Personality
Chris doesn't need a lot of friends to get through life, a few good ones is all you need and he believes everyone else can get left in the wind. His carefree nature is the only thing that makes school life a hassle. Chris doesn't have a good reputation and is known to be troublemaker, he’s been trying to change but that’s part of who he is and it’s never going to leave him. He is a nice guy though, usually making way for other people or just helping out in anyway he can see fit.
Chris likes to stay in shape but isn't crazy about the whole thing, he goes everywhere on his bike even though he has his license.
All-in-all Chris is fun to hang with because he tends to always have something he wants to do, it mainly being something stupid and potentially dangerous that he can film. One thing he always carries with him is his camcorder he got for his tenth birthday. Ever since then he has had a love for movies and cinematography. If there’s something worth catching he’ll be there. He hangs at the skate park most of the time trying to get his BMX skills back and also filming others tricks.

History
Chris has never had it easy, there has always been hard work and determination. That is, right up until his parents split. Throughout elementary school his parents had started fighting day and night over the fact that his father couldn't ever hold a job. They finally got a divorce when he was in sixth grade. His mother moved out taking Chris with her. He would spend the weekday with her and would see his father on the weekends. This years that followed were a hard time for Chris, he started acting out and getting into trouble with everyone. He barely went to school when he hit eighth grade making summer school the only way for him to pass.
He passed ninth without a problem, finally settling into the life that he had, until one summer night when Chris and his mother were heading home from the movie theater when a drunk driver ran them off the road. He woke up in the hospital three days later with a broken leg and wrist and concussion. The car had been hit on the left side killing his mother instantly.
After the hospital Chris moved in with his dad moved to an apartment above a pool hall, which he owns as well. Things were hard for Chris at first, he started smoking pot,at one point selling it, and drinking. Nothing showed until junior year. He was caught smoking in the bathroom and after a long “talk” with his father things started to sort themselves out.
Chris has changed now, he’s set on graduating and going to college to pursue a career as a filmmaker.

Straight Shots, his fathers pool hall, had been strangely packed last night, mainly because it was in the middle of the week and things don't normally get busy till the weekend. Nonetheless it sure had Chris on his feet, not only did Chris have to make the food, luckily it was most chicken wings and pizza along with doing his regular job as a waiter, but Rudy, the bartender, couldn't make it to work because he had his in laws coming to visit and had to pick them up from the airport. His father, Mitchell, was helping the best he could by helping bar tend and clean tables but it still took a lot out of them.

By time they were closed and cleaned up it was already two in the morning. Mitch had told Chris to go to bed at closing time but he chose to stay and help out figuring it was better to just help out and get the night over with. However he did leave slightly before his father making his way behind the bar and out through the kitchen door. The door lead to a small dank alley with a flickering light “Need to fix that.” he mumbled unlocking the house door that was directly beside the kitchen’s. There was no way to mix the two up, the kitchen’s door was pure white with the STRAIGHT SHOTS in bold letters, underlined with a tilted pool cue that was cutting off the OTS in shots. The house door on the other hand was black with a thin rectangular window on the side.

Chris slid the key in, unlocking the door and pulled. Stepping inside you’re immediately greeted with a set of stairs. He let out a yawn as he climbed up the stairs, the door slammed shut giving him a slight jump.Turning down the hallway he made his way to his room, unclipping his name tag and throwing it on his dresser. With a stretch he looked at his clock 2:45 in blinking red letters lightly lit up the small room. He wanted to take a shower but pushed it aside, When I wake up. he thought to himself plopping on his bed.

Chris woke up and rolled to his side rubbing one eye and looking at his clock with another 6:50. After a large stretch and a prolonged yawn he finally rolled off his bed, out of his room, and into the bathroom across the hall. Fifteen minutes is all it takes for him to have a shower and get dressed. He doesn't dress to impress so he picked up a pair of jeans from a bucket of clothes he kept in his room and a grey tank top and unbuttoned plain blue button down shirt and slipping on his favorite pair of worn out shoes.

On his way out he picked up his backpack, throwing in his house keys and name tag. Pocketing his phone and heading to the kitchen he made himself some toast and grabbed a bottle of water from the fridge. He could hear his father snoring from down the hall and best to simply stay quiet, it had been a late night and he had to be up by twelve to open the pool hall.

Making sure his camcorder was in his backpack he headed out. He hid his bike, an orange and black BMX bike, further down the alley locked to a piped and hidden with an old blanket. He wrapped the blanket around the pipe, unlocked the lock and headed to school. He had his license but with the traffic he never felt the need for a car. Besides he found it more fun to ride his bike, there were more routes to take and you didn't have to abide by traffic rules. Most of his ride consisted of back alleys and parking lots, an occasional stop at a Seven Eleven or Family Dollar to pick something up if he was hungry. This ride was uninterrupted though, he didn't feel like like stopping anywhere so he kept focus on heading to school.

〷〷〷〷

It was around 7:30 when he finally got to school, another great thing about riding a bike, you don’t have to worry about parking spots. Skidding to a halt he hopped off his bike and locked up his bike. Chris put a hand through his hair messing it up, still damp from the shower.

Once inside he took out his schedule realizing he hadn't even looked it over. He noticed a couple of people from past classes but didn't bother talking. Chris wasn't much of a morning person and noisy lobby was giving him a headache. History first period Great. he thought and made his way to class.

Chris had rounded two flights of stairs and breezed by three different hallways and couldn’t wondering why the hell he signed up for an extra history class and of course the answer always being “because you flunked it last year and need the credits to graduate.” The last couple of years have been rough on him and the sudden decision to change his life was still something he was trudging thru.

He rounded the last corner just as the bell rang, the teacher was always late if he was remembering correctly so he figured he still had a good enough chance to getting there on time. With the door in sight, he also seen the teacher. He altered his walk so when they got to the door he would slide past him and into a seat without getting called out. It worked too, luckily for him some girl he didn’t recognize caught the teachers glare giving him an extra second to pass his back and sit behind James. Chris recognized him from other classes they had together but other than talking a couple of times, they never really hung out.Surveying the room he noticed a couple familiar faces, Eren and Rhapsody and nodded a “Hello.” He didn’t know anyone else in class, or at least didn’t recognize anyone else in class.

At the end of class he grabbed his things and walked to Eren and Rhapsody just as the girl that unknowingly helped him slip into class did “How’s it going Eren?” he asked “Same to you Raps.”
