Race: Black Nine-tail, Kitsune Demon.

Affiliation: Tribe.

Role: Saiko Alpha! Main character.

Moral Alignment: Neutral.

Personality: Sen is even more reserved than most other Kitsune, always very calm and quiet. He is had to anger, but easy to annoy, and for that reason the kits always love to prank him. Dislikes: Weakness.

Fears: Failing to protect his tribe.

Secrets: Many, such is the way of Kitsune.

Hobbies: None.

Outlook on Life: Tribe.

History: Born to a silver one-tail and a red-gold three tail, not much was expected of Sen. Because he was born such a dark color to a pure family line of light Kitsunes, he was labeled an outcast, and not accepted as tribe. Constantly put through battles at home and while in hunting parties, he became very strong very quickly, growing his fifth tail while still under a century old, making him the fastest-growing fox in as long as their tribe could remember. But then, his mother and litter mates, all except one from his mother's second and much younger litter, were killed in a hunting accident, burning to death at the hands of a Salamander. His father lost himself to his rage and demon energy, went insane, and attempted to kill him. They both fled together.

Description: Sen is tall and lanky, with elongated claws and slightly elongated canines in his human form.

Height: 5'9"

Weight: 305

Injuries: Many, healed. Kitsunes are creatures of battle.

Weapons: Sword.

Armor: Wears metal bracers on his forearms.

Accessories: He keeps his long hair out of the way in a braid, cinched halfway down its length by a light metal hair cuff.

+ Senses - Extremely sharp sense of smell, hearing, and eyesight.
+ Healing - A wound fatal to a human will have healed within 10 minutes, would have to be torn limb from limb to be killed.
+ Swordsmanship - Highly skilled swordsman.
- Intelligence - Smart, good strategist, quick thinker.
- Grace - Very smooth movement and quiet step.
- Athleticism - Incredibly fast and strong. Can move faster than the human eye can see.
* Legendary Skill: Transformation. He can change from a human form to Demon. His human form looks mostly human, hiding his demon form.

Outlook on Life: Tribe.

History: Severely injured, she lost her memories, and wandered the forest until she was near death. Then, Sen showed up, and helped her. Eventually, she managed to prove herself useful in battle, and joined the pack, earning her third through seventh tails over her years with them. Because she could not remember her name, they named her themselves. She was the first one to join Sen and Nadinalie.

Name: Jayden Coranine.

Gender: M

Speech Color: 3500BA - Dark Indigo

Physical Age: 19

Actual Age: 21

Hair Color: Dusky red.

Eye Color: Bright golden amber.

Race: Shiru three-tail, Kitsune Demon.

Affiliation: Tribe.

Role: Tribemate.

Moral Alignment: Neutral.

Personality: Jayden is a very brave person, fearless so long as his pack mates are beside him. He never gives up, and always puts the pack first, listening to his Alpha even when he doesn't agree with his judgement, simply because he knows Sen does everything for a reason, and even if something seems unfair to him, he knows Sen is making the best decision by taking into consideration things he himself has not thought of. When in the face of pressure, his stubbornness and loyalty make him completely trustworthy in that he won't spill any secrets. He is generally a bit quiet around strangers, but his history of being human gives his a better understanding of how to act civil and survive in human culture.

Likes: Hunting and fighting, playing with tribemates, teasing and pranking outsiders, forest.

Dislikes: Weakness and being trapped and unable to see.

Fears: Failing his Alpha when he needed him, small spaces, and humans. He knows they would kill him, so fears his parents being the ones to find him.

Hobbies: None.

Outlook on Life: Tribe.

History: Jayden was born and raised in America. The portal opened while he was on a vacation trip to Australia, and he was right near it, so he had no time to run and was contaminated. The demon he turned into was a Kitsune, and eventually, he was starving. He did not understand that eating as he did when he was human was no longer the main energy source his body needed. Eventually, he found his ways to Sen, and became part of the pack, learning the ways of the Kitsune and how to control his new abilities quickly. He can't imagine going back to the human world now - nothing about them or their culture makes sense to him.

Domeniqui

The Deepwoods - home of the Kitsune tribe. A place where the screams of dying prey echo eerily off the trees, and most days a constant few inch deep heavy mist coats the floor, obscuring the forest floor and its many waiting traps to all but it's inhabitants. The trees are large and twisted, many of them ancient beyond time.

A small figure darts through the branches and fallen leaves without a sound, weaving expertly around sharp thorn bushes with the ease of practice. One of the creatures that manage to survive this vicious place, where only the strong survive. Though a closer inspection... its just a tiny little fox, quite a large fox, several feet tall, but very young seeming all the same. His unnaturally deep red fur, ears, paws, and eyes too large for him, and his fluffy tail mark him as just a kit, off exploring on his own, despite his size.

He is rarely left alone, and with good reason. Fear for his life from his family is only part of the reason - he can survive most encounters on his own. The other, is that he's just like any other child... he won't sit still.

Which finds the kit racing through the forest, growling the fox line impression of a laugh and playing with leaves. Gradually, the mist at his paws thickens, the trees become less twisted, the dark... not necessarily evil, but dark... aura of the forest lightening, as the forest slowly changes from shadowy heart to the less-shadowy part that surrounds it. Going even further, the mist that has overtaken everything starts to be tinged with red. But he is not afraid. He has nothing to fear from the mist, for he is a demon, was born a demon. He shifts back and forth sporadically from his demonic form to his human one, and back again, as he races across the path-less forest floor.

The mist gets redder and redder as he goes further, until it is completely blood red. He wanders here, there, not getting to close to the human settlements. He wanders, but is not lost - he has lived here for longer than nearly any human, or non-human, living in the town that has the lights, which twinkle like earthbound stars at night, a distance away from the Deepwoods.

But then, his fine turned hearing, many times finer than a fox of this world, picks up sounds. He stills, sniffing the air, but the mist dampens and conceals the knowledge he seeks. He falls into a crouch, easily navigating over the terrain without a sound, rapidly drawing closer to the edge of the mist. As he gets closer, the sounds he recognized, but that still confused him, grew louder. A faint bit of their scent comes to him, even through the mist, proving his ears were not wrong, and only confusing him further. He comes to the edge of the mist, shifting back to his smaller human form, peering out from inside the mist, behind a leafy bush.

His suspicious were confirmed... it was humans, several of them. The fox ears on his head twitch, then flatten backwards. He had never, never seen humans this close to the mist before. They avoided it like the plague, because to them it was one. They dared not go near it, living in fear with windows and doors tight shut, never leaving the city limits. Not truly living at all. He pitied them for that. But now, here they were, talking nervously at the very edge of the mists. He had seen the ones driven insane, leaping into the mist out of with to end or escape their human lives. Those ones normally never survived long at all. But these were speaking calmly. He had never seen a human, in their right mind and untainted, so close-up before.

And there were many, at least a dozen. One, a blond woman he heard them repeatedly calling 'The Scholar' was standing off to the side, a blank... or was it fearful?... look on her face. Obviously, she was new in town, unconsciously flinching whenever she caught a glimpse of one of those who had been partially changed. His eyes narrowed, focusing on her, wounding why she would come to a place like this if she was so afraid of them.

Suddenly, his instincts screamed at him he was being watched, and he looked up just as the voice of a man a voice snarled, right near him. "WHAT THE HELL?" The man bellowed, already running forward, eyes locked on Ki. Shocked he had been spotted, it took him a split second to spring up and attempt to run, but he was too late. A gruff hand caught him mid-air, yanking him backwards and causing the hood of his human jacket to fall forward over his face from the force. "Think you can spy on us, you little bastard?" The man continued. "Think we'll just sit here while you tell them where we are, so you can eat us? Not happening!" He spat, dragging Ki backwards.

Ki could have easily broken the mans hand and run, but refrained - he was human. It would only serve to deepen their fear, which would only make things worse. And besides, one of his tribe used to be human. If he harmed this man, Jayden might think Ki hated him because of that again. When he first came to them, he thought they might hate him because of it, because they were demons. Ki did not want him to think that again, even if it meant him getting hurt.

It did not occur to him Jayden might get more upset over humans harming him than if he fought back and harmed a human.

So, he carefully struggled, attempting to get away without breaking the fragile being. He was unable to escape with that small snout of strength he used. The man grabbed his arm and forced him to spin around, pressing downwards to force Ki roughly to the ground. To a human, it would look painful, no doubt leaving to some deep scratches on his knees. Ki looked up at the man, eyes wide and ears flattening to his skull. Not without the ears holding it forward, the hood slipped off, but the ears were obscured by the fluffy light cream blonde hair of his human form.

"EVIL BRAT!" The man screamed, and struck him across the face. "You com-e here to ki-ll us, d-on't you? D-demon!" The man screamed, voice breaking. Scents filled the air, so many slamming into Ki at once they made him dizzy. Horror, fear, shock, fear, disgust, FEAR, anger, TERROR. So much... so much! The horrible scents stung his nose like he'd inhaled spices, making him cry out, trying a bit harder to get away, still trying not to hurt the man, and hurt his tribemate by doing so. The scents pressured in on him. The man kicked him, hard, in the stomach, and Ki's breath wooded from his body. It hurt, even though he was demon. Probably would have cracked several ribs if he was human. As it was, it flung him several feet off the ground, still trapped in the man's grip, who roughly turned the momentum of his air time into force as he was thrown back to the ground at the man's feet. "FILTHY, WRETCHED..." The man was still yelling, more of a screech really.

The scents became yet more powerful, making him dizzy. He felt sick, and the scents of their emotions was making his own panic and fear rise, further disorienting him. He began whimpering, louder, crying out, and then letting out small shrieks as the beating went on. There were no serious injuries being inflicted, but the raw emotion was making him truly panic, which in turn made his demonic energy go unstable, wanting to protect him. His muscles tightened for attack.

No. No, if he hurt this human, he would hurt Jayden. Jayden was Tribe. He couldn't hurt his tribe. Hurt the human, hurt Jayden. Hurt tribe. Panic, use the demonic energy, hurt human, hurt Jayden. Panic, hurt human, hurt Jayden, hut Tribe. Panic... Jayden.

Do not hurt Tribe. Do not panic.

But he was already panicking, these scents, throwing him into a whirlwind of their terror, he wouldn't be able to control it in only a few more seconds. He had to stop this. He could not panic... he had to get free. He could not get free without hurting him. But... his Alpha, the Alpha of the tribe, he could. He always could. Alpha would protect him, even f he had to die to do it, because he was Tribe.

Another hit, and Ki couldn't take anymore, and he turned his head to the sky, letting loose his pain in a single wail for help that echoed many times over off the trees and mists.

"SEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEENNNNNN!"

(since obviously no one is going to respond to my long-planned post, I'll just continue on now... :P)

THIRD PERSON P.O.V.

As the child's scream died in the air, a great rumbling shook the ground. Then another. Then another. Harder and harder the quakes got, making the humans gathered at the edge of the mist stumble. The shakes were rhythmic, like the beat of a drum. Cries of fear escaped the humans, and they turned to flee, away from the mist, away from the ever worsening tremors, screaming their heads off as they ran. A sound like a deep crack of thunder rolled over them, but it was no momentary thing caused by the atmosphere, the continuous sound finally identifying itself as a growl.

Then, it all stopped. Having reached the edge of town, the humans collapsed, panting for breath... only to look up and see themselves not one block away from a horrible, twisted, slimy creature, with two small shapes dancing around it, attacking it. The humans stopped, and stared dumbly.

And then the ground shook one last, final time, so violently every person standing was tossed to the ground. Five seconds passed... and something huge and dark appeared in the sky, filling the air. The sound like thunder, this time more like as if they were hearing lighting hit earth right in front of them, filled the air once again as the giant shape landed right on top of the giant blob of a monster. The thing shrieked, thrashing, but the thing squishing it flexed it's claws, piercing it's hide, and forced its overwhelming demonic energy into the thing's body. With a horrible, screeching, choked cry, the thing made one last failed effort to escape, before its body was burned to nothing but ash. Four paws hit the ground, as the creature who had killed the beast landed on the ground where it had once stood.

The creature raised its head, revealing a distinctly canine-like face, with eerie dark red eyes like blood. It bared its teeth, and each of them was longer than either the lavender-skinned man or the green-skinned men standing in front of him was tall. The sound of thunder again, the sound of the creature growling its threat. It raised itself slightly off the ground, holding itself up with four paws that were the size of cars, a multitude of black tendrils waving behind it.

Behind the two strange-colored people, the breath huffed out of a small body as he was dropped to the ground at last from frozen hands. The child whimpered, scrabbling to gain his footing, and the creature tensed to leap at the two between it and the child.

(I'm going to do a quick post purely because it's something my character would do. Short one, mostly dialogue)

Jin blinked, his sword arms falling to his sides as he looked up at the new beast.....that had just claimed his kill.

"HEY! YOU CAN'T DO THAT YOU........FUCK! THAT WAS MY KILL!" Jin could care less about the child cowering behind him, could care less about the sheer power this new demon seemed to emit. It had taken his kill. His gaze became dark and he spoke again in a low threatning tone. "You're going to pay be back with your own hide, beast."

A young woman with white hair leaped through the mist, landing in a crouch with a large, broken sword in her hand. She surveyed her surroundings with her green eyes, noting a few odd looking places for her own purposes. That demon was nowhere to be found. She stood up and took a small whiff, then her face twisted into a snarl.

"Dammit... fucking demon." she looked at the gates. That thing she had been hunting was inside there! Civilized population. She hissed like an angered cat. This was going to be a difficult one but NO ONE was going to take her prize. She needed that demon. It was hers in the first place. Stupid thing took off when she had it. That thing knew the moment she sliced off several of it's tentacles and devoured them that it didn't want to mess with her. Demons fear her and with good reason. In their tongue, she was 'The Devourer'. She was the hunter and they were her prey.

The woman twirled the shattered greatsword with ease, despite it's size even after being shattered. The demon blood that coated the greatsword splattered against the ground around her as she twirled the greatsword before she settled it on her shoulder. She jumped with great ease and landed light on her feet on a house, looking for her prize.

She saw it... and then it was gone.

"OH NO YOU DID NOT!" she cried out, grasping her greatsword with both hands, charging it with pale, green energy. She jumped down and slammed the sword down as if it was an anvil and her sword was the hammer. The energy radiated around her, causing cracks to form where her greatsword smashed against. She stood up and walked towards the beast.

"HEY! YOU CAN'T DO THAT YOU........FUCK! THAT WAS MY KILL!"

"That was MINE!" she snarled at the large canine beast before her who had destroyed the demon she was after, she then eyed the other, "Don't try anything."

She pointed her shattered greatsword at the creature. "Now... what are you? Demon? Demon-taint?"

"I sure hope it's the latter, because you're going to replace what you just killed."

As the three stood off, none of them seemed to notice the remaining parts of the Coniungo slide away, vanishing under the ground. Moments passed as the trio glared at one another, before a part of the clearing cracked. Crack. Crunch. The ground itself burst into the air as something leaped from the hole and landed on the top of a building nearby. Larger than the Kitsune, the changed Coniungo let out a roar and almost immediately began to spew out more purple acid. Rearing its head, it launched massive globs of the stuff into the air like a mortar, aiming not for the opponents but the area they were in. The massive globs of goo hit the ground and splattered everywhere, eroding the very surface Jin, Jun Maeve and the Kitsune were standing on. Howling again as its body became more canine-like, the Coniungo flexed its claws, waiting for an attack.

The Monster growled, and it spoke.

"Feast".

"OH NO YOU DID NOT!" One half-breed gasped, approaching the trio.

"HEY! YOU CAN'T DO THAT YOU........FUCK! THAT WAS MY KILL!" The green halfling snarled, and continued in a low voice, "You're going to pay be back with your own hide, beast."

"That was MINE!" The female hissed back. The great beast stared at them, unamused. She turned back to the demon, pointing a weapon at it that smelled of a fair amount of demonic energy. "Now... what are you? Demon? Demon-taint? I sure hope it's the latter, because you're going to replace what you just killed." She challenged.

The creature ignored her.

Again, rough hands grabbed at the child, dragging him away. He let out a faint wail, struggling. The human, the one who had taken him before, yelled up at the beast "You want him, you vile demon? Well-"

He was cut off mid-speech by something that took the total of half a second. In that time, the beast finally launched itself forward, even as its form began shimmering with demonic energy, changing, until it was only a tall human male with long dark red hair darting between them with speed that made him nearly invisible to the human eye, grabbed the man by the throat. The man tried to scream, both hands letting go of the child and flying to uselessly claw at the demons', his throat crushed too strongly in his grip to have let the sound escape, resulting in a sound similar to that of a dying goat.

The force of the red-haired man's momentum threw them backwards a few yards, and then the demon lifted him into the air, elongated, sharp nails ready to rip out his life at any moment. These motions happened in the blink of an eye - one moment there was a monster bigger than a mansion bearing down on them, the next it was gone and he was already past the defenders.

"Run, kid!" An unidentified voice yelled from the crowd. "That thing will kill you!"

The child, on the ground once more, didn't even seem to hear. He pushed himself to his feet quickly, whimpering in relief, and took the steps necessary to fling himself at the man, his ears, previously flat to his head in fear, perking forward as he attached himself to the man's side. "Sen!" He cried, tears of joy gathering in his eyes.

Sen looked away from the human, his eyes filled with controlled fury. "And this is exactly why you are not allowed near the edge of the mist, Ki! What were you thinking?!" He demanded.

"M' sorry... I was exploring, and there were people, right at the edge of it! I was curious, so I went and listen to them talk, and one of them saw me and dragged me out."

Sen took a deep breath, a low growl rumbling faintly in his throat. "Did they hurt you?"

"Only a little..."

The human's lifeblood was suddenly all over the street, but Sen had made sure to fling the man around so the blood form the cut didn't splash himself or Ki, then brought himself down to Ki's level, one hand reaching up to smooth the boy's hair a bit. "Why didn't you simply run?"

"I didn't want to hurt him... I thought hurting a human might hurt Jayden, like last time."

"Do you realize what Jayden will think if he finds out you let yourself get hurt because of him?"

The child squeaked, hands reaching up to his ears and tugging on them, fretting. Sen carefully placed one hand over his face, and sighed.

The ground began rumbling once again, a different rumbling, more like something beneath the surface was breaking it apart. Sen snarled, on his feet in an instant, pulling Ki behind him and backing away from a spot directly to their West. The ground split, a shrieking cry filling the former battleground, purple spewing from its mouth, snarling threats in the language of the demons, and even words of the human language. Sen bared his teeth and warning at the thing, and one of its extremities stopped in midair, hesitating, before bending away from him and towards the nearest target, ignoring his presence, instead of attacking what it knew would kill it if ti did so.

When they finally backed into a wall of the house behind him, Sen let out a small bit of energy, taking the form of black tendrils, which swirled and weaved around him slowly, other bits of it still in the air, arching backwards to form a cage around Ki, protecting him. Eyes flicking warily, Sen saw no reason to fight the creature, as it was only here for the halflings. He would wait out the battle, and leave, after making sure these halflings had nothing to do with what happened to Ki. He had no intention of helping the pathetic creatures.

Jin, still irritated at the rude interruption watched the goings on, swords sheathed and arms crossed. That is until the walk seemed to erupt, spitting out the giant beast that had once been the acid spitting demon. A smile snapped back to Jin's face. "You're mine now, beast! I'm going to sell your scull to be ground into hell powder!"

Jin reached over his shoulder into his pack and pulled out an ornate looking bottle of whiskey. He opened it and took a deep swig then spilled the alcoholic beverage over the blades of his sword. He lashed his tail fires igniting up his body. Both blades of his swords became a blaze and he twirled them through the air. Heat and toxic yellow flames whooshed and danced making his skin seem darker, almost a hellish black. Jin charged for the Coniungo, one blade guarding his front while the other trailed in a loose but solid grip in his left hand. He leapt up flipping head over heels. He turned momentarily into a burning comet before a flaming blade came forth at lightning speed at a downward angle in an attempt to sever the beast's left arm.
