"Wow! Finally someone who shares my passions: the books are the only things that speaks to me!" Daniel signed as he rised and followed Elisabeth.
Then he saw her sign about books:"Really,I read every kind of books.I prefer Fantasy and Spy-stories,thought....also Mythology.Ever heard of Agatha Christie? I don't want even name Tolkien: you surely know him.I also love Carlos Ruìz Zàfon Daniel signed, prey to happiness.
No one in his family likes to read...to obtain books he had to work and buy them with money of his pocket.
His father considerates reading for ladies.Daniel is alway of the opposite idea: what would happen if a girl reads about mass murders?

Then she showed a paper, colored and with pictures. It is a map: it is time to go.
"Nice! The last thing I wish is that we get lost in this Labyrinth." Daniel mimed and signed."And yes,if you wish I'll start the list of the books I read"
When they started to walk Daniel began to write a list.He alway had a piece of paper:
Books read
-[i]"Cycle of Inheritance",Christopher Paolini -"L'Orlando Furioso",Ludovico Ariosto

-The Shadow of the Wind,Carlos Ruìz Zàfon -"Invite to a Concerto",unknow
-The prisoner of the skies,Carlos Ruìz Zàfon -Corpses to sun,Agatha Christie
-Game of Angels,Carlos Ruìz Zàfon
-Murder on the Orient Express,Agatha Christie
-Ten little Indians,Agatha Christie
-La Divina Commedia,Dante Alighier
-Il Canzoniere,Francesco Petrarca

These are the books I read,Elisabeth.Notice that the titles are Italian and I had to translate them.

He wrote slowly maintaining a beautiful cursive handwriting. He wrote with a stylographic pen.He never goes out without a pen.
He handed the paper to Elisabeth.

He made hard face of concentration, thinking hard on what to do. He certainly didn't wish to get lost, as such a feat is quite easy for him, and he didn't wish to be gone should a teacher come by to pick them up only to see them gone. Nikolas didn't wish to be tardy towards attending dinner, after all. But certainly Adele may be right, that could be signs about the place to point the way? He didn't say anything, slightly tired of having to speak more often than he usually did as he kept to himself (though now that he had a roommate, he would probably have to speak, (or sign, whichever it was that her primary choice of speaking) much more than he did).

Nikolas looked up from his gaze over to whatever it was that he had been looking at within his thoughts, and with a hopeful gaze, he shakily signed back, "Let's go then. Okay?" He felt awkward signing, as such a language was so choppily said and took up amounts of time if they were to have full blown out sentences of conversation, but he supposed that he just hadn't gotten used to it yet. Nikolas left a final glance towards the violin case, I suppose that I'll play it later.. Until then.

As they made way out of the room that they now shared, he glanced around the hallway, and seeing other students heading towards ways where he wasn't sure where was, he quickly noted of the lack of teacher escorts with the couples or small groups. Looking for signs that were lack of, he kept a sheepish smile as he turned towards Adele, and signed, "We do not seem to be having much luck. No signs, so far." He glanced towards the other students outside of their rooms and heading to gods-knows-where (hopefully the dining room). Perhaps they could follow after? Though he doubted if they were exactly where they were going.

”I suppose it doesn’t matter. Both beds are the same, aren’t they?” Isis nodded as she looked the beds over. She dumped her load on the bed and stretched in cat like manner, her toes pointed and hands raised high, to get rid of all the kinks in her muscles. She stayed like that for a moment before settling back down and separating her bags into their groups. She wondered if her choice of clothing wouldn’t make a wrong impression. Over the years that she’d traveled with her parents she’d accumulated different cultural clothing and accessories. While she loved them all she wasn’t sure what everyone’s response would be. Fortunately, she did have her share of normal clothing. Just as she moved to unpack she distantly heard the PA announcement. Turning toward Aiden she watched his lips and hands move to tell her, ”I suppose we should go then, huh? They want us to go to the dining room for dinner, then a tour.”

Her lips formed an “o” as she nodded. So that’s what it’d been. While Isis could probably carry a conversation in close proximity she hardly heard from more than a few paces away from herself. People would need to yell really loud for her to hear. But she’d perfected sign language and could easily read someone lips if she had to. ”Ah, well then, shall we? I, for one, am starved.” she grinned at him as she asked and signed this. She quickly grabbed her map in case they got lost and opened the door, jumping slightly on the balls of her feet as she looked expectantly at Aiden.

Aiden

Aiden watched Isis' response with a slightly amused look on his face at her shocked expression, and then at her response. ”Ah, well then, shall we? I, for one, am starved.” Aiden smiled at her as she got her map and jumped onto the balls of her feet, chuckling lightly at her expectant expression. he signed back to her, "Excited are we? Okay then, shall we go then?" And with that, he held his arm out like a gentleman for her to take if she wanted to. He gave her a friendly smile, trying to assure her with his face he wasn't trying anything.

Adele

Adele watched as Nikolas seemed to be debating to himself whether or not to go. She waited patiently for him to make his decision. After a bit, he did. "Let's go then. Okay?" Adele smiled brightly at him, heading for the door immediately and opened it. She looked behind her to see Nikolas looking at the case on his bed. This caused her to look at the saxophone case on her own bed. But then he was behind her and she started walking out the door.

They had walked around for a bit without seeing any signs when she saw Nikolas sign, "We do not seem to be having much luck. No signs, so far." Adele sighed and scrached the back of her head absently before signing back, "Yeah, it seems like that. Not one of my best ideas, huh?" After that she saw some students walking in a direction, and gestured to them. "We could follow them. Couldn't hurt. Even if they aren't going to the dining room, we could ask for directions." She signed to Nikolas.

”Excited are we? Okay then, shall we go then? Isis beamed at him and accepted his arm. She made sure not to tug him on to the dinner lest he think her crazy. As they walked she signed and said, “I’m easily excited over food. So much that I’ve had some friends try and see what they can make me do for it. Small things, nothing drastic, I assure you. Once a friend of mine told me he’d buy me lunch if I hugged a random stranger. That was embarrassing…” she blushed at the memory and laughed slightly. “But I did get a good meal out of him.”

She shrugged sheepishly realizing that maybe he didn’t want to hear this and thought her weird. She busied herself looking down at the map and nudging Aiden when they came to a turn they needed to make. She looked up briefly from the map and smiled the tiniest bit at him. ”What about you? Are you a food aficionado or are you like those people that think a healthy diet of salads is the way to go?” She made a face as she said/signed the words diet and salads. Isis did believe in being fit and healthy just not at the price of a pointless diet and the loss of great foods. She liked greasy food, fast food, regular food, cultural food and just any kind of food way too much to ever give them up.

Elisabeth smiled at Daniel's enthusiasm for books, glad that she found somebody else who loved stories. "I love Agatha Christie!" she signed to him, and gladly took his list, planning on making her own when she got the chance, but right now she wanted to go to dinner as her stomach was starting to grumble. She grabbed his hand, pulled the door shut, and started to move down the halls. His list was safely in the pocket of her jeans and the map was in her hand her brown eyes scrutinizing it intensely. Every now and then she would look up and take sharp turns, Daniel being dragged behind her. Then she came to an immediate halt; she looked left then right and then turned around to Daniel.

"Alright I'm lost," she stated to him. Elisabeth didn't know how it happened, but she managed to get her and her flatmate lost even though they had a map. She blushed intensely and smiled embarrassed that she managed this so well. She had never been good with directions, but this was ridiculous even for her! She hung her head then and handed the map over to Daniel in defeat.

"Help get us out of this and you can have my dessert," she offered without lifting her head or looking at Daniel. She was sure that he was better at using a map then she was and she would do almost anything to get to the dining hall soon and get food in her stomach, even give up her dessert. You see, Elisabeth had a major sweet tooth, so much so that her dad would joke if she wasn't careful she would become a diabetic. This always freaked her out greatly even though she knew he was joking, but as of right now she just wanted food, any kind would do, just food and now.

Damien started chewing on some chicken and sipped the water in front of him. He watched the people around them, kind of 'listening in' on their conversations. He wondered what was in store for him here and what friends he would make. He was starting to worry about his sisters though and excused himself from the table. He walked out into the hall and slid up his cell phone. Dialing his home number, he smiled. When his sister answered he laughed.

Daniel smiled,as Elisabeth admitted that she couldn't find the way."You can take my dessert,Elisabeth.I doubt I'll pass a clear night with some pudding."
Daniel signed with his smile. He took the map and looked at it."This place can't be infinite...let's see...." Daniel was examinating it,noticing a few words.
Apart his sense of music he had also a pretty gift for orientation.Once again he looked at the map and led the way.
They walked for somewhat ten minutes,Daniel with his eyes sticked on the map, trying to don't get distracted.
"Voilà,Madame Elisabeth...this seems to be the dining room.Atleast I hope" Daniel laughed, knowing that his sense wouldn't fail him.
"Oh wait a minute....it's....downstairs" He turned back and walked down the stairs, for another three minutes.
"Ah....THIS seems to be the Dining room!" Daniel signed and opened the door with exagerate manners.
"After you" Daniel signed, looking at Elisabeth.

He entered in an huge room, totally different from the living room: He saw two tables. One with the "Maestro" and the other, empty. He saw the service awaiting to be used.It was around seven p.m: He wasn't hungry at all,but to be polite,he have to eat with his schoolmates.
He was wearing his clothes: he didn't had the chance to get changed.Again it was a pretty cool evening.
He looked at the Maestro as he invited them.He moved a chair for Elisabeth and sat near her.
He looked on the table, recognizing few forks. At the table there was a roasted chicken, served with the classic lemon-garlic dress,as well as potatoes and even rice and salads.
"Duh....if I am going to pass two years like this I am forced to get a greater belt...." Daniel was thinking, while drinking a glass of water.

He smiled, though pondered briefly on the matter of the following after. He signed back, "Yes. Well, that would be a good idea." Following after the pair in front of them as he fell into an automatic like step, Nikolas noticed the lack of conversation that he and she seemed to really have, though "talking" with others wasn't really in him, no matter if he had a lack of awareness to the 'social call', whatever that meant. Nikolas made sure that he wasn't moving too far ahead so he wouldn't leave Adele behind, not really paying too much attention to his surroundings as he would often but rather making sure that he didn't accidentally leave behind his roommate as he was prone to doing before he entered the school as a student.

Though, it would seem that he may have lost some concentration on following after the pair that they were supposed to be able to follow, but the pair had walked off too fast to really catch up to, and he fell at a lose as to what to do as of now. He turned towards Adele, a sheepish smile in apology. He was beginning to sign towards her, "I think we're really lost now." He briefly glanced around, though another presence caught his attention. Oh. Miss Marks. She waved, and came over, and briefly exchanged greetings as she began to lead them to the dining room, where they've been on the right track, sort of. As they did enter the dining room, he looked over the tables and the food that was being presented. Nikolas' stomach growled a bit, and he looked at it like it was crazy, being able to feel the slight vibration in his stomach instead of really hearing it. He must've been more hungry than he realized. Miss Marks parted with the two of them before attending to her own table of seats with other present instructors.

He glanced towards Adele again, signing to her as he stuttered though he wouldn't really mind if she didn't catch what he 'said', "G-guess we ma-made it then-en." That food was beginning to smell really right about now. Though, the lack of the presence of his violin case irked him, just a bit if by only a little.

Aiden

Aiden looked down at the girl on his arm as she spoke to him, chuckling at her story. The blush on her cheeks was quite endearing, and he enjoyed conversation with her. He thought that he was just going to listen like he did with every other girl who had talked to him. But it seemed she wanted to hear from him as well. This was new to him. No one usually wanted to hear from him, they just wanted him to listen so they could vent. And he was fine with that. But he found that he really enjoyed being able to contribute to conversation as well as listen.

Aiden laughed at the small faces she made when she mentioned dieting and salads. "Well, I just eat to eat. I don't enjoy it as much as you seem to, but I don't avoid it either. I'm more prone to act like you act about food with my music or a book." He said with a smile to her, looking at the map himself and making a turn he saw they needed to make.

Adele

Adele started biting her lip again when they had lost the people they had been following. She really didn't know what to do here at all. This is what she got for being late and not grabbing the map like she knew she should have. But she was independent, she didn't need a map. So much for that. She could be really stupid sometimes, and she hated it. Shecould be stupid and stubborn and ignor-

Her self-beating in her head was interrupted when she saw Nikolas call Miss Marks over to them. Relief flooded through her. They wouldn't be lost in here because of her after all. Nikolas and Miss Marks, saving the day. They wouldn't have had to if she hadn't gone around screwing things up. But there was no time for that thinking now. She walked beside Nikolas and followed Miss Marks without a word, silently retreating into her mind.

They made it into the dining room and she looked around at the food. There was a whole lot of it, that was for sure. They wouldn't run out. In fact, there would probably be left-overs. Adele looked to Nikolas. "G-guess we ma-made it then-en." Adele gave a small but fake smile, not really feeling all that chipper anymore. "Yeah, we did. If you want to sit together, then you get to choose the table we sit at. I don't know anyone else here so I don't have a preference."

Elisabeth smiled and hugged Daniel quickly out of the joy of finding the dining room. She walked in, letting him decide where to sit and sitting gratefully in the chair that Daniel had pulled out for her.

"Thank you," she signed to him before starting to pile food onto her plate, until most of her plate was completely covered. She then looked to the Maestro silently asking if she could start or if they had to wait till everyone was here. He simply nodded, she smiled her thanks and began to eat, not quite chowing down, but not the dainty little bites she and her mother would often make fun of as those kind of women walked passed. At first it seemed that her food was disappearing off her plate almost magically, but then about halfway she started to slow down. Elisabeth looked up from her food for the first time and saw people starting to find their way in, she smiled at some of them not knowing who they are, but trying to be friendly. That's when she remembered Daniel's book list.

Elisabeth took it out and started to read it, she smiled it was a pretty decent sized list and she only knew about two of the books. She looked up at Daniel, "This is quite the list you have here," she signed, and then adding on a little sheepishly, "And truthfully I only know the Agatha Christie ones, the others you'll have to show me sometime."

Daniel remained gazed as Elisabeth hugged him.Her golden hair touched his shoulders and, even if Daniel was wearing thick clothes,he could feel how soft they were.
During all the dinner Daniel didn't ate so much: for then minutes he preapared himself, placing the simple food...salad,bread,chicken,mostly salad.Currently he was on a little boat during a maelstrom: he posed himself a riddle."So we are here to win an award....how hard will it be? How much will I have to train....no matter the price I'm pretty forced to be an
excellent pianist...."
Daniel was moving his fork between salad leaves and tomatoes. He doesn't like tomatoes.

He looked at Elisabeth, that was deepleting dish after dish.He smiled:"She'll eat for me" Daniel was thinking, recognizing a great appetite.
A few minutes passed and Elisabeth took out his list.
Currently Daniel was consuming his part of chicken and rice. With the tail of the eye he saw Elisabeth sign.
After he dropped his fork and knife Daniel signed:"Obviously,I will resume them to you.Not here,it takes hours to sign Dante.Hope you like literature and chicken. Daniel said smiling at her.

Isis listened to Aiden and smiled when he admitted to not being as enthusiastic about food as she was. The music and books she could understand their appeal. After all, he had come to this school specifically to improve in the music department. And she’s read her fair share of books to know how they drew one in. “Ah, music and books then.” She looked at him and smiled, “I get that. So what type of books do you like? Me, personally I stick to fiction. Though on rare occasions I’ll find a great Nonfiction.”

She had liked the different worlds that filled Fiction books. She already had the real world to explore right under her so Fiction books always held her interest the most. Now those worlds and adventures were originated in the minds of the author. They came from the minds of people like her or any other. To think that each mind has their own universe is just simply amazing to her. She blinked out of her inner ramblings and waited for Aiden’s answer.

Ty let out a sigh of relief when he finally reached the dinner. He pushed the doors open and blinked when he found there were people already there. Then again he knew there would be, as he’d gotten lost quite a few times before actually finding the place. He nodded and said hello to those he passed and collected his food. Having his food at hand he sat down at one of the empty tables and looked around. Okay so Ty wasn’t a people person, still, he felt slightly left out as everyone was paired with their roommates. It made him wonder about his own. He sighed and ate quietly.

Nikolas smiled and signed to Adele to follow after. "Okay. I would like that." Though, he noticed how her smile didn't exactly reach her eyes, and frowned as he walked forward a bit, before stopping, and gestured towards a random empty table as he pulled out a chair. "Sit." He kept his frown as she sat down and he took a seat opposite to hers, and stared at her for a couple of minutes. Trying to run through his mind as to whatever it was that could've upset her. Did I upset her, by any chance? He certainly hoped not. Nikolas glanced around the room, before looking back to his roommate, his fingers nervously tapping lightly against the table, its sound faint and almost barely there. "Adele," He signed shakily and almost nervously, the expression clear on his face. "What is wrong? You seem upset."

Nikolas kept his frown, but smiled again to try to reassure her after a pause. Though his signing was very limited, he tried to at least communicate with her as best as he could. "I miss my violin. It makes me sad when I am away from it." He made a repeated gesture of 'crying' as he mimicked tears with his fingers. He smiled nevertheless. "Do you miss your instrument?" He glance around just a bit, but paid his attention onto Adele carefully, worried. Ah, people are already going to get their food. I hope that she'll eat.

Aiden

Aiden listened as best he could to the girl. The voice was faint, but he still heard it. It was a nice sound, her voice. It had that different tone that only people deaf or going deaf had, but only slightly. But her voice was still nice, high and strong. He looked at her as she talked, watching her lips to help him know what she was saying in case he had missed something or heard something wrong. He wasn't great at reading lips, but he could catch a few words here and there, that was for sure.

"I adore fiction. It's all I read. I can't stand nonfiction. It's so... Boring. I mainly read fantasy, realistic fiction, and stuff like that. I rarely read historical fiction, but sometimes I enjoy it. Have you ever tried reading a book in verse? Like, in poetry verse?" He remembered reading Ellen Hopkins' books and loving them. He believed he had brought some with him. Maybe Isis would enjoy them.

They reached the dining room and he guided her over to a table, holding a chair out for her to sit in. When she sat down he pushed the chair in for her and went to sit in the opposite seat.

Adele

Adele sat in her chair when told to. "Thank you." She signed to him, wanting to be polite. He looked at Nikolas as he sat down. He seemed a bit upset. Is that my fault? She wondered to herself. Before she could voice her thought, Nikolas was signing to her, asking what was wrong. So it was that plain on her face? She supposed it was only natural. She was being more secluded where before she was being nice and bubbly. Adele sighed as he finished signing to her.

"No, I don't miss my instrument. It's just... I seem to be messing up already. If I had grabbed a map when I got here instead of thinking I wouldn't need one, then we wouldn't have gotten lost. If we had stayed put, I'm sure someone would have come to get us. And if I can't get directions right and I'm always getting lost, I'll never get anywhere in this school." She pinched the bridge of her nose between her fingers. "I've worked far too hard to get here to get kicked out for being late all the time." She looked around the room and saw that people were already eating. Great. They were late too? "Do you want to get something to eat?"

“I have. Quite a few actually.”She said and signed. She tried to remember the names of them as Aiden pulled out her chair. She smiled at him gratefully and sat down. Her thinking paused for a moment to think about how surprising it was that Aiden had pulled out her chair for her. She’d thought guys didn’t do that anymore. Her smile widened. Well, chivalry isn’t quite as dead as it seems I guess.

Her mind wandered back to trying to remember the last time she read a novel-in-verse. Isis’s tongue peaked out the corner of her mouth slightly as it always did when she thought and her brows furrowed with a sense of concentration. Her mind was blank for moment before a name popped up. “Oh, the last one I read was Impulse… but I haven’t really finished that one. My father gave it to me a few weeks before I left. I’ve probably read a fourth of it. My brothers didn’t much give me time to read since they thought I shouldn’t waste my time reading when I could have been spending time with them.” She rolled her eyes at this but smiled fondly when she spoke of them. She continued talking and signing. “But besides that one I’ve read others…” she shrugged and smiled as she continued, not embarrassed by her next words, “But most were pretty girly. I’m not sure if you might have even heard of them.”

She looked at him and tilted her head slightly. “Do you like those especially? The novels-in-verse ones?”

Elisabeth smiled broadly, "Oh ha ha," she sarcastically signed about the chicken comment, though she did find it slightly amusing. Then her mood became more energetic, "You would recited the whole thing to me in English?! That would be wonderful! I look forward to your reciting!" she signed and then took another bite of her dinner. Eating the way she did, chowing down, was nothing to be ashamed of and she knew it, it only made her a character.

"Some of the stories I've loved in the past are Harry Potter, Dracula, The Chronicles of Narnie, Alice in Wonderland, and Shakespeare. I absolutely love Shakespeare," she signed, "Of course these are only my absolute favorites, there's plenty more that I like to read too and then stories that I'm still working on finishing reading. Unfortunately I wasn't able to bring all the books I wanted." She then took a drink of her cranberry juice, most people didn't like cranberry juice, but for her personally it was the best kind of juice there was.

Elisabeth looked around the dining hall now, trying to see who was there already. She saw Aiden with his flatmate and waved to him. She wanted to finish her conversation with him earlier and hear the story of how he came to choose the names for his instruments.

Nikolas' frown came back, though much more out of confusion and inability to understand her seemingly complicated little problems that brought stress to her, but he nodded nevertheless as he fell back into a hopeful and attempting to be reassuring smile, standing up to retrieve their own meals. "Yes." The naturally-born Russian kept his eye on the shorter female, something that was natural seeing as he was a bit of an awkward giant. He settled on something small to eat, such as a roll of bread and a thin broth of soup to accompany it. While the other foods that he could've had taken to fill were quite appealing in terms of appearance, he had little appetite as he was accustomed, but tried to fill his plate as best as he could, adding in some potatoes, tomatoes and bits of beef that came with soup. He wished to tell her that she was taking unnecessary burdens on herself from what she said earlier, and that getting lost isn't her fault, that she is merely overreacting. He kept silent until they made back it to the table.

Before he began to ear, he tried to keep eye contact with Adele while trying to get her attention, attempting to sign some words of reassurance. "Do not be so stressed. It is not your fault what happened earlier, I get lost too." His careless hand had the spoon that was resting on the plate, somehow fly off in the air, he almost didn't notice if the spoon's metal coolness hadn't touched him lightly. He bent over to pick it up quickly, taking napkin to clean it. It was seconds long, before he looked back up to his company. "It relieves me when friends my are content. Smile." His own smile widened a bit to help encourage her, napkin still in his hand and unaware of the careless mistake that he made. Adele seemed like a rather nice girl, though a bit low self esteemed.. but could have been the stress that she appeared to be riddled with. He let his soup begin to cool in the generally quiet dining room, where it would make sense how silent it was, given the location of where they were, but was faintly aware that there were people in this room as well and were off doing other things and making sounds that he could barely hear at all.

Aiden

Aiden smiled as he watched Isis sign to him. Ah, finally, someone else who enjoys such things... He thought to himself. When he saw the sign for a familiar book title, he perked up even more. He was getting a bit excited, liking that this girl was like him as well. "I've read Impulse. An Ellen Hopkins book. I've also read Crank, Burned, and Tricks. All very good books. I do believe I brought some of them, if you would like to borrow some. Ellen Hopkins has been the only author that I've read that writes in verse. She is really good at her writing. As for whether or not I prefer the books written in verse... Well, I'm finding that I actually do. I write my own poetry as well, but it's a bit... Dark." He finished up and slightly chuckled, shrugging his shoulders a bit.

Aiden looked around and noticed that everyone was getting food. "I assume you are hungry. I'll go get us both food. What do you want?" He asks her. "And no, You don't need to go and get it I'll get it for you. I don't mind, really. I want to." He gives her another small smile. "And we can continue our book discussion when I get back. I just need to know what you want."

Adele

Adele had gotten up when Nikolas did without a word. She seemed to have scared him away a bit. She chewed her lower lip a bit, fidgeting with her fingers a bit. She follows him to the line where they were serving food. She grabbed a plate and put a small amount of salad on there and a small bowl of fruits and vegetables (celery, grapes, raisins, and carrots) then a water bottle. She waited for Nikolas to finish filling his plate and then sheepishly followed him to the table again.

She had just been about to eat when she saw Nikolas trying to get her attention, then signing to her. She shrugged at his words, not really sure what to say. She couldn't just turn off her stress. It was just always there. When she saw him smile, though, she couldn't help but smile back. He had a nice smile. "Thank you Nikolas..." She signed to him. "You're really nice. And you have a nice smile too." She smiled back at him again and started eating her food, sitting up straight as she ate out of habit.

"Harry Potter,Dracula,Chronicles of Narnia and Alice In Wonderland...You like Shakespeare? Good, then maybe you'll like Dante.Anyway I love Alice In Wonderland and the Chronicles of Narnia...never had the chance to read Harry Potter, thought." Daniel said, with his right hand.Only in the middle he started to utilize his left"Oh Romeo, perchè sei tu,Romeo?...You know? Piumini made a less tragic version of Romeo and Juliette....I find Shakespeare too...realistic" Daniel signed, with both his hands.
He started to animate his dinner: he started with the chicken and begun to touch the bread.
He drank water in an excessive quantity.

He looked at Elisabeth and noticed that she was looking at the newcomer. After she waved,Daniel imitated the action and started to sign.[i]"Ahm....he's....wait...Alex? Aiden? Guess it's Aiden.Feel free to join him: If you search me I'm up,in the room.
He excused himself, looking at the [i]Maestro
And the teacher.Gained the permission he returned in his room...after a good fifteen minutes of wondering.
"Reminder: DO NOT WANDER WITHOUT A MAP" Daniel was thinking, while arranging the bathroom with his lotions.Really,a quarter of his bag was full of shampoos and body lotions. After he brushed his teeth he took out a black stylographic pen with a black book: his diary.
He opened it,searching for a new page, when he did he sat near the window and begun to write, with his little, precise calligraphy.

Caro Diario,
E' stata proprio, non scherzo, una giornata di viaggio in macchina con Papà e in Limousine.E' la prima volta che entro in uno di quelle macchine nere lunghe e strette.Ti lascio Indovinare com'è andato in viaggio...
A domani,Diario
Gian Daniele Alfonsi

He took his time...after that he borrowed a page from his diary and started to write the story of the Divina Commedia

Isis smiled widely unable to hide her rather happy mood. She’d forgotten how nice it was to just talk to a guy. Her brothers had mostly consumed all her time and if it wasn’t them that she’d been by it would have been her father or her mother. Really, my brothers act like I’m some kind of fragile doll they have to keep watch over 24/7, she thought. Still, she knew they meant well and it wasn’t like her time with them was horrible. After all, who better to spend time with than a little mad scientist, a trickster and an obsessive athlete? She chuckled and shook her head free of her thoughts. Aiden was telling her that he’d also read Impulse. She smiled at his enthusiasm. He was right, he does get as excited about books as I do about food, she thought slight amused. “You write your own poetry? Truly? I’d love to read it sometime… if you wouldn’t mind, of course. I’ve written my fair share but I suck at it. Still, it helps put down a little of what I feel at the moment… although there was one time I got bored and I wrote about some squirrels…” she signed and said. She smiled sheepishly when she admitted the last part before she shrugged. “I kind of liked it though so I kept it.”

When Aiden offered to get her food she was ready to protest but he kept on. She smiled and shook her head. [i]“Fine. I’ll have anything you pick…”
she paused in her sign and thoughtfully tilted her head, “No salad though…” she grinned at Aiden knowing he’d understand her slight aversion to it. She’d been on a plane for hours and just as much time in a limo. Salad just wouldn’t cut her hunger short at the moment. ”Please and Thank You.” she added. As he turned to get their food she looked around the dinner and spotted a few people she’d seen before at the entrance. Most she hadn’t gotten a name to but she was sure that once they all started classes she’d, hopefully, familiarize herself with all of them. She fiddled with her fingers nervously at the thought of classes.

He was half done with his plate but Ty knew he could have finished it all if he’d really wanted to. But… he was slightly distracted. He liked looking at the people around him. People watching they call it, don’t they? He liked watching how interaction went and how the body language responded rather than how the people themselves responded in words. It was a rather asinine thing to do but he loved it. He truly believed that the human body was what answered back honestly. Words could be spun into lies or half-truths but the body couldn’t hide its reactions. Well, unless you were one of those people who can’t express any emotion as a condition. What was it called? He’d think of that later. At a time when solitude was abundant.

Ty couldn’t help but feel rather envious of the others. They’d all paired and partnered up. All had someone to interact with. Ty, while not much sociable, still liked human interactions here and there. He might have been what his few friends liked to call a “loner” but he did have them… so he could truly be all “loner”. He sighed and passed a fork though his food. It was fine this way he supposed. No distractions but that of my own thoughts…

Elisabeth waved at Daniel as he headed back to their room; though she was slightly worried by this because she wasn't sure she'd be able to find their room again without him. 'Oh well,' she thought, shrugging it off, 'I could always ask the teachers. She picked up her plate that was still half full of food and was about to make her way towards Aiden, when her eyes was caught by a guy sitting alone. She stopped in her tracks and looked back and forth between the two, then shifted her destination to this person. Her logic being that Aiden already had somebody to talk to while this poor soul was left alone. Of course she knew that there was a major difference between being lonely and being alone; she just hoped this guy wouldn't reject her company.

Placing her plate in front of the seat across from this guy, Elisabeth sat down and looked to him. "Hello, I'm Elisabeth Clayworth. I hope you don't mind if share company with you." She signed with a friendly smile. Elisabeth held her breath slightly as she waited for what she hoped wouldn't be a cold-shoulder.

He followed her lead as she began to eat, knowing that she cut off their conversation here and smiled a bit wider. At least she smiled.. That's a good thing. The Russian had at least hoped that she could try smiling a bit more. It was a lovely smile; reminded him of white daisies. Taking the spoon after rubbing the napkin over it several times to ensure that it wouldn't be incredibly dirty, he then calmly without a smile ate. He slouched if only a bit, delicately taking quiet sips and chewed slowly, the notion familiar from his childhood. Nikolas couldn't seem to shake the habits that Mother left in him, though he supposed that it merely meant that she was a good mother. Does Adele have a good mother? Ah, conversation material to bring up some points in time later.

Silence seemed to stretch between him and Adele, as they quietly ate. He never 'spoke' whenever he was supposed to be consuming a sort of food source, so he didn't try to bring up anything else. As he got through half of the soup, leaving few chunks of actual nutrition and a moderate amount of soup, he brought the napkin to his mouth to clean it of any mess as he placed down his spoon. His roll of bread had at least an eighth left, untouched as he finished up his last few sips, leaving the meal not fully finished. Nikolas neatly placed the stained napkin beside the plate's other contents. He sat still, unsure as to what to do as his hands fell back to rest on his lap, lifting his head to at least be on level to looking at Adele, not making it any less awkward. He watched with little attention. Gog, he desperately wished to get back to their room (it make him slightly panic at the thought, being unfamiliar to the concept.. 'their room') so he may go back to playing his beloved violin. His left leg began to shudder as he rapidly tapped it against the floor quietly, becoming more anxious as his eyes began to wander around to try to focus on something.. anything.

Ty was drinking some of his water when a girl came to sit down in front of him. For a moment he had that odd urge to spit out his water but that wouldn’t have gone down well. So he gulped the last of it and blinked at her. While she introduced herself he was trying to decide whether this was a dream or some sort of prank. He looked around to see if anyone was giggling behind their hands and found that not one person was looking in this direction. Having nothing to point out the nature of this unexpected event he turned back to the girl and gave her a small smile. ”Sorry, I’m not use to people willingly coming up to me. But yeah, I don’t mind your company.” he signed.

He paused for a second and wondered what to say… Oh yeah, my name. Duh! He scratched the back of his head a bit sheepishly and looked over at Elisabeth again. “Well, the names Ty. Ty Morton. If you can find anything else you’d rather call me, go ahead. Though nothing really gets shorter than Ty.” He stopped signing to give her a devilish grin before he shrugged and continued. ”So, since this is a Music School… and if I may ask, what instrument are you musically talented in?”

Elisabeth continued to eat her food, though with less gusto then before, while Ty continued to talk. Finally setting her fork down in order to answer his question, "Well I play the cello. It's my one instrument, though I would never dream of playing another one anyway. What about you?"

She could tell that he seemed to be out of his element, what he said about not having a lot of people come up to him willingly to talk was just confirmation. You see, she noticed that his eyes bulge slightly when she first sat down and that he looked around, as if he would find some people laughing and pointing. She wasn't sure why he would think all people were like that, but then again if those were the only kind of people who came up to him before then she could understand. It was sad to her, granted she never had a lot of people willingly talk to her as well, they mostly just talked about her to her dad; this was one of the reasons she fell into reading and composing because she knew there she would be welcomed. Alice was only too happy to be joined on her adventures to Wonderland, Harry was grateful someone else was willing to help him take down the Dark Lord, and Lucy and Elisabeth were the best of friends as they went off into war together. None of her friends complained about having her along. Though she did have some acquaintance in the real world as well, she always felt a little lost around them and the odd one out.

"And don't take my comment on the whole 'one instrument' thing, that's just me. It's completely okay if you play two and still love them both just as much," she added as a side note, suddenly feeling her comment would offend him in some way if she didn't explain.
