A maid for one of the upper class, her family was killed by her 'masters'. While she has grown up to believe she was not human, but furniture, she still has some of her human spirit left. At least enough to eventually break free from her 'prison'.
Romi is person with very low self esteem. She believes that she is as disposable as a piece of furniture, and nothing can change that. Once she gets out of her 'home/prison' however, she learns that she is not as insignificant as she believed. That she shouldn't take herself for granted and should learn to live life to the fullest. Needless to say, her personality/demeanor changes a bit during the rp.
Romi carries a large array of knives, which she learned to throw quite well with the help of her older brother before he died. She also uses the earth at her disposal when earthbending, but this is kept at a minimum.
Romi also carries a small bag of dirt and rocks from when her parents were young. They kept this one bag and gave it to generations of earth benders in order for them to do some form of bending, in case something horrible happened to the land in the future. She uses it from time to time for light training when she's alone.
Being the best of the earthbenders in her family, Romi and her family were hunted down. Only Romi survived, as the family who killed hers liked her for her looks. The man she works for is a sleaze and has done unspeakable things, which broke the spirit of this earthbender. Still, one day, while at the marketplace, buying her masters food, she spots an event which gives her back a little bit of her spirit. At least, enough for her to leave the horrible man that is her master and make her own luck. She ends up disappearing and leaving her long kimono sleeves behind to show that she has resigned from her post.
As for her earthbending skils, while they are up to par, they won't get any better until she gains her spirit back completely. Will she gain back the spirit that she lost 6 years ago?
