Nobody wanted to believe the existence of magic, let alone witches. Sure, people would be accused every now and again of practicing a religion other than the country defined one. Those people would be hanged or burned and accused of Witchcraft, but nobody ever really knew what it meant...Until the Dead Crow Society made a name for themselves in the country, flaunting spectacular powers and boasting of a religion like no other. People didn't see this as a good thing, that these people could do strange things and had odd powers at their disposal. They hunted the members of the Society down and killed any they got ahold of.

The remainder fled for their lives, afraid that their end too would be coming soon. They found a new place to stay, a certain Village that seemed to be a hub for the supernatural. Easton was everything they ever hoped for, and soon their numbers swelled once more to restore the glory and power that they once were....Only with their power came trouble. Demons swamped Easton in hordes like no other, drawn in by the scent of magic.

The Dead Crow Society knew they would have to protect their home sooner or later, but they never had imagined that it would be sooner. For years upon years they fought of the demon threat, but never could get the upper hand in the battle. So they did the only thing they could do...Bore children that could in the future save Easton from the Demonic threat.

Setting: Set in the late 1900’s to the modern 2000’s of an Alternate Universe that consists of Religion abiding citizens. The focused Country is an alternate America where a Freedom of Religion law was never passed and a new religion has formed on the basis of Christianity. The Religion here prevents woman and men alike from practicing any Religion other than their own, and any who do are either killed by hanging or by purging of the evil in their soul (Burning.) Women in fact are more common to be accused of Witch Craft if they do not follow the ordained orders of the church.

The Dead Crow Society itself is held within the bowels of a religious town called Easton (Formerly Easton Village.) Where they have their own safe house guarded by wards and spells. However Easton isn’t as safe as they think, with many different kinds of people being drawn in by the scent of Magic in the air. Demons have begun to haunt the town, leaving it up to the Dead Crow Society to fix the mess they have created.

Our Characters will be of the Witch/Warlock kind. This will be set in modern times with “Flashback” Scenarios to the time when the Dead Crow Society first began learning of the Demon Plague they brought with them the characters themselves will be Demon Hunters hired to keep Easton City protected from the millions of Demons while hiding their supernatural abilities from the humans.
