Summer is a time to take chances, and that's exactly what two girls from the tiny, boring town of Apple Creek Ohio plan to do this summer. It's the summer of their senior year. Their last summer together before they head to opposite ends of the country for college and likely, don't see each other again for a very long time, if ever. So they decide to do something big. Something they've never done before.

They're going to leave the tiny town.

It's a trip they've been planning since freshman year, taking off across the country, without telling so much as a single soul, and not stopping until they hit Vegas, where they intend to get into a world of trouble.

Only they end up in a little more trouble than they're asking for when a couple of men get in the way. They pick up a hitchiker, run into people from their past, and, before they know it, they're in over their head, stuck in a dangerous world they've never even come close to before, and there's a very huge chance they'll never see their little town of Apple Creek again.

To say Gracie had been waiting her entire life to get out of Apple Creek would be an understatement. She had just been waiting she’d been saving up money, mapping out roads with Kylie ever since they could comprehend what a road trip was. Grace had work her ass off to get into Princeton and when she got accepted, she was ecstatic, her father however wasn’t exactly happy about the idea of her going to a college that big. She’d be lying if she said she wasn’t scared, not of the school but of losing her close relationship with Kylie, they were going to be hundreds of miles apart. They’d make new friends and they’d have their own lives…which neither of them had ever really had.

They’d been driving for the past week. Taking their time and stopping, they slept for the most part in Gracie’s car. It wasn’t exactly comfortable, but it was better than paying for a motel, considering their parents were completely against them going and refused to give them any money.

They’d picked up a hitch hiker, despite where there parents had told them their entire lives and he’d been with them since last night. He was charming for the most part, but Grace could see right past that act, he was only being charming because he needed a ride. It didn’t bother her though seeing as he’d invited them to a Las Vegas party, so she wasn’t about to start complaining. They were thirty minutes outside of Vegas and the sun was setting as they pulled into the gas station.

“I need cigarette’s and we need gas.” Gigi glanced to her best friend before slicking her eyes over her shoulder to Matt who sat in the back and then back to Kylie speaking to both of them. “I’ll be right back alright.” She said stepping out of her car.

She practically looked like a runway model without even having to try with her long legs and her perfect posture thanks to her step-mother. She walked with perfect confidence gaining looks from others around them, not that she paid any attention. She pushed open the glass doors to the gas station, her wallet in one hand and her keys dangling from those same hands fingers. She moved her sunglasses to the top of her head. She grabbed three waters before heading to the cashier grabbing a few packs of cigarette’s having to show her ID, before paying for everything and heading back out to the car.

She tossed a water and a pack of cigarettes onto Kylie’s lap and did the same to Matt. “You can thank me later.” She smirked. “This better be one hell of a party.” She said like she’d been to a million, when in reality she was sure that Apple Creek’s so called parties, were nothing compared to the party they were about to go to. She started pumping gas, lighting a cigarette, despite how dangerous it was. She took a drag before glancing to Kylie. “Three days in Vegas, then were off again.” She said as if they’d already made that promise and she was reminding her.

The past year had been nothing but a huge fucking blur. There had been several times that Marshall had to drive Tyler to ER, because he’d overdosed. Several other times, Tyler had dialed her number only to stop before actually calling her. He was miserable. The last few months however he’d managed to forget about her for the most part. He was so busy deal in business for his boss and keeping Bunny from yelling at him, that he didn’t grant himself much time to get stuck on thoughts about Kylie. He’d only gotten heavy into drugs and alcohol and gambling was his recent addiction. He was a glutton for pain and he knew that, so did everyone else.

He was busy scrubbing the blood off his hands, from his latest kill, who laid dead in his lavish hotel room. Ronnie Beck owed Ty’s boss a total of three thousand dollars. He’d gotten the money and another body, for his body count. The business he was in was brutal, but it paid the bills. He slipped his black leather gloves on before slipping pulling his hood over his head, securing it with a beanie. Finally he slipped out of the hotel room and used the emergency exit stair case. It was scary how good he was at killing and getting away with it. Aside from the boss himself and Matt, Tyler was definitely one of the most dangerous men in Vegas.

The drive back to his boss’s house was short and after he exchanged the money and the severed body part that, his boss demanded he was off to get ready for a party that he was hosting. Well more so that his girlfriend if you could even call her that, as hosting. She told him it was good for him. When he finally got back to his house, there were already a few cars parked outside and he sighed, miserably at the thought of having a bunch of low life ass holes like himself in his house, breaking shit and throwing up everywhere.

He parked his motorcycle in the garage, he could hear his dog’s deep bark coming from the back yard. He slipped into the house only to be greeted by Bunny handing him a beer. She was wearing nothing but a bright colored bar and a short denim shirt, her thong hanging out in the back. Ty grabbed the beer taking a drink as she kissed along his neck, there was nothing, he couldn’t explain it, he felt nothing for her, but he groaned softly despite himself because it felt good after the long day he’d had to feel wanted.

“Go put some clothes on.” He ordered her coldly and she looked at him confused.

“Baby?” she breathed and he rolled his eyes not wanting to argue with her but he knew better she was always nagging him. He set his beer down as he headed up stairs. He locked the door behind him, only to hear her knocking and begging for him to come out, but he didn’t answer. He turned up the quite hum of the stereo that was already planning because he rarely turned it off. He turned the music up as loud as it would go drowning her out completely.

He turned the shower on, stripping out of his clothes, before stepping in and letting the ice cold water run over his body. He was exhausted, but he knew he had to go down stairs, because Max was coming and Marshall would wonder where he was. He sighed as he buried his hands in his face for a moment, letting the beat of the music and the angry tone absorb his own anger and irritation.

It had been a week since they'd left Apple Creek and still, she was having a hard time turning off all the shit in her head. Kylie had had this idea in her mind for years now that, if she could just get out of Apple Creek, maybe she'd be okay. Maybe her head would stop spinning and she'd stop feeling so fucking crazy all the time. Half the time it felt like her mind was pulling her every which way, nothing but her skin holding all the rage and pain she'd been swallowing for years at bay. She'd thought, maybe, if she could just get out of the shitty town, away from her demons, maybe the storm would stop and she could feel a little more sane. But it hadn't started yet.

Sure, Kylie was having a great time. Every second was better, by far, than a year spent in Apple Creek, she did feel considerably freer, looser, but there were still storms raging inside her she couldn't get rid of. Every time they parked for the night she'd leave the car and walk a little ways out into the desert night to smoke a cigarette, and that was when she'd start thinking.

Mostly about Gracie. She refused to let herself think of anything else. The pain of possibly losing Gracie was unbearable, she couldn't even imagine what was going to happen to her if her friend wasn't there to hold her together. Gracie would be fine. She was a brilliant, beautiful girl, and she'd become something incredible, but Kylie would go absolutely off the wall without her. It was hard to think about, but she let herself think about it, because it hadn't happened yet. It was easier to think about future pain than it was to think about past pain. Especially hers.

They had one last summer together and then it was over. Kylie was going to make damn sure it was one hell of a summer, that was for sure. She'd stolen money from her mother, and there was planning on getting the two of them into more trouble than they'd ever been in.

They were finally nearing Vegas as the sun was setting. Matt, the hitchhiker they'd picked up, was in the back, she was in the passenger seat smoking her last cigarette, and Gracie was driving. Kylie had never been more than five miles outside if Apple Creek, but she had to say, what she'd seen so far, she'd liked. She loved the hot desert air, the rocky red landscape, and the way everything was covered in a layer of sand and the stars glittered at night.

“I need cigarettes and we need gas.” Gracie said, pulling into a gas station, and Kylie nodded and flicked her wrist at her lazily, telling her to go ahead as she told them she'd be right back. It was quiet between her and Matt. She really had nothing to say to him and he had nothing to say to her either. Nothing real anyway. Nothing she was interested in. Just more of the forced charm he'd been feeding them for the past day. So instead of talking, Kylie watched her friend slip inside and flicked the end of her cigarette away.

Eventually, she came back out and Ky smirked when she tossed a pack of cigarettes and a water bottle in her lap, wasting no time tearing open the new pack and lighting up, just as Gacie did while she pumped them gas.

“This better be one hell of a party.” Gracie said, like the two of them knew how to party despite the fact that the most outrageous party they'd ever been to was Kenny Gale's annual end-of-the-summer bash, which he was only able to throw because his parents were always gone on vacation that week. It was a good time, but it probably looked like a Girl Scouts tea party compared to a Vegas party. “Three days in Vegas, then we're off again.” Gracie said towards her, like she was reminding her.

Kylie simply nodded and smirked, taking a drag off her cigarette, hoping like hell that they had a hell of a time.

Matt was prone to randomly taking off. Most of the time, it was for his gang. He was sent out a lot on orders to kill or pick up loads of drugs, which he was all too glad to follow, seeing as a lot of the other guys had to do jobs locally and he liked to travel around some. Most of the time, he was being told to hop a train to this city or that town, and everyone knew where he was, and things were fine, and he came back in a few days with the shipment, or after he'd made his kill.

It bothered his little sister that he was gone so much. She didn't like getting left alone with the gang members, he knew that, but these weren't the trips that bothered her the most. The trips where he came home and she wouldn't so much as look at him were the ones where he'd just up and leave.

He did it often. He had a hard time staying in Vegas, watching what was happening to Chelsea, so, if there was a lot of down time between jobs, Matt would take off and she hated him for it. He'd leave in the middle of the night and he knew that it scared her because she was afraid, one day, he wouldn't come back for her, but he always did. He couldn't leave her. She was the reason he did everything he did. He was just afraid, one of these times, she'd be sent to the hospital again and she'd die while he was gone.

That was why he very rarely stayed gone for more than a few days tops. That, and the fact that his leader liked to punish his running away by punishing Chelsea and he couldn't take the thought of her being hurt by him for more than a weekend or so. When the idea started to drive him nuts was when he made his way back home.

Mostly by hitchhiking, which is what he'd been doing for the past two days. One day, he spent in a truck drivers cab, the next, a couple of girls had picked him up. They were stunning, and he was still with them, and he knew he really shouldn't have, because girls that looked like them should have nothing to do with his world, but he'd invited them to a party at Tyler's house that night and they'd agreed.

They were getting close to Vegas and the sun was starting to go down as they pulled into a gas station and Gracie, the brunette, got out and went inside. He couldn't help but let his eyes follow her inside. She looked like she belonged on a magazine, and he knew a girl like that had no business being with him, but he couldn't help but want her. It's what had made him invite the two of then to the party. He couldn't help himself. When he saw a pretty girl, he had to have her.

Eventually, she came back out and he smirked when she tossed a pack of cigarettes into his lap and told him to thank her later. He nodded and lit one, taking a slow drag, watching her pump the gas. What he really wanted was something strong in his system, but he could tell just by looking at these girls, if he pulled out anything other than cigarettes would lose their trust and they wouldn't want to come to the party. So he just tried to enjoy his cigarette.

"This better be one hell of a party.” Gracie said, making smirk and nod. She had no idea what she was in for, and he watched her tell her friend they were only staying for three days before taking off again.

"It'll be worth having to give my ass a ride." Matt smirked, taking a drag off his cigarette, dying to hit the road again and get to the party so he could see Tyler and his sister, get shitfaced, and, hopefully, talk Gracie, or maybe both of them, into bed with him.

"It'll be worth having to give my ass a ride." She smirked as at his words as she finished pumping gas. She got back into the car and they were off again.

Grace felt like her first day of high school all over again. Nervous ad excited. They had never been to an actual party with people they didn’t know. Kenny’s parties were great sure, but they all knew each other, so it was more like a bunch of friends hanging out and drinking, before the local sheriff shut them down right before midnight. It was really pathetic thinking back on those parties.

It was about another forty five minutes before they were driving down the main Las Vegas Strip. All the sparkling lights were blindingly beautiful. She’d only ever seen Vegas in pictures and now that she was looking around, the pictures didn’t do the real thing any justice. If she was being completely honest when they’d first left she’d felt awful, because her father had given her quite the guilt trip, but no that they were there, she had nothing to feel guilty about she was finally living for the first time in her life.

They were stopped at a red light as the loud music from the strip and all the flashing lights surrounded them and she lend over kissing Ky’s cheek and laughing as they started driving again. Both girls had both had such a shitty life that they honestly deserved this trip, but Kylie deserved it more than her. Sure Gracie hadn’t exactly had it easy but she’d put that behind her it was just something she’d promised herself she’d do, however she knew that Kylie was still destroyed about Tyler leaving her and maybe Grace would finally work up the courage to tell her that Tyler didn’t really just up and leave her.

Eventually Matt started giving her directions and they pulled up outside of an decent sized house the sat on the outskirts of the strip, dessert surrounding the house and the music blaring from inside. Cars lined the streets and Gracie suddenly felt like she need to be wearing something a little more risqué.

“Matt, you mind waiting for us inside so we can change really quick?” she said offering him a brilliant smirk and a playful wink.

After his shower he stepped out, drying his hair with his towel before slipping into a pair of black jeans and a black t-shirt. He slicked his hair back, looking himself over in the mirror before he headed into his room and sat down on the side of the bed, he pulled a baggie of coke out and dumped it on his night stand cutting a few lines before snorting all of them. He whipped the blood from his nose he’d taken way too much, like he always did in hopes that maybe he’d take a little too much and he just wouldn’t wake up, he’d been wishing for that to happen for the past year.

He closed his eyes letting the drugs feel his blood stream, the music sounding clear all of a sudden and his senses on hyper alert. He knew he had to put on his fake charm cause his boss was coming and most the gang would be there. It wasn’t very often that his leader came to his parties, but apparently he had some business he needed to discuss with him. Tyler thoughts started running wild with the drugs in his system. He was beyond fucked up, having to leave Kylie was a big part of that, the other half of it was due to everything he’d been through and when he was alone and he had drugs in his system he got really depressed.

There was a knock on his door that he heard over the music and he sighed making his way over to the stereo turning the music down. He walked over to his door opening it to his little brother and he looked at him, his eyes red as he held his brothers eyes.

“Everyone’s asking for you down stairs.” Marshall said and Tyler hadn’t missed the way his brother’s eyes trailed over him as he took a step back like he wasn’t sure if he was right in the head or not. “Bunny sent meet up here, to see if you were okay.” He sighed rubbing the back of his neck. Everyone who knew Tyler aside from maybe the leader and Matt were scared of Ty because they knew what he was capable of.

He didn’t say anything though he just shut his bedroom door and walked past his brother and headed down the stairs. The house was fuller now. A few people greeted him, but he just ignored them and walked by as he headed into the living room that was already hazy from all the smoke. He sat down on the couch lighting a joint and smoking it. Bunny made herself comfortable in his lap and he didn’t fight it, he wrapped and arm around her as she started to kiss along his neck.

It was almost an hour before they were finally driving down the strip, and it was utterly beautiful. The glittering lights were hypnotising, better than any photograph she'd ever seen. They stopped at a red light and Gracie leaned over and kissed her cheek, laughing, making her smirk and laugh too. Nothing felt better then finally being out of Apple Creek and she couldn't wait to get to a real party and get really shitfaced. The alcohol and cigarettes she could dig up in Apple Creek were great, she liked being drunk, it pissed off her mother, but the lame "gatherings" they called parties were never enough to really get rid of all the crap on her mind.

At that point, Matt started directing Gracie and, eventually, they were sitting outside a rather large house filled with people. “Matt, you mind waiting for us inside so we can change really quick?” Gracie asked, and Kylie watched him agree and head inside, waiting until they were alone again to glance at Gracie with a wicked smirk.

"Fuck." She breathed, already able to tell, just based off the types of cars parked out front, what the party was going to be like. Not a single familiar face. "Not a pick up truck in sight." She laughed before leaning over the middle council, digging some things out of her bag in the back seat.

She had exactly three party dresses she'd bought with her mother's credit card for that trip. Before that night, she'd never needed anything like them, and it was pretty exiting to finally be able to use them. She turned back around, in her seat, pulling her top off, revealing a lace pink and black bra before pulling a tight black dress down over her head. It had thin spaghetti straps, and a fairly low dip in the front that showed the edges of her bra. She glanced at Gracie with a smirk, kicking off her converse before shimming out of her jeans and panties, pulling on a thong, followed by a pair of lace thigh-highs.

She worked quickly, dying to get inside, pulling her hair out of the ponytail it was in and flipping down the sun visor, so she could see herself in the mirror, shaking her long straight blond hair out so it had volume, and ringing her eyes in darker eye makeup than she'd ever worn. She looked sluttier than she ever had in her life, but she didn't care, she'd been dying to have some real fun for once. The guys in Apple Creek were nice, but that was it. They were nice. Which meant boring as shit.

Finally, she was finished and pulled on a black leather jacket, glancing over at Gracie with a smirk. "See you inside babe." She grinned, slipping out of the car and into the house.

It was full of people, the air was hazy, and the music was blasting. She took a step towards the crowd, but someone caught her elbow and turned her. It was Matt. He'd been waiting by the door for her and Gracie to come in.

Image

Matt hadn't missed the way the girls seemed utterly dazzled by the city lights that seemed so natural to him, which only reinforced his theory that they were pretty sheltered, and were in for a huge shock. He felt kind of horrible, inviting two innocent girls into his life, knowing it's be way too easy for them to get sucked down into it and never get back out, but he gave her directions anyway until, eventually, they were outside Tyler's.

She told him to wait inside for them so he nodded and got out, slipping into the house and leaning on the wall next to the door, smoking a cigarette, looking over the party to possibly find Tyler or his sister while he waited.

He was so preoccupied scanning the crowd for them, he almost missed the blond when she came in. She was almost unrecognizable. She'd ditched the old jeans, t-shirt, and converse for a tight black dress, leather jacket, and dark makeup. She almost looked like she belonged. Except there was still something about her that made it clear she was new to big parties like the one he'd invited her to.

He grabbed her arm and turned her back towards him before she could get away, and she looked shocked before she realized it was him and pulled her arm from his grip. "What the hell Matt?" She smirked, raising a brow and lighting a cigarette.

He pulled her close, smirking back at her. "You're going to want to stay with me. You and your friend both." He said in her ear over the music. "This is a pretty dangerous party with pretty dangerous people. You'd be crazy to go out there alone." He said, gesturing towards the crowd.

"Well guess what Matt?" She grinned back at him and he raised a brow, having a bad feeling he knew what she was going to say. "I'm crazy." With that, she pulled out of his grip and slipped into the crowd before he could catch her and he cursed and rolled his eyes, knowing she was in for some serious trouble she wouldn't know how to deal with. He sighed and stayed where he was though waiting for Gracie, knowing it'd be pointless to hunt her down with so many people there. Hopefully her friend had a little more common sense.

Kylie wasted no time digging into her bag for something to wear and as she got dressed, Gracie dug through her bag. She’d been hiding clothes that her father wouldn’t approve of for years. Not that she’d really ever been able to wear them anywhere. Eventually she’d decided on a simple tight black crop top and a pair of tight blue leggings She darkened her make-up just as Kylie was getting ready to get out of the car.

"See you inside babe." she said and Gracie gave her a wave letting her know she heard her as she drew on thick liner finishing each eye with a showy wingtip. She painted her lips with deep red lipstick before swapping her black flats for a pair of black heels, not that she needed them, she was already fairly tall. Finally she pulled her hair out of its bun letting her long dark golden brown hair fall in natural waves around her face and she could remember a time she ever looked that stunning or that slutty in all honesty. She almost didn’t recognize herself.

Before she headed inside she pulled out her cell phone, dialing her little brother’s number. Only all she got was his voice mail and she sighed as she tossed her phone into the glove box, before grabbing her purse and slipping out of the car. She was in the business of breaking hearts and she was better than good. She had a brilliant poker face and she knew exactly how to play a guy and the guy she had her heart set on playing was Matt. It was an addiction if she was being honest the rush she got from playing with a guy, it was like the perfect drug.

She slipped into the party, looking out over the unfamiliar sea of faces for either Matt or Kylie. However, she knew it’d be nearly impossible to find Kylie, just like if Kylie needed her I’d be near impossible to find her. Sure they were best friends, but they tended to go their own ways at parties unless there was an emergency. She placed a cigarette between her lips lighting it and taking a drag off of it as she decided where she wanted to start and what kind of trouble she wanted to get herself into.

Tyler was starting to get really numb, the kind of numb he’d spend the past year building himself up to. It was the kind of numb the mad him bitter and cold, but it also made him forget. He’d sold his soul to a life of drugs, sex, and murder and there was no saving him. Even if he had the chance to be saved he probably wouldn’t take it. The cruel reality of it was he was made for that life. Being good at killing people ran through his veins and being bad was in his DNA. He refused to die, yet all he wanted to do was be dead.

Everything blended around him a haze of smoke and faces. He couldn’t clearly see anyone and he didn’t care as long as he got through the party and when he woke he wouldn’t remember a thing. He took a long inhale from his joint as Vikki changed positions on his lap so that she was straddling him. His head was rested on the back of the couch as her lips moved along his neck. He fisted his hand in her hair and pulled her lips to his and kissed her hard. She moaned against his lips causing him to smirk, he had that effect on most girls.

He rocked his head forward, glancing out over the faces as Bunny continued her lips along his jawline. It was then he caught a glimpse of familiar blonde hair. Of course there were a million fake blonde’s in La Vegas, especially when it came to the show girl, Bunny being one of them, but he knew that walk, he knew her posture. He could pick her out in a room full of blonde’s. Then again, what the hell was she doing there of all places. It wasn’t right he had to be seeing things. He pushed Vikki off of him standing up.

“Babe, what is wrong with you tonight!” she yelled over the music. He glanced back to her over his shoulder, giving her a look as if telling her to shut the fuck up and stay where she was.

He wasn’t sure it was her and he was pretty positive it wasn’t, but on the off chance it was, he wanted her out of there. Not because he didn’t want to see her, but because as much as he knew all too well that she just trying to break free of the life she’d been raised getting mixed up in his world was not the way to go about it and he still had enough sense to know that he cared more about her then he was willing to admit. He followed her for a long to lagging behind her until he was sure it was her and when she’d gone out to the backyard where it was more private, he took his chance, grabbing her by her elbow and turning her to face him. Seeing her face up close again and feeling that heat between them was almost too much and her fought the familiar urge to lean in and kiss her, only on the outside he remained calm as if he didn’t know her, like he’d completely forgotten them and the truth was it was better for the both of them if she believed that.

“What the fuck are you doing here?” he spat a little harsher then he meant to, but he kept his eyes cold and his facial expression hard.

Kylie may be a sheltered small town girl, but she wasn't stupid. As she started to make her way through the crowd, she'd spotted Tyler. On the couch, making out with some girl. She had to admit, as much time as she'd spent hating him, it had hurt to see because there'd also been a part of her that had been hoping maybe, even though she couldn't think of one, maybe there was an acceptable explanation. Maybe he hadn't just left her because he'd gotten bored of her.

She'd also been shocked to see him, and pissed. Figures that, when she finally managed to get the hell out of Apple Creek and away from her problems, they just get thrown right back in her face.

She hadn't stayed there long though. She'd wanted to get out of there the second she'd seen him so she started pushing through people, looking for Gracie. However, she'd caught him following her out of the corner of her eye, so she knew a confrontation was unavoidable. She was just glad she'd managed to catch sight of him beforehand so she had time to collect herself, pushing her pain down and pulling her anger up.

She made her way towards the back, knowing it'd be a little less crowded out there, which was bad, because, if things got heated and he got pissed enough, there'd be no one around to stop him from hurting her, but it was also good because then no one would be in their business.

No sooner had she slipped outside than had someone grabbed her and she knew instantly it was him. The heat was all too familiar, and she hated that he could have that effect of her without feeling anything himself. He spun her so she was facing him, and she'd thought she was ready, but she'd been wrong. She'd never really be ready to face him again. He was extremely close, meaning she could feel the heat between them that had once been as familiar to her as the little town of Apple Creek, and as much as she hated him for what he did, it hurt terribly to know that she still felt it and he didn't. He probably never had.

She'd had a year to get over him. It had been a rough one. She'd loved him, and it had killed her when he'd left her, just like her father, without so much as a goodbye. The firsts few months, she was a wreck. She still was really, just a different kind of wreck. She'd forced herself to believe she didn't love him anymore. A lot of sex and drinking and time clinging to Gracie had finally gotten her to the point where she'd convinced herself she hated him.

And then, just when the wound he'd left in her heart had started to scab over with anger and bitterness and she'd started to get over him, he'd been thrown right back at her. And there he was, inches from her, eyes cold, like they'd never even happened. Like she'd been nothing but a pastime to fill his boring days in Apple Creek. She could tell he was surprised and confused to see her there, but that was it. He didn't look pained or glad or even angry to see her. Some emotion would be better than nothing because then at least she'd know he'd cared on some level, but there was nothing there and she could tell just by looking at him, he was a vastly different person now than he'd been when he was with her.

“What the fuck are you doing here?” He spat harshly at her and she raised an eyebrow.

She was hurt, but he wasn't allowed to see that side of her anymore. She'd showed it to him once and she felt like a fucking idiot because he'd taken off on her. So, like he was just anybody, she got angry instead. "Oh, fuck off." She spat bitterly, ripping her arm from his grip and taking a step back. "You're the last person in the world I owe an explanation. For anything." She hissed, seeing as he hadn't given her one when he'd left. She pulled a cigarette out of her jacket pocket and placed it between her lips, dipping her head a second to light it before slipping the lighter away and standing straight again as she took a slow drag, looking him over, blowing out a breath of smoke. "I didn't track you down though, if that's what you're wondering." She spat. "This is a freak accident, so no worries, I'm not here to beg you to take me back." She shrugged like they'd meant nothing to her too and looked away, taking another slow drag before turning away from him and heading back towards the house, not wanting to be near him and his cold eyes another second, needing to find Gracie before she either exploded or fell apart completely.

Gracie came in not too long after Kylie, looking drop dead gorgeous and almost unrecognizable, eyes darkly lined, wearing heels that made her already long, perfect legs even longer. She looked sexy as hell, and she sure as hell didn't fit in with a lot of the other girls there just because she didn't look trashy.

Her clothes were tight and revealing, sure, but she knew when enough was a enough with her makeup, and just the way she held herself somehow made her classier than a lot of the other girls. He knew, just by looking at her, if she didn't stick with him, every guy in the place would be after her and a lot of them would resort to things she wouldn't catch until it was too late in order to get her.

He stayed where he was for a second, smoking, watching her light herself a cigarette and look around the party, scanning it for him or her friend, almost looking lost, like she wasn't sure where she wanted to start and, when eyes started landing on her was when he finally smirked and stepped in, grabbing her just above the elbow and using the noise in the house as an excuse to pull her extremely close.

"You might want to stick with me babe." He grinned wickedly, looking her over. "I'll be honest, I'm dying to fuck you, just like pretty much every other man in the room, and I'm not going to lie and say I won't try, but the difference is, half of them will probably spike your drink or force you. I'm not that low."

He looked her over again before bringing his eyes to hers. "You can trust me. Especially when I say you don't want to be walking around here on your own." He shrugged. "I tried explaining it to your friend, but I lost her before I could even finish."

She was getting ready to finally headed into the party, alone. She felt someone grab her and spin her around and in a second she was facing Matt and she smirked as he pulled her close. The heat between them was undeniable, but she knew better then to give into it and so she simply held his eyes as she watched his eyes rake over her.

"You might want to stick with me babe." he grinned wickedly, forcing her to fight off a shiver. "I'll be honest, I'm dying to fuck you, just like pretty much every other man in the room, and I'm not going to lie and say I won't try, but the difference is, half of them will probably spike your drink or force you. I'm not that low." he said boldly causing her to smirk.

She wasn’t exactly sure that every man in the room wanted her like he said, but she wasn’t willing to argue, because his eyes on her made her swallow back her words. She knew just by the way he touched her that he was dangerous and she knew by the way he spoke he was far more experienced then she was. She should be scared of him, yet all he did was excite her.

"You can trust me. Especially when I say you don't want to be walking around here on your own."]/b] He shrugged and she raised a brow s she continued to hold his eyes. [b]"I tried explaining it to your friend, but I lost her before I could even finish." she let out a small laugh, if he thought Kylie was hard to hold on to, he was in for a treat with her.

She fisted his shirt in her hand pulling him even closer with w playful smirk on her face. Her lips pressed against his neck and moved teasingly along his neck till they reached his jawline where she finally pulled away and held his eyes. Her lips tingled where his skin had just been touching them and she wanted more than anything to go further than that, but Gracie wasn’t easy, nor was she desperate and she liked having the guy chase her. The way she saw it was if he chased her he was worth is, if he didn’t he wasn’t worth a second of her time. Even if she was only going to play him and leave him.

“How gentlemanly of you.” He lend in close enough, so her lips were just grazing the side of his skin.

She couldn’t understand why there was such a strong pull between them, but she chooses to ignore the feeling. She was good at ignoring her feelings, her dead beat mother had taught her how to do that. Only most people just assumed it wasn’t Gracie who was fucked up, because she looked entirely too sweet, like the girl next door and it was all the guys who were fucking her over. However that was far from the truth, Gracie was fucked up from her string of bad luck with guys and the four years she’d spent living on the street with her mother.

“I’m a big girl though.” She breathed against his skin pressing her lips to his cheek, gently, seductively. “It’s cute, you wanting to protect me and all, but I left home to get away from my daddy. Not find a new one.” She said pulling away and giving him a wink as pushed away from him and slipped into the crowed of druggies and somehow she felt more at home there with the people who were just like her mother then her own father or Apple Creek and she knew exactly why, because her mother had practically brainwashed her all those years ago.

He knew that she was going to fight him, she was a fighter it was in her DNA, just like being bad was in his. She ripped her arm from his grip and he rolled his eyes, running his fingers through his hair. As he watched her preparing him for what she was about to say, because he’d hurt her if she pissed him off, if he couldn’t control himself. He’d never hurt her before, because back in Apple Creek he’d actually been off the drugs thanks to Kylie, his aunt, and Gracie. They’d all managed to keep his addictive mind preoccupied. Now, he was a wildcard a loose cannon, waiting to go off at a pin drop.

"Oh, fuck off." she spat harshly as she took a step back and he fought the urge to take a step forward and grab her again. "You're the last person in the world I owe an explanation. For anything."

She hissed and it took everything in him to keep his cool. If she only knew the fucking truth and what he’d gone through the past year, he watched her light a cigarette. That brought back a flood of memories watching the lighter light up her thin, beautiful face. He wasn’t sure if he remembered how to love anymore, maybe it was more of a dangerous obsession with her and as she stood there he could feel himself needing her all over again. If she spent an hour with him she’d wonder what happened to the guy he used to be, sure she knew he was dangerous, he’d told her everything about his past, but he’d never raised a hand to her, they’d barely fought because he always let her win. But, now it was different he was violent. He beat the shit out of girls when they talked back to him.

"I didn't track you down though, if that's what you're wondering." She spat, pulling him from his thoughts. "This is a freak accident, so no worries, I'm not here to beg you to take me back." she shrugged like it was no big deal but he could read right through her, she was transparent, maybe not to other but to him, he could tell just by the way she’d looked away, she was still in pain and that was painful, though the pain he felt he knew was nothing compared to what she was going through, because he was so broken and numb now, he could barely feel the pain.

He watched her head back towards the house and he ran his hands through his hair again, fighting the urge to go after her. He’d hurt her if he touched her again and he knew that, but he couldn’t help it he wasn’t good at not getting his way. He caught up to her quickly grabbing her arm tight enough he knew it would leave a bruise on her upper arm as he spun her to face him and shoved roughly against the house. He could feel eyes on them, but he knew no one would step in because they were all terrified of him. If he was slapping around a girl, he had good reason too. That was what everyone agreed on a long time ago, because getting in Wolf’s way was ground for death.

He pinned her harshly against the wall. His fingers digging into her skin and he could feel himself quickly loosing grip on his temper. He smirked wickedly and the smirk was dark, murderous. It wasn’t him that much was obvious.

“Then what are you tracking down baby doll.” He hissed, venomously “You left your fucking town because you were looking for something. Whether it was me or a new life.” He said like he had her all figured out. “Your running, just like me Baby, you’re always going to be a runner, Gracie too. That’s while we all fit together so perfectly.” He spat harshly. “Because were all fucking nut cases.” He grabbed her chin roughly forcing her to look him straight in the eyes. “You’re going to burn in hell right alongside of me. How romantic.” He laughed darkly. “You’re a fucking joke, go home.” He said squeezing her harder, holding her so tightly she couldn’t slip out of his grip even if she tired. He was far too strong for her, he had her cornered with no escape.

Kylie knew she wasn't going to get away so easily. Not after what she'd seen in his eyes. He wasn't about to let her attitude slide and that scared her more than she'd like to admit. If she was being honest with herself, she wasn't walking quickly because seeing him hurt too much, she was moving quickly because she was afraid of whatever he'd become and she didn't want to get to know the person that had replaced him in the year they'd been apart.

However, she wasn't fast enough. He caught up to her and this time, when he grabbed her arm, it was painful and she knew it'd bruise, but she refused to show it. She wanted to whirl around and slap him, hoping it'd surprise him enough that she could get away, but before she had the chance, he threw her hard against the side of the house, nearly knocking the wind out of her. People were watching them, but not one made a move and she could tell that she'd stumbled into a world where he was in a position of authority.

He pinned her there roughly, holding her painfully tightly and she could see the temper raging in his eyes. She'd always known he was violent. He'd told her everything about himself, so she knew he had a bloody history, but he'd never hurt her before. Still, on the few times they'd fight, she could see it. He always let her win, but she'd always been able to see the storm boiling just under his skin and she'd assumed he was dangerous. However, assuming it and experiencing it were two different things entirely.

Stupidly, she'd believed he'd never hurt her, but as she looked at him, smirking darkly at her, she knew he was about to. Still, she refused to let herself be afraid of him. He'd be able to see it if she felt it and she didn't want him to think that, just because he'd tossed her around, he'd won.

“Then what are you tracking down baby doll?” He hissed, tone so dark she had to fight back a shiver. “You left your fucking town because you were looking for something. Whether it was me or a new life.” He said simply and she hated that she knew nothing about him anymore, but he still had every single detail of who she was. “You're running, just like me Baby, you’re always going to be a runner, Gracie too. That’s why we all fit together so perfectly.” He spat so harshly, she turned her head away despite herself, knowing he'd see it as weakness, but unable to make herself hold his eyes. They were stabbing her right in the lungs and she couldn't breathe. “Because were all fucking nut cases.”

With that, he grabbed hold of her chin roughly and forced her to look him in the eye. “You’re going to burn in hell right alongside of me. How romantic.” He laughed darkly, glaring right into her eyes and she couldn't make herself move. “You’re a fucking joke, go home.” He spat and his grip on her only tightened to the point where she couldn't get out. She'd had her chance, but his words had paralyzed her so she'd missed it.

Kylie laughed mockingly, knowing it was probably stupid to provoke him, but not really caring at that point. She leaned forward, so her lips were centimeters from his, smirking wickedly as she let silence longer a second. "No." She finally whispered before laughing again and resting her head against the wall behind her, looking him over with a smirk.

"Shut the fuck up Tyler." She finally spat bitterly. "I'm not going anywhere. I'm not yours anymore, remember?" She shrugged. "I don't give a shit what you do to me, I don't take orders from you." She hissed, holding his eyes, wanting him to know she was just as pissed as him. "There's nothing between us anymore, you've made that abundantly clear, I promise you, I won't lose sleep over it." She shrugged casually. "Now get the fuck back inside to your slutty girlfriend and leave me the hell alone." She raised a brow, knowing it was stupid to fight him, but unable to back down. She'd spent too much time hating him to just fold because he'd taken it upon himself to scare her away. "You never seemed to have a problem with it before." She smirked darkly, referring to the way he'd left her.

Matt smirked when she laughed, knowing he was in for a lot of work with her, but for some reason, he didn't care. He liked a girl who didn't melt all over him with a few words. She was going to make him chase.

She reached out, grabbing a fistful of his shirt in her hand and pulling him closer, making him smirk wickedly, unable to ignore the magnet-like pull and fiery heat between them. She pressed her lips against his neck, setting fire to his skin in a way he'd never felt before before kissing teasingly up it and along his jaw. She drove him nuts, but he wasn't willing to show it. On the outside, he remained collected, refusing to let her know her game was working. She held his eyes and he held hers back calmly. “How gentlemanly of you.” She leaned in close again, lips barely grazing his skin. There was something magnetic between them, he could tell that much, what he didn't understand was why. He'd been with a thousand girls. Some were easy and bored him quickly, some played games and lasted longer, but he'd never felt so drawn to someone as he did to her.

“I’m a big girl though.” She breathed, kissing his cheek slowly. “It’s cute, you wanting to protect me and all, but I left home to get away from my daddy. Not find a new one.” She aid before simply pulling away from him and into the crowd behind her, making him smirk. He sighed and flicked his cigarette away before heading after her quickly, following her dark hair through the crowd.

It took a little while, but eventually, he managed to catch up to her, grabbing her hips and spinning her around to face him with a wicked smirk on his lips. "Games are for children baby." He breathed simply in her ear before fisting a hand tightly in her hair and pulling her lips to his, kissing her hard, slipping his tongue into her mouth and kissing her even harder in a way that typically made women melt in his arms. The kiss was like pure fire, and the incredible way it felt, without even so much as a joint in his system only made him grip her hair tighter so she couldn't get away.

There was something between her and Matt that much had been obvious when he’d gotten in the car forty eight hours ago. Somehow she knew then that the two of them could be a dangerous combination, she knew now after feeling what she’d just felt between the two of them that she’d been right. If he hung out at these kind of parties. The kind of parties that her mother took her too when she was a little girl, were the same kind of parties that her father preached about being among the worsts sins. Yet there she was and a part of her hated the thought of ending up like her mother.

Matt was the kind of guy her dad had warned her about her entire life and despite what everyone thought about Gracie she was fucked up, which would make for the perfect modern day Bonnie and Clyde and the thought of that almost made her want to give into him just to see what would happen. His hands on her hips stole her breath, because of the electricity that ran through her body from a single touch, yet by the time she was facing him she was completely composed with a simple smirk on her ruby red lips, to match his.

"Games are for children baby." He breathed closed to her ears so she could hear his voice over the music. She was about to shove him away to go find Gracie until his hand slipped into her hair fisting it in his hand.

He pressed his lips to hers had, slipping his tongue past her lips kissing her even hard and she smirked against his lips. It felt better then incredible. She moaned against his lips despite herself. She was fairly certain that if he hadn’t been holding onto her she would have very well floated away, he knew what he was doing that much was obvious. He made her feel completely alive, he made her feel like she should and for that simple moment with his lips against hers, for the first time in her life she didn’t feel so fucked up. Her whole body was on fire as she wrapped her arms around his neck and smirked against his lips as she slipped her tongue past his lips.

She’d kissed a lot of guys, but none of them had ever made her feel like she was in some stupid teen romance movie and she loved the feeling despite herself. For once she actually felt her age, like she was experiencing life like she should be and she kissed him back hard letting him know all of the with her kiss, because she could never actually thank him, he wouldn’t understand. She managed to pull away from his lips and she knew she probably looked flush and that was the only thing that gave her away, because she still played it cool, like the kiss had been nothing more ten a playful kiss. She lend in close resting her cheek against his, so when she spoke he could hear her above the music.

“So are you going to show this small town preacher’s daughter how to party?” she smirked clicking her tongue ring against her teeth, something she did quite often when she was flirting.

Her mocking laugh only pissed him off more. Why the fuck did she have to be there and why the fuck did she have to be so stubborn and fight back. He had already preconceived that he’d end up hurting her and if she pissed him off enough he’d kill her, with not so much as a hint of regret, at least not until he saw her laying there lifeless then he’d more than likely kill himself. It was a shitty situation, he couldn’t have her, yet she was the only thing he wanted.

His eyes were piercing through his as her lips were centimeters from his had he might have kissed her, had she not refused to leave. His breathed was short and uneven as he felt his heart rate climbing. She was purposely provoking him and he wished she’d stop, had he’d been in the right mind, he wouldn’t be as dangerous.

"Shut the fuck up Tyler. I'm not going anywhere. I'm not yours anymore, remember?" she spat with a shrug. "I don't give a shit what you do to me, I don't take orders from you. There's nothing between us anymore, you've made that abundantly clear, I promise you, I won't lose sleep over it." She was disrespecting him in front of everyone watching and he knew he’d have to put her in her place and it wouldn’t be pretty. "Now get the fuck back inside to your slutty girlfriend and leave me the hell alone. You never seemed to have a problem with it before." She smirked darkly and his jaw clench. His grip was so tight on her now he was surprised he hadn’t broken any of her small bones.

He slapped her across the face so hard that it had echoed in the background and her nose immediately started to bleed. He grabbed a fist full of her long hair twisting it tightly around his hand forcing her to look at him. He was gone now, any trace of him that might have been there before was gone.

“You’re in my house bitch.” He hissed in a warning tone. “I could hand anyone of these strangers my gun and tell them to shoot you and they’d do it.” He smirked. “I wouldn’t even half to get my hands dirty, they’d take the blame to, if I told them to.” He explained his tone was harsh. “Then again, no body no evidence, no one goes to jail.” He shrugged like he was actually debating doing it. “That’s who the fuck your messing with babe.” He said letting her know just how dangerous he was. “This isn’t your small town, this is the real world.” He said centimeters from her face.

He glanced around before calling someone over. He knocked Kylie harshly to her knees, though still keeping his grip on her hair. He pulled his gun out from behind him, cocking it and the sound of the bullet entering the barrel was clear even with the music from inside the house. He handed it to the guy he’d called over.

“Put it to her head.” He ordered and the guy looked at him confused shaking his head. He tightened his grip on Ky’s hair holding her in place. “Put. The. Gun. To. Her. Head.” He ordered slowly his words were murderous. The guys hand shook and after a moment he placed the gun to Kylie’s head. “Pull the trigger.” Wolf continued as he glanced down to Kylie with a dark smirk.

“Kylie?” his little brother’s voice sounded shocked. “Tyler what the fuck are you doing!” Marshall yelled giving the guy who had the gun in his hand enough time to hesitate and shove the gun back into Tyler’s hands before quickly slipping out of site. Tyler pulled her to her feet by her hair.

“I’m not going to tell you again, get the fuck out of my house.” He said letting his eyes linger on her for a moment longer before he headed towards his little brother, who realized what he’d done and hung his head like he knew Tyler was going to beat the shit out of him.

Tyler was holding her so tightly at that point she had to push back the tears that had started to sting her eyes and she knew she'd pushed too far. Even before he made a move, she knew he'd lost it and she had to admit, she was terrified. He slapped her right across the face, causing her head to whip to the side so fast her vision spun and her skin felt like it was on fire. The entire side of her face was in searing pain and she could feel the blood starting to trickle from her nose. She couldn't remember anyone ever hitting her so hard in her life and she hated that there were eyes on them, watching him treat her like that, but he didn't stop there.

He grabbed hold of her hair tightly, winding it around his fist and using it to turn her head back towards him so she had to face him. At that point, his eyes were so dark she knew he was going to kill her and suddenly her knees were weak and she just wanted him to stop. She'd never wanted to be home in Apple Creek more in her entire life. She knew he wasn't going to stop though. Not until, either she was dead, or he'd completely humiliated her and hurt her to the point she wished she was dead.

“You’re in my house bitch.” He hissed and Kylie closed her eyes and took a deep breath, trying to slow her heart rate. “I could hand anyone of these strangers my gun and tell them to shoot you and they’d do it.” He smirked and she couldn't hold back a shiver this time. “I wouldn’t even have to get my hands dirty, they’d take the blame to, if I told them to. Then again, no body no evidence, no one goes to jail.” He shrugged and she could see the intent in his eyes.

“That’s who the fuck you're messing with babe.” He spat. “This isn’t your small town, this is the real world.” He said, centimeters from her face and this time, there was nothing there. She was too afraid now, to feel the heat between them and she knew that's exactly what he wanted, but she couldn't help herself. She was honestly terrified he'd kill her. She didn't know this Tyler. She didn't know what he was capable of, but she knew she was about to find out.

Kylie's eyes follows his nervously as he glanced around and called someone over before knocking her down swiftly to her knees. She wanted to run, but she couldn't. He still had his grip on her hair and her fear had her frozen there, on her knees in front of everyone. She watched him pull his gun out and cock it, handing it to the guy and suddenly, her hands were shaking. She wanted to believe he couldn't do it. She wanted to think maybe what they'd had had been real for him too and maybe he was in there somewhere, but she knew that was just her stupidly hoping for something that wasn't real. She'd never really known him.

“Put it to her head.” He ordered and the guy and Kylie's eyes flicked up to the man who looked confused, trying to beg him with her eyes not to do it while Tyler tightened his grip on her hair and held her in place. “Put. The. Gun. To. Her. Head.” He ordered slowly and Kylie closed her eyes as the guy finally obeyed. The metal of the gun was cold where it was press just above and between her eyebrows, and her face was still burning from his slap, but she practically couldn't feel it anymore. All she could feel was the gun and Tyler's grip on her hair. “Pull the trigger.” He continued and Kylie made the mistake of opening her eyes and catching Tyler's smirk.

Someone in the distance said her name, but it sounded miles away. The only things that existed to her, in that moment, were the gun, Tyler, and herself. Whoever was shouting at Tyler wasn't important. What was important was that she was about to die. At Tyler's hands. Suddenly. The gun was gone and she blinked, realizing that the man had handed Tyler the gun back and taken off when his brother had interrupted him.

He yanked her back to her feet by her hair, and she couldn't hold his eyes, not as the reality of what had just happened started to sink in. “I’m not going to tell you again, get the fuck out of my house.” She felt his eyes on her another second longer before he finally released her and took off towards his brother.

Kylie stayed where she was for a minute though, still shocked, feeling broken and more humiliated than she'd ever felt in her life. She didn't even realize her whole body was trembling until she had to take a step back and lean on the wall because her knees were weak. She lifted a hand to her stinging face to realize also, that her cheeks were wet. At what point had she started crying?

With a final, shaky sigh, Kylie glanced at Tyler with his brother and wiped her face, not caring that she was leaving black streaks down her cheeks from all the make up she'd put on. She pushed off the wall and made her way towards the back door, stopping when she grabbed the handle and gathering what was left of her courage to turn back and hold Tyler's eyes a second. "I'm sorry." She breathed shakily, though she wasn't totally sure what it was she was apologizing for. "All I ever did to you was love you. I won't make that mistake again." She said so quietly she wasn't sure he'd even heard it over the music coming from inside the house, but she didn't care. She wasn't giving him time to react to it. She slipped inside and started pushing past people to find Gracie.

It took longer than she'd wanted it to, but she finally managed to find her with Matt, on the couch, in his lap. "Grace." She shouted over the music and grabbed her friend's arm, pulling her off Matt, to her feet and turning her to face her, knowing she'd be able to tell something was horribly wrong just by the way her body was shaking, her face was probably bruised, her nose was bleeding, and her cheeks were covered in her running makeup. She never let herself look shaken, let alone cry. Hardly ever even in front of Gacie.

"We have to get the fuck out of here." She glanced at Matt on the couch, knowing she'd want to stay and finish what she'd started with him, holding her hand out to her. "At least give me your keys so I can. I'll come back for you later if you want to stay, but I can't." She shook her head.

Matt didn't give a shit about the people around them. As far as he was concerned, they were the only two people in the world. He grinned against her lips when she moaned into the kiss, able to tell he had her. She was small town, that much was obvious, and it was also obvious that she'd never been kissed the way he was kissing her.

The way she kissed him back was almost like she was thanking him and he knew she hadn't experienced a whole lot in her life and that was what the trip she was on with her friend was all about. Finally living. Matt, for some reason, was more than happy to give that to her, and he wanted to be the guy that made her little three-day stop in Vegas completely unforgettable.

Eventually, she managed to pull away from his lips and he smirked at how flushed she looked, despite how calm she acted, knowing he'd really gotten to her and loving every minute of it. She leaned in close to him, cheek against his, lips next to his ear, making him grin wickedly and wrap his arms around her. “So are you going to show this small town preacher’s daughter how to party?” She smirked and he raised a brow and smirked back. Preacher's daughter. Figured. No one in little towns like the one she'd no-doubt come from wanted to escape like the preacher's children.

Matt grinned but didn't answer her, just took her hand and pulled her with him, through the party, until they were in the living room. Bunny was there and, as they passed, she asked him if he'd seen Wolf, but he just shook his head and kept pulling Gracie until he pulled her down onto the couch with him, positioning her in his lap and wrapping his arms around her.

He took out a pill, holding it between them so she could see it before smirking and placing two on his tongue, pressing his lips hard against hers, slipping one of the pills into her mouth and swallowing the other. It'd make her more than high. The fiery effect he was already having on her and she had on him would be multiplied and she'd feel better than she'd ever felt in her life.

Matt continued to kiss her, one hand on the back of her neck, the other running up and down her spine as he did so. He kissed her lips, her neck, her jaw, her collar, and he was about to stand and pull her upstairs into one of the bedrooms when she was pulled out of his lap and he glanced to to see her blond friend was back, looking like she was in bad shape. He couldn't hear their words, but it wasn't hard to tell someone had roughed her up, probably tried to force her into their car, or in bed, or into taking something she hadn't wanted to. He'd tried to warn her, but he didn't say anything, just watched Gracie. It was her call what to do.

He grinned as he laced their fingers together and pulled her through the party they were stopped by someone a blonde who looked like she might have been really beautiful at one point in time, but now she just looked worn from what Gracie could only assume was years of drugs. She asked if they’d seen someone by the name of Wolf. Matt told her no before he sat down on the couch and pulled Grace to his lap.

She smirked loving every second of his full attention on her. He wrapped an arm around her and pulled her close as he pulled out a pill and held it up letting her see it and that scared that shit out of her but she stayed calm and collected. Shed promised herself she’d never end up like her mother and as he smirked and placed two of the pills on his tongue she started to rethink everything. It was fight or flight and just as she was about to get up and go find Kylie and tell her they needed to get the hell out of there.

Only before she had the chance his lips were pressed to hers and he kissed her hard and she couldn’t find it in herself to pull away. He was too damn intoxicating for words. He’d passed her one of the pills and she reacted by swallowing it because she was too caught up in his kiss to try and pull away to spit it out. His fingertips ran along her spine leaving electrical sparks everywhere is fingers touched, even though her close she could feel how fiery his touch was. His lips moved along her neck and she stretched it making it longer as his lips continued along her jaw and collarbone and he was driving her absolutely crazy. Gracie was too caught up in what Matt’s touch felt like, to hear or see Kylie coming.

She felt someone pull her up from the couch and it took her a moment to realize it was Kylie, because Matt had practically hypnotized her. She took a second to look over her friend and everything suddenly came into focus around her and that’s when she realized they were in over their heads and they needed to get out of their especially after she’d just taken whatever the fuck Matt had given her, there was no telling what he was planning on doing with her. Sure he said she could trust him, but she didn’t even know him.

"We have to get the fuck out of here." Ky said before he eyes flicked to Matt and then back to her and Gracie nodded in agreement. "At least give me your keys so I can. I'll come back for you later if you want to stay, but I can't." She said opting for Gracie to stay, be she didn’t want the two of them splitting up.

“No.” Grace said sternly over the music she laced her fingers with Kylie’s because she could quickly feel herself slipping under the controlled high of whatever Matt had slipped her. She pulled Kylie through the party and out the front door. “Your right.” Gigi breathed once they were alone out front. “We have to get the fuck out of her, that guy just slipped me something and I don’t want to wait around to see what he was trying to make me forget.” She said honestly. “I better not drive though.” She said leaning against the wall heavily for support as everything around her felt like it was spinning. “Who did that to you?” She whispered looking over her friend. Never once had Kylie looked so terrified, nor had either of them ever both been scared at a party. They were the type of girls that knew how to party at least in Apple Creek.

Tyler grabbed Marshall roughly, causing the younger version of himself to tense, getting ready for Tyler’s brutality. "I'm sorry." Tyler heard, causing him to glance and see Kylie. His jaw clenched. It wasn’t her fucking fault none of it was. "All I ever did to you was love you. I won't make that mistake again." if he hadn’t been focused on her he wouldn’t have heard her and before he had a chance to stop her she’d disappeared into the house.

“Fuck!” He yelled pissed off at himself. “Why’d you have to do that?” he hissed at his brother, gripping him tightly again and glaring into his eyes. “You’re always sticking your nose where it doesn’t belong, Marsh. That’s how yourself killed.” He closed his eyes taking a breath trying to calm himself.

“What was I supposed to do?” Marshall said glaring back at his brother and actually speaking up for the first time in a long time and it surprised Tyler. “Let you kill her. You love her and you know it Ty. You kill her you kill yourself.” Marshall said shoving Tyler off of him and slipping into the house after Kylie.

He’d never admit it but his brother was right. His brother knew how much pain he was in, he’d help keep Tyler alive this long. “Shit.” He breathed running his fingers through his hair as he headed after his brother.

“No.” Grace answered instantly and Kylie was glad. She didn't really trust herself to be alone after what had just happened. His leaving her was one thing, his becoming some cruel new person she didn't recognize was another, but the realization that Tyler would have killed her was too much to handle and she knew if Gracie wasn't there, she'd completely lose it and do something stupid.

Gracie laced fingers with hers and pulled her outside, and it wasn't hard to tell just by looking at her that she was on something. “You're right.” Her friend breathed once they were out front. “We have to get the fuck out of here, that guy just slipped me something and I don’t want to wait around to see what he was trying to make me forget.” She said honestly and Kylie nodded, understanding. “I better not drive though.” She said and leaned against the wall.

Kylie sighed and leaned next to her, placing a cigarette between her lips and lighting it. “Who did that to you?” She whispered and Kylie felt her eyes on her.

She waited a second before answering, looking Gracie over while she took a drag off her cigarette, debating not telling her and shrugging it off like it had been just some guy because a big part of her was embarrassed of the fact that Tyler had treated her so horribly. However, it was Gracie. She couldn't lie to Gracie. Even if she tried, she'd see right through it. "Ran into an old friend." She sighed out a breath of smoke.

"Turns out, when Tyler left me, he ended up in Vegas." She bit her lip and sighed. "This is his house and if a gun and a slap in the face is any indication, we're not welcome." Kylie tried to sound stronger than she felt, but even she could tell it was a weak attempt so she just sighed and blew out a breath of smoke, holding out her hand for the car keys. "Come on, give me the keys, let's get out of here." She breathed.

Matt sighed and watched them go, knowing he'd probably freaked her out with the pill and he still wanted her badly, but he wasn't about to chase her down. It wouldn't be fair to her, with the drug in her system, and he may be a lot of things, but he wasn't that guy. He wasn't going to take advantage of her like that. He hoped he'd see her again before her three days were up, but he highly doubted it.

Matt stayed there for a moment on the couch, smoking a joint before spotting Tyler coming in from the back door, just after his brother, he normally would have gone over and greeted him, but there was something wrong, he could tell by the brisk way he was walking, he was more agitated than usual so he waited a minute before finally standing and heading over, placing a hand on his friend's shoulder.

"I'd really hate to be the guy that pissed you off." He joked, turning him to face him with a smirk. It had been a while since he'd seen him. "What's going on Tyler?" He asked, glancing around the party quickly. "The boss here yet?" He asked but they both knew what that question really meant. Since his home was close to her hospital and, in order to keep her as a bargaining tool to keep him loyal, his sister lived with him so, with their boss, came Chelsea and he was dying to see her.

Gracie was grateful when her best friend lit a cigarette and put it between her lips. She could feel herself trying to hold on. She down small stuff like smoked weed once or twice, but that was it. She focused on the smoke from the cigarette in front of her as she blew it out but even that was hard to do. She squeezed her eyes closed as she absentmindedly flicked the ash from her cigarette and it was quite between them for a moment with only the laugh from inside the party and the loud music filling the air until Kylie finally spoke.

"Ran into an old friend." She sighed and Gracie with what clarity she had left already figured out what Kylie was talking about. People joked that the girls had twin telepathy. "Turns out, when Tyler left me, he ended up in Vegas." Grace shook her head and she wished she was sober, because she’d beat the shit out of him for what Kylie looked like. "This is his house and if a gun and a slap in the face is any indication, we're not welcome." Despite the faux strength in her friends voice Gigi knew Ky was in pain, she’d spent the last year trying to heal Kylie’s broken heart, trying to tape the pieces back together. "Come on, give me the keys, let's get out of here."

Gracie nodded as she took one final drag off her cigarette, before she flicked it away and through blurred vision, searched the bottom of her purse for her keys. When she heard the familiar jingle she pulled them out and tossed them to Kylie, before the two of them started off towards her car. They had spent most nights sleeping in the Gracie’s car, but they’d promised their selves when they got to Vegas they’d get an actual hotel room if even if it was at a cheap Motel 8.

“Gracie! Kylie wait!” Grace paused as she reached for her car door to see Tyler’s younger brother jogging towards them, he’d grown up a lot in the past years.

“Kylie fuck him. Let’s go.” Gracie breath, having a hard time getting the words out.

Tyler needed to stop his brother, because he’d done his job by scaring Kylie off and if she’d still had any feelings left for him, those feeling were as good as gone now. He wondered if he would have actually killed her. He knew that the guy he’d called over wouldn’t do it and that’s why he’d called him over in the first place. Ty was incredible at reading people and he guessed the guy would hesitate and freak out and Tyler would have had to do it himself had Marshall not interrupted. Once Tyler set his mind on doing something there was no stopping him, he’d intended on scaring Kylie, but he could have easily taken it too far. He pushed past people hoping to find his brother before his brother found Kylie or worse Gracie.

He felt a hand on his shoulder and he tensed if it was Bunny, she’d distract him from finding his brother with her whining and nagging about him not spending every second with her. He hoped that it wasn’t her. He turned to see Matt and he let out a relived sigh. He hadn’t seen Matt in God knows how long, Matt was always on the move, yet he somehow always came back and Tyler kind of envied his constant life of traveling and not having a girl h had to worry about.

"I'd really hate to be the guy that pissed you off." He teased and Tyler smirked "What's going on Tyler? The boss here yet?" Tyler sighed running his fingers through his hair.

Shit, Bryan. he thought to himself. Very few people knew his real name, if fact he was pretty sure himself and Matt were among the select few. Bryan or better known as their boss took care or more like used Matt’s little sister and Tyler could read right through Matt’s question.

Ty shrugged. “Nothing’s going on. Just gotta find Marsh, before he get’s himself into trouble.” He said honestly. “As far as the big guy, he won’t be here till everyone is shit faced, he doesn’t want anyone remembering he was here, you know how he is.” Tyler rolled his eyes. “You enjoying the party?” he smirked wickedly. “Do me a favor, fuck my girl so she’ll leave me the hell alone.” He said jokingly, yet he was being completely serious.

Kylie was glad Gracie didn't really say anything. She was comfortable telling her anything, honestly, and if there was one person in the world that could make her feel better, it was Gracie, but she really didn't feel like talking about it. At least not at a the moment. It was still a shock to her so it hadn't completely sunk in yet, and she knew when it did, she'd probably be a mess. Besides, she knew if Grace was in her right mind, she'd march right back inside to beat the shit out of Tyler, and that was the last thing she wanted. If Tyler had been able to kill her, he wouldn't even blink before killing Gracie.

Thankfully though, Gracie just nodded and flicked her cigarette away, digging through her purse for her keys and Kylie could tell she was struggling. Part of her was extremely pissed at the guy who'd given her the pill for being an ass and trying to take advantage of her, but after what had happened with Tyler, she wasn't stupid enough to cause trouble with any of these people. She didn't know who they were, but they were dangerous. All of them. That much was obvious.

Finally, Gracie managed to get her keys out and tossed them to her. Kylie thanked whatever god was out there that she was sober so she could get them out of there and they didn't get stuck there. The last thing she wanted was to stay. Tyler had practically threatened her to get lost, and she wasn't taking her chances. She wanted out of there. She wanted to run a scalding got bath and sleep on an actual bed, and drink until she either forgot Tyler or passed out in the safety of a hotel room with just herself and Grace.

They made their way out to the car and Kylie unlocked it and reached for the handle just as someone came running out of the house towards them. “Gracie! Kylie wait!” Kylie hesitated, glancing at Gracie briefly before up at Marshall, Tyler's younger brother. It had been so long since she'd seen him and she'd been too preoccupied with Tyler to really notice him before, but he no longer looked like Tyler's kid brother, that was for sure.

“Kylie fuck him. Let’s go.” Gracie breathed, and Kylie sighed and looked her over before glancing back at Marshall. She couldn't believe what she was doing.

"Just get in the car Grace." She breathed. "I just want to know what he wants." She whispered to her friend before walking around to the hood of the car and leaning against it, crossing her arms in front of her as she looked Marshall over. "What do you want Marshall? Tyler made it pretty fucking clear he doesn't want us here so you've got one minute and then we're leaving." She said sternly, wanting him to know she had no intentions of staying.

Tyler just shrugged and Matt looked him over. He looked like he was in a hurry to get somewhere. “Nothing’s going on. Just gotta find Marsh, before he get’s himself into trouble.” He said honestly and Matt nodded, understanding. “As far as the big guy, he won’t be here till everyone is shit faced, he doesn’t want anyone remembering he was here, you know how he is.” Tyler rolled his eyes and Matt sighed.

Part of him was glad Chelsea wouldn't be at the party until later and she wouldn't be there for too terribly long, but it wasn't too comforting, seeing at being at the boss's house all day wasn't a whole hell of a lot better. He did want to see her though. He'd missed her more than he'd ever admit, so, even though she'd get pissed at him, he was still dying to talk to her again and make sure she was okay.

“You enjoying the party?” He smirked wickedly and Matt smirked back and nodded. “Do me a favor, fuck my girl so she’ll leave me the hell alone." He joked and Matt laughed. Bunny could be annoying as shit. He knew that just by watching her and Tyler together. Honestly, he was surprised Tyler, with as short of a temper as he had, hadn't strangled her yet.

"Unfortunately, if I do that, she'll probably start following me around too." He laughed. "But I'll get her shit-faced enough she passes out and leaves you alone the rest of the night." He nodded, glancing towards the front door. "I saw your brother heading out front by the way." He offered. "See ya later man." He shrugged before slipping into the crowd to find Bunny and keep her preoccupied like he'd said.

"Just get in the car Grace. I just want to know what he wants." she whispered and Gracie thought about it for a moment before she listened, because in all honesty she was way too out of it to sit there and try and argue with her or stand there. She opened the car door and slipped into the passenger seat. She lend her head against the head rest and closed her eyes as she reached for the pack of cigarettes in the center council and without having to open her eyes reached for them and placed one between her lips and lit it.

She took a long much needed drag off the cigarette, trying her hardest not to freak out because the drug had intensified everything from the way the air felt on her skin to the stronger taste of nicotine in her mouth. Then there was the sudden memory of the taste of Matt’s lips on hers. It was incredible, the way she felt with him, but she wasn’t willing to let Kylie go anywhere alone even if she was useless and she definitely was willing to stay at this kind of party alone.

She took a drag off her cigarette letting out a breath of smoke, she opened her eyes to see very clearly Marshal and Kylie chatting. Though it looked way more like Marshalls was trying to talk her back into coming inside and if Kylie went she would more than likely just sleep off whatever Matt had given her in the car, because there was no way in hell she was going back in there. She rolled her head to the side to see Tyler headed straight for Marshall and Kylie and that’s when it finally hit her and everything made really sunk in. She got out of the car quickly, the adrenaline in her system seeming to override the drugs for the moment.

“Kylie we have to go now.” She said flicking her eyes up to Tyler as a warning to her friend. He didn’t exactly look like he was in the best mood and with Gracie on something and her adrenaline working overtime for her, she might do something that would piss him off even more if he did anything else to Ky.
---
"What do you want Marshall? Tyler made it pretty fucking clear he doesn't want us here so you've got one minute and then we're leaving." Kylie said sternly as Marshall paused in front of her. He rolled his eyes, because the two of them were impossible.

“I don’t want you to leave on a bad note, Tyler isn’t right.” He said honestly. “You know that he’d never intentionally hurt you. It’s not him Kylie.” He sighed holding her eyes. “I’m not asking you to forgive him, I’m just asking you to be honest with yourself.

"Unfortunately, if I do that, she'll probably start following me around too. But I'll get her shit-faced enough she passes out and leaves you alone the rest of the night." Tyler patted him on the back as a thank you as he smirked. "I saw your brother heading out front by the way. See ya later man."

“Thanks.” Wolf called after him before he headed towards the front door. He hated that Marshall had always tried fixing his problems for him. It was completely ridiculous in all honesty. Tyler wanted to strangle him, only he was his little brother so he let most things side.

He slipped out the front door and headed straight for the two of them talking. He grabbed Marshall by his upper arm harshly and drug him away from Kylie, not even bothering to look at her because the honest truth was that he couldn’t after what he’d just done to her.

“Stay the fuck out or I won’t hesitate to kill you. You know as well as I do she’s too good for us and this life.” He hissed as he drug Marsh back towards the house.

Kylie watched Marshall roll his eyes before speaking. “I don’t want you to leave on a bad note, Tyler isn’t right.” He said and Kylie raised her eyebrows. That much was obvious, but after what he'd done, Kylie really didn't think there was any way to leave on a good note. Even if, somehow, she found a way to get over him holding a gun to her head, she'd still have a boatload of anger and resentment towards gun for leaving her in the first place.

“You know that he’d never intentionally hurt you. It’s not him Kylie.” He sighed holding her eyes and she had to look away from him because he was wrong. She'd thought he'd never hurt her, but he'd nearly just killed her. He clearly didn't care about her anymore, probably never had. “I’m not asking you to forgive him, I’m just asking you to be honest with yourself."

It sounded like he was trying. To convince her to go inside so she sighed and glanced at the ground, before Gracie in the car and then back to him. When it came to Tyler, her resolve had always been shaky. He was her weakness, and, as much as she hated him and wanted to stay away from him, she knew that there was mother part to her anger. A part of her that had been in so much pain the past year because she missed him and wanted him back.

Just as she was about to give in and go back, despite the fact that she knew Gracie really wanted out of there, the door to the house opened and Tyler started down the driveway, looking pissed. “Kylie we have to go now.” Gracie said urgently from next to her, pulling her eyes off Tyler and landing on her friend, knowing she'd been selfish for wanting to stay. Gracie needed somewhere safe to sleep off the drugs in her system. That should be her priority. The person who actually cared about her.

Tyler reached them then, and, instead of saying anything to her, he simply grabbed Marshall and took off, hissing something at him he couldn't hear. The urge to go after him and demand answers and explanations out if him was strong. That's all she'd wanted for the past year was for him to explain.

But Gracie needed her because she couldn't drive herself out of there so, after Tyler had disappeared inside the house, Kylie nodded and turned towards Gracie, kissing her forehead with a defeated, tired sigh. "You're right. We should go." She breathed and went and got back in the car, starting it up and waiting for Gracie to get in. She took one last glance at Tyler's new house before pulling out and into the road. "I didn't tell you before because I didn't want to be tempted to spend it," Kylie smirked as she drove, pulling out her wallet with one hand and tossing it down into her friend's lap. "But I stole a shit ton of money from mommy-dearest so we could get ourselves a nice-ass hotel while we're here." She grinned at her briefly, allowing the thought of a luxurious hotel to take her mind off Tyler for the moment. "Where would you like to stay, love?" She asked with a smile.

“Thanks.” Wolf called after him and Matt just shrugged in acknowledgement as he made his way towards where he'd last seen Bunny. She was still by the couch, looking lost and pathetic without Tyler and Matt rolled his eyes. He wished more than anything, he hadn't scared Gracie off because now he'd have to spend the rest of the party with Bunny. Maybe he could at least convince one of her less annoying friends to sleep with him.

Besides, at least it gave him something to do so he could get his mind off Chealsea. He called her name and she turned to face him. "Matt!" She smiled and stood off the couch. "Did you find him?" Matt nodded.

"Yeah, he's busy right now, but he asked me to keep you company so you're not lonely." He smirked, leaving out the fact that he was really there trying to keep her away from him because she was clingy and sometimes, annoying. She sighed before smiling and nodding and he looked her over. She still looked generally sober, which meant he had to give her something strong.

"Let's go find a couple of your girlfriends." He smirked. "I've got something new you girls might want to try." He said, raising a baggie of white pills and she laughed and nodded, taking his hand and leading him through the party towards where he assumed her friends were.

Tyler acted as if they weren’t even there and she was grateful for that. It seemed like no matter how hard her and Kylie tried, they just couldn’t get away from their past. It wasn’t like they were running. They’d faced the shit in their lives enough, Gracie herself had never been one to run, she was starting to think though that people who ignored their problems and ran from them had it easier then someone like her who faced her problems head on.

"You're right. We should go." she breathed and Grace sighed as Ky slipped back into the car and she followed after her friend slipping into the passenger seat. After a moment they were finally on the road. "I didn't tell you before because I didn't want to be tempted to spend it," She glanced over at her friend as she smirked before glancing to the wallet her friend had just thrown her, packed with a shit load of money. "But I stole a shit ton of money from mommy-dearest so we could get ourselves a nice-ass hotel while we're here. Where would you like to stay, love?" Grace raised a brow.

“Shit babe, your loaded.” She smirked. “I’d give anything to be there when your mom finds out how much you took.” She laughed. “This is the kind of money that will buy us a good night at the Monte Carlo.” She smirked wickedly.

The drive to the tower hotel was short and it didn’t take long for them to check in. The lady at the front desk was more than happy to take their money. They opened the door to their suite it was absolutely incredible and completely girly like it had be designed specifically for the two of the,

“Holy shit.” Gracie breath her and Kylie’s family were among the wealthiest in Apple Creek, but she’d never stayed somewhere, where the throw pillows on the couch looked like they cost more than her entire house alone. “We better make this the best fucking night of our lives, for how much we just spent on this room.” Gracie smirked. The drugs had worn off some and she felt a little better then she had earlier. In fact if she was being honest she felt good enough to go back to kissing Matt.

“Fuck you Tyler.” Marshall pushed him away. “Were better than this life to.” He glared at his brother shoving him away. “You not dad, so stop trying to be him.” Marshall spat before slipping up stairs for the night and Tyler had to admit his brother’s words hurt like hell and as badly as he wanted to get shit faced and forget what had just happened with his ex-girlfriend, he had to be sober when the boss showed up.

The party drug on forever it seemed like. He’d snorted a few lines of coke, but not enough to fuck him up and he was grateful that whatever Matt was doing with Bunny was keeping her away from him. He wasn’t sure what it was with her. He knew he didn’t love her, but he always seemed to keep her around and he was unusually better to her then he was to other girls and he wasn’t entirely sure why.

Soon enough, a few guys came in and told him that Bryan was there and ready to talk. He headed out into the garage and sure enough Bryan and Chelsea were out there, sitting on the couch casually. Tyler lit himself a cigarette as he made his way over to Bryan shaking his hand, before sitting on the couch across from him, while Bryan ordered one of his girls to get them a beer. Ty had set up a mini living room in his garage and if the boss was there, no one was allowed out there.

“How you been kid?” Bryan said, blowing out the awful smelling smoke from his cigar. “Your kill rate is incredible, I’m loving your body count.” He smirked and Tyler matched his smirk.

“You act like you haven’t seen me in years.” Tyler shrugged, leaning back making himself comfortable as he took the beer from the girl and popped it open taking a swig. “I know you didn’t come here to make small talk. What do you got for me?” he said casually.

“Shit babe, you're loaded.” Gracie said, making Kylie smirk. “I’d give anything to be there when your mom finds out how much you took.” She laughed and Kylie nodded and laughed too. Her mother was probably freaking out. She'd completely looted her safe. “This is the kind of money that will buy us a good night at the Monte Carlo.” She smirked wickedly and Kylie smirked back at her.

"Monte Carlo it is then." She grinned, changing lanes and making a turn.

The drive wasn't long and Kylie only took a minute to fix her makeup in the mirror before going in and the check-in process seemed even shorter, and before they knew it, they were in probably the most expensive room she'd ever seen. She dropped her bag and walked to the window, taking in the incredible view, allowing the moment to delay whatever emotions she knew were going to come from seeing Tyler.

“Holy shit.” Gracie breathed and Kylie nodded in agreement. “We better make this the best fucking night of our lives, for how much we just spent on this room.” Gracie smirked and Kylie pulled her eyes off the view, smirking back at her briefly before reaching for a cigarette.

The pack she had was empty though so she cursed and rolled her eyes. "Fuck." She breathed. "Unfortunately, I just ran out of cigarettes." She sighed and grabbed her wallet. "I'll be right back with more."

Kylie slipped out of the room and went down the hall, getting on the elevator, hoping she could get cigarettes somewhere nearby.

She didn't bother checking to see if the hotel had anything or taking the car, just walked, enjoying the night lights of Vegas, and it really didn't take long before she found a liquor store and bought several packs of cigarettes as well as a few bottles of liquor. She checked out quickly and headed back towards the hotel.

She had her head down, texting Gracie that she was on her way back up, when she slammed right into someone. She would have toppled over completely had he not steadied her with a firm grip on either of her arms. "Shit." She breathed as she bent to pick up the bottles that had fallen out of her bag and he smirked and bent with her. "I'm sorry, I wasn't paying attention." She explained.

She gathered the bottles back into the bag before they both stood and he held the one he was holding out to her and she got her first good look at him. He was hot. Extremely hot. In a suit that was probably worth more than all the clothes in Apple Creek. "No worries." He smirked and she took the bottle as his eyes looked her over. He had a friend with him. Equally as attractive and she had to say, she was intimidated just standing in front of the two of them. She'd never felt more small town in her life. "You having a party?" He asked, gesturing to the bottles and she just shrugged.

"Not really, just a friend and I." She could tell that had him interested, and it made her smirk, looking the two of them over. She wasn't really the type to randomly sleep with guys. Sure, she'd slept with a lot of guys since Tyler had left her, but that was different. She'd known everyone in Appe Creek since birth and the guys there were mostly immature boys. These two men were complete strangers.

However, after seeing Tyler, she wanted someone to get him out of her head. She'd figured drinking might do the trick, but she'd been getting drunk for a year and it had never really worked. Maybe if she slept with someone who knew what they were doing it'd help convince her that she didn't really love Tyler. That maybe he'd only made her feel so incredible because the only other people she'd had to compare him to were small town, idiot high school boys who were more concerned with their pick up trucks than anything else. And, failing that, at least he'd be off her mind for a few hours.

"You boys want to make it a party?" She asked with a wicked grin, knowing it was a bold question, but she'd seen the interest in their eyes when she'd told them it was just her and a friend. They would have probably asked the same question, only they'd have tried to have an entire conversation and then ease it in so that it didn't seem like they were just hitting on her. She'd skipped that and cut to it, making the man she'd run into grin as his eyes traveled her slowly.

"What's your name sweetie?" He asked with a laugh.

"Kylie, you?"

"Ashton." He answered. "Lead the way Kylie." He smirked and she grinned back and made her way towards the elevator as he followed her closely, as did his friend.

In the elevator, he stood incredibly close and took one of the bottles she'd bought, popping it open, alternating between taking drinks from it and handing it to her for a drink. The sexual tension in that small space as his eyes wandered her and she checked him out just as guiltily, was so thick you could cut it with a knife, but neither of them touched each other. It was like they were both leaving it up to the other to make the first contact.

Eventually, they reached the floor and Kylie smirked and took a drink from the bottle, leading the two of them to the room and opening the door. "Grace. Made some friends." She smirked, standing to the side to let the two of them in. Ashton purposely moved slowly as he squeezed his body past hers in the doorway, making her grin wickedly before closing the door behind the three of them.

Matt gave Bunny and a few of her friends something strong enough to make them pretty much knock them out the rest of the night, but one of the girls, he gave the same thing he'd given Gracie and they spent pretty much the rest of the night making out, drinking, and doing more drugs. He wasn't even entirely sure of her name, but he didn't care. He'd probably never see her again and she was so high at that point, he doubted that she would even remember him, if he did.

Eventually though, a friend of his came over and placed a hand on his shoulder from behind the couch, leaning down to tell him Bryan had arrived and him and Tyler were in the garage. He thanked the by before pushing the girl off him and making his way out there. If he were anyone else, Bryan would probably have someone kick his ass for interrupting a meeting, but he knew he wouldn't care since it was him. Him and Tyler were his two top guys. Whatever he said to Tyler, he wouldn't care if he heard.

So he went in the garage anyway. As he'd expected, Chelsea was there, on the couch next to Bryan, smoking a cigarette and wearing a tight red dress and heels. She had on very dark makeup as well, looking more like one of Bryan's girls than his sister and he hated that, everytime he saw her, she was looking more and more like that.

"Chels, put that cigarette out right fucking now." He said as he came in and both her and Bryan looked at him. Bryan smirked seeing him and Matt nodded at him in acknowledgement.

"Fuck off Matt." She spat at him and he rolled his eyes. He figured she'd be angry, but he didn't care. He just walked over and swiped it from her fingers, holding it in front of her.

"You have fucking lung cancer Chelsea." He rolled his eyes before flicking it away and sitting in a seat next to Tyler, across from Bryan, finally turning his attention to him. He'd get Chelsea alone later. He lit himself a cigarette, ignoring the daggers his sister was shooting him. "So what's up boss?" He asked, glancing between him and Tyler. "You got jobs for us?"

"Fuck. Unfortunately, I just ran out of cigarettes. I'll be right back with more." Kylie said pulling Grace out from her daze and she nodded as she watched her friend slip out of the room, leaving her completely alone.

She dropped her bag and made her way to the window looking out over the sparkling lights of Vegas. It was absolutely beautiful and it made her never want to go back to Apple Creek. She wanted to see the rest of the world. There was a part of her that almost wished that they’d have never found her with her mother, because at least then, she’d have lived, maybe a shitty existence, but an existence none the less.

After this summer she’d be going to some expensive college, only to study four years of he life away, graduate and then get some dead in job and be stuck for the rest of her life. It was a depressing thought, but it was the reality she’d have to face in a few months. She sighed as she made her way back over to her bag and she picked it up as well as Kylie’s and carried it to one of the bedrooms. The room had three separate bedrooms despite the fact they really only needed one.

She slipped out of her clothes, leaving her in her deep red lacy panties and matching bar as she made her way back into the main room and pulled a bottle of liquor from the mini fridge a popped it open, before turning on the TV flipping it to a Pandora radio station. She was pretty sure this hotel room had everything. She thought about giving herself a new piercing as she absentmindedly clicked her tongue ring against her teeth, before deciding against it.

"Grace. Made some friends." She heard Kylie’s voice and she already knew, just by the tone of her voice she’d brought a few guys back to the room, Gracie debated slipping back into some close but figured it was no use.

She stood up looking over the two guys, suddenly realizing who they were as she looked between the two of them. They were even more gorgeous in person however Brandon had always been her favorite of the two. She glanced to Kylie as if wonder why she was so cool about it, or maybe she really didn’t know who they were. The only reason Grace knew is because they’d been on the cover of her father’s favorite business magazine about a year or two ago.

“Shit.” She breathed. “If I’d have known you were bringing the Drake brother’s I’d have changed into something a little nicer.” She smirked, before walking over to Kylie. “You boys mind if I talk to her really quickly.” Gracie smirked before pulling Kylie out of ear shot. “Where the hell did you find them?” she asked still in shock. “You do know who they are right?” she asked

Bryan was about to fill him in, only just when he opened his mouth to speak Matt came through the door. Tyler sighed as he took a drag off his cigarette and Matt bickered with Chelsea. Tyler really hated that Chelsea was involved with Bryan and if Ty had a say in it he’d do something about it, but it was honestly between Bryan and Matt and he knew better then to step out of line and into someone else’s business completely when it came to his bosses dealings. He was simply Yes Man in his bosses dealings.

"So what's up boss? You got jobs for us?" Matt finally said speaking to the boss and Bryan raised a brow.

“Nice of you to finally join us Matty. Don’t you think Chels?” He smirked up at Matt and Tyler’s jaw clenched he knew that would get to Matt. Matt was like his brother and he knew him well. He also knew that the boss like the purposely push his buttons. Ty was convinced that one day Matt would just snap on Bryan.

Tyler however didn’t seemed phased by the tension in the room in fact, Tyler never seemed phased by anything. Looking at him from the outside he always had it together no matter what shit he was dealing with on the inside and it was a wonder he was still sane in all honesty.

“Gotta couple of guys who didn’t pay up.” Bryan said simply and Wolf leaned forward suddenly more interested. He knew what that meant, another cold blooded murder another body for his count.¬ “The Drake brothers.” Bryan smirked and Tyler raised a brow.

Tyler didn’t know much about the Drake brothers other than they were famous multimillion dollar Entrepreneurs, who spent a lot of their earned fortune on expensive weekends in Vegas, drugs, and wining and dining the most beautiful women. If they were to die, it’s make news that much was for sure, this wasn’t just another low life addict. This was touching dangerous grounds of possibly being caught if they were careful and Tyler loved the risk.

“Keep talkin’.” Tyler said lighting another cigarette and taking a long drag off it.

“I want you two to go in there, clean them out and make it look like a murder, suicide.” Bryan smirked. “You see, I found out that Brandon Drake is making less than his older brother Ashton, makes perfect sense. Brandon killed Ashton then turned the gun on himself, but not before he killed there new girlfriends.” Bryan said simply like it had already happened. “I just got conformation there with a couple of girls at the Monte Carlo. Room 1252.” He said calmly as he took a drag of his cigar. “I want them dead too.” He ordered. “No one left alive.” He said glancing between Matt and Tyler making sure they understood that he needed proof of all four dead bodies. “You two think you can handle it?”

Tyler nodded and it was a silent contract that he understood. He’d done it a million times before. He’d killed couples and prostitutes, businessmen and homeless men. It didn’t matter if Bryan ordered it, he did it no questions asked. This one would be no different. Him and Matt would just have to be more careful about not leaving behind finger prints or evidence. It wasn’t like Tyler had no heart or he got pleaser out of murdering people it wasn’t like that at all. It was the simple fact that he he’d gotten himself into this dark world and the only way out was to be killed himself and he wasn’t sure he was ready for that.
“Yeah.” He breathed.

Kylie pulled her eyes off Ashton, glancing over at Gracie, smirking when she saw that she was in nothing but her underwear with music filling the hotel room. “Shit.” She breathed, looking at the two guys like she recognized them, making her raise her eyebrows. They did look fairly familiar, but she was absolutely positive neither of them had ever been to, or even heard of, Apple Creek. Which meant they had to be famous, though how, she couldn't quite put a finger on.

“If I’d have known you were bringing the Drake brother’s I’d have changed into something a little nicer.” She smirked, and Kylie laughed. Finally it clicked. Her mother loved the world of business. Really, she loved any world with money in it, and as such, Kylie had seen the two of them on magazine covers, tv interviews, news reports and more. “You boys mind if I talk to her really quickly?" Gracie smirked, pulling her out of the way.

“Where the hell did you find them?” She asked, looking shocked and Kylie took a drink from the bottle still in her hand. “You do know who they are right?" She asked.

Kylie smirked and glanced over her shoulder at them, looking them over before turning back to her friend. "I didn't until you said their last name." She shrugged, taking another drink. "I ran into them in the hotel lobby and invited them up." She smirked. "Dibs on Ashton. He's already undressed me with his eyes at least thirty times." She laughed as she pushed the bottle she was holding into her friend's hand. "We came here to finally live." She breathed a little more seriously, even though that wasn't totally what she was doing. She was trying to get over Tyler, but she wasn't about to admit that. "That's exactly what I intend to do." She shrugged before turning away from her and heading back over to the guys.

Ashton was on the couch, and as she started to slip past him to get glasses for the liquor she'd bought, he reached out and pulled her down next to him, wrapping an arm around the back of the couch behind her, sitting so close they were practically right on top of each other. He placed a hand on her knee and slid it up a little higher, until it was sitting right at the edge of her dress. "So, Kylie, Grace, what brings you two beautiful girls to Vegas?" He asked.

Kylie smirked and dropped the bag if bottles and cigarettes onto the coffee table, popping one open before settling back into the way Ashton was encircling her, loving having his undivided attention and the way his fingers traced tiny circles on the skin of her thigh. She took a long drink before answering. "Well, I'll admit something Ashton." She smirked, handing him the bottle, watching him take a drink. "Gracie and I come from Smalltown, U.S.A." She watched him raise his eyebrows. "But we got so fucking sick of it, we took off and ended up here." She finished as he handed her the bottle back and she drank from it. She was already starting to feel a little buzz and she wasn't sure if it was the liquor or him sitting so close to her, or a mixture of both, but it effectively kept her mind away from Tyler so she liked it.

Ashton leaned in, so that his lips were right next to her ear, his grip on her thigh tightening a little as he placed one small kiss on the spot where her jaw ended. "Well I'm glad here is where you ended up." He whispered and she hadn't realized she'd been holding her breath until she went to speak.

"Me too." She said breathily and he smirked before turning her chin until they were facing each other, letting his lips linger there, centimeters from hers for a second, teasing her, before finally kissing her on the lips, softly at first, and then hard, making her moan softly as the hand he had on the back of the couch came up to wrap around her and fist her hair tightly in his hand.

When he finally pulled away she was breathless and he smirked, clearly liking the effect he'd had on her. She brought the bottle to her lips, downing the rest of it before smirking and standing, grabbing his tie, pulling him up. "Have fun Gracie." She smirked, though her eyes stayed on Ashton's before walking him backwards, into one of the bedrooms and closing the door behind them, smirking when he instantly pinned her to it and started kissing her jaw.

“Nice of you to finally join us Matty. Don’t you think Chels?” Bryan smirked, causing Matt's jaw to clench, knowing Bryan liked to push him and trying to swallow it down. Matt had a horrible temper, partially thanks to Bryan, and it was only getting worse and worse as time went on. At one point, Matt knew Bryan had him wound so tight he'd just lose it on him and it'd cost him, not only his life, but Chelsea's. Thankfully, Chelsea looked away and ignored Bryan's taunts so Matt managed to do the same.

“Gotta couple of guys who didn’t pay up.” Bryan said and Matt raised an eyebrow, glancing at Tyler who was clearly interested. “The Drake brothers.” Bryan said, surprising Matt. It wasn't uncommon that Bryan had someone important on his bad side. It was just uncommon that he wasn't them dead. Usually, it was more of a hassle than it was worth to kill someone in the public eye so Bryan simply tried to scare them into paying up, which meant that these brothers had to owe Bryan a lot of money and, if they hadn't been scared so far, they were probably pretty well protected.

“Keep talkin’.” Tyler said as he lit a cigarette.

“I want you two to go in there, clean them out and make it look like a murder, suicide.” Bryan smirked and Matt couldn't help but glance at Chelsea. She wouldn't look at him and he sighed, hating that Bryan insisted on having her there everytime they talked about business and killing people, knowing she hated him for what he did despite the fact that he only did it to keep her alive. Bryan had made it very clear to him that, if he wanted to walk away, unlike a lot of other guys, he'd let him. He wouldn't kill him. But the only reason he'd do that was because they both knew, without him, Chelsea would die and that'd be torture enough.

“You see, I found out that Brandon Drake is making less than his older brother Ashton, makes perfect sense. Brandon killed Ashton then turned the gun on himself, but not before he killed their new girlfriends.” Bryan said simply and Matt nodded. “I just got conformation they're with a couple of girls at the Monte Carlo. Room 1252.” He said calmly, clearly wanting them to waste no time and start right away. “I want them dead too. No one left alive.” He said and Matt understood. If they left the girls alive, they'd be witnesses and it'd be easy for them to tell the police who the real killers were. “You two think you can handle it?” He finally asked.

Tyler agreed and Matt sighed, glancing at Chelsea, who still wouldn't look at him, before back at Bryan. "Yeah, I can do it." He said simply before standing and looking down at Tyler. Wanting out of there and away from his sister's judgement as soon as possible. "Let's go, the sooner we do it, the better." He smirked.

"I ran into them in the hotel lobby and invited them up. Dibs on Ashton. He's already undressed me with his eyes at least thirty times." she said and Gracie glanced to Brandon and she smirked at him. "We came here to finally live. That's exactly what I intend to do." Kylie nodded.

She stayed where she was as she took a drink of the bottle Ky had handed her and kept her eyes on Brandon and he kept his eyes on her. He was incredibly handsome and she couldn’t help but bite her lip when his charming smile turned into a wicked smirk as his eyes raked over her. She’d had sex with half the boys in Apple Creek, but she’d never fucked a man. She wasn’t paying attention to Ashton and Kylie’s conversation, because she’d already started her game and she was concentrated.

"Have fun Gracie." Kylie said pulling her from her thoughts as she glanced to the two of them slipping into one of the other bedrooms. It was silent between the two of them for a moment as Grace crossed the room fluidly and grabbed the pack of cigarettes from the bag Kylie had brought back. She lit it taking a long drag before she finally spoke.

“Brandon right?” She breathed as she ran her finger’s lightly across his back. He glanced over his shoulder at her before turning to face her and she took another drag off her cigarette, coolly, like they were just friends and he wasn’t some millionaire.

“Right.” He smirked taking in every inch of her and she found it hard to keep her breathing steady. “And, if I’m not mistake. Your Gracie.” He said taking a step forward and she meant to take a step back only the back of the couch was in the way and he lend in close placing a hand on either side of her. He lend in wasting no time pressing his lips against hers and kissing her like they were the only two people alive, he kissed he like she’d never been kissed, yet in the back of her mind she still had Matt’s kiss to compare it to and she hated that.

A hand wrapped against her waist tightly, he lifted her effortlessly with one hand up on the back of the couch. She ran her hands along his shoulders as she lend into him before she slipped off his expensive suite jacket and he kissed along her jawline causing her heart to race.
---
She wasn’t sure how long they’d been at it, but sex with him had been incredible and she’d completely forgotten about Matt. They’d somehow ended up in one of the other bedrooms. She laid on his chest listening to his heart slow down. She was pretty sure she was one of the luckiest girls alive. His fingers slide up and down her bare spine casually.

“Hey babe, what do you say we leave in the morning. Wherever you want.” He said kissing the top of her head. She sat up on her elbow and there was a shocked look on her face. He let out a small laugh.

“Your serious?” she asked and he simply shrugged.

“I mean why not. Your beautiful and I like you. I’d love to get to know you.” He said honestly and she felt her heart race again. She’d never had much luck with guys and she was sure she would stick around long, she never had been able to stay in a relationship, but he wasn’t asking her to be his girlfriend, he was just asking her to travel and that could change her life. It was terrifying, but it was something she couldn’t pass up.

“What about Kylie?” she said holding his brilliant blue eyes.

“She can come to.” He smirked and she lend in and kissed him softly. He was gentle with her and she kind of liked that. She loved when things were rough, but it felt nice to have a gentle touch for once.

“Then it’s a yes.” She breathed against his lip.

Tyler knew full well that Matt didn’t enjoy his job as much as he did, Matt did it more for Chelsea’s sake then just for the money. Tyler sighed as he stood up and shook hands with the boss. It was an important job he knew that much and he knew that if they fucked it up, they’d be dead not that Ty was all that worried. Hell, even if he hadn’t told Matt to go with him he could probably do the job himself. However it was a big job and that’s why Bryan was send the two of them together instead of separately.

"Let's go, the sooner we do it, the better." Tyler nodded as the two of them headed out front and slipped into a black SUV with no license plates. Tyler pressed a button, making a sound proof glass piece slide up between the driver and the back seat granting him and Matt some privacy.

“I’ll take care of the brothers, while you keep the girls calm. Then I’ll come back for them.” Tyler shrugged. “That way you can tell Chels I did all the work and you had nothing to do with it.” Tyler smirked hoping it would take some of the stress off of him. “Besides, thoes girls are probably a couple of prostitutes and by the time we get there, they’re all going to be fucked up. It will be a piece of cake.”

After a short drive they hopped out of the car and headed inside the back of the hotel. Bryan had people working for him stashed in nearly every hotel and strip club in Las Vegas granting them private access to nearly anywhere they went and Bryan’s hook up’s were part of the reason he ran nearly every inch of sin city. They followed the guy who’d let them in, to the maintenance elevators, before he handed them a master key card. Tyler stepped into the elevator followed by Matt and it was quite as Tyler mentally prepared himself to take another human beings life, much like he had to do every time. Only this time was different because he had to be sober, to make sure the job was done properly. He lit himself a cigarette taking a long drag off it as the elevator doors opened on the floor they were meant t get off on.

Kylie's heart was pounding out of control. He handled her roughly, making her knees weak. It was the first time in way too long a guy was dominant with her and more experienced than she was. He was a powerful man and most likely dangerous, which, of course, only made her like him that much more. She'd always been attracted to danger.

He pinned her there, against the wall while he kissed her and Kylie moaned against his lips before he pulled her arms up over her head, followed by her dress, tossing it aside. She smirked as his lips started to make their way down her neck and she reached out, sliding off his jacket and loosening his tie before taking that off too. He wrapped an arm around her waist then and pushed her harder into the wall as he lifted her and she wrapped her legs around him.

He pulled her off the wall with a smirk and tossed her down on the bed, climbing quickly over her. She had time to unbutton his shirt and slide it off before he pulled her arms over her head and pinned them with one hand, his other sliding down her body, fingertips sliding along her panty line teasingly, lips centimeters from hers. "How long are you and your friend in Vegas Kylie?" He whispered and she tried to concentrate on his words, but it was extremely hard. His teasing was incredibly effective. He was driving her nuts and the good part about him was, she hadn't felt Tyler's electric touch in so long that his fingertips running along her skin had almost the same effect.

"Three days." She breathed, dying for him to get on with it.

"No you're not." He smirked as he finally pressed his lips down onto hers and slid her panties off, rubbing the inside of her thigh and pinning her even tighter. "In the morning, you're leaving with me." He said simply against her lips and it almost sounded like an order, but she didn't care, her whole body wanted him.

"Okay." She moaned softly. "Now please just fuck me already."

______

She wasn't sure how long they'd been going, but every second had been incredible. It had definitely been the best sex she'd had since Tyler had left her and it had done the job of getting him off her mind. She lay there with him as he smoked a cigarette and she drank a bottle of vodka to keep herself buzzed, trying to slow her heart rate and gather her strength for another round.

He rolled onto his side, pressing his lips against her jaw while she drank, wrapping an arm around her and pulling her body close to his while his lips made their way across her skin, causing her to close her eyes and tilt her head for more. "Where do you want to go babe?" He whispered as he kissed her skin and she sighed.

"Why do you want me?" She asked. "You're a rich, powerful man, you could have anyone in the world, and yet, you pick a girl from a town with a population less than that in this fucking hotel?" She raised a brow. "Seems a little too good to be true." She breathed.

He shrugged as he continued to kiss her and she continued to drink. "I'm also an impulsive man. When I see something I want, I have to have it, and I want you." He smirked against her skin. "I think it'd be interesting to show you the world. There's a lot out there I'll bet you've never seen or done and I can't help but want to be the one who shows them to you."

With that, Kylie finally gave in. It was somewhat terrifying, but incredibly exciting at the same time and she knew, somehow that, after a little while, he could make her forget Tyler altogether and that was all she wanted. To forget that she loved him but he didn't love her. That he'd nearly killed her.

She smirked and rolled over on top of him, kissing down his neck and chest. "All right, I'll go with you." She breathed against his skin as she set the nearly empty vodka bottle aside, ready to go another round, fully intending to fuck until the sun came up, she couldn't breathe, and most importantly, Tyler was nothing but a name to her.

Matt was glad Tyler didn't waste time and they both headed out front to one of Bryan's cars, sitting in the back seat. Tyler rolled up a glass pane that separated them from the driver so they could talk and he glanced at his friend, figuring he'd already come up with some plan.

“I’ll take care of the brothers, while you keep the girls calm. Then I’ll come back for them.” Tyler said, opting to do all the dirty work, making him raise his eyebrows. “That way you can tell Chels I did all the work and you had nothing to do with it.” Tyler smirked and Matt smirked back. It'd help a little to tell Chelsea he hadn't killed anyone, he knew that, but it wouldn't completely get him in the clear. He knew she was still pissed that he'd taken off a few days ago with no explanation, but he was extremely thankful for the offer and he was going to take it. He was good at killing people and he was pretty numb to it at that point too. But that didn't mean he enjoyed it, so he was willing to avoid it if he could.

“Besides, thoes girls are probably a couple of prostitutes and by the time we get there, they’re all going to be fucked up. It will be a piece of cake.” He said and Matt nodded in agreement. As long as he could keep the girls from screaming, it really shouldn't be too hard and a good threat and a flash of his gun would easily shut them up. It was tricky, just because the cops would be all over it, but that didn't make it hard, and certainly not impossible.

It wasn't too long of a drive from Tyler's to the hotel, and once they got there, they were let in the back by someone who was, no-doubt, associated with Bryan. They were shown to an elevator and given a master key that almost made things too easy, eliminating pretty much the hardest part of finding a way into the room. In the elevator, it was silent and Matt didn't make a move to break it. He knew both of them were mentally preparing themselves for what was going to happen.

The ride up was short, and it wasn't long before the doors opened and Matt smirked, holding up the room key. "1252." He said simply before heading down the hall, finding the room and giving Tyler one last glance before sliding the key and quietly slipping inside.

Gracie smirked against his lips as his rough hands moved freely over her naked body. The thought of leaving with him was both frightening and exciting. She didn’t know this guy, he could want to kill her for all she knew but she really didn’t give a shit. He was intoxicating in all the ways Matt hadn’t been just hours before. He was mysterious, dangerous, and powerful everything she tended to be attracted to and she knew deep down that he probably had a temper and when he found out she was only playing games with her, he’d hurt her. However none of that seemed to matter as her lips traced his jawline seductively. She wanted to leave with him now.

“I need booze.” She whispered against his lips “And a cigarette.” She said pressing his lips against hers one more time before she slipped her bra and under ware back on, before slipping out of the bedroom and into the main area.

She made her way over to the mini bar taking the one of the bottles that was only half full and taking and swig from the bottle when she heard the door open and she froze. It was Ashton or Kylie it had to be. She didn’t hear the door close she’d only heard it open and it was eerily silent.

“Ky? Ashton?” Gracie called out and all of a sudden she had a really bad feeling that it was neither of them. She watched the main entrance before hearing a few whispers. “Shit.” She breathed suddenly realizing there were other people in that room that weren’t supposed to be there. She stood their frozen not exactly sure if she could or should move.

Eventually the whispered had stopped and she’d convinced herself that she was haring things and just being a freak because her father had taught her to be paranoid. For her own conscience though, she made her way to the hotel door only before she reached it someone grabbed her roughly and pinned her against the wall, roughly and her breath was sucked straight from her lungs as she meet Tyler’s eyes and his hand muffled her attempt at a scream that had gotten caught in her throat and only came out as a soft whimper that was easily lost in the large hotel room.

When the doors of the elevator opened up, Tyler was a completely different person in a different mindset. Tyler from an hour ago and business Tyler were both dangerous though they were brutally different and dangerous in different ways. "1252." Matt said and Tyler glanced to him with a wicked smirk as he followed him out of the elevator and down the hall.

They were stealthy as they walked down the long hallways before pausing in front of the door and Tyler pulled out his pistol, complete with a silencer so no one would hear the gun shots. He watched as Matt slide the key in and everything seem to slow down, he could hear his heartbeat in his ears loud and clear and his blood was pumping, his heart raced, yet still somehow he looked so calm.

They slipped inside the room silently the only real thing giving them away was the door clicking open, but it was unlikely anyone had heard that over the soft hum of music that seemed to feel the hotel room. They were standing in the entry way of the room and Tyler was about to take the lead when someone spoke.

“Ky? Ashton?” the voice was eerily familiar, he knew who it was and his heart dropped the moment he’d heard the voice and that name.

“No fucking way.” He breathed and for the first time in forever, he wasn’t exactly sure he’d be able to keep it together for this. He glanced to Matt, he knew Matt probably wouldn’t catch on as quickly as he had. “The girls.” He breathed holding his friends eyes. “It’s Kylie and Gracie.” He shook his head like he couldn’t believe out of all the shitty hands he’d been dealt in his entire life, this one had to be the worst. He’d take watching his mother being murder by his own father a hundred times over to having to kill Kylie and Gracie.

Before he really had a chance to think any more about it, he forced his emotions back as Gracie rounded the corner. He grabbed her with the same force and roughness as he’d grabbed Kylie earlier that night and practically threw Gracie against the wall, in a second his hand was over her mouth and he had her pinned tightly against the wall. He hadn’t missed the small whimper that escaped her lips and the terrified look in her eyes. It was a job though and he couldn’t let his emotions get the best of them and so he pretended he didn’t know her as he tossed her carelessly to Matt.

“I’ll be back with the other one in a minuet.” He smirked wickedly. “Don’t let her sweet talk you Matty. She’s not as innocent as she looks.” He said cruelly almost accusingly, yet it was more of a warning to Matt, to loose whatever empathy he had for her.

He quickly made his way through the bedrooms, kicking the door down. His jaw clenched so tight he was surprised he hadn’t fractured his jaw or broken teeth when his eyes landed on Kylie naked with Ashton, but yet again he pushed his personal emotions down and held the gun up. He moved quickly ripping Kylie up from the bed by her hair and tossing her down on the floor next to her clothes.

“Get dressed.” He ordered. “Or he’s dead.” He said simply. “Didn’t pay up Ash.” Tyler smirked “So they sent the wolf in.” he said darkly. “Don’t try anything baby doll or I won’t bother giving you a chance to beg for your life.” He spat at Kylie as if she was worthless.

Kylie was on top of Ashton when the door suddenly flew open with a loud crash and she only had a second to glance over her shoulder and see that it was Tyler, gun in his hand. He moved faster than she could think, so before she'd even registered what was going on, he had a hand in her hair and tore her roughly from the bed, causing her to cry out in pain before he threw her on the floor next to her clothes.

“Get dressed.” He ordered and her whole body was suddenly trembling. He'd been scary earlier, at his house, but this was different, this was absolutely terrifying. “Or he’s dead.” He said simply and she glanced at Ashton before back at Tyler and his gun before finally kicking it in gear and slipping her bra and her dress back on quickly, fumbling with her bra clasp a minute because her hands were shaking so bad.

What the fuck was Tyler doing there? She knew there was no way he was there for her. He'd made it clear he hadn't wanted her. He had to be there to kill Ashton, and she wasn't sure why, but it didn't matter. All she knew was she was sick and tired of her luck. The second she'd managed to forget about Tyler, he'd come barreling right back in. It was like fate, or god, or whoever was controlling her luck was trying to torture her.

“Didn’t pay up Ash.” Tyler smirked at Ashton. "So they sent the Wolf in.” He said darkly as Kylie watched, not moving from her spot on the floor, knowing if she did, he'd shoot her. She wasn't sure who he was anymore, or what had changed him so drastically, but she had no doubts that this new Tyler would kill her. She could see it in his eyes when he turned to look at her. “Don’t try anything baby doll or I won’t bother giving you a chance to beg for your life.” He spat at her like she meant nothing and she looked away and winced.

She stood slowly, backing up against the wall to put as much distance as possible between them before she finally glanced at him. There were questions she wanted to ask him and things she wanted to say to him, but she couldn't get them to come out. Half of them were angry and would only piss him off more, the other half, he wouldn't care to hear. "Are you going to kill me?" Was what she finally breathed as her eyes left his and landed on the gun in his hand, hating that she sounded, and probably looked, so afraid, knowing that that was probably exactly what he wanted.

They slipped inside utterly silently, the music in the room covering the sound of the door opening and closing softly. Or at least that's what he'd assumed. In reality, someone had heard them, because, a second later, he heard a voice. “Ky? Ashton?” The voice was familiar, and it confused him, but he couldn't place it.

“No fucking way.” Tyler breathed next to him, clearly recognizing the voice as well and he glanced at him, looking shocked and, for a moment, like he'd slipped. The voice had shaken him enough that he'd dropped the person he'd mentally forced himself to become on the way up in the elevator. “The girls.” He breathed holding his eyes. “It’s Kylie and Gracie.” He said, shaking his head, and suddenly the voice clicked. It was Gracie's voice. Fuck. He liked her and now he was going to have to kill her, or watch Tyler do it.

Before he'd even had time to be upset though, Tyler had snapped back and grabbed Gracie just as she rounded the corner, throwing her roughly into the wall, suppressing her scream before tossing her to him and he caught her, quickly slapping a hand over her mouth. “I’ll be back with the other one in a minute.” He smirked wickedly and Matt nodded. “Don’t let her sweet talk you Matty. She’s not as innocent as she looks.” He said cruelly before leaving and a second later, there was a crash and then the sound of a girl crying out in pain.

Matt suppressed a bitter sigh and grabbed both Gracie's arms, yanking them behind her back with one hand, keeping the other over her mouth as he walked her to the couch and tossed her down, pulling out his gun. He held it out, inches from her head. "Scream or make any stupid moves and I'll shoot." He said simply, like he didn't give a shit about her when, in reality, he really didn't want to kill her. He knew too much about her and what he knew made him like her, but he couldn't fuck up. He had orders that, if he didn't follow, had horrible consequences.

He yanked her arms roughly behind her back and she let out a pained noise. She couldn’t help the tears that were streaming down her face. He pulled her into the living room and tossed her down on the couch, pulling out his gun and pointing it at her. She held his eyes, keeping quite as tears fell down her cheeks. She wasn’t stupid, she’d put it together almost the instant she’d looked into Tyler’s eyes. They were there to kill the Drake brothers and Gracie and Kylie just happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time.

"Scream or make any stupid moves and I'll shoot." he spat and she wiped her tears, glaring at him. She wanted to push him and taunted him, she almost really wanted to see if he’d shoot her. She was stubborn as hell and it was probably a bad idea but she couldn’t help it.

“Then stop talking and do it asshole. Don’t make empty threats.” She spat, tears still streaming down her face, but they were more anger now. “You’re going to kill me anyways.” She shrugged. “Fuck you Matt.” She breathed. “By the way, your missing Brandon.” She rolled her eyes.

He watched the stages of terror that ran through Kylie out of the corner of his eyes. He wished he could change everything. Suddenly he wished he’d been strong enough to tell Gracie’s father and Kylie’s mother to fuck off and he wished he’d have stayed or at this point he honestly wished they’d never meet. He knew how bad his pain was, but hers had to be a million times worse, because she had no clue. All she knew was he’d left without so much as a goodbye and that had to hurt worse then what she he’d dealt with over the past year. Now, he was going to have to kill her there was no other way out of it.

Finally she slipped into her clothes and created distance between them and that’s we he snapped back into the Tyler he was expected to be. "Are you going to kill me?" the silence in the room was finally broken and Tyler thought about her question. He could lie to her, but he’d never been very good at lying to her.

“Yeah babe.” He said honestly and there was a slight hint of remorse in his voice, that he knew only Kylie would catch. He flicked his eyes back to Ashton with a wicked smirk on his lips, gun pointed straight at the older man, his hands up and Tyler knew what was coming and Ashton opened his mouth to speak.

“Listen, if you just drive me to an ATM, I’ll get you, your money alright.” Ashton breathed and Tyler could see the fear in his eyes. Sure Ashton and Brandon were both extremely powerful and by association with Bryan they were extremely dangerous, but that didn’t matter when they were caught unarmed and Wolf was the on pointing the gun at you. People talked about Tyler his reputation was dark and violet.

“Sure you will.” Tyler shrugged. “But, you’ve had six months to do that. If it was so simple you’d have done it six months ago.” Tyler said holding the man’s eyes. “Now look what you addictions have bought. You’ve got these innocent girls blood on your hands and you’re going straight to hell.” Tyler said before firing a shot, the only noise though was a pained groan from Ashton. But the shot wasn’t meant to kill Ashton, not yet. It was just meant to injure him so he couldn’t try anything and the shot had been perfect. Tyler grabbed Kylie then roughly as the two slipped out of the room together. He drug her to the couch and tossed her down next to Gracie.

“I’m going to finish off Ashton.” Tyler said glancing to Matt, before glancing back to the girls with a sigh.
