Sarah let out a huff as she walked out of the local grocery store. Her left hand gripped her purse strap as she went on her way. Sarah made her way to the nearby Coffee shop. She went all the time, but never got coffee. She smiled at the woman in a blue vest behind the counter. It was relatively empty so she just strolled up to the front of the register. She opened her pursed and fished out three one dollar bills and set them on the counter. She checked her purse once over before closing it shut and looking up at the waitress. "One hot chocolate with extra whipped cream." She spoke with a soft and sweet voice, but a dull tone.

"So the usual than?" The woman at the register giggled and turned and began making the beverage. "I don't even know why we ask for your order anymore."

This made Sarah chuckle as she found a seat she'd reserved the drink to the name she always used. Starscream. She was a huge transformers fan. So this gave her a chuckle when she was called up. She reached in her pocket before she sat down and pulled out her phone. She checked the pages she usually went to while bored and waiting, hoping for something to happen!

Kyle dragged his feet as he left the tiny grocery store. Work was long and he hated loading the shelves and freezers. He didn't really have any room to complain though. It was the only job in the whole town. So he'd taken it.

On his way home, Kyle passed a coffee shop, looking into the window without really realizing it. He suddenly became aware when he saw a somewhat familiar face in the other side of the glass. It was one of the other workers! Sarah, was it? She'd been very helpful on his first day.

Kyle had stopped walking without noticing. He decided "what the hell?" and entered the little coffee shop. he took the table directly in front of Sarah, feeling too awkward to actually talk to her.

The waitress bounced over with a sweet smile pasted on her face. "What can i getchya?"

"Just a water please." He said rubbing his thigh to eel for any spare money in his pocket. Like usual, there was none there.

Sarah looked up from her phone. She smiled at him. "You're the new guy, right? I remember helping you, but I don't think I ever gave you my name. Sarah Barrey, how do ya do?" She offered him her hand. She'd never be this talkative to anyone but a work mate. She was about to wait for his reply when she heard her name get called out by the woman at the counter.

"Starscream! Your Hot chocolate is ready!!" The woman shouted with a very poor imitation of Megatron.

"Whoops, my bad.." She pushed herself up and strolled over to get her drink. After putting the cap on, and a coat around the hot drink she strolled over back to her seat. "Anyhow...Did you need something guy?"

Starscream, huh? Kyle could relate to that. He sat patiently as Sarah went to get her order. When she came back, she sat back in her seat with grace.

"Anyhow... Did you need something?" she had a pleasant voice that made talking to her a bit easier.

"Just needed some water." and, just as if on cue the waitress brought him his cup. he took it and stood up, coming to sit at Sarah's table. He didn't think she'd even notice her from his own table, but apparently he was wrong. "But since we're both here, how are you doing? Now that you don't have to be professional."

"But since we're both here, how are you doing? Now that you don't have to be professional?" He asked her and she noticed his kind face.

She smiled at him and shrugged. "I'm alright, work was killer today! I got yelled at for looking a customer in the eye. THE EYE!?" She threw her hands up dramatically and broke out into a giggle fit. She hoped he was laughing, or else she'd look like a total weirdoh.

Kyle laughed along with Sarah.

"That's insane. Aren't we, like, SUPPOSED to do that?" he chuckled and shook his head.

Sarah snorted and took a sip of her hot chocolate. She continued and smiled. "Yeah! The customer ALWAYS thinks they are right, but funny enough thats rarely the case. Most customers are normal, but some are completely rediculous. Mostly the men in my opinion though, bunch of pigs..." She crossed her arms and frowned, then looked at him and shot her hands up worriedly. "Not you of course!"

Kyle laughed a little and gave her a half smile. "I knew what you meant. You're right. Guys can be pretty gross sometimes." he hoped that he was never one of those guys. He'd always tried to treat women with respect. "Just because the customer's always 'right'-" he formed quotation marks in the air with his fingers "-does not mean they are know everything. Clearly they don't know what we're trained to do." he leaned back in his chair.

Sarah chortled at this. "What we do isn't hard, thats why we can do it. Customers are just stupid, but I guess saying that makes us stupid to. We are customers some times as well..." She giggled at this.

"Aahhh, but you see." Kyle leaned forward, crossing his arms and resting his elbows on the table. "We know the rules for the workers, therefore knowing how to be smart customers. Or at least not rude ones." Kyle chuckled. "We at least know how to treat our kind. Don't you think, Starscream?"
