As Anaheim Electronics' leader and sniper, Fumio Minamoto is "stillness in motion," a poised and confident warlord. A sensitive sniper and calculating swordsman, Fumio considers himself an artful opponent. He’s a craftsman before he is a battler, and carries himself with a sense of self-importance.

At school, Fumio’s aristocratic personality is his social selling point. His strong academic track record makes him a faculty favorite, and classmates buy into his “refined and gentle upperclassman” guise. His charisma is equal to his manipulative nature, and he prefers using mind games over force. Naturally, the sniper position suits him best. Few things escape Fumio on the battlefield; he is a calm, tactical, and focused leader. His trust in his teammates stems from overconfidence in himself. Fumio’s self-absorbed personality, strangely enough, has little to do with him, and everything to do with his brother. Although he despises growing up in his brother’s shadow, he’s entirely obsessed with him.

Like Full Frontal, his Gunpla's Gundam pilot, Fumio considers himself the "Will" of his predecessor. He possesses the same drive and ambition that his brother, Nobuo Minamoto, once carried, and he hopes to finish what his “pathetic brother could not.” While his face and mien might strongly resemble Nobuo, Fumio is much more sinister. His desire to succeed is driven by a greater desire to “avenge” his primary caretaker. Regardless, a well-manicured disposition hides his true self. To his rivals, he is a mysterious and elegant presence of grace and power. To his teammates, he is a dependable center of guidance and counseling. Whether Fumio rises above the turmoils of his own inner war, however, remains to be seen.

Once a Fumio reaches 10 kills, he may activate his Innovator quality. While improved output system activated, Fumio can reduce weapon/equipment cost by 1GP.

The Sinanju Shogun is the modified version of Anaheim Electronics's MSN-06s Sinanju Stein. Despite its samurai aesthetic, its actual function is more akin to that of a ninja. With a sniper-oriented outfit, it is Fumio’s primary weapon of destruction, though he claims it still requires some tuning. A heavy DPS dealer, Fumio sees the Sinanju Shogun as salvation from his past. As the Sinanju Shogun's pilot, he faces day-to-day opponents from behind the comfort of shadows, walls, and high places.

Suit gains 2 free hex movements during turn. +2 to Defense. Provides boost function.

Sniper - Sniper preparation time is reduced to one turn. Increase of three hexes range for all sniper rifles.

Aesthetic Motifs - The Sinanju Shogun’s armaments are a collaboration between Fumio Minamoto and the Shinjuku Samurai Museum. Its katana are designed based off of the Odagumi (織田組), and the MS's armor was inspired by Oda Nobunaga himself.

The Shirinui Akatsuki Gundam was a gift from Nobuo, and the first Gunpla that Fumio ever built for himself. Although lacquered in gold, it’s a battered unit that Fumio hopes to retire. While his feelings towards the machine are complicated, the MS's design is quite simple. Fumio's custom Muramasa Akatsuki is a unit tailored for melee situations, and allows his swordsmanship to shine.
