Name: Juniper Mae Fallon
Nickname: Juni to close friends.
Age: 18
Birth date: March 18th
Sexuality: Straight
Camp: Maydon
Cabin:Cabin No. 2

Powers: Animal Mimicry.
Juniper can mimic the abilities of animals. She can’t physically turn into them but rather she exhibits their traits. For instance she can swing like a monkey, sprint like a cheetah, move like a cat, take the strength of an ant, and so on, taking on traits of whatever animal she chooses. She can only take on one animal’s traits at a time and her abilities are limited only to animals she has observed. While she can easily switch from one animal to another, switching around takes a lot of energy and after about 6 switches in a short burst she usually gets pretty drained and can’t imitate any more animals. Though it is only switching between animals that wears her out, she can mimic one animal continuously without switching for hours with it barely effecting her.
Like stated, switching between animals wears her out. She also can only mimic animals she’s observed in person, though she’s counteracted this weakness by many trips to zoos. She also can only mimic one particular animal at a time. Mimicking animals also makes her incredibly hungry.
Another weakness if even after she has observed an animal and can mimic their abilities, without practicing the abilities and learning how to use them effectively they are pretty much useless. When she mimics an animal’s traits it’s like she learns a whole lot of news skill but to how to effectively use the skills.

Likes: Animals, bright colours, zoos, picture books, surfing, the ocean, sand, trees, day dreaming, summer, sunshine, grass, ribbons, food, being outdoors, fruit.
Dislikes: Eating meat, grey, nuts, spicy food and sauces, mean spirited people, indoors, boredom, reading, books, disharmony, bad smells.
Imprisonment, which extends to a slight fear on enclosed and small spaces
Her own death

Running, playing any sports, climbing things, collecting all manner of things.

“Well, personally I had wanted to go to Fairview, it had seemed like a better fit for my personality and I was wary of the cabin grading system at Maydon. Since I was forced to go to Maydon though, I’ve come around to it, the grading system pushes you to work harder and achieve your best, and it has really help me develop my powers and learn to control them more. I hold no ill view to the Fairview guys, but a little rivalry never hurt anyone.”

Juniper is an outdoors person through and through. Surfing and being out on the waves is her favourite activity, but she enjoys pretty much anything you can do that involves being outside. She has played every sport under the sun at some point in her life, and was good at pretty much all of them, though she never stuck with just one or two always changing her mind and moving from sport to sport. At home almost every day she’d have some game or training session for a sport. There’s something about the sun shining down and the wind in her hair that she just can’t explain. No matter what she was doing, she’d always prefer to be outside.

Juniper is a massive tomboy, from a young age she was always following the boy around trying to outdo them. She’d run faster then them, climb taller trees than them and to this day still prefers sport to fashion and gossip. She doesn’t dress like a tomboy and actually put effort into her appearance, her sisters beating it into her from a young age, but she still acts like one. She won’t think twice about trudging through mud or doing an activity that would get her clothes dirty.

The general impression people get of Juniper is that all the fresh air and water has gone to her head leaving it a little too vacant. She’s completely laid back and honestly seems like she couldn’t care less, she seems to just ride her life through the ups and down never getting too fussed over anything. She just seems like the type of person that has no troubles and is so casual with everything. She’s also a hard person to offend or get on the wrong side of, since she’s so laid back. She just kind of accepts everyone as they are, not really overly bothered about if they’re a mean person or whatnot. If someone doesn’t like her, she just shrugs her shoulders and moves on, not really bothered if a few people don’t like her.

A common misconception, is that because of her relaxed uncaring persona that Juniper is ‘simple.’ Not that she ever corrects anyone who thinks this about her, but while juniper is incredibly easy going, she isn’t someone to be taken lightly. She may not be book smart, but just because she has a relaxed personality doesn’t mean she’s stupid or naïve. She notices things just like everyone else, she also is always thinking outside the box and is quite resourceful.

Juniper is also a kind friend, she’s unjudging, and while she’s laid back, she isn’t uncaring or apathetic. Should would go to the ends of the earth for a friend, and she can’t stand to see someone in pain of suffering. In a time of need any close friends of hers know she’s there to listen, and rest easy knowing she’s not the type to partake in gossip or share people’s secrets.

Juniper’s parents had five children, all girls and Juniper was the. Throughout all the town it was obvious to everyone how similar all the Fallon girls were, though they all different here and there, to everyone they all seemed to similar. Then there was Juniper who seemed so different to her four older sisters. They had similarities like their laidback personalities and all het Fallon’s loved surfing, but that was where the similarities ended. Her sisters were very girly, who loved dressing up and reading magazines, while Juniper wanted to play sports and climb trees.

Of course Juniper’s father was overawed with his daughter’s love of sports, since he never had a son, he saw Juniper as the next best thing. He actively encouraged her tomboy behaviour and though he never said it everyone knew Juniper was his favourite daughter and they both were incredibly close. Some of Juniper’s fondest memories were off the two of them playing soccer and catch at the park down the road from her house.

Juniper’s eldest sister Claire also had the power to mimic animals traits, apparently passed down from the girl paternal grandmother. None of the other girls developed any powers, but it was no surprise to Juniper when she was 12 and started occasionally being able to do strange and unexplainable feats. When it came to choosing which camp to go to, Juniper had wanted to choose Fairview, but her older sister Claire, had gone to Maydon and insisted to their parents that Juniper should go there too. Claiming it was the better of the camps. Juniper wasn’t really one to kick up a fuss though so she just packed her bags and headed to Maydon and has been going there every summer since.
Other: Juniper is a vegetarian, not like an overly judgemental one, but just her personal choice.

So begins...

Lake Meadstone
The Amphitheatre
12.30 pm

Midday has passed and the campers from each side have just finished lunch. Many slowly wonder towards the amphitheatre, the meeting place for the beginning of the game. At 1pm the camp directors will begin by explaining the rules for the capture the flag. Maydon and Fairview might not get along, but the directors have made sure to set out a variety of rules to give the impression of cooperation. If those rules are actually followed, well that's another question.
Until then each camper has an opportunity to analyse their opponents. Or, alternatively, they might just want to have as much time to prepare themselves for the coming 'game'. Whatever they decide everyone must be at the amphitheatre in time and ready to begin the Decider.

Nona Syborn sat at the back of the amphitheatre, halfway along the row. Her legs were cross and her elbows rested behind her as she reclined on the sloped grass. A small smirk played across her face as her eyes swept across the arriving students. Nona had made her way early to the amphitheatre, all the better to sort through the gifts of the campers from Fairview. She knew that there were strong powers in the other camp and the longer she had to assess what was what, the better her ability to replicate them. Of course it also let her assess more than just each camper's power.

Her smirk turned to an expression of disdain as a power on the edge of her range indicated an approaching camper. Emmy South wondered into the amphitheatre, her expression as empty and distracted as could be expected. Nona had never liked the girl, but she had to admit that Emmy's power of gravity manipulation was one she never passed a chance to replicate. Luckily Nona would soon have a vast range of gifts to pick from. She would wait until the games actually started too, all the better to lengthen the time she could replicate each gift. She had already decided that, Markson Maydon's, Maydon's director, power was one she would use in the game. Sure, she could only create blasts of wind and balls of flame so far, but give her a chance and she'd soon be able to manipulate all the elements like he could.

Nona's eyes scanned those present and those arriving, hoping to find someone she liked. Josh was always fun to flirt with and since he was in fairview she wasn't bored with him yet. Or perhaps she would amuse herself by playing with one of Maydon's shyest. Her eyes fell upon Noah Fenton, inhabitant of cabin three and currently fidgeting nervously as he waited for everyone to arrive. As if he sensed her gaze Noah frooze and Nona felt her interest slip away.

Emmy was reading, the book currently held most of her attention and if it wasn't for the almost subconscious use of her powers she most likely would have fallen over long ago. She bit her lip as she flipped the page over and kept walking. She was aimed vaguely in the direction of the amphitheatre, it was almost time for the game to begin. But Emmy was determined to finish her book before that happened, which was why she was now walking and reading.

A set of steep stairs appeared in front of her. Instead of tripping and falling down them she simply continued walking in a straight line, her powers letting her float over the top of them. She really didn't even need to move her legs since she could basically make herself fly. She could just float to the amphitheatre if she wanted to really. A moment later she stopped, simultaneously realising that she was several feet above the stairs and coming to the end of her book. She closed the book with a satisfied thump and a moment later lowered herself to the ground. Then, leaving gravity to act naturally, she walked the rest of the way to the amphitheatre.

The area itself had once been used as the gathering place for when the camps were one, or at least that's what Augustus Axel one of the Fairview staff members had told her. Whatever it had once been, the amphitheatre was now used to stage the beginning and end of the annual grudge match between the two camps.

The stands were relatively empty at the moment. Emmy spotted Nona at the back, her eyes scanning the campers for someone to bully no doubt. Others were seated already and many were still to come. Emmy took a seat in the front row on the fairview side of the gathering. She rested her elbows on her knees and her chin in her hands and waited for the fun to begin.

Noah was nervous. He disliked the thought of going into this 'game'. It would, undoubtedly, turn violent. He knew that there were grudges, he even had some of his own. But where he differed from some of the other campers was in his powers. His powers were only good for escaping. They weren't offensive at all. Others had the type of powers that could start wars.
Extreme sports, bungy jumping and so on were things he could handle. He loved those kind of challenges, but put him face to face with another person who was threatening him and Noah became slightly less than willing. Sure, he could basically escape any situation but he liked to think that that was also because he knew when to avoid them too.

Noah sat at the front, closest to the exit that led back to camp Maydon and his safe cabin. It was his habit to make sure he had a quick getaway. He could feel eyes on the back of his neck. Perhaps it was his powers or perhaps it was instinct, but he stopped fidgeting and soon felt the pressure vanish. Feeling relieved Noah stretched out his legs and glanced up at Mr Maydon, the director of his camp. He was a hard man who believed that a regimented camp was better than what went on at Fairview. Noah had never been too sure. He thought that Fairview always looked like a lot more fun for someone like him with a less powerful ability.

He shook his head, now was hardly the time to be thinking about what camp he preferred. He was about to fight them after all. Well avoid was the better way to put it. Perhaps he would be tasked with running avoidance, or holding the far flank. Just as long as it wasn't anything too central and in the action. There was usually some discussion amongst each camp over the plan of attack. Maydon's plan was usually centered around the campers from cabin one.
