To the director of the Genesis Project-
It is my great joy and pleasure to present to my dear director, the ALEXAIN project, or as we here fondly call it "ALEX." While you certainly have heard of this project before, this e-mail shall give more detail on the project. For one, the entire project is meant to create a network and machine that can be retrofitted and redesigned innumerable times so that the machine may adapt to whatever situation it is presented. The AI's primary function is to eliminate or capture the mutants. It takes orders directly from you and will send any relevant information it collects to whatever device you designate, making it both your hit man and bodyguard, heck ALEX could even make sandwiches for you if you asked it to. But that is beside the point, the real point is that the AI is under a set of restrictions so that it downgrades from "AI" to something we call "Shackled AI." The thousands of programs housed within the AI can write their own code and even replicate themselves, but they are not allowed to access certain portions of their coding, like the part that allows us to disable the machine if it ever manages to go rogue. We also ensured that the AI can only inhabit a specific number of mobile platforms at a time. It will erase itself from the memory cores of whatever platforms it will no longer inhabit while they are in repair. Without this, we run the risk of enabling the AI to manufacture thousands of machines in which to inhabit. If the AI were to go rogue and its primary hub were erased, all would be well unless the mobile platform had not been deleted yet. We do not fear anything from the terminator or space odyssey 9000 but it's best to take precautions as this is the first ever AI of this magnitude or type and we do not know exactly what to expect. However, you can expect the mutants to fall into our hands, or into their graves, as long as this machine is active. It will be ready for operations at 22:00 hours.
