Setting
Abigail was a little less red now that she stopped hearing the comments, but she was going to be red for a while. Especially if she kept thinking about it. She heard her boyfriend and turned to face him. She was starving, but she was freaking out too much to register that she needed to eat. "C-cas, I heard things. And now those things won't leave my head. And now my face is permanently the shade a freshly washed firetruck" She said using her hands to hold her cheeks. She pretty much disregarded the part where she needed to eat breakfast. Her stomach growled, but it was like she couldn't even hear it. She was too busy freaking out about the rated r part of life.
Cordelia felt bad for messing with her friend the way she had and she knew she was going to regret it later. Leon wasn't going to just let this go. But right now, she would relive this moment all over again. Especially the part where Leon showed some vulnerability. That might have been her favorite part. Aidan cracked another joke and Cordelia giggled a bit. He had no idea. "I hope you forgive me for messing with Abby's innocence." Cordelia said to Aidan, before going back to eating her food. "Even though it kind of shocks me. I mean Cas is anything but ugly and your sister is beautiful. I mean I even have a hard time keeping my hands away from you. I don't know how she does it." Cordelia said before putting more food in her mouth. She sipped her water. If it were currently up to her, her and Aidan would be doing what Roman and Leon had done.
Roman slowed down his jogging when he neared there room. He walked inside to find Leon face down in the bed, bright red in the face no doubt. So he neared the side of the where he head was laying and sat on the edge. "Sweet heart. Don't be upset." He cooed. He ran his fingers through Leon's hair softly. Roman didn't exactly know how to bring Leon back down from his high level of embarrassment. "If it makes you feel better. You weren't the only one red in the face." He gave his boyfriend his signature smile even though he wasn't really paying attention.
Abigail kissed her boyfriend back and it actually reduced the redness in her cheeks. Cas claimed that it was safe and she believed him. But she didn't really know if she was actually hungry. He moved off the bed and extended his hand toward her. Abby wasn't going to leave his hand. She took hold of it and ran her fingers through her brown hair. "I'm sure Leon is much more embarassed than you are anyways" Abby nodded in understanding. It was him everyone was talking about. She kind of felt bad, but maybe he wasn't so angry. Cas urged Abby to eat and she agreed. "Okay." They walked hand in hand back towards the kitchen.
Cordelia could see where Aidan was coming from about Cas. The fact that he was accepting celibacy was actually a tad bit shocking. But love made things like that happen. Then she wondered if Casteel was ever going to tell Abby he loved her. That would be the day. Cordelia kind of wanted to be there to hear it. Just to see his facial expressions. It would be interesting. The angel rested her head on Aidan's shoulder as she shoveled more food into her mouth. "Let me just point out. I like your food way more than I like Cas'." It was a random topic of conversation to bring up.
Roman was expecting many different response from Leon. But when the pillow smacked him in the face followed by a shout, he was taken off guard. He didn't think his boyfriend would have been so upset. If he thought that he would have stopped them from poking fun. They were his friend, it was supposed to be innocent teasing. Roman frowned and held the pillow that was in his lap. No he really felt bad for laughing. "I'm sorry. I didn't realize I was hurting you." He said.
Abby got back to the kitchen to see an absent Leon and Roman. He must have been really embarrassed. At least Roman was going to try and make him feel better. Or at least try. The brunette sat down at the table and went back to eating. Cordelia smiled at her, surprised that she came back a little less red. Cas made a comment about Leon's feelings and she smirked. "I will make time to apologize. After breakfast." She would even bring Leon his breakfast since he didn't even eat. Aidan than apologized for embarrassing Abby as well. She smiled softly. "I-it's okay Dan." She said, before putting another forkful of food in her mouth. She was just hoping to eat without exploding. Cordelia continued to eat as well although her plate was near empty.
Roman tried to understand what Leon was saying, but he was having a hard time. His face was still in the sheets and everything was muffled. The older male just assumed that Leon wasn't mad because there wasn't anymore yelling or pillow throwing. The blonde angel turned his head a tad, but that was enough to have Roman understand what he was saying. And Roman sort of understood. He kind of just came out to everyone yesterday, but it was a definite outing today. So he must not have been used to the attention about it. Roman fake pouted and leaned down, placing a kiss on his open cheek. "Well you have me to help you get through it all. You have experienced the worst of it. It's gonna be fine."
There was a bit of foot steps coming from near by and from the upstairs and Cas figured some of the others were starting to wake up. He wondered how they were doing, since he didn't have the chance to cure them in any way. He thought about how much they all helped the day before and decided he should thank them and let them know their effort was appreciated, even though the former council members wouldn't really know what that feels like. And then, as if on cue, an idea popped into the blue eyed God's mind and he turned to Cordelia with a look that was a cross of curiosity and hope. "Do you happen to have any more of that stuff you gave me, by any chance?"
Cordelia finished her plate of food and then her cup of water. She was waiting for everyone else to be finished as well. That way they could all disperse and do something together. Like some weird family. Hopefully that didn't involve more fighting. Because if another God messed with her wings, she was going to kill them. Although the violent minded angel didn't know how yet, it was going to happen. "Do you happen to have any more of that stuff you gave me, by any chance?" Cas was the one to bring Cordelia from her thoughts. For a moment she had no idea what he was talking about, but then it hit her. He is talking about the elixir that gave him the ability to get emotions. Then she had to think if she had any of that stuff left anywhere. "Well I do. But it's back in the war zone." She stated, gesturing towards the gated front door. "I have to go and get it." That was stupid and dangerous, but she wouldn't mind. She had a baseball bat.
Roman felt better when Leon seemed to feel better about the whole situation. They even shared a small kiss which Roman took as a 'we can go back to breakfast'. Leon didn't see it that way. The blonde angel declared that he still wasn't going back to the kitchen and proceeded to cover himself with a pillow. Roman rolled his eyes and laid down so that he was laying parallel to his boyfriend. He crossed his arms and stared up at the ceiling. "Eventually you have to face them again." He said, in attempt to ruining any thoughts Leon might of had for staying in here all day.
Cas was satisfied with Cordelia's answer, even though she said it was back in the war zone, he was glad to hear that there was some left. It looked like he would be able to carry out his plan after all. The success of it depended on how much of the liquid was left. "I'll go with you" he said, knowing that she needed to go because he had no idea where it was hidden, but she couldn't go alone or she almost definitely would not make it back. He looked at her, waiting for her answer. Even if she didn't want him to go, he would. He was the squad leader after all. He could hear the angels and god's heading to the kitchen and decided if there wasn't much left he would give it to the council members that had decided to side with them first. His hope was to stretch it out as much as possible.
Casteel said that he was going to go with her. She was actually just hoping that she wouldn't need to go and get anything from anywhere. For some reason she was expecting to say "okay nevermind." But it seemed the two of the would be entering the warzone for a bottle of magic liquid. That was going to be fun. She glanced down at the plate of food that Leon barely got to touch. A thought popped into her head and she took hold of it. "I will be back." Standing up she left the three of them to go and give her best friend some food and an apology. Abigail had managed to finish her food trying not to think of anything awful happening to Cas or Cordelia. They were going to leave to get whatever it was. She prayed they would returned. She finished her water and relaxed in the chair.
Roman wrapped an arm around Leon when he moved to get comfortable on his chest. He stroked his backside lightly as they laid there in silence. This time Roman was actually going to just embrace the silence, since he never has before. "You should go eat" He raised an eyebrow while looking down at his boyfriend. "And leave you here to hide alone? I don't think so." He wasn't going to just let Leon hide here by himself. Breakfast can wait a little longer. Just then there was a knock on the door. Roman was pretty sure Leon wouldn't get up to open it. Shifting beneath the blonde angel he managed to get up off the bed. The knock came again. Roman opened the door and watched a Cordelia smile at him. "Oh you brought food. I will give it to him." Cordelia held the plate away from Roman. "No way lover boy. I am handing Leon this food." Roman chuckled. "I don't think-" Cordelia just pushed pass Roman and walked in. Roman was about to turn around and remove her, but Cordelia pushed him out of the room. Shutting and locking the door she smiled at her best friend. "Believe or not. This is a peace offering."
Roman couldn't believe that he was kicked out of his own room. By Cordelia no less. He shook his head and then decided to head back to the kitchen. He was hungry still and Cordelia wasn't letting him back in the room anytime soon. When he got there he perked up when he saw Abby had returned. And she was less red. "Hey Lil Red glad to have you back at the table." He said, referring to the red tint on her cheeks. He sat down where Cordelia had been sitting and leaned back in the chair.
Cas was already formulating a plan in his mind to retrieve the magic liquid when Cordelia announced she would be coming back. He assumed she was going to apologize to Leon. Aidan watched as she left and hoped that Leon wasn't too mad at her. He never thought anyone could get that embarrassed, aside from Abby. "Good luck" Cas called out as she headed out. Not too long after, Roman walked into the kitchen. Aidan gave him a little wave. Leon and Cordelia weren't with him so he assumed they were talking things out. Castiel didn't even acknowledge his presence, too focused on his master plan. However he lifted his eyes brows at Roman's nickname for Abby. We'll if that's how he wanted to play it, then that was fine by Cas. "How's the little sheep. He's not too embarrassed is he. Maybe I should go and make him feel better" he said, adding in a smirk at the end.
"How's the little sheep. He's not too embarrassed is he. Maybe I should go and make him feel better" Little sheep? Roman did not like that nick name. Especially coming from the God's mouth. If this was for calling Abby Little Red, the God needed to back down. That was like his sister and he has always been messing with her like that. But what even made it worse was that Cas suggested he go and make him feel better. Roman used all his strength to keep himself together. He knew how Abby got around fights of any kind. He wasn't about to scare her. "Cordelia can handle it." He stated, glaring at the god before directing his attention to Abby. He smiled a bit at her. "How do you feel sweet pea?" He couldn't help himself with the nicknames for her. It was a habit that he formed and didn't know how to stop. It wasn't to start some thing between him and the God. Abby smiled and ran her fingers through her hair. "Better than last night." She told him. She would have turned red, but her cheeks were still a bit pink. "How do you feel? And you Dan? I know you guys fought. I never got to make sure you guys were okay." Abby said, concern filling her voice. "I'm all good Abby." Roman reassured.
Cordelia rolled her eyes when Leon said he wasn't hungry. "Liar." She moved closer to the bed and then sat on it with her legs indian style. She sat the plate down close by and dropped her hands over her legs. Her best friend wasn't even looking at her. If she wasn't trying to apologize, she would have just forced him over so he could look at her. "You can't really be mad at me, Leon. I was only teasing." The angel attempted to tell him. After a while, she shifted so that she was resting her head on his stomach. "Talk to me. I miss you." They haven't talked, just the two of them, in a long time. She needed her best friend before she went out to the war zone.

Castiel listened quietly to Roman's conversation with his Abby. It was more than obvious to him that Roman was doing it on purpose. However, Abigail replied casually so Cas decided to keep his mouth shut. "Yeah, I'm alright too. Don't worry" Aidan assured his sister. She seemed to be feeling better as well besides the fact she had said she was okay. But if anything were to happen, they had Castiel. Aidan didn't like leaving the care of his sister in another man's hands, but no one knew more about what was going on and what to do than Castiel did. Said god got to his feet and began picking up plates, tempted to take Roman's from in front of him, but held the urge for Abigail's sake. Anything that wasn't being used he took to the sink to wash. He heard footsteps and turned to see a couple of the other guests walking in. "Good morning".
Abigail was happy to hear that her brother and Roman were alright. They could have been lying just to keep her for worrying, but for now she was okay with that. She silently thanked her boyfriend when he collected her plate and stuff to wash. Roman went to finish eating. He was actually really hungry. The others in the house finally started to emerge. When Cas said good morning, they nodded and said Good Morning back. They also did the same to Abigail. They were technically the two most powerful Gods, Abby only powerful because of Cas, and the others were showing respect. The noticed the food and started grabbing plates and things so that they could eat.
Cordelia felt better when Leon said that he wasn't mad at her. Well she knew that he wasn't, but it sounded nicer when he said he wasn't. She sat up so he could shift, but she went back to laying on him again. "…I'm can't believe you heard" The angel giggled. "If it makes you feel better, I'm happy you are finally happy." She told her best friend. Cordelia tilted to see him covering his face. She sat up completely and grabbed him, pulling him so that he was sitting up. "You can be embarrassed as you eat." she said gesturing to the plate of food.

Castiel finished up the dishes that had been used and walked back over to sit beside his girlfriend, nonchalantly taking her free hand under the table. He watched the others walk around and take their food then quietly find a place at the table. They were all still wearing the clothes from the night before. "When you're finished eating I want you all squeaky clean and changed out of those clothes" he said, addressing gods and angels alike. If he was now the new boss and wanted to change things, he'd make sure to treat the others differently than how his father treated them.
Abigail held Casteel's hand when he took hold of it. A small smile fell on her face and she shifted so that she was leaning against it. It just felt nice being near him. Even if nothing else was really happening. The Gods and Angels got there food and dispersed in various places in the kitchen to eat. The Cas commanded them to shower and change. Although there was authority nad power behind the voice, it was a kind command. He didn't want his allies to look beaten and be uncomfortable. Cas was extending his home and such to them. The council was already looking on the bright side. Roman finished his food and stood up to wash his own plate. He left it in the drying rack and then turned around to lean against the sink. He crossed his arms and just waited. He was really for Cordelia to walk out here so he can go be with his boyfriend.
Leon started to eat and Cordelia felt like a wonderful best friend. She reminded herself to give herself a pat on the back later. But right now was not a time to boost her own ego. He asked if she was okay and she just shrugged. "Eh. I'm alive." Cordelia wasn't tip top, but she wasn't in pain. That was pretty much the accomplishment of a lifetime considering what they are going through. Running her hands through her hair, she shifted again so she was laying on her side. "But I might not be for long. Cas is taking me out to war." She said casually.

Castiel watched silently as everyone ate. He knew he had to get to work soon, but he didn't want to leave Abigail. He took advantage of the time he used to plot everything out in his head to stay by her. How they would get to the elixir and back in one piece. It'd be tough, but not impossible. Once he thought he had a plan he hesitated before letting out a sigh and getting to his feet. Some of the council members looked up at him, expecting him to make an announcement or command but he simply waved. we should be back soon" he assured them, mainly Abby, and turned to leave. But not before gently kissing his girlfriend.
Abby watched Casteel stand up a tad bit sad that he was going out of the safe haven for something that Cordelia had. She didn't want anything bad to happen to them. There was only two of them and a lot of council and angels they would have to go through. But trying to talk Cas out of it almost wouldn't work. So she just kissed her boyfriend back and sighed as he went to get Cordelia. She rested her head in her hands trying not to look so worried. Roman felt bad for Abby. Even though he didn't like Casteel and didn't care that he throwing himself in the face of danger, he cared about Abby. And so he wished that Cas would come up with a different plan for whatever they were going to do.
Cordelia was expecting him to freaking out the way he had. Though she didn't want him to stop eating. She picked up the fork and placed it back in his hand, gesturing for Leon to continue eating. "Tell him to take someone else" Cordelia shook her head and then there was a knock at the door. At first she thought it was Roman trying to kick her out, but when she heard Cas' voice she knew that it was time to fight. A sigh escaped her and she pushed herself up. "Don't miss me so much." She leaned over and kissed his cheek before getting up off the bed. She opened the door and smiled at her fearless looking leader. "Alright. I'm- wait." She liked walked right by Cas into the nearby room where her and Aidan slept. She grabbed the baseball bat that was under the bed and then walked back over to him. "Ready."

Cordelia swung the bat around a bit as she followed Cas out of the house. "It's not that I don't trust your power. But if there are too many. This does some damage." And she just liked having the bat on her. It was like reassurance that everything was going to be okay. "Just don't hut me with it and you can have as many bats as you want" She looked at him with a smirk on her. "Don't do anything stupid. And I won't think about hitting you. She stopped swinging the bat when Cas started looking around the corner, cautiously. It was time to get serious. She held the bat closely to her. Cordelia followed Castiel closely behind. All they had to do was get to her room without getting caught. And then get back. It would be easy unless someone spotted them. Because then they would need back up.
Abigail thought that she was doing a good job hiding her worry, but it was evident that she wasn't. Aidan took her hands and told her everything was going to be okay, but they didn't know that. No one knew that. There were so many of them out there and only two of them. Castiel may be able to hold his own, but they were still outnumbered. But she nodded at Aidan when he said those words. She was going to keep hope. Roman watched Leon walk into the room. He didn't know how he was feeling again. But the worried look on his face kind of gave it away. He was absentmindedly washing his dishes. Roman wanted to kiss his boyfriend and tell him everything would be okay, but he didn't want to embarrass him anymore than he had been this morning. So he turned to look at him. "Are you going to be alright?"

Cordelia was shocked that they had made it towards the angel dorms. But at the same time it was worry some. Nothing was moving. No noises were being made. It was almost like the enemy was waiting for something. The angel was afraid of what that something was. But what mattered was that she got the elixir and return to the safe haven without a scratch on her. Also without a scratch on Cas, but he was way more durable than she was. Getting into her room she started looking around for where she hid it. The angel was hoping no one searched her room and found it. She reached underneath her pillow and pulled out of the dark green bottle. Cordelia held it up to the light to check to see how much was in it. There should be enough to do whatever Cas needed. For it to work they only need to sip the contaminated drink. Turning to Cas, she held it out to him. "This is it." she whispered to him.
Abby adjusted that her brother was more comfortable resting his head on her shoulder. She brought a hand up and ran it through her hair. She watched as the other angels and council members ate their breakfast quietly. It was weird seeing them on their side when they were fighting them just yesterday. Roman was about to welcome Leon when he laid on him, but then he quickly stood back up. He had to keep the frown from showing on his face. Running his hands on the back of his neck he pushed off the sink. "Let me know when they get back." He muttered, before heading back to his bedroom. There was no point to just standing around waiting. It would just worry everyone even more. And on top of that, he didn't want to be next to his boyfriend if he couldn't even touch him.

Leon stared at the floor for a moment before realizing Roman had spoken to him. He looked up in surprise, wondering why he had decided to leave. Leon managed to catch a glimpse of his face and he looked upset. Was it because of him again? He looked around the room at the other angels. Some of them were watching Roman, some of them were watching him and some didn't seemed to pay them any mind. Leon pushed himself off the counter, hesitating a bit, before walking up beside Roman and quietly lacing their fingers together. He could feel the eyes of all the other angels on them and his cheeks burned, but he didn't falter. "I'll go with you" he said, looking at the ground. He glanced over his shoulder at the others.
It seemed like the mission was pretty much over. They had the elixir and if they left as quiet as they came in, they would be fine. Of course with their luck, the enemy had something special for them. Bullets started flying and she winced as one grazed her arm. Castiel wrapped her up in his durable wings. They were still running. Cordelia realized that her baseball bat would be useless against guns. Silently cursing herself as she held her arm. It was bleeding but it wasn't anything a band aid couldn't fix. "Are you alright?" The angel nodded. "Just a scratch. Come on. We aren't going to last long in these bullets." She said, gesturing they pull over for some cover. Running in bullets was just going to getting them hurt.
Roman was going to just lay down and play games on his phone to pass the time away. But Leon took hold of his hand which forced him to stop walking. The younger male was a tad red, but he said that he would follow. Roman nodded. "Alright." He said. The older angel started heading towards the room again, but was pulling Leon along with him.
Abigail was staring at the door and she thought she was going to go insane. Standing up, she pulled Aidan with her. She dragged him out of the kitchen and towards the living room. The last time she was here, she had danced with Cas. It had calmed her nerves. Letting go of her brothers hand she found the stereo and turned it on to Elton John. That was the default setting. Going back towards Aidan she took his hands. "Dance with me please? It will calm my nerves. Nothing complicated I promise." She knew her brother couldn't dance, but she needed a distraction.
