Jenna Collins's Story

"Time to wake up, Simone!"
A loud, male voice shouts. Toni covers her head with a pillow, as Kyle, her adoptive Father yanks open the curtains, letting in the rays of sunshine.
"Get out!"
Toni shouts, throwing her pillow at him.
"You better be up when I come back,"
He chuckled. Once he closed the door, Toni immediately got up and yanked the curtains shut. She looked around at her room, and frowned.
Same room. Same life. Same house. Same parents.
Toni didn't like anything about her life, well except one thing...She snuck out almost everyday, and meet with her three other friends...She rehearsed with them. They have always dreamed of starting a band, and going on a world tour...or at least she did.
Her room was decorated with a wardrobe, right across from her huge bed, with teal covers, and white pillows, and white sheets. The bed frame is a tanish color, as is the wardrobe. There was also a desk next to the wardrobe, with a mirror above it. On the left side of the wardrobe, there was a door leading to a small bathroom. On the right side of the wall, there was a huge window, with teal curtains. The left side just had a door, that lead to a hallway. The walls were painted a dark red, the ceiling was just a plain white color.
Toni marched over to the wardrobe, and slipped on one of her favorite outfits---

She brushed her hair, and teeth, then headed out of her room, and to the kitchen for breakfast. She had a quick bowl of cereal, and when she was done, she yelled out,
"I'LL BE IN MY ROOM! LEAVE ME ALONE!"
Right before she looked the door to her room, and crept out the window.

Jenna carefully started her warm-ups. She started with a simple song, then some harder ones, then started to practice the song that they were playing. She loved to played the drums, and she thought that the band was a great idea. She knew that if they worked hard enough, they could be great. For now, they were just trying to get all set up.

Keith groaned as he woke to the sounds of drums. He looked at the clock.
"Crap!" He muttered. He dragged himself out of bed and picked out a simple outfit. He quickly grabbed a piece of toast to eat and his guitar. He ran next door and opened the door with the key that all the band members had.
"Hey-o!" He cried. Jenna was doing her warm-ups, and looked up and smiled, but kept on playing.
"Still waiting?"
"Yep. I'm surprised you're the first one here," Jenna commented.
"Miracles happen," Keith set up his guitar.

Toni walked about five blocks, and took the bus over to Jenna's. She could hear the drums and guitar booming from inside, as soon as she reached the house.She unlocked it, and opened the door.
"Whoa, since when are you here early?"
She laughed, seeing Keith already here. Usually she was the first one here, since Kyle woke her up so early, no matter what day it was.
Toni started to do vocal practices, to hit higher notes, and sound good.

Jenna laughed.
"That's what I said. Even if he's next door, this will be the first and last time he's here first,"
"Hey! Like I said, miracles happen! After all, I was born, that's your proof!" Keith joked. Jenna rolled her eyes. She and Keith had been next-door neighbors ever since they were babies, and had always been friends. Friends that annoyed the crap out of each other. Jenna continued with her practice.

"Are you sure that was a miracle?"
Toni commented, with a small chuckle. She then continued with her practices.

"It wasn't," Jenna laughed, putting down her drum sticks. Suddenly, Keith picked her up and flipped her upside-down.
"HEY! Turn me right side up, NOW!" Jenna protested.
"Not unless you say that me being born was a miracle!"
"Do you want to hear that, or do you want to hear the truth?" Jenna teased.
"Hey!"
"Fine. Keith, you being born was the day everyone ran around and screamed, kill it with fire once they saw you, but a miracle happened. It wasn't a ugly monster, just you!"
"HEY!" Jenna laughed at Keith.

"Hahahaha!!!"
Toni was cracking up.
"Well, she said it."
She smiled, walking over to them.
"Might as well let her down,"
She chuckled, pressing his pressure points, causing him to drop Jenna. Being with parents you hate, you tend to learn pressure points, and how you can use them to your advantage.

"OW!" Jenna cried.
She looked at Keith, who was on the floor.
"Wake up," She kicked him in the side.
"No," He responded.
Jenna grinned.
"Ok" She started to bounce on his chest.
"I'm getting up!" He slowly rose to his feet.
"You weigh a lot," He teased. Jenna kicked him in the shins.
"Shut up,"

"Sorry about that, Jenna."
Toni chuckled. She nodded her head in the direction of Keith,
"You, not so much."
She teased, poking him in the chest.

Keith sighed and flopped on Jenna's couch.
"When's Derrick going to get here?" Keith complained.
"Keith, it's been five minutes since you got here, you can wait longer,"
"No I can't!" Keith cried.
"Not with you two, at least," He added.
Jenna rolled her eyes.
"You're so annoying. Remind me again why we let you join?"
"Because I'm awesome?"
"Never mind, I should never ask you a question. It's always going to have the same answer," Jenna teased.

"The same wrong answer. Plus, think about how long we have to wait for you!"
Toni commented.
"Now, how did you two become friends, anyways? It seems you annoy the crap out of each other, almost 24/7."

"Well, because we are next door neighbors, our parents became great friends. OF course we had to play withe each other. We hated each other until we both got into video games when we were eight, and then I convinced him to start playing guitar so he could play with me while I played my drums," Jenna explained.
"Basically she relaxed how amazing I am," Jenna snorted and flicked him in the ear.

"Ha. Perhaps YOU are jealous of her drum skill."
Toni smiled, then made a small mumble.
"Derrick should be here by now!"
She then pointed to Keith.
"This is about the time when you finally arrive..."

Keith held his head up.
"I'm extremely insulted. I know I appear perfect, but I have a flaw or two," Keith flipped his hair.
"Besides, I'm AWESOME at guitar, I don't think I'm jealous of Jenna!" He added.
"Oh really? How about you and me play the same song and Toni decides which one of us is better!" Keith grinned. "You''re on. DOn't cry too much when you lose,"
"If you're so sure you can win, how about I pick the song?"
"Deal,"
"Ok," Jenna thought fir a second. A devilish grin appeared on her face.
"How about Red WIne River?"
"NO! I will NOT play that IMPOSSIBLE song!"
"You said I could pick! I thought you said that I would cry about losing!"
"Fine. Let's do the song!"
Jenna grinned and started the intro.
She drummed fast, while Keith played the beginning of the song. Jenna grinned at Toni, then threw her drumsticks in the air, then caught them.
"Show off," Keith mumbled.

Toni smiled, as she watched them face off. When the song was done, they both looked to Toni.
"The winner is...Going to be announced after I get a coke!"
She faked the voice of those annoying judges on T.V who always made you wait for the answer, and grabbed a coke from Jenna's fridge.
"Hope you don't mind!"
Toni smiled, opening it.
She took a long, slow, sip, and smiled.
"THE WINNER IS..."
She took a very long pause.
"NO ONE!!!"

Jenna frowned.
"I don't think you deserve that coke, but oh well. Why won't you pick someone?"
Keith nodded.
"Yeah! I know you don't want to hurt Jenna's feelings, but-" Jenna stepped on his foot.
"Shut up," She said.

"JK. The winner is defiantly Jenna!"
Toni smiled. She motioned for a high five, as she walked over to her.

"Nice!" Jenna high-fived Toni's hand.
"You two are extremely cruel," Keith groaned.
"When's Derrick getting here? I'm getting tired of being around you two girls," He added.

"Ha! We are great company!"
Toni smiled, plopping down on the couch.
"And we are not cruel! Just awesome, unlike you!"
She teased him.

Jenna laughed. She high-fived Toni and smiled devilishly at Keith.
Keith groaned. "Do you two have selective memory or something?" Keith asked.
Jenna clapped.
"Those are probably the biggest words you've ever used," Jenna teased.
