Zuu Feran

An angel turned vampire for sympathy of those who lurk in the dark, the energetic Red Death leaves few survivors in her crusade.

a character in “The Balance of Life”, as played by TheRose202

Description

Full name: Zuu Feran
Alias/Nicknames: The Red Death
Gender: Female
Species/Race: Angel-turned-vampire
Age: 19

APPEARANCE
Height: 4'11"
Weight: 96 lbs
Build: Slim,
Eye Color: Fiery orange
Hair Color: Scarlet
Skin Shade/Color: Deathly pale
Scars/Tattoos/Piercings: A long, angry-looking tattoo of a serpent, curving around with the contours of her throat.

Full desc: She stands at about four feet, eleven inches tall, a bit shorter than average. She has long, silky, brilliantly red and wavy hair that cascades down her back. Her eyes are a deep, fiery orange, and are filled with a tons of energy and cheeriness, though there is a great madness and danger deep, deep inside, if one looks hard enough. Her skin, while smooth and without a single blemish, is deathly pale, clashing greatly with her brilliantly coloured hair and eyes. Her teeth are clean and white, and her two canines are quite a bit longer and much sharper than the average, looking very dangerous. She has long, elegant fingers tipped by short, blood red-painted nails, the glossy polish shimmering in the slightest light, which extend into claws for battle. Perhaps the most eye-drawing feature on her, however, is her wings. Comparatively huge and coloured a beautifully iridescent crimson as brilliant as her hair, they stretch out wide when opened, and the tips drag on the ground when they’re not. She doesn’t appear to mind, however, having learned long ago how to cope. While she certainly is not the curviest of females, she still has a pleasant body, with an underwhelming, yet somehow elegant-seeming bosom, very slight hourglass figure, and an effeminate waistline and tone backside. Her arms and legs are both slim but well-toned, speaking of a life of activity and healthy -- if not extremely frequent -- eating. On the side of her neck is a long, slim tattoo of an angry-looking black serpent, curving with the contours of her throat.

Personality: She is deceptively cheerful and girlish in her demeanor, leaving her victims entirely unsuspecting when she strikes. In reality, she is completely and entirely mad, having been drawn in and corrupted by the Dark, giving her all to its purpose, and enjoying it. She is well-liked among fellow vampires who are close to her, though those who haven't fought beside her see her as a sort of joke. Unlike most of the Guardians, she is indiscriminate in her killing. If one has ever even associated with one of her marks, they are viable prey in her eyes. She aspires to catch the eye of the new leader of the Darkness, and prove herself a valuable asset.

Equipment and abilities: She is much faster than your average vampire due to her slight figure and light weight. She tends toward quick, overwhelming strikes when battling rather than heavy one-hit destruction. She doesn't use weaponry, instead preferring to stick to shapeshifting and her natural nail-claws and fangs for battle. She is known as the "Red Death" for her tendency to seek out and eliminate any survivors of her fights, even if they're on the run.

Quick Background: Having originally been born an angel, Zuu saw the Vampires wallowing in darkness and was at first pitying of them. Over time, however, through secretive study of their culture and way of life, she began to be drawn to the Dark, seeking out ways to communicate with them in a non-hostile manner. The final breaking point came when she was shunned by the angels after they found out about her interest, and she was able to break ties and fully give herself over to the dark, asking to be converted. Seeing the value in an angelic ally, the Vampires changed her with nary a question as to her reasoning, and the once gold-winged tan-skinned angel of light turned into a crimson tool of destruction. She relishes the hunt, and although she hasn't completely mastered her abilities, she wields them to dangerous effect. It seems as if she can only go downhill from here...

So begins...

Blood drips onto the cobbled streets from the fingertips of the Red Death as she skips merrily through the darkness of Lionsridge, a town not far off from the Synagogue of Solitude. She had gotten an assignment (one that no one else wanted, naturally) to take the life of a rich merchant who enjoyed swindling customers and getting rich off the suffering of others. It was meant to be a suicide mission, as he had many well-trained guards, but as Zuu knew, the more guards her prey had, the more arrogant they would be. And arrogance would be the death of them.

The street before the inn in which the merchant was staying was lined with bodies of guards and passersby alike, and the street ran red with blood. The door had been torn from its hinges and several windows had shattered. Inside, the walls were painted with drying blood, and the merchant lie against the far wall of the main foyer, covered with scratches and two deep bite marks upon his neck. He appears to have been entirely drained of blood, his skin white as death and his eyes torn from their sockets, seemingly after the fact. No one survived the onslaught, and it appears that the aggressor went out of their way to clear the Inn entirely of all life, as many rooms are now only occupied by the dead.

Zuu licks her fingers. What a successful operation! She giggles at the memory of the merchant's expression as his blood was slowly siphoned out of his body by her deadly fangs. He looked so surprised! Really, he shouldn't've been. He had it coming, cheating people out of their hard-earned Denarii. She makes her way out of the town and sits upon the great lion-shaped rock overlooking the city from which the name comes, laying back and gazing at the beautiful stars above. Man, what a night. She decided to just lie here for a bit before going back to the Synagogue, enjoying the cool breeze and the full moon.

The Synagogue of Solitude was, at a point in time, a sanctuary for all vampire kind. However, today, Adrastos reigned leader within. No longer was it open to house every vampire, but to train them, housing only himself and his elect few. By invitation, or granted request, Guardians of the Night could come to the Synagogue to train their magick, fighting skill, or to simply meet with Adrastos and gaze into the Pit of Despair contemplating the Balance of Evil.

The main hall of the Synagogue had been renovated by Adrastos upon his takeover. A table sat on the western side of the room, four chairs on each side, one on each end. On the eastern side of the room was a throne, of sorts. The chair sat two feet above the floor level, with a column on each end. Upon entering the Synagogue, you would approach a table filled with bottles of several different, fresh bloods; and exotics fruits to bring out the taste. The Pit of Despair was towards the back of the building; to its' side was a marble staircase that led to the living quarters for Adrastos himself, and his Council.

At the moment, Adrastos was standing above the Pit of Despair, merely looking for something to catch and distract his attention. Lately, he had been entirely focused on how to gain the trust of a certain Angel. Her mind manipulation powers were as powerful, if not more so, than her own. Something beautiful caught his eye. His new member, his fallen angel, Zuu. She was a bit on the aggressive side, when considering the traditional way of the Guardians of Night. Some had already criticized him in allowing her to roam about freely, not trusting her to keep the Balance properly, but to confuse Light and Dark. Her performance, however, was nothing less than Dark, darker than most. He was pleased with her. He wasn't sure if she knew entirely her importance in the new world he was aiming to create. Though, most didn't even know of that. However, he still felt it necessary to keep close tabs on her, as he was sure his extended family of the Light was doing as well.

"Dextrius." Adrastos spoke. Instantly, a vampire of smaller stature appeared by his side. "Yes, Master?" He bowed his head, intentionally avoiding eye contact. "I'd like you to send message to our new member to join me here for an evening snack." "Of course, sir." The vampire disappeared, leaving Adrastos to stand peering into the Pit.

As Zuu rests, she sighs at the warm feeling in her stomach. That was her favourite part about this whole new vampirism thing. Not only could she take a more active role in eliminating the worst humanity had to offer (and that was pretty bad), but she also got a warm meal every time for no cost! Well, she supposed the cost was technically seeing all the awful things the person had done, but that did nothing but justify the killing further for her.

Her thoughts are interrupted, however, by soft footsteps on the rock behind her. She quickly springs up with the help of her wings and spins around, letting out a hissing growl that was unique to her kind. Then, she realises that it's one of her own, and specifically one of the King's helpers. He looks upon her with disdain.
"Our King requests your presence for an 'evening snack'," says Dextrius, "and I suggest you don't keep him waiting."
With that, the helper turns about and leaves again, having carried out his duty.

Zuu was elated. She'd finally get to get a one-on-one with the King! She thought he was a cool guy, and she hadn't gotten the chance to talk to him really during the original initiation. Just in the sense of accepting his gift, really, but that didn't entail her telling him how much she admired his rebellion. She'd never been one for the order and restrictiveness of the angels, and she grew to love the King's purpose over the time she studied him in secret. Not to mention, he was a pretty good looking guy, too! With all these things in mind and a bright smile on her face, Zuu lifts herself into the air on her massive iridescent red wings, the moon shining off them brilliantly as she speeds toward the Synagogue of Solitude, making excellent time due to her flying.

When she drops down into the cave that is the Synagogue, she looks about. She felt slightly lost, in all honesty, as she'd only ever been here once, but she wouldn't scar her reputation further by asking for directions. Besides, at least she could see in the dark. She wanders around the caves for awhile before, by sheer luck, she arrives at the Pit of Dispair, internally cheering to herself that she found it. She wears a beaming smile to match her mood as she walks up to the throne, looking up at the King.
"Hi there!" she says cheerily, "Your guy said you wanted me to join you for a snack! I love snacks."

"Hello, yourself." Adrastos spoke. Through low eyelids, his grey eyes seemed to look straight into her soul. Her wings were magneficient, to say the least. "I've called you here, Zuu, for more than nourishment. Though, to keep the calm, I find food the best common ground for meetings such as this." Adrastos rose from his chair, stepped down to stand beside Zuu for a moment. He turned to admire her wings closely. True enough, he had seen Angels flying through the air, but given the circumstances, had never been priveileged to admire their beauty up close. Now, here standing with one of the Night, with wings, was truly a sign of his own success.

Adrastos put distance between himself and Zuu as he walked towards the table set with bottles of blood, and fruits from all around the world. Plucking a simple grape from the bowl, he chewed it, before offering, "Please, my dear. Help yourself." He motioned to the table, then turned to lean against the wall next to the table. "So, how do you find life to be for you now, Zuu? Are you pleased with it?" He hadn't held a audience with the young being since her changing from Light to Dark. As she had survived thus far, he felt she was ready to be officially welcomed into the Guardians of the Night.

Zuu's own orange eyes are great at hiding any sort of actual emotion, though if Adrastos was to look hard enough, he would surely see the madness masked beneath the cheery smile. "Well," she replies, "I don't see why I wouldn't be calm." She smiles at him as he examines her wings, fluttering them just slightly to make what little light reflects off the pool shimmer upon the iridescent surface. "Pretty cool, aren't they? They've always been a little big for me, but I like 'em anyway. Makes it super easy to fly, too." she says.

And as he offers the food, Zuu grins just a little and bows haphazardly before dashing over and grasping an apple, biting almost savagely into it as the juice drips down her chin, swallowing it quickly before taking another bite. She doesn't respond to his questioning until she's turned the apple into a core, which doesn't take very long at all. She's not a slow eater. "Well, it's pretty fun being a Vampire. None of that uptight crap I had to deal with with the angels. Sucks that I can't really see the sun anymore, but hey, it's totally worth it to take a more active role in punishing the humans for their arrogance. I think, personally, that they need to be put in their place." she says as she moves over to sit in one of the chairs that rests at the table to the right of the throne. She turns it around to face toward the center, moving her simple wrap out of the way so it doesn't tear upon the chair or ride up and expose her unnecessarily. "They think too much of themselves; they could use a little more fear. Also, I really like the hunting part of it. I tried to be one of the warriors of the Angels, but they wouldn't let me! Said it wasn't my 'fate' or whatever. But joke's on them, now, isn't it? I'ma become the best Vampire the land's ever seen!" Her happy expression suddenly turns into a dangerous, toothy grin, "And all those angels are gonna see what real power looks like."

"I hope so. I'd love to show them exactly what you're capable of." Adrastos rubbed his chin, and pushed himself from the wall. "I'm not sure if you're completely familiar with the reason as to why I recruited you, Zuu." He took his seat upon his throne, "I'm seeking justice, in a sense. Heh, well, let me start first with a story." He crossed his legs, getting comfortable, "Let's say, 200 years, give or take a few generations, ago. A rogue Angel found herself hypnotized by a dark, and handsome Vampire. For years, the Vampire stalked and harassed the Fallen Angel. Together they sort of, played a game of chase and catch. He would attack her; she'd fight back. She would attack him; he'd fight back. As you can imagine, they came first to know, and perfect the other's fighting style. Then would come a battle of wit. With this, they came to know each other on a more... personal level. Eventually, they fell in love and unionized their relationship. Neither leaders of either the Light or Dark approved of it, but as they were no longer affiliated with the Angel, they turned eyes from it. Until nearly a century later, when they reproduced. An abomination was born: Half Vampire, half Angel, which cause could he ever stand for? As the leaders and Council Members of both legions came together, they decided that all three would have to be... dealt with. And of course, by dealt with, I mean put down; damning all three to an eternity of burning in hell." Adrastos sighed, and shifted. "Alas, the Angel could not bare to see her son robbed of his own opportunity to live. The child was half Angel, but only within his soul. Outwardly, he was completely Dark, truly a Prince of Darkness. The two hid their child among trusted friends, and led the Council Guard on a wild goose chase; steering them away from the child. Of course they were caught, but only after the child had been completely buried into the Vampire society, never to be found or exposed."

Adrastos stood, and ran his hands over his face, and through his hair. Walking to the pit, he continued, "You see Zuu, I agree in that they do think too highly of themselves. They believe themselves righteous enough to determine who does or doesn't live. Purely out of fear of the unknown; they took a boy's mother and father, with all intention of taking his own life as well. They doubted me, Zuu. They doubted whether or not I would be capable of contributing and keeping the balance in this world between good and evil. Now is the time, however, with an Angel within my ranks, that I show them how capable I truly am."

Now he turned to face her again, "And to do that, I need you to help me. I need you to find more like you, more Angels that were not given the opportunity to exercise their true potential within the Heavenly Realm."

Adya set Aiyanna down on the floor. "I will request an audience with mother, but I think it is best we all go to speak with the king. I will not grant you permission to go see him alone you are too emotional right now to think clearly." she stated frowning at her. Adya paced, "I believe we all need to go but the brothers might be there as well as Zuu and well..." she gestured to Aiyanna who was playing with a bunny she had snuck into the Fane of Light.

Aiyanna hopped after the bunny and giggled softly as she scooped it up and held it to Nak "Isn't she cute sissy, I named her Petunia!" she said gently stroking the little rabbits fur. "I must say I miss the old ZuuZuu" she said looking towards the fountain and signed.

Nak lifted the rabbit to her chest, and rubbed her nose on it's fur, "Petunia, huh?" She sniffed, causing the rabbit to twitch its' ears. "He sure smells like one!" She softened in mood whenever confronted by Aiyanna. "I miss her too, Aiyanna. However, she's not coming back, I fear. Her body has been possessed by a monster; we should imagine Zuu within Heaven, sitting with our Queen Mother, at this very moment." She handed the bunny back to Aiyanna, and ruffled her hair.

Nak walked over to Adya, touching her arm to pause her pace, "I don't want Aiyanna going with us to speak to the Dark Leader. Perhaps it's time she finds a human for particular guarding. Something to keep her busy and safe while we're away. He has already stolen one of our kind, I refuse to let that happen again." She looked over at Aiyanna hopping along with the rabbit in play, "A child, I think." Children were special to choose as Guarded Humans. If they were young enough with an imagination, Angels were allowed to show themselves, and actually interact.

Zuu listens carefully to the story, moving only to track the Prince of Darkness with her eyes as he walks to his throne. When it's all over, she nods emphatically. "It sounds like the Angels I know. I tried to be patient with them, you know...but patience isn't really my strong suit and they just kept saying the same things, over and over and over and over and...well, you get the point. Anyway, here I am, and of course I'll help you in any way I can!" Then, the implied meaning in his words hit her and she blinks a few times. "Wait..." she says slowly, "you're the half-angel? That's pretty great! How'd they get you in here anyway?" She looks curious, but only for a few moments. She's not one to stay interested in one thing for long.

"So, get some angels to follow us. Shouldn't be too hard. The kiddies can be influenced fairly easily, actually, like any children. Of course, if they keep refusing me I can't do much but kill them, and I'd like to avoid killing the new ones if I could." says Zuu, before the King can respond to her previous question. She gets a pondering look at that.

"Mmhmm." Adrastos said behind an evil grin, "I am the original half-angel, and I'm done hiding." He stood from his throne and walked to stand over and peer down into the pit. "A new dawn rises, one where we are able to walk in the sunlight without fear of condemnation from those wretched beasts that the angels work so hard at protecting, and envoking with their disgusting innocence." He spit this last part out, drifting off in thought, his eyes glowing.

He turned sharply, "No! Not just to follow us! To love us! To worship us! To want to rid this world of all the humans, and take back what was originally ours! To take over this planet, and give it to the rightful immortal beings that have protected it since the beginning!" He crossed the distance, and reached out with both hands to grab hold of her shoulders, "No, I don't want you to convince them to follow us. I want you to grab them, and bring them to me!" The gleam in his eye disappeared, and they turned a deep, dark, solid, endless black.

Zuu looks at the King quizzically throughout his short speech, though she almost rockets out of her chair when he grabs her. She's certainly not used to people touching her. No one would even get within ten feet of her when she was still an angel. Still, she doesn't look as frightened as she does confused. "But...how do you expect them to worship or love us without being convinced? If I just grabbed them, they'd just be slaves, which is all well and good, but it'll take a lot longer to convince them to love us that way. They could also fake it, or their old ways could be triggered later. No, we've got to convince them! Elsewise they'll never follow us. You know how stubborn light folk can be, but they're not usually all that smart!"

Zuu beams, and nods emphatically. "I know how they work, remember?"

Adrastos gained control of his self, letting the woman go. His eyes clouded over, and took on a dimmer grey. "Right." He held his hands up to examine them, as if he wasn't sure how or what just happened. "Yes, you're right of course." Turning his back on her, he waved his hand, "Go. Do what you must." He stood above the pit, crossing his arms and staring down into it, he needed to seek out an old friend. He was losing control of himself, losing focus.

Zuu nods affirmingly with a bright smile as she turns back toward the entrance. The first thing she would have to do, of course, would be to lure the Angels somewhere. Angels never come to the Synagogue, after all. Too dangerous for their frail hearts. She lifts a spear from the armoury before she leaves, strapping it to her back while she makes her way out through the labyrinth.

When she emerges from the depths, she takes a deep breath in the crisp night air. Luckily, their conversation hadn't lasted too long, and so she had quite a bit of moonlight left. Off to Lionsridge again, she thinks as she spreads her disproportionately large wings and takes off, the moonlight glinting off her iridescent wings. The guard captain there is always too harsh with his men. Now I'll have to punish him, and show them all real fear. What rationalized her thoughts, no one knows but her. Perhaps she truly is simply mad.

As Zuu soars through the air, she pulls a relic of he past from the satchel on her hip: an angelic white robe made especially to accommodate wings. She says a short chant in something that sounds like the language of the angels, as well, though instead of reminding one of a softly bubbling creek as the Angelic tongue does, it brings images of sludge draining from a pipe, every syllable harsher and more grating. As she chants, the color of her wings and hair change to a lovely golden hue, as they were before she turned. She alights on the ground as she pulls the robes over her black vampiric garb and pulls the hood over her head to conceal her face, starting into the city. Those who still wander the streets at night marvel at her beauty, and reach out to touch her, believing it will bring them good fortune. Zuu can't help but grin. What fools.

Eventually she arrives at the guard tower, where the city military leadership stays. "I must speak with the Guard Captain."she says in her most innocent voice, "We have much to discuss."
"Yes, ma'am." responds the guard as he opens the heavy oaken door. Mental persuasion and a respect for what Zuu was posing as helped her greatly. She wanders upwards in the tower until she reaches the Guard Captain's quarters, and she begins to sketch something on the door with her claws. A rune of some sort, it looks like...very jagged and very dark. This would not turn out well for the Captain...

Zuu steps back a bit and chants another incantation in that awful, grating language, and within seconds the rune she drew glows fiery red (the Angelic wards usually glow yellow) and the door explodes inward, splinters flying everywhere, shattering the glass of his window and knocks over several items on the Guard Captain's desk, where the Captain himself sits startled, the man's piercing blue eyes wide. "What in hell?" asks the man, but he reacts too late. Within moments Zuu has thrown the robes off and dashes forward over the desk, the gold slowly "trickling" from her wings and hair, showing the bloody crimson underneath as she lifts the man by the throat, a big smile on her face. Strangely, her smile holds hardly any malice, but her grip around the man's windpipe is enough to show her intentions. "Hi there, friend! I'm afraid you've been a little bad. And, it's time for you to pay for your crimes. Don't worry! I'll make it quick." she says cheerily, though the last few words are said with a dangerous edge to them.

The man, whose arms are still free, gasps as he grasps for his dagger and swings it wildly at Zuu's face, the blessed blade searing her flesh as it slashes across her cheek, causing her to cry out and recoil momentarily, stepping back a few steps as she drops the man, who quickly gains his bearings. He hadn't become Captain for nothing, and his stance shows quite a bit of fighting skill. He grins. He thought he had the upper hand due to his blessed blades, and he was sure more guards were on their way. He draws his sword from its scabbard, holding the dagger in his offhand. "C'mon then, luv! Try and take me!" he says boastfully. When Zuu looks back up, her gaze is intense and angry. "You shouldn't've done that," she says, growling, "you should've just died like a good little man."

She dashes at him quickly as he swings his blade, ducking under the blessed steel and knocking his arm away as she delivers a powerful punch to his stomach, the force throwing him back against the wall with a loud "oof". He falls to his knees as a small trickle of blood drips from his mouth. He raises his dagger to try and parry Zuu's next attack, but she's too quick, kicking the dagger from his hand, causing it to clatter uselessly to the ground beside them. She then kicks him in the face with enough force to shatter a few of his teeth, his body going limp momentarily. This gives her the opportunity to dash over and grasp his dagger, and although the hilt burns her flesh she grits her teeth and deals with it. "You're going to regret hurting a guardian, dirt!" she almost yells at him, her voice laced with madness. She crouches down beside him and begins to saw at his blade arm, right at the joint in his elbow.

The man begins to scream terrible screams as blood leaves his body, and this just causes Zuu to cut faster. More guards arrive suddenly, as she's about halfway through, and she turns to greet them with a dagger thrown into the eye of the closest one. She lets out a feral growl as she turns back to her primary prey and tears his arm off at the elbow, having sawn enough off to allow her superior strength to do the rest of the work. She spins back around just as the first guard dashes at her, using the dismembered forearm to bash the man in the face, breaking his nose and spraying blood on the guard behind him, who's severely traumatised. Before he has time to react, she dashes at him as well, driving the bony part of the forearm through the man's stomach with a disgusting crunch as she moves on to the next, tearing his spear from his hands and throwing him out the window, where he falls ten stories to his death. She turns back to the guard captain, who's bleeding severely from the stump where his arm was minutes ago. She grins as she kneels down beside him, running a bloody hand down his face, smearing hot red substance over his rough features. She hopes she's got an audience in her "sisters".
"No use running from justice, you see?" she says tenderly as she gestures back to the severely wounded and dead guards. The Captain is too damaged to respond. "No answer? Well, I suppose I'll have to show you the seriousness of your crime in a more...palatable manner."

She lifts him up by the throat again, shoving him against the wall right next to the window. She reaches behind her for the spear -- she had taken it for this very purpose -- and pulls it from her back, slowly running it down the man's stomach, trembling with gruesome delight at all the suffering she feels from him. She pulls her arm back and, after just a moment of anticipation, slams it forward, bringing the tip of the spear with her. The spear point goes into the man's chest right below his sternum, puncturing the lower parts of both lungs as it drives all the way through him, barely missing his spine and driving deep into the stone wall behind him. One of the good things about cursed weaponry is its strength, and the spearpoint buries itself deep within the wall before it's too damaged to continue. She steps back and admires her work, nodding with approval. Then, she gets another idea, causing her grin to grow. If one saw only her, they'd simply see a gleeful little girl, but her surroundings make her innocence much less believable, and so does her next action. She runs two fingertips through the blood that pours from the man's arm and flaps her wings so that she hovers just above him, writing something in blood upon the wall above his head in the beautiful, swooping font of the Angelic language. As she steps back to admire her work, she smiles happily. "Perfect!" she says, and she gathers up her now bloodstained robes before diving out the window and spreading her wings to their full width, swooping off into the night.

The text upon the wall reads, in dripping bloody letters, "Now Darkness Reigns"...

Standing over the fountain, another image fluttered into view. One of Zuu, and her victims, "Adya, come back!" She looked from the fountain to Adya, "Change of plans! Stay here with Aiyanna until I return!" Without further notice, Nakhti took off in flight for Lionsridge, hopefully she could catch Zuu along the way. The woman was out of control, and needed to be stopped. The Guardians of Night had never sentenced a human to death in such a cruel way, Zuu was doing it all wrong. Deep inside, Nakhti didn't want to see Zuu struck down, but if she wasn't stopped, that's exactly what would happen.

Zuu soars through the air above the fields before Lionsridge as she hears bells sound in the distance, signaling the all too late response of the city's guards. She hums cheerily as she licks her fingers clean of blood, licking around her lips for the drops that sprayed over her face as she fought. Another successful operation! This was sure to attract at least one angel. For a very, very short instant, she feels a slight pang of regret at leaving. And then all the memories of being shunned for her thirst for knowledge and her sympathy for their brothers flood back, causing her to simply get more angry. She grimaces as she stops, hovering mid-flight over the centre of the fields between Lionsridge and the massive dark cloud that covers the Synagogue. She'd wait here, she decided, until an Angel showed up that she could kill. Or, no, convince. That was her mission. Right. The temptation was nearly unbearable, but she'd have to bear it for now...there would be plenty of Light blood to be spilled later on.

Nakhti stepped unto the ground, landing from her furious flight. She hadn't taken a single moment's time to address Zuu, regardless of what was to follow, Nak knew she had to stand against the wrong that had been done.

She stepped before the Guard Tower and drew her sword. It's blade had been blessed by the Queen Mother herself, being handed to each Head Warrior. As a group, Angels were blissful, and harmonious. A Warrior, independently, was not someone to underestimate. As Nak and Zuu had spent many days practicing with each other, within the Fane. Her fury was that like no other, but as Nak was taking notice, she was still just as reckless as she had ever been.

Entering the tower, her stomach turned. Such massacre, evil. She truly was a beast, with little to no compassion left. 'Hopeful, much?' Nak thought to herself.

Upon climbing the tower, she forced herself to not focus on the mess made, but rather the message left. Dripping in the victims' blood was the a message from Zuu. As she was no longer a part of the Light, Nak could no longer track her to a specific location. However, it was obvious where one would head after such a feat. As Nak herself couldn't set foot within the Synagogue, she would have to hurry. Zuu must be dealt with, and warned of her carelessness.

Nak stood on the windows ledge, and took off in a furious flight, sword still in hand.

Zuu simply hovers where she is, flapping her wings every few seconds to keep herself afloat. Finally, right before she's about to fly back to the Synagogue due to boredom, she sees another winged figure flying toward her in the distance. She grins a wicked grin. Here we go...

Nak had her sword still in hand, flying straight for Zuu. It had taken a moment for her to reach the fallen angel, but not much energy. Zuu seemed to be traveling at a slower pace, "Your murderous antics will be rectified!" She yelled.

Nak flew horizontally now, sword pointed straight at Zuu. The closer she got to her fallen sister, the brighter her sword grew. It was drawn and attracted to the horrible evil that now dwelled inside Zuu. The urge for retribution took over Nak, as she tucked her feet, and tumbled in the air right before reaching Zuu. Instead of attacking with her weapon, Nak planted her feet squarely on Zuu's chest, and pushed off, all of the force behind her flight delivering the blow.

"What a monster you've become, Zuu! Have you no shame?" She bellowed at the, what she now considered to be, creature.
