It's not 'playing around', I just haven't found a good partner yet.

Daisuke is said to be the literal term for 'Player', his good looks and capability to charm the pants off nearly anyone he wants grants him both popularity and countless love letters. He is known to date then toss numerous girls, toss away every love letter he receives, and flat-out deny a girl's confession towards him; because of all this adding his overly blunt personality, he has quite a few people disliking him as well. He never explains or denies the rumours people spread about him, leaving them to whatever they wish to think.
Looking past all that, he is actually a sweet person. While being playfully flirtations, he is respectable and can be very kind despite his bluntness. He never shows it to anyone other than his friends though. He shows no concern over what people may think of him, never explaining the reasons why he does the things he does. He jokes around a lot, but is very serious when it comes to the right topics. He, luckily, knows how to read moods and leave people be or approach someone. It's very rare to see him panicked and not his usual calm and reserved self.

For however long Daisuke remembered, people always liked making themselves seem the part of the victim, ad the other a villain. Honestly, he was fine with playing the part of the villain if needed. The people who saw through the forced roles would be rare gems, and definitely be someone he would like to meet.
Daisuke has always been called a flirt for most of his life. He's the guy who could get into anyone's pants if wanted, has gotten a kiss from nearly anyone from that one class, he even manages to charm the teachers-- Or so rumour has it. In truth, flirting is just how he socializes, discovering a knack for it during his first few years of middle school. He had gotten used to flirting with anyone, he only saw it as a friendly way of communicating, as it did make many laugh and smile.
Apparently others saw it different. Soon, classmates, people from other classes, then eventually people from other schools confessed to him, ranging from people he barely knew to not at all. Obviously, he denied confessions from the people he didn't know because they didn't even know one another all that well. For the people he did know, he decided to give it a shot or two. He would take them out on dates and have fun with them, but never found himself harbouring any feelings other than friendliness for that person.
It wasn't even two weeks before countless rumours spread after his breakups had spread to everyone's ears, they didn't seem to understand his trail of thought when it came to love and relationships. It didn't affect him all too much, though more and more students did stop talking to him and he'd often find them glaring at him. Daisuke found no reason to change what he was doing though. Why change for others who weren't even giving you a chance? Strangely, he found himself suddenly attracted to the legend of Mirai Gato and the Bravery test that a few other students were going to do together. So, he decided to join them and give it a shot. How bad could it be?
