Introduction
Durnai is a world that, for eons, was feuded over by three gods. Stescrad, the god of order and the lawful, Enthin, the god of Chaos and the wicked, and Madis, the
goddess of Neutrality and innocent life. Since the dawn of time, Stescrad and Enthin have warred with each other over Durnai's fate, while Madis simply strived to protect the innocent, though her power was much greater than she ever showed. In an effort to show their power, the two at war bestowed their most powerful champions with measures of their own power. The first and greatest of Enthin's champions was Warlord Damian, the Immortal. To combat this chaotic barbarian, Stescrad molded a pious soul, the saint Myra. Madis, seeing the conflict escalating into her dominion, bestowed almost all of her power into a peaceful monk named Lars, who had been raised without knowledge of the conflict until he was already a grown man. However, these three did not last long, as their first meeting was their only. Kevaug, the being of Oblivion, from which all things spawn, would not have mortals wielding the powers of his greatest creations wander the planet.
The Champions Fall and the Reliquaries
Kevaug, furious with his children's inconsiderate actions, smote their three champions with a single being, slaughtering them with a single swing of his arm, leaving their bodies for their people to find. Kevaug, his anger quelled for the time being, placed his sons into sleep, leaving his weakened daughter to watch over their world as she recovered over the centuries. The justices, army of Stescrad and the barbarian hordes converged, finding the bodies of their leaders, began their conflict with rage renewed as their generals were toted off the site now known as Kevaug's Crater, but the body of Lars was never found. Madis watched Kevaug kill her beloved child of peace and took his body to her hall. Lars was embalmed, and a reliquary was filled with a vial of his blood, then hidden in the wilderness of the world. The body of Damian was taken to his hall, where he was cremated, his reliquary filled with his ashes, and Myra was entombed in her mausoleum with a reliquary of a bone from her sword hand.
The New Champions
Kevaug's grip over the brothers of Chaos and Order eventually began to slip. Their powers were slowly growing through the war, now entering its bicentennial year. The two sides of the war allowed expeditions to their ancient burial sites to locate the long lost reliquaries as the conflict expanded. One warrior from each side of the conflict was sent out to Kevaug's Crater, a justice of Stescrad, devout and with a sense of order, and a barbarian with unmatched blood lust. The two met where Kevaug's fist fell, the place where the first champions fell. There sat a young monk, paying his respects to his religion's patriarch. The story begins here, in Kevaug's Crater, with the three young heroes who can either save the world, or destroy it.

Chapter History: Myra and the Lord of Law
Myra the Martyr, the Champion of Stescrad was born to a poor family in the town of Jhanc. Ever an upholder of law, Myra did whatever was required to uphold the laws of the land. She joined the justices at a young age, determined to quell the advance of the lawless barbarians. She prayed to Stescrad for the strength to uphold the laws of life which the god himself had lain forth for the humans of the world and so she had. Advancing quickly in the ranks of the armed justices, Myra found herself on the field of battle countless times, and by the age of twenty, had rallied her forces forward, taking half of the continent of Durnai. However, these victories drew forward the wrath of many people, both against her cause, and due to the strict nature of her command, with her followers.
On a dark night, Myra was dining with her officers, many of which envied that a woman, younger than most of them was their commanding officer. As dinner began, the officers prayed to Stescrad for the deliverance of their souls to his hall after they fell in battle. Myra however, never finished her meal. The officers drew their blades and axes, and struck down Myra. While they begged for forgiveness, Stescrad gives no quarter. The officers were stricken from the plain of Durnai and in his agony broke one of the very laws which he had lain forth. The god took some of his own powers and placed them into the body of Myra, giving her new life and abilities which none could comprehend. That night, Myra the commander died, and Myra the Martyr was born. Stescrad, ashamed of his weakness for a mortal, resigned himself to the gentle grasp of Oblivon where he waits for a new champion to awaken him.
Meanwhile, Myra met her antagoist, Damian the Immortal on the field of battle. There she also met a follower of an unknown god whom the monk called "Madis". The young monk tried to stop the two from destroying each other, but even though he prevailed in stopping the battle, the three were crushed by the power of Kevaug, leaving the world in a state of immense turmoil without its guiding lights.
