"I know just the place," Metis assured them as they piled into the car, hitting the gas. "We can figure Firis out later, let's get you all to the charging station." He had an apartment now, one in the city for when he wasn't working his military job. It wasn't as fancy as Callisto's apartment, but it was a home and it was safe. "It's kind of small, but feel free to charge up." He offered, opening the door. Jace was carrying Firis now, able to list her easily. "I think we have to have Grover look at her, once she surrenders of course." They needed to lay down some laws, even if the government was making money from it, the world needed to be aware of what it was that was happening and who the people were behind androids.

Callisto too, decided a charging would do her good. Xane was in high spirits, not having fought, danced, or really added to the fight. "I'll make you all something to eat," Metis offered as the androids all plugged in, heading to the kitchen. Xane followed him, no doubt finding this another opportunity to learn. A household unit that couldn't cook was no household unit, after all. "I'm glad plan number one worked, I have to think of a plan number 2, unless someone else has any ideas?" Callisto couldn't be the only one to make plans of course. She was glad that her whole family was here, even if it was to possibly plan the demise of their creator and her savior. "I have some bad news," Jace reported, her tone grim.

"We're all unable to hurt Grover, it's in our core program." Callisto's shoulders slumped, not that she could truly take part in taking the Doctor hostage in the first place, considering she wasn't strong enough to do much but make threats and perhaps help tie someone up. "Firis doesn't have that in her, neither do all of the androids that were frozen." Although no doubt by now, the authorities were rounding them up and returning them to GENOS for testing to see what had happened and where they had gone wrong. Grover would have dozens more androids underneath her thumb, these ones without human bodies.

Once it was confirmed by the local military forces - who were quite useless in eliminating Viren because they couldn't get close enough to do damage - that Viren and the android Uprising was no longer an issue, those in hiding in the woods outside the GENOS Labs were allowed back into their homes, trying to rebuild their lives. So far the death coll counted three hundred, while there were almost a thousand missing thanks to the Uprising's attempt to destroy humanity. "Genocidal assholes!" A moustached man with a bad toupee snapped at the news anchor. "Trying to kill us all, they're disgusting! Androids were a mistake!" The common sentiment went along those lines. Where once people were willing to accept an android into their home, now they were afraid. They did not want murder machines that hated humanity in their homes.

Already people were crying out for Dr. Grover's arrest. "Not only was Dr. Grover unable to reign in her androids to stop this disaster, she was also unable to control the Game Master when he infected all the androids with a terrible virus." The news anchor said, eyes wide and passionate. "Clearly, Dr. Grover has no respect for life and sanctity and only wishes to continue her terrible research. Androids should all be dismantled! Please, everyone, call your Governors today, write them letters, we can never let a tragedy like this happen again." They all thought they would be safe from the androids, they did not know that they were going to rise up against them. "Thank you, military, for saving us." The final comments on the news show were. "If it wasn't for you heroes, the attacks would never have stopped."

Io kicked the wall. Is that what counted as news these days? They put in all the work and the credit was stolen from them just like that? Androids were being at risk of being criminalized, just for the fact that they were androids meant they wouldn't be allowed to live if this legislation went through. "What can we do?" Io asked, wringing her hands. Was there even anything? "Violence can't be the answer." Jarvis was level headed as always. "More violence will just make the world hate us even more." But how could they possible attain the ideal of coexistence? Thanks to Viren, peace and happiness was farther away than ever before.

Port Viridi Island had never been so war torn before. Callisto watched as the news made reports from all over, the people in a state of unrest as they came out of the woodwork, returning to their homes, their jobs, and their lives. Three hundred dead, thousands still reported to be missing. "It's thanks to us, but they're claiming the military protected them." She huffed, crossing her arms. Conspiracy theories were already hard at work on the international web. Why had Callisto stopped her live stream the moment Viren had died? Was there a connection between them? She had made another video to show them that she was still alright, doing it outside of the apartment so that no one could trace her connection back to Metis or his home. She attempted to encourage positive relations in newest video.

But even her attempts were foiled by humans spewing hate in the comments section. "Never read the comments," Jace said, forcing the holo pad out of her hands as Io kicked the holo screen television in frustration. They were practically criminals, if the news was to be believed, just for existing. It didn't seem fair that they would have to suffer because of what one android did. "Maybe we're looking at this all wrong," Callisto murmured, rising to her feet. "Maybe we shouldn't attack Grover, but compromise with her?" She was in no position to turn them down considering how little people thought of her at the moment. With the general state of unrest came other side effects, like the humans calling for the death of all androids, the arrest of their creator, and the shutdown of the program.

If it came down to that, all androids would be returned to their human bodies, if they still had ones. Callisto would be trapped in a frozen, vegetative state, not to mention those who had no human bodies would cease to exist altogether. Minnie, Firis, Io, and so many others would be lost. "They're going to kill us if we don't do something," she whispered, wondering if there would still be a public outcry if they knew what shutting them down meant. Orphans on the streets, children who had nowhere to go would be homeless, running amok in the city. Callisto would be trapped in a hospital somewhere for the rest of her life, until someone unplugged her or tripped over the wire. Gone would be the days of Cali, living a life of freedom and relative happiness.

"Obviously." Minnie said with a patient smile as they all gathered, trying to come up with a strategy on how to move forward. Viren and his violent outburst was over, but the hardest part was yet to come. What could they do? Io was never smart, she wasn't going to be able to come up with something. "Obviously we can't let them shut down the program. There's still a lot I want to do." Even Xane's usual chipper self wasn't here today, they all knew how grave the situation had gotten. "We can't die yet." The angel said. "We have the right to live like everyone else." But at what cost? It was one thing to talk about everyone having the right to live, it was another to expect people to think androids could be peaceful after what they just saw.

"All the public knows is that the three laws of robotics won't protect them anymore." Black Jack was wearing his mask again because he was once again feeling the doom and gloom of everything bearing down on them. "Why would they want to coexist? They can't trust that it won't happen again. It's too big of a risk." But they couldn't just go live somewhere else either, the humans would always go after them out of fear. "They're just stupid. Callisto's too nice to hurt a fly!" Io muttered, despite the fact that Callitso was the mastermind behind Viren's death in the end. Violence wasn't going to work, but with how Dr. Grover was likely going to see a life of prison if things didn't change, perhaps the Doctor would be willing to listen.

There was a lot to do to fix things and they had to do it without hurting anyone this time if they wanted to prove that they just wanted peace. "Let's talk to Grover." Xane suggested, twiddling his thumbs weakly. "M-maybe she'll listen?" Xane was innocent, he didn't know the evil of Grover yet. But did they really have a choice? "Knowing Grover, she'll use the extracted androids from Viren's army to attack and make her own land." Jarvis clearly did not approve of that strategy. "I think the first step should be to talk her down."

Io had a very stupid idea. Knowing Grover, there was no way an idea like that would work. "What if we all sang a song of peace and cooperation to her? She likes Idols, that's why she made Cali and Lita, right?" There was no way in the world a heartless woman like Grover would be swayed by music, right?

Callisto's eyes brightened at the idea of it. "That could work!" She chirped, wondering if writing a song might actually help the position they had been put in. "I don't know," Jace rolled her shoulder as she spoke, taking a seat across from them. "Grover didn't make idol units because she likes songs, she made an idol unit because she was paid to. She's money motivated, her intentions weren't exactly pure of heart." Singing a song might only aggravate the situation, especially if it got in the way of the authorities work. "I think we should just cooperate with the police, they'll be less likely to be hostile towards us if they realize we're real people." Black Jack put in, agreeing that singing a song would do more harm than good.

"Then maybe we can sneak in?" Callisto suggested, "Or do something... do something to show the world that there are still good androids!" What could they do? Callisto had no idea, but she knew that if they just sat around, continuing to do nothing, then it wouldn't do anyone any good. They could all wake up in their real bodies, unplugged, if they didn't rise to the call. The problem was, what was the call? Callisto bit down on her lip in thought, wondering if there was anything they could do. Holding a concert wouldn't help, not when the world already hated them. They needed to prove that they were the good guys. "I'm going out for a little," Metis rose from the kitchen table, "We're running low on food, I'm gonna make a run." None of them could go, not if they didn't want to be attacked in the streets.

"Things are being blown out of proportion. Not all androids are bad! We just need to find a way to prove it!" What if they turned in Grover themselves? Or made a deal with her to surrender in return to continue running Hymnos and the servers? No doubt the world would be up in arms when they really found out what was behind their service units, combat androids, police agents, and others. Children and teenagers, dozens of them, all unsuspecting, unaware of who they really were. Perhaps turning Grover in wouldn't be such a bad thing, considering what she had done to everyone thus far.

Black Jack almost made a disgusted sound at the idea of having to perform in song and dance. It was a thing for idols, not for someone like him. He almost didn't understand at all why Io was making this idea. Not all of the others agreed either - Grover wasn't exactly the sentimental type. There might be a way to appeal to her better nature, but song and dance and hopes and dreams was not the way to reach her. They had to solve this without violence, but would it even be possible? "Whatever we do, you all should stay safe." Metis said firmly, before he went out for the food run. "Grover might not repair you anymore, so if you get hurt, that's it." While before they could very much act recklessly because Grover would always repair them - now they didn't have that insurance anymore.

"Jarvis." Io looked at him, feeling angry at him for a reason she didn't know or remember. It probably didn't matter to her anyways, it wasn't like she was the old Io Callisto and Metis and Minnie all wanted to see again. She was herself - and she was glad that despite the disappointment, that they still accepted her. "Can you use the materials you got to make me my right size again?" Even if they couldn't restore her storage of eight railguns, at least if she was bigger she'd be more useful in a fight. "I can try." Jarvis said, scratching his head. "But I'm not entirely sure I have enough to put you back in order." He looked at the stuff he had - it wasn't much, but it was something.

Firis shook her head, frowning. "I don't think we should try to revert you until after this is over." The bluenette stressed. It was dangerous, anything could go wrong. Callisto had the idea of sneaking but that would rely primarily on Black Jack and Io, would they really be able to do it safely? "The problem is..." Minnie was quiet, thoughtful. "What would be enough proof? How can we regain their trust?" Trust was an odd thing - once you lost it, it was very hard to get back. Would turning in Grover be enough? Io didn't know. "It might not be a bad start." If they could take Grover in and allow the humans to give her a fair trial, maybe that would be a show of respect for human laws.

They could turn in Grover, sure, but the problem was, who would watch over the androids? "Is there anyone that can replace her?" Callisto asked softly. Viren had known how to make androids, how to repair them too, but he was dead and soon, Grover might be gone as well. The thought of returning to her true body scared her, being trapped in a vegetative state, knowing nothing but pain, that was the last thing Callisto wanted to come to pass. She wanted to prevent that at all costs and she was certain that the others did as well. Sure, Black Jack would be alright if he and Jace returned to their bodies, but it wasn't as simple as that for everyone. Many of them had been asleep for so long, they may have forgotten how to walk, talk, or eat.

"I'm scared," Callisto hugged her knees as Metis left. "If we sit around doing nothing, we won't change anything, but if we try to change something and the humans don't like it, they'll shut us down for good." They would be arrested on sight, the way that things were going. "I won't let them take you from me," Jace assured her, "they'll have to pry you out of my cold, dead hands." Callisto didn't want them to take Jace up on that. She didn't want anyone to have to fight anymore either, but that wasn't an option, not now. If only she could go back in time and return everything to the way it had been, but then again, she would have never met Jace if she had died in that hospital. She would have never met any of them, if she had died.

"Whatever we chose, Callisto and Xane stay back with Metits. They'll only get in the way," Callisto opened her mouth, then snapped it shut. As much as she hated to admit it, Jace was right. Callisto would only get in the way of this operation,, unless they still wanted someone to sing or dislocate themselves on command. "Right now, the only two of us that can actually hurt humans are Firis and Fina," who weren't connected to Hymnos.

Grover was currently retrofitting the retrieved androids from Viren's carrier ship into an army, an army strong enough to fight off the humans trying to get in her way. She sat with Hymnos, glasses pushed up to her eyes, ready. "Do they really think they can stop me?" She almost cackled to herself. "I didn't expect things to go this way, Hymnos, but I don't mind. No one will get in my way." Hymnos flinched and nodded, trying to remain firm for her Master. "Y-yes." The administrative unit nodded, wiping her hands on herself. Grover gave her a look, more gentle with her than with other androids. "Are you alright?" The Doctor asked her most loyal android and Hymnos shook her head, looking away.

"It's just lonely in here now." She admitted, pointing to her head, to all the cables that connected her to the server. "So many are gone now thanks to what Viren did. It was my fault." She teared up, looking down. As the administrative unit, Hymnos's job was to make everyone happy, everyone connected to her nexus. She was given the power to mess with the memories of anyone connected to her system to help them become happy. She could take their memories away, give them new ones, change them, whatever she pleased. But no matter what, she would retain their memories safely stored within herself. She would cherish them and never lose them. "Don't blame yourself." Grover brushed her hair before getting back to work. "You did the best you could."

Hymnos flinched as one by one the the new androids woke up. She recognized each one, she remembered having them pushed through her network the first time to birth the android personalities. Lita and Fina were still safely within her, their files kept in storage like every other. "I remember them." Hymnos sounded mournful. "I remember hoping I could help them reach happiness." But in the end, Viren broke free of her control and began to forge his own path. He met his end, pitiful and alone. "Callisto's team is going to go against us." The admin reported to her Master. "Should I stop them?"

"Shut some of them down." Grover instructed. "Put Jace and Black Jack into indefinite suspension. They won't be able to awaken again until you release the block on their signals." Hymnos nodded, doing just that. For the time being the siblings would awaken back again in their tubes, unable to cause a wrench in their plans. Hymnos made a mental apology to those two and shut them down with the admin code.

Jace was mid sentence when she suddenly fell over, crumpling in her seat. "Jace?" Callisto inquired, her eyes widening. "Jace, what's wrong?" The combat unit did not rouse from sleep, she wasn't even snoring. Her systems lights were all shut off as well. "I'll check," Jarvis offered, moving Jace over to glance at her neck. "She's been shut off, her interfacing system is down." He checked Black Jack next, who was also shut off. "Grover must have done it, she must be using Hymnos to spy on us." Which meant that she would know if they were going to act against her. "What if she shuts us down next?" Callisto asked Jarvis worriedly. She didn't want to return to her body, which would be useless in a situation like this. She was useless anyhow, but at least now she could communicate and see.

Io and Firis didn't have to worry, they were no longer connected to Hymnos and did not rely on Grover to run their programs. "Io, I'm scared." Callisto admitted, her hands shaking as she rose. She placed a blanket around Jace's shoulders, uncertain if the android could feel the cold. Perhaps that was just Callisto's terror creeping up her spine? "What are we going to do?" Metis returned with an arm full of groceries. He placed them on the table before coming over to evaluate their new situation. "At this point, I think if they find out you're all here, I'm going to be discharged from the service." It was meant to be a joke of course, but his tone made it sound as though he were serious. Callisto was stressing herself out over this new predicament.

"What if she shuts all of the servers down outside of the ones she can control? What if she orders us all back there?" Callisto asked, biting down on her thumb. "What if she sends her android army for us?" They would be helpless, or at least, Callisto would be. No doubt the others would come out alright, what with their being able to fight and all. "Metis, you shouldn't get involved. This is between an android and their creator." Metis shook his head, "I think I'm already in too deep. Besides, you two are my sisters, I'm not going to abandon you now." He insisted despite Callisto's arguing.

Just like that, both Black Jack and Jace shut down. Io's eyes widened as they slumped over, Callisto being the first to panic! "There's nothing we can do." Jarvis admitted, even the very intelligent system was at a loss. "If Grover can just use Hymnos to shut us down there really isn't anything we can do." She held all the power - to the androids, she was their creator. More than that - she was almost like their Goddess. How could the peons of the goddess rise in rebellion against her? "There has to be something." Metis closed his eyes as he racked his brain, trying to think of a plan. He was a soldier, not a thinker, but he could try his best to think as well. "I'm not letting her force you back into your old body, Cali."

Xane pointed at Firis and Io then. "Those two aren't connected to Hymnos." He said curiously, tilting his head. "I just checked, I can't find them in the registry." Callisto repeated it, saying the same. That's right - she and Firis weren't going to get shut down. Did that mean it all would rely on them? Firis shut off the television, looking back at them. "Apparently the humans are getting more insistent. The police has come and they're trying to cut through the wall protecting the GENOS Labs to take Grover under arrest." They had no time left, all they could do was act. "Alright, no time to waste." Io stood up, brushing off her butt that had been sitting on the couch for too long.

"Me and Firis are going to go to the GENOs Labs. Metis, stay here, you're the best one to protect the rest here." He was strong, not even a few androids could take him down. Firis hopped up quickly, blue mane swishing as she did so. "Cali, you're the smartest one here." Io took her hand tenderly, faith in her eyes. "It's up to you when we get there. What do we do?" They could save Grover and bring her here, they could assist in the arrest and take her down, they would follow Callisto's lead whatever it may be. "You'll have five minutes to decide. I know you'll come to the right answer." Firis opened the door, jet wings spread, she knelt so Io could climb up as Io couldn't fly in her child form. She activated her stealth and the two lovers flew out into the wind.

Why? Why was this up to her? Callisto bit down on her lip nervously as the two of them went out the door. "I believe in you Io!" Callisto called to her older, but smaller twin. "You can do this!" She watched them jet out, her knees feeling weak, even though they were stronger than ever. "I believe in you too!" Xane called as they left, the door closing behind them. Callisto had five minutes to decide the fate of all androids. If they saved Grover and brought her here, they too, would be fugitives. Her moral compass was guiding her away from that option, insisting that thy stay on a path that could be walked on confident feet and steady legs. No, they had to take Grover down, she had become too big for britches. She was their creator though, she had given Callisto a new body. How could she betray her like that?

What if there was a third option? Callisto paced as she thought about what it might to take to get Grover to agree to it. "We can't take her down, not if we don't want to be brought down on top of her." Callisto said aloud, Xane nodding his head in agreement. His body too, was no longer viable to live in. "There has to be an option that won't put everyone in danger," Metis agreed, standing guard at the door with his gun. He had moved Jace and Black Jack to another room so that their android bodies would be ready for when they returned, if they did return. "I've got it!" Callisto turned towards Metis, surely their five minutes was nearly up?

"What if we can convince Grover to turn herself in on a conditional arrest?" His eyebrows raised. "Do you have something in mind?" She nodded, explaining the plan to Metis, who would relay it all to his Commander. They would arrest Grover under the terms that she could continue running the servers, so long as she cooperated with the military's terms. "A conditional surrender means that we still get to be androids, but she'll have the military operating over her to make sure nothing like this can happen again." That way, they could have a vote of confidence from the citizens of Port Viridi Island.

The message came to them just as the two made it above the GENOS Labs, ready to finish the fight once and for all. Callisto's order was to convince Grover to accept a conditional surrender. If she could be put under the military's supervision she'd be able to continue her work - just not to do evil as she did so. "Gotcha." Io knew her sister would be able to think of something. She was the genius after all, that was what the faint echoes of memories told her. She would never regain her memories fully, but sometimes a small hint would float in and out. The real Io was gone forever, but this one would live happy in her place where she might not be able to. "How do we do this?" Firis asked, the area was under careful supervision. Not to mention, people were banging on the fence, trying to break in.

"Obviously." Io giggled. "We do it with a bang." Firis sighed, shaking her head helplessly. "Fine, we'll do it your way, love. Let's get it done." Firis made her hand into a big fist and she punched through the roof with a flying start, landing amid the dust and debris with a roll and a fancy recovery post the roll. Yue felt dizzy after the roll but she returned to her senses. Security bots activated but they were mindless bots, meant to serve a single function. Because they lacked higher level thinking it was child's play to cut through them, Firis took care of it, letting Io save her single railgun shot just in case there was an emergency. She broke through to the final chamber where Grover was working on her code and Hymnos was watching the room where the former reprogrammed androids were being reprocessed.

She put the railgun to Grover's head. "Give it up." Io's voice was harsh, full of threats. "You won't hurt anyone anymore." Hymnos whimpered, knowing that she was unable to help, not again these two androids who were immune to her abilities. "You won't do it, Io." Grover sounded far too calm, too quiet. "Be a good girl and sit down. If you want Callisto to live, you have no choice." She typed something into the holographic keyboard and a camera image showed up of baby Callisto in the tube. "We eliminated all cancerous cell growth from the baby that would have eventually become cancer. It is now cancer immune." Grover said with a half smile. "I can transfer Callisto's mind to the baby and grant her a free life."

Io faltered, biting her lip. Now she really couldn't do it. But... she wasn't going to make the choice. That was the former Io's big mistake. "Callisto, did you catch all that?" Io rang her up, relaying all the info. "Grover bargains for her freedom. I'll let you make the choice." Follow the original plan, or take the deal and let Callisto live a human, healthy life? This was Cali's one chance to choose the life she wanted to lead - it was not for Io to make.

Callisto had caught all of that of course, her heart freezing in her chest. Metis's hand gripped her own. There was hope in his eyes, but if Callisto went down that path, she would be a baby, she would need to relearn everything. It would be no different than dying and being born again. "No," Callisto said softly. "I cannot choose my well being over the dozens of others." Callisto shook her head. What was done, was done; she would never be able to take this decision back, even as her heart cried out to be selfish, to take Grover up on the offer and have the life she never got to experience. To be immune to the cancerous growths riddling her true body. Callisto shook her head, it was too late to have regrets.

"We have an offer for you Grover. A conditional surrender, if you will. You'll be able to continue to operate, but you'll have to do so under the regulations of Port Viridi's military." Metis had been the one to bring up the idea to his Commander, who had relayed it to the higher up's. They all agreed that android labor could be a valuable asset to their military, of course, they didn't yet know what powered the androids. Grover was boxed into a corner; she could give up to the police, hand herself over to the riots, or accept the offer to join her forces with the military. There was no running away, not from this, not from all of these people that still needed her.

"You're an important person Dr. Grover, but you're also a reckless one. There are so many of us that still rely on you and your abilities. Please, don't let us down." Callisto was watching and speaking to her on a holo screen of course, but she could still see the conflict in the Doctor's eyes. Hymnos, standing beside her, looked worriedly around, no doubt fearful that she would be ripped away from her precious androids. "Fine," Grover sighed, removing her glasses. "I don't have many options here." She wiped her lenses on her shirt. "I'll accept the offer, but heed my warning. They're not going to like it when they find out what I've been doing. You might still be shut down." Callisto nodded, accepting the consequences.

"If it comes to that," she said softly, only for Grover's ears. "Please kill my real body."

Callisto made her choice. Io wasn't going to hesitate then. Yes, the gun was a bluff, killing her was never going to be a solution to this problem. "Are you sure, Cali?" Io didn't mind if they decided to take the protect Grover route in this final mission. But Callisto wasn't going to budge. "Your sister really needs to learn how to be selfish." Firis said, slightly amused. "Grover, there isn't much time. Look, they're going to get through your defences soon, and your android army isn't ready to fight." There wasn't going to be a big battle, this was going to end here and now. Either be killed by the mob, tried and locked away by the police, or taken away under the military's hands. Metis has the authority. "I see. So this is the way it is, then?"

"If you can promise Hymnos will be protected, then I surrender." But how could they possibly keep Hymnos safe? She was the server itself, connected to all the cables, connected to the supercomputers to keep her running. She even tapped in directly to the power grid of Port Viridi Island itself, it was the only way to keep her functioning given how much power she needed in order to do anything. "Who is Hymnos, anyways? What human was important enough to become the administrator unit?" It had to be one that held a lot of value to Dr. Grover. "My name is Hymnos." Hymnos replied with a soft smile. "My human name is Eliza Grover." Firis quickly scanned her database and memories for the name. "Ah." Firis said quietly. "You're the girl who was run over by a Hovercar and never woke up." She was Grover's own twin sister who never got to live to be an adult.

"I can't be moved, sister." Hymnos told Dr. Grover regretfully. Because of what she was, she had to stay here to the mercy of whoever found her first. "Take her into military custody, please." That was as much permission was Io needed. Grover gave her sister a sad look but knew it was fruitless. "Thank you for letting me live again. Goodbye!" Firis pulled Grover to her and Io activated the Stealth Field again. "Metis, we're taking her back." Io muttered, once again taking to the air. For now it seemed Io was going to have to remain fun-sized, wasn't she?

Once Grover finished last minute preparations they returned to Metis's house.

Grover was deposited into the arms of the Port Viridi Military. Soon after, Jace awoke from her sleep, lumbering into the living room. "What did I miss?" She grumbled, Callisto tearing up and running into her arms. "Jace! Thank goodness!" Jace welcomed the kisses, albeit a bit confused. Black Jack did not wake up, his hardware had been damaged and he jerked awake inside of the tank, involuntarily returning to his own body. The military took control of GENOS labs, including Hymnos, who was left in place, the entire area simply swept up, the children who had been trapped in servile positions freed. Grover wasn't locked behind bars, but she wasn't free to do as she pleased either. It made national news when she signed a contract to surrender her remaining androids to the military.

"You can wake them all up, except this one." He stood guard in front of the tank with Callisto. "Why Private? What's in there?" The Commander demanded. "My sister," Metis replied, back rigid. "She has cancer sir, if you take her out of stasis, she won't survive the night." Callisto stood by, watching, as her body was exempt. Jace too, conscientiously objected from returning to her human body. The androids that no longer had humans to call home to were recruited for various services. They found the parts to repair Io as well, restoring her to her former, larger, glory. "Glad to see you're back to your true height." Callisto giggled. Minnie and Dane's bodies had been taken for research, for the time being, they would be allowed to retain their android forms. It was unfair, but the doctors had hope they could fix them.

"Cali," Jace wrapped an arm around her waist, planting a kiss on her temple. "Stop trying to run away," Jace joked. With the sheep free from Azariah Reiss, the children who were abandoned were placed in a school to teach them skills so that they could become valuable members of society. Jarvis was returned to his human body, he was happy at first, but soon opted to return to his new android unit, having found out he had no family to speak of. Callisto's family, unfortunately, was told her location and where she was presently. Her parents appeared out of the blue, to see her human body, unable to recognize their android daughter. She preferred it that way, she realized, as Metis explained to them that she would not wake up.

Grover had hope of course, that they could transfer Callisto into the infant clone's body, but for the time being, it would remain in stasis until her current human body was no longer viable. Callisto was allowed to return to her job as an idol, once the kinks were worked out and androids were given a bit more rights, now that they knew they were humans. She had a salary, Jace had one as well, the two living together. Black Jack, well, with his interfacing broken, was happier as a human then he ever was an android. Callisto saw Io and Firis often, they were neighbors of course, they lived in a high rise in the center of the city with a view of the ocean.

"I'll never get tired of this life," Callisto said with a sigh, glancing at her reflection in the mirror. "Well, you'd better. You're on in five minutes," Jace replied, nudging her in the side as Callisto laughed. Her first concert as a free android, it was exhilarating! "One year ago, I never would have thought any of this could be real. That I could be here, performing for so many people." Io and Firis were given tickets to come, but whether they had actually shown up was another thing. The two were busy with each other these days, they were madly in love after all.

"Cali, it's time!" Callisto nodded and pushed out of her seat, Jace giving her a good luck kiss on the lips. "You're gonna do great out there, I just know it." She said, giving her one last peck on the nose. Callisto nodded, "Yeah!" She bound out between the curtains, excited to perform in her new body.

"Hi everyone, I'm Cali! Thanks for coming, let's get started!"
