Cami is the average Spanish girl. She dresses very simple and classic and almost always has her hair down. She normally keeps it shoulder length because she believes that the longer her hair is, the smaller she will look which isn't good considering she stands at 5ft 2. She's slender, but has a nice hourglass shape to her body. Her hands and feet, like her, are very small. She wears a size 5 in shoes and sometimes gets frustrated because she can never find shoes that fit.

Camila is a very quiet and studious girl. She doesn't normally start up conversations with strangers because of her shy nature, and sometimes doesn't know what to do when strangers start conversations with her. She can be very awkward and tends to stutter when she's nervous or around someone she likes. Its hard for her to trust others, however, and because of that she tends to push people away without meaning to. Though she would never admit it, she's very emotional, but does anything in her power to hide that. She has a very mellow attitude, even in the face of danger or conflict she manages to remain calm and collected. She's the artistic type, always looking for new things to paint or new songs to become obsessed with Or a new form of inspiration. She often writes songs to kill time or ease nerves but has never shared them with anyone. She's normally sweet and gentle, but isn't afraid to stand but for who/what she loves. She's very protective of her friends and won't stand for anyone talking bad about them. She likes taking care of others in a maternal way, but she tries to avoid being nosy. She's not scared easily, and loves taking on challanges/challenging herself and proving Those who says she can't do something wrong.

Cami was born into a very small and poor family. Because of this, kids at school would make fun of her because she never had the same things they did. Since she was an only child, her parents always tried to give her the best that they could so she wouldn't have to feel left out, but this just made her feel like a burden to them. A few weeks after her 8th birthday, her parents, grandparents and her packed their things and moved to the united states. Despite not having many friends, she missed her old home and her cousin Ezra, who was like a brother to her. She try desperately to adjust to the new life style and the new language, but would often be bullied because she didn't speak English. She also started to see her parents less and less because they were now both working two jobs to support her and her grandparents. She started to feel more and more lonely until one day she met a boy named Alex. Despite her shy nature, they quickly became good friends and eventually became inseparable. She no longer felt that aching sense of loneliness. Alex always kept her laughing and happy. He was the reason she woke up smiling in the morning, but in the blink of an eye he became the reason she'd cry herself to sleep. During a fight with his father he hit his head and was killed instantly. For month on end, Camila couldn't eat, couldn't sleep, could hardly even get up in the morning. Her grades dropped significantly and she lost interest in everything. Alex had been her first love and she never even had the chance to tell him. With time, she started to return to herself again, but no matter how much time passes, she will still cry herself to sleep from time to time thinking abut her best friend.

She still lives with her parents, but plans to go away to college soon after she graduates. She wants to major in art and journalism and eventually become a traveling writer.

So begins...

Ophelia did not mind following Camila around school if it meant that she would be okay. Sacrificing her strong desire to stay home to be with her other best friend was not a problem. But Cami insisted that she went to school and that Ophelia stayed home. She said that she would be fine, but Ophelia semi didn't believe her. But Cami was strong. "Alright. But if you need someone to break you out of prison I will go and get you." Ezra would probably have a better time getting his cousin, but Ophelia bends tons of rules at school anyway. Breaking Cami out of school was just another rule that she knows how to break. But now that she could stay home from school, she pulled out her phone to text Nathan. Although he was close by he was with Willow. Ophelia and Willow aren't friends. And possibly never will be. So it was safer just to text him.
[TO] Nate ♥
[MSG] Can we stay home from school today?

When the message sent she rested her head on Camila's shoulder. She wanted to make her friend feel better. Ophelia had Nathan to make her feel better and Ezra wasn't here to help. She would mention Greyson again, but the point wasn't to make her red. "Hey, did you get your muse?" Nathan said he didn't get his and she was curious about Camila's.

When the sky returned to normal, so did Kelsey's eating. No more than a minute later her plate was empty. She drank the water that was in front of her and then watched her father eat. Greyson looked at his little girl and put another forkful of waffle into his mouth. Kelsey groaned as he chewed slowly. "Daddy you eat slow!" she said with a giggle. Greyson chuckled and handed her a fork. "Then help me eat it." Kelsey smiled and started eating the rest of the waffles with her father. Then there was a mini showdown for the bacon. Greyson took it and shoved it into his mouth. Kelsey laughed and so did he. Greyson got up, leaving his daughter at the table to put the dishes in the sink. Kelsey watched Lucas, Nathan, and Willow. She didn't really know any of them so she got up from the table and ran over to where her dad was.

Eric tried offering Evangeline some food, but she wasn't hungry. She just wanted comfort even if he doesn't know what he comforting her about. "Fruit?" Eric shook his head. "Ezra and Delaney went to get some, but they are taking their sweet time getting back." Eric shoveled some more eggs into his mouth and Evangeline just rested and waited. Just then a familiar voice rang into her head. She knew right away that it was Willow. She was the only person that could get into her head and be no where in site. It was best not to turn and look at Willow. Having people figure out they were communicating like this just caused unnecessary attention. Now Evangeline was never one to lie to Willow since she could really figure it out if she wanted, but Damian said not to tell anyone. It's nothing big. I met my muse and he kind of freaked me out That was semi true, but her muse was completely harmless. How are you and Lucas doing?

Matthew rested his head in his hand as Remi spoke to him about being too skinny not to eat. Although him and Remi were about the same size, Remi was taller. The smaller blonde was trying to actually listen to Remi as he told him that he needed to eat something. It was as if he was his parents. Then a deal was made. Remi would eat if Matt ate. Running his fingers through his blonde hair, he nodded in agreement. "Deal." He said, adjusting so that he was resting his chin in both hands.

Ezra claimed Delaney’s story was better and she shook her head. There was no way her story was better. She would have loved to share her experience with siblings or any loved ones, but she was alone like usual back then. But whose story was better was just a matter of opinion. They picked the berry bushes together for a few minutes, and when the plastic bowl was full, Ezra took it and carried it along with his basket. They both examined their work and Delaney nodded her head in satisfaction. They definitely had gathered a lot of fruit, enough for weeks, according to Ezra. If only that were the case. “I don’t know. There are like 20 of us in the house. We’ll see how long it lasts.” Delaney adjusted the basket on her arm so it was more comfortable and easy to carry, and she looked at Ezra, and then around the backyard. She saw vegetables hidden on the opposite side of where they were and she smirked. They would probably be out here again later for dinner, but she wouldn’t mention that to him, not yet. They had just finished with the fruit. Delaney headed towards the door they had come out through, and wondered how long they had been out there for. They must have been gone for a decent amount of time. She hoped the others weren’t annoyed with them. Mostly, she hoped Eric wouldn’t be annoyed. Thinking of Eric, she thought back to the night before when she was trapped in a room with him. She thought about how they couldn’t move the walls, so they just ended up sitting down next to each other. Then, her mind traveled to when Eric spoke a few moments before they fell, and how he wanted to tell her something. She still hadn’t figured out what it was, and she thought briefly about asking Ezra, but she didn’t know if he would know. He was friends with her crush, but how could he know? She chewed on her bottom lip softly. She would just have to get Eric alone and ask him. After school maybe.

Nathan finished his food off and chugged the rest of his water. He leaned back in his chair with a sigh and stretched his arms above his head. Greyson got up from the table, followed soon by Kelsey, and Lucas frowned watching the other child run away. Nathan saw him frown and he picked the boy up, putting him in his lap and wrapping an arm around him. ”Come on, finish your food little man.” Lucas finished his food off with that and then Nathan felt his phone buzz in his pocket. He glanced at Willow briefly, who was absent mindedly pushing her food around with her fork with very little effort. He went to tap her hand, but then she moved and took a sip of her water so he left her be. She didn’t like being touched very much, and he knew that from growing up with her. She liked her space. He dug his phone out of his pocket and read the name that popped up. He immediately smiled and unlocked his phone, typing out a quick response.

To: Ophelia
I’d love to, but don’t you think we should go to keep Cami company? She might get lonely at lunch.

He hit ‘send’ and put his chin in his hand. He didn’t want to leave Cami or Ophelia alone, but Cami was still shaken up over Talia. He knew Cami never missed school, and Ophelia must have talked to her about the whole school situation, but he still didn’t want to leave her. What if she broke down at school? Who would be there for her then? Ezra didn’t go to school with them and if Ophelia and Nathan stayed back, then what happened? He wasn’t sure he was ready to leave one for the other.

Willow played with her food as she waited for Eva to answer. She glanced up and saw Nathan hesitating around her, so she quickly took a sip of water to wave him off. It worked. She wasn’t hiding anything from him, she just didn’t want to share a story while in the middle of it. Communicating with Eva wasn't much of a story, but if questioned, it was still something to share. Nathan was easy to fool at times, especially by those he loved. E was a sucker and Willow loved it. He was the little brother to push around. She watched as he was occupied by his phone and then Eva's voice rang in her head. She brought up her muse scaring her, and Willow shoved her last bite of food in her mouth to keep from raising her eyebrows. She hadn't gotten her muse yet. She wondered how bad Eva's muse really was. She could just be soft around guys, then she turned the conversation around to Willow and Lucas. Lucas and I are fine, but don't make this about us. Tell me about your muse. What's he like and do I have to teach him a lesson? Of course she was joking, but she was partially serious. If the muse was really posing a problem to her friend, Willow might have to have a word or two with him. If that was even possible.

Ophelia was thinking about her muse when Camila cooed about hers. ”His name is Sound, and he’s the cutest thing I’ve ever seen!” She raised an eyebrow at her best friend. The only person she thought Camila found cute was Mr. Latier. Now she really wanted to meet this muse. Of course Ophelia only had eyes for Nathan, but just to see who she was talking about would have been interesting. "He’s a bunny” That made way more sense. Ophelia smiled. "Aww! I wish mine was a bunny." Ophelia had a thing for small cuddly animals. Before her adorable kitten she has had bunnies, gerbils, hamsters, and a chinchilla. They have all either died, ran away, or given away by her dictators. They were reluctant enough to allow her the cat. Her phone buzzed and she checked it before responding to Cami's other question.
[TO] Nate ♥
[MSG]Yeah that's what I tried to tell her. But she insisted I stay here. Do you want to go to school?

Ophelia would go if Nathan went. But if he was staying home, so would she. Placing the phone on the table she directed her attention back to her best friend. "My muse is like this blue little flame. Not as cute as the bunny." She added.

Greyson washed his dishes and his daughters dishes before he felt a tug on his pants. He looked down to see his daughter smiling at him. She was missing a tooth so it just added to the cuteness. "Need anything, Princess?" He asked, leaning against the counter. "Strawberries!" Ezra and Delaney still weren't back with fruit. "Soon." Just as he said that Remi showed up and tickled Kelsey. She started laughing and then hugged Remi. "Hi Uncle Remi!" She said. Pulling away she looked at him with concern. "Are you better now?" She asked, referring to how she saw him the other day. Greyson crossed his arms. "Go ahead and reassure the lady." Kelsey was extremely worried about Remi and wouldn't stop talking about him before she went to asleep.

Evangeline was happy to hear that her and Lucas were okay. Willow was the one she was really worried about. She had pretty much gotten angry, but then covered up how she was feeling. Lucas luckily had no idea what was really going on. Then her friend turned the question back to her. Eva wanted this to end so that she wouldn't have to lie about her confrontation with Damian. [color=20D4D4]His name is Air. And he just shows up out of no where freaking me out. He like appeared while I was taking a shower. I almost had a heart attack.[/color] She rested her head in her hand, in attempt to look like she was just waiting for the fruit and not having a mental conversation. Eric was done his food and he was bit worried that Ezra and Delaney hadn't shown up yet. He was just hoping that nothing awful happened to them. Because the last time people were separated, Talia got injured.

Remi and Matthew were silent for a moment. He was finally getting time with his crush, but Matt couldn't say anything. Today was just not his day. He had attempted to flirt earlier, but was shut down. Matty eventually shrugged that off. But the quiet was slowly killing him. He was hoping that Remi would say something. Anything. ”Ah, look there’s Kelsey. I’m going to- I’ll… be back in a minute” Except that. Matthew just watched him get up and leave. A sigh escaped him and he pulled out his phone. Scrolling through the contacts he called for his mother. "Hi Mom. Is Maddie awake?" Once his sister got on the phone he just started talking to her.

Almost nothing was said on the way back, besides Ezra saying they eat what they had picked wisely. Delaney almost rolled her eyes, but she suppressed the urge to. She didn’t want to seem rude, but she knew people would go for what they wanted, some without consideration for others. Hopefully the two of them had picked enough for everyone. They could find out what went and what didn’t soon enough. They arrived at the kitchen and people almost ran at them for the food. A few went right up to them and took what they wanted and some continued to make their ways over. Ezra helped her lift her basket onto the counter, and she thanked him. It wasn’t too heavy, but it was a good deal of weight and the help was appreciated. Before too many people started taking fruit, she grabbed a handful of strawberries, walked over to the sink, rinsed them off, and made her way towards Willow and Lucas. When she got to the two, she noticed Lucas on Nathan’s lap and Willow was staring down at her now empty plate. Delaney placed two strawberries on Willow’s plate to save the rest for Lucas, and then leaned over the table to place them on the child’s plate. Lucas squealed in delight and happily took a strawberry, taking a bite out of it. ”Thank you, Laney!” Delaney smiled at the child and sat next to her pink haired friend, who still seemed to be out of it.

Ophelia responded shortly after Nathan had sent his text and he pulled his phone out again. He was going to wash his and Lucas’s plates off while he waited for his girlfriend to answer, but that wasn’t necessary. He would wash them off after he figured the school situation or he felt he really needed to wash the dishes. He pulled out his phone to check the message he had just received.

To: Ophelia
”When do I ever want to go to school? I, personally, think we should go to school for her. It’s the first day of school so it will be easy and not much will be happening. If she insisted you stay here though, I’m not sure. Did it seem like she really wanted you to stay behind, or was there any look that she wanted you with her?”

He was conflicted on the matter. He loved both girls, in similar and different ways with different intensities, but the two were both suffering from Talia’s near death experience in different ways. While Ophelia had raged, Cami had sobbed. He knew Ophelia would at least be honest with him. However Cami acted towards her would decide what they did. He could use the extra hours of sleep and relaxation, but if he didn’t go to school now, he would have gotten up for no reason. He wasn’t fond of waking up to eat and then going back to sleep, but at least if he stayed at the mansion with Ophelia, they wouldn’t actually be sleeping. The thought made him grin slightly, but he still didn’t know what to do. He would love to stay home for school, but he didn’t like the idea of leaving Cami behind. Whichever Ophelia really wanted to do, he would do. Then, Lucas was biting into a strawberry and Nathan looked up to see his cousin. He bore his eyes into her as she sat next to Willow and Delaney stared back at him. So Delaney and Ezra really had gone out to look for fruit, and they brought back which appeared to be more way than enough. Nathan continued looking at Delaney and wanted to say something, but he couldn’t think of anything to say to her. Each time he saw her, he felt nothing but emotions run through him. It was mainly anger, hurt, and yearning. He wanted to reach across the table and shake her until she was delirious. He wanted to wrap a handle around her throat and scream at her until she broke down. He curled his top lip over his teeth. He hated feeling the way he did towards her, but he had no other choice. He was hurt, and this was his way of coping.

His name is Air. And he just shows up out of nowhere freaking me out. He like appeared while I was taking a shower. I almost had a heart attack. Willow stared at her now empty food plate in front of her. Eva’s muse, Air, seemed to be either some sort of pervert or douchebag. Willow didn’t like the sound of him. He was popping up on Eva in the middle of shower. Why would he do that? He seemed out of line to Willow, but as much as she didn’t approve of it, Willow didn’t think she would do anything, or try to do anything about it. Eva was making no reason for her friend to freak out and spring to her side. Eva would just have to bear it. Hopefully he won’t appear in the middle of showers anymore. Willow couldn’t decide if it was more rude or weird, or both. Why would he do that? Did you kick him? I wouldn’t let anyone who appeared in the middle of my shower go without at least the old one, two. Delaney and Ezra returned with the fruit and Willow didn’t turn her head to look at them. She could see them from the corner of her eye, and Delaney appeared at her side soon enough. The blonde handed strawberries over to her son, and Willow nodded at her appreciatively. Lucas thanked her, and Delaney took a seat by her. The sixteen year old didn’t say anything to her right away, so Willow looked over at her, to see Delaney and Nathan in the middle of a staring contest. She could feel the tension between the two across the table. It was rather obvious, and very annoying, considering she knew what the situation was. Willow pursed her lips, staring at Nathan, who was still holding Lucas. She knew Nathan wouldn’t try anything with Lucas in his lap, but if Delaney said anything to him, there was no telling what could happen between the two. Willow kept her mind mainly focused on her conversation with Eva, but she squinted her eyes and focused, locating Nathan’s thoughts. They were close and very violent, easy to spot. She quickly tapped into his brain, playing around with his emotions. She just needed to relieve him of a little of the hostility and tension between him and his cousin. There was a lot of rage and sadness among the emotions he was feeling now, so she worked quickly in his head. She could immediately see his shoulders relax a bit. That made her feel somewhat better, but not completely. If she called Lucas over to her, that could give Nathan the idea to do something. She pushed her plate slightly away from her and disconnected the link she had with Nathan and focused back on the link she had with Eva. She glanced at Nathan to study him.

Ophelia watched her best friend get up and declare that she was going to grab a fruit. Ezra and Delaney brought back an eclectic variety of fruits. "Bring be back an apple!" She called out to Cami before checking her phone. Reading Nathan's message she thought for a moment. Camila was a different kind of upset than Ophelia was. Ophelia can usual mask pain enough to make it through her day. Cami, not so much. Then she had to think about her two options. Support her best friend at school. Stay in the mansion and mess around with Nathan. Once choice was good and the other was better. The brunette groaned knowing what the right thing to do was. Even if Camila said she didn't need Ophelia there, she was going to be there. She texted her boyfriend with an answer.
[TO] Nate ♥
[MSG] You are like a moral compass. Looks like we are going to school.

Ophelia was going to hate her school day. But if it was for Cami, then it would be alright. Especially cause Nathan was going to be there.

Kelsey smiled wide when Remi said that he was fine. She cared about her father and godfather very much. She wrapped an arm around his neck when he had picked her up. She giggled a little when he had kissed her cheek. Greyson just watched with a smiall smile. Finally, Ezra and Delaney returned with tons of fruit. All he really wanted was strawberries for Kelsey. But Remi seemed to have that covered. But Remi grabbed an apple instead and said he would be back. Kelsey nodded and then went back to her father. [b]"Can I have strawberries now daddy?"[/color] Greyson nodded and grabbed a bowl and threw some strawberries in them. After washing them, he used a knife to cute off the green parts and slice the strawberries in half. Kelsey took her bowl and Greyson lifted her up and placed her on the counter so she could eat.

Eric saw Delaney and Ezra come back with the fruits finally. He waved for his best friend to come and sit with him. He would have waved for Delaney, but she went to sit with her other friends. Which was fine with him. Eventually he would get to talk to her later. He still had to tell her that he liked her. Ezra had been teasing him about taking it slow, but Eric didn't want to scare her. He then looked at his sister realizing that she didn't eat. So he called to Ezra. "Ez! Can you bring Eva some fruit?" He asked. Evangeline wasn't really listening. She was too busy having her mental conversation with Willow. It took everything she had not to laugh at her friend. She was always putting a smile on her face. No I didn't kick him. I just got him to leave. But I will remember this conversation the next time he just shows up out of no where.

Matthew saw there and answered a billion questions from his worried parents and even more worried little sister. He said that he forgot about a getaway trip for the school and everything. They practically grounded him over the phone, but they were happy he had called. Once the interrogation was over, he talked his little sister Maddie. She was doing most of the talking. Starting with her dream from last night about him singing to her. Then she talked about her day yesterday and how she thinks here day will go well today. Matt smiled and then frowned slightly. He missed Maddie. Out of the corner of his eye he saw Remi walking over here with fruit. That was when Madeline said she had to go. "Okay maddie. Have fun today....Love you too.." Then he hung up and looked at Remi. Then he looked at the apple. Then back at Remi. "That for me?" Matthew asked, pointing to the apple.

Ophelia did not get an apple, but she was just as happy sharing the strawberries with Camila. She popped it into her mouth and held the green leafy part in her hand. Without permission, she took another one. She knew the strawberries were Camila's favorite so she wasn't going to eat them all. But she did want some kind of fruit this morning. Her phone had buzzed again and she knew it was Nathan. Reading it, she smirked. The idea of being alone with Nathan made going to school worth it. They were going to make up for lost time. She could already imagine the things they were going to do and she eagerly responded back to his message.
[TO] Nate ♥
[MSG] We better. I need our fun time.

Turning she looked at Nathan and gave a quick wink. Her attention went back to her best friend and the strawberries. That was when Celeste decided to grace the group with her presence. There was a lot of power coming from her. Secretly, the pyromaniac was jealous of the power. Ophelia was not power hungry, but she just liked the idea of having power. But she would never do anything stupid to get it.

She was focusing on the words and Celeste was not wrong about questions. Where was Talia? Was she getting better? When could they all kill Kain? But she held her tongue. Disrupting her with questions wasn't going to get any of the questions answered. Finally, the powerful being finished and Ophelia was going to ask a question. But she was no longer in the kitchen. She was in the garage that she had been talking about. She mumbled a few curses. Upset with not being able to ask questions. Her eyes widened at the sight of all the cars sitting in the garage. There were so many kinds. There were even bikes, skateboards, and scooters hanging on the walls. Celeste kind of thought of everything.

Greyson watched Kelsey eat her strawberries. She was managing to keep the juices off her clothes, which was great. Less clothes for the father to wash. Considering he did not even know where he could wash the clothes. He only knew where his room was and where the kitchen was. That was it. He needed to explore the mansion just a bit more. Camila came over for strawberries and he shifted so she could wash them. He offered her a polite smile and Kelsey waved her at. She went back to her friend and went back to his spot against the sink. His daughter had finished her strawberries and handed her father the bowl. He was turning to wash it, but Nathan and Lucas were making their way to the sink. He decided to let them have it first. ”It seems Lucas has a thing or two to learn from your daughter.” Greyson chuckled. "If only you knew how long it took to teach her how to eat like that." He teased. When they were done with the sink, he washed the bowl his daughter had used.

Then Celeste showed up. Kelsey eyes widened and she pushed herself off the counter and closer towards her dad. She was just stunned by the sudden appearance and beauty coming from her. The father picked up his daughter and listened to what Celeste had to say. It was rather a relief to hear that they were still close to home. That means he had somewhere to take Kelsey too for safety. If they were to train for Kain, he would rather his daughter not be around for that. But until training started she could say. Then at the blink of an eye, many of the people in the kitchen disappeared. All he saw was Ezra, Remi, Eric, and Willow. Everyone else was gone. Probably to get to school. Greyson wasn't that worried. Celeste has yet to do anything that had made him lose her trust.

Evangeline was feeling a thousand times better talking to Willow. Just to know that she had his back was more than enough for her. Especially since she felt completely alone at the moment. When it comes to Damien, Eva always felt alone. Telling someone wasn't going to make anything better. It would actually make it a thousand times worse. So she was going to continue to keep her mouth shut. She felt the connection with Willow break and she knew that their conversation had ended. Which was fine since it seemed Ezra had come back with some fruit. She smiled at him. "Thanks Ezzie." She said picking up on the berries and putting it in her mouth. When Celeste showed up, it had gotten rather quiet. It was like they were all waiting for something important to leave her mouth. Specifically anything about Talia. But nothing. She didn't say anything like that. Instead she just told them exactly where they were. Evangeline reached back in the bowl to pick up another fruit, but it wasn't there. She wasn't even in the kitchen. "Ugh. I didn't even get to eat." It didn't matter now.

Looking around the garage she was impressed by what was there. She wasn't able to drive the cars, but there was a bike. But there was also a skateboard. She kind of wanted to ride the skateboard. It had been a while since the last time she had ridden one and now she had and opportunity to do so. She would wait for Delaney before making her choice. That is who she was heading to school with.

Eric wanted to shake his sister from whatever funk she was in so that she could eat. But when Ezra came with the food she started to eat it. Then Willow and her child ran over to Ezra. He just rested his head in his hand. Looking over he saw Delaney. He was hoping that she was okay. He was going to get up and go over to her, but Celeste appeared. He didn't say anything nor did he move. He just sat and listened. To everything she had to say. And when she was done, his sister was no longer beside him. Her food looked untouched. He turned and saw Delaney was missing as well. A sigh escaped him and he started to eat the fruit, Ezra had brought for Evie.

”Well who else would it be for? I distinctively remember you liking apples” The blonde smiled, shocked that Remi remembered a simple small detail like that. Matthew took the apple from Remi's hand and slowly bit down onto it. It was really good. He watched as his crush was about to return to Greyson, but then he came back. The older blonde took a seat close to Matt and watched him. He swallowed the apple that was in his mouth and smirked at Remi. "Are you trying to make sure I actually eat this apple?" He teased slightly. He took another bite before chewing and swallowing. "You are supposed to be eating with me." Matthew reminded. Remi did not have any food in his hand. That was when Celeste showed up. Matthew had forgotten about the apple he was supposed to be eating. He was listening to Celeste. He was hoping she had some news about Talia.

She didn't even address his best friend. Nothing about her was said. Nor did she give directions to the infirmary. And then everyone was gone. Well only for a moment. He was in the garage with everyone else that was going to school. A sigh escaped him. The apple was still in his hand. He took another bite and looked over in the corner. There were backpacks with everyone's name on it. He sifted through and saw the bag labeled 'Matthew'. Picking it up, he threw it on.

Image Eva immediately started eating the fruit once Ezra handed them over to her and he was relieved. She seemed to be distracted by something. Something big for that matter. He wanted to ask, but maybe it was something she didn't want to talk about in front of Eric. Evangeline often came to Ezra when she didn't know how to talk to her actual brother about something. Or because she trusted Ezra more, mainly because Eric was ten times more protective and he often only thought about what was safest for Eva, not that it was a bad thing, but it often kept him from listening to her. After deciding to ask her later, Ezra turned to Lucas who had greeted him excitedly. He chuckled softly at the toddler's question and was going to reply when a new voice came into the kitchen. Ezra looked up to see Celeste and he immediately glanced at Cami. Perhaps the woman had some news about Talia. Maybe she had woken up. Unfortunately she didn't even address the matter. She simply stated that those who had school had to go and just like that, a good percent of the people were gone. The only ones left beside himself were Remi, Grayson, Eric, Willow and the kids. That was one way to get everyone to leave. Then just as she had appeared she dissapeared. What were they supposed to do now? Laze around until the others came back. Ezra turned to Lucas, who looked puzzled, and smiled. "Don't worry, my schedule is free. We can play whenever you have time"

Image Cami happily sheared her small red fruits with her friend, but she ate in a hurry. She needed to get to school and who knows how long that would take. She also didn't know how she'd get there. Her car was still back at Ophelia's house, which she also didn't know how far it was. The entire situation was confusing. As Cami finished her last strawberry and went to wash her hands, the same woman from rhe night before walled into the kitchen and greeted them. Celeste was her name if she remembered correctly. Camila's eyes brightened immediately. If she was here it meant she had news about Talia. Cami quickly went back to her seat and listened attentively to Celeste's every word, staring in disbelief when she had finished. She didn't even bring up the subject. She assumed no news was better than bad news, but she could have at least given them a heads up on what was happening, or at the very least where they could find her. But nothing of the sort happened. Camila wanted to ask, but her train if thought was interrupted when she blinked and was suddenly in some sort of garage. There were vehicles of all types and sizes. She looked around at everyone. It seemed that all of the ones there were the ones that needed to go to school. She looked behind her, quickly locating Ophelia and Nathan and smiled apologetically. "I guess you're going to school after all" she said softly, looming around at the cars. Maybe they could all ride together in one, it would make things much simpler. That and Cami wasn't sure if she could handle driving alone just yet. She was still shaken up, even though it wasn't as obvious as the night before. Concentrating at school was going to be hard.

Image

Image Mathew seemed surprised that Remi remebered his favorite fruit and this made the older blonde smile. For once, he had been the one to surprise Mathew. It was usually the other way around. The smaller boy somehow always managed to either surprise or disorient Remi in some way, but this time it was Remi's turn. The boy asked if Remi was actually going to make sure he ate and Remi nodded, as if it should have been obvious. "Of course" he said matter of factly. Mathew didn't waste time before reminding Remi that he was supposed to be eating too. He had made a deal with him after all so it seemed like he had no choice. The taller of the two lifted his hands up in defeat and go to his feet to get himself some fruit but was quickly interrupted by a new presence. It was that woman from the night before. The same one who had taken Talia away without so much of an explanation or a clue as to where she could be. The woman began talking and Remi listened closely, hoping she'd say something about Talia, but nothing came. He stared at her in annoyance as she spoke about the others having to go to school. He didn't care about that, he cared about his sister and getting to see her. Maybe Mathew would stay home from school and they could sneak off to find the emfermary. Two heads would be better ran one. Deciding it was a good idea, Remi turned to Mathew. "Hey I have a-" he stopped talking as soon as he realized Mathew was vanashing into thin air. He blinked in confusion after the boy was completely gone and sighed. So much for that plan. As he looked around, there didn't seem to be many people left. He was relieved to see that Grayson was still there, as well as Willow. And though they weren't close, he got along with Eric and Ezra just fine. Celeste had dissapeared again, eaving Remi with more questions than the ones he had before. With a sigh he stood up and walked over to his best friend. Perhaps he would accompany him in his mission to find Talia.

Willow ran off after Lucas and left Delaney alone, not that the blond minded much. She turned her attention from her friend back to her apple and continued eating, completely getting lost in the colors and flavor of the fruit. She had just about finished when the woman from the night before appeared before the group. Celeste, if she remembered her name correctly. Delaney watched the woman as she spoke, she seemed sad or a bit shaken up still from the night before. She was hiding it well though. Soon enough the woman stopped speaking and when Delaney went to take the final bite of her apple, she found herself looking at multiple cars instead of the fruit. She sighed slightly and looked around, observing the room. It seemed most of them had all been transported to the garage, with the except of the leaders and Willow.

Delaney spotted Matthew and watched as he picked up a backpack with his name on it. She walked over to the backpacks, waiting until he finished, and then scanned the names until she found hers and Eva’s. She found it odd that supposedly everyone who could drive have a car and all those going to school had backpacks with their names on it. How long had Celeste and the muses known they would be here? Would they be here for the whole school year? The thought made her slightly uneasy but she would try not to dwell on it much. She picked the two bags up, swinging her onto her back, and carrying Eva’s in her hand. Delaney quickly spotted Eva and walked over to her quickly, offering her the bag. ”Might as well get going since we have no other choice.” The blond offered her friend a smile before scanning the means of transportation. There were bikes and skateboards they could use, since they couldn’t drive. Delaney quickly ruled out using a skateboard, considering the only times she did was when Nathan had his skater phase and made her learn with him. Delaney spotted a white vintage bicycle among the other bikes and smiled excitedly. It was like a dream come true. Eva would understand her excitement if anyone could.

Nathan finished cleaning the dishes and dried them off, putting them back in cupboards and drawers. He let Greyson use the sink and then he felt this phone go off. He walked back over to the table and halfway there, he pulled out the phone. He read it and glanced at Ophelia to catch her winking at him. He smirked and winked back, slipping his phone into his pocket unanswered. They would get their alone time. He wouldn’t back out on her. Just then, a woman appeared in the room and Nathan looked at her. She talked mainly about going back to school and such, but didn’t mention anything about Talia. He frowned slightly, knowing Ophelia and Cami would most likely be disappointed.

Then he was in the garage. He raised an eyebrow as he looked around, quickly spotting all the different cars and the overall size of the immense garage. It was impressive, and he would have never thought he would be so happy to see that many cars, even though he had never taken much interest in them. He wondered which car was his, but he spotted a familiar hair color out of the corner of his eye. The cars could wait. He carried himself over to his girlfriend, wrapping an arm around her waist. Cami soon joined them and Nathan smiled at her. ”I guess you’re going to school after all.” He nodded his head at her, relieve that she didn’t seem to be in such a bad mood. ”It looks like we don’t really have a choice.” He chose to keep out the fact that he had convinced his girlfriend to go after all. It seemed it wasn’t really necessary, but she still agreed and they would still get their alone time. It was all working out so far. He spotted a key rack on the wall not too far from them and squinted his eyes. They seemed to have the names of each person on them and he raised an eyebrow, finding it pretty cool. He had his own personal car. maybe the mansion wouldn’t be too bad after all.

Celeste appeared Willow took a step closer to Lucas, placing a hand on his head lightly. She glanced at her son, who seemed to be very confused and the appearance at the woman. She had tried to keep her soon as distracted from last night’s events as possible, and she could not have done so without the help of Eva. Celeste talked to them about everything except Talia. She hadn’t not even mentioned her, which concerned Willow. The least the woman could have said was “she’s in stable condition” or where she was. Saying nothing, in her opinion, was way worse than saying the truth. Even if it brought the worst outcome, there was no need to hide something, especially regarding someone’s health.

One minute everyone was in the kitchen, and the next minute there was only a small percentage of them. “And then there were seven,” she mumbled to herself as Celeste left them too. Willow slightly rolled her eyes when the woman disappeared. It wasn’t that she didn’t like her, she just wanted to make sure Talia was okay. She knew Remi must be worried terribly about his sister, and she glanced at him, the emotions she tasted from him the night before coming back for a moment. She crossed her arms to keep from shivering, and scanned the scene. Remi and Greyson were together, Ezra and Lucas were talking more about their play date, and Eric was sadly eating fruit. She didn’t know why he seemed so moody, but maybe it was because his sister had just disappeared into thin air. Willow turned her attention to Greyson. She knew Remi well enough to guess he would try to go find Talia himself since Celeste had been of no help, and he would probably drag the father along with him. He would go to the ends of the earth to find his sister, and Willow loved that about her friend. “I don’t know about you, but I think this would be a decent time for Kelsey and Lucas to play. I can watch over them while you and Remi go look.”

Damian had just reached the doorway when he heard a familiar voice. He saw the back of the figure and identified the woman as Celeste. Yes, he remembered her. He liked the amount of power radiating off her. He wanted that amount of power, but his own self built power. If he was going to become powerful, he wouldn’t deprive others of their own power. He loved a challenge after all. Just seeing her made him power hungry. What she was saying didn’t matter to him. What she could do and who she was did. It made him think back to the first time he had seen her and the conversation regarding Lord Kain. If the man was so powerful, then why was the job up to them? Why couldn’t Celeste take care of it herself? He lost his train of thoughts when he noticed his surroundings change from the kitchen to a garage. He stared at the others, his eyes immediately finding Eva. He knew she wouldn’t be driving, but he wasn’t going to offer her a ride. She would most likely not get in the car to begin with, plus that would raise questions. He drug his eyes off her and felt his stomach twist in hunger. No breakfast for him. It seemed as though he wouldn’t be eating until dinner tonight.

He glanced at the bookbags on the floor and found one with his name on it. He stared at it for what seemed to be forever. There was no way he was going to school. He didn’t do things because others think he should. He only did something he didn’t want to if it would benefit him. Just then, a familiar voice rang in his head reminding him of a deal he had made. ...carry on with your normal, daily activities.. Damian mentally scowled at his muse, Going to school is not a part of my daily routine. However, his muse was persistent, and he didn’t care to deal with the nagging. He heard every threat and calmly walked over to the key rack, slipping off the pair of keys that was his. If going to school would make her shut up, then so be it. He hit the unlock button on his car key and watched as a pitch black car in the far back of the garage flashed its lights.

Ophelia saw the backpacks in the corner of the room and decided to grab her own. Digging around a bit she found her backpack and then went back to her spot. Looking over the cars she was trying to decide how she would get to school. She saw Cami and shrugged the off the comment about going to school. Nathan was going to make her go to school anyway. But Celeste happened to seal the deal. Running her fingers through her hair she smiled at her boyfriend who had finally appeared. He also commented about having to go to school. It seemed the world was against her and her best friend and boyfriend was on the worlds side. "We are all going to the same place. Let's carpool." Ophelia suggested. No point of taking three different cars when they were all together right now. And they would most likely be heading back to the mansion together. "Nathan you are driving." she told him with a smile. Ophelia only drove when she absolutely had too.

Greyson started gathering the dishes in the kitchen that was left behind by the disappearing high school students. He was washing them as Kelsey watched insisting that she helped him. The father just laughed and continued cleaning, when he finished he picked his daughter. "There are no more dishes for you to wash." He told her, walking towards the others were. They didn't have school so he would spending his time with them. Probably Remi most for the fact he was going to need someone to accompany him in search of his sister. He knew Remi wouldn't resist looking. “I don’t know about you, but I think this would be a decent time for Kelsey and Lucas to play. I can watch over them while you and Remi go look.” Greyson nodded thinking that it s a great idea. "I like the sound of that." He said. Then he looked at his daughter. "How does that sound to you sweet heart. Want to hang with Willow and Lucas?" Kelsey looked over Willow and then at her father. "Sure daddy." Greyson put Kelsey down and she jogged over to where Lucas and Ezra was.

Evangeline decided that she would be skateboard when Delaney showed up with two backpacks. Eva took the her own and watched her best friend excitedly pick out a vintage bike. Eva walked to where she was with a small smile on her face. "Guess you found your true love." she teased, pulled a skateboard off the wall. Evangeline dropped it onto the ground and set a foot onto it. "Guess we should go then." She said since now they had their rides to school. Without waiting, she pushed off out of the garage knowing Delaney would be close behind her.

It was much quieter after everyone disappeared. It was like he was back at his own house. When Eva left, it was super quiet. That was why he liked having Ezra around. Kept him busy. But Ezra seemed to be busy with Lucas. Not that he was jealous, he was just bored out of his mind. Greyson was definitely going with Remi. Those two were practically inseparable. He looked over at Ezra. "Well whenever you are done with your playdate, we need to find something fun to do here." Eric said teasing him about playing with Lucas.

Matthew was not happy he had to go to school. He wanted to stay home and keep tabs on Talia. But Celeste had other useless idea. Like attend school like nothing weird was going on. Matty might skip if he feels the need. Not waiting for anyone else, he started walking towards the school. He never drives or bikes or skates. He prefers to walk and sing to himself. If anyone needs him they can just text him.

Image Now that everyone was gone, Ezra didn’t know what he was going to do for the rest of the day. He looked over at his best friend, who seemed bummed about his sister’s sudden disappearance. "Well whenever you are done with your playdate, we need to find something fun to do here.’. Ezra ch and shook his head as he looked back to Lucas. ”You play with Kelsey all you want and then come find me once you’re free, alright?” he said with a slight smile and held a hand up for a high five. As if on cue, Kelsey came over to them with a smile. Ezra gave her a quick wave before turning back to his best friend and leaving the toddlers to their playdate. ”So what did you have in mind?”. Ezra was curious to see what Eric came up with. He was the adventure lover out of the two and would constantly be coming up with things for the two of them to do, but he wanted to see what Eric could come up with on his own. The rest of the group seemed to have their own plans already, including Willow. But if she needed help watching after the kids, he would gladly stay behind as well.

He didn’t think he was that predictable, but then again they were his closest friends. If anyone could figure him out it was them. Willow volunteered to look after the kids while Grayson accompanied him to find Talia. It sounded like a good plan to him. The house may be big, enormous even, but it was still a house. If they looked long and hard enough eventually they would find the infirmary. ”thank you darling” he said, offering Willow a smile. It wasn’t his usual flirty smile but it was better than none at all. The tall blonde got to his feet and looked down at his best friend. ”shall we?”. He kept his lopsided grin in place and waited for the other’s response. If they wanted to find Talia today they’d have to start as soon as possible. WHo knows how long it will take to locate her. At the very least, if she was still alive, Remi would be able to sense her energy as they got closer. The first part of his thought creeped into his head again and he almost cringed at the way he was thinking. There was no if. She was still alive, he firmly believed that. His sister was much stronger than she appeared to be.

Image For the first time in probably ever, Camila didn’t want to go to school. She was still hesitant even when she was telling Ophelia she needed to get to school back when they were still in the kitchen. But now it looked like none of them had a choice. She noticed a couple of the others walk over towards the wall and pick up a bookbag.Cami hurried over herself and began to search for her name. After finding it she grabbed the bag and opened it. She needed to know if the essay that she worked so hard on for so long was still there. If it wasn’t she would be off to a very bad start. She ruffled through books and papers, all of them hers, until she found a familiar looking packet. She pulled the top half out and sighed in relief when she realized it was what she needed. Celeste really had thought of everything. She swung one strap over her shoulder and turned to leave but another name caught her attention. It was Ophelia’s book back just a few feet from hers, and Nathan’s just a few inches over. She picked both of them up and headed back to the two, holding out the bags as she got there. Ophelia had suggested the they carpool before Cami could say anything and she was thankful. She didn’t know if the couple wanted to have her around, so she was hesitant to say it herself. She still wasn’t sure if they did, they most likely wanted to be alone, but Camila didn’t. Not yet. ”Ready” she said quietly.

Delaney mounted herself on the bicycle and gripped the handles firmly, then loosened her grip and repeated. The bike felt nice underneath her. “Guess you found your true love.” Delaney cracked a smile at her friend as she got the skateboard down from the wall. “One of them, at least.” The image of Eric from last night popped in her head, when he planted a kiss on her forehead, and she blushed slightly. The thought didn’t stay for long, as Eva suggested they get going and Delaney nodded her head, kicked the kickstand back and started pedaling. She kept pedaling until she was close enough to Eva and looked around her. Celeste was right. Delaney knew exactly where she was now, and they weren’t even too far from the school. The abandoned forest. “Hey Eva, don’t you think it’s a little funny that our mysterious mansion is located in the supposedly haunted forest?”

Ophelia decided the three of them would carpool, and Nathan knew he would be driving. Ophelia close to never drove, but Nathan enjoyed driving. He did it as often as he could because he liked how relaxed it made him and how he could just drive for what seemed like forever. His girlfriend didn’t even have to say he would be driving, but when she did he cracked a smile at the two. “I expected as much.” He wandered over to the key rack and slipped his keys off, hitting the unlock button and watching as a red car lit up a few feet away. He returned to the two girls to find Cami with backpacks and he smiled at her, happily taking the bag and swinging it over his shoulder.“Thanks. Okay, the car’s right over here. Follow me.” He turned and walked over to the car, slipping in the driver’s seat and putting his backpack on the floor of the backseat. He started the car once everyone was in, buckled himself in, and checked his mirrors. Then he turned to the girls. “Everyone buckled in and ready?” He wondered just how long the drive would be.

Greyson and Kelsey agreed to the play date idea and Remi thanked Willow. She returned the smile to her friend. It was getting better at least. The thought of finding Talia might be doing more to him than she would have imagined. "Make sure to share if you find her." Willow wished she could go too, but she knew Remi would rather have Greyson go with him. Willow didn't mind, in fact she preferred staying back to look at the kids. Then again, she did have to find a laptop somewhere. She just needed her assignments for school, not that she thought she would have many. It was online school and the year was just beginning. Willow turned her attention back to her son, and Ezra made a deal with Lucas. Lucas frowned a little, obviously sad he couldn't play with Kelsey and Ezra at the same time. But after seeing the raised hand, Lucas smiled and slapped his little hand against Ezra's. "Okay! But make sure you've finished playing with Eric. I don't want to ruin your play date." Lucas looked at Eric and smiled a little before turning back to Ezra and sliding off of him. He went to join his mother and was greeted by Kelsey. The three year old smiled at the girl and then Willow looked at the kids. "Alright, kids. Let's go." Willow moved to the door with Kelsey and Lucas behind her.

Damian made his way to the car slowly, in no need to rush to get to school. As he walked he watched the others around him. Eva and Delaney had already left. Nathan, Ophelia, and Camila were carpooling. Matthew seemed to be on his own. Damian eventually reached his car and slid in, nothing bothering to put on his seat belt or take any other safety precautions. He started the car and sped out of the garage, immediately coming onto a dirt road and recognizing the forest. He had always had an interest in the wooded area, so much so he had spent a few nights in it when he was growing up. He had never found ghosts or anything the tales had suggested. It was just a regular forest with nothing special to it, not including the mansion now housing almost 20 people and supposedly invisible to every normal person. Damian stared out the tinted windows at the winding road ahead of him. He knew he would reach school soon, and he wondered what his schedule would be like. Worthless material with worthless people. Nonsense work with nonsense socialization.

Celeste wasn't sure what to do with the motley crew that she was given to work with. Every other generation of the elementals had managed to get along and seemed to be all related. It was more convenient that way. But everyone she was working with this time was different. Though similar environments the personalities are completely different. They clash and cause problems. Celeste can only imagine what could happen if she partnered the wrong people together. With a sigh, she walked away from her crystal ball. She had been watching the teenagers at school. She wanted to make sure that they were okay. There was no need to watch the young adults, she could hear them. Or at least she could sense them. There was nothing wrong going on so she didn't need to intervene on anything.

Sitting down in a chair, she leaned back and waved a hand. The elements muses appeared before her. They were all in the forms that were preferred by their users. "They need help. Talia is getting better, but she isn't well just yet. I do not want her training until she is at one hundred percent." Talia's muse nodded and completely disappeared to be with her. The rest of the muses were waiting for the rest of the instructions. Celeste was not sure what to do with them. They would not be needed training, but they would be needed to watch them through the night. "The rest of you. If you have not already introduced yourself to your owner, then do so tonight. They need guidance and a protector." Celeste turned to Damian's muse. "Don't let Damian hurt anyone, Gravity." The muse nodded. With a wave of her hand the rest of them disappeared. Next, Celeste needed to gather the elementals and prepare them for battle.

Another wave of of her hand, she appeared in the main ballroom. Mumbling a few words, she had her elementals appear before her. For a moment she was silent and allowed them to be confused. There was no need to speak just now. She wanted to make sure she got everyone except for Talia. Once they seemed to settle down and Remi was down asking questions about his sister, Celeste took a few steps towards the group. "Hello children. Sorry for gathering you all here on such a short notice. But it just could not wait." Celeste took a deep breath.

"Lord Kain has been growing stronger than anticipated. After the situation with Talia, I cannot risk losing any more of you." She started. "Training starts today. To keep things in order I have broken everyone into four groups with group leaders. For safety reason stay with these groups during training." Celeste did not mean to sound like a teacher, but she means it when she says for everyone to stay in their groups. She ran her fingers through her hair.

"Ezra you will lead Willow and Ophelia. Eric you will lead Damian and Matthew. Remi you will lead Evangeline and Delaney. Greyson you will lead Nathan and Camila." Celeste was hoping that her arrangement would keep people from getting hurt. "Leaders. Your only job is to make sure that the people you are in charge of do not get seriously injured. And please do not seriously injure each other." Celeste glanced over at Damian for a moment before looking over the ground. "The muses will tell you where the training facilities are. If you need me ask a muse to fetch me." With that she smiled gently and waved her hands once again leaving the group to train and be ready for Lord Kain.

Whatever important thing that Greyson was doing seemed not to matter anymore, for he was in the ballroom with the rest of the people that currently reside in the house. It seemed he wasn't the only one completely confused to why he was standing here. He could have sworn he was with Remi and Talia. They were getting vague answers to some questions that they had. Remi was with him, but Talia was not. She must still be in the infirmary, which means she is still not well. That was something that was obvious. What they had managed to figure out was that she was fighting for her life. Knowing Talia, she wasn't going to let Lord Kain attempt to take her life without some sort of vigorous attempt. Greyson knows that she will be okay. She always ends up okay. His attention was pulled towards Celeste. She must have been the one that called her here. Which meant that whatever was being said was vitally important. He listened to everything she had to say. "Greyson you will lead Nathan and Camila." Training started today and he was one of the leaders. It was an honor, but Greyson didn't really feel like the leader type. Luckily he didn't have problems with either Nathan or Camila. This should not be a problem. Or at least he hoped not. Celeste disappeared and a sigh escaped him. "Guess we should start looking for the training areas." Greyson stated.

Eric was confused. First he was with Ezra in what they figured was some kind of training area and now they are in the ballroom. Everyone else was confused, so Eric felt a bit better about his confusion. He noticed Celeste and realized that she must of been the reason that they were all here at the moment. So he decided it be best to listen to what she had to say. It was a bit worrying about how powerful Lord Kain was. He was coming after them and Eric immediately started worry about Evangeline. Though he was certain she could handle herself, that was still his baby sister. His whole world could literally fall apart if anything happened to her. "Eric you will lead Damian and Matthew" Eric did not mind being a leader. He kind of wanted Evangeline, but he wasn't going to say anything to Celeste. There had to be a reason for why they were put into these groups. Celeste disappeared and Greyson suggested they start looking for the training facilities. "Actually. I think Ezra and I found it by accident." He stated, looking over at his best friend suggesting he lead them towards that area.

Evangeline was no longer in school. That wasn't the problem. It's not like she enjoyed being in school. Her dyslexia made it hard to want to go in the first place. What she was confused about was why everyone was called into the ballroom, though once she saw Celeste the confusing vanished. Eva just assumed that she needed them for something very important. And it was. It was about Lord Kain and the groups training. Evangeline was afraid to fight. Any single one of them could end up just like Talia. That wouldn't help the situation, in fact it would be really bad. "Remi you will lead Evangeline and Delaney" Evangeline was more than okay with her group. It wasn't with Damian which was all that mattered. Greyson suggested they get started and Eric and Ezra led the group toward the facility. Eva stayed close to Delaney, thinking that if she was with her Damian couldn't bother her.

School was over. Or at least it was over for Ophelia. She was standing in the ballroom with the rest of the people that currently live in the house. It wasn't like the brunette wanted to be in school, especially because she would much rather be glued to Talia's side or bothering Camila about boys or cuddling Nathan or even cuddling her kitten. Anything was better than school. But this particular reason of being called out of school was an important one. It was about Lord Kain and Ophelia listened. She hated Lord Kain with every fiber in her being. No one messes with her friends and expects to live. She was already planning the different ways to burn him alive. "Ezra you will lead Willow and Ophelia" Willow? Of all the people she could have been paired up with, it had to be the rainbow haired girl. Ophelia was not happy. Ever since she has been interested in Nathan, neither her nor Willow ever got along. Ophelia never really tried to get along with her and vice versa. Not even for Nathan's sake. It was better if they just didn't hang out. But now they were in the same group. It was going to be fun fighting her. Even though Celeste strictly warned them not to seriously injure anyone. Willow has tough skin, she should be able to take some burns. Greyson, Eric, and Ezra didn't hesitate to start the group with their training. Ophelia just wanted to face Kain and melt his face off already.

Matthew was glad to be out of school. But if his mother found out he would be in serious trouble. Celeste was the one that summoned them so it must have been serious. Matty looked around at everyone trying to figure out why they were here before Celeste told them why. Of course it was about Lord Kain and having to defeat them. But she was starting their training today. Matthew wasn't looking forward to training. He was afraid of this battle. He almost lost his best friend to this Lord and he didn't wanted to be next. Leaving his sister behind was not something he intended to do. But it wasn't up to him. The stars chose Matthew to be the one and he has to accept that. "Eric you will lead Damian and Matthew" He was completely unsure about the group, but he couldn't ask for a switch. Celeste had a reason for everything. At least he wasn't with Remi. He wasn't really happy with the constant rejection. This morning he was being nice, but Matty still would have rather he played nice elsewhere. Remi was toying with his feelings and he wasn't going to be able to take it anymore. The leaders started exercising their right to lead and lead the group towards the training areas. Matthew could honestly say that he was not ready.

ImageTo say that Ezra was confused was an understatement. One moment he was in some sort of training room full of weapons he had never seen before, and the next he was in a large room along with everyone else. And there was that woman again. Celeste, who explained many things to them. Among those was the need to get rid of this Lor Kain figure and Ezra could not agree more. What that thing that done to Talia was not something that could be easily forgotten. Judging by the fact that she wasn't there with them, he only guessed she was still unconscious. She had to be, otherwise she would be kicking and screaming to get permission to go after the villain that hurt her. He must have done a good amount of damage. Celeste also explained how they would be starting training and Ezra smiled to himself. If he was correct, they would be training in the room Eric and him had found earlier. He was also to lead and was given two team mates, Ophelia and Willow. He had no problem with Ophelia, in fact they got along rather well because of Cami. Willow he had just met, but regardless they also got along. Not to mention he had already gotten attached to Lucas. The only worry was their relationship with each other. Ezra had no idea what state that was in. If they didn't know each other or if they were friends that would be easy to handle, but they very well hate each other and Ezra had no clue. He decided it would be best to ask Ophelia directly. He didn't know Willow well enough yet to ask such a thing, which would make it kind of rude. Eric suggested they lead everyone to the training room and Ezra nodded in agreement. They had just came from there. On the way over, Ezra thought it would be a good chance to ask. "Please tell me you and Willow don't hate each other's guts" he muttered to Ophelia, only loud enough for her to hear.

ImageCamila remained in silent confusion as everyone talked and questioned what was going on. Cami was no longer in school, which any other day would have been a reason for her to freak out over missing important classes and information, but her head was just not in it at all today. For the first time ever, she was glad to be out. It appeared that she was back at the mansion. Everyone was there with Celeste. Everyone except Talia that is. She looked at Remi, who seemed a bit calmer than before, hoping to figure out where she was. Celeste explained in detail what would happen from then on and Cami listened closely. She didn't say anything about Talia's condition. Nothing they didn't already know anyway. Cami frowned slightly to herself at the sound of the words "war" and "training". If there was anything Camila wasn't, it was a fighter. She always prefers to talk things out rather than fight, but she was convinced that Lord Kain wasn't someone you could simply just talk to and come to an agreement. Not after what he had done. Not to mention that knowing her best friend was still injured because of him gave her the teeniest motivation to kick his ass. Camila was past being sad, now she was determined. Determined to make Kain pay for what he'd done to Talia. Still, fighting and killing was not her cup of tea. And as if that wasn't nerve wrecking enough, she was put in a team with Nathan and Grayson as the leader. Never mind the fact that Cami used to have a crush on Nathan, now her current crush and the only person that could make her forget how to function as a proper human being was to be their leader. SHe let out a somewhat shaky breath as she followed everyone to the training center, which her cousin had apparently already found without permission, and decided to focus her mind on something else. She matched her pace with Remi's and smiled weakly up at him. "Did you see her?"

Image

ImageRemi was not happy. He had finally been allowed to see his sister, and now he was taken away from her just like that. Celeste appeared before everyone once again and Remi glared half heartedly. He knew she wasn't a bad person, but he also knew she was the one that had taken him away from Talia. Regardless, he wasn't too upset, only because they were getting the chance to train and later on kick Kain's sorry ass. The blonde almost smiled, thinking about all the ways he could get revenge. No one hurt his sister and got away with it. As Celeste explained the training teams, Remi tried his best to keep his mouth shut. He had already forgotten he was one of the designated leaders, but now he was actually given people to lead. Delaney and Evangeline. He could work with that. Luckily, as far as he knew, the two of them got along just fine. Also, as far as he knew, neither of them had anything against him personally. He just hoped They were as ready and willing to fight as he was. As they headed to the training ground, Camila caught up to him. She quietly asked about Talia and Remi nodded in response. "She was still unconscious" he said plainly. There was no reason to say she was better when she wasn't. The brunette frowned at his response and he did the same. Even though Talia was his sister, Remi knew Camila and Ophelia loved her just as much as she did. "Don't you worry, we'll get Kain back for this. That you can count on". As they arrived at the training center, Remi headed straight for the weapons. If he was to lead he had to start right away. He looked at Eva and Delaney as they approached him and gave them somewhat of a smirk. "You girls ready to kick some galactic ass?"

Image

ImageIt's as if her body was on fire. Talia had absolutely no idea where she was, or if she was even alive. One thing was certain though. She remembered what brought her here. She remembered perfectly clear. That ugly creature had dared to put his hands on her, to hurt her, and on top of that, mess up her new outfit. Dead or alive, Talia was going to kick his sorry ass to the moon. She could feel the adrenaline running through her veins, or maybe it was just the burning desire for revenge. Whatever it was, it was making her feel much better. She could hear voices, one in particular, that sounded very familiar. Remi?. She couldn't see and she could hardly hear, or make out what was being said, but that was definitely her brother's voice. He called her name several times, but she couldn't get herself to respond no matter how much she wanted to. This made her even more irritated, if that were at all possible. The voices continued to surround her for several seconds, and then all of a sudden it was quiet. No voices or sounds heard. Had she gone deaf? That would just be the cherry on top of the revenge-driven cake. Deaf or not, she had to see where she was at least. She fought harder and harder to regain her senses, and she could hear a faint beeping noise. So she wasn't deaf after all, nor was she blind she realized, as her vision slowly adjusted. She was in a white room, alone. AT least that's what she thought, until a woman appeared before her. She had never seen her before, but the woman was smiling down at her. The blonde immediately sat up, ignoring the spinning sensation in her head. "Touch me and i'll scorch you so badly your great-great-great grandparents will feel it". The woman seemed to find her threat amusing, which only added fuel to the burning hate fire. "Well you seem to be feeling better" she said in a soft tone, which for some reason annoyed Talia beyond belief. "Damn right I am! Who the hell are you? And where is that ugly bastard that dared to hurt me" Talia demanded. The woman didn't seem to know how to answer. "Forget it, where are my shoes, i'll find him myself" she attempted to get up, impatient with the woman's silence, but was stopped. "All in good time" she responded finally.

Delaney didn’t know what had happened. She had been sitting in history class, tapping her pencil on her desk as she stared out the window when all of a sudden she turned her attention to the blackboard but it wasn’t there. Instead of sitting in a desk in front of her teacher, surrounded by classmates, she was in a ballroom, in front of Celeste, surrounded by everyone else in the mansion. She sighed quietly. She had a feeling she knew what this was about. Practically every time she had shown up one name was always mentioned. As Celeste spoke, that same name appeared: Kain. Once again, there was also little mention of Talia. She wondered how the girl was doing, and glanced at Remi. From the look on his face, he guessed not well. Celeste then disappeared and left the others alone. Eric talked about the training room, and everyone started moving. Eva was suddenly by her side and Delaney sighed again. Everything was happening too fast for her to process, and she tried to run through what was said again. They would have to fight Kain, Remi was leading a group of her and Eva to train, and now they were going to a training room Eric and Ezra had already found. Delaney barely talked as Eva and she made their ways to the room, only making room for one comment. “I don’t like this.”

They finally reached the training room and Remi went right for the weapons. “You girls ready to kick some galactic ass?” No. She wanted to run. She didn’t want to fight. But she knew she would have to. It was inevitable. Plus, fighting meant hurting Kain, the one who hurt Talia. She couldn’t say no, especially since Talia was hurt. Delaney couldn’t say no to Remi. She half smiled and nodded her head. She would have to fight eventually, so she might as well get ready for it.

Nathan was in a ballroom. He had sworn he had just been in school a few minutes earlier, but now he wasn’t and he wasn’t complaining. He would rather be out of school than in school.
He looked around and noticed everyone from earlier, and then saw Celeste. She assigned groups and Nathan looked around and found Camila and Greyson, who he was assigned to a group with. But one group in particular caught his attention: Ezra, Willow, and Ophelia. That was not good. He had his best friend and his girlfriend in the same group, bound to fight each other at some point. And it was an understatement to say they didn’t get along. He just hoped neither ended up in Talia’s position in critical condition, or whatever condition she was in. Celeste had not mentioned and no one had really asked. Nathan sighed and looked for Ophelia, who was with Ezra. Seeing Ophelia was busy, he jogged over to Willow.

Willow didn’t know what had happened, but she wasn’t with Lucas or Kelsey anymore. Instead it was Celeste and the others. She crossed her arms, slightly annoyed. Whatever they were all here for, it better be important. She still had work to do and she wondered who was caring for the kids now. Maybe it would be her muse or Greyson’s. If it was hers, she hoped she’d get to meet him or her soon. She wanted to know where hers was and if it was the man Lucas had drawn, which would make sense. “Ezra you will lead Willow and Ophelia.” Ophelia? Willow squinted her eyes at Celeste. Of all people, she had to be stuck with the rich, hothead. The person she least wanted to be near. Even Damian would be better. Ezra, she didn’t mind, even if she barely knew him. Everyone started moving and Willow realized someone was suddenly next to her. She didn’t even have to look. “What, are you gonna warn me not to hurt your girlfriend?” Her best friend laughed and shook his head. “You know me so well. I’m worried about you guys killing each other. So just don’t kill her, okay?” She rolled her eyes dramatically. “Yeah, you don’t have to worry about that. I don’t plan on killing her while you guys are an item, because if I did I’d have to hear you mope about it and then mess with your head.” Nathan shuddered slightly. He wished she was kidding, but he knew her better than that. Willow barely joked about stuff like that. “If you’re little girlfriend plans on playing with fire, then I hope she likes mind games.” Willow mumbled the last line before taking a few steps ahead of Nathan, entering the training room and leaving him behind.

He had been forced to go to school, and now he was being pulled out of class. What a joke. He leaned against the wall he was next to, and surveyed the group as everyone looked around or looked confused. He didn’t know why he was here either, but he wasn’t going to let on that he was as clueless as them. The woman from the earlier announcements, Celeste, stood before them and told the Lord Kain had even become more powerful and they would be needing to prepare for battle. He smirked slightly. Fighting Lord Kain? He didn’t think so. He loved to fight and the pain that came with it, but he knew that most of the people in the ballroom were running on raw emotions from the incident with the one girl, Talia. Lord Kain had beaten her so brutally, but she was irrelevant to him. It was quite amusing to see everyone so riled up about one man. Damian was somewhat jealous, that one man could muster up so much hatred and fear at just the mention of his name. He was not power hungry, but being recognized and known as an eminent threat, he imagined, must be a beautiful thing. “Eric you will lead Damian and Matthew.” The statement made him scoff. Him, be led by another? Absolutely not. He did things on his terms. he had been a loner all his life and he didn’t plan on that changing.

Celeste commented on people not seriously injuring one another, and he found a hint of humor in it. It had been directed at him, but there was no need for it. At least not with the training everyone would be doing together. Damian was not interested in the training. He had no desire to train with anyone. Except Eva. What the two of them would be doing is something of an experiment, to say the least. He would not be taking part in training, but the training room did sound enticing. A small peak at it wouldn’t kill anyone. He watched as everyone filed out of the ballroom and he waited a few minutes before trailing them.

Ophelia was going to go and complain about her assignment to her boyfriend, but Willow was taking up all his precious time. So she just hung back and decided not to say anything. She could just fight her during the training. Next then Ezra came next to her. Ophelia was kind of close with Ezra because of how close she was with Camila. They were practically related. "Please tell me you and Willow don't hate each other's guts" Ophelia let out a small giggle. She was trying to think of a way to explain how much she hated that pink haired girl, but she couldn't. "Let's just say that if I wasn't dating her cousin, I would have already set her on fire." She muttered back with an innocent smile on her face. Nathan knew that the two didn't like each other so he would try and keep them apart. But sometimes when they were together it was a screaming match. At one point they ended up using their powers on each other in the house. That's the only reason why they knew about each other's powers. "Don't worry. I will be on my best behavior. So long as she keeps those mind tricks to herself." She said. The group got out to the training area and Ophelia watched as the pink haired girl joined the two. The pyromaniac acknowledged her, but didn't greet her. She was just waiting for the part to where she could kick her ass.

All that mattered at this point was that Evangeline was not with her over protective brother or the psychopath. Being with her best friend was the greatest thing that could have possibly happened. Being led by Remi seemed okay. She didn't know much about him, but she did know that it was his sister that was attacked first. Evangeline believed that was he was going to be a good leader. Celeste wouldn't have assigned him otherwise. When they got to the training area, the air manipulator looked around. She was kind of nervous about what she was going to have to do. What if she wasn't good enough? What if she ends up like Talia? She just wanted to make sure that whatever happens, her brother was safe. “You girls ready to kick some galactic ass?” Remi seemed eager to get training started. Evangeline shrugged her shoulders. "As ready as I will ever be." She said. Then a question popped into her head. "What exactly is your ability, Remi?" It would be useful information to know.

Image
Image

Greyson did not really know much about who he was in charge of leading. He knew of them, of course, but he knew nothing about them. He did find Camila to be quite cute and he knew Nathan was dating Ophelia. That was the extension of his knowledge. He made a mental note to get to know them later. They got to the training facility and he prayed the muse would take wonderful care of his Kelsey. He waited for Camila and Nathan to come and find him. Once they did he smiled. "Hey. Ready to train?" He asked, trying to make light of this entire situation. "What are your abilities? Mine is being able to manipulate water." He said. Demonstration was unnecessary. They would see while they were training.

Eric was ready to train for the battle. He wasn't sure how he would do as group leader, but his only real job was to make sure that Damian and Matthew stayed safe. It was simple enough. Eric was able to keep Evangeline safe, despite how hard she would make it. Speaking of which, he saw that she was with Delaney and Remi. He trusted the both of them to make sure nothing happened to her. So his focus went to his own group. He didn't know either of them, but that would be fine. He could introduce himself and his ability when they all met up. Once they got to the training facility, Matt and Damian managed to find him. "Hey. Ready to kick Lord Kain's ass?" He asked, rhetorically. "What are your abilities by the way. Mine is earth." He stated, waiting for answers.

Image
Image

Matthew kept to himself the entire time he was on his way to the training facility. He really wanted Talia to be out here with him. His best friend was still recovering and he didn't like it. Remi was leading a completely different group so he couldn't go and talk to him. He was stuck with Eric and Damian. The group didn't sound all that bad. Eric wouldn't have been leader if Celeste felt that he was incompetent. He managed to find Eric. Immediately he greeted them and attempted to make this seem fun. Then he asked for abilities. Matthew decided to speak up first. "I can manipulate poison." He stated simply.

So Remi controlled energy, and Eva controlled air. She had known about Eva, given they were best friends, but Remi’s power was news to her. She raised an eyebrow slightly when he explained his power and seemed to demonstrate on Eva. Delaney could practically see Eva perk up more, like she was given an extra boost. Remi’s power didn't seem so bad, but being able to control something like energy seemed like it could be very dangerous if misused or used for the wrong reasons. It made her realize she was glad she could only manipulate plants. It had never seemed like a very strong power, but she didn't care about that. She turned to Remi, realizing she hasn't explained what she could do. “I can manipulate plants.” Hearing the words come out of her mouth made her seem like her powers were rather lame. She hadn't noticed before. She turned and looked at the rack of weapons next to them. She picked up a knife and clutched the handle tightly. “Do either of you know how to fight with a weapon?” The only time Delaney had held a knife was when she was in the kitchen preparing a dish. She had never held one with the intention of learning how to fight with it.

Nathan met his group in the area and smirked once he saw Greyson and Cami. He couldn't imagine how awkward Cami must feel right now, being in a group with the guy she liked. It was like the two were meant to be together. The thought of Greyson and Cami being together left something like a bad taste in his mouth but he kept his smile. He couldn't let this arrangement bother him. So what if he’s still getting over her? He had Ophelia and she was all that mattered to him. Plus, Greyson seemed like a great guy. As if on cue, Greyson spoke up, breaking Nathan’s train of thought. He had questioned what they could do, and explained that he could manipulate water. That was cool to him. Nathan always wish he had an ability he could see physically being manipulated, but with time, he could only see the effects of his manipulation. “Call me Fr. Time.” Nathan joked lightly. He looked at Cami as she said she was sound, and together, Nathan thought they had a pretty strong group. However, maybe one of the most difficult to control element wise. He wasn't sure how well Greyson and Cami could manipulate their gifts. He knew what Cami could do and had seen her play around with it before, but nothing major. Nothing like he might see today. As he thought about what was to come more and more, something struck him. The actual process of training. He could only assume none of the leaders had done anything like this before, and if they were really going to train, what was going to happen? “So, how exactly are we going to train?” He imagined himself in the gym weight training. Something told him this would be a very different experience.

Willow stood on the side of the combat zone, watching as Ezra and Ophelia walked over. Ophelia made a slight gesture to her, making it evident that she acknowledged her presence. In return, Willow gave a slight head nod. That was all the redhead would be getting, and Willow knew she wouldn't be getting anything else either. At least nothing else friendly. The next thing the hothead planned to give her was probably a fist to the face. It wouldn't surprise her, as the feeling was mutual. Willow couldn't help but be put in an even worse mood when her best friend's’ girlfriend was around. The sight of her irritated Willow. There was no other way to put it. Ezra, having noticed the tension between the two or having asked Ophelia of their relationship, started to lay the ground rules. It was pretty funny to see what he ordered: no killing each other and no killing him. It was like he knew their history. Then he invited one of them to show off, but against him. The invite was a little boring, and frankly Willow wasn't interested much in training her powers. She knew her weak point was physical combat and she would rather have a lesson on that, but it was reasonable that they were focusing on their gifts first. They would take more time to master. But she didn't accept the invitation. “Don't you think it's a little early to be inviting me in, given I only know your name?” She let the sarcasm roll of her tongue, but she couldn't help but smile a little as she spoke.

The others had entered the training area and Damian spotted his fellow “team members.” The phrase made him want to laugh. Seeing everyone in their groups made him want to roll his eyes, but he would never. There was no point in showing such emotions because of others. If they wanted to be puppies and follow orders so easily, they could. He wouldn’t object. It was their choice, stupid or not. Damian stared down Eric and Matthew for a few seconds before walking over to the wall next to them. He leaned his back against it, staring at the wall opposite of him. Eric made some half-hearted attempt at an icebreaker and then continued to question them about powers. Matthew was eager to answer, explaining his power was poison. Damian didn’t bother to answer. He knew Matthew was poison, and he knew Eric was Earth. If they didn’t know what he could do, that was on them. He was not obligated to work with them. He didn’t plan on it, so there was no need to explain himself to others. “I don’t work with others.” He said plainly, his voice as monotone as ever. After a few seconds, he drew his gaze from the wall to the eyes of the others. While he didn’t plan on working with them, he did plan to stay and observe. He wanted to check out the room and see to what extent everyone could manipulate their powers. But until. he waited for the objections and questions that were sure to follow from the two boys.

Ophelia was not looking forward to this at all. Out of the corner of her eye should see Nathan and Camila training together. How did she get stuck with Willow? It was like she was being punished. There was no way she would make it through without needing to set her on fire at least once. Ezra thought it as best that he set ground rules. The first was no killing each other. Ophelia wasn't sure if that one would be followed, but she didn't say anything. His last rule was not to kill him and the brunette giggled a bit. Ophelia would never. Not just cause he was her friend, Camila would kill her. "Who wants to show off first?" The pink haired girl eagerly piped up about how early it was to invade his mind. Ophelia refrained from rolling her eyes. There is never really a right time to invade anyone's mind. And considering it was an open invitation there was no need to worry about it. So the pyromaniac decided that she was just going to go first. Though both of them should know her abilities. Holding out her right hand she created a ball of fire. Once it was dense enough, she tossed straight ahead and it landed on the ground, dying immediately.

Remi did not mind showing off his ability. For a moment there was some silence. She was expecting an explanation for his energy power, but instead he just touched her nose. Evangeline was confused at first, but then she felt it. She had perked up. Not too much, but she felt way more energized than before. "That's cool." she said with a smile. It was like she had just had coffee. Eric doesn't let her have coffee since it can stunt growth, but if she just kept Remi around she wouldn't need it. Delaney brought up her plant power and Eva smiled. She loved the plant power. Delaney has the ability to bring about beauty. It was cool and at least her power was visible. "Air." She said. Evangeline did not demonstrate. It was self explanatory. Delaney picked up a weapon and asked if either of them knew how to fight with it. Eva shook her head. "I'm a dancer. Not a fighter." she said.

Camila can manipulate sound. Nathan can manipulate time. And Greyson could manipulate water. This was what he would consider a mixed bunch. There was no helpful way to combine their abilities and train so they needed to do something else. Greyson thought for a moment and decided that hand to hand combat would be best for now, then he could figure out how to incorporate their abilities from there. "Hand to hand combat. Then we can figure out how to mix in your powers." He wasn't sure if Camila would be okay with fighting them, but Greyson wouldn't hurt her. He highly doubting that Nathan would hurt her. She would be safe, but if she felt uncomfortable she would understand.

Matthew could work with poison. That was actually pretty cool. He was expecting Damian to say what his ability was, but all he did was go and sit away from the group. "I don’t work with others.” Eric and Matthew were both equally confused. It was as if he wasn't around when Kain almost killed Talia or when Celeste told them that Kain was after them. Matthew was a bit intimidated by him, but Eric wasn't. At all. "Well you don't have a choice. We need to protect ourselves against Kain and training with others will help." Eric said, crossing his arms. Matthew took a few steps back. If there was going to be a fight he didn't want to be in it.

ImageWillow immediately answered Ezra, but instead of facing off against him she expressed how she thought it was too early for her to invade his head space. Ezra honestly didn't care, not to mention that if he was to be the leader he had to see what they could and couldn't do in battle. Willow's power was mind control, which meant that Ezra's main focus with her had to be on her hand to hand combat. He had no doubt she could control her powers just fine. Ophelia took the opportunity that Willow dropped to present her power. Ezra smiled slightly as the ball of fire fell to the ground and slowly died out, then looked up at the brunette. "That's great Ophelia, but I wanna see what you can really do" he said as he slowly began to form an invisible wall just large enough to cover his body. The only evidence that it was there were the silver outlines that Ezra decided to add to show her that he was protected. "Can you break this wall down?" he asked, knowing that she could. He was just curious to see what kind of technique she would use to do so.

ImageThe assortment of powers was a rather strange one, but Camila didn't complain. She would just be happy if no one got injured. Grayson suggested they begin with handed to hand combat and the brunette was immediately nervous. The only thing she knew about fighting was the very few defense tricks Ezra had shown her when he used to do street fighting. But she had never had to use them, so it would be a miracle if she even remembered how to execute them correctly. She remained silent, despite her nerves, not wanting to put a damper in Grayson's leading and just hope Nathan would volunteer to fight first, meanwhile Camila recovered herself enough to be able to at least throw some punches.

ImageEvangeline expressed how cool she thought Remi's demonstration was and the blonde smiled slightly. It's something he often used on Talia when she was tired and out of energy. His sister hates coffee, but Remi's energy surge always managed to perk her right up without the need to drink the black liquid. Now that everyone know the other's powers, it was time to get started. Delaney picked up a weapon, asking if anyone know how to use it. Remi shook his head. "Not a clue". Just because he was the leader, didn't mean that he knew everything. The blonde had never had to use a weapon in his life, so he had no idea how to use any. He thought for a moment. Were guns the best way to start? He recalled Delaney mentioning how her power was controlling plant life, something unusual but very beautiful. However, very powerful as well. "Have you ever tried making a weapon?" he asked as he turned to the blonde, taking the current weapon from her hand. It was a powerful one, but if she could manage to create one out of her element it would be much more powerful.

ImageTalia didn't understand why she couldn't go fight. She felt fine, but the woman said she wasn't healed. The blonde sighed in annoyance. "When will I be healed then?" he almost demanded. Magma turned around and walked up beside her, handing her a small pill and a glass of water. "Take this and you should be all set" she explained. Talia stared at the pill slightly surprised. "Seriously?" she asked almost not believing it. The woman nodded and Talia didn't hesitate to take the small pill. Seconds after it was in her stomach, it was as if every aching part of her had disappeared, or been replaced with brand new ones. She smiled brightly and got to her feet. "Well let's go!". In the blink of an eye, Talia and her muse were standing outside of what she guessed was the training area. The woman inspected her one last time and then placed a soft kiss on her forehead before disappearing. The blonde let a small smirk spread on her face. She ran her fingers through her long hair, adjusted her new clothing that Magma had provided for her and made sure her heels were in place. It was time to kick some ass. She pushed on the double doors with enough force to cause them to fly backwards and slam against the walls with a loud thump. Everyone seemed to be in groups, but she didn't know which one she was in. She decided she'd just have to find one of her closest friends and join their group. Not that it mattered much. All she cared about right now was hurting that bastard that hurt her. She spotted her brother and stomped up to where he was standing. "Alright, who do I kill?". The anger radiating from her body was so intense, it was almost visible. She needed to hit something, anything. She needed revenge.

Neither of them knew how to fight with the weapon, and Delaney nodded her head. I guess it made sense. None of them really seemed to be the type to be holding someone hostage or practicing knife skills on the side. There were other types of weapons near them, but there would be no point in asking about them if they said no to the first one. Remi took the weapon out of her hand and put it back. “Have you ever tried making a weapon?” Delaney looked at him, confused. She didn’t know how she could make a weapon. She looked around. She didn’t see anything she could work with, so she’d have to start from scratch. She shook her head slightly, answering Remi’s question. She looked at Eva before extending her hands in front of her and closing her eyes. She had to concentrate. She didn’t know how to construct a weapon or what kind of weapon she should even make, but something was better than nothing. Just as she was about to start, she heard a bang. It wasn’t too loud, but it was loud enough to make her jump and lose her focus. Then she saw Talia standing by them, right next to Remi. Delaney was amazed, and couldn’t think of what to say. But right now, words didn’t seem to matter. Talia was seemingly perfectly healthy. Already.

Nathan could work with hand to hand combat. He was excited now, actually. He looked at Cami, who seemed to have shrank back the slightest bit. He smiled at her and stepped up to Greyson. He would take the first fight. Not just because he wanted to, but because he knew how Cami felt about fighting. She most likely didn’t want to participate, and until she had to, Nathan would take a few rounds with Greyson. He held out his hand to Greyson to shake before they started. The fighting would be key to training, and it would be fun to see what everyone was capable of.

Ophelia made a weak attempt, or what appeared to be weak attempt, of a fireball and tossed it at Ezra’s feet. Willow watched as the orange ball disappeared shortly after hitting the ground. Ezra was quick to react, creating an practically invisible wall in front of him. Willow watched silently as the two continued training. There was not much she could do but sit and watch. After a few minutes, she heard a loud bang and turned her head to see what the noise was. It turned out to be a person. She watched as Talia came charging in. Willow watched as the girl stormed over to her brother, a visible fire raging within her. She raised an eyebrow. She wasn’t surprised at how the girl was acting, but how quickly she had recovered. It seemed like the tragedy had happened two hours ago. “Well would you look at that..”

“Well you don’t have a choice. We need to protect ourselves against Kain and training with others will help.” Damian found it hard to believe that he was being told, almost threatened, that he had to stay and train with them. Participation, apparently, was a must. He didn’t think so. He stared at the two for a few moments. Matthew had backed away and Eric had crossed his arms, showing he wouldn’t take no for an answer. Damian quickly assessed the situation, and it appeared it would be in his best situation to submit to the demands and agree to train. But no such thing would be happening. Not now, not ever. “I am well aware of the predicament we are all in, and the misfortunes that have occurred since we have arrived. However, I do not believe in group work. I have never worked with others, and doing so goes against my personal beliefs. If I asked a Catholic to kill a sinner because it guaranteed the safety of thousands, what do you believe he would do? While their faith declares they should devote themselves to the wellbeing and care of others, killing defies their Lord’s highest laws, the Ten Commandments. It goes against all their beliefs. Your demanding me to participate, to throw away the beliefs I hold most dear and shape my life according to, is asking me to defy my own God.” The comparison he made may have seemed a little extreme, but it related to their case. In this case, Damian was the Catholic. Lord Kain was the sinner. The thousands were the rest of the group and the world, for that matter. A door closed and Talia walked swiftly across the room, straight to her brother. “What good is a fighter at war, if also at war with himself?”
