Personality:
Natalya is very free spirited and adventurous, she has always loved learning and trying new things. She has never been much of a girly-girl, more into paintball rather than painting her nails and very bold in her opinions(that's the nice way of saying she's stubborn as hell). Natalya is a very outgoing and kind person but she has a bit of a temper. While she would never be rude or mean to someone who didn't deserve it she has very little patience or respect for those who do. She's always had a bit of wild side and she's often one to get into some trouble but her nature and demeanor often allow her to weasel her way out of the worst consequences. Natalya, though a very sociable person, is very hesitant to open up to others, her family life having caused her to have trust issues. Overall despite her flaws Natalya has a good heart and most often means well.

History:
When Natalya's mother was only 17 she became pregnant with Natalya. Her mother's family being Italian and very strict, they kicked her out and disowned her. Her mother, having a drug problem, no home, and an unsteady job, decided to leave Natalya with her father. Her father's brother being the leader of the Russian Mafia, life after that was quite interesting for Natalya. While most girls growing up went to school and learned ballet, Natalya was going to drug deals and learning how to hot wire a car or murder someone in 30 different ways. Surprisingly, Natalya liked her life and job a lot, her father gave her almost anything she wanted as long as she stayed out of the way and anything else he taught her how to steal.
Once she turned 13 Natalya started trying to convince her father to let her join the family business fully. At first he was very hesitant but eventually he decided to let her if she went to the high school he chose for her, hoping she would choose music over the Mafia. Since she had gone through a mix of home schooling and private school all her life Natalya agreed. At first she was furious when she found out that the school was in California. Growing up in New York, she had no family or friends in California, but when she found out that it was a school that took music seriously she wasn't as mad. While the school had offered her a scholarship her father declined and payed for her tuition for all four years.
After first arriving at the school Natalya was quick to make friends. While her immediate bestie Dytto was a cheerleader, when face with the choice of a clique Natalya chose the rebels. They reminded her much of her 'Family' back home and therefore she got along with them well. Through her Freshman year Natalya continued to gain more friends and the occasional enemy and it turned out she loved the school. She joined the Music Club and the swim team, actually quite excited to be able to do extra-curricular activities now that she didn't have to 'work' during her free time. Despite not being a Jock, Natalya's sophomore year she was voted team captain due to having the best times on the team. Unsurprisingly this quickly turned out to be a mistake, due to Natalya's lack of leadership skills and work ethic, so the team changed her to co-captain and added a more hard-working, driven person as the other captain. Over the summers Natalya goes back to New York and spends the time with her Father and Uncle. She even got back in touch with her mother's parents during the summer after her sophomore year and spends some time with them now every summer.

Pets:
Shadow
Her oldest dog, Natalya has had Shadow since she was 13 when she found him on the streets.
Lilith
Her youngest, Lilith is only 3 years old. Natalya' father bought her the pup a few months after her 16th birthday.
Rage
Her newest dog, Natalya found him fighting two other dogs in a fighting pit about a year ago and rescued him.

Academics:
Natalya has been attending Crossroads Academy since she was in 9th grade. Before that she attended a few private schools in New York. While Natalya is smart she prefers to focus her efforts on other things so she had always brought home solid C+/B-'s. The only exceptions to this were any physical education or music classes which she always brought home A's. Mathematics is also a strong point for Natalya but she doesn't put much time into it and there fore it's always been a solid B+.

Athletics/Clubs:
Co-Captain of the Swim Team
Member of the Boxing Team (club)
Member of the Archery Team (club)
Member of the Music Club
Vice President of the Automotive Club

Secrets:
-Her Family Business {Being a part of the Russian Mafia doesn't exactly entice people to be friends with you...}
People who Know: No One.
-Her Fear of Thunderstorms {Being a music buff means sitting around with your eyes closed and your music blasting is natural}
People who Know: Jax, Amelia, Michaela
-Her Fear of Being Alone {With all the friends she has who would think she could possibly feel alone?}
People who Know: No One
-Was Offered a Scholarship in Music{There are other people who needed that scholarship far more than I did.}
People who Know: Jax

Other:
-Her name was originally Seraphina Alaine Callaghan but her father changed it when she was 4 months old, when Natalya's mother gave her to her father. This is why she doesn't have a traditional Russian middle name.
-She has glasses but strongly prefers wearing contacts.
-Has done some modeling.
-Can speak Russian, Spanish, Mandarin Chinese, and Italian all fluently. Knows a good amount of French and German.

House:
Natalya decided to put all of her modeling money and a large amount of her money earned from helping her dad into buying a house and some land not far from the school. It's about a twenty minute drive from the school.
The Main Building is quite large. It has two living rooms, one on the First Floor and a smaller one in The Basement. There are two Bathrooms(not counting the one off her father's bedroom) and five bedrooms upstairs, Four Of The Bedrooms being guest bedrooms and the other one being Her Father's Room.
On the first floor there are two bedrooms, Natalya's Room and her dog's room (each has their own bed/cage in a corner of the room and then there's a large chest of toys in the fourth corner). There are three more bathrooms on the first floor, two just like the ones upstairs and the last a Master Bath off of Natalya's room (Just like the one off her father's room).
Other Notable Features:
Staff House - A good distance away from the house to keep the noise from traveling. Natalya's live-in Maid/Pet-Sitter/Personal Chef stays here. It has it's own small pool and and it's own driveway that goes to the main road.
Garage - Two separate buildings from the house. The larger of the two is the actual garage, and has the room to hold eight cars (two behind each door). The second floor of this Large building is Natalya's Music Room/Studio she keeps all of her recording and video stuff in there as well as a Grand Piano, and whole Band's worth of instuments, and the bulk of her guitar collection. (Though she keeps her favorites with her, aka-at school, and the extremely valuable ones in New York) The smaller building is her own auto shop, big enough to fit two cars in to work on.
Kitchen - The kitchen it quite large, the same room holding a dining table since Natalya converted the actual dining room into a gaming room.
Gaming Rooms- The largest takes up most of the basement, housing pool tables, pinball games, two bars and other assorted games. This room is usually the main attraction during parties, especially since the middle of the room is a large dance floor.
The second is on the first floor of the house where the dining hall used to be. Natalya locks this room during parties. Along one wall it holds 6 gaming computer setups, all side by side. and along the other side she has 6 TV setups(without the keyboard). Against the back wall of the room there's a home studio. The wall next to the door is racks full of 6 copies of all the games she and her friends like to play.
Gym - A small room on the first floor
Pool- When Natalya bought the house, upon seeing the pool, immediately had it made larger, though she kept the shape cause it seemed strange, much like herself.

Vehicles:
These are only the ones in Cali with her.
-Truck(I have no clue what type xD) - Her Dad got this for her Freshman Year
-Lamborghini Gallardo - Natalya's Favorite Car. The Hand-Drawn, Hand-Painted design took a full year to be completed.
-McLauren P1 - Her 17th birthday present from her Uncle, who was trying to upstage her father.(And technically succeeding with the paint job)
-Aston Martin One-77 - Her 17th birthday present from her dad.
-2015 Harley-Davidson Street 500
-Kawasaki Z1
-2016 Indian Chieftain
-Harley-Davidson Sportster 883
-2016 Kawasaki Ninja 300
-Honda CBR600RR

Today is the first official day back on Crossroads Academy's campus, and there is an undeniable air of excitement and jitters on campus. Throughout the morning, cars had driven up the long driveway that led onto the campus, packed to the brink with parents, children, and suitcases filled with everything a teenager could need, only to be drive right back down it a little while later, empty, and usually with teary-eyed parents. It was nothing less than a tradition, and though many felt it was sad to see their parents go, most students did genuinely like Crossroads Academy. The fact that it was located right on the beautiful California coast played a part in it, and it possessing facilities nice enough to rival top colleges was a perk too, but the relationships made while at a boarding school were different than at many normal high schools. They were stronger, or that's what many of Crossroads' students would tell you, anyway.

Like the other dorm advisers on campus, Holly and Brian had spent their mornings acquainting themselves to parents and helping students move into their rooms. They had moved on campus a few days before, and though this meant that their summers were over too, they were both glad that the school year was starting. While Holly had worked as a dorm adviser for four years, and had acted as a dorm adviser for the girls she would be living with this year since they were freshman, Brian was new to this. He had been a faculty member for Crossroads for a year before, but this was the first year that he was going to be a dorm adviser. Life circumstances combined with knowing that his paycheck would look even better if he was a dorm adviser had led him to accepting the additional position, and though he was excited, he was understandably nervous as well. He knew that this position would require him to take on an extra level of responsibility and respect for rules and guidelines, but he also knew that he had to be understanding enough to get a bunch of teenage boys to like him... or at least trust him. It was going to be an interesting experience, that much he was sure of, but he didn't have much time to worry during the morning, as he really had been busy helping kids move in. He was grateful that he had been assigned a senior dorm, only because that meant that there were slightly less parents involved. Senior students were allowed to have cars on campus, and that meant that in some cases, for those who had cars, they were driving themselves onto campus and there were a few less introductions that Brian was forced through. In the girls dorm, Holly was experiencing a similar thing, but by now she knew most of her girls' parents, and for her, introductions were welcomed anyway. She was friendly and bubbly, and far too used to this to be bothered by the first-day events.

Students had no say in dorm assignments, and only found out who they were living with on move-in day, today. Most students would make it to campus by two PM, and following that, there would be a dinner barbecue held in the courtyard for all of the students. Following that, students will spend the night getting back into the rhythm of being at school, hang out with friends, or attend the optional movie on the lawn, which tonight, will be showing Ferris Bueller's Day Off. At 7 PM, the school shuttle will also be making a trip to Target, to allow students to pick up any necessities that they didn't bring to school.

Michaela had barely considered pausing to glimpse whom her roommates for the year were to be. She and her mother, Diamond, had woken up early to complete last minute errands - errands that included dropping off orders of banana pudding (and Mickey may or may not have stolen one of the larger mason jars from the house to put into her suite's fridge, but that was neither here nor there), cakes, cherry pies, and a few other desserts neighbors and friends had ordered from Diamond Delicacies online. As easily as people presumed that Michaela had spent her entire summer doing nothing but getting into trouble, she obviously was doing something other than all of that. And she damn sure was going to if Diamond had anything to say about it. So, when the two of them arrived by one in the afternoon at around the same time that a lot of other classmates had (not that Mickey wanted to be on time; she would have rather had them take their time getting their nails done and such), Michaela didn't actually give one too many fucks about who her roommates were. She just wanted to get into the suite so that the two of them could get off their feet. They had still gotten their nails done and Mickey appreciated the final product, but still. Being at Crossroads earlier when she could have prolonged Karen's foot massage during her pedicure would've been so much nicer. She didn't know if any of her roommates had been present, but Mickey surely made it her mission to get one of the rooms farthest from the door.

"I mean it, no sneaking off campus for parties this year, Michaela," her mother stated from outside of the suite while Michaela finished up the final product for her room. She had gotten the idea from a DIY she had spotted on Tumblr and since she had some extra cash from DJing over the summer, Mickey decided to splurge just a little bit. "Whatever you say," she responded dully with an exaggerated eye roll, haphazardly tossing the rest of the pillows on her bed before sliding back into her flip flops. She took only a moment to spritz her newly twisted hair with the moisturizing spray she made last night and then headed out the door, closing it behind her. When she made it outside of the bedroom, Diamond fixed her with "I-brought-you-into-this-world" nonsense stare that had Michaela lulling her head back dramatically before straightening up as the woman walked over to her. "I mean it, Arielle," Diamond decided to remind her and Michaela groaned, stomping her feet just a little at the first sign of another lecture. It wasn't like Mickey really was going to listen. They knew this. She could pretend to...for like, a day. And then they both knew she was going to jump at the first sign of something fun to do. The discussion was completely redundant and only served to add to the slowly growing grey hairs on her mother's head, but that was obviously none of Mickey's business. She was pretty sure she'd actually get the taste slapped out of her mouth if she pointed out what her mother was hiding under the burgundy highlights in her dark hair.

"I said, okay, Ma," she reiterated only for Diamond to give her the "who-the-hell-you-talking-to-with-that-tone" face. Honestly, she had all of her mom's faces down to a T, which probably spoke to how many times she had gotten each and every one, but Mickey didn't really feel guilty for them. Obviously, she was her child. She was supposed to drive her mother just a touch insane; that's what kids do. Granted, Diamond probably thought otherwise, but she also didn't have to listen to the inner workings of Michaela Vaughn's mind. She just had to, you know, fix the shit Michaela's mind and Michaela's foolishness got her in to. And Mickey herself wouldn't call anything she did foolish. It was just...you know, what she knew her mom would be saying if she knew half of the things Michaela wanted to do. "Mmmmhmmm...you okay yo ass out this door and walk me to the car. Don't make me have to send your father." Beaming brightly at the thought, Michaela wrapped an arm around Diamond's shoulders - they were the same height now, so no more of that towering over her in intimidation shit Diamond seemed to enjoy, ha! - and led her to the front door, not bothering to get Diamond to help her unload the kitchen supplies family friends had gifted her with over the years. As much as Mickey appreciated her scholarship providing a meal plan, she couldn't live anywhere where she couldn't cook, let alone, bake. Besides, saying that she was going to send Michaela's father didn't mean a thing - not when the most the two of them ever did was go out for ice cream and laugh over some of the shenanigans Michaela got into. She had to get her meddling ways from one parent, after all. "Yes, ma'am." When she closed the suite door behind her, Michaela glanced at the names before smirking, pulling out her phone to first text Jazmyn and Charlotte, and then Nat.

As the clock neared 1:15 Natalya looked herself over in the mirror, smiled, and pulled on her jacket. The day had started early for her since she had to wake up at 5am to get everything done. This year her Uncle had finally finished setting up a local branch of the family business in California, which was good for her family but bad for her. Now not only was her cousin there to 'keep her out of trouble' but her father and uncle had sent Jax down as well. On the other hand, she finally had family in California and it also meant she didn't have to hire strangers to help her move into her room. That being said, with her cousin Viktor, who was the new boss of the local branch, in charge he used his authority to torment her. Instead of just telling some of the guys to help her he told her to ask the guys herself.

Usually this wouldn't have been a problem except that the guys who had been sent down were either new recruits straight from Russia or had been lower on the food chain and therefore hadn't worked directly with her before. Sadly, no matter who your family was if you wanted something done, and were a woman, you had to earn respect. Natalya would have been all for this except right before the first day of school really wasn't the day you wanted to get into a fight. And of course all this occurred at the last minute so she hadn't hired anyone, leaving her with the options of lugging all her crap up 3 flights of stairs herself or picking a fight.

After a few choice words at Viktor and a huff she had headed towards the front area of building, a club that her cousin had just bought to bring in some starting money. It didn't take her very long to 'win respect', though it left marks that were a bit too visible for her liking. Though everyone knew she got into a good amount of fighting, especially as a member of the boxing club, Nat tried to keep her street fighting discreet, not wanting any teachers or curious students butting into her business. Sadly, when you tell someone not to hit you in the face during a fight they don't tend to listen. Out of the three guys she picked to help her out neither of the first ones hit her in the face, but the third one wasn't as smart. He had ended up with a broken arm and she had had to pick someone else, who had opted out of fighting her, but that didn't make her busted lip disappear. Natalya touched the wound gently, looking in the mirror with a frown. 'Well at least I got my room all set up. Now I can just go enjoy myself.'

Shaking off her annoyance Natalya grabbed her helmet and her cell phone, right as the latter buzzed. Reading the message she smiled, and her mind switched to her plans Saturday. She had texted Seth with the idea of a kegger for Saturday(Since Friday she had heard the Nolans were planning some ack to school party) about 2 weeks ago and Seth had agreed to help. Now in a better mood Natalya put her helmet under her arm so she could text Seth, making a mental note to come up with some kind of nickname for him when she saw his actual name was in her phone.

To: Seth
Yo I just got the confirmation from my liquor guy. Four kegs and about 30 bottles of assorted liquors. Think that's enough for the entire senior class plus the extras? Also, Sophia was asking if she should be cooking or if you still wanted to have that barbecue place cater. Oh and the pool has been cleaned and everything, should be all set! Am I forgetting something?

Hitting send Natalya set her phone and helmet down on the counter and then hopped up next to them right as Sophia came over carrying a plate of brownies. "Oooh I get to taste test right?" Before the Hispanic woman could answer Natalya had snatched two off of the plate and was biting into one. Sophia rolled her eyes and set the tray down. "It's good you'll be gone for the next two days. Otherwise I'd never get all the desserts done in time for your party. You'd eat them all!" Natalya finished the second of the two treats and licked her fingers. "Whatever, I might be a pig but I'm not that fat." Both of them chuckled as Natalya grabbed her helmet, purse and phone, dialing Viktor's number as she towards the front door. "Well, I'm heading out! Just use the card I gave you if you need to buy more supplies and call me if anything goes wrong!" Sophia waved her off and answered quickly, "Of course! Adios chère fille!"

As Natalya walked out the door her cousin picked up the phone and she spoke to him in Russian as she headed towards the garage. "Hey did the guys get back alright." Going into the garage she hit the button for the door to open and looked at her choice of rides before going with her 2015 Harley-Davidson Street 500. "No, I mean the ones I mail-ordered online. Yes! I meant the ones who helped me this morning. Fuck was that so hard to figure out..." Viktor made a comment and started to laugh, causing Natalya to pull the phone away from her face to glare at it. Shaking her head Natalya lifted the stand on her bike, keeping it upright with one hand. "I gotta go, make sure ALL the guys know that if I see them within a 5 mile radius of my school they lose a limb. Bye." Ending the call Natalya checked the time, which was 1:32, and decided to send a text to Jax. The drive was only 15 minutes or so but even if he was at school already she couldn't talk to Jax yet.

To: Jaxy
Hey how was your trip down? Hope Viktor hasn't been bossing you around too much. Anyways see you around school. Maybe we could meet up somewhere after school tomorrow and catch up? Haven't seen you since the beginning of summer break before I went to my grandparent's house.

A few seconds after she hit send her phone went off. The text was from Mickey and Nat smiled, typing out a response.

To: M&M
I'm on my way now. I'll see you at the barbecue right? It would suck without you!

Satisfied Natalya put her phone away, started her bike, and revved her bike's engine before she took off, turning out of her driveway and heading in the direction of the school.

Just as Michaela and Diamond were turning away from her suite door, little Miss Juliette Arnault came stamping around the corner and Michaela's mouth unfurled into a grin. Juliette didn't say anything, which wasn't unusual, but Mickey couldn't help her reaction upon seeing the Arnault. It wasn't exactly the Arnault she initially wanted to see, but she didn't have much time to complain because Charlotte was coming right around the corner and Mickey, involuntarily, brightened up a touch. Which was totally because she was happy to see her best friend and absolutely nothing else...not in the slightest, nope. And then, because obviously God had a sister's back for once - he was really adamant to not do so any other time for some supposedly innocuous reason - Jazmyn was coming around the corner and excluding Juliette and her mood, Michaela's crew was completed. She returned Jazz's hug without fail, giving a slight squeeze before grinning and pulling Charlotte into an embrace despite the girl declaring that she was going to help Juliette. "Leaving me so soon, babe? How are we gonna make this marriage work if you keep dippin' out on me, sweetheart?" Mickey pointedly ignored her mother when the older woman cleared her throat, not even caring at all that they were in the middle of the hallway and that anyone could hear or see them.

"Hey, girls," Diamond responded once both Charlotte and Jazz had greeted her (though Mickey would passionately argue that it was a form of her mother cock-blocking, even though there really should be no reason to cock-block since she and Charlotte were obviously just friends, so shut up feelings!), and then turned a knowing smirk Michaela's way. She raised an eyebrow, initially, at Jazmyn's almost slip, though it wasn't the first time. At least, Jazmyn seemed to remember herself. Some people - which was why her smirk turned in Michaela's direction - didn't seem to know what control was. Or, if Mickey was being honest, she genuinely just didn't care. "Since I see that she's going to be nothing but distracted now that you're both here, I'll just go. I've gotta to go start on a few orders before I go to work tonight." Diamond stated patiently and Michaela gasped in mock bewilderment, releasing Charlotte (begrudgingly) to traipse over to her mother. "Me? Distracted?" She exclaimed dramatically as Jazmyn headed inside and no doubt, Juliette and Charlotte would go in soon. "I could never forget you, sugar plum. Don't you know you're the love of my - " Chuckling, Diamond only held up a hand and said, "Save it. Go help your friends unpack. Behave." Michaela only rolled her eyes at the repeated warning, but conceded, kissing her mother on the cheek and watching the other woman walk down the hall. She didn't feel too bad about not walking with her mother to the car, not when she was bound to see her in a few days over the weekend. It probably wouldn't be for too long considering Michaela never stayed still during the weekends, but it wouldn't be the first time someone could accuse her of ditching her mother. Still grinning, she glanced down at her Galaxy S7 to see a response from Jazz and Nat, and responded to the latter.

Natalya's drive to the shool was relatively short, as she expected. Even though she had gotten caught in the lunch hour traffic rush she had just driven between a few cars and taken a few back roads. Though lane splitting was supposedly illegal no cops saw her, so as far as Natalya was concerned it was fine. When she did actually reach the school she weaved through the traffic of arriving and departing parents and students easily, the path to the senior lot being far less crowded compared to the path to the guest lot. It didn't take her long to find a parking spot, there being a decent amount of motorcycle parking spots and very few people who actually rode. Turning off her bike Natalya pulled off her helmet and shook out her hair with a huff. Setting her helmet down she pulled her phone out of her pocket and scowled when she saw she had taken 17 minutes to get there, as if the extra two minutes were a personal offence. A moment later she heard a wolf whistle from her right and turned to see Josh, a fellow rebel, and one of his friends. "Damn Nat, the summer did you well! You free later?" Him and his friend laughed as Nat ignored them and grabbed her helmet and purse. Starting towards the girls dorm Natalya rolled her eyes and called over her shoulder while she was still within hearing distance. "Hey Josh, Boxing Club meets back up next Thursday. Don't be late!" Josh swore loudly and his friend's laughter grew louder, causing Natalya to chuckle a bit herself.

Once she reached the dorm she walked, looking around the common room before walking passed the elevator and towards the stairwell. A few freshman gave her weird looks but Natalya ignored them in favor of checking her phone. As she looked through it she saw that Michaela had responded to her and that she had a facebook message. Checking the text as she started up the first flight of stairs Natalya actually laughed at Mickey's response.

To: M&M
XD Says the best cook in the senior class! Whatever, guess I shouldn't have expected more, food's always been your weakness. Lol By the way I just got here, I'm on my way up the stairs.

Natalya hit send right as the first flight of stairs ended in a platform. Turning the corner she started up the second flight, not even slightly out of breath. Clicking over she checked her FB message and a wicked grin lit up her face. Switching back over to her texting app she sent a second text to Seth, who had yet to respond to her. Albeit, after she renamed him in her phone.

To: Party Boy
I suggest just making this easier on yourself and coming to me before I come looking for you. Of course, I'd enjoy the latter much more so your choice.

Since Natalya didn't know who Ian was she decided to just keep one eye open. Reaching the top of the second flight of stairs Natalya exited the stairwell, sending a wave to Holly as she passed her, and heading towards Dorm 2A. Once she got there she walked in and headed straight for her room, wanting to avoid Juliette who she knew was supposed to be staying there as well.

Seth had fallen asleep in the car on his way to move in day. As it was senior year, his parents were over the whole dropping him off at school thing, and had sent him in a town car. It was midday, and the drive wasn't that long since Seth lives in California in the first place. It takes about 2 hours still. He hadn't even noticed his phone buzzing from various text messages. He unlocked his phone and decided reading them from most to least important. He opened Emmett's to start,
"who's free?"
which was sent to him and Nolan in a group message.
The town car began pulling into the campus, so he responded to the group saying, "Just got here, where should I find u 2?"
After being dropped off he headed over to find his room assignment, and pulled up the next text. "My boys better find me at the barbecue later! No excuses ;)"
He smiled a little to himself, Amelia was a pretty good friend of his. She was gorgeous, smart, and not afraid to get what she wants. He texted her back separately, "Of course! Actually need to talk to u if we get a chance there.". Because although most boys have fallen head over heels for the Queen, he had his eyes on her best friend. Not really sure how to handle it, nor did he know how much Nolan would mind, he figured best advice would come from Victoria, who he trusted well enough to seek help from.
Finding his room he saw no one had come yet, but so far it was two other people he didn't really know. Oh well he thought, throwing his things on a bed and sitting on the edge. Next text. "Yo I just got the confirmation from my liquor guy. Four kegs and about 30 bottles of assorted liquors. Think that's enough for the entire senior class plus the extras? Also, Sophia was asking if she should be cooking or if you still wanted to have that barbecue place cater. Oh and the pool has been cleaned and everything, should be all set! Am I forgetting something?" Natalya, along with another reading "I suggest just making this easier on yourself and coming to me before I come looking for you. Of course, I'd enjoy the latter much more so your choice."
He responded simply, "Sounds like enough to me. What's good with music?" He figured Nat would know a rebel who could be the DJ or something. Weary of her second text after the assassin list had just come out, he decided to ignore the second half of her text.

The night before his first day of school, Jax had some business to take care of. It was a simple deal, but an important one. And Jax didn't fuck things like this up. The man hadn't paid what he owed, so Jax was going to teach him a lesson so to speak.
Maybe it was a bit reckless, but Jax had a tendency to be cruel when he was on the job. He hadn't even beaten down the idiot with the intent of mugging him. Jax had beaten him down because...well, he was a idiot, and Jax liked beating down idiot, as well as every other kind of person. But this dude clearly deserved the ass-kicking. He was one of those... lowlifes. The man was in a somewhat cheap suit, hair slicked back with grease, large rings on his fingers, and kind of a creepy moustache. Classic lowlife. When he was done, Jax figured--fuck it. He was already down for the count, he might as well milk the situation for all it was worth, which he gladly did, ending up with three hundred and fifty bucks. Not bad.
He slept well that night, pretending he didn't need have a mission of watching his childhood friend like a fuckin' babysitter.
The next morning however, he felt the reality sink in. Moving into the dumb-fuck preppy rich kid asshole school full of a bunch of kids who didn't know the least bit about the real world outside of mommy and daddy's big business and who kissed who last weekend. He sure as hell didn't want to be there, but at least there was a slight bright side. He did get to see Nat again. And yet, even then, he had to pretend he didn't know her. Which he found pretty stupid, having to come to the school to watch her but not interact with her. Would've been more productive to just have him stalk her, not even enrol in this bullshit education. But, networking is nice and these kids have money to spend on party drugs. Which Jax didn't really fuck with, but enjoyed making money off of.
Instead of bringing a whole suitcase, he had one backpack. Most of his things had been shipped to Nat's place, which she had probably hidden in some closet in case of any house guests, so all he really had was a back pack, a pistol, and a good amount of cash. He took a taxi to the closest motorcycle store, and decided he'd get himself a new bike. Since he'd left his main one in New York, he figured he'd treat himself on this dreadful morning.
Arriving at Kingdom Preppy-Fucks, rode up and found a spot for his bike closer to his dorm area. He hopped off, taking his helmet off but leaving his sunglasses on, and made his way to his room, reminiscing in his glory of the night before.
His boots crunched against the loose bits of cement-sand on the clean paved sidewalk as he trudged along, chest puffed out and face fixed into the sneer of a man who knew that every living thing around him was little more than a massive annoyance--in other words, Jax walked along as he usually did, his thin yet muscular, tattooed arms, bare to the warmth of the late California summer sun, swinging carelessly at his side. Not a bad haul, considering he didn't even intend on it, he reminded himself proudly. And they always tell him 'oh Jax, you can't go around hating everybody just for existing', he mocked in his head, even though he was pretty sure nobody had ever straight up told him that. Well would ya look at that, he just got three hundred and fifty bucks out of going around hating everybody just for existing. That would shut those non-existent protesters the fuck up.
It was then that he checked his phone, which displayed a text for Nat.
"Hey how was your trip down? Hope Viktor hasn't been bossing you around too much. Anyways see you around school. Maybe we could meet up somewhere after school tomorrow and catch up? Haven't seen you since the beginning of summer break before I went to my grandparent's house.
He grimaced. He hated texting. Reluctantly he responded anyway, "It was fine. Things have been running smoothly. We can meet at your house tomorrow. I will be discrete."
He's generally a blunt texter, and comes off a bit like that when he speaks as well, depending on the situation.
Finding his room, he entered hearing two other voices in one of the bedrooms, so he passed it without glancing in, already knowing he probably wouldn't be interested in knowing them, and took an empty bedroom, shutting the door behind him. Looking out his window he saw people gathering for a "barbecue". He'd gotten information on this event and one for the game assassin. Which he didn't plan on participating in. He didn't even see it being an issue because it was generally known he was the son of a hierarchy mob member, and most people would keep their distance. Little did he know his killer is one of the few people who isn't afraid of him.

β€œOh no! What if they catch me in my PokΓ©mon footy jammies!”

Ian could not help but flush. He had seen his friend in her Pokemon pajamas. They were a few sizes too small and highlighted certain areas. Thankfully, she never noticed him checking her out the few times he had seen her in them. He didn't think he'd be able to live it down if she did. Before he could respond, he heard both their phones go off simultaneously. When he heard Illy's ringtone, he raised an eyebrow at her with a smirk.

β€œOh dear, it looks like I have to come up with a plan of attack. So, uh, gotta go. Ian, text me”

"Of course. See you later, " Ian told her with a grin before checking his own list. He couldn't help but laugh. Her target was standing right beside him. He turned to Nolan with a slight smirk.

"I'd watch my back if I were you. Your assassin knows kung fu."

As he listened to Nolan speak, he nodded in understanding. Last minute changes were typical for Crossroads. He blinked in surprise at the fact that he was inviting him to his party, but he grinned anyway.

"I will have to give them your name then. Is it possible for me to bring a friend? I've been meaning to make Illiana go to one of these things," he told him with a slight grin. He checked his phone. Natalya huh? He hardly knew the girl. It would be tough to take her down if he decided to play the game. He shook his head.

"So, on a scale of one to ten, how hard do you think it is to sneak up on Natalya?"

Noah, however, seemed to have his mind on other things and left. With a sigh, Ian realized he was left to his own devices.

"Come on, Ian, you're smart. Think of something.

{Collaboration with Sophiex}
"Yeah, Charlotte's across the hall," Juliette acknowledged, doing her best to resist making that come out as a grumble. She was trying to lose the bad mood that she was in, she really was, and though seeing Tori made that easier, being reminded of her horrible rooming situation didn't. "I got the worst roommates I could possibly get. It makes no sense that they put Charlotte in this room, and me in that room, but I'm with Jazmyn Clarke, Michaela Vaughn, and Natalya Volkova. AKA, the perfect group of people to make me want to kill myself." She followed Victoria into the suite, pleased that no one else was here. Illiana was no prize either, but Juliette actually liked Amelia, so she was sure that Victoria (and Charlotte) had gotten the better room assignment, at least compared to her. It only aided in her seemingly always present idea of the world being out to get her.

Victoria had not been at the country club the night of Juliette's kiss with Jazmyn, but she had heard about it. Thankfully, it had come from Juliette herself, and no one else in addition to that, which meant that it was still a secret. Had anyone outside of Juliette, Jazmyn, and Jazmyn's immediate group of friends known, than Victoria would have also heard about it from countless other A-listers and B-list wannabes who thought the gossip would win them a spot on her good side. Like Charlotte, Victoria had been quick to villify Jazmyn for the encounter, even though Juliette had never specifically expressed that she disliked, or had even objected to the kiss. Victoria didn't consider herself to be homophobic, but she wasn't as tolerant as she liked to think that she was. It wasn't so much the idea of Juliette kissing a girl that bothered her, but how it had apparently went down. For one, kissing a rebel was intolerable in its own right, and then beyond that, doing it in a spur of the moment, drunken and thoughtless way, made Victoria feel like it was embarrassing and tacky. She wanted to believe that Juliette had been sloppy drunk during it, and that Jazmyn was some sex-crazed social climber who took advantage of Juliette, not that Juliette had purposely done something that Tori felt was harmful to her reputation. With that in mind, she wasn't pleased to hear that Juliette was stuck rooming with Jazmyn, especially when two other rebels were also included in the suite. Michaela Vaughn was the sheer definition of trouble, and Victoria almost trusted her less than Jazmyn. It might have been surprising, judging on appearances alone, but Natalya was the one out of the three that Victoria actually trusted the most, and just before she received her Facebook group notification, she sent the blonde rebel a text message.

To: Natalya
Hey Nat. I hope your summer was fun :). I heard Juliette is one of your roommates this year?

After their sophomore year ended, and Victoria and Natalya were no longer roommates, they lost that shared need to interaction, and their friendship fizzled out on that level. However, they were still friendly enough in public, so Victoria didn't feel weird for starting up a conversation with Natalya out of the blue, since she felt it would be more appropriate to approach her need for Natalya to be tolerant of Juliette in a more casual and civil manner, than just demanding she do so. She didn't bother telling Juliette that she was doing this, mostly because she didn't want Juliette to get more worked up over who she was rooming with, than she already seemed to be. "It can't be that bad, Jules! If anything, you can sleepover here whenever you want, but I'm sure it'll all work out. It always does, right? And worse comes to worse, you tell Holly that Jazmyn's sexually harassing you. You could probably add Michaela into that complaint too, I'm sure they'd easily believe you, and we could rid the school of those two nuisances that easily." That wasn't the most realistic solution to the problem, but halfway through her comments, Victoria's attention had shifted from Juliette, and to the Facebook message she received. Her target was Ian Butler, someone who she was familiar with on a matching the name to a face basis, but not in a personal sense. He would be an easy target, she told herself, so she relaxed at that, a small smile coming to her face, before her phone beeped with a message from Nolan, and then one in the group chat from Emmett. Though Nolan appeared to be the one being helpful, she left his unanswered, and instead, only texted Emmett back, but in a private text, rather than in the group.

To: Emmett
Actually, if our friendship is important to you, you better stay away from me at the barbecue Image At least as long as you have a post it in your hand

But seriously, you're not allowed to get me Image Not until we're the only two left!

"I have Ian Butler, and your brother claims that Emmett has me. Who do you have?" she asked Juliette, as she sat down on the couch in the common area of her suite, sliding her sandals off and curling her legs up onto the space beside her. The barbecue would probably be starting soon, and Victoria was hungry, but she wasn't that hungry where she wanted to be the first to show up... at least not until she got confirmation that Emmett wasn't going to try anything while she was innocently getting food.

"Emmett," Juliette said, and that was news to her too, because she was only just reading her Assassin assignment right then as she spoke. Emmett was an A-lister like her, so finding him wasn't going to be as challenging as she thought Victoria's assignment of Ian would be, but that didn't mean that she didn't want help in doing it. "You know Emmett would take a bullet for you. Help me trap him! Tell him you're choking and need mouth-to-mouth or something, and then when he comes racing up here, I'll get him out!" As dramatic and emotional as Juliette could be, she was just as easily excitable, and at first glance, this game sounded like just what she needed to get her mind off of the stress, and on to the fun. She would probably lose the thrill of it in a few hours, if she even lasted that long, so she wasn't aiming to win, but she also didn't want to lose without at least eliminating one person. That would just be embarrassing, she thought, especially if Victoria seemed like she was interested in playing.

By the time Charlotte had made it inside of Michaela's room, Mickey was already pulling out one of her folded, thick towels from the top shelf of her closet. The top shelf was used for storage like for the plastic casing her comforter came in, large trash bags, and towels and wash cloths along with a few extra toiletries. When the brunette was inside, Michaela had the towel draped over her left arm and turned to offer a silent raised eyebrow at Charlotte's initial question over the bathroom situation. While she could understand Charlotte's desire to acquiesce to Juliette and do whatever it took, as her sister, to make her comfortable so that Charlotte would not have to hear her mouth, Mickey had no such sensibilities. In fact, it probably still said something about her lack of self-preservation, not particularly caring about every action that she took, but she saw it as just not being in the mood. Could she possibly abstain from using both restrooms to keep Juliette Arnault from fumbling around with her red-faced anger/embarrassment? Quite possibly. Contrary to popular belief, Michaela actually did know how to believe in boundaries and adhere to them. At the same time, she also just didn't care.

"I guess," she drawled, voice ever-so-slightly lilting as she dragged out the pronunciation of the "e" in "guess." "I'm sure I can find some impossible way to resist the scintillating allure of the Arnault family charm...with the right distraction, of course." On that note, Mickey settled a rather flirtatious smile on Charlotte's sitting form, sauntering over to the brunette. While she probably should refrain from pushing a little hard in her flirtations in one day on her friend, Michaela wasn't impulsive for nothing. So, with barely a thought on stopping, Michaela continued with the rather suggestive smirk on her face, maintaining eye contact with Charlotte as she bent at her midsection and reached (and reaching around the girl was really unnecessary, but it was all about teasing with the infinitesimal space between them) around Charlotte to dig her hand under her mountain of pillows to find the pencil box she had kept purposefully in hiding beneath them. "Hmmm...what's wrong, Lottie," she asked lowly, voice just slightly (again, unnecessarily) breathy as her hand still searched, finger grazing the hard surface of the pencil box. "Not enough company for you?" It was only a second later that the suggestiveness on her face morphed back into childish glee as Michaela giggled, a bit amused by her own antics, and she finally grabbed the pencil box she honestly could have had in her grasp seconds ago. A moment later, she was out of Charlotte's air and standing straight again, opening the pink box in her hands. "But in all honesty, I don't know. Knowing Lia, she's either higher than a kite in the middle of a shopping spree at the Beverly Hills Center Mall or nursing a hangover. Nat should be on campus, though." She stated the last part on a nonchalant shrug, setting down her small bowl to have her hands free. With one less thing in her hand and the box open, Michaela sent a text to Natalya.

To: Nat
Boutta smoke 1 w/ Lottie. U in?

As Natalya shut her door behind her she tossed her helmet and purse onto her bed and collapsed next to them with a huff. Staring at her ceiling Natalya realized that she had yet to speak to Amelia since she had arrived in California. Pulling out her phone she clicked over to her messenger app and was about to type out a text to Amelia when her phone chimed and Jax's message popped up on her screen. Clicking over to it Natalya read it over and then started typing out a response only for her phone to chime again. "Well aren't I popular..." Natalya muttered to herself as she saw the text was from the queen bee herself.

To: Jaxy
Jax no one is going to be coming over to my house after the first day of school. My friends only come over on the weekends so you can just walk in the from door. Make sure you're nice to Sophia if you get there before me, she's the housekeeper.

To: My Bitch
Lia wtf you at? I haven't heard from you at all since I got back. Bout to go smoke with Mickey and Lottie. What about you?

To: M&M
Fuck yeah, That's exactly what I need right now.

To: Queenie
Heh, yeah. If only for your sake I won't start anything. But if she decides to open her mouth and start something, I'll finish it.
Oh, by the way Seth and me have a kegger planned for Saturday. I'm sure he's already spread the word among the A-Listers but if not you and Julie can are invited. It's a pool party so bring a bathing suit.

Natalya shoved herself up after she sent the last text and then grabbed her purse. Looking around her room she let a small smile cross her features. She had been able to make the room quite personalized. Everything but the bed had been removed and Natalya had brought all her own things, including an entertainment system, amps, and decorations. Satisfied with observation of the room she walked out and headed out, shutting the door behind her. Just as she shut the door her phone chimed and she let out a huff. Pulling her phone back out she saw that Seth had responded and a wicked grin came onto her face.

To: Party Boy
Okay, guess I'm coming for you. Btw, you didn't answer my question. Is Sophia cooking or did you book the catering? Oh and I think Mickey might have a friend who can DJ for us. She has connections with the all the best of the local guys.

Natalya pressed send and then muted her phone, not wanting to have to listen to all the responses coming in. Looking around she realized that she didn't know what room Mickey and Charlotte were in and called out the first thing that popped into her head. "Marco!" Pausing Nat cocked her head to the side and listened for a response.

Lighter finally in her hand once the pink pencil box was on the desk and the towel to go at the foot of the door draped over an arm, Mickey was ready to set shit ablaze. She got a roll-up from her wallet and shimmied her hips so that the small container fell back into her pocket with ease. "Oh come on," Michaela faux-whined, ignoring Charlotte's not very serious complaint to make sure that her phone was on the desk. She didn't feel like digging it out once they started and in all honesty, now that it was away from her, she knew she wouldn't feel inclined to pick it up again until they decide to head down to the barbecue. "Don't you know you're my favorite?" She asked teasingly, thumb having to catch on the trigger of the lighter before the single flame came to life. For only a second, Michaela let it use up some of the fuel, watching the flame with an absentminded fascination, before bringing the end of the roll-up to the fire. It caught and before long, the stronger scent of burning marijuana swam up to her nostrils.

Michaela perked up in interest when Charlotte decided to admit to having Mickey as her target. Oh, really now, she thought to herself and raised an eyebrow at the Arnault, smirking lightly as she allowed the flame to die out on the lighter and then handed the stick to Charlotte. She allowed their fingers to brush, fleetingly, as she teased, "You say it like you don't already know I like it rough, babe." Giggling on a carefree wink at her friend, Michaela hurried to put everything back into their proper hiding places; the lighter went back into the pencil box that went back under the pillows, and her wallet and the remaining roll-ups were in her pocket hidden behind credit cards and old receipts. She had heard her phone go off a second prior, but before she could even unlock the screen, there was a knock and a familiar voice resounding. "Polo!" Mickey called enthusiastically and skipped over to the door, opening it up to exclaim, "The only roomie that I love!" loud enough so that Jazmyn could possibly hear from her vantage point. Quickly, though, Mickey pulled Natalya inside and closed the door behind her, locking it. "Remember, Arnault, puff, puff, pass. Always the rules." She had to say, as if Charlotte would ever forget, as she pressed the towel into the bottom of the door, setting it on the floor so that its thickness could absorb the scent before it reached outside.

"Those rules might apply to you common folk," Charlotte smirked, though her eyelids were batting in an innocent manner, "But you know my type are entitled to the puff, puff, puff, pass rule," she said, not even sure herself, what she exactly meant by the reference to her type, versus Michaela's. In part, she was probably alluding to how for the moment, she was the cat and Michaela was the mouse in this fun little game of Assassin, so she felt like she had the power to make up her own rules without opposition. Additionally, when she was around her friends, particularly when Jazmyn was around, Charlotte ensued her fair share of teasing about being more of a spoiled rich kid than she liked to admit. She didn't act in a manner that would allow one to perceive her as such, and at least compared to her sister, she was fairly humble and down to earth, but there were some mannerisms that she had that were just instilled in her because of her upbringing and privilege that were hard to break. She disliked when her friends teased her about it because she genuinely didn't believe that there was any truth in that, so sometimes, her way of combating it was to use those lines to her advantage, in an attempt to show them sarcastically, how they weren't true.

She inhaled her second hit while Michaela headed over to the door and before she could mentally attach the shout from outside of the room to Nat's face, the girl was being pulled into the room by Mickey. She exhaled a cloud of smoke before looking to Natalya and offering a smile accompanied by a "Hey, Nat," greeting. She allowed herself that third hit from the joint then, despite knowing that it was against all good stoner manners, before extending her arm with the joint in her hand, to whichever girl wanted to go at it next. When her hand became empty, she slid off of the edge of Makayla's bed and positioned herself on the floor, leaning back to rest some of her weight on one of her hands, while the other hand toyed with her bottom lip absentmindedly. "Who did you get in the game?" she asked the blonde, though her gaze quickly switched over to Michaela as her expression grew into a smile at the remembrance that she had her, and could spring on her at any moment's notice...at least once she got her hands on some post-it notes. "And what about you, my sweet little target?" she said, tilting her head with playful curiosity. "Who am I going to have to go after, after I take you out?"

Hell that was close, way closer to Ian than she had ever expected to get. What was she thinking? What if he got grossed out, or hated her because she was acting like some horny love sick school girl? She groaned internally and tried to forget the butterflies she had gotten from being so close to her friend.

"Hold that thought" Illiana said as she whipped out her phone and typed up a quick message.

To: Charlotte

Hey girl, you cool with Nat? Ian got her and I need to track her down without letting it on. By the by, you headed to the BBQ? Got a lot to catch up on... ;)

Illiana glanced at Ian with a grin.

"Natalya... I don't really know her or where she is. Also, she looks like she can kick my ass,You got Nolan, right?" Ian asked. Illiana's grin widened as she slung an arm around his shoulders and gave him a half assed side hug.

"Dont worry baby ill protect you from the big bad Natalya" She said with a laugh as she let go of him and stretched. The sun was hanging low in the sky, it had to be about time to go to the barbique.

"Time to get this party started, I need to hunt down Nolan and take him out of the game. Might piss the pretty boy off but...that's kinda my thing isn't it?" She said with a laugh as she linked her arm in his and tugged him toward the door.

"Anywho...I'm getting Hangry and you wouldnt like me when im hangry" She said with a laugh as she started towards where the BBQ was to be held.

Ian frowned slightly as he finished dressing. What exactly did he want to happen? For her to hear a love confession from someone she had known since she was six and make out and not necessarily in that order? He needed to get a hold of himself.

"Dont worry baby ill protect you from the big bad Natalya"

He had to laugh at that even as she gave him a lazy hug. She was such a dork sometimes, not that he was one to talk. He grinned at her.

"My hero."

"Time to get this party started, I need to hunt down Nolan and take him out of the game. Might piss the pretty boy off but...that's kinda my thing isn't it? Anywho...I'm getting Hangry and you wouldnt like me when im hangry"

"What we're going to ambush them at the barbeque? Somehow, I don't think the game is worth it. We're not really going to win anything are we?" he asked with a shrug. He didn't mind skipping the assassin thing unless, of course, whoever had him as a target attacked him. Not playing was one thing. Losing was quite another.

Mickey rolled her eyes at Charlotte's statement about smoking, rising back to her feet once the towel was in place and dusting off her hands as if she had done some actual work. Which she didn't, but she simply felt like performing the action. Turning back to the other two girls, Mickey was abraded by the smoke that was beginning to permeate the air of the closed in space, idly thinking about the shapes one could form with the smoke. She only truly did it once she was high or if they were at a hookah bar, or even at a party, but Mickey idly wondered if she could get away with not going to the barbecue in favor of simply munching on snacks and making shapes with smoke. As social as she could be, marijuana could actually be enough temptation to not be around people and get on their nerves, as others would say that she does. However, all it took was taking the joint from Charlotte - really, looking at Charlotte - and Michaela's mind was made up. She couldn't spoil her hunter's game, after all. It made her smirk before she took a pull, closing her eyes for just a moment as she took it all in.

When she opened her eyes again on what was supposed to be an exhalation of smoke, Michaela's throat decided to be the asshole that it was and noped out of that entire situation. Which resulted in her choking because - why? It was bad enough that in close quarters, Mickey could become faintly distracted by Charlotte's lips without her meddling with. It was annoying, really. There she could be, being a very good friend - a friend who was not pining after one of her best friends, no she was not. And then sure, they looked like she could bounce a quarter off those suckers and very bitable (was that even a word?), but she had composure. Grace, even, though she was pretty sure those frightfully knowing smirks shot her way from Jazmyn were a testament against her lack of grace. But then Charlotte has to go and mess with them her damn self as if she doesn't know that that's a distraction for the common folk? Or was it just Mickey? She couldn't tell because, well, she did just start choking and it felt like she was gonna cough up a lung if she didn't set it ablaze. "I'm good," she said at some point when she finally managed to pull it together and while, yes, Mickey surely did want that next puff for before she passed, she thought it was a sign from God that she had obviously taken her flirations too far earlier and that this was her punishment. Which she didn't feel too guilty for, but she wasn't gonna tell Charlotte how much of a tease she was. Mostly because she was pretty sure Charlotte wouldn't even know what she did that would be classified as teasing. Which meant Mickey had to explain and, there were reasons why she occasionally decided to nope the fuck out of things before her mind could fully wrap around them. So, she passed the joint right along to Natalya. Besides, it wasn't like she didn't have more.

"And don't get too cocky, Arnault," she stated once her throat didn't feel like it was on fire. Mickey threw herself on the bed, not bothering to explain what had just happened and hoping that the others followed with that. She wasn't going to answer anyway, but still. Catching on to body cues would assist in not being disappointed when she didn't open her mouth or changed the topic. She fell on the soft comforter and mesh of pillows and then used her left arm as a means to hold her head up, elbow lost but finding grounding amongst the pillows and her head resting on her upright hand. The rest of her body was laying on her left side quite comfortably, and she had to tuck one of the free twists behind her right ear to keep it out of her face. She turned to Charlotte a light smirk as she continued, "How do you know that I'm just gonna keel over for you?"

Nataya only had to wait a moment for a response to her call. "Polo!" Smiling the blonde walked towards the room that the call had come from, reaching it just as Mickey threw open the door. "The only roomie that I love!" Natalya rolled her eyes but smirked, raising an eyebrow as she was yanked into the room. "Hey, Nat." Looking over Natalya's eyes landed on Charlotte and a lazy smile replaced the smirk. "Hey Charlie." As Charlotte took a hit from the joint Mickey rushed to push a towel into the crack at the bottom of the door. Walking over to the bed, Natalya flopped down onto it a moment after Charlotte slid down and sat on the floor. Tossing her stuff aside Natalya let out a sigh before looking over, watching as Mickey took the joint from the Arnault. "Who did you get in the game?" Natalya chuckled and a wicked gleam entered her eyes. "I got Seth, poor party boy. He doesn't know what he's in for." As she spoke Natalya paused to lick the wound on her lip, making the second statement seem way more sexual then it was. "And what about you, my sweet little target? Who am I going to have to go after, after I take you out?" Hearing that Charlotte's target was Mickey made Natalya perk up with intrest. Turning to look at the other two, Natalya burst out laughing when Mickey choked. A few moments passed as Mickey fought to get her breathing under control. "You know, it might only be weed but you can't breath it Mick." Natalya couldn't tell if her friend was just ignoring her or hadn't heard her over the sound of her own coughing but after announcing she had recovered she passed the joint over.

Taking a hit Natalya smiled, Mickey always managed to find good weed. Maybe it was just her connections that allowed her to track down the best but it still was something Natalya could appreciate. Getting up off the bed Natalya went to where she had dropped her purse as she had walked in. "And don't get too cocky, Arnault, How do you know that I'm just gonna keel over for you?" Mickey made the statement as she got comfortable and right then Natalya tossed a half a pad of sticky notes into Charlotte's lap, smirking as she took her second hit. The fact that she had the sticky notes had been a coincidence and honestly giving ammo to a potential enemy wasn't the best idea but she was pretty sure the results would be worth it.

Charlotte didn't know Seth personally, so she only nodded thoughtfully when Natalya explained that she had him. He was good friends with her brother Nolan, and he and Juliette seemed to get along comfortably as well, but that was all that Charlotte knew him as - a friend of her siblings'. She figured that Natalya could have a samurai warrior and still somehow manage to get them out, so Charlotte didn't think that even the athletic boy could be too much of a challenge for her. She watched the joint move from Michaela to Natalya, doing her best to be patient to wait for her turn. She should have been used to the whole "passing the joint" routine by now, since her friends did it all too frequently, but there was nothing like sneaking off campus to her family's home on the weekend and lighting up her bong all by herself. Luckily for Charlotte, even being a fairly frequent smoker, she still had a pretty low tolerance to marijuana. While it was easy for her to get the high initially though, she did tend to lose it faster than other people. While a lot of people tended to remain in that zone for a couple of hours, it was more common for Charlotte to slip out of her high after forty-five minutes or an hour. She would take that, though, over having to smoke a lot of weed initially just to get the high.

When Michaela's coughing fit ended (which had only resulted in laughter from Charlotte), she watched the girl situate herself on the bed. "I don't need you to 'keel over' for me," she combated, smiling just enough that she had to bite her bottom lip to keep from laughing as she continued to respond teasingly. "I have all night, and considering how obsessed you are from me, I'm sure you'll be attached to my hip for long enough for me to catch you slipping." She raised the sticky notes that Natalya had just tossed to her and waved them in the air. "And when you let that guard down, all I'll need is a half a second to move on to my next kill, which you've still failed to tell me the name of." When she felt like all of eternity had passed, she raised both of her hands upwards, wiggling them in Nat's direction to signal that she was reaching for the joint that she felt like should have been passed to her eons ago - even if it was quite the exaggeration. "I only need like, two more hits and then the rest of this baby can be for the two of you. I'm already in my cheeseburgers and extra fries mood."

"Traitor," Michaela muttered the second the wad of sticky notes landed in Charlotte's lap and no, she was totally not pouting at Natalya for being the traitorous friend that she was. She had half the mind to think of a way to get Seth to skillfully hide from the other Rebel just for not be a good friend. Ungrateful heifer, she mentally sniped, though Mickey was only jesting both in real time and in her head. See if I do shit for her any time soon. Not that Mickey couldn't have just thrown herself off of her bed and run out of the room. It wasn't an impossible task. At the same time, other than the lure of free food at the barbecue, Michaela knew herself and she could be lazy. If it wasn't for the idea of sneaking up on Jax, which was all too thrilling despite the fear people outside of school seemed to already possess for the new guy, she honestly wouldn't care too much about the game. The image of being chased - the thrill of it - had aroused her curiosity and Charlotte admitting that Mickey was her target was enough for her to want to make this fun. To enjoy it.

"Oh, please! Me obsessed with you?" She had to ask incredulously, turning her attention back to the Arnault. "You, ma'am, couldn't be more in love with me if you tried. Why else are you so pressed that I have a big ol' target sign on my back, all for you?" She couldn't help but press teasingly, wiggling her eyebrows suggestively at the insinuation towards Charlotte having some sort of possessive thrill at being able to say Michaela was her target. Which was honestly wishful thinking on Mickey's part, but she was nowhere near going to verbalize that thought. She was not drunk, high or indisposed enough to ever utter those words. "'Sides, before you have your wicked way with me, I need to get my hands on my guy. Let me get him and then I'm all yours, baby." Mickey hadn't really plotted the how in her getting Jax, simply because banana pudding had been a very distracting item and a very vital part of her food group, which meant all attention (excitement towards "taming" Charlotte aside) had to be given to eating every last morsel. Now that the girls were thinking of their targets - with Charlotte dangerously close enough to just tag Mickey now if she really wanted - she couldn't help but think about what she was going to do.

A few moments later, when the joint was in Charlotte's grasp, Mickey turned her head to Natalya and grinned. "More importantly, where've you been all summer, Nat? I barely even saw you," she stated before gesturing towards Charlotte while saying, "This one stays in my back pocket, but I barely got to your pretty face, Tats."

When Charlotte didn't immediately leap at Mickey Natalya almost sighed in disappointment, the only thing stopping her being that she wasn't one to waste a hit. "Traitor" Natalya chuckled a bit and rolled her eyes. As Mickey and Charlotte teased and threatened each other some more Natalya searched one handed through her bag, looking up as Charlotte spoke. "I only need like, two more hits and then the rest of this baby can be for the two of you. I'm already in my cheeseburgers and extra fries mood." "Oh shit, sorry." Dropping her bag Natalya stepped over and placed the joint into her waiting hand before turning back and picking up her purse. "More importantly, where've you been all summer, Nat? I barely even saw you. This one stays in my back pocket, but I barely got to your pretty face, Tats." As Natalya searched through the purse, which was taking way too long considering it wasn't huge, she answered with a frown. "Oh , you know how it is. I went back to New York, spent a week with my dad, and then flew to Italy. Spent almost the whole break with them. Some really hot guys in Italy. Natalya looked up and smirked at Mickey, wiggling her eyebrows a bit. "And it definitely helps when your grandparents own a vineyard. I think all three guys I spent time with were over 22 years old. Anyways two weeks ago I flew back to New York, spent some more time with my dad and whatnot. I only just got back to California the day before yesterday."

Natalya smiled as her hand landed on what it was looking for and, standing, she tossed a bag into Mickey's lap. "Oh yeah, and I got you 3 ounces of weed from my New York guy. Really good shit. Half of it is a gift from a friend but the other half is payment for you using your connections to get me a good Dj for the party this weekend?" Natalya posed the last part as a question, even though the thousand dollars worth of weed in her friend's lap probably guaranteed that and a few other favors. While usually she wouldn't be so liberal with her own drugs, booking a good Dj in California on such short notice took a lot more than a a few grand when you didn't have connections. That and the fact that her Uncle had given her unlimited access to the weed that Viktor was moving as long as she sold just as much as she took for herself made her care a little less. "I'll pay the Dj of course I just need you to find someone willing to do it such short notice. And the entire Senior Class is coming, plus some, so they need to be good. I can count on you right?"

Once Charlotte took her final two hits, she returned the joint to Michaela, and was now on her feet for good. She easily could have stuck around for another couple of minutes to allow the other two girls to reach their optimal levels of high too, but she wasn't in the mood too. It wasn't that she was feeling uptight or not relaxed, because she was completely content and comfortable, but she was hungry, and she knew that if she remained in the room with the girls who were still smoking, she would just want to smoke more. Plus, with what was coming out of Michaela's mouth, she knew that, additionally, if she stuck around for much longer, she would say something that she would regret. And she wished that "regret" would come in the form of wishing that she hadn't said something mean or harsh, but it wouldn't have been that kind of regret. It would have been the kind that would have come from Charlotte admitting that maybe she wouldn't mind being in love with Michaela, or that since she liked her oh so much, that she would be compliant and let Michaela take out her target first, as she desired, before taking her out. "You have until I finish eating to find whoever your guy is before I come for you," Charlotte warned playfully, waving Natalya's post-it notes in the air.

"And you better be careful with that," she said, nodding towards the bag of weed Natalya had thrown to her. It wasn't that Charlotte didn't trust Nat, because they truly were friends, but she just thought... well, Natalya could be extreme at times. And not always in the good way. She seemed to think that she was immune from a lot of laws and rules, and just as Charlotte had learned, no amount of money would make you exempt from them in a lot of situations. Crossroads was one of those places where your parents couldn't buy your way out of trouble. If you committed an infraction, you would be expelled just as quickly as the scholarship student whose single mother worked the register at Burger King. Obviously, it would have been easier for all of the kids in the room right now, if the rules didn't work that way, but it was surprisingly nice to go to a school where money wasn't favored over morals. It was a good way to teach students to act in the real world, for when they graduated. "I wouldn't wanna be caught dead with that on this campus, and I may have shared a womb with her, but I refuse to accept responsibility for my sister getting your ass expelled because you're such a stoner," she said, still teasing (especially given how she was the one who initiated this whole smoking session), but knowing that there was more truth in the possibility of her words than she wanted to admit. Even taking Juliette out of the equation, Charlotte would have felt uneasy about carrying any amount of weed that legally would have surpassed the "personal use" quantity, especially on a school's grounds. She was a rebel, and she was reckless and carefree and destructive in many senses, but she was also intelligent, and maybe too sober to see any good coming out of Mickey holding on to that much weed. Given her sister's three roommates, Charlotte wouldn't have been surprised if Juliette got a second hand high on the regular, this year. "So don't let administration take you out before I can, kay?" she said, doing her best not to mess up the towel's placement the door too badly as she exited the room.

"Jazzy Jaz!" Charlotte sang once she was out of Michaela's bedroom. "I'm going down to eat. Come find me when you stop being a neurotic perfectionist about your room!" That description seemed like the only way to explain why Jazmyn would skip out on smoking, and though Charlotte had originally already been walking towards the main door of the dormitory as she said that, she stopped midway and did an about-face, as she turned into Juliette's bedroom. She only remained in her sister's room for a few seconds, just long enough to steal some of her perfume in an attempt to mask the odor of marijuana that was now on her, before finally leaving and heading down to the barbecue. She responded to Illiana's text on the way, saying, "Haha yeahhhh should be a fun year! I was actually just with Nat, but I'm heading to the barbecue on my own now. If you guys find me, come sit! I'm sure her and Mickey will sit down too when they come and he can try then!".
