a character in “The Capital Wasteland Refugees”, as played by VitaminHeart

Description

Name: Magdalene, though most know her simply as Mag.

Appearance: Magdalene is over about average height, a little underweight due to her background as a slave, and sporting several fairly noticeable scars from her time stuck with the raiders. While not having been well fed, she's remained reasonably fit due to a life of physical labour. She's in general a rather untidy-looking individual, her natural 'style' of clothing tending to look rather untidy, and her wavy black hair rarely brushed, cut roughly to mid-neck length. Her eyes are a silvery grey colour. She has fairly pale skin, a short nose, and appears to have no freckles.

S.P.E.C.I.A.L.:

Strength: 5

Endurance 4

Charisma: 8

Intelligence: 6

Agility: 7

Luck: 5

Tag Skills: Sneak

Unarmed, Lockpick.

Faction: Freedom Fighters

Favoured Weapon/Equipment: Mag has little proficiency with weapons, and so usually takes as little as possible, sometimes using a melee weapon or small gun if pressed. She tends to use disguise to her advantage, so her clothing changes frequently.

Personality: Magdalene is a very laid-back individual. Despite her rather traumatic upbringing, she seems to be quite comfortable with herself. Mag is quite a friendly individual who does her best to get along with her colleagues, and rarely seems to be effected by the sort of things she runs into.

All that Magdalene does is driven by a certain anarchistic undercurrent to her personality. She loves to take on authority, and it seems to be something she takes on in great enthusiasm. The more powerful the target, the greater the satisfaction she gets from dealing with them. Mag loves to stand up for the underdog, having been one herself.

Understandably, this tendency can sometimes get Mag into trouble. She can sometimes push her luck a little too much with those who outrank her, or take orders more as suggestions, something that can frustrate others. She is a notoriously terrible timekeeper and seems to be at least half an hour late for anything she is called to unless literally dragged there.

History: Magdalene was born into slavery, unable to remember any other sort of life. For most years she called Paradise Fallls her home, stuck doing tasks around the place and tolerating the abusive behaviour of the slavers. Things became considerably worse however when the arrival of those outcast from The Pitt arrived. The slavers of Paradise Falls were cruel individuals, but largely lazy and undisciplined, happy enough to sit around drinking and fighting, so long as they had the caps to do so. With the appearance of the new slavers, and the subsequent military-style manoeuvres on Rivet City, life for the slaves in their influence became utterly unbearable as they were forced to deal with ever increasing demands, and ever more cruel and ruthless masters. Mag, for one, has reached her breaking point, and made a drastic decision. Escape...or die in the process.

So begins...
