Due to his job as a game tester and his love for technology, Alex is very tech savvy. He can not only play a mean game of Call of Duty, but hack into very high level software and crack into almost anything. Not only is he skilled with Technology, Alex also has a skill with building and fixing things, sometimes in unique ways. Alex is also very persuasive being the kind and honest guy that he is, he is able to easily gain the trust of others.

When Alex sets his mind on something he is determined to see it through. Problem with this is he tends to block out things not related to his primary goal making him a horrible multi-tasker unless technology is involved. Alex is extremely stubborn so even when told the toilet doesn't work he'd be the guy to flush it so see for himself which leads him to a lot of unwanted situations.

Alex has a disease that causes him to occasionally cough up blood and/or pass out which the doctors have yet to find a cure for. It could possibly worsen and even worse become fatal if he does not find a cure. His brother member 2 is the only one who knows this besides himself.

Alex has the ability to control time. He does not jump through time more like rewinds it. He is sure that with full mastery of his ability he would be able to travel longer distances or even forward through time. However, he can currently only travel back with 24 hours. This is do to the strain it puts on is body because of the disease. It seems to worsen every time he uses it and it takes him half the time he traveled before he is able to use his ability again without fear of passing out or worse.

Alexander, the eldest son of Mason and Diana Grant, was a very sickly kid do to his disease. He developed his love for technology and games as they where his only communication with the outside. He would spend countless hours messing with thing seeing what makes them do whatever it is they do. Alexanders health improved enough foe him to be able to go to public school his high school years. He made many friends and was able to fit in with ease being the goofball of most social groups.
One weekend during his senior year Alex witnessed his bother get hit by a rouge car while coming from his friends house across the street. Filled with grief and anger for not getting to him, all he could think of was how he wish he had more time. Before he knew it he was inside the house with that mornings breakfast in front of him. He immediately begin coughing up blood his brother asking if he was okay. After explaining to his brother what happened, Alex's brother amused the idea and stayed home later to witness the rouge care smash into a building down the street.
