- A howling noise erupts from within his frame when he powers up his prototype plasma system, thus giving him the name of 'Howler'.
- The system allows Howler to fire a stream of plasma from the center of his core, directly at who/whatever is in front of him. It does not follow the target, only stretches forward. It then must recharge itself for several hours before firing again. This is a flaw known only to himself.
