The ice cream shop was busy of course like it always was. She sighed as she leaned on her elbow at one of the tables waiting for her brother to get their ice cream. It was hard to tell they were sibling, they could pass for twins. “Her you go one scoop chocolate chip mint in a cone” he smirked as he handed it to her. She smiled “Thank you Oliver” she said taking it from him. “So you excited to start your senior year, I hear your in all AP classes” he said causally. “I could care less about the classes, Lacrosse is going to be bad ass this year, plus I made head cheerleader” she said proudly. Oliver chuckled “I’m happy for you, but there was no doubt that you could do all that” he smiled to her. She shrugged gently “Yeah, well I take after you…Mr. Star Quarter back on the college team” she laughed. The two of them talking for a bit at the Ice cream shop, Odet enjoyed spending time with her brother, she told him everything. He was her best friend besides of course her actual best friends. Them being interrupted a few times by friends of their family and other individuals, the De’Marco family being very well known.
Devon woke up with a start and slammed her hand on her alarm clock. "ugh" she rolled over and swung her legs over the side of the bed. She rubbed the sleep from her eyes and shuffled into the kitchen. She put a multitude of fruit into a blender then added a scoop of protein powder. The blender made it's usual loud grating noise which made Devon flinch away and groan again. Everything seemed so LOUD.'Damn I should NOT have had that last shot of tequila last night' she thought. She poured the protein shake into it's container and she walked back to her bedroom. She aimlessly took a few sips and changed into a sports bra and yoga pants. Then she got out Benny's leash and whistled to him. He came racing down the hall and Devon attached the collar quickly. "Ready to run Benny?" she asked with a smile on his face.
They emerged from the house with the sun just starting to rise and the dew glistening in the grass. She took a deep breath and started off with a slow jog. After a few minutes she sped up to a run and laughed as Benny's tongue flopped out the side of his mouth as he ran. She was feeling a bit better once she was out in the fresh air and once she got to the park she stopped. She breathed in deeply and exhaled and stretched a bit. "Feel the burn yet Benny?" she laughed.

"So hun, you come here often?" she said smacking her gum. You also had some energy when it came to the bedroom. He knew by instinct that he would be tapping the bartender and that energy tonight.
"Not often enough." He said with a smile. "My name's Cyrus....and this is my new favorite bar sweetie." I winked at her and took another swallow. She giggled and winked back.
He stayed until the girls shift ended, fifteen minutes later. "I have the night shift," She yawned "I have the rest of the day, off." SHe walked her fingers up his chest.
"More for us then..." Cy chucked and kissed her fingertips. Oh yeah, this girl might as well be in his bed right now.
Grabbing her long board, which was yet another odd habit that her friends thought was out of her 'personality', her two large great danes ran up to her and danced at her feet. Laughing the small girl grabbed her dogs duble ended leash and hooked it to their brightly colored collers, "Come on Nightmare, Ghost" She called to her pure black and white dogs. Riding down the drive way and into the city she waved to Devon and Odessa when she saw them, one in the park other in the ice cream shope with her brother. Stopping at the convenance store she grabbed a soda her dogs were tied to the light pole, suddenly their thunderous barking started and she bought her drink in a rush running outside she started cooing to them and they calmed down but the only thing she saw was the cities bar releasing the normal fools and the workers. Not sure who was causing her dogs to freak she hurried to remove them from the pole and rush home.
