The early morning sun caressed the side of Chloe's cheek as she lay in her bed, the soft fluffy sheets around her seemed a mess as she usually shuffled around a lot in her sleep. With a sigh Chloe gingerly woke, hoping today would be better than yesterday. She could recall the memory of taking a job requiring her to find a minor criminal who'd stolen a rich man's money. Chloe had tracked the man down and found him only to find that someone had gotten to him first. She's remembered yelling frusteratedly finding she was worried about how she would pay rent this month. Her line of living here was on a thread and she didn't wish to make the landlord any angrier. "Today will be better, I just know it." Chloe sighed as she eventually told herself to get up and out of bed, walking towards the curtain as her short tank top revealed her lower hip and some of her exposed slim belly showed as well. The place she rented was different from the Guild, for the guild didn't have any beds it was simply a place to hang, get in fights and get jobs. A small smile peeked they're way through her lips. Chloe stretched and yawned, she grabbed a fresh pair of clothes and went into the shower, cleaning herself quickly she then wrapped a towel around herself and let her hair towel dry. After a few short minutes Chloe got dressed, not bothering to do much with her hair except quickly brush it. The blonde hair formed nicely and showed her facial features off quite well. Chloe put on some white sneakers and quickly grabbed her belt which she put around her white skirt, her light blue blouse complimented her curved figure as she quickly left the Dorm-like room, descending down the many flights of stairs. Her Celestial keys jingled softly against her hip as Chloe walked out of the Apartment and found herself gazing at the small river that flowed through the town, it was simply a way for people to take a boat around the city, gazing at it's marvolence. A large muffled roar sounded from the river as Chloe smiled, "Riki!" she cried as the large serpent hound poked it's head out of the water, clearly enjoying the nice sunny day in the river. "You silly boy, come here." she said, a smile lit up her face. Riki placed a large clawed arm on the concrete floor then hoisted himself out of the water, careful not to step on her he made his way to Chloe, gently laying down beside her, basking in the sun. Chloe patted his rubbery skin and kissed his nose. "Ready to go to the Guild?" she asked with a smile, the triheart symbol rested on the inside of her hip, an interesting place to put a tattoo of the guild but that was the only place that Chloe wanted to ever put a tattoo on. Riki sounded his approval with a muffled cry of joy. Chloe smiled and in a flash grabbed a hold of his leather saddle and pulled at the reins, getting Riki to go slightly faster than normal. Riki bounded calmly letting his fast feet get ahead of him but also dodging people as they went through the town, finding their way to the Guild.

Lick,Lick the rough tongue of an animal licked the side of Gray's face. Gray grumbled and turned his face away from Nara, hoping she wouldn't bug him anymore. Nara continued to nudge the back of his head, her tri tail thumping against the bed making a loud whacking sound. "Nara!" he complained and tried to shove her off the bed, Nara whined and tackled Gray nipping gently against his neck. "Alright! Alright I give!" Gray said with a chuckle, he was clearly not a morning person. Nara yipped happily and bounded off the bed, running in circled chasing her tail. Gray chuckled, "Well your in a good mood today. You feisty little lap dog." he said teasingly. Nara glared at him, clearly not amused with the title "Lap dog." Gray found himself walking towards the fridge, he quietly opened the fridge and grabbed a raw fresh piece of meat. Nara howled happily and leapt, grabbing the meat from his bare hand. Gray jumped slightly but he was use to her jumping at him. Gray watched with fascination as Nara chewed on the fresh piece of meat and quickly devoured the whole thing. "Well, we better head to the Guild soon, otherwise we will get one of the bad jobs eh Nara?" he said with a grin then quickly raced her towards the bathroom, Gray grabbed his fresh pile of clothes he'd layed out then quickly got dressed. Nara scratched at the door outside the bathroom, whining and impatiently yipping. Gray came out of the bathroom and patted her soft head, kissing her nose as Nara continued to whine. "Alright, Alright." Gray grumbled, he quickly grabbed his coat and made his way from the Dorm he'd stayed in and raced Nara towards the Guild, Gray's laughter echoed throughout the City.

A young red haired woman raced across the rooftops of the city, blue eyes narrowing on her target. A man in black was also running along the rooftops, running away from her. Nikita watched as he jumped from one roof to the other, she followed, picking up speed as she launched from the building. The bounty hunter rolled on the shingles, getting back up fluidly. Her target was only a few feet away, staggering as he ran out of breath. The elemental summoned her fire, closing her eyes and reopening them as two fire daggers appeared in each hand. Nikita tackled the man, both skidding at the edge of the roof as she pinned him down. "You're coming with me, slick." Standing, she grabbed him by the back of his shirt, hauling him to his feet. Yet another bounty she had collected, another criminal that would be behind bars. "Jacoby, mind taking him to the boss? I think in gonna stick around for a bit." Nikita asked the black fox who had appeared. "Of course." The crowfox promised, snarling at the man and guiding him away.

Nikita sat down on the edge of the roof, swinging her long slender legs back and forth as she watched the people down below walking down the streets in between the buildings. With a sigh, Nikita looked up at the soft blue sky, frowning as she felt a breeze pull at her hair. On the horizon were storm clouds and the hint of rain on the air. "Great." She muttered, climbing down from the rooftop. Once there was only a few feet left till the ground, she jumped, landing on her feet. Nikita brushed the dust and dirt off of her yellow blouse and short tan shorts. Before she knew what was happening a large six legged dog had crashed in to the back of her legs after coming around a corner. The two fell to the ground, Nikita giving a yelp of surprise, glaring up at the dog...thing...that had taken her down.

The young fire elemental stared up at the dog with her wide, shocked, blue eyes. "Uhhh." She stuttered, too stunned to form words. You could put the man hunter in front of a dozen armed men and threaten her life and she would only laugh. But you put her in front of an animal and she would freeze up. Nikita didn't like hurting the innocent and she considered all animals to be sacred and pure. "Hey there big girl," she smiled nervously.

Grey found himself eye to eye with a red haired women, his silky dark blue almost black hair covered some of his face as he brushed the annoying bangs out of his eye. Grey chuckled and stood back, giving himself and the women some space. Nara growled and stepped back, her tri tail swishing back and forth angrily. "Easy, Nara." Grey murmured, tentatively patting the 6 legged wolf/dog on her soft head. Nara calmed at his touched though her ice blue eyes were on the red haired women. Grey took notice that the women wasn't waring any Guild signed tattoos and he immediately set up his defensive stance. Also noting the women was unarmed, and mistaking her for a normal folk he let his shoulders loose and calmed his nerves. "Hello, My name is Grey. I"m from the Triheart Guild." he murmured softly, carefully reaching out a hand to shake hers. When she shook his hand after a few brief moments of silence Grey immediately took his hand back, feeling the spark in-between their touched palms. Alert shivers ran down Grey's spine and immediately his palms were wide, Grey could feel the sudden power develop in his hands, ready for an attack. "Y-Your a Fire Element?" he growled, taking a few steps back. Grey knew Fire and Water didn't mix very well as he cleared his throat. "My mistake, I misled you for a Normal Folk. I'm a water bender you see, so that is why I took my hand back, I could feel your flame power through your hand, your hand is also very warm." he commented coolly. Grey had realized he was just talking to a complete stranger and found himself practically smacking himself in the forehead, how could he have been so stupid. The guild was not to far from where Grey and the women stood, he was glad of this in case this strange women decided to attack him. Nara whined and grabbed a hold of Grey's dark tanned pants, not realizing her strength Nara ripped the pants off of Grey. And Grey found himself wearing a t-shirt and boxers, clearly embarrassed as people whistled as they walked by, some women even blushed as they walked past. Grey felt the tips of his ears grow red and his face was flushed. "Nara!" he growled and the 6 legged wolf/dog just barked happily, clearly amused of the situation. Grey pulled back on the slightly ripped pants and crossed his arms, clearly not amused.

A small, soft-furred silver creature sat perched atop a tall young man's shoulder, its bat-like wings were folded neatly and comfortably on its back as it gazed around at the guild halls with large, curious brown eyes. He looked over at the man whose shoulder he was perched upon, and nuzzled his cheek softly. The boy's hair was a sandy blonde, spiked up in the front, and it seemed almost to shine different shades of gold in the early morning sunrise filtering through a small window. The sun's rays lit up his icy blue eyes, making them even more piercing than usual on his handsome, tanned face. Finn smiled a grin that could melt just about any heart and scratched Aldrik behind the ears, earning a soft affectionate humm from the creature. He was talking to an attractive young blonde, who he was obviously acquainted with from around the guild, and he seemed at ease and calm as he spoke with her.

Chloe's charming smile showed through her lips as she talked to Finn, happy to see him again. "You know I heard there was a new job that needed a super strong team to deal with." she said with a wink, nudging him roughly on his shoulder. She knew that she and Finn and Gray were already know as the Guild's strongest team. "Now, where is that water boy?" she grumbled, clearly not amused at Gray's late timing. Chloe spotted Grey talking to a rather attractive red haired girl and Chloe's casual smirk showed through her flawless lips. "Ohh! Gray your clothes!" she yelled as Gray's pants were ripped out from underneath him thanks to Nara. Chloe rolled her eyes, Grey and his many habits just made it so much easier to pick on him. Chloe felt her hip resting against Finn's hand, they weren't side by side but the Guild already knew in the two's interest in each other. Chloe of course chose the difficult choice of having Finn follow her everywhere and leading him on, but Finn was much smarter than Chloe knew of. His true hidden potential was hidden underneath his tanned skin. Chloe turned back to Finn, her mint green eyes resting on his calm ice-blue. "Ready to head on that job Finny Boy?!" she said with a grin. She knew Finn and She were an unmatchable team, she'd earned her rank by defeating Finn quite a few times but surprisingly Finn had defeated her in sparring matches, the two were about even.

Finn gave no sign that his heart skipped a beat at Chloe's charming smile, just played it cool and gave a soft, charming smile of his own. "Hmm I wonder who could possibly handle a job like that." he said slightly playfully, obviously knowing that she was hinting that they could sign up to do the job, as everyone knew their trio was one of the best at the Triheart Guild. He laughed softly when she nudged him roughly on the shoulder, but managed to keep his balance. "Late, as usual." he commented in response to Chloe wondering where Gray was. He tried to hide a smirk and bit his tongue to keep from bursting out laughing as he watched the scene of Gray's disappearing pants from the window, looking down on the street below. "Found him." he chuckled softly. His suppressed chuckles eventually subsided when Gray pulled his pants back up, and he looked back up at Chloe. He felt Chloe's hip resting against his hand slightly, and it sent shivers up his spine, but he gave no sign of it and just continued to smile softly, his cool ice blue eyes meeting her mint green ones. He chuckled softly at her nickname for him and grinned. "When am I ever not ready for a job?" he replied with a grin, starting to walk down the hall, slightly ahead of her due to how tall he was and that he has longer legs than she does.

Chloe smiled and caught up with him easily, "We can handle this job ourselves." she murmured handing him the slip of paper that read: "Crooked Thief with Magic Power! Please Catch him reward of 150,000 Jewel!" Chloe smiled, "We could split the reward 50, 50 and be able to pay our rent easily." she murmured with a heartbreaking smile. Chloe and Finn walked outside of the Guild, where Riki was waiting patiently. Chloe climbed up the saddle and grabbed hold of his reins, She helped Finn up on the saddle. "He Yah!" Chloe yelled and snapped the reins against Riki's side, Riki went at a fast paced run. Chloe's hair brushed against Finn's chin, his hands resting casually around her waist. Chloe smiled, the wind in her face as she laughed, happily. They arrived shortly at the man's house of whom they were suppose to capture. Riki came to a halt and both she and Finn slid down Riki's back. Riki gave a snort of approval and then ran off in search of a meal to eat. Chloe smiled at Finn as they walked calmly towards the house, her celestial keys bounced softly against her hip. "Ready?" she asked, without waiting for his approval Chloe kicked open the doors, glaring and looking around. The house was a large manor and the man in a mask stood atop the staircase. "You have entered my house uninvited. What do you want? You have but few seconds to answer before I blow up you in a matter of brief moments." he growled, clearly not amused at the two's barging in. "We are here to capture you that's what!" Chloe growled and dodged the man's incoming blow. He was a spell caster, one who was good at making bombs very fast, explosions collided everywhere and Chloe had to carefully dodge.

Finn took the piece of paper and read it, whistling lowly. "Well I'd say so." he said with a grin, handing her back the paper and looking up to smile at her just in time to see her heart-shattering smile. He walked outside with her, Aldarik still perched on his shoulder as they walked out of the big guild doors at the grand entrance and went outside to meet Riki there. Finn accepted her help getting up into the saddle, even though he didn't really need it, his strong arms and legs perfectly capable of pulling him up into the saddle on his own. But he didn't say this, just smiled and climbed on the saddle behind her, resting his hands casually around her waist to hold on as her light golden hair brushed against his chin and sent shivers down his spine. Aldrik had leapt down from Finn's shoulder as soon as they took off and curled up in a saddle bag for a safe ride to their destination. Chloe's joyful laugh made Finn smile, and he glanced at her out of the corner of his eye as he gazed around at their surroundings, absent-mindedy trying to memorize where they were going so he wouldn't get lost and would know where they were at at least in case something happened and they had to run. When they arrived, he slid down Riki's back, Chloe following soon after him. As she took the lead and basically barge into this man's house; he took in the scene, noting it was a very large manor, not even really a house, as he glanced up to see a masked figure at the top of the staircase. He listened the brief conversation between Chloe and the masked man, and then before he could say anything had to dodge and jump out of the way of the floor exploding below him, falling on his side then rolling back onto his feet in a swift movement. What? No warm welcome? Alright, I guess we're playing that way. he thought, a smirky grin forming on his lips towards the opposing spell caster. Finn began to weave a spell of his own, making the ground and the stairs crumble out from beneath just the masked spell-caster's feet by weakening the wood in the floor beneath him, distracting him for a moment and causing there to be a break in the tirade of explosions.

The mighty black horse spouted flames out of his nostril, clearly not amused with this mysterious man attacking his Celestial Partner. Flareo turned his wide head to look over at Chloe. "What is your bidding, Mistress?" he asked as all or most of her Celestial Spirits talked. "Burn that man with your incredible power!" Chloe yelled, Flareo snorted, flames spouting from his open mouth, his teeth showed wildly and his ears were pinned. Flareo charged at the man, knocking him down with a swift blow, flames began to burn his shirt the man screemed loudly, running and rolling trying to get the fire off of him. This was when Grey was in handy and he could get rid of the flames but since Grey wasn't here the man continued to run around, the flames following him. Chloe glanced over at Finn, "Could you crumple some dirt on him, we probably shouldn't burn him alive.." she grumbled. Flareo stood beside Chloe, his flame colored eyes glanced around nervously, making sure he didn't catch her on fire. Though that would mean her clothes would burn off and he was sure Finn would love that.

Nikita flinched away from the water bender's cool, liquid touch cradling her hand against her chest as she wiped the cold feeling away, shivering softly. "Now listen here, do I look like a Simple Folk?" The young fiery red head asked, placing her hands on her well shaped hips, lifting an eyebrow as she pursed her lips. "I may not be a part of a guild, but yes, I am a fire elemental. You got a problem with that, droplet?" The young woman asked, tilting her chin up proudly as she stood before the much taller water man. The dog at his side whined softly, as if bored, and then grabbed a hold of his pants. Nikita's soft rosy cheeks flushed with even more color as she chewed her lip, holding back laughter as she looked the man up and down. "I was heading towards the guild to see if I could join, but if their members cant even keep on a pair of pants...Well, I think i'll be better off on my own." Nikita teased, shifting her weight from one hip to the other. The fire elemental saluted the water bender, smiling one of her flirtatious smiles. "See you around, droplet." And with that said she turned around, walking away from the six legged wolf/dog and the half naked man named Grey. Nikita looked over her shoulder with a devious sparkle to her blue eyes, smiling as she headed down the streets, turning to look forward again.

Jacoby, having dropped off the criminal, came trotting down the street with a small pouch of gold dangling from his mouth. Speeding up, he caught up with Nikita, coming to stop and sit in front of her. Crouching down she rubbed the top of the crowfox's head, smiling as she gratefully took the pouch of gold coins from his jaws. "Thanks Jacoby." The fire elemental stood back up, pocketing the money. The two continued on down the street, heading towards the guild. She hadn't been lying about wanting to join, she had heard it was a great place...and honestly bounty hunting for a small group just wasn't cutting it. That and it'd be even more fun if she joined and showed the simple water boy how powerful a fire elemental, such as herself, could be. The only thing she wasn't looking forward to, was the legendary tattoo a guild member received. Nikita was a stickler for having clear, flawless skin, and a tattoo would only mess up her milky white complexion. Stopping, she turned on a heel, waving to the water bender. "You coming or what, droplet? Show me where this guild of yours is."

Finn cursed himself for his impulsive move. He had acted quickly and out of instinct, but hadn't foreseen the fact that the wood splinters would harm Chloe. He dodged out of the way of a delayed explosion and got back to his feet again, brushing himself off. He now stood beside Chloe and was watching the scene before him with eyes still not quite used to seeing Chloe summon her Celestial Spirits. Yeah, that was something that took a little time to get used to, and he wasn't quite there yet. Almost, but not quite. He winced slightly as the Spirit, whose name was apparently Flareo, set the other spell caster's shirt on fire. He blinked when Chloe spoke to him about putting the poor man out, as the man was now running around in circles like a headless chicken, flames pursuing him. "We probably shouldn't burn him alive..." he heard her say, and he supposed this was true. "Er-um-yeah. I'll put him out of his misery." he told her, as he closed his eyes and murmured a spell under his breath, unaware of Flareo's wandering thoughts. It seemed that every single dust particle in the room rose from the ground and began to swirl around the masked man, creating a sort of vacuum that removed the oxygen for a few seconds and extinguished the fire. When he was finished, the fire was extinguished, the masked man seemed to have collapsed on the floor, and the dust was settling around him. Finn opened his blue eyes, which shone like ice shards in the dim of the house, and glanced over at Chloe, meeting her pretty mint green eyes. "Better?" he asked.

"Much." Chloe murmurmed, Chloe turned to Flareo, her smile was bright. "Thank you, Flareo. For all your help. You may return to the Celestial World." she murmured softly to him. Flareo bent his front hooves, bowing to her and watching as a bright flame appeared and in a flash Flareo was gone. Chloe turned back to Finn a wide smile on her face, "Still confused of my power I see eh?" she commented with a smirk. The masked man stuttered and coughed, dust particles came out from his mouth as he did so. Chloe walked swiftly over to the man, punching him squarely in the nose, the man;s vision went blurry and he soon slipped into unconsciousness. "That'll teach you not to mess with Triheart Guild now won't it." she growled and grabbed the man by his collar, dragging him across the floor as she stormed past Finn. "Stupid, Masked Men, and their stupid bombs." she grumbled inaudibly.

Image

Grey tilted his head, wondering why all of a sudden this girl wanted to join a guild. He shrugged and his smirk appeared on his face well if this girl thought she could just walk in to the guild and join she was defiantly wrong. Grey felt his magic flow through his veins, ready to fight if he wanted. Grey felt his eyes narrow as his new nickname was "Droplet" Grey smirked, "Coming, Hot Head." he growled and jogged up to meet her. Nara followed, her eyes drifted over to Nikita, she felt the girl could be untrusting and continued to watch with wary eyes. Grey calmly walked side by side with Nikita keeping his distance as he was still leary of her. The Guild was pretty hard to miss with it's big almost house castle appearance, the sign on the front said Triheart in big & fancy letters. "Well, this is Triheart, one of the best Guilds in Mangolia." Grey commented coolly.

Finn gave a slight tilt of his head in a small nod of acknowledgement and watched as Flareo bowed and left in a flash of flame. He crossed his arms against his chest and gave a pout. "I'm not confused! It just takes some getting used to, thats all!" he said defensively, although there was a teasing, playful light in his blue eyes. He turned back to the masked man as he stuttered and coughed out dust. He smirked when Chloe broke the man's nose and knocked him out in one blow square in the spell caster's face. He watched as she drug the man past Finn by his collar, mumbling something inaudible irritably. Well damn, she acted as if he had personally offended her by just existing. Women, and their mood swings. Finn chuckled softly and followed Chloe out of the house. He helped her drag the unconscious man up onto Riki, who was back outside to pick them back up, and then climbed on behind Chloe once more, making sure the criminal spell caster didn't fall off Riki's back as they headed back to the guild with their captured criminal.

"Hot head?" Nikita scoffed. "Surely you can think of something more creative?" The red head smirked, smiling slowly as they stopped at the front of the guild. Placing her hands on her hip, she looked up at the large building, squinting against the sun. "I'll have to see for myself if its the best guild." Nikita stated. Looking to Grey she gave a dainty smile and then crouched down next to Jacoby. "Best behavior, Jacoby. This could be our big break." She told the crowfox. "I'm always on my best behavior." The animal rolled his eyes, fluffing out his wings slightly. Nikita stood up fixing her shirt as she walked in through the large doors. "So," Nikita started, looking back at Grey. "What's this guild have to offer me? I have a lot to offer it." As Nikita turned her attention forward, she stopped in her tracks, overtaken by the immense size of the inside of the guild. "Whoa." She breathed, trying to take everything in at once. The place really was like a castle and it made Nikita shiver as the magic in the air touched her skin. Jacoby bounded forward, stopping a few feet ahead of her with one front paw lifted, small black nose twitching as he sniffed the air. The crowfox bounded back to Nikita, jumping in to her arms. This was a big place for a little fox and she could feel him shaking with fear, petting his fur soothing as he buried his muzzle in to her arm. "Nice place, droplet."

Chloe and Finn made it back safely to the guild, not many problems had happened. Chloe jumped swiftly off of Riki's back, she let Finn grab the masked man and throw him down, Chloe side stepped and let the man hit the ground, hard. The man growled and clenched his fist, unable to do anything about it. After Finn jumped down Chloe watched as Riki headed off deeper into town probably to steal some more watermelon, it was his favorite food. Chloe silently laughed and then looked back down at the man, she grabbed him by the edge of his collar, dragging him in the Guild. "You get to stay here until someone comes to pick you up, have fun!" she said with a grin. Chloe then realized about her wound she glanced over and with surprise saw it was bleeding, a large gash on the place where the wood sliced through it. Sudden the pain enveloped and Chloe winced, going down on one knee. "Ugh. Great just what I need, another battle wound." she growled calmly. Chloe stood back up again and looked over at Finn, a wicked grin suppressed her face, she ignored the pain that stung her skin. "Let's go get that money!" she said with a grin and thumbs up.

Image

Gray rolled his eyes, "Thanks, Hot Head. So...what do you think? You wanna join?" he said with a grin, raising his fist as his power flowed through his veins, he was unable to keep the fire out of his eyes, he had a burning passion to show this girl her place. The only reason of this was probably because he was water and she fire a natural enemy of both. Both were even but water usually had the upper advantage. Gray put his fist back to his side, keeping calm like the inner water he held.

Finn smiled as they arrived back at the guild, and grabbed the man roughly to throw him over the side. He smirked when Chloe sidestepped and the man began cursing them in vain. He shrugged and leapt nimbly down from Riki's back, entering the building with Chloe, who was roughly corralling the criminal into the building. Finn had already weaved a small simple spell that bound the man's wrists behind his back so he couldn't cause harm to them, and the spell had been weaved in such a way that if anything went wrong, the original spell caster who cast it, that person being Finn, wouldn't be harmed or overly fatigued because of it, as his energies were sustaining it now.
When Chloe went down on one knee from her wound, Finn was there in an instant, grabbing her elbow to catch her from falling all the way and to steady her. When she stood back up, he let go, but was still gazing at her in concern even though she seemed to be trying to ignore the pain and pretend she was fine. Guilt crossed his face and darkened his eyes as he still blamed himself for this particular injury of her's, along with his impulsive stupidity and failure to think ahead. As seemingly ignorant and care-free as Finn could be sometimes, she couldn't lie to him, and he was cleverer than he seemed. "I could heal that for you, you know." he murmured, the concern showing in his voice. "The money will still be there once you're healed." he said, hoping she would be reasonable and let him heal her.

Chloe sighed, she hated feeling like she needed to depend on Finn, and yet her mind raced at the possibility. "If you could that would be great. I don't exactually like walking around with a piece of skin missing from my body." she teased calmly. Chloe sighed and held out her arm, she winced as he pulled it closer to him to inspect it. Chloe bit her lip waiting and looking in the other direction clearly no amused of someone touching her wound.

"Well, hopefully I can fix that." he said with a small smile at her comment. He tried to be as gentle as he could as he inspected her arm, and muttered a soft apology when she winced in pain. His touch was light as a feather as he placed his hand as gently as he could over the wound. He closed his eyes and his lips moved almost silently as he murmured a spell under his breath; his hand and her skin at the wound-site seemed to alight with a soft, strange, glowing blue-white light. When he was done, he opened his eyes and pulled his hand away and gently let go of her arm, revealing skin that was healed and seemed near-flawless as if it had almost never been touched by the flying shards of wood. "There." he murmured, looking up to meet her mint-green eyes.

"T-Thank you." Chloe murmured softly, her lips tilted in a slight smile. She smiled sweetly at him than grabbed him by the collar of his shirt, dragging him so they could get their reward money. "I NEED MONEY!" she growled and stalked up to the front desk. A rather short lady with massive bright blue hair handed her the money and Chloe split it between them. "Woo! I got money." Chloe said, starting to dance around like a child getting a present for christmas. Chloe nudged Finn, "With your help, of course." she murmured with a sly wink. Chloe continued to show and brag to people about the money, not a care in the world."

"No problem." Finn murmured back, returning her sweet smile with a cute, boyish half-smile of his own, his eyes alighting like piercing droplets of the clearest rainwater. He stumbled for a split second, then followed her as she drug him by his shirt collar towards their reward money, chuckling softly as he did. He accepted his share of the money from her and laughed softly as he watched Chloe dance around like a child on christmas morning who'd gotten exactly what she'd wanted. She looks like Christmas morning... his eyes widened as he thought this, as he had no idea why he thought this, as he hadn't meant to think it, and it shocked him for a moment before he shook it off and put it out of his head, blinking it out of his thoughts and regaining his composure before she noticed. He was jarred out of his thoughts when she nudged him. He grinned and winked back. "Of course. You know you couldn't have done it without me." he teased back, nudging her back playfully. He just rolled his eyes when she started showing everyone her money, flashing it around like a prize. He pocketed his own, tucking it away safely instead of showing it off just so someone could decide to steal it from him. He smiled and grabbed Chloe gently by the arm, beginning to drag her back up towards the stairs to where the living quarters were. "Come on, Clo. Everyone already knows how good a job you can do. No need to boast. Someone might get jealous." he said slightly teasingly, amusement in his eyes with a voice that was light and calm, a smile still curving his lips.

"My name is Nikita, not hot head." Nikita turned slightly, looking at Grey with a sly grin. "I like it a lot. But I don't think I'll be joining." The fire elemental said softly. The young woman put down Jacoby, sending him on his way to explore outside. Standing up straight after bending down to put the Crowfox on the floor, Nikita rubbed her hands together, swiping off the fur that had stuck to her palms. "I don't really know you and I don't have any friends in the guild." Even though Nikita was pretty independent and on her own most of the time, she usually had friends in the cities and towns she visited. But she had none here yet and didn't know if joining a guild and committing herself to these strangers was a very good idea. Nikita looked to Grey, seeing the fire in his eyes as he sized her up. "What's the matter, droplet? Got an itch to your twitch?" She pouted her bottom lip. "I don't fight half naked boys or water benders, sorry."

"Gah!" Chloe grumbled as she was practically dragged up the stairs. "Well It seems as if My legs don't work." she grumbled and then wiggled out of his grasp. Chloe crossed her arms and pouted, "Well it's not my fault that the others aren't as great as workers as we are." she said sticking her tongue out at him. After a few brief moments of silence Chloe sighed, "Well, I suppose your right, Anyways I think I'll head back home, get some sleep and then start over again tomorrow, Kay?" she said with her signature grin.

Grey rolled his eyes, clearly not amused with her not wanting to join the guild. "What's a matter, Ho- I mean Nikita? To afraid to take on a huge water bender like me?" he challenged. Grey narrowed his eyes, "The names Grey, not Droplet." he growled, not liking the nickname anymore. Grey glanced down at his bare chest and quickly put on his shirt from which was lying right next to him.

"Oh please, why would I waste my time fighting you?" Nikita asked, flames appearing at her hands as her soft eyes flickered with a new light. "Must I prove once more that fire is the superior element?" She inquired quizzically. "You do not want to mess with me, Grey. I do not want to hurt you either, you have not wronged me." The fire elemental sighed softly, letting the fire flicker out as she brushed her hair over her shoulders. "I'll join your guild..." She said after a moment of thoughtful silence. "On one condition. If you can beat me, I'll join and learn all that I can. But, if I win, you have to come on an adventure with me, as a bodyguard." Nikita winked as he put his shirt back on. "Whatcha say, droplet?"

Finn stopped and turned to face her when she wiggled out of his grasp. He crossed his arms and leaned against the wall, an eyebrow raised. "Well, before you go anywhere, would you like to go out and celebrate our great work with some coffee?" he asked with a soft smile. His heart pounded against his chest for some unexplainable reason, and he tried to hide his fear that she would refuse. What was he so scared of? Its not like he was asking her on a date. No, it wasn't a date. Definitely not a date. He didn't want to admit his heart was just about beating out of his chest, but deep down he knew why his heart pounded like it did. He tried his best to hide the hopefulness in his eyes, just putting on a grin and burying his true feelings beneath that playful grin.

Grey grinned, putting a thumbs up. "You got yourself a deal." he grinned. Grey moved himself slightly away from her, his shirt fell to the floor as he got into a ready stance.

Chloe raised an eyebrow, "Uh, Sure. Coffee sounds great. Come on, Finny Boy." she grinned and grabbed him by the hand, running out of the Guild. Chloe felt a slight blush make their way to her cheek as she let go of his hand and soon she found herself by the coffee shop. Chloe waited as Finn opened the door and soon Chloe found herself sitting, their coffee had made it's way to their table and Chloe and Finn sat in a quiet silence.
