Frankie has been said to have the beauty of her mother with the personality of her father. She is a very pretty young woman, in a girl next door type of way. She is of average stature, and of a slightly more slender yet muscular. She usually wears her hair naturally which has a slight beachy wave to it and stretches down a few inches past her shoulders. When she isn't her in her mother's Spider Gwen suit, Frankie has a more modest preppy style of fashion. She's never been one to dress promiscuously and her style suits her best. Generally that consists of vintage type clothing like knee length skirts, cardigans and blouses.

M A R K I N G S
Frankie has one tattoo of a spider on her ribcage. Although it seems a tad bit cliche, she got it for her mother. The spider represents her when she was Spider Gwen, while the flower and beauty just stands for the amazing woman she was.

Caring ✫ Friendly ✫ Playful ✫ Sweet

Frankie is the living definition of the girl next door. She is genuinely a teddy bear type of person who always tries to see the best in everyone else. She has a big heart, and finds herself caring about so many people that it often makes it difficult for her to do what's necessary being a super hero. Frankie tries to always look at the bright side of things and be optimistic.

Although she seems sweet and kind most the time that does not mean she doesn't get hurt. Frankie tries not to take hurtful things people say to heart, but certain thins will hurt her more than she would care to admit. But she tries not to show how people hurt she is, and saves that for when she is alone. On a similar note, she may not seem like the kind of person who gets angry, and it is a rare site. But when she is pushed to that point, she tends to be angry enough to bring tears to her eyes and often her anger in accompanied with silence rather than shouting.

Frankie is the only child to Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy. When she was a little girl, not much older than a baby her mother died. No matter how much Frankie asks her father about it, he'll never truly tell her what happened because he blames himself for her mother's death. What she's been told is that she looks like a twin of her mother and because of that Peter takes extra care in making sure his little girl is safe because he couldn't lose her too.

Peter had no idea if his daughter was going to inherit his and Gwen's abilities because when conceived, they both had their spider like powers. But when Frankie was a young toddler, she showed her first signs of having the same gifts her father and mother had. It wasn't some crazy situation where she discovered them, but more simply was brought to attention when how easily she seemed to climb trees at an age so young, most children were lucky to be running without falling over. It increasingly became more predominant as she grew up until the point where she was climbing walls when throwing temper tantrums to get away from her father.

As Frankie became a young teenager, Peter realized that no matter what he tried to do, he couldn't keep her a young girl forever. Especially when she had powers like him and Gwen, but some were even slightly more enhanced than his own due to the combination of his and Gwen's genes. So, much to his dissatisfaction, Peter began to train her in her free time when she wasn't going to school and in gymnastics. Everything she learned came to her easily. In no time she was able to keep up with her Dad and they often spent their evenings swinging around the city.

Frankie didn't stop at High School, but went to college at Yale. Peter didn't care what she majored in, but purely wanted her to have a degree under her belt so she always has that option to quit the superhero life and try to have a normal life. But Frankie never wanted that, she looked up to her father more than anything and wanted to be just like him and Gwen. She graduated with a degree in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology so that someday she might better understand what mutated her father, and passed onto her. At her graduation, Peter gave Frankie her mother's old Spider Gwen suit, and told her about The Descendant Academy, agreeing to send her there now that she had a degree from a renowned school. Peter is proud of Frankie in many ways, from graduating from Yale, to wanting to follow in his footsteps. He just doesn't want her to follow too closely in her mother's.

In Frankie's words...
"My penthouse is pretty simple. It does it's function and that's all I need, but I made it fun with splashes of color to brighten it up and make the giant concrete building feel less like a prison and more like a home. I also had a balcony put in off my floor so I can just go out swinging whenever I want. Oh, and I have a rock climbing wall and some gymnastic equipment where most people would have their livings rooms. I also got "Franken-Spider" put on my wall because that's my nickname my Dad gave me."

Alex could help but fidget with discomfort as she looked at herself in the mirror. If only she could ditch this stupid dance and go out for a run or work on experiments with Nathaniel instead of making him her date. Why did Bruce have to force her to go to this thing? Ugh, she hated dances and she hated having to wear a dress but of course dear ol' Bruce insisted on it. It wasn't like she looked bad or anything. It was plain black and short so it didn't draw attention on her but it looked cute on her and she actually had her makeup done and her hair curled for once. Alex still felt like she wasn't herself though. She'd rather be in jeans and a t shirt with some kick ass leather boots.

There was a knock at the door and Alex may have rushed over a little too quickly hoping it was Nathaniel so they could get in and out of that dance as quickly as possibly but of course it had to be Bruce Wayne instead trying to play the role of Dad. "You look beautiful, Alex." He smiled down at her but Alex wasn't buying any of it as she folded her arms and glared at him. "Well you bought it." Alex couldn't help but smirk at the way his face changed over her announcement. "How did you?" Alex shrugged. "Flirted with the right witch."

Bruce was no pleased with her but that only made Alex's night a little bit better. Well since I already paid for your dress... I also got you another gift." Bruce revealed a small box he'd been hiding behind his back. It had a white corsage made of a single rose. Alex wasn't sure what to say as he tied it around her wrist but she did manage to mutter a, "Thanks." He laughed softly. "What's that? Alex Todd is actually thanking me?" Alex rolled her eye and gave him a gentle shove. "Whatever, old man." She walked passed him and to the door. "You're keeping me from my 'date'."

Alex hurried off down the hall playing with the flower around her wrist but quickly stopped in case Bruce was still watching while she searched for Nathaniel's room. She eventually found it and gave a gentle knock. "I'm coming in." She turned the knob thankful it was unlocked and that she wouldn't need to break in this time. She folded her arms as she waited for him. "Nice job breaking gender stereotypes by taking longer than me to get ready."

"Well aren't you the devil in disguise." Junior continued to admire his own reflection as he straightened out his tie and begin completing his look for the night. He used a thin tooth cob and some pomade to slick back his curls and even trimmed his beard so he looked clean yet still ruggedly handsome as ever. Junior simply couldn't get enough of how spectacular he looked in the tux he picked out with Enzo. He was going to be the best dressed and most desired man of the night.

A knock at the door managed to distract Junior from his reflection long enough to answer it. He was pleased to see Enzo waiting on the other side and smirked as he leaned against the door frame. "Oh my..." Junior looked him over. "I'm not sure I should let you leave looking this good." He chuckled a bit. "But then again, I will enjoy showing off my fellow king." He grinned and closed the door behind him as he put an arm out for Enzo. "Shall we go meet our subjects?"

Suddenly the name monkey suit made all too much sense to Freddie as he fidgeted around with the outfit Frankie picked out for him for tonight. He felt so uncomfortable in this contraption and like he wasn't himself. Still, tonight was Frankie's night so he manned up about the suit and even shaved his beard like she asked. Probably the only time he'd shave after being told.

Freddie straightened his tie up in the mirror and grabbed what he needed before leaving his room. he went down a floor to find Frankie's room and took a deep breathe before knocking on the door. He had half a mind to run away and forget this whole dance but he wasn't the type of guy to abandon his best friend. So instead, he waited at the door with a corsage in hand. He decided to lean up against the door frame with one arm when she opened the door and gave a big smirk. "Hey there, Cinderella. Ready to go to the ball?"

"Oh my..." Enzo glanced up from the cane he twirled behind his left palm, grasping the question mark at the top to stop it from spinning. "I'm not sure I should let you leave looking this good." He gave a slight smirk at the comment. Regardless if Junior let him go or not. He wasn't going to waste such an outfit for only one set of eyes to behold it. "But then again, I will enjoy showing off my fellow king."

Enzo rolled his eyes before pushing off the wall. He honestly couldn't care less about becoming crowned anything. He was never one for the popularity contest or whatever else. But he wasn't in the mood to fight either. So instead of stirring the pot and ruining a potentially normal evening, he simply kept his thoughts to himself and let Junior slip his arm under his before leading him down the hall with the soft tap of the metal cane on the tile. "Shall we go meet our subjects?"

The elevator ride was uneventful due to the lack of any others on it aside from himself and Junior. Once they reached the rather large and absurd "ballroom." Enzo couldn't deny that he was disappointed in the outcome. "What's the point of a party when no one entertaining comes. Not even a mouthy Merc to stir the pot." He was surprised the resident party thrower wasn't present but then again, she probably wanted to make a quite large and abrupt entrance.

Wren was using her free hand to fidget with the red silk neckline of her dress trying to keep her mind from anything but the possibility of Christian changing his mind. Not that she'd force him to go or anything, but to the best of her knowledge no one is this damned academy invited her to anything, especially not as their date. It made her nervous... Uneasy. She wasn't the most tolerable person and she definitely had a gift at ruining... Well everything. The distraction wasn't working as her mind toiled over everything.

It was to the point where she nearly didn't notice that Christian had answered his door. Wren glanced up, her hand freezing as it was in the process of fiddling with the silk. Her eyes took in his appearance from head to toe and she couldn't help but smile at how well he cleaned up. But when her gaze met his she couldn't help but notice he was staring at her. She laughed nervously, her cheeks even hinting at a feint blush as she brushed back loose curls behind her ear.

She cleared her throat as she stepped forward, pulling the box from behind her. "I got you something." Wren wiggled the box slightly before opening it to reveal a boutonniere. Instead of the traditional rose she went for something that was more rugged and suited Christian well with a hint of red that matched her dress perfectly. She opened the box, pulling out the small floral arrangement before reaching around him to rest the box on a table inside his door.

"Stand still so I don't poke you." She smiled slightly as she carefully pinned the boutonniere to his lapel. "Perfect." Wren lightly patted his chest as she looked up at him. She then slowly slid her arm under his, resting her hand on his forearm. Her other hand scooped up the train of her dress before slowly leading him down towards the elevator. "Don't let me fall." She laughed nervously, "I never wear these clown shoes."

Wren remained quiet as they waited for the elevator then entered it which was very unlike her. It wasn't until about halfway through the ride that she glanced over at him, speaking in a more hushed tone even though they were the only ones in there. "You look really handsome by the way." Her hand carefully reached up to lightly tug a few strands of his hair free. She liked being able to still see a part of his normal self from behind the tuxedo.

***

Frankie was still pacing around her room, chewing nervously on her thumb nail when she heard the knock on the door. "Shit..." She ran towards the door, running into the armrest of her sofa which caused her her trip but thankfully not fall. She tried to straight herself before opening the door to find Freddie waiting with corsage in hand.

"Hey there, Cinderella. Ready to go to the ball?"

His smirk made her smile followed by an extremely nervous laugh. "Yes." She nearly stepped out of her loft before realizing she was still in her robe, "I mean no..." She went to scratch her head but remember that her hair and make up were already done. "God I'm sorry." Her gaze fell and caught a glimpse of the corsage he held. "A corsage? That's so sweet." Her smile was sympathetic but still showing some of her internal freak out she was having. "Come in, I'll be back in one second." She held up her index finger before running through her penthouse towards her bedroom.

The hard and long part was done thankfully, so it only took her a minute or two to wiggle into her mermaid style dress. It probably took her longer trying to zip up the damned thing and hop into her heels. But in no time she returned to Freddie trying to give her bravest smile. "Ok... I'm ready." She took a deep breath.

Frankie wouldn't say it but she was nervous beyond words. Not about Freddie, if anything he was probably the only reason she didn't talk herself out of going to the dance and just staying in her pajamas all night. She hated that it gave her such a pit in her stomach to think of going to this dance and seeing Nathaniel there with another girl. Frankie hated stupid crushes and wish she could just flip it off like a switch but she couldn't. But she promised Freddie and she was going to keep that promise.

"What's the point of a party when no one entertaining comes. Not even a mouthy Merc to stir the pot." Junior managed a frown over Enzo's comment as he looked around the room to take in it's lack of guests. Well, he was noticeably upset for only a few moments before he spoke. "Well, we have a genius, a meathead, a girl with serious daddy issues, a guy who can sing, a lunatic, a witch, the human vibrator, and some others I'm sure are entertaining and freaky like me." Junior paused to take a breathe finally. "I think that has the making's of a fun and hopefully dangerous party."

Junior gave a grin as he eyed the dance floor and turned over to his date. "I'm feeling the sudden urge to dance. Care to join me?" He gave a wink as he moon walked his way onto the dance and laughed as he began moving along to the beat hoping Enzo would join him. Might as well have some fun tonight.

Freddie felt like he'd been waiting in Frankie's dorm for ages. It wasn't like he was complaining though. At least, that's what he told himself. He didn't want to go this dance in the first place anyways so Frankie could take as long as she wanted. Freddie just stood there twiddling his thumbs while he waited some more. "Ok... I'm ready." Considering he didn't want to go to the dance, a long deep sigh somehow managed to escape from Freddie after Frankie's announcement. So maybe a small part of him didn't hate the idea after all. Wasn't like he was going to admit it any time soon.

Though Freddie had not been prepared for the effect his best friend would have when she stepped back into the room. "Wow." Was all he could muster for the time being as he stared at her like an idiot with a loss for words. No, he wasn't having some sudden realization about Frankie. He just wasn't blind when it came how amazing she looked right now. Freddie composed himself quickly to give a witty remark. "Are you sure your father would approve of that dress?" He smirked at her as he held the door open so they could walk to the dance.

"At least with that on, you're guaranteed to break some hearts tonight." Freddie joked around some more as they got closer to the entrance of the dance. He lost his humorous demeanor and became sincere. "That guy's an idiot... Show him what he's missing" He gave a small winking before giving her his arm and walking her through the doors for everyone to see.

God Nathaniel was so quiet. Normally Alex was used to it. Most days she actually enjoyed it considering her two best friends were the biggest loud mouths in the universe but man was his brooding silence a bit annoying tonight. She drank her bunch while she carried the entire conversation and he was just silent. It was a bit weird for a party. Finally Alex smacked him on the arm in a joking manner. "Dude, you gotta be more social. I'm eventually gonna run out of science topics and start talking about things you don't even wanna know I know about."

Alex looked back to see Jai acting like a dork as he danced with Lily. Even Junior busted out a few moves. Alex looked over at Natahniel and wiggled her eyebrows in an odd but playful manner. "Or we could dance like idiots in a high school prom movie." She didn't even wait for a response before she was swinging her hips onto the dance floor to join the other dorks getting down and funky.

Junior frowned and quickly began to point out the other options for an entertaining evening, "Well, we have a genius, a meathead, a girl with serious daddy issues, a guy who can sing, a lunatic, a witch, the human vibrator, and some others I'm sure are entertaining and freaky like me. He finally breathed after the long slew of nicknames for whomever had already arrived at the dance. "I think that has the making's of a fun and hopefully dangerous party."

Enzo rolled his eyes, adjusting his suit jacket. "I do believe that a majority of those you so poorly named off aren't even worth a sideways glance."

Junior then grinned as his gaze shifted to the dance floor. "I'm feeling the sudden urge to dance. Care to join me?"

Enzo rolled his eyes as he watched his date moonwalk onto the dance floor. "We both know the only dancing I do... is not that." He nonchalantly walked over to an empty table, propping his cane against a chair. He then unbutton his blazer and flipped the sides back as he took a seat. Enzo was never one for gyrating or anything like that. His taste in dance was much more refined and elegant. Something Junior knew even if he never heeded it.

***

"Thanks....but...it's nothing compared to you...," Christian said in response to Wren's compliment. She watched as he picked at the boutonniere with his free hand. "...You look...so much more, better than me."

Wren wanted to argue and say that he looked great yet again, but instead she placed a soft kiss upon his cheek. "Thank you." She chuckled softly as her free hand released the train of her dress to gently pull his hand away from the boutonniere. "You'll ruin it if you keep messing with it."

When the elevator dinged indicating that they've reached their floor, Wren scooped up her train yet again with her free hand. After the doors opened she stepped out and headed down the hall still holding onto Christian's arm like it was her lifeline. Heels definitely weren't her style and the last thing she needed was to be walking around like a new born deer. It seemed the closer they were to the door the tighter she grasped his arm until they finally came to a halt before the entrance. The music and conversation could be heard from the other side.

Wren took a deep breath before whispering to Christian, "Well here we go." She no doubt knew that many eyes would be on them as they entered. The crazy girl with the mouth and the crazy shut in. A double dose of crazy redhead to stir the rumor pool.

J.A.R.V.I.S. without hesitation opened the doors for them. Wren lightly squeezed Christian's arm while smiling towards him before they entered the dance. She tried not to focus for too long on the others in the room but instead took in the decorations, the layout and then her date once again. Wren released the train of her dress, moving her free hand to gently grasp his upper arm as she leaned in to speak in his ear so he could hear her over the music and crowd. "Should we get a drink or dance?"

***

"Wow," was all that Freddie could say when she was ready to go.

Frankie nervously finger the beading of her dress. "What? It's not bad is it?" She glanced at the ground mumbling, "I knew I should have just stayed hidden in my room."

"Are you sure your father would approve of that dress?" Freddie's witty tone was back in no time as he smirked towards her and held the door open.

"Hilarious." Frankie rolled her eyes before she took one last deep breathe. Glancing herself over once more in a decorative mirror, she then finally headed out the door.

They started towards the dance, the entire time Frankie was contemplating turning around and just locking herself in her room. But what she had to keep telling herself was she wasn't here for herself but her friend who had to be here or he'd be suspended... or something. "At least with that on, you're guaranteed to break some hearts tonight."

Freddie's teasing brought her out of her own mind. Frankie laughed softly. "I've never been one for breaking hearts."

They reached the door, and what Frankie hadn't expected was Freddie's more serious tone. "That guy's an idiot... Show him what he's missing."

Frankie smiled slightly as she took his arm. She took one final deep breath before she let Freddie lead her into the dance. The first thing that caught her attention was the pair of redheads that had arrived just moments prior to their own arrival. Her gaze drifted to the table filled with a lot of her classmates. But as she continued to scan the room her gaze from on Nathaniel, her smile slowly fading as she cleared her throat and grasped Freddie's arm tighter. "How about some alcohol?"
