Personality
Due to her innocent face, large eyes and button nose, most people make the mistake of thinking Lottie to be week and naive, to gullible for her own good.
Most of these people end up badly hurt.
Lottie is smart and knows how to play with people's weaknesses and put her own appearance to her advantage, always acting to be innocent and sweet, acting like she cares and helping you however she can without asking for anything in return. Again that's how most people look at her, she is actually very devious and selfish, only doing acts that will help further her own gain and goals while not caring who she steps on in the process.
However like every disagreeable person in the world she does have a good side which is hard to find and get to, as Lottie is very mistrustful and guarded against anything she might consider betrayal.
With her keen love of fashion and latest celebrity gossip she is never at a lose for interesting and/or scandalise conversation, always able to get information on anyone if she puts on the right confidence, mindset and clothing. She is able to pull herself off as a celebrity or a hobo with a quick wardrobe change and still pull it off with surprising ease, and maybe if she hadn't been a changeling a future of an actress would of been likely.
Despite Lottie being the exact opposite in characters as her appearance shows, she does (unfortunately) have some very Dojikko traits. IE she is as clumsy as an elephant on skates, she can generally turn it around and make it cute but if you don't want something precious to you broken than don't give it to her or you might hear a crash a few seconds later.
She was also trained to be a bride by her mother, cooking, cleaning, sewing, the whole lot and she hates that she knows it because it won't stop haunting her, if she sees a mess than she begins to feel her hand itch until it's cleaned up, and this annoys her to no end.
History
Born into a rich family, she was taught her only possible future was that of a silent trophy wife to some random, rich or noble old geezer who her father would pick out for her. Her father held a high position in business and government, his only concern being money, power and titles, where as her mother only cared for elegance, grace and what people though of her.
Lottie's first shift was when she was 6, her mother had been making a fuss to the servants about the girls birthday dress and saying how ugly and disgraceful it was, that all the servants would be whipped if Lottie did not have a new dress immediately. The servants could do nothing about the dress, Lottie had chosen it to wear however non of the servants ran their mouth against the little girl for whatever reason. Not wanting to see the servants whipped for no valid reason, Lottie focus her energy on the dress and wished in her mind that it would change to the one that her mother wanted. The room descended into chaos as the girls cloths changed magically into the one her mother wanted the girl to wear.
Due to her fathers high standing, he was able to keep the girl at home till she was 16 however he locked her away from the rest of the world so the only people she ever had any contact with were the servants and the idols who smiled up at her from their glossy magazine pages.
Just before Lottie was wed to some ugly, old man, the military stepped in and took her from her family. She didn't feel sad, more free and liberated after her escape from her lonely prison of a mansion.
Unlike most changelings, Lottie could change anything she was wearing however she was unable to change her skin or become animal like other changelings could. It confused scientists and she was often the subject to constant poking and experimenting (torture) due to it.
But she was free to talk to other people, even if they were just hurting her, she was finally free from her old prison... Even if she had basically jumped from the pan into the fire.
Other
Lottie has no real dreams except to escape and live life how she wants to. She likes to gossip and learn new information, always trying to sneak into the town so that she can hear the latest news about who's-his-face and what's-her-name from the old ladies in town. She hates to be given orders and bossed around, she will do her things her own way and suffer the consequences however she refuses to be changed like a bird in a cage.
Lottie was able to get a small tattoo of a black butterfly on the back of her neck, though no one knew about it as it is always covered by her hair. It signifies her freedom and the beauty of the world.
