ImagePersonality

James most definitely is not the greatest person in the world. He's arrogant, manipulative, seductive, and gets a kick out being in a fight(even if he's losing). Despite his villainous mannerism, James has a way with words and the way he presents himself that can somehow manipulate someone into believing what he says and following him. James has sophisticated way to him when he talks that makes him seem more intellectual than he actually is. He's also always there for his friends in unbelieveable ways. It seems out of character, but that's just who James is. He's loyal to a fault even when he gives you a million reasons for him not to be.

ImageBrief Background

James grew up in Shaumburg, Illinois and was fortunate enough to be adopted by rich parents. They put him in a private school and had him take private piano lessons. James was obviously different from other students and had to hold back but that didn't stop him from using his charm to practically take over the school. James was both thrilled a disappointed to learn of his assassin origins. This meant he was something greater but it also meant he had to leave behind his perfect life. Now he's here training and craving to get stronger.

Weapon of Choice
James keeps a necklace with a .22 caliber bullet on it. He uses his ability to shape it into a weapon since he can only manipulate exiting metal. He also keeps a few bullets and metal balls in his pockets to use as projectiles.

So begins...

Elysia Knight

'You must find the others before it's too late' She couldn't help but grumble to herself at the memory of those words. It wasn't exactly a hard mission to send her on, I mean if they decided they didn't want to come with her she would just throw them over her shoulder or knock them out. Although she may get charged with abduction if anyone saw what she was doing.

She felt the body go rigid beneath her grip on the Manriki chain, sighing to herself as she released the chain from around the guys neck, letting his body drop to the floor. Although the poor dude appeared dead he wasn't, he had only passed out due to lack of oxygen. Normally she would of killed the guy, but if she did the government would of known. And since they were trying to get the kids to safety as quick as possible she had no choice.
Flicking down her chain against the ground, she began to tie it around her wrist in the way of a bracelet. She began making an exit from the alleyway, sending one last glance at the pile of men laid across the ground whilst wearing suits.

Text: To Derek O'Conolly- Collecting James Landin, be around in an hour. Have the preparations read, were making a move now!

Upon sending the text, she made her way over towards a large house. The house of James Landin. Although she wasn't sure If this was his full time house, she did know that this was his residence as of the current point in time.
Looking down at her attire as she made her way towards the entrance of the house, she wasn't exactly dressed to impress. She currently had on a pair of black skinny jeans, a plain white t-shirt, her usual leather jacket and her trusty combat boots. Banging her fist against the door hard she waited for someone to answer. And if someone didn't open this door within two minutes she was going to break it down.

James had been out of town for the weekend with friends when they came. Someone went into his house and was looking for something, or possibly him. He had no idea what was going on just that his parents were gone and his house was destroyed by whoever broke in. Thankfully they didn't tke anything important and James was able to make himself a bag to leave. They did however, slash his tires in hopes he couldn't leave in anyone of the cars but the fortunately didn't know of his dirt bike that was kept in the shed.

James road his dirt bike to the city in hopes of finding one of his parents friends to find out what all of this mess was. He tried his father's work but no one knew where they were. James went down the streets on his bike dressed up in his dark red button up shirt, black vest, khakis, and dress shoes with his bike helmet on with the visor open so he could see better. James passed by a girl and a boy that were in an alleyway when suddenly he noticed a group of brutes running towards him and he had to swerve out of the way which caused him to fly of his bike and hit the gravel hard.

He stood up and noticed tears in his nice shirt and grumbled as he walked over to the two. "You owe me a new shirt." James said in a rather stuck up tone as he rolled up his sleeves to make it so the tears wouldn't be noticeable before. he looked down at his pants and saw they had dark stains on the knees now. "And dry cleaning."

'Is this guy trying to scare me?' she thought to herself with a smirk upon her face.
Looking towards the figure that appeared to be male, as she surveyed they way he was standing showing that he wasn't afraid to fight her if he needed. Little did he know that she would more or less destroy him. She noticed the shadow of a weapon, no blade or anything attached to it. It was just long and it appeared to be some type of staff, from the looks of things it appeared to be a Bo staff.

Elysia couldn't help but raise her eyebrow in question, a Bo staff required great balance and patience so it must mean he was skilled in some form of martial arts. Or he just taught himself some control. But it still caused her to wonder.
"Are you by any chance Richard Valois?" She questioned him.

She was about to take a step in his direction when another male entered the scene, although it wasn't exactly very gracious as he lost control of his bike causing him to fall off hitting the gravel hard.
Elysia couldn't help but narrow her eyes at him as he proceeded to tell the pair that they were to buy him a new shirt and pay for dry cleaning.
'Who did he think he was?!' She raised her fist readying herself to punch him, but not before recognising who he was.

"James, pay for your own stuff. Not like it was our fault anyway." She growled towards him.
Looking between the pair she couldn't help but release a sigh as she moved her hand through her hair.

Richard is taken aback that this girl knows who he is, as he tries to keep his head down as much as possible outside of the inner circles of the criminal underground "Yeah, Im Richard Valois, so who are you and what do you want?" He retorts, before another male enters the scene rather ungracefully. "Smooth as an elephant on iceskates kid." He mumbles as he turns his attention to the girl again, walking out of the shadows. "And how do you know my name?" He questions, still wondering how someone, much less an outsider judging by her accent, knew who he was?

James decided to ignore the boys comment and focus on the girl standing before him. She spoke his name but he didn't recognize her at all. He surveyed the girl for a moment and took a step towards her before speaking in his sophisticated mannerism. "Well considering you know my name but I don't know you, you could give me answers on what happened to my parents." He ran a hand through his hair to put it back in to place before smirking at the girl.

"Judging by your accent, you aren't from here..." James's line of sight went from her shoes and slowly back to her eyes. He looked at her in a way a predator examines its prey. "And your clothes suggest you aren't of upper class so you aren't one of my father's clients..." He took a step closer with the smirk still on his face. "You're a pretty girl but too young for my father's taste in women..." Another step closer. And again.

By this time he was up close and personal with the girl as he faced her. "I could guess you broke into my house and wanted something of value but then this whole scenario wouldn't add up..." He looked down and then up at her. "So tell me princess... Who are you?"

Richard Valois

Richard takes the opportunity that the other boy gave him and quickly attaches the collapses his Bo-Staff and draws one of his pistols. "Now, if I may have both of your attentions." He says loudly, as he pulls back the slide with a click and a white SUV with tinted windows stops behind him on the street. "I don't know who either of you are, but I've got things to do and not a whole lot of time to do them. So, I bid you adieu good sir, as for the lady." He pulls out a business card and places it on a trash can next to him. "Meet me there, 10pm tonight, far left of the bar, black or red dress." he says as he does a quick bow before firing a shot into the gravel between him and the other two, kicking up a cloud of dust as he bolts, hopping into the car as it drives away. "Thanks for the pickup Micheal." He sighs as the driver turns around and gives him a thumbs up. "No worries lad, you know I'm always here to help out if you get into a spot. So, to the Boss' place then?" He asks as they take the long way back to their turf, attempting to evade any pursuers. "Aye, I need to deliver the cash, and also do some thinking." He says, looking out the window as the car drives off.

Elysia Knight

. "Well considering you know my name but I don't know you, you could give me answers on what happened to my parents." James asked her.
"Well from what I can gather they were not home, since there appeared to be no struggle" She replied to him, whispering the end.

Elysia didn't know where to put herself. This guy honestly thought that she cared about class and how society worked. She was ready to beat the shit out of him as he more or less thought of her as one of his fathers women.
'Is he questioning if I'm a prostitute?!' She thought.

Her fist clenching and unclenching as the bones on her hand clicking in response. "Do you want to die a slow and painful death?" She whispered barely audible.

Most would quiver under his intense stare and how close and personal he was being. Elysia being the short arse she was looking up towards him, her face remaining stonic in the process.
"I could guess you broke into my house and wanted something of value but then this whole scenario wouldn't add up..."
Elysia raised an eyebrow up at him questioning him.
"Unfortunately that wouldn't exactly make sense as when I arrived at your house it was already destroyed." She replied.
Looking him up and down, as she tried to show she was not intimidated by him.
"Princess? Really... I'm far from that. But you can call me Elysia. She replied as she took a step back from him. Listening to what Richard proceeded to tell her. Watching as he placed the business card upon the trash can.

Shielding her eyes from the gravel as they flew up covering his quick escape. Scowling to herself as she practically let him run away.

Looks like she had no choice but to go, just meant she had to buy a dress.
Turning back towards James, Her scowl still remained on her face.
"You any good at dress shopping?" She asked seriously. As she pulled her phone from her bag, proceeding to text Derek once more.

Derek: Collected James. Will be around shortly. Will explain the situation then.

Aida unceremoniously dropped her textbooks onto the desk, ignoring the quiet thump as they landed, as well as the glare from the librarian. Did any student actually enjoy studying for hours on end? She highly doubted it. Sure there was the occasional oddball who like to gain knowledge, she was that oddball on occasion. But this much? Aida looked to the pile of books on her desk. No, no one enjoyed it this much. If they did, they probably needed serious psychiatric care. Sitting at her desk, Aida braced herself for her latest bout of studying. Not that it was really her idea, but she had to take some responsibility for her 'lack of studying' as her folks called it. She took one book from the pile. One day, she would be able to explain to them that studying wasn't something that she needed to do. She could have aced every test she had ever taken if she really wanted to. She didn't because she was sick of the attention that being Miss Brainbox brought with it. No, Aida was the kind of person who just wanted to get on with her life. No names, no special attention, nothing. Just plain old Aida Glenn who was average. She could live with average. Average didn't intimidate people.

She flicked through the textbooks, barely paying attention to the words on the page, knowing that she already had it in her to pass the test with flying colours. She would pass, she knew that, but she would have to dumb herself down. If her answers were too perfect, she could get accused of cheating. Why couldn't she just be a normal sort of smart? The kind that had to work a little bit to be good. Aida blew a lock of hair from her face. Surely she had been here for at least an hour, right? Aida tilted her head back to get a look at the clock. No such luck. Barely half an hour. She sighed, ignoring yet another glare from the librarian as she stared blankly at the pages, turning one every few minutes. She sat back in her chair. There was always the possibility that she could just go and wander around the neighbourhood. Her folks would most likely never find out, and it was certainly a lot more fun that being sat here in a stuffy library and reading books that she didn't need to read, or want to read. She put the books back on the shelf and gathered her bag up.

She walked through town, going in no particular direction, just letting her feet take her where they wanted. She heard the familiar noises of a fight going down and looked down the alley to see a boy quickly dispatch a handful of gang members and sending the rest running. A guy on a bike skidded away from the remaining gang members and another girl joined them. Aida went cold. Had she just walked in on some gang warfare? She backed away slowly and began power walking back home, trying to come up with some convincing story that didn't involve gang warfare or intentionally skipping out on a study session. She silently prayed that none of them had seen her as she continued on her way home.

James turned his head away to keep his eyes from getting hit with the gravel. "Well he seems like fun..." James thought. He brushed some of the gravel off of his shirt and noticed a piece in Elysia's hair. He then gently took it out and smirked at her. "Well you certainly are one special type of princess." He couldn't help but laugh at his own comment as he threw the piece of gravel to the ground.

He examined the card that Richard left for her. "I didn't know the mafia handed out business cards now..." James shrugged. He knew of the mafia but never really associated with them. He knew his father did for the occasional business deal. Maybe that's why his parents were missing. His father must have forgotten to pay he debts. "The prick deserves it...

"You any good at dress shopping?" James looked back over at Elysia with a mischievous sort of grin on his face. "Do I know about dress shopping? Sweat heart, you're talking to a Landin. I could turn you into a sexy Cinderella blindfolded." He ran his hand through his hair. "The first thing you'll need to do is get rid of that frown. Wouldn't want any wrinkles ruining your look." He pulled out his phone and checked the time.

"I would say you could borrow one of my mother's dresses but there's no way you would fit considering she go new assets in hopes of pleasing my father... It looks like we'll be hitting a few stores and definitely a salon to fix..." He looked her over. "Whatever this look is..." He began to walk out the alleyway. "You can call me your fairy godmother."

Elysia

Before James replied to her, she spotted a female figure from outside the alley watching in on them, reminding her there was still one more girl to collect.
Elysia shaked her head in response to James pulling a piece of hair and then referring to her as a princess again.
"Would you refrain from calling me that." She told him rather than asking him.

Her eyes lingered on the business card questioning what Richards Motive was. Although she listened to most of James insults she wasn't going to reply to them, as she knew she would throw him on the ground and possibly torture him.
"You may not like my look, but it's pratical. Not all of us feel the need to dress to impress" She replied as she followed after him sighing to herself about what she had go into.

Her phone buzzed in her pocket signalling that Derek had messaged her back. Removing her phone from her pocket as she read the message quickly replying before placing it back in the pocket.
Derek: You know where to meet

"Just so you know, we are not going to a salon. Only a store to get a dress. I didn't exactly expect to be in this situation that long." She told him, still following behind him. It reminded her that she would have to contact the big boss to let him know the situation when she had the time.

"Just so you know, we are not going to a salon. Only a store to get a dress. I didn't exactly expect to be in this situation that long." James shook his head as he picked up his bike. "Oh that just won't do, princess." He knew she didn't want him to call her that but it wasn't like he entirely cared. He found it amusing when she would get upset over it. "No godchild of mine can show up to the ball with out looking like she just came off the red carpet." He pushed his bike in the direction of his father's company. "Besides, the best way to get a man to do what you want...' James turned to look at her. "Is through seduction."

By now, they were in the parking garage of the building and James found an empty spot to put his bike. "We can take my fathers company car to my mother's favorite store. I'm sure we can find something seductive enough there and I'll be able to find something nice to put on as well." He pulled his father's car keys out of his pocket(he snatched them while he was in his office) and unlocked his father's Bentley. He held the passenger door open for her before proceeding to the driver's seat.

James started the car and responded to a text message. "Also, you're going to a salon. I already booked you with my favorite stylist. It won't be too over the top. Just something nice that will cause heads to turn when they see Cinderella." James smiled and pulled out of the garage and down the street. "So who are you exactly?" James paused for a moment. "I guess the better question is what are you."

Elyisa

Elysia was on the verge of stabbing this so called man, although she wouldn't exactly care if he died, She knew she would more than likely be in a lot more trouble for not following orders.
"There's much easier ways than that. Something called torture" She retorted, a smirk forming on her face.

Instead of arguing with him once more she decided to just sit herself into the Bentley not responding to him. She felt there was no need to argue with him as even if she did James wouldn't listen.

"Trust me, I'm far from Cinderella. Nor do I see the point of dressing up. It's a waste of time and money just to meet someone" She mumbled.

She couldn't help but smirk to herself as he asked who she was, he then proceeded to ask what she was.
"Well my name is Elysia. Which I have mentioned. And for what I am, I don't think you need to know that just yet" She giggled to herself more than anyone else, for she knew something that they didn't.

(Timeskip- James will start from the time skip. Which will be them entering the meeting place, meaning you get a choice of the place :D)

James parked the Bentley in a nearby parking garage and opened the passenger door for Elysia. "Princess." He said with a charming grin and waited until she stepped out to close the door. He walked out of the garage and adjusted the sleeves of his outfit. He looked back at Elysia. "Are you ready to make head turns?"

By now, they were standing in front of what looked like some sort of night club. It wasn't all too surprising to James that they would be meeting a mafia member here. From the looks of it, it'd be good for revenue and dealing if it was mafia owned. He wondered why Richard wanted to meet here. Was it because it was mafia owned or that there were lots of witnesses? The thought madeJames laugh.

James went up the the bouncer and handed him Richard's card. He was a rather tall man that looked like he spent way to much time at the gym and drinking protein shakes. Most likely no one would ever want to get into a fight with him but James was too confident(or rather arrogant) to be intimidated by this man. "We have a business meeting to attend to." The bouncer nodded after taking the card and let them go through. James held the door open for Elysia and smirked. "After you, princess."

Elysia

After what had felt like forever of her fighting against James of what to wear, to fighting against the beautician and hair stylist, they had finally arrived at their destination.
She released a sigh which seemed to be one she had been holding in for a while, as she stepped out the door which James had held open for her. Her black heal making contact with the ground as she stood up holding herself with some confidence.
Looking down at her appearance she couldn't help but grimace at the thought of having to fight in something like this, it was hard enough to somehow hide her knives in the dress, but how on earth was she meant to fight?

Luckily for her Manikiri chain doubled as a chained bracelet so she could get to that much easier, brushing her hand over the red fabric of her outfit she turned to James.

"Don't make me kill you" She warned him, although he probably didn't know how serious she was being.
Following after James as he handed the business card towards the bouncer, who she knew would be trouble if anything were to happen. Once they were let through Elysia immediately moved her finger to the ear piece on her ear which had been hidden to her hair covering it. Signalling her location to Derek's computer in case they need any back up.

Upon entering the bar she couldn't help but look around the room. In the middle of the room laid a dance floor where multiple people had occupied it grinding against each other, not far behind the dance floor there was a Dj, surrounded by three security guards. Looking around the rest of the room counting the number of guards and exits. All together there seemed to be about twelve guards, and that did not include any staff that could cause a problem for them.

Sighing to herself once more as she made her way towards the left side of the bar, sitting herself on the stool next to a certain dark haired boy they had made contact with earlier.
"Good evening Richard." She spoke as she motioned for the bartender to get her a drink.

Richard raises an eyebrow at the lady who walked over to him, knowing full well who it was. "Well, color me suprised. You didnt look the part to be beautified, yet here you are." He sips his drink, nodding to the bartender that he'd pay the tab.

"So, Ive got a few questions for you, but first I never got your name." He asks, looking over at James. "Huh, I thought you would be dead by now, probably by her hand, but I digress."

Placing her hand around the drink as she moved it towards her lips, raising an eyebrow towards Richard as he commented on her outfit.
"Trust me, You will never see me in something like this again" She mumbled.
The memory of her and James arguing over what she was to wear then him physically forcing her into the dress still freshly remained in her mind.

"You can call my Elysia and that will be the only name you will call me" She told him, a glare etched on her face from James calling her 'Princess' nearly every five minutes.

Looking around the area, as she tried to look for people that she may know. She was also trying to work out an exit strategy.
"Now what did you want to ask?"She questioned.

Richard

"Elysia eh? Pretty name for a pretty girl." Richard remarks as he sips his drink. "My questions are simple and my intentions are straight-forward. I may be a criminal, but unlike those gang-bangers that think they run these streets, the Mafia and I still keeps a tradition of honor alive, so you can stop looking for exit strategies now, because nothing is going to happen." He sips his drink again.

"So, I guess Ill start with the white elephant in the room: How do you know who I am, and furthermore what do you want with me? Your obviously not a cop, as cops arent allowed to wear dresses of such colors on duty because they may be mistaken for working girls." He sips his drink once again "So, your obviously looking for me for another reason, and I would like to know what that reason is." His eyes never break from Elysia's, as if they are searching for something...

Elysia

She couldn't help but bite her lip in response, this kid was good, he knew exactly what he wanted and how he was to get it.
Unfortunately for him, he wasn't with the easiest of people to get information out of.

"Well, wouldn't you like to know?" She spoke with a smirk upon her face. Taking a sip her drink as she looked over towards James who was all ready flirting with a bunch of girls.
"But unfortunately I can't tell you here. Classified information, someone will be picking us up shortly to collect us." She told him as she sent out a message on her phone.

Derek: Ready for collection, meet you behind the back of the building in ten minutes. Going to abduct the guys some how.

Her eyes lingered on the back door, only one security guard stood there. Looking back to the boys she released a sigh.
"If you want to know the truth then follow me. Now." All though her voice didn't sound completely serious, the look in her eyes showed how serious she was.

Standing up from the stool of the bar, as she downed her drink. Placing the glass back onto the bar.
Nodding to the two boys as she made her way towards the back exit of the building, glaring at the security guard as he tried to stop her from leaving.
"You lay one hand on me, and I swear that I will break every bone in that one hand" She glared up at him from under her eyelashes, even being all dolled up didn't stop her from being terrifying.
The security guard not arguing let her past the exit, Elysia stood in the back alley way, waiting for either the guys to join her, or for her ride to arrive. Whatever came first.

Richard raises an eyebrow once again "If you want to know the truth then follow me. Now." He thinks about it for a few seconds, looking into his glass before downing it. "Ah fuck it, if you want to know the truth behind things sometimes you gotta go down a path less traveled, and in this case, follow the pretty girl." He downs his glass before paying the bartender and moving out the back door. "Alright, so when am I going to learn this truth you speak of?" He asks, putting one hand on the wall next to Elysia, looking into her eyes once again.

James quickly grew bored of the conversation Richard and Elysia were having. He spotted a group of young, attractive girls and made his way casually over to them. "Ladies." He took the hand of one of the girls and kissed the back of it. They all giggled in their girly way and bumped up the charm as he continued to flirt with them and get a few numbers.

"If you want to know the truth then follow me. Now."

James' attention was brought back to Elysia and he left the group of girls. He promised them that he'd call on of them though that was a lie. He'd only hit on them for fun and didn't care for seeing them again.

He followed behind Elysia and smirked as she threatened the security guard. "You lay one hand on me, and I swear that I will break every bone in that one hand." That smirk stayed on his face as he passed the security guard. "Best not to mess with the princess." He teased.

"Excuse me?"
