She gives nicknames like crazy, too. However, Aurora goes by Rorie. She has since a young age due to the fact that her grandfather called her it and it eventually just stuck. She introduces herself as such, deeming her actual name “eh.”

Aurora is a girl of average height, standing at 5’5”. All the way around, she’s fairly average. That would be if you’re asking her, naturally. According to Rorie, her older siblings (which consists of one older brother and two older sisters) got all the looks and she received the “leftovers.” However, unlike most young women she isn’t consumed with having to look fantastic. She has a set of wide hips, sturdy thighs and a slim waist (not very small). Her figure isn’t exactly petite, but her sides do have gentle curves. Due to running regularly and trying her best to keep in shape, Ro has lean muscle, nowhere near show-offy bulk, though. Her shoulders are rounded and sprinkled with faint freckles, and her skin is naturally a light tan color, grazed with a scar here and there from being a rowdy child and a clumsy person in general. Rorie’s hair is pale, golden blonde in color and falls in loose curls/waves almost past the middle of her back. Said hair frames a face that holds many innocent-looking features. Her jawline is smoothly rounded, lips full and bow-shaped (however, her top lip is fairly smaller than her bottom, to her distaste). Her nose is a bit wide, having received that from her dad’s side of the family, and she has large, doe-eyes. Those eyes are a baby blue, almost to the point of grey. Actually, they are mistaken for grey a lot of the time. Surrounding her eyes are thick, long black eyelashes that cast shadows upon her cheekbones when she blinks.

Ro always tends to have a smile on her face, especially upon meeting new people. Her smile brightens her face, consisting of straight, white teeth (thanks to braces when she was younger). As for attire, she tends to dress for comfort rather than style. A good pair of jeans (even of the “skinny jean” variety, tee shirts, hoodies, big sweaters, just whatever she feels. However, when she must dress up she can do that, too, and can clean up well. Ask her to wear heels and you might as well have asked her to cut off her own hand. Heels, in her mind, were invented by the devil, and plus, she cannot walk in them to save her life.

Aurora, ever since a young age, has had a huge heart. She’s the type that if a lightening bug was flying around the house and her brother went to smash it, she’d go to shouting and save its life, scooping it up and letting it go outside. Yeah, she’s that girl. She hates seeing those weaker being picked on and becomes fiercely protective over whoever she deems needing protecting. She’s one for the “under-dog,” what can you say? She likes to help out in the community any way she can. May it be volunteering, starting up bake sales, or simply doing her job (which is at the local veterinary clinic). She’s the girl that if she happened to walk in somewhere and see an elderly person sitting alone, she’d most likely walk over and fire up a conversation. Ro hates seeing anyone upset, and tears are practically her kryptonite. If someone is upset, she immediately tries cheering them up; may it be a corny joke or an outrageous story of her clumsy experiences. She’s a goofball, and also a hopeless romantic. Rorie has that air about her that seems to just draw people in. According to her father, “Aurora never meets a stranger.” She can talk to just about anyone like she’s known them all her life. Usually, she’s the one people come to when needing to talk or a shoulder to cry on. She’s a good listener and generally cares about people, even those she just met.

Although Rorie is kind, she is also very, very stubborn. She detests being told what to do. As a young child, this got her into a lot of trouble. Honestly, it still does to this day. She wants to do things how she wants to do them- she wants to figure it out on her own. Aurora Daniels, well, she puts a whole new definition on the term “pig-headedness.” You tell her to do it one way and she’ll do it a completely different way just because she can. In her opinion, if it gets done, it gets done. Why does it matter how it gets done? She tends to push ones’ buttons just to see how far she can get with something, and then once they snap act offended and hurt. It’s just her, though. She stands firm with the things she puts her mind to, and is steadfast in her beliefs. Try to tell her otherwise, and, well, be prepared for a storm known as Rorie.

Aurora is also honest. She was raised to be this way, and it is how she is. If you don’t ask, she won’t tell, but if you do get ready for the truth. Now, she’s not brutally honest to the point of hurt feelings. She’d never hurt someone intentionally. She’ll find the nicest way to put something, and then say it in a gentle tone to where she doesn’t step on any toes. She likes seeing others happy, after all. It’s just, she’d rather be told something straight out then be fed a lie. Due to this, she is honest and hopes to receive the truth in return.

Along with her stubborn side, Ro also has quite the curious side. It got her in quite the trouble as a young child, too. When she was little she was full of questions. She’d want to know everything she could. If there was a door that said “Do Not Enter,” you best believe she’d be entering that door once the coast was clear (she would do that at the age she is now, too). She likes to explore and do different things. Yes, you could say she’s an adrenaline junkie. When she isn’t at work or studying for exams she’ll be having at college, she is out walking through the woods behind her house. She’s done this ever since a young age. Though they don’t change, and she probably knows them like the back of her hand by now, Rorie always finds something new in the woods to perk her interest.

Maybe it’s because she was kept on such a tight leash as a child, but Aurora is a very feisty girl in general. Once shy and meek, she is now outgoing and friendly. She likes having and good time and laughing. Her father, when describing her, uses the term “free spirit.” She is not someone for another person to tame or possess. She’s her own person, moving to the beat of her own drum. And, to be frank, she doesn’t plan on changing for anyone.

Aurora Cheyenne Daniels has lived in Woodbury, South Carolina all her blasted life. Until she was nineteen she lived on the same street, in the same house. You could say growing up she had a fairly normal life. She’s the youngest out of four siblings, and therefore is, is seen as, and is treated like “the baby.” Her father is the pastor at a local Baptist church. He’s the firm hand that kept the family together. He also kept Rorie in line and in church every Sunday and Wednesday. Yeah, she even sings in the choir and helps teach a Sunday school class now. Her mother is, and has been since Aurora was little, a surgical nurse. She works at the local hospital and is the nurse to one of the best surgeons there.

Growing up, Ro spent most of her time at her grandparents. Her mother and father were usually busy and her older siblings, well, they done their own thing. Her grandmother owned a small flower shop, still does, and her grandfather worked for the only lawyer’s office in Woodbury. Rorie was a big grandpa’s girl. She shadowed him practically everywhere he went and clung to his side. He taught her a lot. At the age of nineteen he passed away from a brain tumor, leaving Aurora lost, heartbroken and angry. For a while she drifted from church, but it didn’t last long. It really affected her grandmother as well, to the point Rorie moved in with her. And that’s where she is today, taking care of her grandma.

Due to taking care of her grandmother, Rorie didn’t go away to college. Instead, she began going to the local, small college. She’s going to be a veterinarian, and, by some luck, she got a job at the local veterinary clinic as an assistant while she’s working her way through school. She’s there most of the time. If she’s not there, she’s helping her grandma at her flower shop or volunteering. She doesn’t have much time for anything else. You could say her life is fairly simple and not much happens. Of course, it’s all bound to change.

Luke sat in his office grumbling to himself, looking over paper work that needed to be finished and a list of preparation's for the full moon claiming in three day's. Shit he still needs to find a mortal too. A light growl slipped past his throat as he glared at all the work on his desk. He's be at this for almost a week now with very little sleep, so to say his mood was grumpy is an understatement for there were no words to describe how he felt. Sighing deeply he stood from his desk and stretched his stiff legs. He would give the few of the preparations that need to be made to Dove and Dean can sign some of the paper work, he has afterall helped before and pretty much has Luke's signature down pat. Luke walked out of his office and instantly bumped into a worried looking packmate.

"Excuse me Alpha sorry to interrupt I was just coming to give you some lunch, we've all kinda been worried about you since you've been trapped in your office for nearly a week...." the older woman, Mrs.June, stated kindly while holding out a plate with a sandwich, chips and drink. Luke smiled at the kind older woman.

"Thank you Mrs.June but I'm not hungry I'm actually going to go for a run so could you go find Dove and Beta Dean and inform them that I want Dove to finish the preparation's for the full moon and Beta Dean to sign some paper's on my desk." Luke said kindly. He didn't like when his pack worried about him, it was unneeded but just reminded him how they cared for him. It usually softened his usual hard exterior and lightened his mood a bit. Mrs.June nodded and gave him a smile before walking away. Luke walked down the stair's and to the back door. Once the cool autumn day air hit his senses he felt better then he had in days. He walked into the thick tree's and quickly undressed before shifting into his wolf form. He grabbed his clothes in his jaws then shot off. Luke didn't know how long he ran for until he stopped at the scent of human. He quickly shifted back into human form and put his clothes on before peering around a tree to see a young red haired female human. Luke was about to turn and leave when he realized he needed a human for the claiming and what better human then an un-expecting human all alone in the woods. Okay its sounds a bit creepy but still what other choice does he have really. Sighing Luke acted fast, running swiftly towards the girl, pinching a nerve in her neck that made her go unconscious then caught her before she fell. Every werewolf was taught how to do this. He then lifted her small body over his shoulder and started walking back to the Pack House. Once he reached the house Luke went up the stairs and dumped the girl on the guest room bed opposite of his room and closed the door, locking it from the outside. The room was on the third floor of the house so unless the girl was stupid she wouldn't ever consider jumping out the window, which anyway were sealed shut. Mission accomplished. Luke then left, went back downstairs to search for something to eat.

It was like any other day at work. Go to the locker room, put away you stuff, fix your tie, and put your lab coat. Then you had to go to your floor, get the daily report, see if there were any changes in the patients, and finally check up on each patient. This was his daily routine, yes it was tiring, but he wouldn't change it for anything. He actually liked the hectic pace of things, and nothing compared to getting someone who has been feeling, at one point simply awful, to feeling better than they ever felt before. For someone who could easily break someone in half, he loved caring and tending to people.

Dean was just checking up on a patient's medical history when he saw Mrs. Daniels walking out of one of the operating rooms. "Working hard, or hardly working?" he said over the paper work he was flipping through on his clipboard smiling broadly. She was his favorite nurse, she knew how to fill out the correct forms, a tedious task doctors hated, and was always on time for everything."Oh you know me, always working, always on the move," she replied. She turned around then heading to one of the supply closets when she suddenly turned around, "my daughter is going to be swinging by later, you know, Aurora? If you see her just let her know I'll be in surgery basically all day." "Sure thing," he replied quickly heading back to his floor.

As he was heading back to his floor he saw a blonde head, weaving through the throng of visitors and staff members. He knew exactly who's head that belonged to, Aurora. It wasn't just the familiar sight of the top of her head, he was quite tall and that was normally his view of everyone, but it was also her scent. It was a sweet floral feminine scent, it was very... pleasant. She smiles at a few people as she made her way through the crowd saying hi to a couple of the staff she had become familiar with thanks to her mother. That's when she saw him and waved slightly, naturally he waved back smiling crookedly. That was how it went between them too. A simply wave hello, sometimes a "how are you today?" or "have you seen my mother?" It was becoming just as routine as his beginning shift routine.

Lucian had been reminding him constantly that he had to pick a human to 'claim'. Truthfully he hated the idea; he didn't want to claim anybody. He didn't want the responsibility of another person, not when he already had all his patients and pack members to take care of already. Plus he didn't want to rip someone unknowingly from their lives. It just seemed inhumane, but tradition was tradition, and Dean didn't want to push or question anything. He's been thinking for awhile on who to claim. He was thinking about one of his patients who had no family, that way they wouldn't have anyone to question their sudden disappearance, but then again he didn't want to be responsible for that particular person. Dean knew who he wanted to claim now though, he was looking at the back of her head now.

Aurora was walking down to hall to drop off her mother's lunch at the reception desk as she normally has for the past couple of weeks. During that time, Dean has come to know she is a very sweet girl who is always quick to smile. From his observations and from what her mother had boasted about her, she was an easygoing, caring individual with nothing but kindness in her heart. That was the type of person he wanted to claim. How much troupe could she cause for him anyway?

He had about 3 minutes to execute his plan. It was already set in motion, he had the sedative in his pocket and she was already making her way back down the hall. Dean was in an empty linen closet and was waiting for her to pass by. The hallway had cleared up significantly so no one was there to watch. Just as she was making her way past the door, he reached out grabbing her by the arm and injected the fluid into her neck. Slowly she began to crumple to the floor, grasping at whatever there was, which was Dean. "I'm so sorry," he murmured softly to her, stroking her head gently. She was out cold. Now he had about an hour before the drug wore off.

Placing her on the stretcher and throwing a blanket over her, she appeared the normal patient. He strolled out easily from the hospital, having already punched out for the day, and made his way to his car. Placing her gently across the back row of seat, he sat in the drivers seat, started the car, and pulled away.

On his way back to the pack house he got a call from Mrs. June, "Luke wants you to sign some paperwork." "Of course he does," he said laughing, "I'll be home soon, and hung up. Arriving home, he grabbed Aurora from the back seat and tucked her head against his shoulder. Making it up the stairs quickly he placed her in the room adjacent to his. Covering her with a blanket, he left and went to Luke's office where he sat at the desk and began to sign the papers in front of him. He had a feeling that his day was just beginning, rather than ending at this time as usual.

Rorie Daniels

All day Rorie had been running around like a chicken with her head cut off. At the veterinary clinic she worked at it had been slammed since it opened at nine that morning. Three surgeries, including one emergency surgery, four check-ups, and a few walk-ins. Not to mention, a small dog came in that had been shot in the hip when it crossed onto an elderly man’s property (supposedly, the man had warned the owner not to let the dog on his property and he did anyway). It wasn’t a big bullet, but big enough that it caused the dog to lose a lot of blood. When the owner burst through the doors shouting that he needed help, Ro immediately made a dash towards him, having scooped the dog up and ran towards the back, towards the actual vet. All the while she had the dog cradled in one arm, trying to shake her jacket off with the other to press into the wound to stop the bleeding. When crazy situations like that happened, she immediately acted without much thought.

Nonetheless, everything ended with Rorie having a bloodied jacket, but the dog was alive, one bullet removed and a stitched up hip later. “What a hero!” Amanda, the girl who helped Ro work the front desk, teased as Aurora grabbed her things. Work was over for her and she still had to grab her mother up something for lunch and take it to her. Aurora broke into a dimpled grin, giving a goofy curtsy/bow as she backed up towards the door. ”All in a day’s work, citizen.” she joked back as she pushed open the door. ”See you tomorrow, Mandy Pandy.” Ro then added in a sing song voice, disappearing outside as Amanda shouted “Tomorrow, babes!” after her.

After having stopped at the local diner to pick up the to-go order that seemed to be always waiting on her every other day to grab up for her mother, Rorie crossed the street to the bakery. She figured if her mother was having a rough day like herself, she most definitely deserved a pastry of some sort. Once all that was grabbed, Aurora made her trek down the street towards the hospital; the only one around until you made it to the next town, grant you. Since Woodbury was so small, Ro usually opted to walk everywhere. It was convenient, to say the least. Plus, the fall season always seemed to make Rorie extremely happy. She loved the feel of cool autumn air on her skin, though without her jacket it was a little nippily, and adored the colors the leaves turned. It was, in her opinion, quite breathtaking.

When Aurora made it to the hospital she paused once she walked through the sliding doors, holding the box of pastries with the brown, paper bag that held her mother’s sandwich wrapped in it on top of said box in her hands. Her crystalline, blue eyes tripled in size when she noticed all the people milling around. It was hardly ever this busy. Taking a deep breath, Rorie smiled and started making her way towards the elevator, going to the third floor which was the one her mother usually worked on. That floor was no different, it was just as busy. As she weaved her way through the people who passed by in rushed huffs Ro simply smiled. When she scooted past a couple nurses she knew she nodded in their direction, “Hello, Mrs. Hamby,” she murmured to one, and a “Good evening, Mrs. Rogers,” to the other as she grinned, receiving “Hello, Ms. Daniels” in return.

It wasn’t hard to spot Dr. Murray down the hall. He was tall- really tall. Not to mention quite attractive, though she tried not to pay attention when it came to that. Actually, every time she saw him now she thought of the conversation she and Amanda had had one day during their lunch break. He was brought up when Rorie was trying to defend herself. . .

”Rorie, you need to date. You need to get yourself out there.” Amanda scolded her. It was a usual thing. Amanda would gripe that Aurora was never going to date, never going to meet someone, which would lead to her going to be a crazy cat lady for the rest of her life. Because, according to her, Balto, Rorie’s cat, was only the beginning. Ro narrowed her eyes teasingly at her friend.

”I’ll meet someone when the time is right.” she shot back, her every day response when her friend decided to go on a tangent. Amanda rolled her eyes towards the ceiling at this, expecting it.

“Not if you never even talk to guys unless it’s work or volunteer related.”

”Hey! I talk to Pip!”

Amanda then snorted a laugh, shaking her head. “That doesn’t count and you know it.” She replied with a smirk, poking at her salad that sat in front of her. Rorie frowned, biting her bottom lip as she thought.

”I talk to Dr. Murray sometimes at the hospital!” she then mused with the snap of her fingers, grinning as if she had won some unannounced victory. Amanda raised both her eyebrows, twirling a piece of brunette colored hair between her pointer and middle finger.

“Dr. Murray? Who’s Dr. Murray? Oh, and it also doesn’t count if the guy is old enough to be your father.” Amanda said with a sly grin, green eyes dancing with amusement. Rorie shot her a look as if to say “very funny.”

”He’s a younger guy I met at the hospital, mom introduced us.” she explained, already seeing where this was going. ”Anyway, this salad is amazing. Isn’t it?” she said cheerily, in a quick attempt to change the subject, shoving a bite of salad in her mouth.

“Wait, wait, wait a second. Is he hot?” Amanda asked, grinning coyly. Rorie simply shrugged her shoulders as she chewed and swallowed. “Is he “give me a sleazy motel room and two hours to get it out of my system” hot, or “hold my hand and let me take you to meet my family for Christmas dinner” hot?” she questioned, only to smile wickedly when Rorie’s face shot red and she looked at her with wide eyes.

”He’s-“

Amanda laughed, “So he’s both, huh?”

The conversation always played in the back of her mind, making it hard not to think “sleazy motel rooms” or “Christmas dinners” when he was around. So, she done what she always done, shot him a dimpled smile and wave, swiftly making her way past him, down the hall to the reception desk.

”Just here to drop this off for my mom, Tonya.” Rorie chirped to the receptionist as she made it to the desk, setting the food down. Tonya smiled.

“Like always, Ms. Daniels. Such a sweetie,” the elderly lady replied, causing Ro to cast her eyes downward shyly, something she always done when she received a compliment.

”Why thanks,” she said softly, gaze flickering back up. ”There’s extra pastries in there for everyone else. Better grab you one.” she then added, followed by a soft laugh as she turned around after giving a “you’re welcome” to Tonya’s smile and appreciative “thank you.” Slowly, Rorie made her way back down the hallway she came from, eyes scanning around for Dr. Murray. She figured she would tell him about the pastries, just in case he might want one before they all got snagged up. However, to her dismay, he had disappeared. Fast.

She didn’t think about it much as she pasted an old linen closet, surprised at how quick the halls had cleared out, as if everyone had simply vanished when her arm was grasped firmly, a gasp slipping past her partially opened lips. She didn’t have much time to react when a sharp pain pricked the skin of her neck, feeling like that of a bee sting. She grasped at whatever she could to keep her upright, feeling her legs give in under her weight. Though, that wasn’t before she grabbed hold of a firm arm weakly, head rolling back as she groaned. The last thing she remember was a hushed “sorry” being murmured and a large hand being ran across her hair.

Aurora’s thoughts were hazy as she stirred, a soft groan passing her lips. Her neck was so sore and her head throbbed with the promise of an oncoming headache. She kept her eyes shut momentarily, trying to gather her thoughts. What happened? All she remembered was dropping her mom’s lunch off. . . Surely she made it home? When Ro’s blue eyes flickered open panic immediately settled into the pit of her stomach. She sat up swiftly, too fast, causing her head to swim as she cradled it with both her hands. Where was she!? What happened? Reaching down with one hand, she grasped at the soft blanket her body had been covered with. Wrenching it away, she sighed with relief when she noticed her clothes were still intact. Where am I? she thought, swinging her legs off the bed.

Feet touching the cool hardwood floor, Ro flinched, keeping one hand on her head, as if to hold it together. This was, most definitely, no one’s house she knew. I’ve been Rorie-napped. she thought, panic seizing her by the throat as she stood quickly, making her way towards the door. She grabbed the doorknob, shaking it roughly. Locked. Of course it was locked. She then frantically felt her pockets. Cellphone gone, naturally. This was bad. This was really bad. Aurora’s chest started heaving as she knitted both her hands into her hair, moving towards the window. What am I going to do?? she thought, trying to be quiet. She had watched enough murder-mystery movies to know not to make a lot of noise to get your “killer's" attention. However, ragged sobs shook Ro’s slim frame when she peered out the window, noticing it was too high to jump.

Now. Now it was time to panic.

What the hell is this for anyway, Dean thought as he finished signing the last of the papers on the desk. Shaking his head in defeat, he gathered all the documents and placed them neatly in one of the filing drawers. Honestly, if it wasn't for him, Lucian's paperwork would be a mess. Just as he was closing the drawer he heard someone yelling "get out". Good, the boy is awake and conscious, he thought sighing in relief. When Lucian put him out he thought it was rather harshly. He was concerned for the welfare of all the humans to come; after all they were getting torn out of their everyday lives. He made a mental note to go in later and check up on Dove and... Pip was it? Well he'd look in on them after he checked up on-- shit, Aurora.

Looking down at his watch he realized it had been more than an hour since the drug had taken affect. Shit, shit, shit, shit. Scrambling out of the office he went down the stairs to the kitchen to make a quick late lunch, early dinner? Whatever, he just needed to get her something. He had prepared a bowl of instant microwavable macaroni, and a turkey sandwich. Damn, they really needed to go shopping soon.

Making his way back up the stairs briskly, he walked down the hall trying not to make a sound in fear of stirring her, just in case she wasn't awake quite yet, if not she would be very soon. But as he approached her room, he heard stirring. Hanging his head back and closing his eyes, he cursed himself. He had wanted to be in the room with her when she did wake up, just in case she was going to do something rash. Then he realized, What am I going to tell her when I walk in anyway? Hi, I had to kidnap you to make you part of our werewolf pack. Oh don't worry, it's perfectly safe, you'll just become a werewolf and have increased senses, no biggie. He had to tell her the truth of course, but how much of it should he tell her?

He was trying to think of what exactly to tell her when he heard her trying to open the window from within. Did I lock it? No longer caring about preparing a speech to give her, he walked in, tray in hand. The sigh before him was pitiful. There she was, standing by the window, arms enfolded around herself, and her large doe like eyes were as huge as saucers. He had done this to her, and he was going to hate himself forever because of it. Damn the claiming to hell.

Setting down the tray on a nearby bedside table he looked at her backing away several feet. He was at a loss for words. "Okay, so I know what you're thinking... actually I don't know what you're thinking, but whatever it is you have the wrong idea. Everything will be explained later." He motioned to the tray of food then, "I brought you something to eat. It would be wise if you tried to get some food in your stomach, lest you want to go hungry and get a headache from the lack of nutrients in your body." He was sounding more like a doctor now, this is going very smoothly. He shut up then waiting for a response, anything right now would soothe his mind.

Rorie Daniels

For a moment Rorie just stood at the window. She had finally let her hands fall from where they were knotted in her hair, wiggling the little latch on the window sill. She was up high. Possibly a third floor, if she was guessing. But maybe, just maybe, there would be a way to climb down. When the latch didn’t budge her breathing picked up once more. Big, heaving breaths as if she was about to hyperventilate. Wrapping her arms around herself, gripping at her sides, as if she was trying to hold herself together before she fell apart completely, she turned from the window, trembling lightly. Don’t freak out, think logically, Rorie, you can do this. she told herself, yet when the doorknob twisted and the sound of the door opening was heard, Ro’s eyes widened and she looked up, expecting the worst. After all, who would go abducting someone if they weren’t a huge, psychotic creep?

When Dr. Murray, or Dean, as he had told her to call him at the hospital, walked in Aurora’s breathing completely stopped, if only for a second. What? No. She stumbled back, tears pooling in her eyes. I knew something had to be wrong with this guy. she thought, feeling completely trapped and defenseless. Her blue eyes then fell on the tray he was carrying before flickering back to his face when he spoke. "Okay, so I know what you're thinking... actually I don't know what you're thinking, but whatever it is you have the wrong idea. Everything will be explained later." Oh do I, Mr. Psycho? Rorie’s lower lip trembled and she blinked back tears quickly, trying to fend them off before they escaped the imprisonment of her eyes. He couldn’t see her cry. He couldn’t.

As Dean talked about her needing to eat, Ro lifted shaking hands to her cheeks, swiping away stray tears that managed to make their way down them, though she tried her hardest not to let them; it felt like she needed to cry or she’d explode. Eat? Really?? What kind of kidnapper was he? For a moment Rorie just stared at him, ignoring his food comment, shaking, trying to process everything. She felt betrayed. Lied to. She thought Dean was a good guy- a nice guy. She actually enjoyed waving at him practically every day, as if that was some sort of life changing thing, and their small talk. Now this?

”Y-You’re going to m-make me into a s-skin suite, aren’t y-you?” she stuttered out between shaken breaths, taking another step back until she hit the cool, glass window, flinching, not expecting the contact. It was a silly thing to say at a time like this, but that was Aurora for you. She had watched too many scary movies with her brother in the past. ”What did I-I do to deserve this? P-Please don’t. . .” She took a deep breath, trying to calm down, but she couldn’t. ”Please d-don’t hurt me.” She finished in a rush, sniffling as she wiped at her face again. What a big, strong grown-up she was. Cowering and crying in front of the guy who kidnapped her or God knows what. Very fierce.

Aurora's eyes traveled around the room, looking for something to grab, something to defend herself, if he tried anything. She looked back at him, narrowing her eyes slightly. Her breathing had started picking up again, fear constricting her throat and chest- she noticed the room started to tip funny, spin. Oh. This wasn't good. Don't pass out, don't you dare pass out. she thought frantically, swallowing hard as she leaned back against the window for support. All the while she kept her ice blue eyes on Dean, looking like a deer caught in headlights. She still trembled and tears pooled back in her eyes, threatening to spill back over. "Please let me go home." she pleaded, the quick sentence coming out unbroken. She was rambling, begging. It might have seemed pathetic, but she was so afraid and confused. . .

For a while, Dean wasn't sure what to say anymore. So they just sort of... looked at each other for a while. Tears, he hated tears. What had made it worse was that he was the cause of it. This is working out absolutely perfectly, he thought sarcastically. Honestly, he wasn't sure what he was going to do at this point. He was sorely tempted to just drug her again, but then he thought that was extremely inhumane and would just make matters worse.

"A skin suit? Really? Darling, this isn't a horror movie," he said, his eyebrows furrowed. No but seriously, is that what's she thinking about me? If this wasn't a serious conversation and her emotions, which were severely distraught at the moment, weren't at risk, he would of laughed. Her first sentence was rather comical from an outside point of view, but when you were the one at the receiving end of that comment... well that was a different story, a very different story.

”'What did I-I do to deserve this? P-Please don’t. . .'” her words ate away at him like acid. Nothing dammit! You didn't do anything to deserve this. Hell you don't even 'deserve' this. He hated that word, 'deserve'. It felt dizzying in his mind. At this point he wished he was more uncaring and formidable. Well he was formidable, physically at least, but when it came to more sensitive matters, he disintegrated like paper to a flame, especially when he was faced by a doe eyed lass with tears in her eyes. He felt like an ass, hell he was an ass. Deciding to claim Aurora had been a bad idea.

Taking a step closer, he was about to explain to her what exactly her predicament was but at the small step, her eyes widened. He didn't even know they could become that wide and was rather baffled by it. Retreating once again, he looked back at her, pleading with his eyes, "please. I know you're absolutely terrified, but I mean you no harm. I just-" he paused, looking up, thinking for the right word, "I need you... Not in the creepy type of 'need' you but, a you're a special part of whats about to happen, need you," he finished quickly. "Now please, before you go off thinking ill of me, I'll have you know that everything will be answered, so don't fret. And you're not alone, trust me." He ran his fingers through his hair then, his words probably weren't having the calming effect he was trying to propel.

Defeated, he headed to the door, and then he looked back at her one last time, "And I would never hurt you. Ever," he swore vehemently. "You can count on that." And with that last promise, he left her room and went downstairs to the den room. There he paced the floor before the fireplace. Lucian better call that meeting between the other pack members and their humans quickly because he didn't know how much more of this he could take. The guilt was eating away at him. It'll get better once she adjusts, he told himself over and over again.

Rorie Daniels

Confusion seemed to be a permanent gaze in Aurora’s eyes as she watched Dean, trying to control her breathing that was spiraling out of control. She didn’t understand. None of it was making sense. He took her. He took her for some reason, yet there he stood. . Talking as if he was trying to soothe some wild animal. When he went to take a step towards her, her eyes widened once again and she pressed her back as close to the window as she could. It was weird how just the day before- well, just a few hours before, he was a completely different person in her eyes. Now? She didn’t even know what to think.

As he started talking again Rorie tilted her head slightly, brows furrowing at his words. The saddened look in his eyes also confused her. Why would he feel upset or guilty of something if this was his whole idea and scheme? When he spoke of needing her Ro’s eyes then narrowed. He was being vague when he explained, and she wanted answers. ”Now please, before you go off thinking ill of me, I'll have you know that everything will be answered, so don't fret. And you're not alone, trust me." Not alone? Aurora’s mind reeled and she slowly slid down the window to sit on the floor, placing a hand on her head. This was crazy. Just crazy. Were there others in the house stealing people like him? Were there other people who had been stolen like her?? So many questions bounced around her mind, along with when all her questions would be answered. Why couldn’t he just answer them? Let her go? He’s a part of some freaky cult. Ro thought lamely, lower lip trembling as she thought of everything that was possibly going to happen to her.

"And I would never hurt you. Ever," Her blue gaze flickered upward at this, watching Dean at the door. For some reason, there was a tiny part of Rorie that wanted to believe him. A tiny, stupid part that wouldn’t win over her logical thinking. She blinked back more tears as she looked back down at the floor, wiping away the last of the tears from her cheeks that had fell with her free hand. She felt foolish. Foolish and weak for crying in front of someone. When the sound of the door being shut was heard she exhaled a sigh of relief, glancing back up.

Her eyes travelled to the food setting on the bedside table, chewing her bottom lip as she thought. She gave herself a few minutes to calm down, taking deep breaths. Ro then stood, slowly tiptoeing over to the door. She was briefly worried about other people being in the house. Obviously, Dean didn’t live in a three story home by himself. She paused, hand on the doorknob. Maybe he worked for someone? Her mind went back to the whole “cult” thing and it caused a shudder to rip through her small frame. Either way, she needed to at least try and get away. The thought of going down without a fight plagued her. She had heard stories of people who were taken that had managed to escape. Then again, she also remembered the tragic stories of those who didn’t.

Ro closed her eyes, taking a deep breath before carefully twisting the doorknob. To her surprise, the door actually opened. She opened said door painfully slow, peering out into the hallway. From what she could tell. . . It was empty. Inching out, she made her way into the hall, tiptoeing and trying to make little to no noise. She knew nothing about this house. How big it truly was, where doors led.. Nothing. Rorie did know if he or someone else heard her, she would be at the biggest disadvantage ever. Her only hope was to find a door that lead outside before she was caught. Clumsiness, don't mess me up now. she thought, holding her breath as she moved towards the steps at the very end of the hall.

With the way Dean had been pacing the floor, he was going to wear out the soles of his shoes, not to mention the hard wood floor beneath him. A million questions of his own started to race in his mind. When are we having that damn meeting? Where are the others? How is this going to play out? Will she forgive me? Will I forgive myself? And so went the vicious cycle, repeating itself endlessly in his head. This wasn't as easy as Lucian said it was.

Sighing in defeat he took a seat of the sofa. Silently he looked into the fire, watching as the flames danced back and forth. The sound of the crackling from the charred logs brought a certain peace to his mind. The warmth radiating from the hearth was also soothing, lulling him into a calm state of mind, his usually state of mind. For a while, he sat there like this. Not thinking about anything, just clearing his mind. It was almost like a meditation, and he was falling into a trance. The silence was comforting him. When his mind wasn't racing and no body was there to bother him, it set him at ease... if only it would last for more than five minutes.

He heard the footsteps then. His immediate thought was to Aurora. About to get up, he looked at the entry way and saw Remmy. Oh it's just him. "What up, ass butt?" Relaxing back into his seat, he covered his face with his hands, massaged his temples, and groaned. "That is the most ridiculous insult, I don't understand why you insist on calling me that." Taking his hands off his face he looked at Remmy who was rummaging through the shelf. He wondered how he was fairing with his human. He was just about to ask when he noticed that the footsteps hadn't stopped. That can't be Aurora, I locked the-- no I didn't.

He grabbed Remmy by the shoulder then and dragged him in tow, "come," he said simply. Hopefully the boy had enough sense to not disobey his Beta. Following the sound of the falling footsteps they made their way through the endless halls. If she was trying to be sneaky, it wasn't working. The floorboards creaked and her light tred sounded like stomping to his hypersensitive hearing. They were approaching from behind when they saw her trying to make her way down the steps. Not wanting to have to face her again, he pushed Remmy in her direction with a look in his eyes meaning, "you deal with it." He didn't want her to hate him anymore than she already did.
