Full Name: Amalthea Desolee Roerig
Nicknames: Amy, or Miss Roerig
Age: 24
Birthdate: 9th of August
Home Town: Dublin, Ireland. I've worked off most of my Irish accent, but there's still some in there, not that I mind. It's part of my roots.
Sexuality: Straight

School: Arcana. I'm the school nurse and also teach Philosophy and Ethics

Power:
Healing Touch. My only real limitation is that I cannot heal the dead - I'm no necromancer. I'm also not good with diseases. I can cure some, but the more resistant one like cancer, take time and effort. And bigger wounds tend to tire me as well. Other than that I can heal a person up within but a moment. I also need to be able to touch my patients - I can't heal from afar as it doesn't work like a spell. Learning how to heal also demands a great deal of knowledge on the human body, which I have fortunately acquired over the years.

Likes:
- Helping people
- Using my powers for good
- Smiles and laughter
- Sunsets
- Teaching and discussing ethical issues with my students
- Romantic gestures
- Chocolate, white and milk
- Tulips

Dislikes:
- Crying and screaming
- Horror movies
- Students smooching. I don't mind the cute aspect of them falling in love, but I can make do without watching the hormonal show that follows
- Mean/Rude people
- People being hurt. Which is why I love making it better
- Dark red

Fears:
A patient dying on me. I am petrified of the possibility of not being able to help someone survive. I'd feel responsible, always feeling like I could've done more. It's my greatest fear, but I'm also slightly scared of the Noctrem students. The way they embrace darkness is disturbing and having people like that wielding powers like theirs. Well... it scares me a little.

Personality:
I'm a good person in general. Or, at least I consider myself as such. I'm a hopeless romantic, but I'm also realistic. You might say that it's an odd combination, and you'd be right, but it's who I am. I love helping people, and I adore causing smiles to illuminate faces, but I am in no way a doormat. I can be very firm and decisive, while at the same time being soft and mellow. I've gotten past my teenage naivety and know exactly what kind of people are out there, something I try to warn my students about. I do my very best to keep them safe from harm, but I have no defensive or offensive powers, really. All I can do is heal them once they're already hurt. It's difficult sometimes, but I've learned to live with it. I've sort of had to.

I'm quite frankly the kind of woman who'd just as soon hug you and tell you you're amazing, as scold you about acting like a fool. I rarely dislike people, but I'm also not someone who'll like you regardless of how you act, or most importantly, use your powers. I believe that with great powers comes great responsibilities, however cliche that may sound.

History:
Simone and Peter Roerig were a nice couple. They lived in a cute little cottage in the countryside of Dublin, Ireland. They were quite happy, had a dog called Daisy and a little daughter. That daughter would be me. I'm not bragging when I say I had the most amazing childhood. Daisy was my best friend - she was always with me when I ran around our yellow fields with my friends, playing catch and hide and seek. My grandmother had been a healer too, and she'd oftentimes sit by the fire with me, explaining to a young Amalthea, the importance of using your gifts for good purposes. She talked of magical academies and people with the most amazing powers. I could scarcely believe my own ears back then. It all seemed so amazing. When I was only 12, Daisy got sick. Of course, 'only' 12 would mean something different to the, at that time, old dog. I would sit by her for ours upon hours, petting her, whispering that it was all going to be okay. Childish naivety kept me thinking that she'd be okay despite her old age. One day, my mother sat me down and explained to me that Daisy wasn't going to make it. Full of despair and sorrow, I ran to the collie, hugging her as I cried out my grief.

Then I healed her. To me, it only felt like a tingle in my stomach, but when I pulled back, wiping my tears, Daisy was healthy again; the colour and life had come back into her eyes. She lived for two more years until I finally had to let her go, but it was how I discovered my powers. On the day of my 15th birthday, my grandmother died, and I no longer had anyone who could relate to having powers. So my parents sent me to Arcana Academy, for those magic users who, like me, believed in using your powers for good. There, I learned more of my abilities - learned to focus the direction, mend inner damages and so forth, both on animals and humans. I

t was quite wonderful and well... I never wanted to leave. At the same time, though, I wanted to do good; I wanted to help the world, so I joined the army as a field nurse at 20. It was dirty, hard work, and smiles were few, but I saved countless lives. However, I also witnessed much death. After a year, I returned to Arcana, needing to mend my own psyche and feeling like I owed the academy for being there for me when I needed it most. So here I am, working as a teacher and nurse. I adore my job here, but now that the Noctrem students are joining with out Arcana ones, well... we'll see how it turns out. I'm probably going to have to cut down on classes and spend more time as a nurse.

Anything else?
My eyes are a vibrant violet. An interesting mix between blue and purple. Most people find them fascinating, in any case. They also turn completely purple with silver specks when I heal.

The sunlight was streaming in through the open curtains of Leonardo's bedroom, the rays dancing across the skin of both himself, and the beautiful, bare woman next to him. He had been awake for some time now on this Monday morning, his hand delicately moving through Amy's long brown locks, watching her sleep so peacefully beside him. The male hadn't had a good night sleep - the anticipation of the next day keeping him up throughout most of the night. Today was the day that the Noctrem students were finally coming into the school, moving in, to live and study in the same place as his beloved Arcana students. Obviously, the thought had worried him, mixing both good and bad student in his school, but that was what he had to do - he couldn't just leave the Noctrem students in that motel.

A soft sigh escaped the male's lips as he laid there, still aimlessly running his fingers through Amy's hair, soothing himself. Without the beautiful young brunette next to him, Leo had no idea how he would be feeling right now. The sweet girl had kept him sane, kept him calm throughout the transition, and after last night, had relaxed him completely. He was so lucky to have her in his life as more than just a friend any more, than he had taken that extra step forward, and had claimed her as his own. Their last week together had been incredible; holding her in his arms, kissing her, making love to her. They had decided to keep their relationship secret, if only just for now. Leo had created rules three hundred years ago, stating that employees shouldn't be dating, and yet, here he was, breaking his own rules. If Cain ever found out... he shook his head slightly, grimacing at the idea of his "enemy" finding out that he was breaking his rules. One person already knew about it, Corentine Quellen, and that was as many people as he wanted involved.

Leo turned his head to the side, looking at his clock as he lay there. The time was 7:00 AM, the time he usually got up to get himself ready for work. Slowly, the male who had been leaning up on his elbow, bent his head down, placing a delicate kiss on the lips of his stunning girlfriend. "Amy..." He whispered softly, his lips still brushing against hers as he spoke, "you need to wake up, baby."

Emily Marks, a receptionist who had worked in the main office for a number of years, had been entrusted with the task of putting up the roommate list. At 7:00 AM on the dot, she had left her station, the piece of paper in her hand, and she had pinned the list to the wall, just past the main entrance to the school. An error had occurred that she had been unaware until yesterday, and by then, it had been too late to change. The Noctrem students were going to be roomed with an Arcana student, someone to help them settle in, an error that Leo hadn't liked one little bit. In fact, he had fired the head receptionist, Hannah, giving Emily a promotion in the process. Any moment now, the students from the Noctrem School would be entering Arcana Academy, no longer seeing it as just a place of study, but now, also their new home. Upon the list, is the roommate pairings, and a map of the entire school.

Leo couldn't stop himself from smiling as the beautiful woman next to him rose up from underneath the duvet, baring her naked body to him without a care. "Good morning." He spoke, letting himself being pushed back down onto the bed, Amy leaning over the top of him. He couldn't say that he disliked the view in front of him, and for a brief moment, the male felt himself being taken back to the night before, where the woman had been practically in this position, her breasts bare and bouncing, the first time they had made love... He was however quickly brought back into the present, when the stunning woman spoke to him, asking him about sleep. "Not true. I slept a little last night, just... not as much as I probably should have." He smiled gently, bringing up his left hand to delicately brush away a strand of hair that was falling in front of her face. He had never been so happy before, never been in a position like this where he had cared about someone so much that he let them sleep next to him in his bed. Amy was the first woman that he had loved in two and a half thousand years, and he couldn't be happier about that fact.

He let his hand cup her cheek softly as she kissed him, smiling against her lips. Every little touch between them sparked electricity into the males hands, his lips, his heart. However, then, he watched her smile disappear, and he instantly knew that something was wrong. Something that she was going to tell him, and something that he was not going to like. Leo shifted slightly in the bed, raising himself up so that his head was resting against the headboard, her lips working on his jaw. He, however, didn't enjoy it as much as he should have. Instead, he was a little worried as to what Amy was going to say, and he could see that same feeling mimicked in her own eyes.

Yup, he didn't like what she had to say at all. The male closed his eyes, taking in a deep breath as she began to speak about their relationship again. She just didn't understand; she didn't get his need to abide by all rules, and especially his own. How would he look in front of Cain, in front of everyone, when they found out that he was breaking his own rules. Leo shook his head, moving out of his position from underneath her, exiting the bed. "Really Amy?" He asked her, an exasperated tone taking over his voice. "You want to do this right now? After an amazing night, and before one of the most stressful days of my life in millenniums? Really?" He took up his mobile phone from the side, angrily pressing in the buttons, his fingers missing the keys every now and again. He really wasn't the most techno-savvy person in the world, and it took him a moment to find the send button, sending his text back to Cain.

You sir, are a grammatically challenged braggard. Yes, I know about the mistake, and I don't like it any more than you do.

Leo put his phone down on the side, and moved over to the main telephone in his room, the one that if when he pressed in a number of buttons, he was able to speak over the tannoys around the school. [u]"All students, please note that there is an assembly being held at ten o'clock in the main hall. Non-attendance will result in an immediate detention, and a loss of free periods."[/s] Then, he slammed the phone back down into it's holder, turning back to face Amy. "Look, we've got to get ready. We'll talk about this later." He sighed, before making his way into the bathroom, shutting the door behind him.

[font=georgia]Erin had woken up with a bright smile on her face, unlike most of the other Noctrem students that morning. She was happy that they were leaving that god-damned motel, and moving into the Arcana Academy, a place they had been going to study for the past month or so anyway. She had no feelings about the "life long battle" or whatever that was supposed to be going on between the two academies, she didn't care about it at all. In fact, she had no qualms with any of the Arcana kids, minus ones that had offended her since her schooling life there had begun - she disliked more of the Noctrem students than those from Arcana. There was one thing on the girl's mind that morning, one thing that had the smile stuck on her face for all the world to see - and that was Keirol Rancora. The one boy who had ever wriggled his way into her heart, settling himself there for the rest of time.

As she stood there, looking into the mirror, the girl took in her appearance. The one thing that caught her eye however, was the glistening sword necklace around her neck - the one that Keirol had given her a few days prior. Her hand came up to aimlessly play with the pendant, turning it around in her fingers. The smile on her face was that of a girl in love, her eyes glazing over slightly as she went back in time to that moment on the hill. A sigh escaped her lips as she day-dreamed, still turning the locket over in her fingers. Then, a banging on her door broke her out of the trance, the girl snapping her head up quickly.

The quick movement had jolted Erin out of her daze, and into the reality of pain. Her head was throbbing as she walked towards the door, rubbing at her temple softly to try and rid herself of the drink-induced headache. Of course, Cor had been the one who had gotten her drunk, the one who had literally forced her to down her brother's bottle of vodka, despite the fact she despised the drink. She took in a few deep breaths before opening the door, before the whirlwind began. Cor had been there to shift her into gear, and within in the minute, the two girls were downstairs, shoving their bags into the bus and sitting down next to each other.

The bus journey to Arcana Academy had been another blur for Erin, letting her head loll softly on top of Cor's, slipping in and out of sleep. The headache was progressively getting worse, and somewhere deep down, she felt like slapping her best friend for forcing her to letting her drink so much. Soon, the bus was pulling to a stop, and the two girls were exiting, hand in hand, being one of the first to collect their bags. No-one really messed with Cor, and Erin was guilty due to association. She chuckled at the sarcasm in Cor's voice as they walked into the school, taking in a deep breath. She moved away from her blonde best friend, her eyes glancing over at the crowds of people beginning to swarm the reception. She was hoping to see Keirol, to pick him out of the crowd, but he didn't seem to be there. She spotted the speedy guy coming in to check the board, Colby, she believed his name was, and she witnessed the sickening sitaution between Drake and Addison. The girl physically grimaced as she looked upon the scene, before Cor's voice again hit her ears. Addi deserves so much better. She thought to herself, before turning around to see what had gotten her friend so het up.

There was a defnite reason, all right. As Erin's eyes scanned the list of roommates in front of her, her expression turned quizical, before turning angry. She wasn't "angry angry", but she was definitely irritated. "What the fuck?" She repeated Cor's words, her mouth hanging open slightly as she realized that the two schools had been mixed. "We're not rooming together? Well, this just turns everything on it's fucking head, doesn't it?" She sighed loudly. When she found her name, and saw that she was rooming with Loralei Evans, the gypsy girl, she shrugged. "I don't mind. It's better than say... rooming with darling little Lulu or sickly sweet Ashleigh." Erin forced a laugh, but it soon turned to a real one when she saw who Jay was rooming with. "Oh, c'mon, it's not that bad." She put her arm around her friend's shoulders, sarcasm lacing every word that escaped her lips. "Come on, they may even... become friends?" Then, the girl burst out laughing, turning to apologize to her friend "Oh, I'm sorry Cor. That's just... oh, that's going to make your life fun." She grinned.

"So," Erin spoke, the grin once again evident on her face, turning to face Cor, "what shall we do until this stupid assembly?"

Tears fell softly onto the bed as Jackson stood there, holding his precious baby daughter in his hands. She was the most beautiful thing that he had ever seen, the one thing that shined so brightly in his life. Holly Millicent Murphy, a little girl with a head of soft brunette locks, and the most beautiful blue eyes in the entirety of the world, inherited from her mother. Jack slowly looked up, looking over at his girlfriend, smiling with largest smile ever at her. She looked so weak, so tired, but so beautiful. He moved over to sit next to her, holding Holly in one arm, and wrapping his other around Beth. The two of them looked down at the life they had created, their smiles never falling from their faces.

However, the scene soon changed. The room turned dark, and Jackson snapped his head up, the smile falling from his face, wondering what was going on. He wasn't in the hospital any more, he was in Beth's bedroom, still in that same position, his arm wrapped around Beth, however, Holly was in her arms this time. Tears were falling down his face, but he couldn't move his lips to ask her what was wrong. He knew something bad was going to happen, something terrible, but he just couldn't think as to what it could be. Then, his daughter stopped moving. She turned a horrible shade of grey, loosing all colour in her skin, but Jackson couldn't move. All he could hear was Beth screaming, tears falling down his own face landing on his daughter's pale face. They were then in a car, him holding Holly. She was cold, and she wasn't moving; all Jack wanted to do was to touch his daughter properly, to hold her close, hug her and kiss her, but he just couldn't move. He couldn't do anything as they arrived at the hospital, and Holly was taken out of his arms. The same word was then repeated over and over again, resounding in the male's ears.

Dead.

Dead.

Dead.

Dead!

Jack's eyes snapped open, and he flung up in his bed. His breath was hard and ragged, his heart pounding at a thousand miles an hour. He hadn't had a dream about Holly and Beth for a number of months, and it took him a moment to realize why his past was coming back to haunt him once again. Beth Phillips was now a student here, or had been for the past month - and he hadn't noticed. He had only wondered about her being a student at Arcana when he had heard her name floating around in the corridors. He couldn't believe that she was here, coming back into his life, in such a place as his school. It wasn't as if he didn't want her here... well, that might not be in the case. He didn't want his ex girlfriend, and the mother of his dead child here... but there was absolutely nothing that he could do about it, was there?

He spent a maximum of ten minutes in the shower, letting the warm water wash away all of the sweat and worries from his dream. It didn't take him long to get dressed or ready either, wearing this plain, yet smart outfit, smelling like his favourite cologne, his hair styled in his usual damp mess. He wasn't much of a conformer, but he had decided to go down to the reception hall anyways this morning, to look at the roommate list that had been posted up. Just after he had left his room, he received a text. Pulling out his iPhone, Jack checked his messages, smiling as he saw Lulu's name appearing. The male made his way down to the reception hall, instantly spotting the blonde that had been his best friend through the hardest times in his life.

Instead of going to check his new roommate, he made a beeline for Lulu, wrapping his arms around her waist from behind, a bright smile on his face as he pressed his lips to her hair, a soft, friendly peck. "I'm here." He grinned, moving so that he was now standing in front of her, pulling her into a proper hug this time[u]. "It's great to see you again, Lu."

Miss Amalthea Roerig

As soon as Leo shook his head, Amy knew this was going to be an argument instead of a quiet conversation. Every relationship had its ups and downs, right? And as she constantly had to remind herself; the best things in life always took a ton of work. Leo was the best things that had ever happened to her, but also the most difficult, so she most definitely experienced that saying in person as it was. When he got out of bed, however, she blinked a couple of times moving into sitting cross-legged, pulling the covers up around her; without his warmth, the room was getting a little chilly. His tone bothered her a little, honestly. She knew he had a point, and if it hadn’t been for the dream, Amy wouldn’t have done this now, but it was a fundamental worry to her; that the secret would drive a wedge between them. She hated that she couldn’t show how much she loved him, even just with a look, when others were around. She’d been hiding her feelings for him, for the last many years, and she hated having to hide them still now that they were actually together.

His tone, however, was one you’d take with a difficult child, and though Amy was much, much younger than Leo, she was no child, and she’d be damned if she’d let him talk to her like she was. “Yes, tha-“ she began replying to his exasperated words, but she paused, her mouth falling open when he picked up his phone and began typing. Was he texting? Seriously? While she was trying to talk to him? She was so shocked, she didn’t even know how to react right now. She blinked several times, taking in the sight. That was just not okay. Not even a little. Where the hell did he get off texting when she was talking to him? That was not only inconsiderate, but also completely disrespectful. Hell, it wasn’t like Leo at all. Then again, they’d never really argued before, and she could tell that was where this was headed. Especially since she was growing extremely aggravated with him.

She merely watched as Leo, letting anger slip through his voice, went to make a public announcement. Now, that she could understand. The texting, however, not so much. Mostly because she felt certain – due to Leo’s irritated reacted – it’d been Cain gloating about the room-situation. She could just see a self-satisfied smirk on his face as he pressed send. That man. She winced in slight shock when Leo slammed the phone back down. Truthfully he scared her a little when he was angry, but she wasn’t going to let that hold her back. She was just as angry, so he could pack that shit away, is what he could! She narrowed her eyes when he turned back only to practically dismiss her, and went into his bathroom, actually shutting the door on her. Her lips fell apart again. Who was this man?! Ugh, so damned moody! But no. No way. Not with her. He didn’t get to shut her out. Amy scooted out of bed, grabbing a short silk robe from her overnight bag practically living in Leo’s bedroom. He’d offered her some closet-space, but she hadn’t yet wanted to push herself in too much. Mostly because Leo was so
well, new to relationships and she didn’t want to over-do it this early.

She quickly slipped on the robe, tying it around her slight form and stalked right into the bathroom, irritation drawn clearly on the face, her eyes slightly narrowed. She slammed the door behind her. “You know what, Leonardo Marinos?” She snapped, “I have taken a lot of shit in my life. You should know that. And I’ll be damned if I’m taking any from you!” She stepped over to him, crossing her arms under her breasts as she glared at him. “Firstly,” she began, “don’t you ever dare talk to me like I’m some difficult child, ever again. If you’d asked, I would have told you why I felt the need to bring this up today, but you didn’t. Nope, you resorted to this.” She spread her arms, indicating the situation they were in. “Secondly, sir, next time I talk to you, there will be no texting. It’s inconsiderate and completely disrespectful. You listen, because that’s what you do in a relationship. You communicate and listen to each other. If you don’t, things fall apart, and I refuse to let you slip away because you’re a stubborn old man.”

Amy took a deep breath, trying to calm herself. It didn’t work, though, so she continued, getting it all out. “I don’t care how stressed or worried you are about the day to come – I assume that’s the only reason you reacted so poorly – I do not, and will never, tolerate you treating me like this. I deserve better, and you know it.” She shook her head, sighing as she finally fell down from her anger-high, now just feeling sort of hurt as she looked at him. “The way I see it, the only reason you want to keep us a secret, is because of your pride.” Her eyes dropped to the ground, her arms hanging limply as her sides, with the thought. It was so true, wasn’t it? And she couldn’t help but think; is his pride more important to him than me?

Leo wasn't entirely sure why he had gotten so angry with Amy's comment, but he just was. He couldn't believe that it had been one of the first things out of her mouth since waking up - did she want to start an argument up so soon after rising? Did she instantly want to piss him off, to make him angry so early in the morning? The male was all ready extremely stressed out, angered from the text from Cain, and worried about his students, and now on top of that, he had to deal with an irritated girlfriend, who wanted their relationship to go public? She knew he didn't like talking about it, and she thought now would be the best time? The immortal gently ran his hand through his hair, a long sigh escaping his lips. He knew he wouldn't have long on his own, to calm himself down, and he was sure that she was going to be in the bathroom any moment now.

And he was right.

Within a minute, Amy was barging through the bathroom door, the male having to quickly jump out of the way to avoid being smacked in the face by the door's momentum. Okay, she was pissed. Her short little dressing gown was moving with every one of her movements, showing off her beautiful skin; however, Leo's mind wasn't on that any more. His eyes flitted there, yes, but his main focus was on her face, returning her angry glare. The slam of the door resounded around the apartment, echoing down the hall, most likely. He moved as she spoke, grabbing a towel from his towel rack, wrapping it around his bare waist, keeping his own private area covered. His arms then moved to mimic her own movements, raising his chin up slightly, authoritatively. Soon, she was coming to the end of her rant, and his arms fell down to his sides, sighing in regret.

"I'm sorry, baby." He spoke quietly, moving forward to gently entwine his fingers with hers, squeezing her hand lightly when he had done so. "I didn't mean to react so badly. I just... I don't know what to even think right now, okay?" With his other hand, he delicately lifted her head up by her chin, bringing her gaze back to his. "You do deserve better, I know you do, and I hope you can forgive me for snapping." Leo brought his head down to her height, pressing his lips to her forehead in a soft kiss. "I know you want to make our relationship public, but with everything going on right now, I just... I can't see it going down well. It's nothing to do with pride, but more to do with... teaching. If I break my own rules, how will the other teachers, and students see it? I know it's not the best reason for holding back but... it's my reason." He shook her head softly, pulling her slowly into his arms, holding her close to his chest, his hand resting on the back of her head now.

As he held her there, a soft smile came onto his face, and he moved his head back ever so slightly, looking into her eyes with a playful glint appearing in them. "Did you call me a stubborn old man?"

Posting for Jackson/(Ellie if needed) tomorrow :D

Cor Quellen

Cor smirked when Jay called out from his room. He was probably in the shower, the idiot. She glanced at Erin and was just about to say something when she caught sight of a guy heading their way, looking at them like they were somewhere they weren’t supposed to be. She recognized him as someone Jay hung around with a lot, but she couldn’t remember ever being told his name. So when he greeted her with hers, she raised both eyebrows, looking him over thoughtfully. He was a handsome one – actually, he was hot as hell. It seemed she wasn’t the only one who had a knack for making hot friends. She gestured towards her best friend. “That’s Erin. Who the hell are you?” Her voice held a harsh edge. She didn’t like it when people knew her without her knowing them. There was something creepy about it, and she honestly couldn’t say she was a fan. She felt like he was holding the cards and she despised it, especially as he then invited them into Jay’s room. Who the fuck was this guy?

She moved to lean against the doorframe casually, watching the guy with an assessing, cold look in her eyes. It was pretty much how she regarded any new person she met, and probably why she had so few friends. Or maybe that was because she disliked more people than she liked, but hey, now that she thought of it, maybe it was because she was such a bitch to people. Hm, yeah, the latter was probably the major reason here, and she couldn’t honestly say that she gave much of a shit. If they couldn’t handle the flames, they simply shouldn’t start the fire. Or
wait, was that not more appropriate for Sky? Probably. She mulled it over. Why hadn’t she ever thought of this before? One could say that Cor’s thoughts weren’t really on Killian, even though her eyes looked like she was staring him down intently. She didn’t really care. As long as he wasn’t going to get in the way, he could do whatever the hell he wanted.

When he commented on her and Jay, however, Cor was brought back down to earth and she frowned, narrowing her eyes at the guy in front of her. “Does he now?” she said thoughtfully and a bit coldly, obviously not taking it in a very positive fashion. Apparently he was closer to Jay than she’d thought which merely made her wonder why she hadn’t been introduced to him yet. Obviously it was also bullshit. The only one Jay was going steady with was his girlfriend, Kate, and though Cor hated that fact, she dealt with it
for the time being. She was starting to feel herself giving in, though, because letting go and opening herself up to Jay completely would maybe result in his eyes staying on her. The way he looked everywhere else was worrying her. She knew she held his heart, just like he held hers, but that didn’t mean he wouldn’t fuck around like she did. He’d told her he was doing it to make her jealous, but could she really trust that? She didn’t feel like she could trust him, and she’d told him that. Everything was just such a fucking mess.

Her eyes soon fell on Jay exiting his bathroom, fortunately dressed, as he told her to ignore Killian. She smirked at him. “’The Bastard’”, she began, “isn’t easy to ignore when he talks about things he shouldn’t know shit about.” She raised an eyebrow at him, but grinned when he greeted her with a kiss. The proximity made it possible for her to make out what was written on his forehead, and she couldn’t help laughing, “morning, ‘pussy’,” she teased him, letting her fingers dance over the word. “Hey, I’m glad you didn’t come down,” she then added, a naughty glint in her eyes, “gave me an excuse to come up here instead.” With that she snaked her arms around his neck. Hey, if he was going to kiss her in front of the others, she sure as hell wasn’t going to hide anything either. She started laughing again when he asked about roommates, “oh, love, you are not going to be happy.” She told him, still laughing a little as she spoke. She then cast him a mischievous smirk after calming down a little. “They’re mixing us. Arcanas with Noctrems. I’m with Lauryn, Erin’s with Loralei, and you
”

She paused, pursing her lips in thought as she looked up at him. She couldn’t help it. Drawing it out made it so much better, “you are going to need to reign in your temper in a second...” She leaned up to let her mouth dance over his neck and ear, nibbling and placing tiny kisses to get him in a good mood before she whispered in his ear, amusement in her voice, “you get to room with Sky.”

Drake Quellen

Drake laughed at Lora’s comment about him shrinking and shook his head at her. “Maybe we should start measuring height every day, just to be sure and all.” He countered playfully, “I’m pretty sure I shouldn’t start shrinking just yet.” He chuckled, pulling her closer. He couldn’t help it; she felt good in his arms and her body was a perfect fit for his. So, he liked his girls petite, was there anything wrong with that? He just wanted to whisk her away and do naughty things to her. The thing was, Drake could see the thoughts mirrored in her eyes, which made it even harder to resist. But
he had to. He’d promised himself that nothing of the sort would go down between them, so nothing would, and that was that. Besides
Erin did have a point, he was no good for any girl. Of course, if you wanted pleasure in the bedroom, he’d never had any complaints, but if things went beyond that, he was probably the coldest bastard you’d ever meet. He didn’t turn the girls who fell for him down. He played with them, and he didn’t give two fucks. They were entertainment to him, and nothing more. Sure, they didn’t know that, but whatever.

"So what room are you in? I'm in nine. Rooming with...Erin Hawthorne? I think that’s her name. I only just glanced at the list. The crowd was sort of suffocating me." Lora then said, and Drake grinned down at her. “Erin?” he chuckled, “that’s Cor’s best friend, so you’re probably going to have to get used to her presence soon.” Then, thinking a little, Drake’s smile grew, “she’s cool, though you probably shouldn’t piss her off. She’s a bit of a wild one.” Then he finally let go of her – mostly because he wanted to do so much more to her body than hug it, and he wasn’t going to, so letting go was the best option. “I’m with the speedster in room 2.” He then told her, his voice more or less indifferent. He didn’t really care. Colby was an alright guy. A little too out there sometimes, but hey, he was sure the guy wasn’t as bad as some of the others and the sexuality bit didn’t bother him either. He’d grown pretty used to that stuff after rooming with Theo’s ex Scott. He’d known about their relationship pretty much from the get-go. It was hard hiding things from your roommate. Especially if your roommate was as perceptive as Drake.

At her next words, Drake looked her over, smiling wryly before glancing at the clock on the wall. “Well, you could always show me where room 2 is,” he told her, smiling down at her before picking his huge duffel bag up from where he’d dropped it to hug Lora, “I’m getting sick of carrying this monster around,” added as an explanation, referring to his bag. “Then we can always sneak off,” he said with a playful glint in his eyes, “we still have a couple of hours until the assembly starts. I guess we’ll have to go to that. I’m not too keen on getting more detentions right now.” He flashed her a crooked grin. “I think I’ve had plenty lately.” He began walking towards the stairs, knowing that Lora would keep up, “if I didn’t know better, I’d say our headmaster doesn’t like me.” Then he chuckled. He was perfectly aware that Leonardo Marinos was far from his biggest fan. Probably because Drake spent a lot of time trying to get inside the guy’s head. He was making progress if he said so himself, especially since he’d noticed a change in the guy about a week ago. The same kind of change he’d noticed in the school nurse. And Drake, well
 he didn’t believe in coincidences.

Miss Amalthea Roerig

The way Leo raised his chin a bit, an arrogant display, Amy felt her anger increase. Who the hell did he think he was?! He might be her boss in all technicality on the job, but right now she was with her boyfriend – not her boss – and he held no authority over her in their relationship. Not even a little. His attitude fueled the rest of her rant as she kept glaring at him. When she finished and dropped her gaze, however, feeling hurt, she could almost feel the air in the room around them calming down, like the mood had changed. By the time Leo apologized, his fingers intertwining with hers, Amy had calmed herself down a bit. The feeling of his skin on hers again, made her feel a little better. She peered up at him when he gently lifted her head, love in her eyes along with faint traces of irritation and sadness. She smiled at him when he told her he knew she deserved better and asked for her forgiveness. She had her Leo back, it seemed. She had been worried this was going to get very intense before it got better.

She closed her eyes with a soft sigh when his lips touched her forehead. With his next words though, her smile faltered and she opened her eyes to look up at him. How was she ever going to get through to him? It wasn’t that she didn’t understand his reason, because she did. The others, especially the students, would think it wasn’t all that bad breaking the rules, and Leo was so very attached to those rules. But
 she still just
she couldn’t make herself accept it. She’d tried this past week, but part of her kept rejecting the very idea. She loved him so much she’d do anything to stay with him, but the secret only made her feel even more like a student having an improper relationship with the teacher. Maybe that was because he’d been her teacher only 5-6 years ago, or maybe it was because of the very substantial age difference between them. She didn’t know, but she didn’t like it. It felt like being with Leo was wrong, but it wasn’t. It felt so right. Especially after last night. Being with him like that had been
gods, she felt like their souls had joined, like they were meant to be together.

She felt sick, suspecting that he would never be okay with the two of them going public with their relationship. Sick and sad. Then her drew her into his arms and Amy took a deep breath, enjoying the heat and scent of the man she loved as her arms came up to wrap around his torso, hugging him close. Her stomach was churning and she felt bile starting to rise, like she needed to throw up. It was so sudden, Amy took a deep breath once more, trying to calm her abdomen. She didn’t want to ruin the moment by throwing up. “I know,” she whispered in reply to his previous words. She wasn’t agreeing with him, and she didn’t let him think this discussion was over, but right now she just didn’t have the energy to keep going for some reason. Maybe because she’d had so little sleep. Leo had been completely insatiable after the first time they’d made love, and she honestly couldn’t remember how many orgasms she’d had. It had been entirely heavenly and
 magical, almost.

Then Leo drew his head back a little, and Amy moved to look up at him, but the simple movement made her feel even more sick, bile rising. Her head moved a little forward as she tried to force it away and she tried to focus on Leo, but she knew she was on edge. His comment made her laugh softly, which was like opening a window, and so Amy quickly pulled out of Leo’s arms and ran to the toilet where she kneeled and began returning her dinner from last night, which as it was, did not look, nor smell, as good as it had when she’d made it for her and Leo. She managed to move her hair out of the way as she convulsed, placing her hands on the toilet seat to keep steady. She no longer cared about her hair. She could wash it afterward. What had caused this, she didn’t know. It didn’t feel like food poisoning.

The Empath

He was alone in a massive steel fortress, the clouds dark and stormy as he surveyed the world around him. The entire landscape was bleak and desolate, fires raged around the fortress as demons of rage, lust, envy, and greed; as well as spirits of valor, justice, tolerance, truth...they all beat at the steel walls, trying to claw their way in. Vincent knew exactly where he was too, this was his mind, and he stood upon the battlements of the fortress that protected it. At times, the young man hated his power, because he didn't know true rest like others did. His mind was always active, always alert to the emotions and dreams of others, that attempted to invade his mind, seeking to drive him to the point of raving. He just glared balefully at all the emotions at his walls before forcing himself to wake up.

As the man rose from his dreaming, Vincent merely looked out the window and sighed to himself. He knew that today was the day that the Noctrem students would be coming to live with the Arcana students, and tensions would be running wild along with the emotions that went with it. So, he got up and went to the bathroom to take a shower. Stepping into the hot water, he sighed outloud this time as he felt the raging emotions through the school. He felt them battering at his walls, trying to get in, but with a simple pulse of his power, they were driven back into silence once again. As he rinsed off, the young man stumbled and fell as he felt rage and anger so powerfully close to him. He knew those emotions...they belonged to Amy and Leo. I wonder what happened between them...or was there relationship issues? Vincent mused to himself before stepping out and hurridly drying off and changing into his usual gray suit with a red tie.

After moving from his bedroom, the young man grabbed some bagels and jam from his kitchenette before walking out his door and locking it. The empath was hit with a new wave of emotions as he noticed the Noctrem students already within the grounds, and probably seeing the room assignments. Vincent shuddered before collecting himself and moving on, forcing his way deeper into the emotional maelstrom. Eating as he walked, the man stopped in front of Leo's room before knocking loudly. "Leo? Are you in there?"

The Bioweapon

After walking back in through his window, the young man surveyed his single room before grinning to himself and stretching. Oh, how Keirol just loved to excercise in the training grounds. He suspected that he'd need to repair the place after accidently blowing part of the wall apart with a punch. "Oh well, the Old Man will tell me to do it later anyway." Shrugging to himself the young man quickly stripped off his clothing and walked into the shower to get the sweat and grim off of his body.

As he stood there, feeling the water run off his body, the young man merely smiled slightly to himself as he thought back on the month he'd spent before today, with the Noctrem blonde that encompassed his thoughts. As he got lost in thought, he couldn't help but think back to the day where he offically obtained a girlfriend, where Erin Hawthorne and he became a couple. That evening on the hillside was one of his most cherished memories, and he couldn't wait to meet her again. "Wait...isn't today the day where the Noctrem students come to live with us?" He asked himself aloud before grinning and hurridly drying off before throwing on a pair of jeans with sneakers and a button-up shirt and leaving his room. Using his key to enter the teacher's living quarters, he blinked at Mr. Steele at Leo's door before snagging one of his bagels and yelling inside the room. "Hey Old Man! Up and at it! We got work to do today!" Nodding to Vincent the young man left the teacher's section once more.

As he walked the halls, Keirol noticed the students milling about aimlessly, but he couldn't really care less. His attention was on trying to find two blondes. Once he walked further down the hallways, he found the two outside Jay's door. I wonder what they're doing here. He simply mused before leaning on the wall and looking into the room. "Erin, Cor. Good to see you two." He stated conversationally giving them both a smile. He knew what Cor thought of him, being an Arcana student and essentially Leo's son, but he actually liked hanging around her. The bitchy blonde had a way of spicing up life. He then winked at Erin and faced her completely. "How was your trip over?" He just looked at Jay and nodded to him in hello but he shot Killian a small glare.

Ellie sat quietly in the corner of her bedroom, rubbing gently at her temples. She had become attuned to the voices of the Noctrem students and the Arcana ones individually, and with all of them in one small school, it was beginning to take a toll on her brain. Her head was hurting, unable to ignore some of the louder thoughts coming from downstairs; the protests of Corentine Quellen, Colby Haskin's excitement, the slight fear in Sky Byrnes. She wished that there was some way to stop the voices from entering her head against her will, but there really was no way to do it; she had tried many different ways, and researched for months, but to no prevail. She was just stuck in a vicious cycle of pain, and knowing every body's business. Rubbing her temples was one calming way that she had found oddly soothed the pain, however, that was it. That was all there was that she could do. "Stupid power." She grumbled to herself, her eyes closed as she concentrated on peace.

However, peace was not what she found. A few seconds later, there was a knocking on her door, and the girl's head was snapping up, a smile on her face. She didn't even have to hear the voice of the person outside to know who it was - she could hear his thoughts well enough. Izaiah Dorson was one of the people who's voices she could pick out of a crowd, an extremely difficult feat for a mind-reader. She slowly got up from her corner, her eyes opening as she moved. Izzy was one of her best friends, one of the only people in the entire school who wasn't afraid of her power, and didn't mind being around her despite of it. It was nice, not being treated like a freak and a leper for once, and it honestly made her smile. Izzy was such a lovely guy, and there were butterflies in her stomach as she moved towards the door, opening it with a bright smile on her face, one only for him.

"Good morning, sunshine." She smiled, leaning head throbbing head against the door frame, hiding her pain as she usually did. "How are you today?"

They had survived it; their first proper argument. Leo couldn't stop himself from smiling as he felt Amy relax a little into his arms after he had pulled her into his loving embrace, literally feeling the tension leave her body. He felt that something was wrong with her, by the way that she was taking in longer breaths than usual, and the strange way that her body was moving, but he just put it down to the fact that they had just finished arguing. It had to take a few minutes for the anger and the hurt to properly die down at least, and that's what he believed her to be doing. With a smile still on his face, the immortal male held her close to his body, never wanting to let her go. "I'm sorry." He whispered again as he pressed his lips into her hair, taking in the beautiful scent of his Amy.

However, the moment was soon taken away from him as Amy quickly pulled away, after his little joke. "Wha--" he began asking her what he had done to upset her or something, his eyes changing from calm and serene to worried and a little frightened. But, she hadn't just moved away from him. No, the woman that he loved had dashed over to the toilet seat, and she had began to throw up the contents of the wonderful dinner that she had cooked last night, despite how little of it the two of them had actually eaten. Leo moved over to her and pulled her head back gently, brushing it around her ears, moving it off of her face. The man held her brunette locks back with one hand, the other he used to gently rub her back. He had always found that helped when being ill, the soothing motion of a hand rubbing your back, and so, he was trying to pass that on to his beloved.

His eyes were filled with worry, his body tense as he looked down at her. She hadn't been ill the day before - she had been perfectly fine. He had no idea what could have caused this - it definitely wouldn't have been food poisoning, as he had eaten the exact same thing and felt fine. Once Amy had stopped throwing up, the male quickly moved from his position, grabbing his water glass from the bathroom side, filling it up with fresh, cool water. "Here you are, baby." He spoke softly, soothingly, holding it out to her for her to take.

The male then heard a knock at the door, so he put the glass down next to Amy, popping his head around the bathroom door. Vince's voice floated through to his ears after a short burst from Keirol, causing the male to grown inwardly. He called out through the doors, obviously not wanted to leave Amy alone in this state, and... well, his manhood was only being covered by a towel. "Vince, kinda' busy right now. Can it wait?" He then moved his head back inside the bathroom, smiling at Amy. "Sorry baby."

Erin didn't pay much attention as Cor dragged her up to Jay's room, her eyes still scanning the crowds of people, looking for her beloved Keirol. She pouted ever so softly when she couldn't see him, ignoring the stupid wink that Drake had shot her way, before following Cor up to the elevator shaft. However, soon, she was listening to her best friend speak, nodding along to what she was saying. "Yeah, I can't see him around. Jay's probably the next best idea." She smiled softly, dragging her suitcase behind her, pulling it by the handle along the linoleum floor. Her heels clicked as she walked, mimicking the noise of Cor's, echoing around the halls of the school.

"It wasn't just sex? My god, Cor, you're going soft!" Erin nudged her best friend, a playful smile on her face as the two of them made their way towards Jay's room. The room that he was going to have to share with Sky. Oh, that was going to be hilarious. Erin thought that there was probably going to be a lot of late night noise coming from that room, from Cor, from Jay and from Sky. The girl inwardly shook her head, thinking of how she was mostly going to be spending her nights. She wouldn't be in the room with Loralei, the gypsy girl for much of the time that they were here. Oh no, she was going to be sleeping in the arms of her beau, of her Keirol. A stupid smile came onto the girl's face as she walked, thinking about her boyfriend. Her free hand came up to gently touch the pendant moving around her neck, before bumping into someone. "Shit." She muttered as she bumped into Cor, who had stopped in front of Jay's room.

The blonde hadn't realized that the door had been opened, that Killian person standing there. She let her hand move once in a short wave as Cor introduced her to the male, the one that she had seen around a couple of times. He was friendly with Jay? Eesh, bad move, Elastic man. Soon, Jay was entering the scene, wrapping his arms around Cor, enveloping her in kisses and what not. The girl faked being sick, poking her tongue out as she did so. "Do you guys have to? Honestly?" She grumbled, before a deep voice made her turn around quickly. The feigned sicky expression on her face was replaced instead by a bright smile, one she only had for Keirol. The girl leaned her bags against the nearest wall, before moving closer to her boyfriend. She wrapped her arms around his waist, holding him close to her. Well, if Cor was going to flaunt her relationship, why couldn't Erin. "Hi." She murmured softly into his shirt, before craning her head, looking up at him. "It was fine. I think Cor drooled on my shoulder as she snoozed, but other than that..." She smiled, pressing her lips to his in a short, sweet kiss. Then, she noticed the look on his face, a glare being shot at Killian. She was going to ask him why, but it was then that she felt the male's eyes on her body, and felt herself chuckle quietly. Erin wrapped her arms tighter around his waist, continuing to look up at him through her eye lashed, a grin on her face. "Down, boy."

Miss Amalthea Roerig

Amy hated throwing up. It was the most disgusting, repulsive thing ever, and she couldn’t even breathe as the little bit she’d had to eat the day before kept forcing its way up and into the toilet she was bent over, blocking out airways. Soon, she could feel Leo’s hand gently gathering her hair, his other hand caressing her back and she felt herself growing thankful once more that this man loved her, even as she sat there, fighting to breathe while the lumpy, yellow substance forced its way up. Maybe this was a delayed allergic reaction to the red wine from last night? She was grasping at straws though, because she knew her body would’ve reacted sooner if that had been the case. The thing was, however, that others possibilities didn’t fit with this random pattern either. Tears began streaming from her eyes in frustration at her inability to breathe. When it finally stopped, Amy fell down onto her bum, heaving for air as she took some toilet paper and wiped her mouth, throwing it into the toilet afterwards.

Out of the corner of her eye, she noticed Leo moving from her, filling a glass with water and she closed her eyes, trying to calm her body from the shock it had just experienced. Normally if a student had come to her with similar issues, she would’ve asked about sex, protection and the likes, because it would be one of the first signs of pregnancy. But with her, that simply couldn’t be the case. She’d only had sex last night, and before that, she hadn’t had sex in something like half a year or so. Besides, she was on the pill, not that it was a certain guarantee of anything, but still. The mere fact that she sexually couldn’t be suffering from morning sickness already, completely erased that possibility, so what was it? Then she heard Leo’s voice and her eyes fluttered open to see him. She smiled weakly at him as she took the glass, shaking a little. She would calm down in a bit, but right now her body was still adjusting. “Thanks,” she said hoarsely before taking a big gulp of the water, closing her eyes as it soothed her aching throat and made her breathing much smoother.

Her eyes followed him as he poked his head out the bathroom door and she wondered who was knocking. Probably either Vince or Keirol. If it was important, Leo would merely take care of it. She wasn’t helpless after all. She could handle herself and she didn’t want him forsaking his Academy merely because she couldn’t keep her dinner down for some odd reason. Her ears perked when she heard Vince’s voice, wondering what he wanted. She frowned slightly as she thought it over. He’d probably felt the emotional explosion between her and Leo. She sighed, shaking her head a little. She’d have to talk to him about that. What if they’d still been arguing? All in all, she didn’t want Vince coming by every time Leo and she had a blow-out, because she knew there would be more to come. Fine that he hadn’t tuned it out; he couldn’t help his powers any more than she or Leo could theirs, but he didn’t have to act on it. She knew he’d be understanding enough and respect her wishes on this. She couldn’t remember Vince ever being difficult in that department, which was why she loved him. As a friend, of course. Never more.

She smiled softly when Leo returned to her and she took another sip of the water, looking up at him through a veil of dark, thick eye lashes. “It’s fine,” she said, still smiling that soft smile of hers, “I’m fine. Really
I don’t know what just happened.” Truthfully, she did feel much better already, even though she had a terrible taste in her mouth, and probably even worse breath. Yuck. “Just need to brush my teeth.” She struggled to her feet again, quickly regaining her balance as she stood and went to the sink. She felt weak. Not only tired, but weak. Was she coming down with something? That was weird. She was literally never ill. Ever. Her magic provided some kind of shield, she supposed, supporting her immune defenses. She shook her head a little, trying to calm it as she took her toothbrush, adding toothpaste before she began brushing her teeth, getting rid of the vile remnants of her dinner. She’d actually puked in front of Leo. That when it hit her. This was downright embarrassing. What came next? Peeing with the door open? Gods. She shivered at the thought. What was he thinking? She glanced at him with toothbrush in her mouth, gauging his reaction for the first time since her ghastly display.

Drake Quellen

Drake laughed at Lor’s comment. Ah, this girl. He loved how she always played right along with his bullshitting. Not a lot of people had the wits to. Granted, he was good so it was understandable, but he always like a good game with an opponent who actually proved a challenge. “We could,” he said thoughtfully, grinning down at her. “But I think it would qualify as damaging school property so Scary Marinos might give us a talking to.” He wiggled his eyebrows at her and chuckled. He knew how close Lora felt to Leonardo Marinos, which was funny because the guy hated Drake. In truth, maybe that made Lora all the more appealing. It was just entertaining. In reality, Marinos had a stick lodged up his ass and Drake couldn’t help wonder what would happen if someone pulled it out. Ah hell, he had so many tongues up there it probably wouldn’t make much of a difference. Thinking of that, wasn’t Colby one of them? The thought made Drake smile. Maybe rooming with Colbs might end up pretty entertaining after all. As it was, however, he was considering how they’d swing things because the way he saw it, they were both pretty sexual guys. In different ways. Very different ways, thank you.

Drake snorted in amusement at Lora comparing gypsies to Erin, “no, I mean
that’s her power. Erin goes all Hulk when she’s pissed, and she’s got a bit of a temper.” He smiled secretively at how much that benefited him in reality. Then he laughed a little. “So yeah, I don’t think you can quite compare it, sweetheart.” Soon, she was commenting on his roommate and Drake smiled casually. “Nah, I’m good, really. It’s fine.” He didn’t mention how he was starting to consider the entertaining aspects of rooming with Colby. Honestly Drake rarely voiced his actual thoughts. He never lied either; he just withheld certain information he didn’t see fit to share. Not that people noticed. They were too caught up in his smiles and the fact that he always seemed so carefree and casual in everything he did. So they didn’t even notice. The same way they very rarely noticed that he didn’t actually give a shit about them.

He could easily narrow down the people he himself considered friends to one degree or another; Cor, Lora, Lulu, Jackson. Now, why was his sister on the list? Well, he sometimes disliked his sister to an extreme degree, but he knew she cared about him, just like he did her. They never showed it, but they did. Jackson had a stick up his ass, but Drake considered him a friend nonetheless. Maybe because Jackson was the kind of guy Drake knew he would be able to count on in a sticky situation and honestly they’d grown to become pretty good friends this last month. Lulu spoke for herself; she was Lulu, and the same could be said for Lora who he’d known for years. So yeah, considering how many people thought themselves his friends, he didn’t really return the feeling a lot. Of course, Jaysin would’ve probably been on the list years back, but then he’d fucked Cor completely up by leaving and ignoring her existence, and now things were just fucking bungled. Theo’s ex, Scott would’ve been included too, but he was dead, so
 yeah.

When Lora commented on him being Lazy, Drake merely smirked at her. “You say that like it’s something new,” he countered. Of course, Drake wasn’t usually lazy. Not really. He was the kind of guy who’d get up at 5 am in the morning just to get a good work-out before school, and he wasn’t being lazy right now either. He just frankly wanted to get the whole room-introduction thing over with so he could move on with his life. With her next comment, Drake laughed, ruffling up her hair just to show how easily he could reach. “What kind of gypsy are you, forgetting your magnifying glass? Really, Lor. What would your mother say?” He said playfully, feigning outrage at the fact, before grinning down at her. “Besides, I thought we’d already settled that you need to stop dreaming about being taller than me.”

“Strict?” Drake repeated her words about Leo thoughtfully, almost tasting the word before laughing. “That’s an understatement. He’s such a rule-rider, it’s almost embarrassing. He’s going to have his work cut out for him now that all these idiots from Noctrem are moving in, though. My sister and her bitches are going to be hell to deal with while they get settled in, for instance. Now, they’ll need to establish their little social order for real, and it’s going to cause trouble because those chicks want to be on top.” He shook his head, smiling wryly before giving her a half-concerned look, “better stay out of their way for the next couple of weeks, love.” It was a rare show of affection from Drake. Mostly because it was genuine; not faked in any way. He actually was worried about Lor now that she was staying with Erin, and he knew Cor didn’t like his little gypsy friend. Never had. He didn’t want her getting hit in the crossfire, so to speak. Not that he didn’t know she could handle herself, but compared to some of these girls, Lora’s control of her magic was shady at best.

With Vince not replying to him, Leo turned his attention back on the beautiful brunette who needed him most. He felt bad for snapping at her moments ago, when she had been feeling sick like this. Amy hadn't told him that she had been feeling sick, and he wished he hadn't acted that way towards her. At least she was drinking the glass of water that he had given it - it was something, at least to have back in her stomach, something to line it once again. Keeping a stomach completely empty after throwing up was one of the worst things, he had found, and water was one of the most refreshing things. His eyes were still filled with worry as he crouched down on the floor next to her, brushing a stray piece of hair back off of her clammy forehead. What had caused this illness of hers? She had been fine...

"No, I don't either." He repeated, his voice soft, mirroring the smile that Amy was putting onto her face. It did make him smile, knowing that even after being sick, she would do her best to look happy and smile in front of him. Leo practically jumped up from his position as Amy struggled to stand up, his arm coming to wrap around her waist, being careful not to put any pressure on her stomach. He didn't want her falling over, and would be by her side for as long as it took for her to regain stability once more. However, it didn't take her very long, and soon, the immortal male was letting her go, allowing her to move over to the sink. He followed her closely however, keeping a watchful eye on her. His worries still hadn't left his body, and his expression was a mixture of confusion and care. His Amy was never ill, and if she was, she would just heal herself upon learning about it, wouldn't she? There had to be something that had upset her stomach - something out of the ordinary.

The only thing out of the ordinary that had happened, was that the two of them had slept together for the first time the night before, but that couldn't have anything to do with it? Unless it was the strange sensation of it, put together with the lack of sleep? Yes, that had to have something to do with it - the lack of sleep! Leo soon realized that he was standing there like a gormless idiot, pondering over the reason why his girlfriend had been ill, with the stupidest look on his face. He stood up properly, moving to once again place his hand on her side.

"Do you think it could have been the lack of sleep? A disruption to your usual sleep pattern?" He asked her, his head cocking to the side like a puppy-dog. "Shit, I need to get ready... I'm sorry to rush you baby, I really am. But... we need to get ready for the assembly." He spoke softly, pressing his lips to her cheek, his eyes changing from serene worry, to alarming panic. "Do you want me to leave so you can shower? I'd rather not leave you on your own though."

Miss Amy Roerig

Amy loved how Leo was there to support her wobbly body, like she was a fragile porcelain doll. No one had ever treated her like that
maybe because she didn’t usually accept it. In fact, Amy tended to find it a little degrading that people assumed her to be so brittle merely because her power wasn’t destructive, or because she was a fundamentally good person
or the worst one; because she was a woman. But with Leo, she found herself loving it. She liked being ‘the maiden in distress’ with him, and only him. It made her happy because it only showed her how much he loved and cared about her, even though he had yet to say the words.

Then again, she hadn’t told him that she loved him either. She would, though. Soon. She was just
waiting for the right moment. Maybe later today, maybe in two days, maybe in a week. She didn’t know, but she wanted it to be perfect. A moment to be savored and remembered. Well
if he said it back, of course, but she had a feeling he would. So she leaned on him, using his firm form to gain proper balance for herself, knowing he was there for exactly that purpose.

Soon, she was brushing her teeth, glancing at Leo with her toothbrush in her mouth, worried about him being grossed out by her. He didn’t look disgusted at all though. In fact, Leo looked like he was currently trying to solve the most complicated of riddles, his eyes sort of staring off into the distance, the way they usually would when her Leo was deep in thought. She smiled a little, despite the toothbrush in her mouth. She had been thinking silly thoughts again. Leo didn’t care about this stuff; he was only worried about her. He would never scrunch up his nose in disgust at a little vomit. What on earth had been funding those thoughts? Gods, how she loved him. Even the silly look he sported right now.

She shook her head a little, happiness lighting up her eyes against as she turned to the sink to finish brushing her teeth. Just as she turned the faucet on, spitting out the toothpaste remnants to mix with the clear substance, Leo spoke again, his hand on her side. The feeling of his large, callused hand on her, calmed her insides. How that worked, she didn’t know, despite her fairly significant knowledge of the human body and its functions. She just didn’t have a proper explanation for the healing effect Leo had on her. Maybe her powers were given a sort of kick. That actually made sense since they were tied to her emotions.

She smiled up at him after his suggested explanation. “I don’t think so,” she said, mulling it over all the while, washing off the toothbrush before putting it back in its place, “it’s only one night. The body is able to handle that without much trouble. It shouldn’t affect me like that. But
it was brief. It’s passed now.” With her last sentence, wonder entered her tone. She truly was curious. Then again, she supposed there was no sense in pondering it too much right now. After all, it had only been this one time. She watched as his eyes transformed, suddenly taken over my panic. Was it that late already? She frowned a little as he began speaking of them having to hurry, her head cocking to the side a tad. “I know, I know,” she said calmly, turning a little to look at him fully, her one hand coming up to cup his cheek. Man, was she glad she’d brushed her teeth. “Don’t worry. We’ll make it.” Her smile grew a little, her eyes fluttering closed when his lips touched her cheek, that familiar spark flowing through her. Even now, after a full night of lovemaking and then throwing up, Leo’s touch on her skin was still enigmatically amazing.

Then he talked about leaving her to shower and she opened her eyes to slits, peering up at him before another smile touched her lips. A wonderful, blissful and loving smile. She ran the thumb of the hand on his cheek, over his cheekbone, her violet eyes finally opening fully. “No, don’t leave. You need a shower too, right? Though I feel fine. It’s completely gone. I’m all healthy already.” She said, reassuring him. “So, no need to worry.” She removed her hand from his face only to use both hands to untie her robe, easily shrugging it off. Amy had always felt comfortable with her body, and with Leo, that only increased. He made her feel like the most beautiful woman in the world.

“Shower with me?” She asked him while reaching down to remove the towel around his waist, letting it drop to the floor with her robe, a slightly mischievous smile coming onto her lips, “it might even save us some time.” She then let her hands dance up his chiseled torso, kneading the firm muscle under the perfect skin. “We should probably save playtime in the shower for later, though. I think we need more time.” Besides; she still felt weak. Not that she felt a need to worry him with that information. At those last words, Amy grinned, a playful glint in her eyes, taking Leo’s hand as she guided him to the shower with her, then switched on the water, gracefully moving out of the way of the stream to avoid the cool temperature. It’d be a little while till it was heated properly, she knew.

Leo's face contorted into an expression of confusion when Amy shot down his suggestion of her sickness coming from a lack of sleep, but he didn't doubt her. She was, of course, the school nurse, and had a extended knowledge of health, illness and healing, due to her own gifts, and probably research. So, he just nodded, keeping his arm wrapped around her side, still not putting much pressure on it, in case he hurt her. "Well, at least it's gone now. We can hope it stays away." He smiled softly, before then, his face was changing, and the alarm and panic took over his body. Was he going to be late? Was anyone going to actually turn up? What was he really going to talk about to keep everyone interested? It was going to be an assembly about the houses and schedules - something obviously incredibly important, but something he was sure that the Noctrem students wouldn't be too happy about being forced to sit down and listen to.

"You sure you're healthy?" Leo asked her with a mischievous tone, a soft smile replacing the scowl on his face for a few brief moments, mirroring her own beautiful smile. The hand on his cheekbone obviously calmed him down ever so slight, any sort of touch from her soothing any sort of worries that he had. How she could do it, he had no idea, but he loved the feeling of it. then, her robe was being shrugged off, falling to the floor, followed closely by Leo's jaw. Her body never failed to cause him awe; Amy was just so beautiful, so confident, and so... his. Then, his own towel was being dropped onto the floor, revealing his own private area to the room once again. Both of the male's arms came to wrap around her waist, pulling her naked body further towards his own, skin touching skin.

"Really? We have to put it off?" The immortal male pouted childishly, before he was being pulled into the water, his body being the one to be covered in the cool water, his girlfriend being smarter, moving out of the way. The male practically yelped as the freezing water hit his skin, trying to move quickly out of the way of the water, but having nowhere to go, seeing as Amy was there. By the time the water grew hotter, Leo's expression had changed into one of a playful smile, turning to face his girlfriend with a mischievous, crooked grin. "You're going to pay for that."

"All students to the Great Hall please, assembly beings in five minutes. A reminder than any absentees will result in punishment."
Leo placed the tannoy phone back down on it's holder, this one not in his room however - it was just underneath the podium stand in the hall, the one that he was currently standing behind. The headmaster was wearing a classic outfit of his, a smart shirt, tie and jeans, disliking the feel of suit pants again his legs. There were chairs set up throughout the hall to accommodate for all of the students, a few already being seated, and chairs behind him for all of the teachers. Now, he just had to wait for the rest of the students to arrive; if they hadn't in five minutes, he was going to start anyway, punishing those who didn't turn up.

Image

"Ellie is doing okay, thank you." The petite brunette girl smiled to her friend, nodding her head softly. "She has a little bit of a headache due to everyone moaning, but other than that, she's doing well." Ellie smiled to Izzy, before the headmaster's voice was being projected all around the room. She hadn't realized that there was going to be some sort of assembly that day, and she was curious as to what Mr. Marinos could be wanting to talk to everyone about. She was sure it had something to do with the arrival of the Noctrem students, but that couldn't be all - they had been studying there for about a month now. The girl could have focused in solely on her headmaster's voice, however, decided again it. Having to sit in a sea of students would be hard enough for her to get through, without already having the added pressure of a previous headache on top of that.

She was quickly snapped back to the conversation at hand however when Izzy spoke again, asking about going to get something to eat first before the assembly, and if she wanted to hear him play some of his music. The girl eagerly nodded at the second suggestion, smiling at the idea of hearing him play guitar once again. "Oh, I'd like that." She spoke, her grin stupidly spread over her face. "I love hearing you play." The girl's face grew a little red as she spoke, realizing how stupid she had sounded just then. She sounded like a love-sick puppy pining over the man of her dreams, and she quickly laughed it off, changing the subject as rapidly as possible.

"Roommates? Oh yes, I forgot about that." She spoke, her eyes drifing off for a moment as she thought about who she would like her roommate to be. With her constant need to keep things tidy, she hoped that her new roommate would be accommodating to that, keeping their things tidy and what not. If not, she didn't know how she was going to survive. However, before she could dwindle on the subject any more, Leo's voice was coming over the tannoy again, saying that there was now five minutes until the start of the assembly. "Five minutes? How long have we been talking?" Ellie's voice was filled with concern as she slipped on the nearest shoes to the door of her room, not pausing to check what she looked like. "Come on, Izzy." She squealed, taking her friend's hand and pulling him in the direction of the Great Hall. "We can have a quick look at our roommates on the way! Let's go!"

Jackson just grinned as Lulu complimented him, calling him heaven on legs. "Oh, I know." He playfully said back, the Irish accent in his voice coming through thicker and thicker with every passing moment. The coffee was a delight, the male having had a late night before due to his nightmares returning, the high caffeine drink pulling him up out of his slightly tired state. He watched the blonde in front of him carefully, watching her reaction to the coffee that he had gotten her. He wasn't sure if her tastes had changed since the last time that the two of them had been together, but seeing the smile on her face only reassured him that it hadn't - she still liked her coffee the same way as always, and he had gotten it right.

After asking her about drinking too much alcohol, Jack leaned back in his chair, nodding slowly at her reply. Oh, so she hadn't been drinking? It had been a power hangover. "I hope it all works out." He spoke quietly, taking another sip of the hot drink in his hands. He knew that Lulu had the potential to be one of the best students that she could be, her power being extremely dangerous in the wrong hands - but she wasn't one for using it for evil doings. He knew how much she also disliked her power, due to the way that she was exploited as a child, but he couldn't see any harm in her helping Cain Montgomery out - the man had just lost his school. "I reckon it'll work." He smiled softly, putting his cup back down on the table in front of him - it had been beginning to burn his hands.

"Do you know, I have no idea. This is the first that we've heard of it either, so it's all news for us too. We don't have many assemblies either - but it can't be due to just the arrival of you Noctremers." Jackson shrugged his shoulders as he spoke, being as confused as the girl in front of him about why there was going to be an assembly. However, his mind was quickly moved on from that as an idea popped into his head, something that made the male's eyes sparkle with joy. He liked helping people, especially those who were close to him, and Lulu was one of the dearest people in the word to him. "Give me your hand, for a moment." He smiled, holding his palm out on the table for her to take. Once he had her hand in his, Jack closed his eyes, and took in a deep breath. It was a rare sight when the male used his powers, as he didn't like taking in other people's emotions - but with Lulu, he could make an exception. As he focused on the pain that was in her hair, and the tiredness in her body, Jackson felt it moving. He felt the pain slowly being dulled in her mind, and being replaced in hers, as well as the sleepiness that she was feeling.

Within two minutes, Jackson had transferred her pain over to himself, wincing slightly as it came to full fruition in his head. "Jesus, Lu. Maybe you shouldn't push yourself this far again." He groaned, instantly picking up his coffee again. He hadn't noticed that Alli had walked past as he had been transferring Lulu's pain over to himself, being in the "zone" he used his powers, and he felt extremely groggy and too tired to even ask what the note in front of her was. The male's head felt like it was going to explode as the loud voice of Leo took over the tannoys again, and his expression turned into a grimace until the voice had stopped. "Come on, let's get this over with." He forced a smile onto his face, opening his eyes up once more, looking at her. "Allow me to escort you?"

Miss Amy Roerig

"You sure you're healthy?" Leo said, making Amy laugh softly, shaking her head at him. “Don’t even start, Leonardo Marinos.” She scolded good-humoredly, smiling a playful little smile. Honestly she was just happy that she’d lessened his worries a tad. This man was going to end up stressed out by the time these Noctrem kids moved out again, if he didn’t learn not to worry so much. Fortunately, Amy wasn’t the kind of woman who was easily stressed out. Really, she was quite calm most of the time and it had a tendency to affect people, and she was going to do her best to help Leo through this situation, in whichever way she was able. Soon, Amy was removing her silk robe, not able to stop herself from grinning happily at the way Leo was staring in awe and surprise at her now naked form. She wasn’t entirely sure if he was staring because of her action being so new to him, or because he liked what he saw, but she had a feeling that it was a mixture of both. The way his eyes had widened, his lips falling apart
well, she loved it. She’d hoped it’d have such an effect.

When Leo drew Amy into his arms, her entire body melted on the inside, magma replacing every organ as heat welled up inside her, and she looked up at him, her eyes glowing with her body’s reaction to his and she snaked her arms up his neck, laughing when he then commented, the cutest, yet sexiest pout on his face. She was tempted to just give in to the heat in her body and the electricity drawing them closer to each other. Besides, playtime in the shower with her Leo did sound incredibly tempting. But that’s what he was; pure temptation. He drew her with his every word, every movement, every touch, but they truly didn’t have the time for this. She didn’t want Leo to be stressed once they stepped out of the shower because they couldn’t control themselves. He, of all people, simply could not be late for the assembly and he’d absolutely hate it if he was. Rules, discipline and order were things Leo valued quite a bit, and even the fact that he was breaking his own rules to be with her, was a testament to his love for her. So smirking at him, she said, “I’m afraid so, my love,” before taking him with her into the shower.

The young nurse couldn’t stop herself from laughing joyously when Leo got a cold shower for a few seconds there. His expression paired with the yelp was just too hilarious. He looked like a soaked puppy-dog, for god’s sake! The two and a half millenniums old, Spartan warrior, looked like a drenched puppy. It was just too priceless, so Amy, standing there, safely temperate and dry, kept right on laughing. Oh, wasn’t that just typical Leo? Okay, so technically it was her fault, but that only made it more hilarious. “I think you need a bigger shower,” she laughingly choked out. With Leo’s expression changing and the water heating, Amy’s laughter slowly died down to the rare chuckle and she wiped off the odd tear from laughter as he smiled that mischievous smile of his, finally saying something. She flashed an innocent smile his way before stepping into the water with him, her arms moving to wrap around his neck once more, “am I?” she said playfully in feigned thoughtfulness before her smile grew into a grin and she pushed him up against the wall. “Bring it, baby.” She said, her voice full of playful dare. Then her lips finally met his.

After showering, Amy took her time dressing in this, knowing that she and Leo would have to keep up pretenses of not practically living together, as much as that was killing her. As a slight punishment she let Leo watch her put on a quite daring set of lingerie. Maybe that was cruel of her; causing him distractions today of all days, but to be fair, he distracted her all the time, so it wasn’t all that terrible. Besides, Leo could handle it. She hoped. It wasn’t like she’d ever tried this before, considering how they’d only just made love for the first time last night, so she was just going on instinct. She let Leo leave before her, brushing and drying her hair, adding make up then before heading down to the Grand Hall, her heals clicking rhythmically with her steady pace. On her way, Amy heard Leo’s second announcement of the day and smiled to herself, imagining him by his trusty podium stand, worrying over nothing, probably also steeling himself for the amount of detentions he’d be issuing.

She easily slid through the main doors, noting that a couple of students were already seated, and the young teacher smiled up at Leo, knowing he’d notice her, and walked easily up to the chairs arranged for the teachers right behind Leo. She stopped by him to softly add a little, “relax, Leo. Breathe. There’s nothing to worry about.” Then she gave him a soft, caring smile before walking past him to seat herself in one of the teacher-seats. It was hard sometimes, acting the way they had when they’d been ‘just friends’ a week ago, because they were so much closer now, but she dealt. Sort of.

Kali shrugged when Eden said “Uhh..Sorry Kali. I have no clue.” “Well I guess I will meet her soon enough, I wonder if she likes to do any reckless things” she smiled when Eden said he would sit next to her. As Eden’s arm went around she smiled, it felt like just a natural thing to Kali and she usually didn’t allow anyone else to do this but Eden was her closes guy friend she had at Arcana, Eden know almost everything about her
except for a lot of her past. No one knew about that though maybe someday she would tell Eden.

She looked behind her to see Mary and Adina, she gave them a smile especially when Adina started singing. Then saw Mary talking to Kenna, she smiled to Kenna then looked forward as she walked on. As they finally made it into the school she heard the announcement from Mr. Marino "All students to the Great Hall please, assembly beings in five minutes. A reminder than any absentees will result in punishment." She looked to Eden “well good timing for us, I wonder why this assembly is so important. I guess it could be about the Noctrem students, most likely because of them but they have been here like a month already and we have not had an assembly since they been here. Now thinking about it we haven’t had an assembly in a long time” she said as they walked to the great hall where the assembly was being held. She looked down at the clothes she was wearing, it was her running outfit and she didn’t have time to change before hand but she really didn’t care. She knew probably all the Noctrem students where dressed nicely in one way or another but it didn’t matter to her.

As she walked with Eden into the hall she tried to look for L but didn’t see her “I wonder where L is hiding
” she said as she looked around to see who else was there. She saw Izzy and Ellie over to the side and wave to the two of them “hey guys” she then moved her way down the walkway and moved in to one of the rows of seats now taking Eden’s hands in hers to pull him along the seats. Once she was in the middle of the row she sat down and looked up to Eden and smiled. She then looked to the front and saw Mr. Marinos and Ms. Roerig. She hasn’t had to go to Ms. Roerig in like a week, which is a record for her, she just hasn’t gotten into anything that would get herself ‘extremely’ hurt. She leaned back against the seat comfortably and started randomly playing with some of her hair as she sat there.

For short moment, when Lulu laughed, Drake felt at ease once more, but when she then moaned, concern return and he frowned, a small sigh emanating. He really had no clue what to do here. He couldn’t remember his sister ever letting anyone help her when she was sick, even when she those odd times let people even witness it, and his mother
well, he’d never given a fuck, just like with most others. When he saw people sick he’d usually ignore it and assume that one of their friends or whatever would come to their rescue. In this case, however, he cared, and it was a completely new situation. He was going off of movies and instinct, and was just really hoping he wasn’t doing anything too wrong. He kept a firm, yet gentle hold on her hair as he took in her appearance; pale skin, knuckles white from clenching the toilet, her face covered in a thin layer of sweat, her body tense and trembling softly. Fuck, she was really sick. Maybe the Miss Roerig could help? That’s what she was even there for, right? Aside from Philosophy, but c’mon.

He just kept tugging stray stands of her blonde her behind her ears every time one escaped the makeshift ponytail he’d created with his hand. When she finally moved from resting her head against the toilet, Drake shifted a little to give her more support as she leaned back, finally letting go of her hair with his hand to replace it with the other, and to wrap that same arm around her, resting his hand carefully on her side, making sure she didn’t fall over. She looked weak enough to, and to be honest it wasn’t like there was much room in this stall, so she’d probably hit some part of her on something, and he didn’t really think she needed to add a bruise to her already bad situation. The two words she then spoke, made Drake chuckle shortly, the sound masculine and pure sex. He didn’t say anything, though. Maybe because he was too worried about her, but at least she’d stopped convulsing too badly, and the choking sounds had subsided as well. But he still felt slightly awkward.

He looked down at her hand when it landed on his thigh before looking up at her again, thoughtful. When she answered one of his unspoken questions, Drake smiled wryly. “That’s what you were doing?” He shook his head a little, voice low as he spoke, “you can’t save the world, Lools.” He said it a little teasingly, but there was truth in the statement. Lulu had this tendency to sacrifice herself for others, and that’s really what got her into trouble a lot. A polar opposite to his own selfishness, in reality. When you thought about it, they really didn’t have a lot in common, but he definitely liked spending time with Lulu in spite of that, and she’d just grown on him. Soon, he could clearly sense a feeling of awkwardness from Lulu, something that was soon followed by an apology. He snorted in amusement and gave her a gentle squeeze. “I didn’t ‘have to see’ anything.” He merely said, leaving it at that. It was his way of telling her that he’d come for her, and not by chance, with not so many words.

At her comment about her taking his toilet, Drake chuckled, feeling completely relaxed again. He still thought she needed someone to keep an eye on her, and honestly he felt she should still see the nurse, but his worry had definitely decreased quite a bit. He raised both eyebrows when her fingers brushed the hand he held her hair with, and especially her comment caught him slightly by surprise, mainly considering the situation. His eyes roamed her face as he considered what her words might be implying. He hadn’t really thought about the possibility that Lulu might want more than just his friendship, so it was honestly a little surprising. Sure, he’d noticed looks, but her outright saying it like this made him wonder. Her blush looked so out of place on her sickly white skin and it sobered him up enough to not take her up on her subtle ‘offer’. Although, he had to admit it would have been beyond tempting at another time. And on that note, his mind began going over several other plausible situations and what he’d do to her. He definitely wouldn’t hesitate. But now? Firstly he’d be afraid of breaking her, that’s how fragile she looked to him right now.

When she looked up at him, Drake had gotten his features under control and now merely looked mildly intrigued, amused and a tad playful. So he met her eyes right on, and smiled in wry amusement. He gently pulled her body closer to his, the hand in her hair moving to her face, gently caressing the side of it, his fingers dancing from her temple to her neck as he looked her over. He leaned in, his face only inches from hers before he smirked. “Maybe later, eh?” He said playfully, teasing her both with his words and presence, his touch, his voice and even the glint in his eyes. Then he pulled back, “c’mon, sweetheart. We need to take care of that power hangover.” He noted as he stood, taking her with him, more or less carrying her weight for her. Her feet were touching the ground, but his arm, now wrapped firmly around her, more or less held her up. “You okay to walk?” He than added, thoughtfully. If she wasn’t, he was going to carry her, because he sure as hell wasn’t leaving her on the floor of a stall in the boys’ restroom. Not in this state.

Drake absolutely loved the sensitive reactions Lulu had to his touch and his presence. Sure, he knew he’d have a certain effect, and he knew precisely how to get it, but there was something special about the hitch in her breath, the parting of her lips, the way her heart sped up. Then there was body language. The way she sort of melted in his embrace, and the vibrant red on her cheeks. It livened up her otherwise pale face and he suddenly felt this extreme urge to kiss her. He didn’t, of course he didn’t – now was not the time – but he couldn’t say it was easy to ignore this pull. What the hell was wrong with him? Drake was good with women, and he knew how to get things his way, but he’d always been equally good at resisting his own wants, whenever he wanted to, granted, and now with Lulu
he shouldn’t even find her this drawing right now! She was sweaty, pale, still trembling softly. Her head was redder than anything else right now, he could tell her body barely had any energy and
well, honestly, he’d never been a “fuck in the toilet” kind of guy. Sure, he’d done it, when drunk, but other than that? Nah. Wasn’t his thing.

When Lulu spoke, her words slurred, he only made out the “by myself”-part of it, and guessed his way to the rest by the way she was weakly trying to push him away. He didn’t budge. Not because he wanted to “prove his strength” or some other macho bullshit, but because she needed his help, and she was getting it whether she wanted to or not. Besides, it’d only really been a half-hearted attempt. Drake was starting to get a good feeling of how Lulu felt, but he still wasn’t sure. The way it actually made him happy instead of just coldly amused, though, intrigued and worried him at the same time. What on earth was going on with him? “No you can’t,” he told her, the quality of her speech even, telling him that she should just take his help. Stubborn women. Huh, Lulu and Cor had something in common there, and
why the hell was he comparing Lulu and Cor? Yep, he was not getting any sleep tonight whatsoever.

A wry smile curved his lips at her reply to him asking if she could walk. He turned them around to face the door to make her path easier, before easing his grip so that she could easily step away from him, if able, and he could easily catch her, should a problem occur. “Fine,” he then said, slight laughter in his voice. He found her amusing even now. Her stubborn sassiness was incredibly entertaining considering her situation and the state of her body. He didn’t comment on her “pity”-bit. He didn’t feel a need to. Firstly, he didn’t pity her – he was concerned. Those were two very different things, but he wasn’t going to outright tell her how he felt when he wasn’t even sure himself. Of course he couldn’t be in love with her or anything equally insane. He didn’t feel that strongly, ever. Well
once, but it had been more of a stupid teenage crush if he had to be completely honest.

When Lulu moved from his arms, drake remained alert and focused on the blonde in front of him. Her gaze was unsteady and he kept pace directly behind her just in case. He didn’t much care for the way she was swaying, like her body wasn’t doing what she wanted it to. Damn it, what the hell had she been doing to herself? Suddenly she sped up, hurrying to support at the sinks, and he didn’t move to stop her. For a moment there, he’d wanted to, but part of him also felt like he had to give her a chance. However, she didn’t move, he decided to check on her, and most likely carry her to her room. He only made it a single step before her voice cut him off, and Drake sighed, turning his eyes skywards. A lot of girls would be more than happy to see this sort of care from him directed at themselves; would have adored him carrying him around like they were precious treasures, but Lulu? Lulu was so stubborn he didn’t doubt it’d be the death of her. Her begging forced another sigh from his lips and he felt himself caving in. “Okay,” he said reluctantly, “but if you fall even once, I’ll take you directly to Miss Roerig and you can spend the day in the Medical Room. “ He added in well-meant warning.

He smirked when she ended up clinging to his side just to stay upright and he hooked an arm around her waist, keeping soft body gently pressed against his firm one in a now confident grip meant to keep her erect. He chuckled when she commented on his alcohol. “Funny how people always seem unable to buy their own booze,” he dryly commented, then shook his head and began guiding her out of the bathroom. “I don’t recall ever having an alcohol-induced hang-over, so I can’t say I have a cure on that one, but a power-hangover? It’s different from person to person, but looking at you, you need a whole lot of cold water, a lot of sleep and some yoghurt, not necessarily in that order. “ Then he smirked down at her. “Of course, not over-working yourself in the first place might also help.” He said teasingly.

The assembly hadn't gone too badly, Leo had decided. There had been no shout outs, no arguments, no detentions given, and no interruptions. Well, except from Cain's meddling, of course. He was going to have to talk to the man about that; talk to him about not belittling him in front of his students. They needed to respect him, to look up to him, and if Cain was going to mess around and make him look like a fool, then Leonardo wasn't going to have him hanging around here for much longer. He had offered up his home to the man, given him another job, and had allowed all of his students to follow him here, and this was how he re-payed him? He could obviously see why he had been the Head-Master at Noctrem.

After all of the students and teachers had left the vicinity of the Great Hall, Leo finally felt himself relaxing. His shoulders slumped down, and his hands fell into his pockets, and he turned around to look down at his beautiful girlfriend, before finding himself sitting on the chair next to her. He couldn't touch her; couldn't hold her hand, or push that little strand of hair out of her face, because they were sitting here in public. It hurt, not being able to touch her, or kiss her, but they were his rules, and he was going to obey them, much like everyone else. "What did you think? I didn't do too badly, right?" He smiled in her direction, his trade-mark crooked smile coming back to sit on his face.

"Crap!" Leo bolted up right, and looked over at his Amy, his eyes wide. "I was supposed to go and find Chris before the Assembly and let him sit in so he knew everything." He groaned, quickly standing up. "I'm gonna pop over to the main office and go and get him, wanna come?" Leo held out his hand for her, only to help her stand up, before then letting go once more. Then, he started speed walking at an alarming pace, making his way towards the main reception of his school. "Chris, so sorry I'm late." His voice was apologetic, his tone dripping with it. "We had an assembly, and there were Houses discussed, and schedules were given out, and everything just dragged on a bit."

Jackson hadn't been paying that much attention as to what was being said in the assembly. He would learn about it anyway from someone else, and had only really turned up just so that he wouldn't have to suffer a detention. He had sat there, leaning back in his chair, drifting in and out of his own little dream world, a feat which was slowly beginning to cover up the pain that he had taken from Lulu. Wait... day dreaming never usually did that. As he looked to his left, his friend was slowly starting to lose colour once more, obviously gaining her pain back - that was one of the down-sides of his power; he couldn't keep an emotion for that long, and only by concentrating to the extremes when he had passed out before was he almost able to make it disappear entirely.

Then, suddenly, at the end of the assembly, Lulu was up and out, obviously feeling a little worse for wear. He thought about following her, about going after the girl who was with him throughout the worst points in his life, and be there for her in return, but he decided against that when he saw Drake moving quickly in the direction that she had dashed. A small smile appeared on his face, his thoughts conflicting. He knew how much Lulu cared about, and wanted Drake, and so she would be happy to see that he would come to her rescue. On the other hand, Drake was a fiend, someone who couldn't stay with one women for more than a night, and he wouldn't like to see the two of them together in a relationship. He sighed softly, slowly standing up from his seat. He shouldn't dwell on that fact for so long; everything would work out in the end.

Jack made his way out of the hall, and then stopped. Where was he going? What was he supposed to be doing right now? He had heard something about there not being classes today, and they were supposed to help their roommates settle in properly. Oh yeah, roommates. He should probably head over and look at the list. So, that was what he did. "Spencer, eh?" He spoke to no-one in particular, his voice hushed and under his breath. "Well that could be fun." He got along with the scientist well enough, and he was sure that the two of them would be good roommates. Then, out of the corner of his eye, Jackson spotted his roommate, and decided to head over there, to see him and ask him a question.

On his journey, however, Jack noticed who Spencer was with. "Beth..." he whispered softly to himself, his stride slowly down. He hadn't seen her around the school yet; she had obviously hidden from him when he had been near her. He looked like an idiot, standing there with his mouth agape, staring in their direction, but that didn't stop him from beginning to walk once again, making his way over to them. Just don't look at her that much, Jackson. Just stand there, and be cool. But how could you be cool when you looked at someone, and all you saw was the eyes of your dead daughter?

"Hey, Spencer." Jack's voice was quiet as he came upon the two of them, and he didn't try to say hello to Beth as well. He wasn't sure if his mouth would even move near her any more, and his eyes kept flicking back down onto her, looking at her. "So... I-I was wondering, if we could party tonight? In the hall, maybe?" His question was directed at Spencer, although, his eyes were not.

He just couldn't stop looking at her.

Miss Amy Roerig

During the assembly, Amy let her eyes roam the grand hall, observing the students, trying to get an impression of the overall opinion on this entire ordeal. Leo had spent a lot of time in his office this past week, sorting everything out, which meant they hadn’t seen each other as much as she would have like, since spending several hours in your boss’ office at a time might call on some unwanted attention. She was quite aware that some already had their suspicions, which made the matter of publicity even more urgent. Better to tell people themselves, than to have rumours spreading, and considering the students they had just let in, it was probably going to happen sooner rather than later. With that thought, Amy’s gaze went from Amber, to Drake, to Theo
people from Noctrem she could imagine finding out about her and Leo. Sure, she didn’t think Theo was a bad kid, but she dreamt about Leo a lot of the time, although she supposed the most he could grasp from that, would be her infatuation with the gorgeous headmaster. Then again, who said Theo even had an interest in watching her or anyone’s dreams?

She instantly stored away those thoughts and her gaze moved on, now resting on the house captains being announced in turn. Her heart ached for poor Ashleigh, who was going to have a very tough time being captain in her house. She could almost see the poor girl turning paler by the second. She obviously hadn’t missed the fact that she had several of the most troublesome kids to deal with; Corentine Quellen, Erin Hawthorne, and Addison Lawler. Sure, they weren’t all bad people, but they were definitely more
wild, than average. To her knowledge, Sky and Scott weren’t the quietest of guys either, but she couldn’t recall them causing any severe troubles. However, that much could change. Then came Ben as captain of Causton , and well, Amy couldn’t really see that lasting long. He wasn’t exactly the most school-invested kind. Then came Bethany, and Amy felt a soft, unnoticeable sigh emit from her lips. That girl had to figure out herself and feel comfortable with that, able to take responsibility for her own life before she could start taking charge of anything else.

When Leo drew out Drake’s name for captain of Tyms, Amy’s eyes widened slightly, her gaze landing on said male. He looked more or less completely indifferent. Thinking about it, maybe Leo should have just decided on captains to make sure no disasters were chosen. The way it looked to her now, none of the captains were ideal. Her eyes hopped back to Leo, noticing his rigidity, the way his shoulders were shrugged back tensely, his usual smile abandoned in favour of an edgy line, his features drawn tight. Watching him, she felt glad they’d somewhat resolved their argument from earlier, because she couldn’t even imagine how he’d be feeling if he’d had problems with her to top off the day. What had she been thinking, even starting the argument this morning? She knew, yes, the dream, but she still felt like mentally kicking herself. She wondered what he was s nervous about, though. Her Leo was usually such a confident man, although she suspected a situation like this one would bring anyone to the edge.

Later, occupied by watching the throng of students and teachers leave the assembly, and especially seeing Lulu rush from the hall, Amy didn’t even notice the fact that Leo had turned towards her, or even sat beside her, so when he spoke, she almost jumped, her head snapping around, eyes wide in surprise before she registered the voice, followed by her eyes finding the most beautiful man she’d ever laid eyes on. Her lips curved into a smile filled with warmth at his question, and especially in reply to the vibrant smile he was casting her way. “Well, you definitely need to unwind some,” she said teasingly, a glint in her eye telling her precisely how she’d like to do that, before continuing, “but yes, you di-“ Before she could finish the sentence, Leo was cursing, the abrupt speed of his movements almost making her head spin. She blinked a couple of times, finally closing her mouth when he began explaining. Ah, yes, the new teacher. She remembered Leo talking a bit about a new teacher. He hadn’t told her much, and she hadn’t really asked. More pressing, Noctrem-related matters had been more important at the time.

“Ah,” she merely said in understanding before he was talking again. Leo hated being late, especially when others were depending on him, she knew that, so this wasn’t exactly helping him unwind, which she greatly disliked. Why hadn’t he told her he planned on getting Chris before the assembly? She would’ve reminded him, or at least gone to get the new teacher herself. When Leo extended a hand, inviting her to come with him, Amy bit her lip delicately, peering up at him through her dark lashes. “Yeah, sure,” she said, before eyeing his hand thoughtfully. Would it hurt her more to take it only to let it go moments later, or to not take it at all? Why did he have to do that? It’s not like she couldn’t get out of a chair herself. She sighed softly, taking his hand, feeling that same, familiar electricity, however, the sensation was brief due to the fact that Leo let go the second she was on her feet and she clenched her hand, savouring the brief contact, trying to quench the longing surging through her; the urge to hold him, kiss him, to run her hands through his hair. To see love and lust for her mixing in the gray pools that were his eyes, like last night.

When he began speed walking, Amy had to half run to keep up, but sensing his urgency, she didn’t complain like she most likely would’ve at another time. After all, it’s not like he didn’t know she had much shorter legs than he. And she did fall slightly behind, only catching up with him to hear the words, “-I’m late,” and those following. She took a deep breath to steady herself, curiously moving to the side so that she was no longer hidden behind Leo, and thereby able to see the new teacher. She took in all his features, her head cocking to the side slightly in thought. He looked familiar. Only when Leo finished speaking, did her eyes widen with realization. “Chris?” she breathed in disbelief, gaping at him. “That Chris?!” She blinked several times, then shooting an accusatory look Leo’s way, she almost squealed, “why didn’t you tell me?!” With that, a massive smile took over her features and she turned her gaze on her old friend again, the impulse to hug him causing her to rush forward and wrap her arms around him, somehow feeling like that alone would make him real.

She hadn’t seen Chris since leaving Arcana all those years ago, although they’d been pretty good friends. They just hadn’t kept in touch, truthfully, maybe because she’d, you know, gone to war and all, so she had only kept contact to her closest family. Thinking about it, their current lack of communication was probably her fault, but damn, was it good to see him again. “You look old,” she murmured playfully. She remembered teasing him about how much older than her he looked, despite the fact that she was actually the oldest of the two.

Drake Quellen

Drake almost chuckled at the blush coming onto Lulu’s cheeks, wondering in which direction her mind was taking her. Something told him it probably wasn’t entirely child-friendly, and the urge to tease her about it became nearly overwhelming. She was just so
susceptible, not that most women weren’t, but Lulu in particular could be very fun to play with, he realized. Why hadn’t he ever thought about that before? Well, if was definitely changing now. He wanted to see that red in her cheeks a lot more and he was going to strive to get it, because what Drake wanted, he procured for himself, and if there was one thing he could do, it was charm a woman out of her panties. But did he want to do that to Lulu? He mused it over. Why the hell did he ever give a shit? Normally he wouldn’t have given it a second thought, because it would be entertaining, but now he found himself wondering if she would be hurt when he left her after sleeping with her, considering if maybe he would be going too far. After all, she was a friend, one the few he actually had. Inwardly, Drake’s mind battled itself, but outwardly he maintained is usual, easy stance. It was something he’d taught himself to do quite well.

Soon, Lulu was rubbing her eyes as if trying to clear them, commenting on his slightly reprimanding words. A wry smile pulled at his lips, “ yes, that much it obvious,” he said teasingly. Yep, he was back. He wasn’t really worried anymore. She’d be fine, but
he still didn’t understand this odd need to help and take care of her. Shrugging it off, he guided the blonde on his arm out of the men’s toilets. When he noticed the three guys giving Lulu looks, he merely raised an eyebrow in their direction, as if saying, “got a problem? Take it up with me.” Drake might not be the violent type, or the kind of guy to go headfirst into trouble as such, but he wasn’t one you wanted to mess with, and his entire demeanor screamed as much when he wanted it to, which he did in this case. He relaxed a little once the guys scurried off; obviously deciding whatever they thought of Lulu wasn’t worth any actual trouble over. When Lulu spoke, Drake’s eyes found her once more and another sly smile came onto his face. “Showers, eh?” He teased, his eyes glinting with wicked thoughts. Then he just chuckled, shaking his head. “In your bathroom,” he then finally told her.

They both grew quiet then, Drake taking care to be entirely sure she wasn’t going to stumble and hit the floor with her nose while he could do anything to stop it. After all, the floors didn’t deserve that kind of violence, right? Oh, who am I kidding? He asked himself, inwardly sighing, I don’t actually want her to stumble. But again, that made him wonder why, because there was always at least slight entertainment in people falling over their own feet. And sure, he realized Lulu means something to him, but did that mean he had to go all protective super hero? Damn it, that really usually wasn’t his style. He’d begun growing irritated with himself when Lulu spoke again, and he completely disregarded earlier thought, a devious smirk curving his lips. “Help?” He murmured, his voice deep and seductive in itself as he looked down at her. “Could be arranged.” He deliberately let his eyes roam her body. How was he supposed to try and have morals when she kept tempting him like this? Women.

Her next words made him chuckle, wicked, dark brown eyes once more giving her body their undivided attention. He easily held on to her as she half stumbled, not even stopping in his track. He had a good hold on her, and she wouldn’t be hitting the floor. All she had to do was regain her balance, and as she did, her next words following, he grinned sinfully at her, his eyes intense, his entire demeanor completely in flirt-mode. Drake pulled them both to a stop only to skillfully turn them around and gently press her slight body up against the wall, both his arms winding around her waist now, so that his heat was completely enveloping her, even as his body trapped hers between it and the wall. He leaned down, his lips brushing against her ear as he murmured seductively, “now, what’s the fun in keeping our clothes on?” Of course, it wasn’t like Drake was actually going to have sex with her. Obviously, she wasn’t in a state capable of satisfying him properly anyways, but playing with her right now was extremely entertaining for some reason.

If he was going to fuck Lulu, it was going to be done right, and not in some stupid situation like this when she could barely walk by herself. Not that he was going to fuck her at all
right? Yep. Friend. He’d sort of told himself not to fuck the few people he considered friends, but in that case, he really needed to stop befriending hot girls who wanted him, because it was making his life damned complicated. Again, it wasn’t like Drake couldn’t resist and keep his dick in his pants, but he was starting to think he’d really rather not. Hell, maybe that was just because he hadn’t had sex in a while. What had it been? Two? Three? Weeks. Keeping your sex-life alive when he were rooming with Cor in some motel, proved to be harder than you’d think. Thinking about it, he felt pretty sure last time had been with Erin, because Cor actually left when it was her. He suspected it had something to do with the fact that Cor knew what kind of role Drake played in her best friend’s life.

Maybe he should exert some kind of revenge on his sister. Manipulation was a gift of his, and he could definitely use Jay in some way, but then
would using Jay be a bit too cruel? He and Cor didn’t really try to make each other miserable. Sure, they bickered like cat and dog, and they most definitely had a lot of differences, but they were still family and in some incredibly fucked up way, they did care about each other. Despite the fact that living with her had been hell. Good luck to Lauryn, was all he could say.

Morgan Janssen

Morgan's eyes opened as Panic! At The Disco's Intermission started to play on her iPod. The dance music woke her up and sharpened her senses. Voices came from another part of the forest. As she clambered to her feet, the one lyric of the song played in her ears.

Ladies and gentlemen, due to circumstances beyond our control, we are unable to continue our broadcast of dance music. We shall continue now with our piano interlude.

The piano almost put her back to sleep, so she slipped her iPod out of her pocket and skipped onto the next song.

She paints her fingers with a close precision...

She wasn't quite sure what to do next. Swimming seemed like a good idea, but she couldn't be assed to have to go up to her room and change. Gym also seemed like a good idea, but again, she wasn't really dressed appropriately. Lauryn and Alli would be hogging the dance studio. She grabbed her book from the ground and started to head back inside.

He starts to notice empty bottles of gin...

The grounds seemed to be infected with Noctrem. Already the day seemed... darker, even though the sun was shining as bright as ever. The lawn was littered with cigarette butts, and the stentch of tobacco hung in the air. Something needed to be done about the smoking. But nothing probably would be done, because the detention master also smoked. He wouldn't book anyone for smoking, especially not his very own students.

And takes a moment to assess the sins she’s paid for..

Mo appreciated the generosity that Mr Marinos had shown towards the Noctrem students. But she sometimes wondered if it had been a good idea. On a practical level, there was much more of a strain on resources. And they caused so much stress to the other students.

She was at the main entrance at this point, and headed upstairs to her room. Sliding her iPod from her pocket, she set it on it's docking station. Selecting Paramore's Hello Cold World, she pressed play and began to sing.

I feel happy, I feel sad
I feel like running through the walls...

Zac Barnes

The motion of strumming just felt natural. Once, he would have had to concentrate on the pattern, the chords and the timing. Now everything came together like it was completely natural. His fingers started to play Linkin Park's Leave Out All The Rest. It was a song he could kind of identify with. He could relate with wanting to leave only good memories behind and for everyone to forget the bad. But, of course, Zac could make that happen.

Suddenly a twig snapped behind Zac. His strumming hand stopped abruptly. His hand tightened on the neck of the guitar. He looked over his shoulder and grinned. He left his guitar on the ground and scrambled to his feet. "Ashy!" He said, hugging her. "How's my little prefect? I don't care what-" Zac frowned at her. She definitely wasn't happy. His mind whizzed back to the assembly. And he suddenly remembered why she was so upset. "Oh, yeah. You've got several of the Fearless Five in your house. Aw, sweetie, don't worry. You can get them in trouble and I'll make them forget. Or I've got a decent supply of cymbals." Even though I'm saving them for Sky. He hugged her again and went back to his guitar. "Come on. Music makes everyone feel better. Any requests?" His fingers tapped the frets, while the fingers holding his pick tapped it against the body of the guitar.

Ashy and him had bonded almost instantly. He was always the one who stood up for her. He was the one who she went to when she needed to talk. And she was the one who stood up for him. When he shouted and screamed at someone and they jeered him, she would defend him. She was clueless of the horrors that haunted him, but Zac liked it that way. Especially now with Cor and her cronies in Ashy's house. She didn't need to be worrying about what had happened when Zac was ten or twelve.

"Dad?" A twelve year old Zac came down stairs with a notebook clutched in his hand. Jon Barnes looked up at his son. He had a bloodied nose and was scared. "Not now, son." Zac looked at the clock. "But it's gone ten. I have to have this maths homework in first thing tomorrow." Suddenly a man burst in. He was as skinny as hell, but looked dangerous. "If you don't get out now, you won't ever hand in that homework." He warned, a sinister grin crossing his face. Zac turned and ran upstairs. But even from his room, he could hear the man beating his father.

"OW!" Zac's pick had snapped in his hand, splintering. "Shit, that hurt." He said, picking the shards from his various scratches. "Serves me right for using slim picks." He sincerely hoped that Ashy hadn't responded during his flashback as he rooted in his pocket for another pick. His hand was bleeding, but not that heavily. Picks didn't usually splinter, but that particular one had been cheap. Still, the blood might get all over his strings. So he found a tissue and wrapped it around his hand and smiled at Ashy. "Sorry. Guitarist problems."

Chris Russell

The awkwardness didn't lessen as Chris sat there. Students stared at him as they passed. Some seemed to vaguely recognise him. He ran his fingers through his hair nervously. It was starting to get long again. While it was now dark, where as it had been blonde when he had modelled, it still made him slightly more recognisable. He smiled with relief when he saw the Headmaster approaching. He stood, eager to get away. "Chris, so sorry I'm late. We had an assembly, and there were Houses discussed, and schedules were given out, and everything just dragged on a bit." Leo said apologetically. He was about to reply when he was attacked by the pretty brunette who had accompanied him. It suddenly dawned on Chris who she was as he awkwardly returned the hug. "Amy?" He said, stepping away to get a better look at her. His face broke into a grin and he gave her a proper hug. "You haven't changed one bit! How long are you here? How are you?" He asked, ecstatic. His mind was buzzing with a million questions, but those three were the first out of his mouth.

"You look old." She murmured. He grinned. "At least I can get into bars without ID." He joked. "But, seriously Amy, the amount of crap I have been through since I left Arcana is unbelieveable. That's probably why I look so old. And the hair doesn't help either." He grinned. He then remembered the headmaster. "Sorry, Leo. I'm sure you can remember us here at Arcana together. So, am I going to get a spy style briefing? Or will it be more like an assembly?" His smile never slid off of his face as he spoke.

Amy and Chris had been inseperable for their time together at Arcana. They had been in the same year, and had been in all of the same classes. They had teased each other mercilessly but had always been there for each other. There had never, ever been anything romantic between them. Well, Chris had a crush on her for the first three months of their first year together, but he had quickly gotten over that. She had comforted him after a nasty breakup in his final year.

His phone started playing. "Just for the record, the weather today, is slightly sarcastic with a good chance of A..." He snatched it out of his pocket. "Sorry. I thought it was turned off." He checked out the text. "Oh, God. It's from my brother, he's minding my house." He said, paling.

Any good looking single teachers? Male or female. ;)

His brother was the biggest bisexual flirt Chris knew. He felt like slapping him. "False alarm." He grinned uneasily at Leo and Amy.

Piss off.

Chris quickly sent off that text and turned off his phone. "Right, so. My mission." God, that was embarrassing.

Leo stood back as Amy lurched forward, throwing herself into Chris' arms in a tight embrace. He crossed his arms over his chest, allowing the two to rekindle an old friendship. In reality, the male was holding back - he wasn't too happy with the way that Amy had throw herself at the male like that, and he actually wanted to lean forward and pull her away from Chris, taking her back into his own arms, and holding her there for his own selfish keeping. He wanted to show Chris that Amy was his, that he wasn't allowed to hold her like that again, but of course, he couldn't. He couldn't show that he was in a relationship with another member of the faculty; not in front of someone who might challenge him in that department anyway.

Was this jealousy that he was feeling? If so, Leo didn't like it, and he never wanted to feel it again. Jealousy was a brand new feeling for the immortal male, something he had never felt before, as he had never allowed himself to grow as close to someone as he had with Amy. Leo stood there awkwardly as his girlfriend spoke with her old friend, feeling like a third wheel in that moment. The first moment that he had, Leo cleared his throat, loud enough to interrupt their conversation. Once he was sure that there was going to be no more words between the two of them, he stepped forward, nodding to the male.

"Maybe you should go and settle yourself into your new room, Chris. And, no phones on in school hours, please. It sends a bad message to the students." Leo's voice was hard, and authoritative, but only Amy would be able to realize why. "It's on the second floor, through the teacher's hall and room seven. Here's your key." He spoke, pulling out the silver key from his pocket, tossing it in the direction of the male. "On that note, I must steal Amy here for a moment, as we have to discuss some school matters. Please, excuse us."

Erin was pissed. No, more than pissed. She was angry. Her blood was boiling underneath her skin, and she was beginning to shake with rage. How dare Keirol act like that around her? How dare he not acknowledge her, as if she wasn't even there. He hadn't wrapped his arms around her, the way that she had with him, or spoken to her since he had entered the room. So, she had stormed out of the room. If he had wanted to follow her, he could have, but there was no sign of him now. She was stalking through the hallways of the school, wondering what the hell she was supposed to do now. She had ignored the calls of assembly, not arriving to the event, due to the fact that she probably would have killed someone if she had had to sit there, listening to the irritating voice of Leonardo Marinos.

The girl could barely breath, as she made her way through the winding hallways of the school, not caring who she barged into, or what she moved out of the way. All she knew was that she had to get out of the confinements of the school, to escape into the forest that held her calming place, her tranquil hill where she would sit when she was feeling like this. Erin didn't see who she was walking into, her eyes were clouded with that horrible haze of red that began to take her over before she turned completely feral.

She did however, notice one of the people that she pushed past. His scent was intoxicating, his voice deep and sensual, almost calming in itself as she pushed past him. However, Drake was busy, and had a girl in his arms. She had briefly registered the girl to be Lulu, the one girl who were actually wriggling her way into the depths of Drake's heart, a girl that she hated to the core. Drake was the only person who was able to calm her down properly when she was in this sort of mood, when all she could see was red. But right now, she just wanted to escape. Escape to that one place where she knew she couldn't hurt anyone, and instead could exact her rage on the nature around her.

Quickly, Erin made her way out of the school, and expertly navigated her way throughout the forest. She was trying to push all thoughts of Keirol out of her mind, trying to ignore all of the anger that was coursing through her body, but to no prevail. She couldn't believe how angry the guy had made her, how close she was to hurting him at the moment in time. It was scaring her, feeling like this, which was why she was running away. Running away to her quiet spot, where she could calm down without harming anyone.
