Julia is very reminiscent of her mother, her features are enthralling and magical, yet she is humble in her manner. Her healthy skin and full hair she can thank her father for, thanks to a deal he made with the devil. Her appearance is often accompanied by stylish and colourful clothes, much unlike her parents style, her mother was aptly described as a 'backwards-talking goth princess' by her father, whilst he, himself, was a very simple man, with very simple tastes. Julia's taste is inspired by the people and media around her, she's more interested in fitting in with people that sticking with her father.

Julia was born to two of the most powerful magicians of their time, both of which coming from lineages of gifted magicians too, because of this Julia has felt the pressure to be the best she can be, but living in such a greatly cast shadow has caused her to be mindful of her drawbacks, making her more humble towards her achievements. Her talents, no matter how humble she is, are of great feat and should not be so quickly dismissed, particularly down to how she doesn't rest on her bloodline for her gifts, but rather studies the magic for hours so as she can achieve the most potential of the spell.

She is also a kind and trusting girl, her ability to make friends and keep them is inspired, she has a way of making everyone feel special and cared for. She is particularly thoughtful of others needs and sympathetic to their emotions, she'd happily drop everything for her friends, but often times these can have incredibly negative impacts, particularly due to her empathic abilities. However, she does have a particularly sarcastic and somewhat sassy approach to how she speaks to people,more than likely something she picked up from her father.

ImageBorn into a life of luxury on the Shadowcrest estate, Julia was relatively sheltered and protected, the faux servants feeling more like family than make shift to keep the estate in order. However, she rarely got to see her parents, they were close with her and adored her, yet they were more invested in their lives as heroes than as parents. That was until John had returned from a job to find the mansion under attack by Brother Night and several of his thralls.

As John battled his way through the Estate to find his wife and daughter, he missed Brother Night taking Julia away from the estate, leaving behind Zatanna's body for John to find, her soul sent to one of the deepest layers of hell in an effort to contain her. In a state of fear, Julia released her demon form for the first time and attempted to flee from Brother Night, but he overpowered her and kept her captive for a week until John finally caught up to him. After defeating Brother Night, John's anger and grief got the better of him and he put an end to Brother Night once and for all.

After the ordeal, John wiped Julia's mind and replaced her memories with a fire on the estate, a fire that killed her mother and destroyed Shadowcrest, it was this fabricated memory that made the move to an apartment seem more realistic. For a decade, the pair lived relatively peacefully, until Julia was 18 and the fabrication faded and the mental blocks faltered, causing her memories to return and for her trust in her father to completely break down. The breakdown in the relationship resulted in Julia running away to New York, where she was discovered by the Descendant Initiative, Bruce Wayne having personally looked into finding her, as a favour to John and in memory of her mother and his childhood friend, Zatanna.

Since her time in the Academy, Julia has learnt much about herself, including control over her powers and grew more confident in her capabilities, the Academy also provided her with a chance to reconnect with her father and, as per his request, he has managed to swindle a deal with Bruce that allows him to see his daughter whenever he wishes, pulling her out of important tests and classes, much to her disapproval.

It's simple and that's how I like it, there's no need for extravagance in my life, we used to have that back in my mother's estate. I enjoyed the bohemian style of my New York apartment... well, of John's apartment. So I'm happy enough keeping it minimalist, easier to decorate with things I find. Although, don't look at the mirror for too long... It's kind of a portal to my library, if you stare into it too long, you're going to disappear.

Julia took the last sip of her Rose wine, the plates in front of her were empty and now so too were the glasses. She listened as her father described another adventure he had just engaged in, smiling at the genuine excitement in his tone, his accent heavily more English than her own, which was more than likely down to him being from London and her only growing up listening to his accent and the occassional times they lived in England, her accent was a peculiar mix of American and British. "... A lot more interesting that whatever the people at the Academy were gonna have you do today, anyway." Julia rolled her eyes and shook her head.
"What have you pulled me out of for Lunch this time?" Julia sighed, her voice carrying a tone of grateful annoyance.
"I don't know, something boring though." Constantine replied with a smug grin, before calling for the check.
"Dad, you can't keep doing that." Julia moaned, she hated being pulled out of classes and tests, particularly when he knew they were. "If you keep doing it, I'm probably going to fail."
"Good! If I can stop you from being a hero, then all the more reason to keep doing it." Julia rolled her eyes once again, sighing as she shook her head. Constantine handed the woman the check with money inside it, with an extra tip, to which the woman thanked him. "How about we do something fun?"
"Don't you think I've missed out on enough today?" Julia asked him, anxious to get back to the Academy now that she knew he'd took her out on an important day.
"Fine, fine. I'll take you back to the Academy, but we're doing something fun next month." Julia smiled and waved her hand slightly.
"It's fine, I can get myself back to the Academy." Constantine frowned but he gave a slight nod, implying it was okay. Julia stood up and hugged him before uttering the spell. "ekaT eM kcaB emoH." And when she blinked her eyes, she was back in her penthouse of the Academy.

As she made a move for the door, she was spooked by JARVIS's public announcement. "So I've missed the whole day." Julia threw her purse on the sofa facing the window and stepped out of her penthouse and into the corridor. She lightly skipped down the hallway, in a kind of jogging manner, her right hand crossed over her chest to keep her blazer from jumping around to wildly as she made her way to the elevators. She stepped in the first one that came, which was surprisingly empty for the time of day. "erehW erA yM sdneirF?" She uttered as she glanced at the buttons, but more than one of the buttons glowed with a purple aura, she cursed John as she realised that classes were well and truly over for the day. She wiped at the smokey aura and pressed the button she assumed would take her to Wren's penthouse.

Stepping out of the elevator, Julia made her way to the door of the penthouse, she was suspicious by the lack of sound and yet instead of knocking, she simply walked into the penthouse and seeing no one in the area and hearing no noise in the penthouse, instead of leaving and assuming she was in the wrong place she stepped further into the Penthouse. "Wren, how early am I?" She moaned as she rounded the corner and into the bedroom, to find Jack applying aftershave. "You're... You're not Wren." Julia looked at the decorations and realised she was in the wrong penthouse. "Oh my god. This is not my day. I am so sorry, I musthave hit the wrong button, Jack." Julia's face visibly turned pink as she spun on her heels to leave Jack's Penthouse.

"And already it works like a charm." Jack thought slyly to himself. Right before him was a hot chick and in his penthouse apartment no less, didn't even need to attend the party. Still just because the best case scenario has already happened doesn't mean he can't go for the bestest case scenario. Besides raise some style points entering a party with a lady on your arm. They guys will be wondering, just how does he do that?! Transfixed in his fantasy he nearly missed the woman attempting to leave!

"Wait, wait, wait! You said you were looking for Wren right? Well, how about that! Lucky for you, I was just about to head to Wren's myself! How about we head over there together? Be more fun that going in alone that's for sure." He said as he walked up to Julia. "Besides just think of it as, well, making it up to me for accidentally walking in on me." Jack laughed. "Of course that doesn't mean you can't ever do that again." He laughed some more. "Just let me close up shop and we'll be off." He said as he exited the room after Julia. He then locked the door to his apartment and placed his keycard in his pockets.

"So, Julia, right? How have you been? I didn't see you in class all day, don't tell me you played hooky, if I knew that I would have gone with ya!" He smiled. He then began to walk down the hall, expecting Julia to follow. "But seriously, what's up?" He asked cheerfully.

ImageKallistrate's feet pounded into the carpet under her as she walked down the hall towards her suite. Cuts and bites dripped blood as she took each step. Her leggings were torn to reveal more of her leg than she had ever been comfortable with and the salt water she plunged herself in made her wounds worse and worse. She was absolutely livid.

Kallistrate felt more than heard the dummy being lifted from the inside of the cage and as soon as she knew Kumiko and the dummy were clear she used what was left of her resolve and hurled the cage towards the back wall with a grunt. Someone had to have been watching because once the citizen was rescued the floor slid back into it's original state and Kallistrate simply fell. She just lost the will to stay upright and laid in the ground facing the ceiling. Her torso got the brunt of the damage as blood lazily dripped from bites and scrapes. Salt water stung. This is ridiculous. If the goal of this trial was to simply piss her off, well they did a fabulous job. 10 great whites. 10. With a cage apparently made of the heaviest metal on earth. She was strong, super strong even, but it was only a few years ago she even began to explore that strength and it was growing everyday. But it was still growing. Her arms pulsed slightly when she moved them and her breathing was more deep than usual. Everything just hurt, but she had to move or she'd stay there for the rest of the day.
She sat up and then stood, already her cuts were healing but the water mixed with blood mixed with mechanic grease made her so uncomfortable she nearly leapt from the ground and flew to her shower. She looked out in front of her as she thought, Kumiko having already left with muttered farewells. The locker room would provide quick relief, but she had a standard of privacy. So, with that, she took a reluctant step and limped out of the training room down the hall towards the elevator.
"Does mum require medical assistance?" ,Jarvis inquired.
"No thank you Jarvis, I'll just be heading to my room now."
The calculated and somewhat strained way she spoke was not lost on the AI, but he felt it best to leave it be.
Once in the elevator, she pushed the button for her floor and closed her eyes, focusing on her breathing and remaining calm. Getting anxious won't help you now. It's a fast elevator."And it was fairly quick. It doors drew back and she opened her eyes and nearly punched a hole in the console. She had landed on the wrong floor. She looked at the buttons disdainfully and realized she pressed the wrong button in her haste to get the ride over with.

So here she was walking(pounding) down the unfamiliar hall towards the stairs to merely climb the two floors to her floor and a long and much needed shower. Today was not a red letter day. She was the most angry at her loss for self control and that is just a downward spiral of mood.
Vaguely, she heard voices ahead of her but ignored it and kept her head forward until the cut on her forehead began to sting with an added droplet of salt that ran to it. She hissed and clutched her head as she walked, not even realizing that she was careening into another person until her very solid head collided into the back of another solid head. She let out a quiet and annoyed growl as she came face to face with Jack, resident ladies man. He and the lady he was with seemed to already be ready for the party tonight. He was tall enough to be eye level with her, something she wasn't used to experiencing when it came to human men, and she took a small step back. The girl he was with, Julia, hadn't been made her acquaintance but she was roughly familiar with everyone here. She reflexively ghosted her hand over the cut on her forehead and gave them both a nod, her apology sounding a bit rough and tired from her morning.
"I apologize for my carelessness. I wasn't paying attention. Please, enjoy your evening."
With that, she brushed past Jack and walked large steps to the stairs and took them three at a time until she wound up at her front door and in the safety of her own space. The design was fairly modern and an obvious ode to her mother's greek roots. The first thing she did was turn on some music and head to the bathroom. She'd worry about her ruined clothes later. All she wanted to do was stand under the hot spray and watch the blood wash of her now healed wounds.

Julia in her embarrassment, froze when he called for her to wait, she smirked and rolled her eyes, "I don't need a guided tour, Jackie." She spun on her heels, just after he closed the gap and rang a finger along his chest, her father taught her the best way to get what you wanted was to use what your victim wanted to his advantages, but Julia thought it was funner to tease them about it, particularly when they made it so obvious. "I know where Wren lives, I just hit the wrong button on the lift. But who knows if I did that on purpose?" Julia wasn't usually so forward, she was usually one of the few fairer and more tamed of the students, but since she was going to a party, she may as well play the wild card. "Thanks for the invitation, I think I missed the main part."

Julia followed Jack in even stepping, keeping a rather even pace, even though she was walking with a flare in her step and pretty high heels. She heard Jack mention her lack of attendance for the days classes and she smirked. "My father thought it'd be fun to take me to Paris for some lunch... I swear, he's far too chill about his use of magic, and the control he has over Bruce." She then tilted her head with a flirtatious smirk. "Surprised you'd even turn up for the class, don't you usually skip classes that early in the day."

As they rounded the corner, a blur of feminine muscle bumped into Jack, causing Julia to reach her hands out just incase he needed steadying, and also to reach out and check he was okay. Julia peered past Jack to see Kallistrate, a cut along her forehead. "Kallistrate, are you alright?" Genuine worry for the Amazonian lacing her voice, but she simply rushed past, wishing the pair a good evening. Julia then returned her attention to Jack, twirling around him to inspect his head. "Are you at least okay, that sound like quite the hit?" She raised her hand to inspect the back of his head, but refrained from touching it, just in case he had been hurt.

He stepped out of the elevator and smoothly spun, still walking only without paying attention at this point. "If your shower doesn't cut it, all you need to do is ask... He called out to the apartment, "Oh Wrenly!" Named after one of the characters from the oh so violent and sexually charged 'Game of Thrones' series. "How floweth the wineth?" He called, mocking an old English accent. "Screw that, that'll just hurt my throat." He said more to himself before returning to asking the important questions. "So what's the special for tonight?" He called before approaching the bar, and examining the stocked drinks. "Or would you prefer me to iPod DJ?" He chuckled to himself as he awaited a response.

Jack couldn't help but smile as Julia ran her finger along his chest. He then did the suggestive eyebrow raise as he made another laugh at Julia's forwardness. "Well if you wanted to know what goes on in my apartment that badly you could've just asked." He laughed. As they were walking he heard about her excuse for being absent and he couldn't help but wish his father would do the same. He then perked up as she asked him a question. "Oh, well, ya, I do if I hadn't decide to sleep in but hey that's what happens when you live to party. And now I'm about to do it again, I have a reputation to keep up you know?" He chuckled.

Jack would have doubled over if not for Julia steadying him. Even so he wobbled as he stepped and felt a throbbing pain through out his head. Still he tried to play it off cool as if nothing had happened, giving both a girls a thumbs up to show he is a-okay. Still he did rub his head some after the collision, feeling a little bit of blood trickling. Yet it was nothing compared to what shape Kallistrate was in. Seeing this Jack smiled, "No need to apologize babe, no harm done. Uh, are...you...o....kay?" His last words trailing off as Kallistrate left their presence. He then looked at Julia showing some concern over the Amazonian's condition.

"It looks like the simulation hit her harder than what it looked like on the monitor." He commented. He then smiled at Julia's worry over his possible injury. He then laughed, "Nah, don't worry about that, it'll take more than one bump on the head knock out Jack Quill!" Jack said with a smile, even though he wasn't too far off from the truth. He then looked back to the stairs, "Too bad she left in the hurry, could've hanged out with us at the party." He spoke as he turned and started back down the hall. "Hey, who do you think is all coming to the party?" Jack asked.

Julia let out an amused breath when Jack told her all she had to do was ask to know what happened in his apartment, "I'm pretty sure I'd catch an STI just for hearing some of the horror stories that come to your apartment." And she shook her head with the left corner of her lip lifted slightly. "I can only imagine the parties down here on Terra are more boring than the ones all over the Universe, I'm sure you have some wild stories for the masses."

Julia picked up on his comment about the simulation, "There were simulations today?" Julia stopped taking steps. "Remind me to have words with my father, extremely angry words with him." She rolled her eyes before falling back into step with Jack. She heard Jack's comment about a small knock to the head knocking him out and she chuckled. "If you faint tonight, I will hold you to this very quote." Julia teased him, gently poking him in the forearm.

Julia furrowed her eyebrows and let out an amused breath through her nose, "Because we are going to be the coolest people at this party?" Julia teased him. "Everyone will be clammering to hank out with the great Jonathan Tomas Quill!" She mocked the voice of an announcer at a grand tourney and pretended as if she was announcing to a great crowd. She chuckled at her own mockery of him, something deemed unprofessional for comedians, but Julia was not a comedian and thought it was rather funny. She looked him in the eyes with a smile, before nudging him slightly. "I kid, but in regards to your question, I can think of at least 5 people who will definitely be there." She flourished both hands and tilted her head with a smirk. "Moi et toi, et Jai, et Wren, et Alex." Julia replied answered, each name being pronounced with a french accent.

Mathias didn't even hear Junior's approach and was thrown off balance by him manhandling, he near stumbled backwards onto the floor, but he managed to stabilize himself so as not to look ridiculous in front of the clown. "Check your facts, Krusty, I wasn't hitting on your boyfriend." Junior started to walk off when Mathias called back after him. "Even if you got close enough to try it, don't you think the scream from the pain wouldn't kill you?" Mathias noticed his guard dog, Nathaniel, step into the room and it seemed as if he was making his way towards Mathias.

Mathias then looked at Nathaniel, the hulk of a man and smiled. "Don't you think two against one is pretty unfair, Nathan?" Mathias then realised he was being harsh to someone who had yet to even try anything. "Sorry, I know you're just looking out for him." He shook his head and with a slight look of disappointment. "But if he starts a fight with me, I will fight back." He then returned his sights on Joker. "I've no fight with you, or your paranoia, I am very much not interested in you or Enzo. I like people I can trust." He then rolled his eyes, shrugged his shoulders and made his way over to the bar for another drink, one not so heavy on any mixer.

Jack laughed at Julia's quips about him and his life. He wasn't ashamed or embarrassed, it takes alot for him to feel like that anymore. Not to say that he isn't ever shameful, it just depends on what causes said shame. He continued to walk with her as he formulated his retorts. "Well, if you did that's why I have medicine from Space! Cuz, trust me, Aliens get them too." He laughed. Speaking of outer space, Julia commented about the wild parties he must of had out in the cosmos. This time, Jack laughed a longing laugh. "I wish I could say that I do...I mean I traveled the Galaxy with Dad for a while and saw some cool stuff, but I was still just a kid...he didn't take me to the party scenes. I remember spending a lot of time in the Milano, with Uncle Rocket and Uncle Groot!" Jack then made a hardy laugh, remembering the things the Guardians did to make him laugh. "You'd be surprised how much of a family a raccoon and a tree could be...I sure do miss those guys." He said with a hint of sadness.

Jack then stopped when Julia stopped, processing what he said about simulations. She sounded upset, he'd hate to be her Dad right now. "Yeah, sure, no problem." He answered back as they resumed walking. "Haha, No, I won't faint...at least not anymore...," He nervously chuckled as he rubbed his head. The bleeding had stopped but it feels like there will be a huge knot in his head by tomorrow. He then rubbed his arm after she poked him, "Hey!" he then laughed. He then looked at her after her act and only smiled. "Awww," He said, "I was really hoping you meant that. That way I could have you announce me when I enter the party, y'know for dramatic effect?" He said with a chuckle. She then pronounced would she believed would come to the party in a French accent, it was then Jack smiled.

"Hey you want to see something cool? Speak to me again, in French, and I will understand every word perfectly, even though I don't know a single thing about the language. And please, don't make it easy." He said with a grin, waiting to see if she'll do it. It was then they came up to the elevator as Jack began to press the buttons.

Christian wasn't in any means, ready to see any guests. In fact he didn't even want any, they either do one of two things. Treat him as if he was some sort of time bomb. Everyone was so careful as to not say or do anything to him fearing he may go all slasher on them. Yet there are the more bolder ones, the ones that think he could be used for their own personal gain. Where those his options, fear or be a tool? Hardly the social outlet that is conducive to him becoming a healthy participant in society. It was better that he was away from everyone else. Then, came Wren. He found her annoying, for the life of him he couldn't understand why she bothered him so? Everyone else is content that he sticks to himself but not this girl. What is her deal?

He didn't look up to her when she came in, calling for him. Not even when she appeared next to him. It was then she started talking to him, as she sat down next to him. He then looked at her, with a sad yet pestered looked on his face, "What are you doing here? You're not seriously telling me that you're here to take me to some party...," He spoke as he trailed off looking over to his bare feet. He wasn't really dressed for the occasion, he was in a white, button down shirt, and black pants. His long, red hair fell over his face as he brushed it aside. "...I-I don't know about that Wren...it doesn't sound like that would be a good idea." He said as he looked over to the wall across from them.

The city was alive as Frankie swooped through the buildings, shooting webs up into the sky and swinging between buildings. She didn't know they were racing to and she didn't care. All she did know what she was winning. Maybe her dad got slow in his somewhat old age or maybe she was getting stronger. But the rush of beating her dad made her ecstatic and push harder.

Recently, Frankie has become more ballsy with her acrobatics, often showing off to her father in a less than safe manner. Frankie flung herself up into the air, releasing her web before doing a triple flip and diving towards the street. When she was maybe 20ft from the ground, she shot up a web that clung to a horizontal hanging street light post. With a tug of the web, she whipped herself around the pole and vaulted herself up into the air where she released another web. She swung casually, giggling as she began to swing backwards looking towards her dad. "Just because your a mutant doesn't mean you can't die if you fall from high enough!" He called after her.

Frankie swung by her left hand, raising her mask with her right to grin towards him and wink. No doubt her dad would give her a lecture later about protecting her identity, but she quickly spun back around and swung around a corner. Just as she was about to do another dangerous stunt she heard a whistle, causing her to glance over her shoulder towards her Dad. "Up here Franken-Spider!" She rolled her eyes at his favorite nickname for her, before hoisting herself up to the top of the building.

Frankie climbed over the edge and moved to stand beside him, removing her wing and pushing back her hood. Her dad wraps his arm around her, pulling her close to place a kiss upon her head. "Can't beat a view like that..." He motioned towards the sunset. "Much better than a boring day at that Academy Stark created!" Frankie smiled, resting her head on her Dad's shoulder until the realization of it being sunset hit her. "... Sunset? Oh my God! Dad!" She playfully shoved him away. "What?" He laughed. Frankie ran over to the edge of the building, hopping up onto the ledge as she pulled her mask back on. "If I can't go to the dance because of this... I'm going to hate you for at least a month." Her tone was laced with sarcasm. Although she was teasing, she definitely didn't want to miss the dance.

"Fine, fine. I won't do it again" Her dad crossed his heart. "Just call next time... Like a normal dad!" Frankie blew her dad a kiss before jump over the side. Her Dad ran to the edge of the building shouting after her, "Love you Franken-Spider!" She flipped herself up in the air, facing him for only a brief moment. "Love you too Daddy!" She let herself descend again before swinging as fast as she could back to the Academy.

Frankie reached the academy in record time, flinging herself onto her balcony. Landing on all fours, she pushed off the floor and sprinted into her penthouse, removing her suit as she darted for the bathroom. It wasn't until she was naked and in a steamy shower, rushing to clean herself up that J.A.R.V.I.S. came over the intercom in her room. "Ms. Parker, you missed class today." "It's my Dad's fault not mine!" She said as she scrubbed shampoo into her scalp. "I will make note to tell Mr. Stark, maybe he will consider that a valid excuse and revoke your ban from the dance." Frankie's eyes shot open, "What!?" She quickly regretted opening her eyes as the shampoo began to burn them. "Ouch... Dammit!"

"Unfortunately, everyone who missed class or failed today's exercise are prohibited from attending." Frankie didn't say anything as she rinsed the shampoo from her hair, angry she missed class and now couldn't go to the dance. "I should also inform you that Wren is having a party in her penthouse." "A party!?" That was a quick way to cheer her up. She quickly finished up in the shower and moved about her penthouse like a tornado as she got ready.

Frankie made record time between the shower, getting dressed and even doing her hair and makeup. She gave herself a once over in the mirror before leaving her penthouse and heading over towards the elevators. After waiting a good minute or two, it stopped at her floor allowing her to enter and ride it up to Wren's floor. Reaching the door to her apartment, she was greeted by J.A.R.V.I.S. again who informed her of the mandatory shot upon entry. Frankie shoot her head, chuckling as she took the shot glass of tequila and downed it before entering the party. Of course, the host was no where to be found. But knowing Wren, the moment she showed up things would get crazy.

Jai came barreling through the room with Alex on his back that it caused Frankie to jump backwards to avoid being knocked over, but accidentally bumped into Nathaniel. It felt like bumping into a wall because the large male was as easy to knock over as the Empire State Building. Frankie lightly placed her hand on his shoulder while chuckling softly. "I'm sorry." She smiled, glancing him over slightly. "You clean up well... You should dress like this more often." Frankie lightly patted his arm before walking past him and over towards the bar.

Julia simply chuckled at his response to her sly quip, "Ew! That doesn't make it any better." Her disgust was over shadowed by her laughter at the idea of alien STIs, something that should have been disgusting but she'd only ever heard of a small few, and imagining Groot with herpes was more laughable than it should have been. Julia was pulled back from her imaginings whenJack started to describe his time in Space. She gave him a slightly saddened smile, she liked to hear everyone else's stories, but they always reminded that everyone here was taken away from their family, childhoods turned into distant memories, she could see it now in Jack, but she knew he wasn't one for admitting his feelings, so she decided to turn the moment around. "I can imagine Groot was the helicopter mother, whilst Rocket was the distant father wishing for more." She teased him, her eyes betraying the sultry smirk by showing a hint of his pain, not that it was her fault, her empathy just spiked in moments like these.

Julia nodded with a stern smile when Jack confirmed he'd remind her of how annoyed she was at her father. "You're a good PA, Jake Feather." She joked, mocking how most bosses forget their PA's names. She then raised her eyebrow when he voiced his disappointment at not having an announcer for the party, she shook her head, chuckling some more. "I would rather die than go through that kind of embarrassment." She admitted, her face flushing at even the thought. "Although," She crossed her right arm over and rested her right elbow on her left palm, her right hand flourished as she came up with the idea. "I could always conjure you up an announcer." She wiggled her fingers and let colourful sparks emit from them, somewhat showing off, somewhat out of habit when she discussed ideas.

She shook her head to bring herself back to the moment, getting lost in her ideas for a moment before recognising Jack had requested she speak more french and she rolled her eyes at him, just as they stepped into the elevator. "So you want me to speak one of the most romantic languages in the world to you?" She smirked. "Au moins, acheter me dรฎner premier. She then smirked at him. "Mais si tu peux me comprendre, je vais tu achetรฉ le dรฎner." The elevator arrived at Wren's floor just as Julia finished speaking some broken French, she took several steps down the hallway and noticed the shot glasses. "Oh dear Gods above."

Mathias never got a chance to even get near the bar due to Enzo pulling him back into the conversation. Mathias furrowed his brow, his patience was wearing thin and no doubt with Enzo having said that, Junior would react violently, so Mathias rolled his eyes and manoeuvred his shoulder so as it came free of Enzo's grasp. "Please don't involve me in your games." He told him, his voice hinting aggression and annoyance. He then made his way back over to the bar and grabbed a couple jagerbombs and downed them in quick succession.

He noticed Kain coming through the door, his face didn't reveal any disgust or pain of the tequila shot and Mathias chuckled to himself, whilst Melissa and Lester may have hated each other, it didn't stop him being attractive, even if he was just as much a loose cannon as the green trio, he rolled his eyes at his own thoughts. It was then he noticed Astrid arriving and he returned the smile, she was someone he'd happily call a friend, but for now she seemed quite happy sitting with Kumiko, so he let her be.

He then noticed Nathaniel was sitting at the bar and he shifted uncomfortably, if it wasn't for Frankie he probably wouldn't have noticed Nathaniel was there, but now that he was aware of the close proximity, he felt uneasy. He had no problem with Nathaniel, in fact, he actually liked him, but it was the fact that all Junior had to do was say something and Mathias wouldn't even have time to react. With a deep sense of paranoia setting in, he grabbed a few more jagerbombs and downed them, maybe he'd drown out the overwhelming sense of dread.

It was fun hanging out with Alex. She danced around with him and even smiled and laughed. It;d been so long since he'd seen her loosen up like this which was a lot of fun. He missed this Alex. This was the Alex he loved when they were young so it was nice to see her back after everything that's happen. She disappeared away for a bit to interact with Bane and Frankie which actually kind of bothered Jai a bit but he didn't say anything. Instead he searched the crowd trying to find his simulation partner with no luck. Alex soon returned with a tray full of shots and the two began going around the room handing them out to the attendees of the party though Jai made sure to skip Jr.

"THE PARTY HAS ARRIVED!!" Jai practically bounced along with the lights as soon as she entered the room. He sped over to her and handed her a shot while he took the other. Alcohol didn't affect him that much though he probably should be aware of his limit. 'Hey, Wren. Did you see Bane? He actually spoke and now all these girls are surrounding him. Why doesn't that work for me? I'm sooooo great and attractive like have you seen my abs?" He still had a bounce as he spoke and then he finally noticed him. "OH SHIT!" Jai ran and coward behind Alex for protection. "Please don't eat me."

Nathaniel smiled at Frankie's reaction to his compliment. He wasn't someone with the best social skills so it was nice seeing that he didn't entirely mess up around someone he actually didn't despise. That moment faded quickly unfortunately as Nathaniel began receiving unwanted attentions from other women that were crowding him at the bar. This caused Nathaniel to shift uneasily in his stool when Liz arrived first to make a comment on his accent. "You should talk more often. Spanish accents are nice." Nathaniel didn't really acknowledge her but it was hard not to feel embarrassed.

Another girl came over to the bar and commented on Natahniel's appearance. "Bane, you look nice." Nathaniel didn't respond but he did shift around again and hoped he didn't break the stool. He did his best to stay focused on Frankie since she was the one he was originally attempting to have a conversation with her even though she obviously would be saying more than he could. That was when Alex came by and put an arm on his shoulder. She was the only one to address both him and Frankie. "The infamously silent brooding Bane is talking to a girl? Who are you and what have you done with my lab partner?" He furrowed his brows and saw Frankie chuckle before Alex spoke directly to her. "Make sure he doesn't drink too much. I need him for our chem lab tomorrow."

"Have you seen this guy?" Nathaniel watched her as she spoke his eyes often watching how her lips moved with each words and the way her face seemed to radiate with bubbly energy opposed to his dark and brooding aura. "He could drink every drop of alcohol in this building and still be sober enough to drive." She looked back over at him and smiled. Nathaniel held eye contact with her while the smile infected him to do the same. Alex's movement distracted him for a moment as he watched her walk away and hand out shots to those in the party. It was nice seeing her so happy for once. It was something he rarely saw after what Jr did. He wished she was like that more often.

"So did you grow up in a Spanish speaking country? Or did you just inherit the accent from your parents?" The sound of her sweet voice brought his attention right back to Frankie and fully devoted to her once again."My father is from Santa Prisca." He refered to the Spanish speaking Caribbean island the original Bane hailed from. Nathaniel then switched form English to Spanish for the sake of showing that he's bilingual instead of just having an accent. "Me enseรฑรณ comรณ hablar en inglรฉs y espaรฑol." He looked at the ground when he spoke this time in hopes of not blushing or stuttering over not being used to talking this much and generally feeling awkward with all this attention.

Ichabod Crane had spent the whole day cooped up in his penthouse that was more of a mad science lab than an actually place for living. He was working on various different experimentations with fear toxins on lab rats along with comparing how venom reacted when combined with different strains of the fear toxins. He recorded each outcome until his alarm went off and Ichabod took a break to inject himself with his daily dose of fear venom. He was perfectly aware there'd be consequences for skipping class but it wasn't like Ichabod actually gave a damn. He had high marks in all his classes and he was more concerned with his experiments than whatever it was they had planned for the day.

J.A.R.V.I.S had been relentless in annoying Ichabod all day during his experiments and even raised his volume after he put headphones on to tune him out. "Mr. Crane, Mr. Wayne wanted me to inform you that you missed an important lesson today and further actions will result in being sent back to Arkham Asylum." Ichabod took off his headpones. "You also will not be allowed to attend the dance coming up." Ichabod rolled his eyes. "Like I fucking care. You can tell 'Mr. Wayne' to suck my dick." He wondered if it were possible for a computer to roll their eyes because he had a feeling that's what J.A.R.V.I.S just did. "Also Ms. Wilson is having a party in her quarters." Ichabod immediately got up nearly dropping a test tube. "You finally said something I like."

Ichabod quickly changed and left his penthouse for Wren's. He was in the mood to get drunk so the opportunity was perfect. he took the required shot of tequila to get in and was immediately greeted but a diversity of heroes and villains. Jr was with his boy toy Enzo attempting to be a decent partner and failing. Bane was somehow the one surrounded by beautiful women despite being a silent brute. Jai was dancing with the unattainable Alex Todd. And Wren Wilson was making her presence known. This was going to be an exciting night.

Jack laughed as Julia kept up with him in the banter department. That was always fun to bounce of quips with another person. It's also surprising, he didn't believe Julia to be this comedic, guess he was wrong. "Yeah, well they were great babysitters, though Uncle Rocket would never admit it." Jack chuckled. He then looked over to Julia with an amused yet curious look upon his face. "Huh? Jake Feather? I think that's the first time someone joked about my name like that. Hey wait a minute? Since when am I you're PA?" He then chuckled, "Do I at least get payed?" He chuckled some more.

It was then he entered the elevator with Julia over he disagreement of being his personal announcer. Well, didn't hurt to ask. Still the idea of one being magically whipped up sounding interesting. He wasn't quite sure how that would work...despite seeing some amazing technology that's like magic, Magic itself always seemed to maintain it's quality of being mysterious. He doesn't understand it but he isn't a wizard anyway. It was then she decided to get around to answering his question. "Yes, please." He said with a smile. To his delight she did speak French to him and thanks to a certain implant in his neck, he understood her.

"Alright, okay, um, the first thing you said was...I should buy you some dinner at least." Jack spoke as he mulled over the words she spoke for some added effect. "Then the next thing was that if I could understand you, that you'll buy me dinner." He then grinned. "So, what are we having?" He spoke, being cheeky. It was then that Julia responded to the 2 tequila shots being poured right before them. "Oh cool! My kind of admittance fee." He said with a grin as he downed his shot. He then handed Julia hers, "Well, down the hatch, right?" He said with a chuckle, waiting for her to take her shot from him.

It was then that a few people showed up and entered the party before them. First Kari, then Wren and...Him!? "What the hell?" He thought to himself. It was then that another, surprising guest walked right past them, the scary guy. "Again, what the hell?" He was left scratching his head as people seemed to past them by without much notice. "What the hell, what are we? Chopped liver? I mean, I'm like you said, I'm Jonathan Tomas Quill! And you're, Julia Constantine! I mean we're the life of the party, man!" He spoke aloud. "Perhaps we both need magical PAs or some sort of social liaison, sheesh." He said to himself. He then entered the party. "Uh, correction Wren! NOW IT'S A PARTY!!" He shouted over to her as he swaggered on in.

He then got a good look at all the guests and was, confused, by seeing people he didn't think would show. He then whispered over to Julia, "Hey, when they say there is going to be a crazy party, I don't think that was suppose to be taken literally." He said motioning over to Junior, Christian, Enzo and Crane.

Caleb's brows furrowed gently as he thought out some of his options. It was hard to visualize a bizarre series of natural disasters coming after one person. He couldn't imagine it beyond unpleasant and destructive. "I guess I'd have to remove the subject it's targeting first and draw the danger away from civilians and casualties." At least that seemed like the right first step. "From there, we'd have to figure out the source, meanwhile, we try keep each other on our feet and alive. Then our safest bet would be for me to try find mutants or people or gods that can control or manipulate the elements." What a handful of processes it sounded like. He frowned in conclusion. "Was I set up for failure there?" Initially that was what he was after. To make Lilith see she couldn't have a guard dog in anyone, but this competitive need to win side had come out trying to find a solution where he could prevail. "Donโ€™t make me fly your pretty butt out of here." With the late host finally deciding to show to her own party, the music blared out and the lights dimmed. Caleb frowned a little and leaned in towards Lilith to speak near her ear. "And no one would even know."

Kain snapped his fingers continuously in search for some party snacks; peanuts, chips, m&ms, skittles, bread, something to keep his hands busy and pluck at food. He hated to divert the uncomfortable attention Nathaniel was getting, amusing as it was but as he searched the bar he squeezed Liz's shoulder, then passed by casually. It was habit of him to just remind her he was still there. Not only that but how he had saved her life in their sim.

Mathias, all the while was taking back some jagerbombs like he had the intention to go for jagerbomb sculling champ. "Doing any favors for you yet?" Since the bar seemed in endless supply, Kain didn't see Mathias getting cut off at any point. So he'd save him one drink and that could be his good deed done for the day, given he wasn't particularly happy nor satisfied about saving Elizabeth. He snatched the next one from Mathias and held up his finger in defense so the Mr.SongBird didn't act aggressively as he downed it in front of him. "There. Now you're one drink short of liver and kidney problems and making bad decisions. On my watch anyway. Which ends in about..." he silently counted the seconds remaining until the minute shifted then saluted his company with a smirk. "Thanks for the drink."

ImageLooking pass all the bodies in the house and just seeing a room, he was able to find the finger food. Kain stole a bowl away for himself and tucked himself into a dark corner of Wren's penthouse, eyeing the crowds that had decided to make an appearance. Usually, this was Kumiko's kind of job but even she had found company in Astrid. Kain second looked Enzo's solo game of pool in which Kain noticed the good break he had done. That made it all the more tempting to join and show what a real marksman could do but he'd be swarmed in competitors soon enough. Not to mention Kain's lack of enthusiasm towards some riddle entry to play against him.

Then the real party entered. And no it didn't come in the form of the self-proclaimed pretty hyper red-headed girl. It was Ichabod and Christian. The fence sitting psychos just ready to snap."I knew it was going to be a good night."

Christian tensed up as Wren hooked her arm into his. He's not used to people touching him...at least, not anymore. It bothered him that she was so close to him, despite the possible danger. She was either very brave or very foolish, perhaps both. The ability to regenerate from even the most grievous of harm, could make anyone foolhardy to the threat of injury or death. Still, he doesn't believe in pushing your luck and he wished Wren would be a little more cautious.

As he was dragged into the elevator he only shrugged at Wren's compliment over his clothing. As the ride began, Christian listened to Wren ask about what goes on in his apartment, only to segue into what she does in her own apartment. He found the question and conversation itself odd, but he figured that's just how Wren is. He then shrugged. "I don't know...I usually...," Christian found himself a bit stuck, what does he do? "...Uh, I sit around...um, sometimes I read too. I've read a lot actually." He answered feeling awkward as he spoke. He had difficulty looking at her during the conversation, only occasionally giving her a glance.

It was then the elevator ride had stopped as they approached Wren's apartment. Seeing some guests preparing to enter, it was then she did, in her own way, to reassure him. Still he was nervous, and he was beginning to feel that this was a bad idea. As she dragged him along she took two shots of alcohol and lead him in where he saw numerous students partying about. "Great...I didn't expect to see so many people show up...why did I let her talk me into this?" He nervously thought. Then with Wren's display of showmanship the party literally lit up. Soon the deafening music played as the celebratory lights performed their show. He only took deep breaths trying to keep up his composure. It was then Jai came up and without so much as looking at him, talk to Wren. Then, in a delayed sort of fashioned, finally noticed him and high tailed it out of there. As Christian suspected, they already flee from him as if he had the plague.

Christian only sighed in a sad and disappointed manner. "Of course, why would I think anyone would ever react differently? I'm such a fool for coming here." He thought to himself. He then spoke to Wren, "You know what? Maybe I should just leave? I-I don't want to ruin the party for everyone here." It was then his vision went blurry as a voice spoke within his head. "Look at that, he's afraid, just like you said they would be. Speaking of fear here comes the supposed master." It was then his attention was turned towards Ichabod Crane, his vision normalized as Cletus came into view. "Look at all the other sons of psychos here at this party." Cletus motioned to Junior and Enzo. "While I do believe their ways of murder is a little too gimmicky for my liking...it still doesn't hurt to get a few pointers from our fellow colleagues." He chuckled sinisterly. "Why should I? What's your game?" He thought to himself. "Game? No, games. It's just as your father I feel that your choice in...who you decide to spend you're time with is very, very poor." Cletus spoke motioning over to Wren. "You're not my father...you never were."Christian retorted.

"Don't delude yourself, of course I am...you are my flesh and blood. And it's about time you realized that, so stop fooling around and do what you were born to do...kill." He then laughed manically. "No! No I won't! I've taken my medicine today, you can't force me to do anything!" "Perhaps, but then again I don't need to...you have the urge to kill all by yourself. I know you feel it, even now. I mean take that idiot for instance. He bothered you didn't he? After all, he just insulted you in front of your friend, bringing unwanted attention to you and calling you a cannibal. He represents what you hate in others...don't you see? People are worthless and petty, deserving to be killed. Why even protect them?" Cletus cooed. Christian shook as he tried to ignore the voice in his head. Yet, he wasn't wrong...Jai did insult him, why can't people refrain from judging him? It's not like he ever did anything wrong to him...to any of them! Christian looked around as he saw them staring and then everyone began to turn their backs to him.

"Look, they don't consider you one of them...see how they alienate themselves from you? Don't be their bitch! Kill them, kill them all and show the world that no one ever, EVER, messes with a KASADY!!" Cleuts shouted. "NO! You're trying to trick me, making me see what YOU want me to see!" Christian shook his head as reality returned to normal. "Dammit! I can't think like this...am I trying to loose it?!" Christian scolded himself. Thanks to the medicine Christian was able to suppress this little episode and despite the distracted look on his face, he managed to not make a scene. Still he was spooked, and worried that staying here was becoming too risky.

Image As Caleb mentioned finding and dealing with a source, she could only wish and agree in silence. However, a slither of her had enough respect for Alfred and Phil to not totally go savage on them. "Was I set up for failure there?" Lilith wanted to reference back to how it wasn't a trick question, and how the school's speedstar had managed well enough to keep her and a civilian alive against natural disasters, and in relative good shape compared to how things could have gone. But she could see his brainworks rolling and ticking, really trying to imagine the scene and think it through. And she wouldn't kill him by comparison. Nobody liked that. Besides, before Jai's name could even slip from her lips he came in bouncing around Alex on his back and making a fuss and scene wherever he flashed around to. So there was always an argument to be made in, the child like speediest guy actually saving her. His timing had shortened her response to a simple, "No." When he coward behind Alex, that was plenty of confirmation. But she followed his fright to the source. Or more like sources. "So many devils to tempt." She murmured to herself and turned back to Caleb. But of course tempting angels took real skill.

"I'm not even wearing an Ivy costume and you said that!" She reeled in her excitement in due time, like when he had to lean down towards her to speak to her again. "And no one would even know." Now, she didn't want to give him a villain course but in order for things to be really threatening, even in the joking sense he had to be in her ear. She waved him in again so she could reply, even with her heels still standing significantly shorter than him. "Wren would. If you ruin her penthouse outside of party standards, even your charming fat grin won't win her over." Lilith drew back and nodded as if to say 'true story.' "Now..I'm gonna get a few drinks and then we can dance."

She weaved her way through the bodies at the party to the bar. Lilith even second looked Christian and thought of offering him a drink. But she thought given his state it might be a stupid question and unwise.

Julia smiled as he talked some more about 'Uncle Rocket', she found it sort of cute that he called him that, but she wouldn't dare point it out to him, he'd twist it and she never hear the end of how she thinks he's cute. He then gave her a confused look and her eyes widened as she awaited his question to clear his confusion. "Well that joke completely flopped." She gave him a teasingly exasperated look. "As my PA, you're supposed to just laugh at all my jokes and bring me expensive coffee that I've to tell you is terrible." She then rolled her eyes and chuckled. "I called you Jake Feather, because bosses typically forget their PAs names and you're my PA because you said you'd remind me to have a 'meeting with my father'... Much like how a PA would put a meeting in a diary." She sighed as she realised how bad the joke was.

Julia was surprised at how well he'd translated what she'd said, even if it was with the aid of technology, had he of spoke to her in an alien language she'd of tried to use magic to translate it, so she wasn't going to fault him on it. "Being from outer space, you mustn't have had the wonders of McDonald's? It is the classiest and most delicious dinner of them all." She chuckled in response to his question. "I kid, but you're talking to a girl who can literally take you anywhere on Earth, I mean I could push it and try Universe, but that'd take quite a lot of effort."

Julia visibly shuddered as she reached for the shot and downed it without hesitation, had she of hesitated they'd probably have been there for an hour try to just convince her to take it and then another half an hour on her actually taking it. She clasped her hand across her mouth and shuddered again. "I hate Wren." She managed to whimper, she knew the pain at the back of her throat would subside in a few seconds but she still hated the sensation of shots.

Julia chuckled at Jack's rant about the party and then she picked up on him using the short form of her name and laughed at him. "You don't know my name, do you?" Hopefully, he knew she was only teasing him, she would have hated for him to say the entire name, the one thing she definitely wasn't forgiving her father for was the fact her name had show the union of both her parents, although fair enough to pay some tribute to her grandfather but the four names was a bit overkill.

She stepped into the party with him, but watching him walk with such swagger she had to stop at the door frame and laugh at him, he just looked so ridiculous to her when he walked like that but she caught a hold of herself before stepping in, she noticed Frankie with Bane and waved at Frankie, before stepping next to Jack, catching the tail end of his concern about the 4 resident psychos, as most people so lovingly put it. She nudged him, with a slightly hurt expression. "Leave Christian be, it's not his fault..." She then looked over at Christian with a weak smile. "I know what he's going through." Her last comment was more a reminder for Jack that she had a demon side of her too, which was in relatively more control than Christian's symbiote was, but still. Julia shook her head, bringing herself back to the party and then hooked Jack's arm before leading him deeper into the party. "Come on, let's mingle."

Mathias lifted his head to look at Kain, he tilted his head and smirked. "With my endurance and stamina, it'd take quite a few to help me." He then shrugged. "Who knows, Tony may have augmented more than just my vocal cords." He grabbed another bomb and as he went to down it Kain snatched it from his hands. Mathias looked at him with a pursed lip smile and when Kain waggled his finger, a slow blink and confused single shake of the head followed. "And so the mercenary steals from the thief, that was unexpected." He teased, whilst he wasn't drunk, he'd enough alcohol in his system to make him forget how bad he was at flirting and how badly he flirted with everyone when he was drunk.

Mathias shook his head with a chuckle as Kain thanked him for the drink, "Oh, you're so welcome." His response was a lot more sarcastic than he intended it to, as he watched Kain go sit on his own, he rolled his eyes and lifted himself, via his acoustikinesis, and flew over to Kain, plopping himself down on the opposing seat. "Why are you intentionally sitting on your own?" Mathias then caught his sight and visibly was taken aback. "Well, that's... That's surprising." He murmured more to himself, the sight of Ichabod and Christian shocking him.

As she expected Nathan didn't respond to all the compliments, everyone knew he didn't talk much. She sat drinking her beer quietly and peacefully until he came over. Kain just couldn't let her be, no matter where they were he just had to bug her even if it was just for a second. He didn't say anything to her at all but he gave her shoulder a squeeze which was enough to get under her skin. He knew she hated him and that was all he really needed to do. She said nothing as she glared at the back of his head as he spoke with Mathias and stole one of his shots.

"THE PARTY HAS ARRIVED!!" As if it was planned, and lets get real it probably was, the lights went down and colored lights went on and the music began blasting. Liz smiled, Wren always made an entrance. She noticed Christian had joined the party, probably because Wren asked him to. He wasn't a bad guy but Liz tends to stay away from him.

Kari didn't pay much attention to anyone else at the bar after she'd gave Nathan the complement. She just sat sipping on her beer. She saw the Kain had made his way over just to bother Liz, which she thought was funny. Then she heard Alex, she'd come over to talk to Frankie and Nathan. She couldn't help but tense up, though Alex would most likely ignore her. She wasn't one to cause trouble on her own. The thing was Kari hated that Alex didn't like her. Before she could move from the bar Wren busted through the door, "THE PARTY HAS ARRIVED!!" she yelled and the music began playing on it's highest volume and the lights changed.

Kari stood from the bar and made her way over to Wren. About half way there she noticed Christian. "It's about time you showed up. I thought this was going to end up a dull party. She said to Wren then turned to christian, he looked kind of out of it "You alright Chris?" her voice full of concern, she knew people didn't like him but it wasn't his fault his dad was a maniac.

Wren made a note of the fact that Christian reads a lot in his penthouse. At some point she'd have to pick his brain for some good books to read, or suggest some to him. Of course, in an attempt to upstage her grand entrance, Jack shouted as he entered. "Uh, correction Wren! NOW IT'S A PARTY!!" Wren scoffed, "Bitch please, did you have a synchronized entrance with lights and music?... Yeah I didn't think so."

She then over heard Jack whisper to Julia, "Hey, when they say there is going to be a crazy party, I don't think that was suppose to be taken literally." Wren growled in her throat, squinting her eyes as she stuck out her foot to trip Jack as he walked by. "Hey Star Princess!... Captain crazy runs this ship here." Wren pointed to herself, "And if you have a problem with who my guests are then get the hell out." Sure Wren may have overreacted a smidge but she took offense to the 'crazy' comment. One because everyone knew Wren wasn't the most mentally sound with the toll the healing factor took on her body. Plus over half of the students here were out there. They're mutants, in what world would it make sense for them to be sane.

Julia made a comment towards Jack in a more friendly and a lot less Wren like, "Leave Christian be, it's not his fault... I know what he's going through." Wren gave her a 'thanks' smile, before Julia took Jack and went to go mingle. She had barely made it into her own party before Jai came running up to her, mouth as fast as his feet. "Hey, Wren. Did you see Bane? He actually spoke and now all these girls are surrounding him. Why doesn't that work for me? I'm sooooo great and attractive like have you seen my abs?" Before Wren could respond Jai must have noticed Christian because she quickly went to hide behind Alex. "Are you fucking kidding me?" Wren's temper wasn't doing so hot. "Jesus Christ, you're such a child." Apparently Alex was having the same thought.

"Please don't eat me." Wren was seconds from blowing her damn top. She clenched her jaw and glared at Jai as Alex gave her own little rant to the immature speedster. It's a party and yet everyone is deciding to make a damn scene because Wren was nice enough to invite everyone... Pathetic. Wren reached over to the table beside her grabbing whatever her hand could reach which happened to be an empty bottle of vodka. She wasted no time in pitching right a Jai's head. "I'm sorry, but were you dropped on your head as an infant? Or were you just born stupid?!" Wren lectured Jai. "Maybe you deserve to be 'eaten' because you're acting like a fucking pussy! And a good pussy deserves to be eaten!... Grow up."

Wren looked over at Christian and he wasn't looking so good. She didn't know if was because of the rudeness of others or what, but she lightly reached her around around his shoulders. Before she got a chance to talk to him Kari made her way towards her, "It's about time you showed up. I thought this was going to end up a dull party." Wren laughed halfheartedly, "Me having a dull party is as likely as a catholic not being a hypocrite." Kari then proceeded to ask if Christian was alright. "People are just being assholes." Wren reassured.

She let her arm fall from around Christian's shoulders to grasp his hand. Wren then lead him through the party, weaving between people until they got to the quieter side of her penthouse near the billiards table. Once away from most of the asshats, she released his hand. "Sorry about them... They're just a bag of dicks." Wren leaned her shoulder against the wall sighing, "And they're my friends, so what does that say about me?" She rolled her eyes slightly. "Do you want a drink or does that mess with the," She motions towards him, "... thing."

Frankie's attention drifted towards the door momentarily when an ever so loud Wren made her grand entrance and the whole atmosphere of the part changed. Typical Wren. Just before her attention shifted she caught sight of Julia walking in and waving towards her. Frankie gave her a soft smile and a small wave of her fingers before looking back towards Nathaniel. "My father is from Santa Prisca." She smiled, taking a sip of her drink. "That's so cool... My dad's from New York." She shrugged her shoulders slightly while pursing her lips. Definitely not something as interesting as that.

What Nathaniel did next took her slightly by surprise, speaking to her in Spanish rather than english. "Me enseรฑรณ comรณ hablar en inglรฉs y espaรฑol." Frankie couldn't help but smile as he looked at the ground while he spoke. Her Spanish was very fuzzy and by no means fluent, just whatever they taught her in high school. But it was enough to understand what he said. "I would tell you to speak in Spanish all the time because it sounds good when you speak it. But then I fear I wouldn't be much for conversation at that point." She giggled softly, taking the strawberry she had offered him, the one he seemed to have missed while actually holding a conversation with her, and took a bite.

"I can speak Latin... Well no one speaks Latin, it's a dead language. But I know it fairly well with having a degree in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology. Everything in Science seems to have a Latin based name." Frankie shrugged slightly with a smile still upon her lips. She then held out the last piece of strawberry she had towards him, "They're really good and fresh... Unless you're allergic, then I'm sorry." Frankie laughed using her free hand to brush her locks behind her ear.

Kaina hit the mat with a loud smack and a grunt escaping her lips. She glared up at her father who held out his hand to help her up. Today was the day where Bruce would take his children and train with them in his little batcave. He did this at least three times a month in order to teach Kaina and her brother under his own authority. These days were usually the days where Saffah, Kaina's twin could take a break from playing peacemaker between the two and Kaina only came to these sessions because she did want to learn more, even if it was from him. So for these days she was tame, her words anyway. She spoke with her fists instead. Today Bruce excused them from class and took them in order to train them in boxing.

Kaina had caught on fairly quickly but she still needed to work on her stance. This was the cause for the incident that just happened. Kaina and her father had been going at it for a good half hour already and they were both exhausted and sweating. Bruce was coming at her hard, throwing fast combos and Kaina was doing good so far. She was blocking or dodging all of them until she went to take a breath and took a step back. That's when she lost her footing and her father's boxing glove connected with her left cheek sending her down on her ass. Kaina went for her father's hand, faking him out instead and at the last minute she used her right leg in order to sweep him off his feet then quickly rolled her knee's up to her chest and did a kick up, landing perfectly on her feet. She smirked down at the almighty Batman who just got his ass knocked down by his daughter and proceeded to take off her gloves, tossing them to the side.

"I didn't say we were finished." Bruce said as he picked himself off of the ground. Kaina turned her head slightly, just enough to make eye contact with her father. "You don't get to boss me around." she responded casually before turning her attention back to her hand-wraps that she began unwrapping from her hands. "You are my daughter and-" Bruce was stopped mid sentence as Kaina spun on her heels and jabbed her finger into his chest. She stood considerably shorter than him, only reaching just under his shoulders. "Just because you're my father doesn't mean I have to listen to you. Two years we have been here, two years that YOUR children have been here and NOW you choose to start acting like a father?" Kaina growled at him.

Everything was going good until Bruce struck that nerve. Saffah, her brother jogged over from where he was training with a simulation and stepped in between his sister and father. "Just go Kaina." He said while making eye contact with his sister. Kaina glared at her father for a few more seconds before she responded back to her brother. "See you back at the academy." And with that she turned on her heels, slipped on her shoes, grabbed her backpack and walked out with a vicious sway to her hips.


While entering the academy Kaina pulled out her phone and after struggling with the damn pass code she shot a text back to her brother. A response to something he sent earlier about him staying late and training with their father. Kaina was glad to see her beloved brother enjoying himself with something. It's been so long that he actually let go and did something he wanted so she didn't mind even if it was with Bruce but then again as long as it wasn't her who was stuck with that man then she was totally fine. Kaina stepped into the elevator and pressed the button that lead to her room. When she got there she stepped out and proceeded to her bathroom because she was sweaty and sticky and she didn't like the way that felt.

While in the shower Kaina thought about Wren's party. She was told ahead of time but never thought about actually going until now. Funny how random thoughts come to you when you're in the shower, right? As she lathered and with her vanilla scented body soap Kaina then proceeded to rinse as the steam from the hot shower fogged up the glass, blurring her body from invisible eyes. Soon she decided what the hell, Alex will probably be there since the party was being thrown by her best friend and Kaina could use the booze. The shower was suddenly silenced as Kaina stepped out and grabbed a towel from the nearby rack, wrapping it around her body and going out to her bedroom.

Her eyes stared out the very huge window that overlooked the city below. She never asked for such a big living space and was fairly surprised when she first stepped foot into it but now other than her own room at the Wayne's mansion this was her little private home-sweet-home. Kaina could still remember that day like it was yesterday. She was fairly pissed that her father made her come to the academy but more so confused when she got to her new living space. Everything was so high tech and she didn't even know how to work a cell phone back then but now, well, she still struggles with the cellphone but she also learned how to work a t.v. Give her a computer though and tell her to search for something and she'd easily get frustrated because she still doesn't know exactly how to work one.

Kaina just has never been a tech person, she was raised knowing what technology was but never with the privilege of owning something like it, the environment she was raised it didn't need it because they were mostly stuck in the past. She lived in a temple for god's sake and used messengers or wrote letters when she needed to tell someone something or find something out so you could see why it was hard for her to adjust. The heiress snapped out of her little trance, remembering her past wasn't such a good idea right now because it was just going to ruin her somewhat good mood. Stepping over to her closet Kaina walked in and looked around. Honestly she had no idea what to wear, fashion wasn't her thing even though she can usually pull off anything she wears. Dressing up for things like this usually left her clueless but after eyeing a blue romper for a while she took it off the rack and picked up a pair of black flats. Kaina then proceeded to get dressed, leaving her hair out and un-braided which was uncommon for her unless she was lounging around her living space or going to bed.

Once she was dressed she looked at herself in the mirror. The romper clung to her body perfectly without being too tight but just enough to accent her curves. A shrug rolled off her shoulders because in all honesty she wasn't going to the party to impress or anything but for the booze and maybe some chitchat with people that didn't get on her nerves. If the party didn't work out then she'd take a stroll through the city, you know just wander until she got tired. Glancing at her phone for a second Kaina decided to leave it there but took a small knife that she concealed within her outfit in case someone got a bit funny with her. All ready to go Kaina headed towards Wren's room where the party was held.

Upon arriving Kaina witnessed some guys shotgunning cans of beer. She stared rather curiously with arm crossed as she had seen this on t.v before. She couldn't put her finger on what movie it was but she remembers laughing a great deal at it. Shaking her head with her signature smirk upon her lips Kaina walked away towards a guy who held a tray of shots. They were colorful and caught her eye so she grabbed two, one in each hand then downed them back like water. They were sweet yet sour and she liked it. She reached out and grabbed a third one, green before shooting it back.

Kumiko gave her answer, even sounding report like. "Nothing exciting. Bane doing his much hated Joker Jr duties. The night has barley started, I'm sure it will get much more exciting than that." Astrid nodded, taking a look around. With alcohol taking its effects on any one of these individuals it could become more exciting but if they times that by 5 at least...they were due for a very exciting night for lack of a better term. "Maybe things will get interesting sooner rather than later." Astrid was unsure if that was a calculation or hope, but if gambling were in her nature she'd put money on it. In fact, why not? Only more people seemed to file into the party making Wren's much desired full house dream come true. "I think things will take a turn in about..10 minutes? And that's being generous." She smiled to Kumiko. "How'd your simulation go anyway?" Astrid asked on another note.

Image "Hey Astrid. Kimmy K." Matt nodded to them and smiled. Astrid naturally smiled right back to Matt before letting her face slowly fall. She pointed to his cup. "Are you sure you should be drinking that right after your entry shot? You know underage drinking is still frowned upon in here." Astrid told him, her brows furrowed in concern for Matty. She watched his own face slowly fall and glance into his cup self-consciously. "Oh. Matty. No. I'm kidding. Sometimes people kid." Matt laughed too sharply, causing her head to jerk back and do an uncertain grin in response as he sipped at his drink. "Good one." His laughter trailed off and he walked away not so subtly. Though Kumiko mightn't have registered it as an awkward occurrence, Astrid exchanged a glance with her. "I think I might just see what's going on there or say I'm sorry or...something." She excused herself and wondered off after Matt.

She grabbed his arm gently and stepped in front of him. "Hey. I know my humor needs a lot of work but I was joking. I'd never judge what you do or try to make you feel that way. Is something the matter? Do you want to talk?"
