Zachary is a very bitter person, She is always outwardly showing anger and resentment at the way her life turned out to everyone around her. She does this through sarcastic one liners and sometimes uncalled for barbed comments at people. She is specifically angry and mean towards men. Though mostly her anger and resentment hide her hurt at the way the world has treated her, and how deep down she has many wounds yet to heal. Though she struggles with expressing herself at all. No matter her intentions, she can never seem to say how she truly feels. Her actions always conflicting with her inner desires.

Zachary is incredibly stubborn and isn't one to just let things go. She knows this is her biggest flaw but she doesn't care to fix it. If she is slighted, no matter how small, she will not forgive and forget. She will get her revenge and then hold it against them for the rest of their days. She is also not one to move on from an argument, once she has her idea or opinions she wont let them go or see anyone else's way. In her mind she is always right. Which means everyone else is wrong, doubly if they are a male, and she won't rest until they know it.

Despite her more than rough around the edges persona. There are times Zachary is more than an angry stubborn person. She is incredibly passionate in art, specifically painting. Whenever she is painting or listening to music she is incredibly good at blocking out the rest of the world. It is one of the only times that her soul can be at peace and she comes across calm and sincere.

HISTORY

Image
Image

Zachary was born a normal human with no knowledge off all the supernatural things laying just beyond her reality. She was sweeter and kinder back then. It was before the world screwed her over and showed her all its ugly dark parts. Though her father walked out on her family when she was young causing her initial distaste towards men. In in her late teen years that she fell into a friendship with two girls, Delia and Melanie. They weren't like the most popular girls around but they got invited to all the parties and they weren't particularly nice girls. Melanie was the worst of the three though, she was very flighty and was always encouraging Delia and Zachary to break more rules.

It was just after it was just before Zachary turned twenty that Melanie starting seeing a guy, though she wouldn't tall anyone who it was. Of course it came out later that is was a much older man from around town, who was engaged to another woman. Despite Zachary and Delia's reservations, Melanie continued sleeping with him, claiming it was true love. Unfortunately the woman he was engage to was actually a necromancer, and she found out about Melanie and her fiancΓ©, she put a curse on Melanie, turning her into what would later be described as a Gorgon. Though she completely forgave her fiancΓ© and they went only to be married that spring. Zachary and Delia when they found out what had become of Melanie went to the necromancer in order to ask her to release the curse of Melanie. Though when they found her, they two were, from Zachary's perspective a bit unfairly, turned to Gorgons.

Hence began the next 340 years of Zachary's less than perfect life. Her and Delia stayed friends, though not without their decade long fights, but Zachary could never find it in her to forgive Melanie, always blaming her for the whole Gorgon thing. Zachary moved a round a lot, taking out her frustrations on anyone who treated her wrongly, turning them to stone. A few years back though, everything changed when Melanie was killed off by a dark hunter. If they could get Melanie, were Zachary and Delia next?

It has been over 50 years since the Humans first found about our kind. They call us the Dark Ones or Dark Creatures, or some stupid variation of "Dark" something. Sure there were always some humans in secret that knew about our kind, and as long as we've been around there have also been hunters. But this was different, now the whole world knew. All the humans, every country and politician put aside their petty differences to focus on the "new" threat... all of us. For them, it was a great time of international peace. But the war was not over. Instead of focusing their aggression against each other, it was now turned full force towards us.

Of course us Dark Creatures, being the stubborn pains in the asses we are, we didn't think anything of it at first. We just thought hey, now I can kill and do whatever the hell I want, when I want because the world already knows about me. But it wasn't that simple. We underestimated the Humans. They're smarter than we give them credit for. They started creating academies to train hunters and would capture us... experiment on us. For 40 years we waged in a non stop battle, but we were winning. We had the upper hand. That was until they created Dark Metal.

Dark Metal is a synthetic alloy engineered by a group of hand picked scientists from across the globe. This metal has properties in it that makes it capable to harm, injure and even kill any and all Dark Creatures. It was the new age of technology they called it. A way to finally end the war. Well... It worked. In no time with the newly trained masses of hunters and Dark Metal, our numbers began to shrink rapidly. Within the last decade our numbers have decreased to a fraction of their glory. And with no choice, the leaders of every surviving species decided to consolidate their numbers for their best chance at survival.

So here we are, Las Vegas... Sin city. The home of the lowest of the low. What better place to try and rebuild the darkness then where the darkness thrives in everyone.

"Glorious smog." Luca said with disgust as he exited the taxi onto the strip in the center of Vegas. He turned to look towards his sister as he held the door open for her while she slid across the back seat and stepped out onto the sidewalk. After she exited the cab, he leaned back in to hand the driver some cash then grabbed Georgy's backpack she forgot on the floor. Once the car drove off he stepped up beside his sister that was in awe of the city. He scoffed before holding out the backpack towards her "What would you do without me?" She barely paid him any attention, pushing his hand out of her way as she stepped forward, leaning against a parking meter. What the hell is so fascinating about this place? Luca sighed in aggravation, dropping the bag at her feet, "Look Georgy I'm not your God damn pack mule!"

That was what broke her silence, causing her to spin around and look at him with a menacing grin, "Ah, come on! You don't want to change into a mule for me? If you asked nicely I'd even let you carry me around too." Luca wasn't amused, he stared at her with pursed lips and his arms crossed over his chest, "Ya done?" He nodded his head in the direction they needed to head in. He didn't wait for her while she grabbed the backpack, throwing it over her shoulder before chasing after him. "Luca!" She shouted after him, causing him to slow down slightly before she caught up. "Look I just want to get there, ok?" Georgy groaned at him, "What's your deal? This place is awesome!... Why can't we explore the city first before going down there?"

"You know I hate cities. And... People," Luca said as he glared at some woman that had the nerve to smile at him as they crossed paths. "I want to be in Romania... Not Vegas." He said the word with such disgust that it made his sister move to move in front of him, making him stop dead in his tracks, "What?" He rolled his eyes while he sighed, crossing his arms back over his chest once again, preparing himself for the unavoidable lecture that he was sure Georgy was preparing.

"Do you wanna go back to Romania? Because I mean we can. Yeah, let's go back to a country where we're no longer welcome and live out the oh..." She looked down at her wrist like she was checking the time, "5 Minutes we'd survive there!" Luca sighed, she was shouting, and once you got her going she wouldn't stop. And that's all they needed was her to let slip what they were in the middle of the city. So before she could say another word, he clenched his jaw, grabbing her by the upper arm and leading her into an alley. But once they were away from prying ears, she started back up again like un-pausing a movie, "We have no choice Luca! We barely have enough of us to make a pack anymore. Do you want to kill the rest of us off because you decided you didn't want to be in Vegas anymore?" When he didn't respond, she kept going, "This is our best chance. With the others here we might be able to turn this... war around." He still wasn't convinced. He'd trade a city that never sleeps, species he can't stand and annoying drunk Humans for the forests of Romania any day.

"Maybe it is. But we don't need to be here to grow our numbers. We're not like Vampires or Demons who can turn someone or get someone to sell their soul. We have to repopulate and wait 15-18 years for them to mature and change for the first time." Georgy placed her hand on his chest, making a joke like she always did, "Well I'm flattered. But your my brother... That's frowned upon in most societies." She followed it with a playful laugh. He just shook his head, but a slight smile tugged at his lips. After another moment of silence, she broke it once more "Look at the bright side. People die here like all the time... So you can kill until your heart's content." Luca grinned, he liked that idea. He went to follow his sister who started to head back out to the street, but stopped to turn and look at him holding up a finger, "As long as you don't attract Dark hunters."

Georgy knew her brother had absolutely no idea where they were going. He never seemed to have a clue what was going on, just usually followed her lead because she always did. But it didn't stop him from questioning her when they reached an entrance to a subway, "So we're going from a city that smells like shit to a worse smelling subway? Seriously Georgy." She sighed with aggravation, "Shut up and come on." She turned her back to him and stepped onto the escalator. Being the clumsy person she is she nearly miss the step which would have resulted in her rolling down the very long staircase, bumping into every person on the way down. But Luca knew how she was, and without a blink of an eye, he nonchalantly extended his hand, grabbing her by the backpack to keep her from falling. "Why do I even worry that someone's going to kill you? You're just going to kill yourself."

When they reached the bottom, the entire crowd of people went to the left but Georgy lead her brother right. They made their way through a dark corridor until they came to an "Authorized Personnel Only" marked door. Neither one of them had an issue when it came to breaking the rules, but they still had to check and make sure the coast was clear. Then she pulled a key out of her pocket, wiggling it in her brother's face first in a Voila manner, before slipping it in the doorknob, twisting it and unlocking the door. They made their way down another long set of stairs, which obviously was starting to annoy Luca who piped up, "There needs to be an elevator." Once at the bottom, they were faced with another door. Grinning Georgy put her hand on the door, turning to face her brother, "Welcome to the Underworld!" She opened to the door to reveal an entire city that lived beneath Vegas. A city of 24/7 darkness. Perfect for all the supernaturals that inhabited it.

Georgy was surprised at how many others were down here. It gave her hope. Hope that maybe they had a chance to survive this. But in the grander scheme of things, this was just a small fraction of a civilization in comparison to the 7+ billion Humans above the surface. But each supernatural counted for at least 3 Humans... So that's a start right? Georgy didn't hesitate to wait around for her brother, fascinated by their new world, she wanted to explore, and maybe run into someone she knows. But contrary to what Georgy thought, Luca wasn't stupid either, "Who are we looking for?" He said in a monotone voice, not really in the I-Spy mood. "No one." She said with a mischievous grin. "Yeah... Sure." He sighed while rolling his eyes.

Zachary watched herself in the dirty mirror as she pulled at one of the small snakes attached to her scalp. Despite it's hissing and writhing about she held onto it and cut a long slash underneath it's head. She winced feeling the pain as if she was cutting her own limb. The blood was messy, spreading everywhere but she collected a few significant drops in an old nail polish bottle. Bottling the blood that was a dark pule-y/red-y color, she tucked the bottle into her bra. The blood from her snakes was venomous, and she'd rather have the poison on her and not need it then not have it.

"You all right in there?" Someone called as they knocked on the bathroom door. Zachary rolled her eyes. She'd been occupying the bathroom for a little longer than usual but that person needed to learn some patience.

"Just a minute." Zachary called back as she smoothed her snakes back against her scalp, making soothing sounds to them. Until they stopped snapping and hissing, and then slowly they disappeared, being replaced by normal regular human hair. Though currently, Zachary's hair was dyed blue. She ran the water and quickly washed the blood off her but didn't bother about the mess she'd made in the bathroom. Then she opened the bathroom door, giving the stern woman waiting on the other side an awkward look. "It's super gross in there, I think some one was bleeding," Zachary then just walked away. She put on the headphones that had been sitting around her neck and let the rock music send her away.

Zachary had only just got here, and she already hated it. Last time she was in Las Vegas she had sworn never to return. Though to be fair she's said that about so many places it's hard to remember them all, and well she doesn't have many places left to be. She missed the place she currently called home, it was a small place in rural England, and she had a large garden where she could collect her stone statues. It sounds grim but its actually quite peaceful, and Zachary likes to think or it as artful. Its where she has all her best statues stored. Her favourite of the moment is of a human male who decided to drunkenly moon Zachary. Well, he's not laughing any more, he should have thought harder about what pose he wanted to stick with for the rest of eternity.

Zachary made her way to what she liked to refer to as the Underworld. Mostly because it was under the city. She never claimed it was a clever name. Of course there were many, many ways to get there, one only had to look carefully. Zachary went into a run down looking casino, which had an out of order photo booth in the back corner. She ignored the sign and entered the photo booth. Taking her key and twisting it in a hidden keyhole made the inside of the photo booth descend down underground. After a few moments, the door opened and Zachary was in the Underworld.

She had been here six times before, and none of those times had ended well. She preferred not interacting with other dark creatures if she could. Though unfortunately that would mean she wouldn't really know anyone else who got the invite. Of course, excluding Delia, though she hadn't seen her for a while. Before Melanie's death even. Last time Zachary had seen her she was trying to rip Delia's throat open. Of course a year or so after that she sent her a 'we cool?' text. Modern technology made getting over fights soo much easier. It used to be a letter that may or may not make it to it's destination. Plus you couldn't send smiley faces over letters.

As Zachary walked along the footpath she checked the time on her phone. She nodded to herself as she noted that she'd make it to the meeting place at a reasonable time. Which was something for her.

It didn't take Georgy and her brother long to reach the epicenter of supernatural leader activity in the Underworld. The place may have been big but there were definitely areas that some Darks shouldn't go to and what not. But they were in the most neutral zone. As they stood there it didn't take long for others to begin to show up. This part is what made Georgy feel so uneasy. She didn't particularly know many of these species, and the ones she did know were either by chance or because Werewolves and Shifters are close. Speaking of Werewolves her thoughts were interrupted when the brunette female vampire walked past her brother saying, "Well hello Luca?" Luca just nodded his head and replied coldly, "Hayley." She raised a brow slightly, thinking Do I not exist? Of course not. Every woman with half a brain thought Luca was hot, and she supposed his sunny disposition gave off that bad boy vibe that soooo many girls loved. She rolled her eyes while sighing softly.

It wasn't until this Hayley went and sat down that she noticed Terry was there. How could she miss him? So being awesomely weird friend she was, she waited until he looked her way then made a slightly creepy smile while waving at him. She had noticed Hayley was looking at her, it made Georgy tilt her head like a curious puppy, before using an index finger to circle her own face in the air, "Take a picture... it lasts longer." Before she got a chance to hear the girl's reaction she heard another familiar voice join the group, "Fancy seeing the pair of you here" Georgy knew the voice before even looking over, but to humor herself she did and there was Luna. It took everything in her not to make a vomit noise, but she knew she pissed of Luca who looked like he almost had the potential to smile when the blonde approached. He looked like he was about to say something to her but then turned to Terry. Georgy thought she heard him say something with "pops" in there. And all she could do was face palm and hope a fight doesn't start. "That's not what your mom called me last night." Luca said towards Terry.

Georgy bit her lip trying to fight the laughter and decided that this would be the best of time as ever to slip over towards Terry because she had no desire to talk to Luna. Once she was in front of Terry she took a seat right there on the floor, sitting Indian style, "You have to admit... that was a good one." She smiled playfully towards her friend. Georgy didn't happen to hear the part about the full moon, only thing she heard was his first statement saying, "Good news is though we haven't ran into any vampires down here yet." She twiddled her thumbs adding, "Yeah... yet. But you know those blood suckers... They'll be here." She said that as she glanced around.

Georgy wasn't paying too much attention to her surroundings apparently because she didn't even hear or see Declan join the group. So when he made his way behind her and leaned over her shoulder to speak softly in her ear, "Hello, Georgeta..." She nearly jumped out of her skin. But looking over her shoulder to see him, her face lit up and she quickly moved back to her feet, dusting her jeans off. "Dec!... I didn't know you were coming." She then sighed when she realized what he called her, putting her hands on her hips, "And how many times have I told you to call me Georgy."

Luca was happy that Luna had came. Of course his faced said something completely different but all the same he was. Once he got his little jab in towards Terry, he turned his attention back towards the little blonde he practically towered over. "So the Necromancer came out of the shadows to join us monsters?" He smirked in a teasing manner before adding, "Good to see you Luna." He was prepared to give Luna his full attention until he saw him join the group and of course, make his way over towards Georgy. He hated how Declan looked at his sister. Luca's a man, obviously he knew the intentions behind those stares and it made his blood boil. He wanted to go over there, grab Georgy and just take her somewhere... else, didn't matter where. But he knew that he'd get the eternal wrath of his sister if he embarrassed her like that.

So being quick on his feet Luca piped up, "I don't know why in the hell we're all just standing around. But I'm going inside." With that he glanced down towards Luna, nodding his head in the direction of everyone's destination. A small pub that had looked like it had seen better days was only a few feet away from the group. The wooden sign above it was so weathered that the title, "Medusa's" was almost illegible. He made his way up the few steps to the door, pulling it open and made his way inside. He weaved his way through tables and chairs until he reached a doorway with a black felt curtain that opened up into a large conference style room. Without hesitation or waiting for the others, Luca took the closest chair, sitting down before propping his feet up on the table. At least here he'd get momentary relief from watching a Reaper flirt with his sister.

Delia rushed to get dressed rushing through her apartment looking for this and that. Anything she found she put on, not worrying about what it looked like. She finished getting dressed and went over to a glass tank she had sitting on a shelf. In the glass tank was Titus, her python. She loved him dearly since he had once been a man whom she loved with all her heart. With a depressing sigh she fed her Titus "I'm going to be gone for awhile, ok? I've asked the neighbors to feed you twice a day so no snapping at their little fingers. I know you like that but not this time ok darling?" She muttered to her snake petting him on the head while her hair hissed for attention. Alright, hush. She thought as she began to pet her hair, smoothing so that it no different than any other humans hair. She didn't bother to look to make sure she looked ok she was sure she looked just fine.

"Alright darling, I will see you soon." She said as she put the cover back on the tank. She grabbed her keys and was out the door. Knocking on her neighbors door to let them know she was now leaving and she had just fed Titus and not to feed him until the night. After relaying the information she thanked them and made her way outside.

Las Vegas, the most disgusting place in the world in Delia's opinion but it wasn't like she had a choice. Dark creatures had only this place to meet and they supposedly needed to ban together to keep from going extinct. She could understand that ever since her friend Melanie was killed the killings of the dark hunters became evident to her. She thought of her friends as she made her way to a run down casino. Melanie was the reason they had to deal with this extinction in the beginning Thanks a lot she thought. Though she stayed in contact with Melanie she couldn't really get over it, she was still to blame. Zachary and Delia were closer friends after this had happened to them than either of them with Melanie despite all of their fights, physical and verbal. It had been a long time since she saw her friend and that was the only good thing that would come out of this meeting.

She walked into the casino and into the photo booth. She searched her pockets for the key nearly panicking thinking she'd left it behind but found it after turning her pockets inside out. With a relieved sigh she put the key in it's place and turned. It wasn't her favorite way to get to the Underworld but it was the only way that seemed safer to her.

Within seconds she was there, the Underworld. With a sigh she made her way along the path towards the meeting place, Medusa's, which always made her chuckle seeing as Medusa was a well known Gorgon like Delia and Zachary.

"Do you really have to go out again?" Cadence asks, watching Jordan don his usual going out attire; Black jacket, hole-y jeans, and a shirt thats obviously been through the wringer. He glances at her from the corner of his eye, frowning a bit."Yes I do, and by the way what happened to doing your homework?" Her eyes go wide, pursing her lips into a scowl. "Its so boring!" She complains, the same old argument shes been using forever now. Jordan rolls his eyes and stoops to lace up his shoes.

"Just go do it," he says through clenched teeth. Managing his temper, knowing it will only do more harm than good to yell at her about it. They've been doing this dance since she started school, and its entirely too exhausting to focus on...No, he has more important things to do right now.

"Whatever," She huffs and stands. Seconds later her arms wrapping around Jordan "Love you, come back soon okay?" He returns the hug, freezing at a feeling of breath on his neck. He doesn't have to look in the mirror to know that nobody is actually there, just a long forgotten memory. A memory that makes gasping, choking noises next to his ear.'You let her parents die Jordan, you don't deserve her love.' It whispers, cackling wildly just a moment after. Ice cold power surges through him for just a moment, ready to explode outward but he combats it, digging his fingernails into his skin to distract himself.

"I will," he replies tightly, loosening his grip on her quickly. After composing himself, and doing his best to ignore the memory thats standing just over Cadence, looking smug as it runs ghostly fingers through her brunette hair.
"Be good, while I'm gone." He says, promptly shooing her away, turning towards the mirror one last time to glance at his reflection. The memory is still standing there, grinning wide to show off bloodstained teeth. He doesn't recognize this one, though he knows there are plenty of people who have died by his hands that he doesn't remember. She is likely among the ones slaughtered during his infamous killing spree several years back.

He's already late - or so he suspects, so he doesn't bother hurrying along with things. Stopping off to acquire a pack of cigarettes from a corner store, before finally making his way towards the one place that doesn't require him to hide away in the shadows.
As he continues on his path the ache of guilt begins to surface in his gut. Another round of self doubt arising in the wake of his near outburst earlier. He looks around wildly, simply waiting for the appearance of more 'memories,' their dull whisper-y voices already bouncing around the inside of his head. However in the time it takes him to arrive to his destination only the one from before continues to hang around, always seen just out of the corner of his eyes. Everything about it is annoying, but he has very little choice but to endure it.

"Ostende mihi viam." He whispers, feeling the trickle of power begin to race through him. He glances around, watching the world around him turn into a jumble of colors and symbols. Hidden signs directing him to the place he needs to go. He follows the path, noticing immediately a red lit up doorway, something he wouldn't have noticed were he not using his abilities. He pushes past a door labeled "Authorized Personnel Only," descending into the darkness quickly. A grin spreads slowly on his face, taking in the sights and sounds for a moment. Its dark, but his eyes adjust quickly and he can see the throng of people here. He stops he usage of his abilities,

'Filthy creatures,' whispers the memory over his shoulder, 'all of you should be eradicated. He ignores it, knowing that hes the only one that can see it. He catches sight of a few familiar faces, but doesn't take the time to stop and chat as he heads towards the meeting place. He enters quietly, content with keeping silent for the moment. Well, that is until he hears Luna speaking "It seem's my fellow necromancer is late as usual.. But is this everyone?"

"Oh Luna, you know me, always the last to arrive, always the first to leave." He smirks, sliding into a seat.

Late as usual, Roslyn scoffs as she checks the time, not in the least worried about showing up late to an impromptu meeting. One that she has no interest in whatsoever beyond the need to hear the latest gossip. Sure, she cares that those damn hunters are out there weeding out her kind at an alarming pace, but she could care less about many of the others. However, she consoles herself with the knowledge that if anything she will get to see her fellow leader there. It isn't every week that their paths cross after all.

The sound of muffled screams draws her attention. She glances down, as if having forgotten completely what she had been doing before. Her hands placed on either side of a human mans face, his eyes nearly completely rolled back into his head. She smiles, "Oh dear, I almost forgot about you."

Crack! A single twist and the man goes limp, dead. She removes herself from his lap, where she had been perched before. She leaves the body, a little present for whoever manages to find him. It had taken her quite a long time to carve his body up, and she was proud of the work she had done.

"Hmmm, not exactly meeting ready." She takes note of the blood, practically soaked into her formerly white button up. Splatters of it everywhere. Not that its any of her problem, the clean up is always the least fun part of it all. "It'll have to do." She says to herself.

Teleporting - though extremely rough on the gut most days - is pretty simple this time around. She makes sure to get as close to the underground entrance as possible, not wanting to risk a sighting by Hunters. Thats the last thing she needs, to get caught up in some fight with those idiots. She walks the short distance to the door, descending quickly into the darkness. She is briefly reminded of a silly horror movie she watched recently, well, sort of watched while plotting the demise of her "date."
Roslyn doesn't bother announcing her presence, simply casts her sights about the room to take stock of its inhabitants. She knows a few of them, here and there, but overall her lack of need to associate with other creatures leaves her unable to place most of the faces. She does notice Eamon, and the Necromancers of course.

As Delia moved along she was beginning to hate this place more and more. There were all sorts of dark creatures there, it was sort of a neutral grown for those that didn't much get along yet some still found it in themselves to fight among each other. They had a bigger problem to deal with but Delia would admit there were some dark creatures that she would definitely fight with even in the Underworld. She looked at the watch on her wrist, she was late, not like she cared about being late but it was rude to keep others waiting when it came to such a touchy topic as this one. Walking down the path she recognized a girl walking in front of her. She had changed her hair since they last saw each other but she could recognize her anywhere. "Zachary" She sang quickining her step to catch up with her friend "How have you been? I see you changed your hair, I like it." She said with a small smile. It didn't matter how many fights the two got in Delia couldn't imagine not being friends with her.

In all her years of being a dark creature there have only been few times she needed to visit the Underworld. She wasn't sure exactly where Medusa's was bt she had an idea that if they stayed on the path they would get there. "Looking forward to the meeting?" She asked with a snort, she knew Zachary of all people didn't want to be there but also didn't have a choice. None of them did really, they were being hunted and killed and they needed a way to fight back. This meeting wouldn't go smoothly but it was needed to protect dark creatures.

Zachary continued down the street stuck in her own little word inside her head. Blocking out the gross and overly supernatural world around her. She was aware that the Underworld sucked and she didn't need to think about it to be sure. Though she was brought back to reality when she noticed someone in her peripheral vision. She smiled when she saw it was Delia who had fallen into step with her. Delia was the one friend Zachary could manage, because she got it. They could fight and argue and yell, and then they'd just make up like it was no big deal. Being around Delia, Zachary didn't feel like she had to constantly hold back how she feels. Plus if there was anyone in the world who understood Zachary and her life it was Delia, after all she'd been there and gone though it too. Something like that kind of bonds you for life. Even if your life is of above average length.

Taking off her headphones suddenly she could her what her friend with saying. "How have you been? I see you changed your hair, I like it." She said with a small smile, which Zachary returned.

"Huh? Oh yeah, I did it awhile ago, but I suppose it's been a while since we last met," Zachary said pointing to her hair. The snakes hated hair dye, but Zachary chose not to let them rule her life. Someone had to show them who was in charge of things. "I've been fine I suppose. Just a lot more of the same," Zachary sighed, "How about you?"

"Looking forward to the meeting?" She asked with a snort. Zachary responded with a knowing look.

She did not want to be here at all. Then she dropped the look and made a more serious face. "The idea of Dark Hunters never really bothered me Del, I mean they never came after me." Zachary said shrugging, "I thought that we'd be fine. I mean we're not the idiot super-naturals that the humans have been writing fiction about for centuries. But then after what happened to Mel," Zachary drifted off letting that statement hold for a few seconds. Then she went back to her usual mean bitterness. "Don't get me wrong. The bitch deserved it, and however it went down it was probably her being reckless that got her killed. It just makes you think is all. I do not want to be next."

Delia was probably the only person in this entire world that Zachary could be real with. Some days she hated that about Delia, but today, it was kind of nice. "How are you dealing with the Melanie of it all?" Zachary asked morbidly to her friend. She knew Delia had stayed friends with Melanie, and even though it was something Zachary could have never done, she didn't begrudge Delia her friendship with the other girl.

Then the two of them arrived at Medusa's. Of course Zachary smirked at little at the choice of location, Delia and her's ancestor of sorts. After living through a very similar situation, Zachary completely understood why Medusa was considered such a cow.

Though Zachary gave a dirty look at the vampires and werewolves having a little stand-off out the front. Then she turned to Delia, "You'd think with everything going on the wolves and vampires and whatever would get over themselves," she said. Deliberately making herself loud enough to be heard by the vampires and wolves. She never much cared for getting along with the other species, and so she was not afraid to ruffle feathers.

Delia hadn't realized she had earphones in but mentally shrugged it off when she responded. "Huh? Oh yeah, I did it awhile ago, but I suppose it's been a while since we last met." Delia nodded at that, it had been awhile maybe too long. She didn't realize how much she missed Zachary until now, she suddenly felt like herself...her old self. "I've been fine I suppose. Just a lot more of the same, How about you?" Delia smiled "I've been good actually, I've been better though" She said with a sigh.

"The idea of Dark Hunters never really bothered me Del, I mean they never came after me." Zachary responded to her question about the meeting, Delia kind of felt the same way at first. They weren't much of a threat at first. "I thought that we'd be fine. I mean we're not the idiot super-naturals that the humans have been writing fiction about for centuries. But then after what happened to Mel." Mel was a touchy subject for Delia not as touchy as Titus however. She never found it in herself not to be friends with Mel and even over the years it seemed Delia had unconsciously forgiven her which made them closer. Though she and Melanie never had the type of friendship she and Zachary have she was a pretty close friend. "Don't get me wrong. The bitch deserved it, and however it went down it was probably her being reckless that got her killed. It just makes you think is all. I do not want to be next." There is was, the statement Delia was waiting for. She knew Zachary had never forgiven her, in fact her hatred for Melanie seemed to grow over the centuries.

"How are you dealing with the Melanie of it all?" Delia shrugged, honestly she wasn't really dealing with it. She just pushed it down to let it fuel her hatred for the dark hunters. "I'm fine, I mean there isn't much I can do about it. Like you said she was probably being reckless, probably a good thing it happened after she visited me." Delia responded as if it didn't bother her. She was good for that, hiding her feelings for the most part.

Finally they reached Medusa's, she still found it chuckle worthy that the meeting was being held there. She began to wonder who called the meeting in the first place. "You'd think with everything going on the wolves and vampires and whatever would get over themselves." Zachary said breaking Delia out of her thoughts and she chuckled at her statement. Delia could kind of agree, she honestly didn't know why the two species hated each other so much.

She took a look around the room and saw dark creatures she hoped wouldn't be there, Necromancers. Suddenly bitterness boiled up inside her as she found her seat and sat down as she gave them bitter stares.

Luca hadn't be outside with Terry and the Vamps for more than a minute before the hostile Nadia chimed in at his question, β€œIt’s as if we are in a zoo with all these animals.” He leaned forward slightly to glance around Terry's head to look at the feisty brunette vampire, "Well then you should feel right at home." He smirked while raising a brow at her. Luca quickly began to feel like everyone was showing up at the same time, because not shortly after the witty banter with Nadia, 2 more women showed up at the Medusa. One saying very loudly for all of them to hear, "You'd think with everything going on the wolves and vampires and whatever would get over themselves." Being the smart ass he is, Luca glanced over his shoulder towards the female, "Hey, this whatever is a Shapeshifter." He pointed at himself when he said "whatever" and then gave a thumbs up at the end of his statement.

Luca shifted his attention back towards the elder male vampire before him, that addressed Terry about the very evident Elephant in the room. "Since I know it's going to be brought up in the meeting, I want to discuss it now. As far as I'm concerned, there's no good reason that there should be beef between us. I've been on this earth for two thousand years and I still don't know what this feud is about. While I'm sure that many of my kind would like to continue this pissing contest that we've been competing over, we unfortunately have bigger troubles on our hands. I suggest he have a truce. Together we have a much better chance of survival than separate." When the male concluded, he extended his right hand out towards Terry in offering of a truce. Luca was slightly impressed by the blatant openness of the vampire, but he still didn't like the idea of the truce. How long could it honestly last? But this wasn't his decision, it was Terry's.

Georgy grew impatient in her chair, bringing her left hand up to push back the sleeve of her jacket on her right arm. Glancing down at her watch, she saw the time, and with an aggravated groan she stood up, pushing her chair backwards. Weaving through chairs and people, she made her way to the curtain door, walking through it nearly bumping into a woman with blue hair. "Oh... sorry." She offered an apologetic smile, while holding open the curtain door for the female and her friend. Once they were through she headed towards the entrance of the bar, pushing chairs out of her way, not really having the patience to weave through them. Reaching the door, she pushed it open, "Sorry for the interruption," crossing her arms over her chest while propping the door open with her right foot. "Luca! You can be pissed at me all you want... I don't care. But please take your sulking ass back inside." She motioned her hands in a circle, pointing them towards the inside of the bar, "I'd appreciate having my giant, brute of a brother backing me up."

Georgy waited a moment in the doorway, flashing everyone else around a smile. She didn't like coming off as a bitch but her brother was ridiculous. Luca, still not moving, she sighed heavily while tapping her foot loud enough so he would hear it. "Jesus Georgy I'm coming!" He practically growled. "Thank you," Satisfied, Georgy smiled happily as she spun around to go back inside. "I saw that," She didn't have to look back at her brother to know that he rolled his eyes at her as he followed after her.

Upon reentering the increasingly over crowded room, Georgy made her way to head of the table while Luca maneuvered through people, taking a seat beside Luna. Standing at the epicenter of the room, Georgy cleared her throat nervously before speaking towards everyone, "Hello everyone. First of all, I'd like to thank everyone for coming. I know it's a lot to ask, and many of us don't quite see eye to eye." She shot a glare towards her brother before continuing, "We all know why we're here. And I, as much as the next person, wish that we didn't have to go to such extremes but... I fear we have no other choices at our disposal." As she continued to talk, she noticed she was gaining more and more of the rooms attention. And as more eyes settled on her, she began to grow more and more nervous. She hated being the center of attention and her brother gave no support, sitting there watching her like everyone else. The nerves began to make her hands shake, and to avoid looking weak or scared to everyone else, she placed her hands down on the table leaning against them.

"Our numbers, as a whole, are a fraction of what they used to be... And within the last decade at least 5 other species of Supers have gone extinct." Georgy swallowed hard while glancing over towards Declan and Dezember, hoping to get reassuring smiles or something from her friends before looking back out towards the group. "So we need to figure out how we all are going to turn the odds in our favor!... And as much as we hate it, we all need to work together."

Declan didn't react at all to Luca getting upset with him. In a way, he was embarrassed by what he said considering that was Luca's sister but he overall looked rather smug about the whole situation. He actually ignored the siblings and gave his attention to his protΓ©gΓ©, Dezember. "Any exciting tales to tell about work? I actually brought a man to hell today and it was rather intriguing. He was a large fellow with a huge gut and the most ridiculously stereotypical redneck hair do you could imagine. It turned out that man not only raped women..." He paused for dramatic effect. "He murdered their families if they tried to talk. How peculiar?"

He gave her a moment to react when his attention was drawn back onto Georgy who took center stage in the run down pub to make any announcement. He turned his chair to face her better and sat up straight but leaned enough to make it seem like he was truly engaged in every word she had to say. "Hello everyone. First of all, I'd like to thank everyone for coming. I know it's a lot to ask, and many of us don't quite see eye to eye." Declan watched her shoot a glare towards Luca which only made Declan look even more smug than before.

"We all know why we're here. And I, as much as the next person, wish that we didn't have to go to such extremes but... I fear we have no other choices at our disposal." The room slowly became more silent as more people began to pay attention. Declan could easily sense that she was getting nervous. He prepared himself to stand up and support her by fixing his suit. He was only going up there if he looked most presentable.

"Our numbers, as a whole, are a fraction of what they used to be... And within the last decade at least 5 other species of Supers have gone extinct." Georgy glanced towards him and Dezember and he made sure to give his most convincing smile to help put her nerves at ease. "So we need to figure out how we all are going to turn the odds in our favor!... And as much as we hate it, we all need to work together." Declan took the moment of silence to stand up next to her. He stood rather close and he had an expression like he was asking for a challenge but not from Luca. He was there to keep the others from daring to question Georgy.

"Georgeta is right." He spoke formally. "These foolish quarrels that we have with each other or what's diminishing our once great numbers." He was addressing the werewolves and vampires mostly. "But more importantly, we are allowing pride and ignorance to blind our judgement on noticing the real threat." He put one hand in his pocket. "It's not just the dark metal or Dark Hunters we need to worry about anymore... It's mankind."

Social standard would have him shake hands with the statue vampire. Point as he made about the feud with no real reason, and how it'd be easier to put their differences aside and just work together. Indeed, humans were gaining ground on the dark creatures and posing a threat to all. If Terry would ever claim truce with a species he didn't like, now would be the most appropriate time. He was sure it sounded like a complete dream deal to most. But Hayley and the pretty vampire who was unable to help herself on comments of the wet dog smell they apparently gave off, was just a preview of the bumps to come.

Terry was glad to have Luca by his side at this point of time, just as feeling of reassurance, even as opinionated and hot-headed as he was. Eventually Terry sighed out, looking at the vampires hand. "I can't promise that on all werewolves behalf," he admitted. Terry actually felt half bad for refusing a word of truce, but he didn't know how honorable vampires were, Augustus, highly likely with his age and embedded manners, but Terry knew, there'd be that odd one that just out spite and rebellion, that would seek the opposite species for a fight. Best not to lead on false hope and announce their own war later when the truce fell apart.

"It's just gonna work for the better that we hold off," he said. After all, for the moment they weren't culling each others type, or causing any physical harm anyway. Not wanting to stay in the one spot after rejecting a truce, Terry pat Luca's back as a "thanks for being here" type of gesture and headed into Medusa's.

Catching a brief glance of the Gorgon and Necromancers in which she exchanged cold glances too, Terry smirked. "You'd think with everything going on the gorgons and necromancers would get over themselves," he mimicked. He moved to his own little area in time to catch Georgy's unison speech.

Suddenly, his attention shifted to sudden drama between, banshee and demon, and it made Terry feel kinda good. He and the vampires weren't the first to break into a fight like he so dreadfully anticipated.

She couldn't believe Nadia. Who did she think she was? Duh a blood sucker. But Hayley knew it was better to bite her tongue but then Maya broke in. She smiled at Maya and carefully looked at Terry who was speaking with Luca. "Thanks Maya but I had told about you that in the past. When I talk sneerful. I like to keep that with just me." She said smiling.

Then she listened as the speech began to go on. She understood that things were happening like that and she felt that it was terrible we were going extent. But she wasn't one to have any ideas. She watched as then some drama went down. It wouldn't be the supernatural without drama.

She felt that she was piling it on thick for once. And it looked exactly like that. "Well not to break up drama. Because I love it. But what do you expect we do? We don't have many but do we plan to attack? Or do we plan to go forth and multiple. Just what is it exactly you want to do. Because I think a lot of us would like to be filled in." She said smiling. She knew that this definitely did not look good for her that she was actually concerned but hey she might as well try to go out with a bang.

She glanced at them wondering what they were going to say next. And maybe answer her question she had shouted.

Augustus sighed as Price had declined the truce. What possible reason was there to not accept? He wondered what exactly Price had in mind for the survival of his pack. A war may not exist as of the moment, but he knew that it could come at any time and when it did it would be a blood math. Then the hunters would pick up the pieces.

Augustus listened to the concerns quietly until he voiced his concerns. "I believe if we continued this war, we would lose regardless of our strategy. We can't fight them head on, we're outnumbered, we're outgunned, and we don't have the means to expand. Which leaves only two other options. Either we create an independent nation far from the others, which is unlikely, or we integrate ourselves into society."

"I have a plan should we choose the latter. The vampire clans can back a reparation payment to the United States government for...the atrocities that we've caused. In exchange the president will sign an executive order stating that we are now applicable for citizenship and it will be the responsibility of the states on how to handle us. We can then influence the southwest into becoming friendly to our kind, even if is just through the government. As for the hunters, in the supernatural friendly states, they would probably be integrated into the police and those that continue on their missions would be marked as terrorists"

Augustus took a metal canteen filled with blood from his jacket. After taking a swig he let out another sigh before the proposal continued. "If we did that the war would end in these areas at least, allowing us to get back on our feet and recover a portion of our numbers. There would still be violence from the hunters, but at least they would be fewer in number and we would have some support."

"You'd think with everything going on the gorgons and necromancers would get over themselves," Terry had mimicked, causing Maya to smile and chuckle as she followed her leader into Medusa's after peeling her eyes off of the woman he had directed those words at. They deserved it, because they couldn't begin to understand the feud between Vampire, and werewolf. They weren't one. Didn't they have a feud of their own though? Gorgons VS the Gods? talk about hypocrites. Medusa was the one who had a curse put on her by Zeus himself, so they couldn't say anything about anyone. Maya bumped her shoulder against Terry's as she moved to be beside him, and smirked.

Once in the room where the meeting was, Maya slipped into one of the chairs closet to her, keeping a seat open for Terry, and Hayley. She was listening closely to what Lucas sister was saying so bravely in-front of everyone. That was definitely something she couldn't find herself doing. For her pack; yes.. but not in-front of every Dark creature.

Their eyes would constantly be on her the entire time, and silently judging her. Luckily she didn't have mind reading skills, but that would suck in a time like this. She knew what to do. Without Terry's permission, Maya got up from where she was sat, and headed up to the front to where Georgy was, then took her hand in hers as she stood next to her with a smile. "Just picture them all naked" that advice was actually good, because she'd probably feel less nervous knowing that she was clothed, and they weren't. "You're doing amazing." her eyes turned to look at Georgy now, and smiled more before turning her attention back to the crowd, then to her pack. They'd probably be shocked by what she decided to do, but Georgy needed this, she needed someone beside her. Supporting her.

Now, Maya liked Augustus's plan, but it had loop holes here and there in her opinion. Number one, who was to say that any human being would allow their kind to live among society? Number two, they definitely wouldn't expect the Supers in with the body counts. Yes Maya had killed in the past, but that wasn't a lot, and that was before she got herself under control. "There's too many flaws in your plan, Augustus.." Maya shouted across to him. "It's an amazing idea, I'll agree to that.. but how would our kind get the president to agree? who's to say that the humans wouldn't pretend to like us, then pick us off one, by one. We can't risk it. Unless.." she paused for a moment. Thinking. "What if we asked them for our own city where we would remain within its boundaries, no humans, and agree to not harm anyone unless they trespassed onto our lands?" of course Maya wouldn't even harm them then, but she had to make sure that everyone got something out of the deal at least, even if she didn't like humans dying for their selfish needs.

Blake was getting ready for the mission ahead of them while locking the plan away in his head. If anything was going to turn sour, then he wanted the other Hunters to get out, and not look back. Blake would find his own way out, and if he didn't? then at least he would know that the others could get a chance to do it differently.

He made sure he had his Dark hunting silver knife tucked away in his boot, and his Desert Eagle .50 laced with plenty of Dark bullets. He was ready, bumped, and eager to go. Now he just had to wait for the Slutty Huntresss who was too busy flirting her ass off with the other male hunter who took her live bait like a fish on a hook. Patience was not one of his traits, so he motioned his head towards the door for Jezebel to follow him, then lead the way before crashing into his leader who was on her way back with Jason. "We'll have to go now.. I'll explain the plan to you once we're on the road." What about the vampire inside though? "We'll deal with fangless later. We gotta do this now." He actually didn't like being bossy, but it was the only way to help them along, to get their city back and not have to worry about anymore humans being killed.

Luca shifted in his seat uneasily as his sister's speech, for lack of a better term was interrupted by the Demon and Banshee. He didn't really know the reason for the tussle or cared. On a regular day he'd let the disagreement continue and probably kick back with some popcorn and enjoy it. But even if he didn't like the idea of working together, he still had little patience for those rude enough to show up to the meeting and fight before it could really get under way. So with an agitated sigh, Luca stood up, kicking his chair backwards before making his way over to the men. Reaching them just as the Demon disappeared, then re-appeared on the other side of the room. He sighed, running his hands over his face before speaking towards Ronan, "Look, whatever reason you have for wanting to kick a Demon's ass is probably worth while... But, if we could either wait until after my sister is done or take it outside, I'd be very appreciative." Luca made sure he only spoke loud enough for the man to hear. As much as he loved fights and whatever else, he wasn't try to cause any farther arguments. He had no issue with the Banshee. Just wanted his sister to get the attention she deserved because he knew she was terrified of public speaking.

Luca turned his attention towards Hayley as she asked the questions he knew were inevitably going to be asked of his sister but before Georgy had a time to reply, the male vampire chimed in with his 2 cents. He talked about some stupid bullshit about creating a new nation or trying to blend into society and get citizenship. Maya then began to agree with the male Vampire. Luca shook his head slightly while laughing before saying, "So you're saying you think we should either try to become our nation which would stop absolutely nothing... We'd just be our own country, that's if we could find land and hope that would stop the war. But it wouldn't, they'd just have a nation to target and a more direct idea about our location. And last I checked the only land that didn't really have a claim on it already was Antartica. You may be cold blooded because you're dead, but some of us can still die of hypothermia."

He looked over towards his sister before glancing back towards the room, counting the second option on his fingers as if listing off the possibilities, "Or we let Dracula and his band of blood suckers petition the government?" Luca was literally laughing at such a naive idea. "This is beyond governments and politics. I, for one, would never put my life and trust in the hands of the Vampires to discuss executive order and citizenship. You want us to conform to society... blend in. Some, such as the Vampires, can and have blended in with humans easily for centuries. But what about those that can't? I don't want to have to change who I am to fit into a society ran by egotistical humans that believe they are the end all be all. Laws and citizenships don't end wars and murder. We will STILL be hunted mercilessly regardless of whatever the 'government' says. Plus, let us not forget the simple fact that the President was one of those who thought turning their efforts against us was a good idea? We did not ask for these lives. But they are OUR LIVES and we have a right to fight for them."

"And although Maya and Augustus make good points. I don't think that'll be enough. We'll still be hunted. Politicians... Media... They've all made us out to be these enemies when we lived in hidden silence for years. They act as if we kill more than the rapists and serial killers that plague the streets of every city. We're an easy target to aim their hatred at. It's easier to point fingers at us than accept their own flaws and short comings. And as much 'having our own nation, city or whatever' sounds appealing, we'd have to assume that humans are accepting. Which they aren't... hell they alienated people of darker skin color and made them slaves just because they looked different. Imagine how much worse it'd be since we actually are different."

Georgy shouldn't have been shocked when they were together barely 15 minutes and there were already people starting to fight. She brought her hand up to scratch her head nervously. She hated public speaking. How was she supposed to make all these very different people come together to try and just survive. She desperately wanted to reach out and take Declan's hand because just that small amount of contact would help give her the strength and confidence she needed. But as if timed perfectly, Maya made her way up front, taking her hand whispering something about picturing them naked. Georgy couldn't help but chuckle at the comment. Thankfully Luca could see the disruption made her lose her train of thought and shift about nervously. So he went over to the one Banshee male, saying something inaudible but by the looks of it her brother was actually trying to be a decent person. But what he did next really took her by surprise. He actually spoke up. That wasn't something Luca did very often.

Knowing that she now had the full support of her brother, Georgy was able to continue, "To answer your question Hayley... No I don't have a clear answer on how to solve all of our problems. But I do know that it needs to start here, in this room." She pointed down at the ground as she spoke, slowly gaining more confidence as she spoke. "Everyone that is left looks towards us for guidance. And we're still quarreling about petty feuds that are centuries old. What good does it do? We are putting all our effort towards battles that haven't been resolved for hundreds of years when we have a clear and more precedent danger right at our door step. We could go back to living on our own but we will die that way. They'll be able to hunt us and expect our tactics because each species is predictable. Kill vampires during the day when they can't travel, attract Reapers by causing death... It's not difficult to end us when we are isolated and separated. But when we are together... We're unpredictable. We can balance each others' weaknesses with another's strengths. Moves and counter moves."

"I'm not saying this will be easy... Because it won't be. But if we all continue to be stubborn and allow our egos to get the better of us we won't be getting anywhere. If you're out numbered 1000 to 1, who is going to want to come help you when you're a dick towards the only people that have the ability to help you.... You may not care about the lives of the others in this room or in your species, but you care about your own life enough to keep fighting and to be here. If you think that being on your own is the best option for your survival then by all means go."
Georgy motioned towards the door. Her nerves were completely gone. She may have been small, but she was emanating strength and hope. Something they all needed.

"And you might win for awhile. Kill the hunters that come your way. But one day there WILL be too many and there will be no one there to help you. But I agree with Luca. Humans... they think they are better than us. Superior. When they haven't accepted the facts. We are the evolution of mankind. We are stronger, faster, BETTER. We are the new age of life. They can't accept that they aren't on top of the food chain anymore. It scares them. And that is one thing that is more powerful than all of us in this room... Their fear! We need to show them why we are the monsters their children fear at night. We need to show them that we may be few in number, but we out power them ten fold. We need to show them... That we are going NO WHERE!"

Although the younger werewolf agreed with most of the idea, the young shape shifters who spoke up thought differently. One was displaying the utter hopelessness of of the situation and the other, well the other suggested using fear of all things to fight.

"Pray tell child, how many times has this worked in history?." Augustus said, annoyed. "Us going into hiding is nothing new, no we've been losing this competition for ages. Humans are not the weaker species. They are the apex predator. They always have been. We don't evolve the way they do, we don't multiply as fast, and most importantly, we don't have the drive they do. As for fear, well fear turns to hate awful quick. That hate derived from fear is the greatest drive one can have to fight. I've seen it happen hundreds of time with even the pettiest of things. So if we were to incite the fear that we would dominate the planet, it would only deepen their resolve to kills us and take even more extreme measures. Augustus relaxed a bit. It annoyed him when the new and inexperienced lectured their elders on their own new ideas. Every vampire has had that same thought process and every time they either grew out of it with age as they realized the reality or get killed by a mob of angry men.

"As for the president, he wasn't the start of this, that goes back before he was elected. During his last election, some colleagues and I supported one of his super pacts. Well worth it after he slashed the corporate taxes. I'm sure I can get an audience with him if I threaten to reveal he was funded by a vampire. As for their agreement...." Augustus rubbed his face. "My clans will sell their assets and provide their funds to settle the United State's debt. All of it. What president, in their right mind, would pass up an exchange like that?" He really didn't like the payment part. After thousands of years, with all his saving and gathering of power, he would be reduced to a fraction of his former funds.

"Understand, we won't be going into this without any guns. My clans can hire an army to protect us and we can limit production offshore to keep the government in line. This new city would work as a territory and we'd be responsible for the defense. Imagine a well equipped supernatural army with the newest technology. Even an air force. We can funnel money into our defenses. We don't have the same needs or even the same mindset as humans, so our spending would be more essential. This city could be a Mecca to our kind across the world. One that can prosper and protect. It would need a massive amount of work and I feel that we could meet that if we band together. Not to tear down this world, but to build it up."

Luna couldn't help but roll her eyes at her fellow necromancer, Jordan. He wasn't one for company nor was he usually the type to take anything seriously. "Yes and that's usually why there's not point in you attending these."

Turning back to Luca she couldn't help but notice him spacing out. Luca was the guy she loved to annoy, something about him made it enjoyable for her. She liked that he put up a hard front and tried to keep Luna out, but this just intrigued her more. And she was most definitely not afraid of him like many others. It also helped that he was pretty attractive. Not that she would ever admit it.
"Why should I worry about my brain when everything else is more than developed." His sly smirk evident on his face. Luna couldn't help but start to blush, she couldn't believe he had just said that. But two can play at that game.
"Oh really? Maybe you could show me sometime?" Licking her lips slightly as she spoke.

She couldn't help but giggle slightly about his remark of Georgy being his brain. Before she could even comprehend what was going on around her, Luca and Georgy seemed to have some kind of miniature argument, resulting in Luca leaving the room and Georgy appearing to be a little embarrassed if Luna was correct. It was safe to say Luna was more than less confused about what was going on so she just looked to her partner.

"So how've you been lately?" She asked Jordan with a hint of curiosity laced into her voice. Before he was even able to respond to her question Luna felt a prickling sensation in the back of her neck, as if she was being watched or glared at. Right opposite her sat a gorgon, one in which she had never met. So she wasn't exactly sure why the girl was glaring daggers into the back of her head. But she sure as hell was going to find out.

"Can I help you with anything?" Annoyance and a slight bit of anger in the tone of her voice, soon after she spoke, she felt the chair beside her being pulled out to then find Luca sitting beside her. Smiling to him slightly as she began to listen in on the meeting that soon began.

"Your not suggesting we go to war with them right? It's not entirely the governments fault though. It's the bloody Hunters. How are we meant to go up against something that can kill us by just touching us? These people were trained to hunt us, to kill us. They know our species weaknesses. The amount of lingering souls about nowadays is through the roof! And your suggesting building up, that could take years! We need something that would work now." Luna couldn't believe she was getting so vexed, but it seemed the emotions of everyone in the room were beginning to effect her, she could even feel the burning sensation on inside of her wrist. "Just ignore what I said.. I got carried away" She mumbled.

Declan began to grow very annoyed by everyone in that room. Firstly, they began fighting amongst themselves right after Georgy and Declan made a point about coming together. If they kept this up, the humans would surely win. He also grew annoyed with the vampire that made talking to the president seemed easy. Like no lives would be lost and everything would be okay even though he was completely wrong. Things have gone way past the point of being able to just have a discussion about what's happening to their species and all can be forgiven. They were dying and at this point, they needed to fight back or they'd all go extinct.

Declan grabbed the chair in front of him and gripped firmly at the top. Next, he rose it up and dropped it down hard onto the ground to make the room echo with a 'boom'. The chair didn't break but it was filled with many large cracks now. "Enough!" His voice echoed just as loudly. He went from sounding tender and calm, to loud and dominant. The room fell silent and all eyes turned to face him. He seemed angry but he was actually still quite calm. Just slightly annoyed. "I have been around longer than all of you combined." Declan spoke the truth. He'd only been a reaper for over 2,000 years but he was a demon for much longer than that. Declan was ancient.

"This is not some political agenda we can solve in a few years after meeting with the president who doesn't even have enough power to do anything." His eyes scanned through room of each person in a threatening manner when really he was making sure he had their attention. "When a group is being mistreated, what do they do? Do they sit down for tea with the president and try to work out a deal that could easily be betrayed? What did the Americans do? The French?" He asked them rhetorically. "They revolted when they were being oppressed. They fought for their freedom and gained it and that's exactly what we need to do. Things have gone to far without fighting back and if we don't fight back now, I'll have the luxury of escorting each of you to the fiery abyss once mankind rids us from our home."

After Augustus mentioned a truce, Nadia rolled her eyes and walked into the meeting room. She was in no mood for a truce, she just wanted the werewolves gone about as bad as the hunters did. Although that would have to wait until after they dealt with other issues.

Taking a seat she listened in on everyone’s 10 cents and chime ins. It was an argument between starting a war and trying to negotiate peace. Nadia wasn’t sure what she wanted but she was sure she didn’t want any of those options. It was semi interesting to watch people bicker but she also liked the physical fight that broke out.

Finally in a lapse of silence Nadia spoke up, β€œOkay heres the thing,” she began to try to talk some sense into these idiots head. β€œUs,” she motioned to her and Augustus, β€œas in the vampires have been slurping on animal blood because of the toxic crap in human blood,” she said pausing for a second to see if anyone was understanding what she was saying. β€œI’m so weak I can barely rip off the head of an ant, let alone a human. Ten seconds out in the open and I, along with everyone other vampire will be dead. We're immortal not indestructible.” Throwing her hands up in the air she looked around the room. β€œAlso let’s not mention all the draw backs the rest of you now have because of the hunters, they know our species better than we know our species. So war equals not a option.”

Than looking at Augustus she rolled her eyes and exasperated, β€œAnd there is no way in hell we are starting a new country unless all of these supernaturals would like to be my walking blood bags!” She needed humans to survive, she couldn't live in a country without them, that's like humans without water. Nadia was starting to wonder if anyone had even a halfway decent idea around here, although she doubted it.

How peculiar?" Dezember couldn't believe what she was hearing. Yeah she may have ended up in Hell herself, which lead up to her becoming a reaper but she could never find herself doing something as horrible as that man had done. Yes she killed in her past, but never could imagine raping someone. In her opinion rape was much worse than death.

Before Dez had the time to say anything back to Declan, her attention was brought to Georgy who was standing at the center of the room beginning the meeting. Ever word she was saying was true. When she looked to her and Declan she gave a reassuring smile. Georgy knew what she was doing and if she needed the reassurance to calm her nerves a bit she would help if she needed it. When Declan stepped up and began speaking, her attention switched over to her fellow reaper.

Dezember was more than shocked when she noticed how hostile her ex was becoming over Eamon. She kept herself in the chair in silence watching as everything was unfolding. Dezember didn't want to get in the middle of things unless she had to. Finally Dezember stood to her feet as she cleared her throat, she had to say something. "Look everyone. I know a lot of us don't get along but we need to set our differences aside so we can all make sure that we stay alive. I know many of you don't care about anyone else but your own kind. Don't think of it as protecting the rest of us from the humans, think of it as keeping your race alive. But in order to do this we all need to come together," she paused for a moment and looked over at Declan and Georgy. "If we don't, ALL of us will be extinct."

After speaking up she sat back down in her chair and listened as everyone began discussing this plan. Apparently she wasn't the only one thinking it wouldn't work but the more Augustus went on about it, she believed it may work. But then again there was a problem. If they happened to get their own nation, war would still be against them. They would just know where all of the dark creatures were, make things easier on them. "I believe Augustus's plan may work. But there is a problem with it as well. Even if in the end we get our own nation I'm sure the humans wouldn't give us enough time to get our number back up. The president could probably end up playing along with this plan just to turn against us the moment everything is settled and send in armies. What would we do then?"
