Roxy De Landra

"Shit, am I hallucinating again?!"

0 · 404 views · located in The Kingdoms

a character in “The Book of Fables”, as played by Miyer

Description

Name:Roxy De Landra

Age:18

Appearance:Image

Side:Good (The boys side)

Weapon in the book:Duel Daggers

Abilities:
  • Can Communicate with animals
  • Able to shape-shift into a Ferret

Personality: Roxy has a very straight forward and sometimes down right rude personality as she seems to have lost her conscience which stops her true feelings from spuing out of her mouth. Because of this she is very honest whether she wants to be or not but can also be seen as a very cruel or bitchy because she doesn't think before she opens her mouth.
She prefers the company of animals and books and you can often find her at the library or the animal shelter where she works.
Roxy also has a very wild imagination and she has been on medication for hallucinations due to this, this makes her seem crazy and is another reason why she avoids other people.
Despite this Roxy has a very sunny disposition and is very curious about the world, taking everything in her stride and trying to make the most out of any situation. Through she doesn't particularly like the presence of some humans she is very chatty and has a tendency to babble if she isn't to busy being distracted by something she finds interesting.

Love interest: None right now but maybe...

History: Roxy was born into a big loving family and was the youngest of 5 siblings, all being brothers, She learnt to be tough and was a true tomboy. Both her mom and her dad loved her very much and all her brothers were very over protective of her and she had a very happy childhood that consisted of innocent games and niave thoughts.
When Roxy turned 15, her last brother left the house and through she still talked to all her brothers she began to feel lonely, her father often had to work to pay the bills and would try to spend time we her as much as he could, however when her mom became sick and he also had to pay for her medications there was no time left in their lives for their daughter.
Therefore Roxy became an escapist to the world of books and nature, she would spend hours walking through the forests and than even more hiding away around the bushes and reading her beloved books.

How she found the book of Fables:When Roxy turned 18 she visited her favourite hang out, the old library. Just as she had grabbed some strawberry and vanilla tea with her new book, "The Neverending story".
Her reading was soon interrupted when a group of young teenagers entered the library and began talking loudly. Roxy was able to hear them clearly even 4 tables down.
"I have never liked this place!" One of the girls loudly proclaimed.
"How come, it's just a dusty old library." A boy teased her, causing her to pout.
"Ya but you know what they say about the basement here! It's so creepy!" She said as her friends all laughed at her.
You stopped paying attention than and looked towards the basement door. You were curious now and nothing was going to stop your finding out what was down there.
Getting up you approached the old lady at the counter, you had know each other for years and you knew she would probably let you down the if you asked really nicely.
"Hay Janeen! How are you? You really should stop wearing this glasses they look hideous!" You blurted out before you could stop yourself, cursing mentally in your head. However Janeen just laughed as she no longer took what you said as offensive.
"I know, you have told me many times but I still won't change them. Now what can I do for you my dear?" She asked kindly.
"Ya sorry... Hay Janeen, can I go and look inside the basement?" You asked nervously, sheepishly looking down at your feet.
"Why would you want to go down there?" Janeen asked, now confused.
"Because I heard those people over there talking about it and now I am really curious to see if there is like monsters down there or something!" You said again before you could even think up a lie. Janeen laughed.
"Ahh, Roxy, always the curious little girl aren't ya. You can go down there but don't get eaten by those monsters." She joked while grabbing the basement key off the hock and chucking it at Roxy, who failed at catching them.
"Thanks Janeen!" You yelled before running down the stairs towards the big, heavy basement door.
Pulling the door you entered the damp, dark room and glanced around. The room smelled musky and heavily of old books. There were loads of old books in big bookshelves that went along the outside of the room.
Approaching the desk in the middle of the room, you saw only one chair and a book laying on the table. Curious, she reached out and gently brushed the books hard cover before she felt herself freeze, a bright light was suddenly in front of her and she could feel herself being pulled forward into the white light. Giving a shout of surprise she blacked out.

Other:
  • On medication for hallucinations
  • Had a keyhole tattoo on the back of her neck

So begins...

In forest there was another flash of blue light, no one as around to see the girl suddenly appear in the sky and fall towards the ground unconscious.
Small forest animals quickly began to gather around the girl's body, curious about the flash of light. As the animals got closer they realise the girl didnt smell anything like the others that lived in the forest and was emitting a strange aura of blues and blacks.
A young ferret slowly approached the young girl as the other animals watch on in apprehension. It quickly jumped onto the girls stomach causing a gasp of pain to escape her mouth as she was scratched by the animal's sharp claws.
Slowly waking up she revealed two sapphire blue eyes as she stared down her body at the ferret who stared back at her, eyes half lidded from sleep she scanned the rest of the animals surrounding her body, he brain too groggy to pick up on her situation.
"Maybe we should try to get her help, She could be injured!" A squeaky voice cried in concern which brought the girls tired eyes to a small robin which hopped from foot to foot as some of the other animals mummers in agreement.
"I can understand you..." The girl rasped out, her throat hurt from sleep and dehydration. The sentence wasnt meant as a question, simply a statement of a fact. The ferret on her stomach stared up at the girl with pitch black eyes, before it ran up along her body, positioning itself right in front of her face, gently bumping their noses together in a for of comfort.
"Victor! Maybe you shouldn't do tha-" An older ferret cried before she was cut off by the gasps the exited the animals, including her own.
They watched in shock as the girls pretty blue eyes bleed into the pitch black eyes of a ferret for a second before bleeding back into their usual blue. Her eyes began to close as the girl began to lose consciousness again.
"Hay, don't go to sleep again! What's you name?!" Victor asked, bumping the girls face again in hopes of waking her up.
"R-Roxy... My n-name is Roxy..." The girl mumbled out tiredly before finally succumbing to sleep.
"OKAY PEOPLE! WE NEED TO GET ROXY HELP! NOW MOVE OUT!!!" The young ferret screamed at the other animals and watched them scatter.
Glancing back at the blue haired girl, Victor took off in the direction of Morinae, in hopes tha the lady of the forest might be able to help the girl, depending on whether the girl stayed where the animals had left her, but this through never crossed the concerned ferret Victor.

Theodred, The King of Aravale

He turned around after Demetri had left and looked at his wife. He went to say I love you when she spoke at him about the freedom of Charlotte. "I did not believe it necessary to send guard with the girl. She always expressed that she was only going out for a bit so I thought it unneeded to set a curfew. Also look at this way no one in our kingdom wants her to come to harm I'm sure." He moved in close to his wife and pulls her hand into his own. He then presses her hand to his lips and kisses them softly. "Smile dear. You frown to much."

Con'ken

Con'ken had been waiting hiding in woods for either something to come through the portal or someone attempt to breach the portal from their side. He waited for a bit wondering about what to expect. Then a light flashed a bit away from where he was. "Shit I thought they would come from this portal."

He took off into the woods heading to the area the light came from. He witnessed the girl speak to the ferret and then the creature take off towards Morinae. Con'ken walked into the clearing and approached the girl. He sniffed at her and thought to himself yes that's a outlander. He made sure he didn't come in to fast but not approaching silently. He waited till he was sure she could see him 'Greetings Traveler. My name is Con'Ken I am a guard of The Lady of the Forest. You ferret friend is running toward our kingdom. Do you need help?" He realized he was treating his movement more like how you would approach a scared animal but he had no idea what to expect.

Emeror Dredenthin

Emeror looked up a Nieve "Always the fantastical entrance mi'lady" He laughed a bit and stood up stretching his back from sitting there. He followed her in looking over the walls and over the stone floor. "Yes sadly the only thing I had to report was the light which I figured you had already investigated. Everything else seems fine though. It also seems the people of Atlantia have been busy crossing over to Liridale at least three." He looked over the castle and the looked at her "So where's Con'ken?"

Patience

Patience bowed and began walking toward the outside perimeter of Liridale. He kept his eyes down and released the light from his thoughts. After walking for a little bit he came to the edge and began moving his hands in pattern. His eyes turned white and the words coming from his mouth seemed not his own. After a few minutes a dozen minor shadow demons stood before him. "Spread out and report to me if you see anything." Each of them went in a different direction. Patience sat down on a fallen tree and waited.

Nieve, the Lady of the Forest

"Always the fantasical entrance, Mi'lady."Emeror teased and Nieve just grinned. He was like a brother to her, and a great listener, especially during those dark years after the Lord of the Forest's untimely death.
"Yes sadly the only thing I had to report was the light which I figured you had already investigated. Everything else seems fine though. It also seems the people of Atlantia have been busy crossing over to Liridale at least three.
Nieve gave Emeror a gentle frown, just as she took a seat in her throne. "Curious." She said, why would Merfolk of Atlantia enter Liridale, it wasn't as if the waters were warm there. "Where is Con'Ken.." Emeror asked, breaking Nieve from her thoughts. "He is watching over the portal, a girl entered through there, same as Demetri, thankfully the only one to reach it before us, was Demetri himself, He is keeping the girl with him, I suspect about three more OtherWorlders to enter through before the portal closes." Nieve said and just then a same ferret came darting toward her. Nieve rose and met the creature halfway, She reached down with a hand to allow the creature to crawl up her arm. "Victor, you seem distraught, How may I be of assistance?" She asked the creature as she ran her free hand over it's pelt in hopes to keeping it calmed.

She stared up at the tall man as he approached her. He was slow and looked cautious and she could feel the adrenaline begin to rush through her body as he got closer and closer.
"Greetings Traveler. My name is Con'Ken I am a guard of The Lady of the Forest. You ferret friend is running toward our kingdom. Do you need help?" He said. His voice was slightly gruff and deep.
Looking around she saw that the animals that had been with her had gone, leaving her alone with this man. He did not seem threatening in anyway but than again...
"Why are you so tall and Hairy? You know you look really scary from where I am sitting." She felt herself blurt out unconsciously before she covered her mouth with both her hands, eyes widening a tad.
Why, oh why couldn't she hold her tongue for once! Just once when a big scary man was standing right in front of h... "Wait, who is the Lady of the forest? And is she going to be a giant tree ent or something like in lord of the rings!?" More words came directly from her brain and out of her mouth within seconds, slightly muffled by her hands but still understandable.

Faramir Elessar and Eldeen the Unicorn

Faramir sat in his quiet and small cathedral built in the heart of the Pale Crystal Hallow. It was the home of the Unicorn keepers. The Hallow was a magical place bathe in moonlight eternally. It is said that the moon’s shine is always visible via a magical portal in the sky sustained by the unicorns. Pale Crystal Hallow remained quiet and compared to the usual comings and goings in the rest of the Morinae kingdom. Faramir stood from his seat and headed outside where he could stand in the light of the moon. He knelt down and clasped his hands together in prayer.

Looking up to the moonlight Faramir prayed gently, ”Oh Great Moon which shines it’s wisdom down from the heavens, bring clarity to this clouded vision of mine. A light shine down and a connection was made that had long since occurred in this realm. What would you have the Unicorns and their Keepers do? Oh Great Moon impart your wisdom.” As Faramir prayed the moonlight began to bean down with a soft blue intensity. After a few moments, Faramir stood to his feet and the moonlight returned to its normal degree of brightness. “I understand.” Faramir said calmly as he looked to see Eldeen standing nearby.

Eldeen’s mane glistened and sparkled with the moonlight and his graceful horn shined as if made of crystal. “What has the Great Moon told you Prince Faramir?” Eldeen asked Faramir as he communicated telepathically.

Faramir looked somewhat stoically as he replied, “We must see the Lady of the Wood. It has been sometime since we have spoken with one another. It seems we must leave our beloved Pale Crystal Hallow. Please tell the other Keepers of our imminent travel plans, so that they are prepared to protect the Hallow from trespassers in our absence.” With that Eldeen departed to prep the Keepers of the Hallow.

Within a few hours, Faramir and Eldeen departed from the Pale Crystal Hallow and entered Morinae proper. The sun shined down through the trees gently and the birds sang sweetly. Faramir smiled as he gazed at the trees and the sunlight. “It has been a while, Oh Dear Friend of the Great Moon.” Faramir said as he spoke to the sun itself. It had been a long while since Faramir had stepped out into the sunlight, and yet it did not bother him nor did his eye need adjusting to the chance in light. He and Eldeen walked through the forest and into the palace area. Upon reaching his destination he and Eldeen noticed a man of seemingly notable strength. Faramir also noticed a young woman who appeared a bit flustered. Nevertheless, Faramir spoke to the guardian of the palace, “Greetings from Pale Crystal Hallow. I am Faramir Elessar, Prince of the Unicorn Keepers. This is Eldeen Lord of Unicorns. Please grant me audience with the Lady of the Wood, for I much desired to speak with her.” Faramir said as he bowed in a manner particular to Unicorn Keepers.

Theodred, King of Aravale

Theodred smiled deeply as she said "For you." He looked back into her eyes staring at her. He wrapped his arms around her, pulled her in and kissed her forehead. "So my dear shall I clear the rest of my schedule and walk through the garden with you. We can do like we did when my brother was king and we were just courting each other." He smiled at her the years showing in his laugh lines on his face.

Casper Lazurus

Casper walked to the outside of town to a shady part of it. He had a contact to meet and job to fulfill. Casper walked up on the hooded man. "What do you have for me today?" The hooded man pulled out a scroll with a locked case around it. He handed it to Casper and turned away from him leaving only Casper and the scroll. Casper walked back to his house and used his key to open the scroll case. He looked over the scroll and realized how big this job was. "So I'm to steal from Dunmarr looking for a particular staff. May be in the Sorceress's house? Well I have my work cut out for me." He took a quick nap and gathered his equipment. He left for the Kingdom of Dunmarr hoping to go through this smoothly.

Con'Ken

Con'ken laughed at the girls comment about his body. "I'm a werewolf but you have nothing to fear miss." He kneeled next to her reaching out a hand to her. He looked confused about her comment. "The Lady of the Forest is a beautiful woman who protects the kingdom of Morinae and the surrounding area. I think it would be best if I take you to her."

Con'Ken realized the were not only and turned to meet this keeper eye to eye. "Greetings Faramir. I am Con'Ken guard of Morinae. If you truly wish to see The Lady then go this way" Points to the east. "She should be there in the castle."

Emeror Dredenthin

Emeror looks over the ferret and then looked through the door. His eyes flashed the dark black as he looked out over the woods. "His path seems to come from the west Nieve." He created a copy of himself and had a small conversation with himself. The clone ran off into the woods but not to the west but towards Liridale. "Lady I apologize acting with out orders but my shadow is scouting. I felt a strong shadow magic ripple from Liridale."

Smiling when the man laughed Roxy relax her whole body, people who were evil couldn't laugh like that.
"I'm a werewolf but you have nothing to fear miss." He said smiling down at her, before continuing looking a bit perplexed about her comment on ents, "The Lady of the Forest is a beautiful woman who protects the kingdom of Morinae and the surrounding area. I think it would be best if I take you to her."
"Well if she could help me than that's cool and I like pretty people, they are really pretty!" Roxy said before taking Con'Kens hand and pulling herself up, "Thanks!" She said again before she began to follow the man.
They walked in relative silence but Roxy was to busy looking around at everything that she didn't really notice. Finally they arrived at some kind of place which was when she spotted a man and a... A... 'A UNICORN!!!! OMG YAY!!!' Was the thought going through her mind.
"Greetings from Pale Crystal Hallow. I am Faramir Elessar, Prince of the Unicorn Keepers. This is Eldeen Lord of Unicorns. Please grant me audience with the Lady of the Wood, for I much desired to speak with her.” The man walking along side the unicorn said to Con'Ken.
"Greetings Faramir. I am Con'Ken guard of Morinae. If you truly wish to see The Lady then go this way" He said while pointing to the east. "She should be there in the castle."
"My names Roxy and that unicorn is really pretty can I please touch it?!" She asked without thinking, her eyes sparkling as she looked at the creature with an awed expression.

Faramir the Unicorn Keeper

"My names Roxy and that unicorn is really pretty can I please touch it?!" She asked without thinking, her eyes sparkling as she looked at the creature with an awed expression.

After Con’ken and Roxy introduced themselves, Faramir and Eldeen headed in the direction that Con’Ken had pointed them in. “I am most grateful Guardian Con’Ken. It is a pleasure to meet you both.” Faramir was somewhat tickled at Roxy’s reaction to Eldeen. It was easy for Faramir to forget that others seldom see unicorns. The unicorn keeper giggled a bit. Faramir replied, “You may ask Eldeen himself. He can speak to you.” His face bore a gentle and amused smile.

Eldeen’s horn began to glow slightly. The unicorn looked at the young woman and his voice began to resonate in the hearts of everyone present. “Hello young one. As Prince Faramir said, I am able to speak. Unicorns speak to the heart. I am truly flattered that you find me pretty. You may touch me young one. It is alright.” Eldeen said, his voice warm and wise. Afterward the four went into the presence of the Lady of the Wood.

Faramir looked at the Lady of the Wood and a relieved expression crossed his face. It had been quite some time since he had laid eyes on her. It seems that she had not changed a fraction since he had last saw her. Faramir felt nostalgia sprinkle down on him like a gentle summer rain. Faramir bowed at Nieve whom held a furry ferret. “Lady Nieve, it has been too long. Greetings from Pale Crystal Hallow. I do hope my lady still recognizes me, Faramir?” Faramir smiled gently as he looked at Nieve.

“I come on behave of the Great Moon on the premise of a vision bestowed upon me. I am under the impression that another human has fallen into light and thus become entrapped in our realm. I desired to ask what you knew of this. Also the Great Moon has informed me that a great conflict is upon the world and that the young man that fell into our world will be a central force in that conflict. If the world is to know trouble, what are your plans for the Kingdom of Morinae? I am most concerned with the fate of Pale Crystal Hallow. The Great Moon tells me that choice is key. Will you choose the boy? Will Morinae follow your most wise leadership if should choose him?” Faramir spoke calmly. This matter was of great importance.

“I am most grateful Guardian Con’Ken. It is a pleasure to meet you both." Faramir said before giggling, “You may ask Eldeen himself. He can speak to you.” He smiled gently, with amusement in his eyes.
Roxy watched in excitement as the unicorns horn began to glow and she started to hear the unicorns voice inside her, “Hello young one. As Prince Faramir said, I am able to speak. Unicorns speak to the heart. I am truly flattered that you find me pretty. You may touch me young one. It is alright.”
She grinned happily as she began to stoke the unicorns soft, silky mane. She ran her finger through his hair and watched as it fell back down to rest against the unicorns back. "I love your hair! It's really silky and shinny." Roxy giggled as she walked along side the group of 3 as they made their ways towards the castle Con'ken had pointed out.
Arriving before the lady of the woods, Roxy couldn't help but gasp at the women's pretty appearence, that is before she noticed the familiar furry object being held by the lady.
Before she could say anything faramir did, “Lady Nieve, it has been too long. Greetings from Pale Crystal Hallow. I do hope my lady still recognizes me, Faramir? smiling gently at the lady before continuing, “I come on behave of the Great Moon on the premise of a vision bestowed upon me. Will you choose the boy? Will Morinae follow your most wise leadership if should choose him?” Faramirs expression was serious and even Roxy somehow managed to hold her tongue, through she had no clue what they were talking about it seemed important.
Instead she occupied herself with having a staring contest with the familiar ferret. It was fun and distracting but she eventually had to blink and therefore lost the game. What happened next she didn't really expect, victor hopped out from the women's hold and scurried across the floor until he reached Roxy's feet, looking up at her with puppy dog eyes, asking her to hold him.
Bending down she picked up the little ferret and cuddled it to her chest.
"I am glad your okay!" Victor squeaked up at her causing her to smile.
"I am, that scary man over there found me and brought me here, don't worry through he might look scary he is really nice!" Roxy responded, causing both of them to glance at Con'Ken and giggle quietly together. "We also met Faramir and Eldeen! I really like Eldeen he is so pretty and really nice! He let me touch his hair and it was really soft!" She continued in excitement towards the little ferret.
"Well, while you have been stroking unicorns I have been trying to help out!" Victor pouted up at her for her lack of reconganation towards his efforts to help her.
"I know that silly! And that's why you are my favourite animal in the world, even if Eldeen is prettier." She laughed at the little ferrets face, teasing him.

Casper Lazurus

Everything was going good. He hadn't ran into a guard there seemed to be no traps and everything was just perfect. Until he touched the staff and he felt it call out to its master. Unlike most humans Casper saw magic as a tool but sadly he had none of his own. As he turned around getting ready to make a hasty escape a women appeared before him in the door. "Oh by the gods."

"One more move, vermin, and I will have you dead!" She shouted as she moved into a stance showing that she was ready to cast. He put his hands in the air droping the staff at his side. "I apologize my lady it seems I have lost my way and saw this staff and it called to me." A lie but it would gauge who this was. "Do you know who this house belongs to? I wish to issue an apology as it seems my wandering has got me into trouble again." She was beautiful who ever she was.

"There is no reason to cast miss I will come peacefully." He put his hands on the back of his head.

Theodred, King of Aravale

Theodred smiled at his wife and nodded. "My dear it can be very troublesome and with portal open again trouble is sure to follow, but if nothing else we have each other. We have our loyal people and we have our allies. As the problems will arise we shall handle them like a royals should." He pulled her onto his lap and laid his head against her chest. "I'm glad we hired that new gardener the last one was not very good at his job."

Con'Ken & Emeror Dredenthin

Con'Ken lead the unicorn keeper and the young female to the lady and stood behind them as they spoke to Nieve. He smiled at her and then went to take his leave but bumped into Emeror on the way out. "Evening Emeror how is the patrolling going?"
Emeror responded "Quiet in fact it seemed as though everything is still because the portal." Con'Ken shook his head and headed out of the castle and down the steps. On his way out he meet a citizen of this land a young dark fae.

"Evening Kal'xio. You seem well." COn'Ken leaned against a nearby pillar.

Emeror had been standing with the Lady when Con'ken had lead the two people to her. The male was a unicorn keeper and had brought a unicorn with him it seems. The other was human but she seemed to be able to speak to the animals around her. She seemed young in her actions which made him curious. He walked up to her and put out his hand introducing him self. "I am called Emeror, Miss traveler and might I say you have quite a special gift." He swirls his hand around and makes a small rose from shadow and handed it to her "As do all of us. You are among friends."

Patience

Patience grew bored of his current mission as he waited for his demons to come back and report to him. He smiled and drew a blade from his cloak. He cut a small mark into his wrist and using the dark greenish poison, he created a summoning circle made from his blood. "Oh granter of desires, keeper of lust and demon of excess, I call to thy Shaiyla." He didn't know if it would work but hey if it did he wouldn't be bored anymore. He laughed to himself and waited.

Her conversation with victor was disrupted when a tall, dark hair elf(?) Walked towards her and held his hand out in introduction. "I am called Emeror, Miss traveler and might I say you have quite a special gift." Emeror said before swirling his hand around and creating a small, delicate rose out of thin air causing Roxy's eyes to widen in surprise, before handing it to her, "As do all of us. You are among friends." He continued.
Staring down at the rose, Roxy turned to look at him with a happy smile, "Thanks! That was amazing! How did you just create this flower out of thin air?! Oh and my names Roxy, so just call me that!" She grinned at him before turning her gaze back to victor, "It's a bit strange, and maybe the lady of the forest could explain it to me, but I have never been able to speak to animals before. I have always loved them but I could never understand them..." Her expression suddenly turned forlorn for a second, a sad smile gracing her lips, "It's a shame it's all my imagination... That I will have to return home soon..." Roxy mumbled out quietly it was almost impossible to hear, however as soon as the sadness has come it was gone and she was grinning back at Emeror, "Your really kind Em, it's nice to meet you! And thanks, I could use some friends for once!"
She felt Victor bumb her hand and she turned her gaze once again at the small ferret, "What it Vic?" She asked him in confusion.
"Bring me closer to your face." The little ferret said as Roxy obayed his orders, looking a little confused. Once closer to her cheek, the small ferret extended its tongue and gave her cheek a quick, comforting lick. Gasping in surprise she stared at her little friend before bursting into giggles.
"Thanks Vic, I needed that!" She said between her giggles before turning back to Emeror. "Hay Em, how old are you? You look younger than everyone else for some reason." Glancing around the room to punctuate her point. "For some reason everyone here just feels older than they look... Hay you have really pointy ear Em, are you an elf?

Nieve, Lady of the Forest.

Nieve turned her hand as Con'Ken arrived with a spritely young woman and the Unicorn Keeper, Faramir. Nieve smiled as Faramir greeted her.

"Ah, Indeed, I do, How nice it is to see you again." Nieve said as the small ferret made his way down her arm and off to the girl. Nieve noted the girls gift but hadn't time to think on it as Faramir spoke once more.

He went on about the humans arrival and the inner conflict between the Kingdoms.

"I will call Council in regards to the Kingdoms matter but as for the human, the portals. It seems they have opened up again. You have an OtherWorlder in your company." She said and nodded her head toward the girl with the ability to speak with the animals.

It made her wonder what OtherWorld was like. How similar was it to thier world. Some of which she knew of constant talks with Demetri but with this girl, and her ability, she was almost Fae like.

"Faramir, you are more then welcome to stay and assist in our investigation of this portal matter if you like. I will need this to be handle before we move on to the matter of the Kingdoms." She said calmly. Honestly it's been troubling her, leaving her in a state of melancholy and she sometimes didn't want to think of such things as War. The last war, eons ago, took her love from her, she was not prepared to go back to that dark time.

She looked over at the girl again, just as she bombared Emeror with questions of his hertiage.

"He is Fae, Like myself," She said, walking over with an easy smile, a quick one to Emeror. "Kin to Elves but different in ways. You, my dear, are Fae like yourself." She commented, she needed to know if she were in the slightest bit Fae, surely Emeror noticed it as well. "I am Nieve, The Lady of the Forest, What might your name be, Little one?"

Roxy looked up at the lady of the forest as she answered the question she and asked Emeror, "He is Fae, Like myself," She said, walking over with an easy smile, sending a quick one at Emeror. "Kin to Elves but different in ways. You, my dear, are Fae like yourself." The lady commented, which caused Roxy to looked confused, did the lady think she was fae? "I am Nieve, The Lady of the Forest, What might your name be, Little one?"
"My names Roxy, it's nice to meet you." Roxy smiled at the Nieve, "And what do you mean 'Fae'? You don't think I am one?" Than she stuck her tongue out at the strange thought, "No, I'm human... But than again I have imagined being another creature before... Never a fae through." She smiled up at the lady before glancing down at victor and than back again, "Do you maybe know why I can talk to victor? It's the first time I have been able to do this before, like I said to Em, I love animals but I could never communicate with them." She stroked the young ferrets head softly, smiling down at him kindly.
Her imagination really was getting wilder and wilder each day, maybe she should ask her therapist for stronger drugs... But it was nice here... She could finally talk to the animals she had loved all her life, she was living the life of a story book character, she didnt want to leave this place...
Her eyes grew meloncoly but the smile remained on her face after years of practice at keeping it there, even if she didn't mean it.
These people were kind to her, they didnt call her crazy or run away... They called themselves her friends... She really must be getting desperate if her hallucinations had gotten to this point.
What was it that her therapist said? Oh ya, don't fall in love with the world of your imagination because... It... Not... Real..
Roxy brought her said eyes to met those of the lady's and Emeror's. They weren't real... What a strange thought...

Lolindir Fefalas and Vala the Morning Star

Now there's an interesting word.....business. Yes it is business that brings me to you, and it is you, and consequently your lover, that I wish to do it with. But come, these halls have eyes and ears that are too annoying for me to waste time on. Perhaps you would feel more at ease in your own home. " The strange man said.

Lolindir’s gaze zeroed in on the crimson stranger. “So he knows of Vala and my relationship. What sort of supernatural insight does this man possess?” Lolindir thought to himself. Before Lolindir could say anything, the stranger then waved his hand, as if drawing a curtain, then, the world changed.

It looked and felt as if the two hadn't moved at all, yet the scenery swirled with colors and motion, until not even a moment later, they were standing in Lolindir's study. Lolindir looked about in amazement. They now stood in his own home. “This man must possess strong magic.” Lolindir thought. “Even Vala’s teleportation abilities aren’t on this grand a scale.” With every display of ability the stranger gave Lolindir became further apprehensive.

"There we are, now......you know what." The stranger said with a pause looking about. "You must think me incredibly rude, coming into your house uninvited, come lets away to a place that is owned by no one, therefore none can be offended." Then, the Stranger did as before and the world changed again.

This time, they were on top of a cloud. Not a particularly large cloud, but big enough. It was high in the sky, looking over the land. what land was uncertain. Suddenly, columns and awnings morphed out of the cloud and formed a sort of half circle room around the two, the front opening leaving a breath taking view. A table then materialized with four chairs. The table and chairs both looked to be made out of a white wood of unknown origin.

"There we are," The Stranger said. "Much better. Now, down to business." He sat down across from Lolindir, hands in a pyramid. He motioned for Lolindir to sit.

Lolindir took in his surroundings once more. He was completely unsure of where this location was or how it was possible for them to stand in the sky, on a cloud. However this seemed to be the tip of the iceberg for he had bigger things to focus on. He then sat down as instructed. “What is all this about? How do you know of my connection to Vala or of me?” Lolindir asked. He desperately wanted answers.

"Now, Master Fefalas, I know a lot about you. I know you bear the Star Rune and were banished from your homeland and condemned to the Land of Mages where you could be properly contained.” The stranger began. Lolindir felt a pain in his heart upon hearing words ‘properly contained.’ It brought back memories of being locked away in one of the mages’ towers upon his arrival at Dunmarr and simply giving star readings and astrology reports for the Dunmarr magistrates. It was truly a sorrowful time for Lolindir then.

The stranger continued, “I know, you've found a somewhat life in this land, but you always feel.....distant. You have friends and colleagues but you do not feel like you belong. In fact, you have never had that feeling, even with....No, especially with the Elves. But.....you have found something, in Vala Nonda, a Chooser of the Dead. To which I give my blessings onto, it's beautiful."

Lolindir replied calmly, “I see you indeed well informed. However, you must understand that Vala does not choose who is to die but he is a liaison for the next realm. He meansthe world to me.” Lolindir paused a moment and smiled. “I’ve never been able to speak to anyone about him before now and to be able to admit how dear he is to me aloud to another... It’s such a relief honestly.” Lolindir felt a bit of relief in the thought of Vala, the only person Lolindir could draw strength from.

The Stranger then shifted in his seat. "Unfortunately, your relationship might not survive the coming days. You see......I am very familiar with Vala's kind. I actually know his forebear personally. Though, he and Vala's kin are not of this world, nor am I. Vala is alone here. And, in this world, few die. Even when they should, it seems a force here keeps death balanced. Which is why Vala has such a prominent personality and kind heart, he can afford to. But, in the comings days, war will be upon this world. War like none have ever seen. Lines will be drawn, sides will be taken and blood of all colors and creeds spilled. Vala will change. Slowly at first, he will get frustrated at the senseless death, then sadness, then, he will become tired. It always happens. And the war will go on and on and on and on and on for generations. No stop in sight......unless. Unless his heart is shielded. I can do this for you for a price. Or...with your help, I can perhaps end the war in few days. All I need......with your permission....”

As the stranger spoke of Vala’s supposed fate, Lolindir’s heart was flooded with visions. He saw Vala descend from a cloudy gray sky, beams of sunlight punctured through the thick clouds. The angel was landing over a warzone. Being from all over, fighting and dying. Vala embraced an elf who’d been run through with a spear, left for dead. A warm light consumed the crying elf warrior as Vala embraced him and the elf faded into sparkles of light. Vala looked heavy laden for the elf’s time was sooner than it should have been.

Vala was next to embrace a wicked mage of Liridale who had been dealt a mortal wound in a wizards duel on the battlefield. Vala stood over the dying wizard yet his warm light turned a grim and pale blue color. “You have not atoned for your many depravities and sins sewn into this world by your hands. I Vala, the angel of death, punishment, and atonement, offer you wicked one, one final chance at atonement. Should you repent from the heart now, you can receive death’s warm embrace and be renewed with light in the next realm. What say you? Repent and atone.” Vala spoke with an ominous disposition, the vision frightened Lolindir as he had never seen Vala in such a manner.

The mage replied, “Never, I’m proud to have left my wicked mark of this pitiful world. I’ll be a king in the next!!!” The wicked mage cackled in a painful manner as he was dying.

Vala looked fiercely at the wicked dying mage and frowned. “So be it.” Vala replied and swooped down and grasped the mage tightly. The mage screamed horridly and promptly turned to ash in Vala’s arms. Vala turned toward Lolindir and tears welled up in his eyes. He held his hands outstretched. “Lolindir… help me. Why must the light of love turn to ash in my hands? I’m tired of death and sorrow. Please…”
Lolindir’s vision ended and he let out a deep sigh. Vala would indeed be in peril should the war come to pass. He’s do anything to protect Vala to protect his love, his heart.

The strange crimson continued, “Have access to the Star Rune. Not take it, of course, just grant me but access to it, limit the number of times, if you wish. I need your strength to stop this, together we can save both Vala and this world.....and to you, there is no difference is there?" The Stranger then stood and appeared behind Lolindir.

"Or I could do a more direct favor for you.....such as, I don't know. Help you gain revenge. The Elven Elders that banished you still yet live. As do their spawn. In fact......the Princess is out and about right now, playing in the fields and dreaming of true love. She feels so alone, even though she is surrounded by love. Think of me as a tool. I have no thing within as a heart or morality, I am not mortal or of this world. Whatever you desire, I can give it you. Revenge, Immortality, Divinity, Peace, Knowledge, offspring of your own. I can make it happen. Just help me stop a war and give me access to the Star Rune, even if it only be once. I believe it's a good deal."

He then faced him fully. "What do you say, is it a deal? You don't have to answer now, but I'll need an anwser soon." The Stranger extended a hand to Lolindir.

Lolindir was filled with many emotions. There was much to consider. However he snapped to his senses as he thought about the offers and the wager, the Star Rune. Lolindir needed to be careful. This man offered no information about himself and now he was asking for use of a powerful tool. Lolindir remembered that he needed to be careful. He regained his composure. “Just a moment sir. I am much concerned with the wellbeing of Vala, I love him. However, I must trust that he can handle the responsibility bestowed upon him. I want to protect him, but I must also adhere to my responsibility and that is to guard the Star Rune. What do you intend to do with the Star Rune? How can it prevent the war that both you and I have foreseen? If you would forgive my apprehension, however, what is your exact meaning of saving the world? I believe it could mean different things for different people.” Lolindir wanted so badly to give in to desire, he would love to live happily and peacefully, with a child and his love Vala but things were most never picture perfect. A sad reality but Lolindir was a man well acquainted with grief and sorrows.

Vala Nonda

Vala had flown into the territory of Dunmarr and hovered above the kingdom looking down on Lolindir’s home. He happened to reach his love’s abode just minutes after Lolindir and the mysterious crimson stranger disappeared into the clouds. He lowered down to the ground and knocked on Lolindir’s door. There was no answer. Vala turned the doorknob and stepped inside, a curious look on his face. “Lolindir are you here? Tis Vala.” Vala could see that Lolindir was not there yet he felt even more unsettled. “The energy here is off. The atmosphere is quite unsettled. Where are you Lolindir, what happened?” Vala said to himself as he stood in Lolindir’s home.

Faramir the Unicorn Keeper

"Ah, Indeed, I do, How nice it is to see you again." Nieve said. "I will call Council in regards to the Kingdoms matter but as for the human, the portals. It seems they have opened up again. You have an Other Worlder in your company." She said and nodded her head toward the girl with the ability to speak with the animals.

Faramir raised an eyebrown as he looked toward Roxy. He looked at the young woman with curiosity. He had not noticed that she was not of this world. He was most sure that he would have picked up on such a thing yet he had not. He turned toward Roxy and observed her silently. He was sure he had seen enough to know that he was of no harm to the unicorn forest. Therefore there was no need for him to go on the defensive. “So she is of the other world… Quite interesting. I thought she was a bit aloof of this world’s ways.” Faramir said in a thought filled manner.

"Faramir, you are more than welcome to stay and assist in our investigation of this portal matter if you like. I will need this to be handled before we move on to the matter of the Kingdoms." She said calmly.

Faramir nodded in agreement. “I understand and agree. I shall assist in investigating the matter. I can trust the Unicorn Forest in the care of the other keepers for now. I have not met the boy that has appeared in our world long ago. I should speak with him. I’d like to know more about him.” Faramir replied.

Theodred, King of Aravale

Theodred shook his head at her comment. "Your right I do wonder my dear but when he came through the portal it closed behind him. Now we have a chance to truly ask about the other world." He paused for a second and wondered about something that crossed his mind. "What if we tried to send someone through the portal for recon purposes?"

He ran his hands through her hair and smiled at her. His face was clearly showing other thoughts on his mind but he choose not to voice them.

Casper Lazurus

He realized by her description in the scroll that this might be the Head women of this country. "Yes madam I wondered into the house and I felt a pulse of energy like a calling to myself. I walked into this room and the staff almost welcomed me." He sighed and wondered how long he could hold the lies up before he ether got out or he stumbled. "You see miss I have a condition. I was cursed with a absent minded wandering issue. When I lose focus in what I do I tend to unconsciously wander."

He considered coming clean but first he waited to gauge her response. She could probably kill him before he could even draw the dagger on his shoulder so fighting was out of the question.

Emeror Dredenthin

He smiled at the girl "Yes Roxy your abilities are not unlike those of the citizens of Elvae. If you truly are a Otherworlder then possibly the portal gave you these powers." He found a lot of things about this girl intriguing and did not understand why. He liked that she seemed happy about the rose. "I am much older then I look. Frankly I have lost count of my years. As for my ears I can remove them if the bother you." He ways his hand over his ears and they become unpointed and round like a humans. "I am what the people of this realm call a shifter. I was not born in this kingdom. I can change small parts of my own body nothing to dramatic." He looked at her felt as if the smile put on was off. "Roxy would you like to meet the Elves? If I remember correctly we have an alliance with them. If you wish I could, with Nieve's blessing take you to meet them?"

Roxy looked up and saw Emeror had changed his ears to that of a humans and frowned, "You should keep your pointy ears, thay looked nice." She commented nonchantly before registering the word he had just said and her whole face broke out into a grin.
"Can? Can we really?! I have always wanted to meet elves!!!" She cried in joy, "Can we please go meet them Miss Nieve, pretty please with cherries on top?!"
She was so happy that her body was shaking with the adrenaline that had started to be realised, her eyes sparkled with anticipations and curiosity.
Suddenly there was a squeak from her arms and glancing down she smiled sheepishly at victor as he glare disgruntled back at her, and than suddenly and idea hit, "Can Vic come with us? Nothing beats having a ferret and awesome shapeshifter as company!" Roxy said, looking at Nieve with pleading puppy dog eyes.
