The robot soon felt ejected from the place she was in. An hour there in the cargo, lying down with her motor not responding. Once she could move again, she felt compelled to go back to the R&B department. She slowly made her way there, easily bypassing the security system for the door from the cargo into the main area of the ship. The alarms had sounded loudly as it was announced an intruder was here, and many soldiers came out to encircle Camille. She looked around in confusion; why they haven’t recognize her? Was there a problem in the ship system? These people talking over their radio as she overheard the conversation. She saw a crowd of people gathering to peer over the soldiers, and one of them asked them to get out his way so he could inspect the intruder. It was the scientist she first saw, but he was new to her. Her memory was only filled with her programs, and a mystery data she haven’t looked yet. The scientist soon disabled the alarm, seeing that it was in fact the robot that was put to quarantine, since it was too damaged for them to repair. The scientist lead her to the office she was once lived in, but it was all new to her. The scientist knelt down to her, looking into her eyes.
“How long have been this trip?”
「 I’m unable to answer. No data have been found. 」
“What is the name of this ship?”
「 I’m unable to answer. No data have been found. 」
“Who is your creator?”
「 I’m unable to answer. No data have been found. 」
The scientist smiled. Soon, more people rushed into the office to analyse her, but he scrawled as he said that it was his job now and they had nothing to do here. He said that they had other stuff to do. The people looked at him like if he was insane, but he was right. They had given him the task now, since the last one unfortunately died. They got out, whispering to each other on own much he changed in just a few seconds. The scientist sighed, indicating to Xi-14 to sit down on the chair. The chair had been modified, but it was new to her. She whimpered a bit when she felt connected to something, but soon she made no sound. Her memories went back into her, but there was altered memories and deleted ones. However, it was new to her.
Once the transfer done, the scientist said to her, or more entered as a code: “If anything bad happens, search for a small crate marked M8V§48R¶ after entering into Europa II.” and then she was deactivated for the moment. He made sure that nobody was around, and he opened a small part of her, where a clear crystal was to be found. He pulled it out and threw it into the trash. He then place a mysterious purple one, and putted the small part back together, reactivating her.
She was let back into the ship on her own, just to make sure that everything is ok with her. He said that she’ll monitor her from a distance so she won’t be bothered by him. She skipped around the ship, looked at the face of people she knew. Even though, they were new. They looked at her with some kind of rejection. She did not understand it, but her programs told her to not go to them. Instead, she led herself to the window she was once observing the infinite space. He leaned on the rail, looking through the transparent material, in complete silence.
