Name: Marc "Fritz" Heimer
Alias: “Herr Oberst”, “Mr. Fritz”
Age: 35
Personality:
Marc is cold and calculating. Experience has told him to look three steps ahead of his opponents and “You can’t make an omelette without breaking a few eggs.” The death of a few dozen humans won't bother him much, though he realizes that lives were never given to be thrown away without having accomplished a goal (in his case, the goal of silencing the supernatural).
In human society, if it wasn't due to his work at Interpol, he'd be seen as a professional stalker. He evaluates his target in every aspect, from social life to environmental preferences to fashion taste as he believes Sun Tzu's quote "Know yourself and your enemy, and you shan't suffer defeat." An idea which he takes strongly to heart.
He is well aware of the human disadvantages against Vampires and werewolves and avoids direct contact with his opponents, instead he prefers to be the one giving the killing blow and ending wild chases. Though whenever he gets the chance to turn werewolves against vampires he takes it, allowing the two mighty races to clash, unaware that it was he who started the feud between them, and then killing off the victors when they are the weakest.
Weapon: Twin pistols with silencers.
Opinion on vampires: “Tie them to a stake and let them see the sun. They should see the ‘bright’ side of life.”
Opinion on werewolves: “We put rapid dogs to ‘sleep’…Are they any different?”
Quotes:
“You’re suicidal when you don’t expect to survive your own actions. You’re insane when you expect otherwise.”
“What a lovely set of teeth, seen the dentist lately?”
“Vampires and werewolves are both lepers. Only curable with fire!”
Bio:
Officially, Marc became a German policeman at 23 and after 6 months of service his eye was stabbed by a gang member, scarring his face and blinding his left eye. Due to the loss of his eye he was unqualified to continue working as a police officer and applied for Interpol where he was hired as a file keeper and has worked ever since.
Of course, this the official background of Marc’s profile, but in reality he’s been working as an undercover agent of the Vatican City’s top secret agency, specialized against the supernatural. In the medieval times they were referred to as witch hunter, paladin, templar, or even inquisitor. The ‘boy’ who robbed Marc of his eye was a vampire, and Marc has taken it as a sign from God that he is to think ahead of his enemies, and thus he has taken the cruel approach of using psychological warfare against his enemies.
By human standards, he is cruel against Vampires and werewolves alike, but amongst his fellow templar he could be considered for mildly merciful. Some have been rumoured to torture their captured enemies till death, though Marc doesn’t wish to waste such petty time of personal pleasure. The knowledge that they suffered is enough for him.
He uses his position within Interpol to locate and gather information about his targets (whenever he can), and then uses the local law enforcers to herd them into carefully planned traps where he ends the chase with a single blow.
