Name: Vivienne Danae Forrester
Nickname: Vivi, Vee, Vivā¦a lot of things can be done with Vivienne
Age: 18
Birth date: April 16th
Sexuality: Straight
Camp: Maydon
Cabin: 2
Powers: Empath - The ability to read, project and manipulate the emotions of others.
Vivienne is capable of reading other people's emotions and manipulate them as she chooses.
+ Able to plant emotional states into other people's minds. For example: Causing a person to think they're deaf, blind, old, young.
+ Can alter their perceptions to make a person believe they're conversing with someone other than Vivienne
+ Can psionically sense the emotions of others and control one emotion at a time, affecting many targets in the same area during that time or controlling the emotional states of multiple victims one at a time.
+ She can change the amount of control she has over others, such as a slight emotional push or complete emotionless autons who listen to her every wish.
+ Is adept at being able to tell if another is lying by sensing their emotions. It is extremely hard to fool Vivienne who is quite skilled at seeing through deception and through to the real emotion behind any situation.
Weaknesses:
Vivi, although quite proficient using her ability, is not immune to the side effects of massive emotions filtering through her. She often suffers from nausea, bleeding from the nose and ears and massive headaches.
She can at times lose control of her own emotions especially if she's around a lot of people. When she's bombarded like this she will try to close in on one emotion and if not she sometimes loses herself in other people's chaotic feelings.
Her ability doesn't rely on physicality, Vivi is small, petite and couldn't fight her way out of a paper bag. If you're faster or bigger than her you definitely have the upper hand unless she can get into your head and make you forget all about her.

Fears:
Being emotionally vulnerable to anyone. She's the one with the control over people's emotions, the ability to bend or manipulate them any way she chose. Not the other way around. It terrifies Vivienne to think of herself at the mercy of anyone else's emotions, something she hopefully doesn't have to worry about.
Losing her family, Vivienne is extremely close to her family and seeing as how they're all empathic as well they're the only people who truly understands Vivi and what she's going through, even if she doesn't want them to.
Vivienne is also extremely afraid of reptiles and amphibians. Many a time has she come back to her bunk to find a random frog, snake or turtle chilling beneath her sheets. When this happens no one is safe from her wrath. once she's stopped screaming that is.
Hobbies:
Vivienne is an extremely talented vocalist, she's a mezzo-soprano and loves opera. Of course her mother was an opera singer so it only makes sense.
Vivi also loves to bake, she doesn't see a future for herself as a pastry chef but no one has complained about the massive amount of brownies, cookies and cakes she's constantly giving away to anyone who seems the slightest bit hungry.
Thoughts: I got to Maydon of course. My parents and I believe in striving towards perfection and I definitely wouldn't get that at Fairview. I must say I'm a little disappointed I'm in cabin two, people don't seem to get what a powerful thing emotion is but as long as I'm not last it doesn't really matter.

Personality:
Vivi is a generally closed off person emotionally. She guards herself from displaying too much of herself or taking on anyone elseās feelings. A lifetime of being an empath has definitely taken its toll on the young girl. She prefers rigidity, strict scheduling and clarification on nearly everything which is why sheās such a good fit at Maydon, funny enough since her older sister and brother both opted for Fairview. Vivienne is well aware of her needs and what she should be doing so Maydon was a no-brainer for the young empath.
Once you can get past her shell though Vivi really opens up. Sheās often irreverent, high spirited and loves a good party. The emotions she receives from other people at parties, or big events can sometimes act like a high for the girl and she wouldnāt miss one. She just knows that she has to go in well-rested, well fed and prepared to be overwhelmed by dozens of teenagersā rampant emotions. Of course Vivi also uses her ability for her own personal gain.
If thereās someone who is interested in her and she doesnāt feel the same it doesnāt take but a moment for her to decide to just turn that off for them. Changing someoneās feelings is a lot easier than hurting them. It also tends to happen the opposite way as well, if Vivienne has an attraction to someone who doesnāt return the feeling sheāll occasionally flip a switch and change their minds and this is when she chooses to reject them much in the same way they rejected her.
Usually a fan of the truth she takes offense to being lied to and will often drag the truth from someone if she thinks itās important enough. Vivi is also a bit on the dry, witty side when it comes to humour and often times she can be mistaken for being a bit of a mean girl when in fact sheās just a bit overwhelmed most of the time. Decisive, curious and always ready for an adventure, Vivienne is quite the odd combination.
History:
Vivienne Danae Forrester was born into a family of empaths, her father and both of her siblings also inheriting the ability through genetics. So it wasnāt strange or weird for her when her ability started to manifest itself when she was around seven years old. Already prepared for this day when and if it came she wasnāt as frightened as some kids are when their powers start making themselves known. The young girl was more frustrated by her ability than anything else. She wasnāt adept at being able to keep everyoneās emotions out of her head or keeping her emotions to herself for that matter.
The Forrester siblings during their teenage years put their parents and each other through some of the worst teenage tribulations. Their empathic abilities colliding with each other and causing general confusion and turmoil. If one was sad, they were all sad, if one was feeling rebellious then they all were. It was when Vivi was twelve that her sister went away to camp for people like them and then two years later it was Viviās brotherās turn. After they returned from camp it was obvious that they had more control over their powers than they had previously and life seemed to ease up for them a bit.
Vivienne was excited and longed for the day when she was finally sixteen and sheād be able to go as well, although when it was her turn she chose Maydon instead of Fairview like her siblings had. Vivi was a girl unto her own and she wanted to be as proficient and powerful as possible and that meant hard work which is what you got when you attended Maydon.
This will be Viviās third year at Maydon and she has grown and flourished beneath their instruction, her empathic ability now surpassing her brother and sister. Of course the more powerful she became the worse the side effects were. She was constantly nauseous, or bleeding randomly not to mention the crazy headaches. Powers that involved the mind like hers, or telepathy put an extremely large strain on the body. Hopefully by the time sheās finished with her time at Maydon she will have learned ways to deal with these weaknesses, she hopes at least.
Other: Anything else you want to add.
