Description

Eyebot Duraframe Subject A, more commonly known as ED-A (pronounced "Edda" by some and "E-D-A" by others) is a the last Duraframe eyebot prototype.
ED-A is a Myth Industries eyebot from the Southern Coast, built by an unknown scientist as a prototype Duraframe bot for Myth Industries. ED-A is a prototype "duraframe" model. ED-A and others like it have been enhanced for regular combat as opposed to the original model, which functioned primarily as a mobile radio transmitter. However, since the war and other problems on Earth, then the complete abandonment of Earth, eyebot production was halted, making ED-A the last known surviving model. ED-A was sold to Forevermore Maria as a research bot, but before it was sold the scientist who built it uploaded an enormous amount of valuable data on Titan Corp and his duraframe research into ED-A's logs, then dispatched it to Forevermore, where he knew it would be safely put on Board EDEN alongside the scientist's son and another of his creations.
Although ED-A still retains all of its data and understanding of the companies and other secrets, its internal positioning and accessing hardwares are badly damaged. The only reason it has not been seized by interested parties is because ED-E has not communicated its special mission to anyone, and as such no one know's it's special and everyone think's it to be an ordinary Eyebot.
Being a Duraframe Eyebot, ED-A is no ordinary Eyebot. In fact, the only similarity it has to any other Eyebot is it's appearance, and even that is different. Commonly, an eyebot is a hovering, propaganda-spewing reconnaissance and surveillance robot with radio antennas pointing out its back, and loudspeakers in the front. Eyebots were designed by Myth industries, though the Duraframe model wasn't designed by them, it was said to be designed for them.
ED-A has enhanced and upgraded sensors, having an on-board Global Positioning System said to be more accurate than a NeuroHeadset. It can see through cloaked robots, armor, and vehicles. It should go unsaid it can see through camouflage. It's on board repair systems automatically repair the robot if it receives any damage, it's thrusters are much stronger and more controlled than that of a regular Eyebot. It can also refuel and recharge Microfusion and Energy Cells. Though perhaps the most important and obvious feature of the Duraframe Eyebot, and the reason it received it's name, is the upgraded armor and weapons on it. A regular Eyebot is only equipped with a taser on par with that of an average police's. The Duraframe bot is equipped with an Electricity generator that generates enough electricity tom power a house, that electricity is then sent throughout ED-A, most of it going to the weapon. A weapon that has 3 tesla prongs sticking infront of the robot, and as an attack the electrical arcs jumping from prong to prong are shot in an electrical stream towards the target, enough to kill a human after three shocks. As an added bonus, the electricity doubles as an EMP, able to shut off robots, power armor, mechs and vehicles after six or seven shocks. It will definitely cause problems with the first through sixth. And the Duraframe's armor far surpasses any other eyebot's armor being not only thicker but also made of layered Transparent Alumina, a compound as strong as steel, (Look it up, it actually exists.) and Carbon Nanotubes (Commonly known as Graphene), the strongest material ever discovered by man. Ever. However, the Graphene layers are super small and thin (About as thin as paper), it is then covered by Transparent Alumina, and then painted stainless steel.
Personality Overview: This is important. ED-A was engineered to be self-aware. This is extremely unique and rare in robots, and almost every robot discovered to be this way is studied on. The only reason ED-A isn't is because no one other than Forevermore, Ace, Xi and possibly Thylan know this (Though Thylan and Xi won't be able to distinguish ED-A as a duraframe due to it having a red and white themed paint job and it looking like a medical bot, that's it's disguise). Since ED-A is self aware, she does have needs and wants, and will have emotions such as frustration. However, she speaks the same beeping language every Eyebot speaks. Other robots, and humans intelligent enough to understand the beeping, will understand what she is trying to say. She can also play recordings, and radio frequencies, and records almost everything said around her.

Ace Grant
Ace received Omega's message, though he didn't have time. His NeuroHeadset beeped twice and the words "Incoming Transmission!" flashed across his vision. He accepted the call.
「 Hello, this is Thylan. Do you receive me correctly? 」
He opened another window, opening Omega's message, and noticed Thylan and Omega were together. "I acknowledge your transmission. The call has been received correctly. I am Ace Grant, and I am here with my sister Forevermore Maria."

Forevermore Maria
Meanwhile, Forevermore went back to the pod, entered the code saying it was on a planet and no longer in space, then stepped out again. The insides of the pod shifted about, beds turning to seats and more of the control panel being revealed. She then stepped inside again and ran a damage check. The only thing damaged was the door's locking mechanism... And the door. Oh well. She sat in the driver's seat and started it up. A low hum was heard as it's electromagnet repulsors kicked into gear, and the pod lifted up a few feet off of the ground. She watched as Ace went over to the pod and sat in the passenger's seat.
"We're closing in on your location. We are not hostile. We'll see you soon." He said to Thylan.
((This is how the pod looks like, everyone. Yes, they can be used as vehicles. http://cdn.obsidianportal.com/assets/95 ... Hatama.jpg))
「Eyebot Duraframe Subject A」
In the ruined pod Omega 3 had emerged from, another robot rebooted. The robot appeared to be a regular Eyebot. It shook a little, lifted off of the ground, and floated outside looking around and scanning. It made a few expository beeps, but only robots and some humans could understand it. A dragon would definitely not understand the workings of a Duraframe Eyebot.

The tail of the great Dragon would coil around Xi-14, and place her on the ground before the Dragon spread its wings and took off, flying back to the mountain and back into the cave that he called his home. He could now just simply watch what happened on the planet, and hope that the humans would follow the advice he had given Xi-14.

「Eyebot Duraframe Subject A」
ED-A, pronounced "E-D-A" by most, and "Edda" by those close to her, was a unique robot in disguise. She appeared as a common Eyebot. Commonly, an eyebot is a hovering, propaganda-spewing reconnaissance and surveillance robot with radio antennas pointing out its back, and loudspeakers in the front. Though ED-A wasn't a regular Eyebot. Being made by the same creator as Xi-14, ED-A was also one of very few Self-aware robots to ever be created. Whereas other robots can be programmed with huge loads of data and fake feelings to fool others, ED-A and Xi had real feelings. It was hard for ED-A, though. She was loaded with immense amounts of valuable data Thylan would need, and others would need too, and she had feelings, but she couldn't speak english.
ED-A floated over to Omega 3, and hovered by it in waiting for Forevermore and Ace. It sat still, its only movement being its slow and steady hovering, floating up and down. It kept up the charade of being a mindless Eyebot, but all the while it surveyed it's surroundings.

Omega 3 saw ED-A float over to him and wait. Omega scanned to see if anything was wrong but everything appeared to be all right. "I'm happy you're still intact ED-A I don't want to lose anyone else." Omega said. Though most robots don't have feelings he likes to talk to them and treat them like real people.
