Hair: Short, soft brown hair kept neat and tidy. Not once in his life has his hair ever touched his shoulders.
Build: Thick muscled frame that boast of athletics and hard work, yet a pale skin that almost makes one think he’s sick.
Eyes: Traditional grey eyes of a Jowav man.
Other: He has a long thin scar stretches from the top of his brow to midway up his scalp.

Personality

Mannerisms: Sarkhan is a quiet and submissive guy, he doesn‘t raise arguments or cause fights. He is naturally submissive, and made more so by his upbringing. More often than not, he’ll fidget while speaking, stare at the ground, or play with the string of his pendant as part of his inability to stand up for himself. His strong Jowav accent and farmer’s vocabulary only further alienates him, and makes him all the more quiet.

Habits: He has a habit of rocking from foot to foot when he is uneasy, and does so unknowingly.

Singing Style: Sarkhan sings in a deep bass.

Hobbies: Singing old field songs or the marching songs his father taught him. Reading what he can. Sculpting from rock and clay, and gardening.

Intelligence Level: somewhat below average for his age. (Not below average in intelligence, but behind in what he should have learned)

Character's short-term goals in life: Make it through the Akademiyi, making his uncle, father, and his father’s friends proud.

Character's long-term goals in life: To own a stretch of land in Trianea and live peacefully there.

How does Character see himself? A simple farmer longing to be a simple farmer again.

How does Character believe he is perceived by others? A strong singer and a farmer, at best. He is not very optimistic when it comes to other people.

How self-confident is the character? Confident in his abilities to transplant crops and rotate fields, but not in his ability to do battle in a leadership position.

Does the character seem ruled by emotion or logic or some combination thereof? Sarkhan prefers to be told what to do, and is unsure of what to do when nobody is there to give him an order.

What does the character want out of life? To make his father proud, and to uphold the legacy of his family.

What would the character like to change in his life? His profession. He badly wants to be a farmer with his own land, instead of a soldier or one who sings for the land.

What motivates this character? His urge to obey his father and his quest to make his dreams a reality.

What makes this character happy? Being in open expanses, working with stone, or caring for plants.

Is the character judgmental of others? Not really, but this can be augmented by his mood.

Is the character generous or stingy? He falls in between, his upbringing tells him to be selfish and keep only himself and his comrades alive, but his good natured side says otherwise.

Is the character generally polite or rude? Polite, when he speaks.

Personality: Sarkhan keeps to himself, and doesn’t really venture into the fields of advanced thought. He keeps things simple, and for good reason. Otherwise, in the way of personality, he strives to make other happy and to preserve honor.

History

Born: The Terleius House, on barren farmland deep in Jowav country.

Now Lives: Trianea Akademiyi

Lives With: The other students in the Akademiyi and the staff.

Relationship Status: Single

Education: Sarkhan has little in the way of education, and is not even very good at reading and writing.

Wealth: The Terleius family retains little of its ancestral wealth, and what little that still remains went to his uncle in place of his father. The one thing they do still have is the family farm and surrounding land.

Occupation: Akademiyi student, Gardener

Income: None, except what his uncle may send him.

Skills:
• Knows many of the plants, where they grow, and many other facts about them
• Good with his hands
• Has a natural aptitude for earth based songs and life songs.

Background: Sarkhan doesn’t have much in the way of a background, he spent most of his years partially starved and working like a slave to make enough to get by on. And as of late, once his singing potential was fully realized (about midway through puberty) his father swayed his uncle to teach him so he’d make it to an Akademiyi. Just as he set off to the Akademiyi with an unexpected acceptance, his father gave him the family heirloom, which he’d held onto dearly. It had passed down from generation to generation, originally having been given to one of his ancestors at the start of the sixty years war.
