Warning. Warning. Testing in process. Proceed with extreme caution. Do not enter testing facility. A dull, female voice echoed through the halls near the testing facility. In the empty, sealed off room, a small pod sat in the middle, containing a large mixture of dangerous chemicals. There was a single door on one side, sealed shut, the wall on the opposite side was fitted with a thick glass. On the other side of any wall was of course, an empty room. This was to test just how far the bomb would stretch and how effective it was on different types of walls, glass and doors. After the rooms was a large barrier where no one could enter, protected only by a large shield, held up by many of the Resistant's shield manipulators.Warning. Warning. Testing in process. Proceed with caution. Do not enter testing facility. The voice repeated. Explosion in five... Four... Three... Two... One...
Chase sighed, feeling his room shake as the explosion went off. The light over him flickered. Dust fell from the brown ceiling above, the tiny crack letting through the slightest amounts of sand. It didn't matter how many times he patched up the roof, it never stayed the same when testing was in action. Closing his eyes for a split second, he lifted the papers from his desk and tidied the pile before setting them down in the top left corner of his desk. "This is getting so annoying..."
Back in the testing facility, Setti grinned, removing the goggles so that she could get a better look at the damage made. "I love explosions," she whispered as she knelt next to the rubble of one of the walls. Even some of the ceiling had fallen, making the room too dangerous to be in. Of course she didn't care, and had ignored the orders of the commander. She was going to examine the remains and no one would stop her. "Ah, the results are a little disappointing, but, that's to be expected. It was only a prototype," she whispered to herself, an odd habit she had. Many people usually commented that she was mad for talking to herself or for her stupid risks. In return, she just look at them, smiling innocently and simply say 'Thank you'.
