Magic: Illusions and Enhancements
Background: The Beaupre family is a recently ascended house of nobility in the Empire of Achenar. They're ascension came about due in part to their contributions to the war effort which also lead to them being one of the first families to have magic in their line. The Beaupre House, mostly comprised of engineers and mechanics, were tasked with developing methods to trouble shoot and repair malfunctioning Mana Engines. While they were not entirely successful, they're contributions lead to the development of Makeshift Engines, flawed copies of the Originals. After the first Elitist was discovered in their family, and ultimately conscripted into the Imperial Armed Forces, the Beaupre House was ascended into nobility.
As such Francine was born into Nobility. Without a need for anything or a single want left unsatisfied. It wasn't long before she was discovered to bare the gift of magic and thus during her childhood she was protected and kept under close watch of many. She was rarely permitted to leave her estate in Arcania, in part to protect her from any rival houses and in part to keep the state of the nations people from altering her. However her families attempts to keep her contained merely gave her the opportunity to practice, afterall her gift gave her the power to cast illusions. Hiding her casting, behind the whistling or humming of music, she would cast her illusions on her families gaurds and escape to explore the city.
The division she noticed was alarming and contradicting to the teachings that her family offered her. However as she grew, Francine came to understand. Her family was protecting her. Yet she also knew that she could not permit things to remain as they are.
