Introduction
Earth is destroyed, by many different things. Nuclear warfare, fallout, overpopulation, pollution, the list goes on. EDEN is one of many, many ships built for intergalactic travel. They used these ships, such as EDEN to leave Earth and head towards other planets confirmed to be colonizable by humans. The plan was, once base was set up, to unload equipment and not only colonize these many planets, but establish a connection with each other.
This went horribly wrong, due to miscalculations 3 ships ran out of fuel, 2 were destroyed in asteroid belts, many more flew off course, and EDEN... EDEN made it to it's solar system. It was to land on a moon named Europa II. Europa II is an earth-like moon, a T-3 terrestrial body. Europa II got it's name from Europa, a moon orbiting Jupiter, that could have contained life in the past. Europa II also orbits a gas-giant, but there's no question about life not being on Europa II... There is definitely life. It's as luscious, if not more, than earth, and definitely has many alien species, both plant and animal alike. Europa II also contains slightly more oxygen due to having much more vegetation, however it is balanced out because the moon has large deserts also, therefor the atmosphere is perfect density, and balanced, perfect for humans.
Again, EDEN was planned to land on Europa II, but it came to close to the moon to fast, the gravity of the gas giant and the moon started bending, then ripping the ship apart. Some of the ship stayed in orbit, most fell in pieces into Europa II. Many passengers died in the vacuum of space, some died from falling through the atmosphere, some died from hitting the planet. But an unknown number of passengers survived. EDEN was designed to carry around 800 humans, along with supplies and machinery. At MOST it would have been possible for 30 to survive... But it's unlikely. More than likely, less survived. But they survived.

Activated by the emergency Omega 3 turned online and immediately loaded up with medical supplies. On his way to the drone escape pods he found some humans (mainly children) and took them with him. Once He got them all in the pods, along with some of the robots and drones under his command (as he is one of the commanding robots on the ship) he loaded food for the humans he is taking as the drone pods weren't loaded with food and got in. His last site through the pod doors was the drones that hadn't been able to fit in the pods. As soon as the door was shut and the pod was getting ready to leave he hooked up to the pod's systems and checked on the status of Eden. Seeing the number of full pods and the number of people and drones still not in their pods Omega was filled with sadness. He instantly knew most of the people here would die in the crash. Detecting some pods with only half the limit. He used a remote access to keep those pod doors open until they were full. Then, knowing he did all that he ordered the 3 small children in the pod with him to get in his cockpit. Just barely fitting them and enough food and water to last them 2 days, he went into lockdown mode and waited for the pod to launch and for the impact.
Explosives were planted around the cargo bay and set to explode after the ship safely entered the atmosphere. Sya could not risk setting them off any sooner due to the cargo bay's proximity to the engine. With the element of surprise on his side, there was a higher chance of winning this battle.
Sya woke up, something was wrong, the ship was tilting too much for atmospheric entry and it was too early for landing. The interface notified him that the ship was ordering an emergency evacuation and the loading bay door was opening. The traitors were planning to enter the atmosphere on their own! He had to think of a course of action quickly, a chance like this wont ever show up again. Sya could set off the explosives now, but the escape pods have not launched yet and the risk of blowing up the engines were too high. Calming himself down, he decided to wait and remain cool , otherwise they will detect his rising body temperature.
The sensors were picking up a lot of activity on the loading bay, the mechs were nearly prepared to launch. His finger hovering over the detonate button on the display.
The mechs were leaving the ship one by one with a supply crate in each arm. He needed to act now. Some pods were beginning to leave. He really needs to act now.
He pressed the button. A split second of silence later the loading bay blew up.
It had taken a few minutes, but eventually Forevermore made it to the Medical Center. She looked around and noticed that there was a door to a back room. She ran to it, but it was locked. A computer with a running terminal program was beside the door. She contacted Ace.
"Ace. The Med-Lab is locked with a password.
"The password should be... '0x0000003E'. It's an easy password, used just to keep the common folk out."
She nodded and closed the call, then entered the password. After two beeps and a green light, the door slid open. She entered the room and started opening crates and throwing things into her duffle bag. Duct tape, scalpels, surgical tubing, leather belts, two small food sanitizers, a few medical supply kits/first aid kits, some blood packs, more surgical tubing, saline bags, and a bag of yellow fluid that looked similar to saline. She also grabbed some different containers with pills in them, and some painkillers in both pill and some vial hypodermic needle. She looked around frantically. They didn't have time to inspect every little thing, so instead she just shoveled things into the bag. Then she saw it. A metal crate with three very simple words printed across it. 'Stimulation Delivery Packages.'
"Yes! Stimpaks!" She said, then opened the crate and threw as many Stimpaks of all kind into her duffle bag. Eventually she had to stop, and she slung the bag over her shoulder. She stopped to think. Was there anything else she was forgetting?
No. She couldn't think of anything. She started to leave the Medical Center.
Ace Grant
Ace had made it to the armory where he started loading random bullets, and random boxes of ammo, into his backpack. He loaded tons of energy cells, as they were valuable, many robots and weapons used them as energy sources. The things were the size of three AA batteries, and he loaded about six pounds of them into his duffle bag. He grabbed some other energy weapon ammo, a few grenades, then went on to the supply room. The supply room had things a soldier would need on the field. The main reason he went there was to grab as many MRE's as he could, grab a few lighters, and a gallon of gasoline. His duffle bag weighed a lot now, and he figured now was as good a time as any to make his way back to their pod. It took him about five minutes. The second his pod door closed, he sighed.
"What a relief to be back to relative safety and away from the noise of the alar-" Suddenly the whole ship lurched sideways, a deep groan-ish creak of metal bending on metal could be heard. He froze. It was the type of freeze you'd get when you were scared. It was an oh shit moment. He tried to contact Forevermore, but there was no connection. The only thing he could do was lay in his pod bed, strap himself in, and wait.
Forevermore Maria
Forevermore had been running along the corridors when the whole ship lurched sideways. She was thrown against the wall, and fell to the ground. Suddenly, she felt lighter. Much lighter...
Weightless.
"Oh shit." She said as she felt the effects of antigravity kick in. The ships on board gravity generator obviously had either been shut off, broken or had a problem. Then, something worse happened. A loud, high pitched creak and a deep, low pitched groan was heard all over the ship as the metal bent and twisted. Forevermore was no expert on space and planets and all, but she did know one thing. Orbiting Europa II had eventually put them in a position where they were in between both Europa II and the planet it orbited. Being in orbit of Europa II meant they were in its Roche Limit. This was normally fine, as she ship was strong enough for it to not be a problem... But when they came in between the two they hadn't anticipated the planet's larger and stronger gravitational field and more violent Roche Limit. As a result, Europa II and it's planet were playing a game of cosmic tug of war with EDEN.
Suddenly, the bulletproof glass windows of the hallways cracked. Air started leaking out of the ship. Then, boom. Thud, thunk, boom. windows were completely blown out as their metal frames bent and twisted. The vacuum of space started sucking at anything and everything. She was safe in her suit, but it would only last for so long. She grabbed onto the wall and hurled herself forward, until she finally reached her pod. She opened the door as fast as she could, then closed it.
"Finally! You took forever!"
Forevermore did nothing but simply nod, throw her duffle bag and backpack onto her bed, enter the door's lock code, and emergency launch code, strap herself in the bed and wait.
17... 16... 15... 14... 13... 12... 10... 9... 8... 7... 6... 5... 4... 3... 2... 1-
Boom, the escape pod detached from the ship and shot towards Europa II at high speeds.
A radio signal was send to him:“Pod SF-245, this is the commander. What the hell just happened? Is everything alright?”Thylan smirked softly, thinking before answering.「 Commander, this is Thylan. The crew members where in deep scare and one of them took the bullet. However, he didn’t know that he had his explosive bullets. Luckily, I took the initiative and secured the supply. Although, the pod didn’t receive any derivation to its course, so everything will be fine. 」There was a small silence before the commander answered back to him.“Good work soldier. We will give you further information when we hit the surface of Europa.”「 Roger that. 」and he waited for the impact, hoping that his suit will have enough duration for keeping in this mode, and monitoring Xi-14 for any problems.
It was fun.
At that moment, she was helping a child getting into the pod. Making sure that everyone was on board of one of them, she saw the door closing in front of her, and the face of the kid in worry. She offered a small smile before the pod was launched into space, and the child couldn’t see her anymore. Her combat suit formed around her as she levitated outside of the wrecked ship, and give herself a good boost. She had to synchronise the landing with most of the pods. Once the maneuver were done, she turned into an hibernation mode, letting her body crash into the planet, unsure of what she will do next.
From his cave the great Dragon walked, and he looked around as his wings stretched out to their full span, and his tail flopped around absentmindedly behind him. It would be a while before he was capable of flight again, but for now, he was hungry. He went from the cave and towards the crash site of the EDEN star ship. Before he got to it, he reached the great plains that were on the western side of his mountain. He noticed a large heard of deer-like creatures, and he started to run with great speed towards them. Before the deer-like creatures knew what hit them, he had already captured a few within his maw and was in the process of swallowing them whole.
He needed more food, and he looked around, his wings again stretching out, feeling the wind hitting his wings was refreshing. His wings flapped gently, the muscles still not fully awake, and still not capable of hauling him into the air for flight. The last he remembered, there were mammoth-like creatures he used to prey upon, but they must have migrated to the other side of the planet to find food of their own.
He then continued a stroll around the entire mountain, marking it as his territory by slashing the trees with his claws, digging trenches in the grass, and leaving his great foot prints in the ground, along with leaving his scent over other things like rocks by rubbing against them.
It wasn't long before he smelt something that he had never smelled before. He didn't know what it was, and he knew just about everything about this planet, after all, he practically ruled over the fertile and untouched lands with a calm rule, and the occasional thunder storm if he was angry. The animals acknowledged his authority over them, and acknowledged his power as well.
But would the humans do the same? What was their purpose here? What even were they? What did they look like? How did they behave with each other and with other animals? So many questions, and they only way to answer them was to observe the bipedal creatures and their technology.
Birds flew over head, and the Dragon flapped his wings hard, knocking over a few trees nearby with the gusts of wind coming from him. Soon he flew up, and he marked his return with a loud roar, which echoed across the lands with a deep rumble, similar to thunder.
Temperatures were increasing drastically, but the Black Titan did not need to enter formation. Sya proceeded to destroy the boosters that were stabilizing their descent and the mechs burned up in the atmosphere of the moon.
As he had feared, the engines exploded and Sya was forced to move away from his position on the ship and begin his own descent. A few mechs manage to survive, he will have to deal with them later.
He noticed a few pods also performing atmospheric entry. Something was wrong, they were entering at dangerous angles. He quickly flew towards them and grabbed to correct one of them. The sensors identified the occupants to be Forevermore Maria and Ace Grant. The names did not strike him to be important an he moved on to save as many pods as he could.
The Black Titan could fly only so fast and the remainder of the pods were lost. He maneuvered to the landing site of the leftover mechs to initiate the final battle.
That something which destroyed those mechs got them right after they landed while their systems were cooling down and the metal armor was weakened. There was nothing powerful enough in this system to defeat the mechs at full power. Nonetheless he had to thank the thing for defeating those traitors for him.
The creature was still here watching him through the steam, it was sizing up the prey. Sya was not afraid, the sensors picked it up as a dragon, a fairly young one too, only a few thousand years old, he had seen worse. The nanospores had already entered the dragon, however it was not possible to detonate them this time no matter how much they breed because they weren't as supercharged as before, this was only for tracking purposes.
Sya relaxed, no matter how much it attacks the Titan, it could not penetrate the powerful armor. He hoped it would use its powers on him because his nanospores needed a charge. Either way it was no threat and he went to sleep again, knowing that the task at hand was completed and he was incredibly tired: his entire body ached from the rough entry, his eyes were bloodshot from staying open for so long because a blink would've been disastrous in the battle, and his mind was jumbled.
All the traitors were dead. What does he do now? He entered deep sleep...

He jumped out of the pod, seeing there was something near him. He took precautions, resting his hand on the hilt of his sword, but when he realised it was Omega 3, he let a small sigh in relief. 「 Good to see you, Omega 3. I hope more people or robots got through the crash. 」He said to him, not sure what to expect from the robot. From one of the supply crates, he pulled out a small device. It created some kind of dome of a radius of 10 m. The device is used to have a 3D model of the area of the dome, and scans through it to warn hostile creatures in it. For the moment, he didn’t thought that the creatures around would be a problem, and to his armor got away.
Taking some initiative, he started to build a camp if anyone lands near him. He those a small crate marked M8V§48R¶, knowing that the thing inside would be much help. One of the other crate, which it wasn’t marked, was tossed out of the pod. With the help of his sword, he cut through the crate, which opened on a series of boxes. He knew that they were locked via a digital system, and they changed the password each minute. Although, there was a way to get through the system, which was known by the original creator; his dad. Thylan took out one of the smaller box, opening the box with the help of his hacking via his eyes patch, and it opened on a set of capsule.
These were a project which his dad worked on; he was able to catch space and time and trap it into those capsule. Although, only one remained, which was exactly what he needed. He tossed it across the clear field, and a small house popped out of the capsule. It was a temporary residence; it was able to protect from most of the things.
He looked back at Omega 3. 「 If you have anything to secure in the small house, I give you the permission. I’ll scout around to check for any other survivors outside the dome. I suggest you to try to connect to the small device. If it ask for a password, enter 4K7-5553x06. 」His armor got back on, running into the wilderness. He doesn’t know what is waiting for him, but he hoped that the monstrous roar isn’t going in his direction.
It was while he was flying that something landed on his back and then clung to him. It then spoke a language he didn't know very well, however he knew enough to hold a conversation. The female on his back asked him who he was, and after a few seconds of thought, he would answer. His voice would be deep, rumbling, powerful, yet gentle at the same time.
"I am Marfedelom Darastrix, a Storm Dragon. I was awakened by the coming of your people." He said to the female human that currently clung to his back.
She would notice that she didn't have to hold on very tightly, for the most she would feel would be the wind against her face, and the muscles under the skin contract and relax to flap his wings and to keep them level.
"Now that you know my name, janik si tor what your name is?" he asked. For a Dragon who had never encountered humans, he was well mannered. "And janik si tor where you are going now that you find doutan on this planet?"
The great wings of the Dragon would angle themselves slightly, and Marfedelom and the human female on his back would slowly loose altitude to one that made it easier for the human female to breathe smoothly. He would also slow down enough for him to be able to turn his great head and look at the human female that clung to him. A white eye with Draconian slit-like pupils took her features in, and the Human would be able to see her reflection in the watchful eyes of the Dragon.
"Also, what are you? I have never seen your kind before and do not know what to call you in terms of what you are." he added to his list of questions in a cautiously curious tone of voice before turning his head to look forward and fly lower to the ground as well as slower. He continued this slow decent until he could gently land on the ground and start walking down the fields of tall grass, his wings coming to his sides by instinct, and as an added bonus, added a wall so the human female didn't roll of his side. His tail twitched and coiled in the air behind him as he walked.

Letting out a deep sigh, he realized the nanospores were breeding all over the place now that they have a new, larger container: the moon. Given them enough years and the right energy output, he could cause explosions anywhere he wanted. This pissed him off even more, because it was not what he planned, the dammed dragon extracted the nanospores into the environment, even it's great grandfather can't stop them now. It truly doesn't belong here, and he was sure there were more of the bloody things flying around somewhere. Some fool had planted eggs here 5000 years ago.
These humans are truly unlucky, it was mostly their fault anyways. They became cocky because they were off the food chain and screwed up the balance of Earth's ecosystem, and were forced to migrate across the stars. They'll most likely screw up this ecosystem too. No other species were willing to contact the humans because they were deemed not sophisticated enough to become part of the Univercom. Sya wondered why the traitors even betrayed their homeplanet to return to the hellhole that is Earth. Probably just wanted to fight.
The cockpit opened and Sya leaped out, he needed fresh air, if he stayed in that tiny space any longer while thinking, he might wipe out the humans himself. He decided to stay on this moon a while longer to monitor the situation and recharge his energy. As a member of Univercom, it was his job to report things like this back since this was a unexplored planet moon thing. He wasn't a fan of scientific speech. Sya sent the ship in satellite form into orbit in order to record further data, provide back up, and send a distress beacon for the Univercom to send a ship and pick him up. Sya was a valued member after all.
Armed with a bundle of kukkuri blades that the ship had manufactured for him before taking off, and the Shifter cloak, he made his way through the jungle.
Xi-14 smiled when she found that the creature was capable of talking in the common language, and was, for the least, well-mannered. She knew some humans that were more harsh on their own kin, and she thought that it was only due to their pass. Maybe. In anyways, the creature even have a name. It was Marfedelom Darastrix. The name didn’t say anything to her, and the dragons were in part of the mythology section in her database. Unlike the database on the ship, she had information that the crew judged unimportant for them, but she kept them, in case she needed them. Camille acted surprised a little bit, finding it interesting that there was things that people classed as a myth on this moon. She also realised that the dragon won’t let her fall on the ground, so she loosen the grip on it.
Then, the dragon told words that weren’t common. She had a slight moment to cycle through the list of language in her hard drives, but the translation were non-conclusive. She thought that it might be because the creature had his own language. There wasn’t very much known on the dragon language, since they didn’t exist back on Earth. She ran the sentence through a logic scanner. There wasn’t an immediate result, so she hold on the scanner as a background process and she tried to answer.
「My name is Camille Verlmont. Although, I’m referred as Xi-14 from the other member my people.」 She wondered if she should told it about her past. After all, everyone on board of the ship knew about her true existence. Well, most of them. Camille smiled softly. It would better to let the dragon know her better. 「I’m going to be honest with you; I’m not of the same species as the other. They call themselves humans, and it is common to think that I’m one of them, because I look and act like one of them. However, I’m what they call a robot. It might be hard to explain, but I was made from the human species. They gathered tons of knowledge and materials to build me. Although, unlike the other robots, I am the most realistically close to the human species. Some of them thought I was a miracle, and they have been studying on me for few years now.」She closed her eyes, thinking. 「I don’t have a goal in life. I wasn’t finished when they discovered me; I missed a program that would tell me so. For now, I just want to find my creator, so he can finish me. The only problem is… I don’t know who or where he or she is… 」She let a small sigh, looking down to the ground. 「I don’t even know if he or she exist anymore, and there is not a big chance he or she is here, on this planet. I guess I’ll try help the humans for now.」And then, she let a small giggle. 「Or not. It is really up to me, because I was made to be self-aware. Meaning that I know my own existence.」
She looked up into the sky. 「It is truly beautiful here…」When she realised that, she felt guilty. She remembered – or data was flowing in her head – that the humans have destroyed their home planet so much that they needed to move away. 「I just hope the humans learned their mistake.」She said, not adding anything as she looked around in awe.
Around them, gazelle-like creatures leaped and bounded around, seemingly unaware of the Dragon as it walked through their lands. There was a group of young ones playing, which caught the attention of the Dragon. "Heh, the tekir are playing. Reminds me of when I was a young nuwa'jimos with my kin. Back before they left to live on other parts of the planet." He said.
On the other side of Marfedelom, A herd of huge elephant-like creatures grazed on the grass and trees around them. They were similar to normal elephants, except that their size was different. They were at least twice the size of an elephant, and more like Mammoths in a way, except that they had much less hair. Their tusks were also massive, forming intricate curls that the creatures used for fending off predators. Their hide was also much thicker than and elephants, making them tougher to kill.
"If I may ask, Camille, what are humans like? Towards the unknown I mean. How would they jehli meeting me? Would they be hostile? Or curious? And why are they here? Did something happen to their planet?" He would ask. He would ask a question, wait for an answer, then ask the next as to not bombard the female with too many questions at once.
As they passed a tree, one of those hairless cat creatures that had attacked one of the probes would growl and show itself in the branches of the tree. It would eye Camille, but would not do anything. After it growled and hissed at them, Marfedelom let out a growl of his own. A deep, guttural, menacing growl that showed his dominance over the creatures here.
As they continued to move through the field, a few birds would land on the back of the Dragon, picking at his scales with their beaks. From in between the scales, they'd pull out parasites and relieve the Dragon of any annoyances in the process.
A strange looking human jumped out in front of him poised to attack but lowered its guard. Sya mentally face palmed himself, normally he would've been able to detect the human from quite a distance away, but there was way too much activity going on plus he was feeling agitated. Even worse, the human was the one he wanted to meet with the least. He was the one who hacked into the goggles and Shifter's system when Sya was repairing the robot. Despite the fact that he purposely lowered the firewall to a minimum as a bait, it was still an impressive feat for a human. This one was probably the most dangerous out of the bunch, Sya's goggles picked up atmospheric entry residue on the armor, the sword wasn't normal either. At most the technology would belong to a candidate middle list Univercom planet. He will have to include a report about this person to send back to HQ. For now he will gather for information about this person, because something kept tugging in the back of his mind similar to the time with the robot, he will need a bit to put two ends together.
Good, the human seems to see him as a ally because he repaired the robot, this confirms him to be the creator or at least caretaker, the equipment matched at least.
Sya shifted the bundle of weapons he was carrying and extended his hand in the customary human gesture of greeting and smiled genuinely.
"Hello, my name is Leonhart, thank goodness I found someone from the ship. I hope we could be friends."
「 They call me Thylan around here 」He chuckled softly, grinning at his quirkiness. Although, it isn’t his real name. The center that he went in wanted him to forget his past. It was one of the reason he hated the humans; they hated his family, and tried to wash his mind with a new identity. Although, this build up a perfect alibi against any claim that he would have hacked into any system. Well, unless for Leonhart, since he knew about his activity. 「 It is good to find someone else too; I was kind of worried that the pods wouldn’t make the atmospheric entry, 」but he wasn’t. 「 Although, I do suspect there is some that survived. The expectancy is less than 30. Even though, 」he looked around, 「 I think it will be better to return to the small house I set up. 」He chucked another of those little device on the side. He explained to Leonhart that even with all the sensors he had, they were never sure what might be around. Thylan also explained how to connect him to the small devices, and he immediately reinforced his own firewall, deemed it would be better for preventing connection to it, and the discovery of the technology by the survivors.
The dragon seems to be asking more question. It wasn’t surprising; after all, she never met any dragons, and she doesn’t think that any dragons met any humans, judging by the react of the dragon. The looked around for a moment before answering; she didn’t know where she was in relation to the others. She lost contact with the crew after the pod got away, and they haven’t set out a communication center yet, meaning she wouldn’t be receiving any messages for a bit. She tried to sense any human activity, but there was no response. Camille frowned a bit, trying to come up with a reason. 「I’m not sure, to be honest… I had a slight derivation in my course compared to the others, which caused a big offset of distance. I can’t determine a location… I’m terribly sorry.」
Then she looked at the gazelle-like creatures. It make her smile, remembering how much the creatures back on earth, before it was a complete waste, were beautiful. The dragon talked about his past, but again, the way he adds his own language the common one throw her programs off, unable to decide which words to choose. However, she could figure out a bit of what he was saying, but only a bit. She looked around more, smiling.
The dragon then asked her a difficult questioning; how will the humans react to him. This would need a bit of time, but she ran some simulation. According to her, the humans will be in a small group, so they will be more determined to protect themselves. She shrugged. 「Humans are very intelligent. Even how selfish they are, they are capable of empathy. Empathy is the understanding and sharing of others emotion. Due to the circumstances, I predict they will first trying to make you go away, since you’ll be considered as a threat. They aren’t mean, but they might think that you want to kill them. Although, I think that once they understand that you are on their side, they’ll calm themselves. If they persist on trying to cause you harm, I’ll interfere. I don’t want you and the humans to cause casualties. It would be very bad.」 Then he asked what happened to their planet.
She take a small breath, though she didn’t need it. 「Like I said, humans are very selfish. About 8 years ago… well, ‘human years’, humans had to take their leave of their home planet. It because unhealthy to live there for them, due to war and pollution for hundreds of years. They always knew about the problem, but never got around to actually solve it. They are now in search of a new home planet to rebuild their civilisation, hoping that they’ll can restart and do a better job to keep their new home as livable as possible. However, only few of them survived…」
She then saw one of the creature eyeing at her. She wasn’t much scared, because she was better armored now to kill any threat to her, and she felt safe on the dragon. The dragon even roared at the creature to show he won’t let the creature get him or Camille easily. Then comes the birds, getting on the dragon’s back. She chuckled softly, seeing a perfect balance; the birds would get feed with parasites, and the dragon will be relieved. 「Have you ever had other aliens on your planet, besides us?」
"Clearly, they are intelligent, they would not have been able to come here otherwise. Coi ui their selfishness that bothers me. And their initial hostility will not be of any concern to me, however, if you were to step in, I hope that you could make them see that I am not hostile. I would not like to svent off a dying race." he said. "I would also like to say that I won't tolerate the death of a race on this planet due to hunting. The humans will have to hunt different types of animals each season as to allow the game to repopulate." the Dragon advised. "But, the point is, I am of as much a threat to them as they are to this planet as a whole."
The Dragon huffed in disappointment. "I should hope that they have learned from their mistakes. I geou ti have this planet be poisoned by something that could have been prevented." he warned, his tone becoming a bit dark. A few minutes passed after the female asked her last question before he answered.
"No, not that I can remember. You are the first aliens to arrive on my planet." he said. "And you are welcome here as long as you do not poison this planet, or threaten the ecosystem." he added. His wings spread out to their full span and then went up, stretching before he spoke again. "I realize your civilization will need room to expand, and I ask that you do not expand into the jungles. The plants will fight back. And try not to expand into the territory of the Mammoths, for they will break down your walls and run amok." he said.
He lifted his nose and took a whiff or two before turning. "Silly me. I got so caught up in our conversation I lost direction of where we were going. I smell something that isn't from here not too far away." he said. He then turned and spread his great wings, the birds taking off and flying away. He then would lift off and fly faster and faster until he could glide a couple hundred feet from the ground towards Omega 3.
Omega three order the maintenance bots to connect to him so he would appear to be alone and so he could regenerate faster. Omega then sent up a flare to tell Xi-14 and the dragon where he is. That being done he stood in a clearing and waited.
Pod 14 had entered Europa II's atmosphere 6 minutes prior to any other pod. It had been the first to launch. The signal had traveled to every other pod, and in turn, every other pod that was occupied had launched because someone else had launched. However, 14 had a deviation off of course and landed about ten minutes away from any other pod. The occupants had also been knocked unconscious for about 45 minutes.
Forevermore Maria
As her eyes flicked open, she gasped from the humidity of the pod. The door's locking mechanism had blown out from the crash, opening the door, but everything and everyone (Forevermore and Ace were the only ones in the pod) was fine. She undid the buckles holding her in her bed, then lightly slapped Ace awake. She grabbed her backpack and duffel bag, then exited the pod.
Ace Grant
Ace tried to sit up quickly, but was stopped rather rudely by the straps holding him down. He undid them, and sat in his bed. After a few minutes of catching his breath, he switched into his MCPA armor, put his backpack in the storage compartment of the back, sniper under it on his back,Teslatic pistol at his hip, magnum in his backpack with the mess rock, and he kept ever one of his grenades in a bandolier pack he had strapped to his other leg's thigh, over the armor. She then slung his own duffel bag over his shoulder and exited the pod.
And he gasped.
The world outside was a beautiful jungle, overgrown from millions of years of being untouched by anything sentient building anything, The atmosphere was 100% unpolluted, and as such was very, very clear. The day sky didn't even hardly have as much of a blue color, and you could see the stars. Though, there was light pollution from the moon, the planet, and the star, and as such other stars were much less bright. Ace could tell that once night came it would be ten times over more beautiful.
He looked around at the landscape. They had landed in a dense jungle, but in a clearing about 50 yards wide. It would be an idea camping ground, as the sky could actually be seen and it was nearly clear aside from tall grass, they wouldn't stay. First order of business was to find other humans. He looked over at Forevermore, who was dressed in her own armor.
"Hey... Any intel of other's locations?"
Forevermore Maria
Forevermore shook her head. "I tried contacting the scientist, but to no avail. There are satellites around the planet, but if no one has connected their NeuroHeadsets, then they cannot be contacted." She sighed. She then ran a GPS scan, and a few dots appeared around the continent she was on. She zoomed in. Two were standing together, not far from where they were. A different signal appeared about equally as far from the two dots as they were from them, though on the other side. This signal wasn't a Headset, but was a robot of sorts. She noticed another dot travelling rather fastly across the GPS then finally coming to a stop. The dot was that of a robot, though it was strange that it seemed to be... flying... This reminded her of something-
And she stifled a strained cry.
Ace noticed Forevermore was upset, and he asked what was wrong out of being worried.
"YOU LEFT ED-A IN THE LOADING BAY, WHICH WAS DESTROYED!" She yelled out, disturbing a flock of alien birds nearby and causing them to take flight from the tree of which they were perched.
"Calm down, Marie! No I didn't. I didn't have time to retrieve her, but I sent wake up override codes to her. She woke up and made it to a pod nearby, she is most likely somewhere safe on this continent. And you know well more than anyone she will make her journey to you.
She nodded. ED-A was safe. That's what mattered. "I didn't see her signal on the GPS, so she must not have been re-awoken. She would have been shut off from the atmospheric entering. Can you turn her back on?"
He shook his head. "If I don't know her location, then I can't. Try looking for a group of robots, I sent her to a pod that had more than one robot in it."
She zoomed in on all of the groups, until finally the dot near the other two dots, that was a robot, also happened to have signals of other smaller robots around. She clicked on the dot and ran a scan. The robot's signal came back as an Omega, a type of non-human Mecha robot. She tapped the area. "Send the signal there. Most likely, that's where she went.
Ace nodded and wrote the override code. He then sent it in a decompiled format. The format could not be snatched, stopped, or blocked, but could only be copied and viewed. He then sent it to the area. If ED-A was in the area, then she would be awaken.
And so he left his bundle near the house and set back into the jungle with a single blade. He had noticed the dragon landing with Xi-14 moments before he left and greeted them before leaving, acting surprised to see the dragon.
The rendezvous point was an hour's sprint away, he was unsure of the purpose of the meeting but he awaited further instructions sent by the Univercom. Soon enough, he received a notification from the Shifter satellite that a package from Univercom had arrived. He ordered it to be sent down immediately. It appears he won't be extracted from this system anytime soon, HQ had further plans for him, most likely involving laying down FOUNDATION.
Moments later a 4 foot long capsule touched down and landed perfectly, it's decent slowed down by thrusters. Univercom really did their job well, replying to his signals quickly and sending him supplies. The capsule was absolutely first class, he couldn't even detect it enter the atmosphere, and it was already cooled down by the time he touched it. With a slight pshhhh, the capsule opened, responding to his touch. Inside were multiple items an tools, but most importantly: FOUNDATION tablets.
He read the manual and mission description, and the last lines read, "so simple even a human can do it."
"Simple my ass," he murmured, the installation was complicated as hell and he had to plant 10 of these 2 ton tablets all over the moon. Although laying the FOUNDATION was considered a dirty job, it was a extremely vital one that could determine the entire fate of this system. A normal foundation tablet will tap in directly into the core of the moon, and will absorb the energy of the stars. It will monitor the planet's ecosystem and change the core with star energy to keep the balance. Another plus is that it was an unlimited source of clean energy. Planets with FOUNDATION are often the starting point of Univercom operations to make nearby bodies habitable. Thus they are intending to make contact with the humans, which was unlikely, so they will come in when they are wiped out most likely. It was too early to say, he only needed to do his job.
There was another item that was seperate from the rest: a cube labeled "throw me." His coordinators had a weird sense of humor. So he threw it at a nearby empty clearing. Out of nowhere a gigantic cube structure materialized, it measured 30 feet all around, and he bet it was even bigger inside than it looked. Like all his equipment the cube responded to his touch and opened the doors, all of them. There were doors of all sizes and the interior was incredibly spacious as expected. Design was of the latest technology and he could only stand there grinning, he was a valued member after all. Turns out, it was the latest model of the Tripedal Land Walker, the armor was first rate, onboard weapons were decent, average speed, and all the functions you could think of. The only downside was that it could only walk on land.
Eager to play with his new toy, he had to resist the urge to just walk around in it, he had to get back soon, otherwise the people would get suspicious. He had to do one thing first though, quickly running inside to pick up a magnetic transporter, he drove it to pick up the nearby downed mechs and dropped them inside the cargo hold along with the capsule.
It was time to head back, but he had a hard time hiding the thing... It had built in invisibility but it was a pain to drive it everywhere. As if it read his mind, the walker reverted back into its compact cube form. Sya picked it up, tossed it in the air a few times and began to head back to the temporary settlement.
Then he noticed another string of signal that Omega 3 sent. It was possibly that there was someone using something the robot could understand. He tried to see to connect to one of the NeuroHeadset, since the signal was very poor due to the fact that it wasn’t connected to the satellite. 「 Hello, this is Thylan. Do you receive me correctly? 」he said, hoping that they would receive it and talk back to him. He did not connect himself to the satellite, but it wasn’t for forgetting, but for personal reasons.
She nodded then and there, understanding the dragon’s speech. With the quickness of her programs, she was able to understand his speech partly. It wasn’t a perfect translation, but it wouldn’t be a surprise coming from a creature with an unknown language. She deemed the information she collected unimportant, and marked as not to sync. She wouldn’t like to share something if it was wrong. Even for a robot, she can make mistake.
She understood; the dragon wouldn’t like to cause the extinction of the human race, but there was a condition to it. First, they would have to not poison the planet. She could understand that he meant about the chemicals they used to send in Earth. Second, they would need to keep the species living on this planet alive. Camille could understand, but she wondered if the humans will understand as well.
The dragon seems to be very intelligent to consider that the human race might need room for expansion. She can notice that with her data, looking at how much the human habitations grew over the globe years and years before all of this started. It was really something to see. Of course, for now, she was the only one able to understand the potential of the human expansion, but understood that the jungle is a dangerous place for them to establish. Many would say that it wouldn’t be a problem, but she thought it was better to not mess with the unknown.
She felt confident enough when the dragon lifted off, since the dragon was friend and an ally to her. Camille’s face seems to light up when she received a signal from one of the Omega. She looked as the flare shoot high up in the sky, pointing at it. 「 I just got a signal from of the robots over there. It says that it want us to land near it. It wants to know you. 」She giggled softly; the knowing part made her smile. She didn’t know if the Omega was able to feel like her, but she guessed it was more of a security matter. She let the dragon fly there, appreciating the ecosystem.
After Camille got down from his back, if she wanted to, he'd retract his wing and then lay down, making sure that the humans nearby were not underneath him first. He then looked directly at Omega 3. "Greetings, I am Marfedelom Darastrix" he said to the robot. As he spoke, a large flock of birds flew over and landed on various places on his body, picking away at parasites between his scales.
Now that someone could see him up close and not be distracted by the scenery and/or his questions, they would notice that throughout his wings, lightning would be circulating similarly to how blood would. However, they would only notice this when his wings were outstretched
The great Dragon would open its maw to say something else, but would then quickly stand and turn. In the distance, a great, low and piercing rumble would be heard. Marfedelom would turn towards it and walk forward. It was coming from the mountain range in the far off distance. The great Dragon would then let out his own bellowing roar, which rumbled deeply and echoed throughout the land without any problem.
The Dragon would then return to where he laid by the robot known as Omega 3. "I'm sorry, but one of my nest mates wanted to know if I was alright. I'm sure you humans know how over protective an older myvish or isthasy can be of their younger siblings." he said. His voice was deep, strong, intelligent, and screamed that he was dominant here, but it was also assertive and gentle.
Ace received Omega's message, though he didn't have time. His NeuroHeadset beeped twice and the words "Incoming Transmission!" flashed across his vision. He accepted the call.
「 Hello, this is Thylan. Do you receive me correctly? 」
He opened another window, opening Omega's message, and noticed Thylan and Omega were together. "I acknowledge your transmission. The call has been received correctly. I am Ace Grant, and I am here with my sister Forevermore Maria."
Forevermore Maria
Meanwhile, Forevermore went back to the pod, entered the code saying it was on a planet and no longer in space, then stepped out again. The insides of the pod shifted about, beds turning to seats and more of the control panel being revealed. She then stepped inside again and ran a damage check. The only thing damaged was the door's locking mechanism... And the door. Oh well. She sat in the driver's seat and started it up. A low hum was heard as it's electromagnet repulsors kicked into gear, and the pod lifted up a few feet off of the ground. She watched as Ace went over to the pod and sat in the passenger's seat.
"We're closing in on your location. We are not hostile. We'll see you soon." He said to Thylan.
