♔ || Personality || ♔

Flirtatious | Perverted | Blunt | Charismatic

Daisuke is said to be the literal term for 'Player', his good looks and capability to charm the pants off nearly anyone he wants grants him both popularity and countless love letters. He is known to date then toss numerous girls, toss away every love letter he receives, and flat-out deny a girl's confession towards him; because of all this adding his overly blunt personality, he has quite a few people disliking him as well. He never explains or denies the rumours people spread about him, leaving them to whatever they wish to think.

Looking past all that, he is actually a sweet person. While being playfully flirtations, he is respectable and can be very kind despite his bluntness. He never shows it to anyone other than his friends though. He shows no concern over what people may think of him, never explaining the reasons why he does the things he does. He jokes around a lot, but is very serious when it comes to the right topics. He, luckily, knows how to read moods and leave people be or approach someone. It's very rare to see him panicked and not his usual calm and reserved self.

♔ || Bio || ♔

For however long Daisuke remembered, people always liked making themselves seem the part of the victim, ad the other a villain. Honestly, he was fine with playing the part of the villain if needed. The people who saw through the forced roles would be rare gems, and definitely be someone he would like to meet.

Daisuke has always been called a flirt for most of his life. He's the guy who could get into anyone's pants if wanted, has gotten a kiss from nearly anyone from that one class, he even manages to charm the teachers-- Or so rumour has it. In truth, flirting is just how he socializes, discovering a knack for it during his first few years of middle school. He had gotten used to flirting with anyone, he only saw it as a friendly way of communicating, as it did make many laugh and smile.

Apparently others saw it different. Soon, classmates, people from other classes, then eventually people from other schools confessed to him, ranging from people he barely knew to not at all. Obviously, he denied confessions from the people he didn't know because they didn't even know one another all that well. For the people he did know, he decided to give it a shot or two. He would take them out on dates and have fun with them, but never found himself harbouring any feelings other than friendliness for that person.

It wasn't even two weeks before countless rumours spread after his breakups had spread to everyone's ears, they didn't seem to understand his trail of thought when it came to love and relationships. It didn't affect him all too much, though more and more students did stop talking to him and he'd often find them glaring at him. Daisuke found no reason to change what he was doing though. Why change for others who weren't even giving you a chance? Strangely, he found himself suddenly attracted to the legend of Mirai Gato and the Bravery test that a few other students were going to do together. So, he decided to join them and give it a shot. How bad could it be?

ImageThe time is 18:00 PM, and the ten students, who have dared to do the Bravery Test, are now preparing to go to the haunted, old clubhouse. Some are still at home, grabbing their phones and anything else that would give them a sense of safety for that night. The others are trying to get into the school, since the gates were shut and it wasn't much of an easy task to get in. The rest of the group was already there, making the sticks for pulling, (Rhia: Keep in mind that this is literally the groups on the intro page!) waiting for the others. Inside the building, however, something seems to be roaming the halls...

~~~
Maiko looked at the school's wall that was connected to the locked gate. She brought with her a small bag with water, some medical supplies, a flashlight and a few extra batteries along with the flares for the five groups. How'd she get them? Her dad was a scientist, it wasn't very difficult.
Her three siblings were at home, but they were already asleep, or about to go asleep, and her dad was home to watch over them. Maiko didn't like lying, so she told a partial truth by saying to him that she was out with a few of her friends. This was completely fine with him, and so she was able to leave.
But she forgot that the gates were locked. The wall was probably the only easiest way to get over. 'This... looks a bit difficult...' Maiko thought to herself while she stared up at the wall, which was much taller than she was. After all, she was just a short 5'2 high schooler who was going to have to learn how to scale a 6'4 wall. 'Um... Maybe I should try climbing the tree?' But she has a skirt on. Maybe it was nighttime, but that didn't give a girl to allow herself to lift her skirt.
Still... what other way was there? She could hardly touch the top of the wall.
To lighten up the load, Maiko tossed the bag holding all the supplies over the wall with a little difficulty, seeing how heavy it was for her, and began to try and figure out how to climb the old tree, covered in cobwebs and ants. Surely she still remembered how to climb a tree... It was a small tree also, and one that was easy to climb (despite all the webs and insects on it). Even a sophisticated girl like Maiko used to climb trees when she was little. She did it often with her siblings after they were adopted.
After taking a deep breath, almost like this were a challenging task, and placed her hand on the tree. An ant crawled over her hand and she almost shrieked. Maiko didn't do well with insects, even if they were feeble and mere ants. The girl shook her hand until it fell off and made a quick attempt up the tree to prevent any more bugs from crawling on her. It wasn't that bad, but then the height became a problem. Two of her most feared things in one night? Superb.
This time, she did cry out quietly, even though the tree wasn't very tall. This ended up with her immediately falling off, thankfully, on the right side. At least something good came from her facing her fear of heights and insects. It was lucky fall too because she fell on the soft bag below her. Maiko felt dizzy for a moment and let out a soft groan, "That hurt..." She mumbled to herself while she slowly got off the ground, picking up her bag, and beginning to search around for where the old club house was, where everyone else was supposed to be.
(Rhia: So, as I stated, you can either be at the club building, at home getting ready, or, like Maiko, making your way towards the club building. Try to be at the club building by your second post so we can get things going though!)
Daisuke inhaled a steadying breath to follow the sigh, and he felt his hands still before he raised them to his chest once more. He wasn't so much as scared as he were simply wondering about possibilities of dangers-- The club building standing before him looked tattered and worn, he'd be less then surprised if anything gave out with their weight. Unwavering green hues looked the abandoned wreck of a building up and down carefully, taking in every corner of it. No matter from which angle, this scenery looked like it came directly out of some horror movie. Honestly, he could start to see why kids turned this place into their setting of their little rumours. The atmosphere certainly held up along with the rumour, he was starting to feel uncomfortable facing the building alone right now as well.
Thinking back, he'd only join because hadn't a thing better to do on that day. So... Why not see how many times he could experience something similar of a heart attack in one day? Not to mention, the legend of Mirai Gato did interest him in some way, he pitied her. It must have been lonely, being alone for so long; finding a pillar to lean on, only to have it crumble down on you one day. Wouldn't that have made any sane individual snap? The teen found the most frightful part not to be the massacre (though that did send chills down his spine too), but instead how realistic the scenario was. In both the past and nowadays, he could see many doing something as hurtful as that.
--That was just how he saw it, at least.
Re-adjusting the bag he'd sloppily slung onto his shoulders, he momentarily turned away from the uncomfortable sight. Daisuke was pretty careless when it came to packing, he could almost foresee himself later on realizing he'd left something important at home. "Right-- Let's see here... Flash light, spare battery, portable charging device, phone, water bottle, and a store-bought bento." He allowed his jaw to relax, his body following as feet paced back and forth. With a heavier sigh than the one which had come earlier, the teen leaned back against the nearby rusted gate and folded his arms against his stomach.
Right hand moved and turned over so that his wrist faced him, showing the time on his watch. 18:10. It'd only been 10 minutes. He made a mental note not to come out this early if anything like this happened again, there was only so much boredom one could take. Admittedly, the club building didn't make him feel any better. Surprisingly. Suppressing the urge to take out his phone to try and beat his own high score in the mobile game he'd invested himself into at the moment in order to save power. No matter, he doubted he could pass it anyway. Stupid yellow bird with no knowledge of flight, stupid pipes that appear out of nowhere.
I wonder what's she doing right now, probably getting ready and trying to make the most of this night. Takehiko thought amusingly as thoughts of Konatsu came and left his mind in the passing moments. As he dug out his phone from his pocket, and with swift maneuvers of his thumb the blonde boy pressed away at the buttons that decorated his phone. Just a little reminder.
Don't be late - Miss you. xxx
With the message sent he placed the device back into his pocket and continued on his way to the old building. Earlier, Takehiko had already organized his things and knew exactly what he'd be needing for the test. Flashlight, snacks, phone -- all the essentials. He also brought a backpack with him to carry all his things in, along with a blanket, battery's and a few bottles of juice. Maybe he was over packed?
Strolling along Takehiko soon found himself outside of the school gate, prompting himself to throw over his backpack before heaving himself over it with slight difficulty. As he landed on the ground on the other side the boy wondered briefly if Konatsu would be able to get over as he did, which persuaded him to hang around nearby and keep a look-out for the girl. When she arrives I can help her over, makes sense, yeah.
Picking up his bag, it was only then that he vaguely hear a few voices, though didn't bother to invest much attention to them initially. Wonder who's already here? Sounds like some people have already arrived. Looking around, Takehiko noticed a familiar looking boy. Emi.
"No way, Emi, your here before me?" He said in a joking tone. Offering a smile, Takehiko followed the boy's line of sight and quickly recognized the other two girls nearby. "Maiko and Airi! You guys are here too?" Though they all had a bit of a walk to go before they were officially there it still made sense to him. "Figured I might've been first here, guess not though. Hope you all came prepared for tonight."
Digging out his phone again he quickly began texting Konatsu.
Meet you at the gates. I'm already here. xxx
Putting away his phone, Takehiko returned his focus to the boy and girls once more whilst he waited for Konatsu.
Hayato stepped out of the shower and started to get ready to head to the club building. His heart was pounding at the thought of Maiko being there. He was completely confident in himself, but when he was around her his nerves always seemed to get the best of him and would either be to shy and awkward to say anything or what he wanted, or he would be even more egotistical to the point were he would even annoy himself. Their was no balance for him and he couldn't figure it out it was as if she was everything he wanted to be, but couldn't their was just something special about her compared to everyone else. 17:10pm, he wanted to get there early so that he wouldn't have to be the person who always walks into the group. He threw on a tee-shirt and the high school swim team jacket along with a pair of jeans. Every glance felt like a year as his heart keep pounding, Hayato tried to stay calm and laid down on his bed since the school was only a twenty minute walk. When it was about 17:30 he got together somethings and threw them in a bag, a single flashlight, a snack, and some mints just in case. He locked the door of his house and set off towards the school.
As he walked towards the school he remembered the whole rumors about the old place and shivers went down his spine. Hayato had never been good with spooky things and usually avoid them all together, but Maiko was doing it and this would be really his only chance to really get close to her since they aren't really in the same social circles. Without his knowledge Hayato noticed that he slowly began to walk slower and slower, the thought of a murderous girl roaming the halls was absolutely terrifying. "Shes not real you are a man you will protect Maiko." He repeated to himself. Though no matter how many times he said it his hand still had a slight shake. It was to late now though to back off he had already reached the gate.
Just as he got to the gate he realized he had forgot his watch and as he went to pull out his phone noticed he didn't bring any extra batteries or ways of recharging his phone. Hayato dropped to his knees and dropped his head to the ground. "I am going to die. Why of all times did I have to forget any batteries." He said quietly to himself. Quickly he raised his head looking around to make sure no one had seen him, he stood up and looked at the looked gate. The wall seemed easy enough to get over if he got a running start on it. Hayato threw over his bag and got a running start on the wall and after a quick leap grabbed the top of it and pulled himself over landing with smack on the other side. His phone read 18:12 and as he approached the building it seemed only one other person was there before him, Daisuke, which put a little ease to his mind knowing that he wouldn't have to stand around alone out side a place that looked as if it was made to be scary.
Now all that was left was to wait. Sadly Maiko wasn't the first to get their he would enjoy any extra time outside this haunted place with her more.
With his bag slung over his right shoulder, Kasumi looked around the club building, where everyone was supposed to meet, as he walked towards the old and grim building. As he got closer, he could only see one boy who he usually wouldn't know the name of but he was pretty sure the guy's name was Daisuke. Plenty of times, Kasumi's studying was interrupted by giggling girls in class who talked about how cute boys were and especially he heard Daisuke's name be thrown out of their mouths a lot. More overly, he recognized the boy from the countless of rumors that were gossiped about the blonde which Kasumi was never interested in but many students loved to talk about it. The boy seemed to be busy on his cellphone, well more with a game that aggravated many and especially Einosuke since he couldn't get a very high score like Kasumi had. Kasumi decided there was no need to talk with the guy since the night was about a test of bravery rather than meeting new people, which he disliked to do, but he gave Daisuke a polite nod.
The brunette continued to walk closer to the tattered club building and found himself a spot to relax which was sitting down with his back against the old brick walls, a few feet away from the gate. Kasumi criss-crossed his legs and set his bag in his lap before rummaging through it to see if he had everything he needed. Two flashlight..batteries..home work and mechanical pencils...portable charger and my cellphone. He checked off a list in his head as he searched through his bag. He figured his blonde friend would forget to buy a flashlight or just not care enough to get one from the store, so he bought the guy on as a just in case. Kasumi decided to pull out his home work and continue to get it done. Of course, he would have had it done sooner but Ein came over and insisted on bugging him about wanting to play a new video game he just got on Kasumi's older brothers X-box. As he traced the led across the piece of paper that was his calculus home work, he couldn't help but think about why he was even here in the first place. Bravery test's? It wasn't the ideal way to spend his night and honestly even ten people gathered in one place was too big for him. Kasumi heaved a sigh as he remembered what-- well who got him to do this bravery test in the first place. Einosuke.. His best friend insisted on it and Kasumi blew the guy off four times when the request was made but eventually he caved in. What made him cave in to Einosuke's request was the constant sighing and moaning out of despair that Ein kept doing every time while Kasumi was trying to do work and or study. In all reality, Kasumi wasn't sure why anyone would want to do a Bravery Test. Jump scares and thrills weren't all that fun but then again, he didn't get most things other kids his age did. Like his dad always said, Kasumi was like an old soul trapped in a young body.
His stomach began to growl and Kasumi wrapped his arm around his stomach once he heard it. He had forgotten to eat something on the way out but in his defense his father insisted on cooking tonight and he didn't want to stick around for his father's food. The man could even make spicy food turn out plain which his kids never figured out how he got to be that bad at cooking. Kasumi put away the home work and pulled out his cellphone. It was a plain red flip phone with two key chains attached to it. One key chain had a goldfish at the end of it while the other had a koi fish at the end of the key chain. He flipped his cellphone open as his thumb pressed on a few buttons. After he was done, he lifted the phone up to his ear. and waited for the dial tone and for someone to pick up. "Ein, I'm hungry..." The brunette leaned his head back as he listened to his friend reply. "Can you? Please, I'll pay you back when you get here. I promise." Kasumi knew his friend couldn't-- no wouldn't deny this one tiny request. A small pleasing smile swept his face as he nodded his head and muttered, "Thanks.", then snapped his phone shut and stuffed it inside his bag. Hopefully everyone would be getting here soon, especially Ein since Kasumi was soooo hungry.
ImageFinally! The night has come! Einosuke thought as he stared down at his bed, looking at all the things he gathered up for the night, though he didn't seem to have anything that would actually help. Among the things lying on the bed was his cellphone, two boxes of matches, a pocket knife, and a very light backpack that only carried the teddy bear he got as a child but it was also brought to help Kasumi carry any of his belongings. Einosuke started to pack his things, he slipped the knife and matches into his left coat pocket, his cellphone hanging off a small chain connected to his waist on his left side, and the backpack slung over his shoulders. He knew he was definitely ready for anything now, he would head out the door after he checked up on his mother. Einosuke exited his room and went down the hall into the living room where she was passed out across the couch, earlier he slipped a medication to help her with sleeping. Einosuke covered the woman with a warm blanket, kissed her on the forehead and then headed out the door to catch a bus to the club building.
Einosuke wasn't sure what to think about this whole Bravery Test, he asked Kasumi countless times to join him in it but it wasn't like he believed in the supernatural anyway, he was more surprised that Kasumi hadn't asked him about it actually because Kasumi was pretty observant when it came to things like this. Truth of it all, Einosuke was hoping to get Kasumi scared tonight, he knew ghosts weren't real but the imagination could run wild in a scary place like the old school building. Einosuke was looking forward to see if anything could scare his beloved Kasumi, he also loved the thought of being close to Kasumi. Lately he hasn't been as free to hang out with Kasumi as he'd like to be, so this night was sure to make up for most of his absence.
After walking a few feet away from his apartment, he hoped onto a bus and took a seat on the back of the bus. Einosuke pulled out his phone, looking through his apps and frowning as that stupid flapping bird appeared, he said he would never play that again but the game was so infuriating that he had to try and beat Kasumi's score. A picture of Kasumi slurping up ramen appeared on his phone and it vibrated within his hands, he was getting a call from his best friend. "No hello? Just another command like i'm some sort of dog.." Einosuke grinned lightly as he leaned his head back, looking at the ceiling for a moment before answering the other again. "Alright, i'll go out and buy you some snacks. See you in a bit." With that the blonde got off the bus, a few feet away from the area he was supposed to meet Kasumi at but he had to turn around and grab some snacks for the spoiled friend. While he was at the small convenience store, picking up snacks like chips, two bento boxes, strawberry flavored pockys, and soda, Einosuke was also able to get a guy to buy him some cigarettes since he was still a minor and could not buy it for himself.
Instead of going to the front of the building, Einosuke took the back where there seemed to be an easier locked gate to go through. He took out his pocket knife and put the tip into the lock, twisting and turning until the lock finally fell off. He pushed the gate open and closed it behind himself, making his way to where everyone was meeting at. Einosuke found the smaller brunette sitting up against a red brick wall, he walked over to Kasumi and sat down beside him. Opening his backpack and digging through it to retrieve a bento box, Einosuke handed it to Kasumi then pulled out a cigarette for himself. "I brought a lot of food so if you get hungry just look through it and get what you like." Einosuke lighted the cigarette with a match and inhaled deeply before exhaling, trying to avoid getting any smoke in Kasumi's face considering the brunette didn't like the smell of smoke at all. The red eyed male looked around for a moment, he saw a few faces but not many, he wondered when everyone would get here.
ImageColette tucked in her little brother to sleep. Johnson always slept early, especially since he just came back from the big time shift from England. Colette and her family were foreigners, but they seemed to be able to speak Japanese perfectly. Johnson and his mother (Colette's stepmother) just returned after their year of vacation. He was still getting used to the time shifts.
A little beforehand, Colette had told her tired mother and her hardworking father that she'd be hanging out with a few of her friends that night after dinner. Her mother was far to tired to give her an actual answer and so she asked her father who told her to keep an ear out for her phone when it rang or vibrated. They were always still protective of their little girl.
Colette brought a small purse, since she didn't feel the need to bring much, even though she was scared out of her mind for what was going to be happening in that haunted club building. Her phone, a mini water bottle, a mini flashlight, and a few bandaids incase someone got her, especially her, being as clumsy as she is.
"I'll be back in a few hours." She called quietly to her sleepy mother, sleeping brother, and father who was trying to keep himself awake as he worked on his computer. No one responded since the whole house seemed to be falling into a deep sleep, but she knew what they'd say. Probably something like, 'Don't stay out too late' or 'Make sure to call once and a while to check in.' 'I'm not a kid anymore though...' She thought with a frown on her face, which made her look more like a child than a young teenager.
Colette has a very small frame, and knows the back of the school quite well, since her home is behind the school rather than on the sides of in front of it. Every day she'd enter from a tiny opening in the walls which was just small enough for her to squeeze through if she tried hard enough, which is exactly how she got into the school this time. Colette's eyes weren't used to the coming darkness yet, so it was a bit hard to see where she was going and where she was in the school, but eventually, she found herself arriving at the right place: the haunted club building.
'T-This is scarier than I thought it'd be...' Colette said while she looked up at the building, her legs wobbling a bit. She gulped, but then forced a brave smile on her face and told herself, 'But there's nothing in there! It'll be fun! I'll meet more people and we can become friends!' Somehow, telling herself this managed to calm her down a lot.
When she went around the rest of the building, she ended up at the front, spotting Daisuke, Hayato, Kasumi, and Einosuke, waiting at the front. She didn't know them as well as she'd hope too, but it wasn't like she was going to let them all stand in silence, "Hey, you four!" She shouted to them all, although she tried to keep her voice down. It was just so quiet and all, and it didn't seem appropriate to start yelling, so she lowered her voice when she approached the four and asked, "Have you all been here for very long?" She looked around, "We didn't come too early, did we?" Unlike her parents, Colette's Japanese speech as not very smooth and understandable compared to the actual Japanese students. It was a bit choppy with her accent, but at least people could get the idea of what she was saying.
Image“Do you happen to have some bandages?” Maiko heard someone's voice just after she got back up.
This girl wasn't even afraid of the legend of Mirai, so a voice behind her wouldn't scare her the least bit. She turned around and found herself looking at a girl with black hair covering one of her eyes with both her hands. She didn't say anything, just staring at her for a while before then exclaiming, "Oh! You're Airi, aren't you?" She asked, remembering her face around school during the day. She kneeled down on the ground and rummaged through all the things she'd packed, moving the flares to the side along with the flashlight until she found the small medical kit at the bottom of the bag and opened it. Maiko grabbed the role of bandages and handed it over with a concerned look on her face when she asked, "You're not... bleeding, or anything, are you? Is it bad? If it is you might want to get it looked at rather than come here tonight." She said with worry, just like she always did. It was always safety first, to Maiko.
"No way, Emi, your here before me?" Maiko heard another voice near by and looked around to find where it was coming from. A few seconds later Maiko found that voice belonging to Takehiko Kuro, one of the classmates she truly admired. "Maiko and Airi! You guys are here too?"
"I see you've made here also, Takehiko." Maiko gave him a small wave and then saw someone climb down the gate and pick up the things she had tossed on the other side. Maiko then realized that the movement in the background was Konatsu waving towards them, and so Maiko smiled back at her and said, "Nice to see you join us, Konatsu."
"Figured I might've been first here, guess not though. Hope you all came prepared for tonight." Maiko turned her attention back to Takehiko while he spoke.
As if proud of her somewhat heavy bag, Maiko said with a grin, "I'm entirely prepared incase anything happens. I have my phone, a few batteries, a flashlight, oh, I brought the flares for each group incase someone decides to give up or when we found that 'secret item,' and a first aid kit for injuries." Well, at least she was proud of it, if anything. The bag was quite big and made a bit of noise when she walked because it seemed to have bounced, oddly.
Maiko counted the people that were in sight now, and only counted five, even though it seemed as though Emi was still out of sight. Takehiko talked to him though, so that meant he was close, probably hurdling the school wall and gate on the other side 'So there's five of us here... Maybe the other five are already at the building then.' She thought and then said, "Let's get headed towards the club building; we don't want to keep the other five waiting, right?" She asked and began walking towards the location all ten of them were supposed to meet up at for the night.
It only took a few minutes to get from the front of the actual school building to the back where the old 1900s school building was, which used to be a club building, and is now where Mirai's legend roams the empty halls. On the short walk there, Maiko hoped she wasn't wrong about the other five being at the building. Thankfully, she wasn't wrong.
Excitedly, she ran up to the other five who had arrived earlier than the five that she met at the front of the building, and greeted them all with her usual beam, "There you are! I was a bit anxious that you five weren't here when we left the front of the school... But you're here, so nothing to worry about." She sighed with relief and then dropped her bag onto the ground, taking out her sticks and a cup. There were ten of them, and there had to be five groups of two. This was going to be the way they chose who picked who. There were five colors, blue, red, green, purple, and yellow, and whoever got each other's colored stick was going to be paired with them for the night. "Ready to pick?" She said excitedly.
Note From Rhia Again: Intro page. You can decide whatever color, but remember that the groups are the pairs on the intro page.
Emi jumps over the fence to see everyone walking away and towards the building they're supposed to meet at. Following them for a couple of minutes, he reaches the club building and is apparently the last one there as he expected. "Damn." Emi thinks. Maiko mentions how the pairing will work with the whole color thing. What if he got paired with someone he hates? It's a weird way to do it but Emi doesn't complain. I mean it's 1/5 chance of being paired up with someone he'd rather not be with. "Ready to pick?" Maiko said excitedly. Emi scowls to himself. Typical Maiko, always being lively. He thought that was Hachi's job but oh well. Emi set his eyes upon the blue one, making sure nobody else notices it.
