Full Name: Tallulah Katherine Allen
Nicknames: Lulu, Lucky Lu, Fortuna - if she's running around anonymously.
Age: Nineteen and very happy to be nearly done with school.
Birthdate: February 21st
Home Town: Born and raised in a small town called Clinton, Washington - a small town of 984 people.
Sexuality: Heterosexual
School: Noctrem Academy on her parents insistence.
Power: Luck Manipulation - by definition: The user can cause random unlikely events to occur more often, and liable events to not happen; can endow good or bad fortune, such as breaking something actually causes bad luck, or carrying around a "lucky charm" actually causes good luck. In Lulu's case, she's capable of manipulating her own luck, whether it's getting a dice to roll on the right number or to have the right cards come up in a game to her favor. She can also manipulate the luck of others, either providing them with good fortune or repeated bad luck. She can make a person more likely to slip, for example, or to befall misfortune. When she's angry or caught in the moment, her emotions can make her powers stronger. She is limited to usage, of course. Her bad luck inflictions can last for the entirety of a day however she gets the equivalent of a hangover from such extended use - a migraine and nausea largely. She also can only manipulate one type of luck - good or bad - at a time but she can affect up to three people if she's focused and not tired. Prior to Noctrem burning down, Lulu was working on endowing objects with bad or good luck to limited success.

Fears: As a child she feared her parents disapproval, something she quickly earned and now could care less about. What Lulu truly fears is suffocation, as her brother decided it would be funny to try and smother her with a balloon as a child. She fears truly harming someone or killing someone. She doesn't like to make people suffer when she has herself so much. She's empathetic that way and the fact that she was linked to her brother's death haunts her conscience still.
Personality: Lulu is outwardly confident and independent. When speaking she can be especially bold and blunt. She's not afraid to speak her mind and can be quite sassy as a result. She is smart mouthed, as her mother calls her, and isn't afraid to toss in a witty reply to someone's snarky remarks. That said, she chooses her words selectively in that she's not the most verbose individual. Lulu is far more of a listener than a chatterbox. She is extremely selective of those she confides in. Despite her prowess with her powers and quick wit, Lulu is inwardly self conscious of how she appears to others - not in a vain physical way, but a focus on what her aura and personality exudes. Lulu is far from the bully. Having suffered at the hands of her older, and much stronger, brother for a decade before moving away from him, she would rather use her powers to make others happy, to give them a smile on a bad day or to help someone dealt a shit hand in life. She is giving and can easily find herself in the role of a protector for those weaker and younger than her. She is charming when she wants to be as well but would much rather a date by the fire than a night out on the town. She's introverted when left on her own, much preferring to read and listen to soft musics than to drink excessively. That said, when she's miserable (and she can be) Lulu can easily binge.
History: Lulu was the second child born to Richard and Priscilla Allen, arriving on a cold February 21st. She was a fussy baby from the start. While her parents were enthralled with her energy, her older brother Grayson who was five at the time was not. Gray was miserable when his mother began doting on his sister. He quickly became an angry child, far more frustrated with Lulu's crying at night than their parents. Richard and Priscilla were both individuals with powers and they hailed from a long line of individuals who had long history of impacting people's lives - negatively. Her parents were dark individuals and they had raised their son to be as well. They disliked 'mortals' without powers and felt entitled because of their 'gifts.' Priscilla was especially haughty, having spent her son's formative years explaining to him that he was better than any human. When Lulu arrived, little Gray hated her immediately. She was a squirming noisy baby with no gifts that they could see. Shortly after her birth Gray developed his powers, far different than his mother's telepathy or his father's psychometry. Gray became physically stronger, and capable of inflicting a psionic blast on anyone of his choosing. Immediately his parents and Lulu became his targets, though fortunately Priscilla was able to control Gray.
As Lulu grew, she came to recognize her brother's dark hatred for her. As she began to walk and talk he was always there to push her down and call her names. Gray was her personal bully. As she grew, she found herself without any line of defense or ability to fight back from her brother. She could call on her parents, or show her father the bruises, but Priscilla and Richard grew to look down on her. They didn't want a weak child and Gray was their little star, so strong for his age and charming to those he went to school with. It wasn't until Priscilla was eleven that her brother brought her powers out. It was Gray's 16th birthday and he was having an extraordinary party. He was seated at he high table, his girlfriend and best friends at his side, facing his cake. She wished desperately that he would trip into the two tiered chocolate mass and low and behold, he did. It continued. She would make him have bad luck with girls, bad timing, bad luck on tests in school or with their parents. Soon enough, few people found him charming. He was suddenly uncoordinated and unable to get what he wanted. Within a year he figured out that Lulu was capable of manipulating his chances and he tried to kill her for it.
It was Lulu's 12th birthday, a small family fathering. Priscilla and Richard had only spoiled Gray and she hid her powers from them. They were ashamed to think they had born a mortal daughter and as a result she was given few extra spoils. Regardless, Lulu had decorated for her birthday, made herself a cake and moved to celebrate her final year before entering teenagerhood. Then Gray showed up and pinned her to the wall in a choke hold while her parents were out getting groceries for dinner. Lulu can remember fighting for air and worse when he pulled one of her pink balloons off the wall and shoved it over her mouth. The latex popped and as she gasped for air Lulu inhaled a remnant. When it caught in her throat she was completely unable to breath as the synthetic rubber inflated and deflated with her attempted breath. When her parents arrived she was nearly blue, but she managed to force herself to throw up, saving herself and leaving her parents to witness the sadistic lengths their son would go to hurt his sibling. Lulu stood up and fought back however, doing something she was only capable of doing once in her life - she cursed him. For decades he had tortured her, gone to every length that he could to terrorize her. Over time her own anguish had built up and all at once it fueled her powers. She screamed at him, bearing down on him as best she could. The air in the room seemed to shift and Gray shrank back. Weeks later he was paint balling in the brush with friends when a mountain lion attacked them. Gray had the misfortune of landing in the wildcat's path and he was crudely murdered after nearly two weeks of close to everything going wrong for him.
Lulu's parents quickly caught onto their daughter's strengths and her father was thrilled. Instead of celebrating her, however, Richard promptly took his daughter to Vegas in order to win some quick money with her help. It became an annual trip quite quickly. They loved her powers, if only for what they could give them. If Lulu even thought twice about helping her parents, however, her mother would know. She was caught in their hands until she asked to hone her powers as they had. At 13 she was sent to Noctrem Academy, despite her intent desires on going elsewhere.
The academy was hard on her, pushing her parents' values further upon her. Lulu never acknowledged the idea that she was better than any mortal, having been treated as one by Gray for most of her life. She much preferred her lessons and private sessions with professors who pushed her to excel. With time she grew excellent at manipulating chance but with it came years of punishing values. She wanted to help people and she came to loath the school for it's core ideals with time. When the school burnt down, she knew it was her lucky day.
