Eyes of cut steel and honey-woven hair, Harvey has always caught the attention of others. His regal features are nothing short of statuesque, a strong jaw and sharp nose. His tousled blonde hair is very unassuming and boyish, however on occasion he does take the time to style it in a rather modern updo in the morning. Harvey's trapezium, mesomorphic body weighs merely 172lbs but most of which is pure muscle. His figure is fairly slim compared to some of his Ares buddies but he holds just as much muscle percentage as the rest due.

If he's not clad out in armor Harv's sense of fashion follows both his personality and his physicality. He prefers to just dress casually and has a sense of simplicity in his attire most days. Jeans and tee shirts take up most of his closet and drawers but that's not to say that he doesn't know how to dress up and make himself more than presentable when the time calls.

likes. Ironically, ever since he was a child Harvey has loved storms. There's just something about it, that's extremely therapeutic for him. He loves surrounding himself with people, granted he's a social butterfly at heart. Also an absolute sucker for french fries and chocolate milkshakes. Secretly Harv enjoys singing but this is something that he's always kept to himself. Harv actually is quite the affectionate person and loves the idea of cuddling and hand holding. He often takes long walks or jogs at night when no one else is out.

dislikes. Harvey cannot stand the thought of being late, he always has to be on time or he doesn't show up at all, which to date has never happened before. Additionally, he dislikes the taste of licorice or mint, it's just not his thing. There's nothing more Harv hates than bullies and bigots. With his experiences of being bullied as a kid he will always stand up to defend someone in need. Harvey hates the smell of cigarette smoke.

Ah, Harvey the resident 'Golden Boy' on campus. Whether you truly hate him or love him - the young man has made more than a name for himself at Argonaut. He tries so desperately to be the man his father always wanted him to be - a hero. While outwardly he's more or less succeeded at that on the inside he's nothing more than a boy wearing armor too big for him.

At camp, you can find Harvey either out on in the field running drills, practicing swordplay, or in the confines of his cabin. He's the guy who's always laughing when you see him walking down the hallway, normally flanked by at least two of his campmates wherever he goes. However, you'll never see him out at a party unless he's been kidnapped by his friends and forced to go (which surprisingly has occurred on multiple occasions). Harv's the responsible one of his friends, the 'mom' as he so regretfully hates being called. He's always there to handle it and keep them out of trouble.

Despite all of the girls that are constantly over him, he's never been known to have a girlfriend, so much so that others have even thought he was into men. To plainly put it Harvey is terrified of relationships. Not that he'd never want to have one but he wants everything to be perfect. Call him a hopeless romantic but he has never been interested in the idea of 'flings'. He's accepted the rumor that most assume he just has a 'superiority complex' because he'd rather them think that than he was some glorified man-whore like most of his friends.

When Harvey walks into a room, heads turn. He walks with an air of confidence, although in his mind he's anything but. He's an exceptionally gifted demigod, and he's number one on the field, and he's not ignorant to the whispers, squeals, and advances the girls at school make, but he's still not sure of himself.

Harvey often has trouble separating personal and impersonal situations – any situation is still an interaction between two people, after all – and any negativity from conflict or criticism can carry over into his overly critical mindset. Plainly putting it, he takes everything way too personally.

Along with his shiny exterior comes a darker lonelier interior. Harvey has always been private and very sensitive, internalizing his feelings a great deal. Much in the way that he protect others’ feelings, he must protect his own, and this lack of healthy emotional expression can lead to a lot of stress and frustration internally for him. His strong senses of duty and perfectionism combine with this aversion to emotional conflict to create a situation where it is far too easy for him to overload himself – or to be overloaded by others – as he struggles silently to meet everyone’s expectations, especially his own.

It's no surprise that all of this makes Harvey a very stubborn individual. A situation sometimes needs to reach a breaking point before he is persuaded by circumstance, or the strong personality of a loved one, to alter course and accept a solution that isn't his.

atmokinesis | As a son of Zeus Harvey is able to manipulate storms. While this isn't his most strongest or practiced ability, Harv is more than capable of generating a thunderstorm above spanning at about a one mile radius. Although it takes extreme concentration for him to maintain this making it particularly useless as a mode of combat.

electrokinetic flight | Harvey's flight is perhaps one of his weakest points. He is only able to levitate himself off of the ground a couple feet, only for a moment. However, he has gotten quite good at propelling himself forward, making him able to jump farther distances and move quicker.

electrokinesis | His most practiced and strongest ability is that of manipulating electricity. Manifesting as a hot blue light that dances across his arms Harvey's lightning seems to have a mind of its own. In his second year at camp he got a bit carried away in the Dining Hall and zapped a hole right through the wall which coined him the nickname, 'sparky'. Harvey is completely immune to electricity, he simply absorbs it much like a human battery. As for his combative abilities he can generate huge bolts and arcs of static electricity as well as send strong electrical shocks through others on contact. Perhaps most dangerously, Harvey can create his own homemade 'lighting bolts' that have enough power to smite an entire mansion to ash. Granted these take large build ups and often leave him seeing stars but even he fears this power.

brave | Harv is not afraid to take risks for the greater good, it's in the nature of his blood and character.

practical | He has always had a practical mindset and is not too much of a dreamer. This leads him to be a highly efficient individual.

swordsmanship | He has such a graceful and archaic way of fighting that makes him quite deadly with a sword. Not to mention his father gifted him a sword for his sixteenth birthday, Bolt. It’s a beautiful thing that compacts into a lightning bolt pendant - it’s capable of channeling his electricity through the blade.

good natured | Harvey is just a good human at heart, he always takes the utmost care of everyone he meets.

stubborn | Harv can sometimes be a bit of a hot-head when he's stuck in a particularly stressful situation that’s not going his way. Not to mention it’s often his way or the highway.

insecure | Constant pressure comes with many doubts and fears.

selfless | He can often care too much about others to the point where he forgets about himself.

moody | Harvey’s temperament often mimic’s that of a storm. It doesn't take much to put Harv in a bit of a mood. He tends too be a bit broody.

close-minded | He is not judgmental, but it takes a lot for him to put a large amount of trust into someone who doesn’t follow his same moral agenda.

Harvey Alan Moore was born in the middle of bustling Seattle on one of the cities largest recorded thunderstorms. Elizabeth, his mother, met Zeus in that very city during her early college years as he passed for an engineering student. She was immediately swept off her feet, never having met anyone like him before. Elizabeth fell in love, and shockingly so did Zeus. Their romance was a whirlwind and it wasn't long before Elizabeth fell pregnant. It was then that Zeus revealed his true identity to Harvey's mother. While she took the news better than most - the realistic notion that he wouldn't be around to take care of her son fully hit. Of course, Hera was never happy hearing about a bastard child and she was furious when she found out about. She threatened to kill the child if Zeus didn't cease all contact with Harvey and his mother. So with a heavy heart he said his last goodbyes and Elizabeth never saw Zeus again.

It was hard on Elizabeth to get over her feelings after his leave, it was just her and baby Harvey for a while, her little lightning bolt. That was until she started receiving mail from an anonymous persona - the envelopes filled with large amounts of cash. She knew it was Zeus the second she opened the letter. Elizabeth continued - and continues - to receive monthly penchants from Zeus. As much as she hated him leaving, there was no denying he kept the two of them alive.

Generally, Harvey was an excitable spark of a child even with the clear absence of his father. He loved his mother and was willing to do just about anything to make her happy. He was a rather energetic and rambunctious kid, but he tried to do what he was told if only to see a smile on the woman's face. Still, he didn't fail to wonder about his father or the mysterious envelopes his mother always hid from him. He had asked his mother on a couple of occasions, but seeing as she only lowered her head and turned away, he decided it was best not to ask again.

As Harvey began to fit in to the life of a normal teen there was no denying he didn't fit in. His inability to read the board, his ADHD, and affinity for the odd. Though he never realized, the occasional shock when he shook someones hand or how when he was upset the clouds began to rumble. The real problem didn't arise until Harvey decided to join football his freshman year. His mother had tried to steer him clear from any physical activity as she knew the potential he held. But Eliza was more scared of the truth. So when he protested to join the team, she silently let him go. Of course, he was a natural. Harvey's strength and athletic ability were unmatchable by his peers and it caught him many eyes both admirable and jealous.

His mother was relieved to see that his powers lay dormant at his games and after a while she began to enjoy watching her son play. It wasn't until the championship game at home in Seattle when the problem arose. Harvey had lead the team to their first undefeated season in history and were set to play the undefeated champions from the town over. For the most part the game was an all out back and forth brawl with the lead being handed back and forth between the two teams. In the last few minutes it was seeming that the opposing team was going to take home yet another championship when Harvey with an unnatural burst of speed took the ball 75 yards for a winning touchdown. For a few moments everything was blissful as his team crowded around him and his classmates rushed the field. But then in a second he was on the ground a large kid from the other team pinning him by his chest unlaying a multuide of punches into Harv's face. Then chaos ensued. To protect their teammate they fought off the player and then it soon became a large fight between both of the teams, the coaches scrambling to keep everything civil as punches and kicks flew. Harvey in a daze, blood pouring from his nose attempted to get up, a surge of anger flowing throw him as he locked eyes on the boy who had knocked him down.

In that moment Harvey was only seeing red as he rushed the kid, landing a large punch to his jaw - anyone there would've told you it sounded like a crack of lightning when contact was made. In the chaos nobody saw the surge of hot, blue electricity that flew from his hand into the kid. But Harvey did. It terrified him and he could only stare in shock at his own hand as the kid lay cold on the ground. Weeks later the doctors would be baffled as the boy had scars resembling a lightning strike, and after recovery completely lost hearing in his right ear.

Harvey was never the same after that and it wasn't long before his mother prodded him as to why, of course he thought she'd never believe him - so when his mother's face paled he knew something was wrong. After consistently pestering her for answers she finally caved and at first Harvey thought his mother was crazy. There was no logical explanation. Then one by one, everything that seemed off or strange all fell into place. He was the sone of Zeus, King of the Gods.

His mother offered to move out of Seattle, to be safe but Harvey was adamant to leave any of his friends. Although after returning back to school he was only met with weird stares and whispers of 'freak'. The rest of his Freshman year was spent in complete isolation and he fell into a season of depression. It wasn't until the day after he got out of school that his life changed.

A man appeared on his door step, and at first he looked like some sort of sales man, but after Harvey really gave him a once over he noticed that his legs were that of a goats. The man handed him an envelope stating that it was from his father, and he was here to bring him to camp. It was a strange ordeal but Harvey soon found himself packing his bags reading his father's letter over and over. The sentence, "I've never been more proud of you son" ingrained in his mind. Maybe his dad did care. Maybe.

The idea of learning about himself and training alongside others like him was amazing in his eyes and he knew he had to go. It seemed like the light at the end of the tunnel for Harvey, as he believed he had nothing left in Seattle except his mother. After some begging with her she finally agreed as long as he promised to keep in contact and he was gone the next day.
