Alexa stared up at the ceiling, she was in the part of the dorms that was fashioned into what looked like a very plain and boring living room. There were no electronics to be seen except for the occasional security camera. Alexa yawned, it'd been oddly quiet in the lab the past few days.
"How boring..." Alexa muttered.

Adie wandered around the dorms wondering if anything interesting was happening elsewhere in the facility. She played with her fire as she walked to pass the time. She made her way back to her room and plopped down on her cot. 'Worst. Place. EVER.' she thought as she made a little firey tornado on her floor. The scientists didn't mind her making little things like that as long as she kept it under control. She watched her little tornado spin for a few seconds before putting it out and laying down. 'Might as well take a short nap.' she thought as she got cofortable.
The teen rolled off the cot, and stretched. With his hand he moved his blonde hair away from his damp forehead. A side effect he got from the experiments was uncontrollable sweating. He didn't sweat as much anymore but it still appeared now and again. With long strides he left the room and headed for an area in the dorm similar to a plain white living room.
He saw a familiar girl sitting in the empty room. Plopping down next to her, he spoke to her, breaking the silence.
"How's it going, my dear Alexa?"
"Alright I guess." Alexa said glancing at him.
She a small ball of shadows in her hand, letting dark tendrils drift out from it as its shape changed into that of a bird. She tossed it into the air, and it fluttered around the room. The black shadow was a nice change in the sickening white room. She'd been practicing, slowly gaining control of her powers. Until recently her powers had been...out of control, for a lack of a better term which had led the scientist to keep her drugged up, giving her things to keep her powers to a minimum. She waved her hand, the bird disappearing slowly, the shadows drifting away.
It was hollow. Oh, it was so hollow that it seem to gulp him up in one go from the void. The white hall to him felt like it would go on forever as the true number of pi. Nevertheless, a dainty smile was placed upon the young man's lips; though, the unnerving presence of the two guards that stood from both sides of him seem to dampen it a bit. 'That's totally creepy-weird.' Blake must have thought.
A few while, the journey has stopped as they reach a door similar to the others. 'This must be mine!' He mused silently as one of the two employees shut the door behind him the moment he were to inspect his new place of living by going in. By this, he jumped a bit, quite surprised. Rushing back outside, such eyes of bright brown came to watch the two exit the hall with a 'click' on the door. He scratched his head, thinking it oddly as to question why would they do such thing. Well, he was quite new, of course, to not know the procedures of the norm.
With nothing else better to do than to look at such a boring white room, the blonde set out to visit other 'employed' people such as him to meet them. He started walking pass the doors until one caught his attention; apparently, the room seem to have two people talking. Without any second thoughts, he busted in and grinned wide. "Hello ther--AH!" Startled by seeing a bird flew past him and to disappear with a wave of a hand, he leaped a bit. 'What...was that!?'

Adie woke up later that afternoon and decided she should see if the Practice Hall was open. She walked down the long white hallways toward the doors. They were locked today. She plopped down against the door. 'Uggh! This place is so boring!' she thought to herself. 'Well, there's no way I'll be able to get to sleep since I just woke up, so why don't I just move on to the living room?' she thought to herself, seeing nothing better to do. She walked back down the plain halls that just seemed to get longer ond longer. Eventually she made it and saw Alexis, Ricky, and some other boy she didn't know. "Hey guys. Who's the new kid?" she asked curiously, her accent flaring a little. She lit her fingertip on fire and watched it for a second before putting it out and sitting in an empty chair. She glanced over at the new kid who seemed to be either scared to death or amazed by her."What?" she asked him, half annoyed.
Such small seconds seem to scurry away as he blinked profusely at the scene. Eyes widening to say the least as well to be exact on what his expression on. Another voice seem to appear within the room.
"Hey, guys. Who's the new kid?"
Turning his head around, Blake met the face of another teenager this time. His eyes wavered down to the flickering fire that lingered on her finger for a few seconds before it was extinguished by the wind. His eyebrows furrowed at confusion as he now watched her sit across the room on a single empty chair. Still perplexed by such means of the bird and the small fire, his mouth hung open as if to say something; in which, came out as a weak introduction.
"B-Blake....Ahem! Blake Thorne, ma'am! New recruit!"
A small salute was given as he bowed, returning to his once grinning friendly state.
"Shut your mouth before something flies in it." Alexa said looking at the new kid, whos mouth was hanging open. "Don't get so excited." She sighed getting up.
She walked over to Blake looking him over, the cross shaped scars on her back visible through the black lace on the back of her shirt. The kid seemed oddly happy.
"So newbie," she asked, "what'd they tell you this was?" She looked at him, somehow he was happy but astounded at the same time. "How'd you end up here?" she asked. Adie got up and made a small firey tornado no bigger than her hand in the air. "Did they tell you what they do here?" she asked, seeing how he'd react to her twister.

After that somewhat embarrassing start, he scratched the side of his neck and gave a small nervous chuckle about; not to mention to watch again the girl lit up a small wave of the fabulous fire once more. 'Wow! How'd they do that?' Blake commented, sighing at it. "Sorry, miss! But those tricks you guys pulled are wicked cool, you know! Of course my mouth'll hang open!" Placing his hand down now to rest at his hip, he stuck his tongue out with a playful smile as he said so: "I believe I can do what I want, miss!"
However, the moment the girl in the gray jacket and white clothing underneath has asked him the following questions, he tilted his head and placed a finger under his chin as to think for a while. "Hrmm...Oh! The employers told me that they're looking for people of my age to help out with a project. It has something to do with light, dark, fire....etcetera!" He proclaimed, crossing his arms with a nice grin. "Y'know, my dad works overseas to help out my mom and I. I wanted to help too! So I signed up! Hmmm....let's see-- They only told me that they want to see more how nature interacts with humans more. It'll be pretty cool for me, really! But even though, I guess that........Woaaaaaaaah! Look at that! Dudette, you gotta show me the secret of those tricks! They're awesome!" He stood in awe, flicks of the fire reflected on his chocolate orbs. "Is this what they want us to do? Get cool super powers? Consider me lucky to even be here!"
"But do tell, what's the name of you pretty ladies and the dude over there, eh?"
“So what would you like to do today, Abbo?” The girl questioned softly.
“…There is nothing to do.” The boy merely sighed in response.
The two near identical figures walked at a steady pace as they made their way down a narrow hallway, paying little attention to all that surrounded them whilst doing so and quietly chatting between themselves. Abbo, the boy, walked down the hall with his back straightened and maintained himself in a proper manner. Saeword, the girl, likewise strolled alongside the male with a similar proper fashion.
“I know that! But… it does not mean that every day needs to be the same and so boring.” She quietly protested before glancing to her brother with a pleading stare. “Come on! Think of something.”
“Our lives as we know them are not the same, though as boring as they may be…”
The siblings continued walking before coming to a sudden halt beside a familiar door. From within the room they could hear voices - some recognizable though one or two remained a mystery. Propelling herself forward - out of curiosity - Saeword placed a hand against the door and pushed it open slightly, allowing enough space for her to peer round the edge and eye up the bearers of the voices. As expected, some of the faces were known to her, though one in particular was definitely not one she had witnessed before.
“Oh, excuse me everyone! Just being nosey!” The girl giggled before returning to her upright position and opening the door fully to expose both herself and her brother. Upon entering the room she eyed up the people who populated the area before her - offering a warm smile to them all.
From behind Abbo followed, staring somewhat blankly to the small group of individuals.
“Looks like everyone is in here today.” She said sounding slightly surprised. “It is not often we find ourselves so closely together… it is rather nice to see everyone. And look, we have a new member to our little family?” Clearly referring to the unfamiliar boy, Saeword eyed him up curiously. “I hope we’re not interrupting all of you.”
"No, not at all. Guys, this is Blake, he's new." said Adie politely "He just got here. He doesn't even have an element yet." she motioned to Blake as she speaks. Adie had to be carful not to use her element now, because Saeword was scared of fire. Adie occasionaly messed around with Saeword about it, but overall left it alone.
"...?" He raised an eyebrow, looking at Saeward's dreadful stare at the newly created flame from Adie's palm. Taking some sort of discomfort to see the girl shake a tiny bit, he thought as what to do to ease the girl from fright, he can only wrap an arm around her shoulder and patted her gently as she calmed down.
"O-Oh, it is fine...really!"
Now better, he released the loose half-hug thing from her and nodded. "Quite curious to ask, why do you have pyrophobia when your element's water?" He asked almost quite casually. Oh, such the care-free state, are we? "Flooding the dorm room? Ah, hehe! That's a lovely skill to have to prank someone...." He grinned, clasping his hands as he imagined if he were to have the same power. He could mess with Adie that way for some time.
"That's so, Abbo? Woah, now I don't wanna mess with ya!" He laughed, ruffling his hair bit in just a little nervousness. 'Yep! Better not mess with this guy!
"Does anyone know what time it is?"
The question floated up to the atmosphere. To this, he shrugged and shook his head. "Nope, as I could see. Why not ask Alexis? She might know. Oh man, now I'm thinking whether the food here sucks or not. Bummer....can anyone fill me in on that, please?"
"The food's average. It's not gormet, but its alot better than school food." she said, laughing at her own joke. She looked over to Alexis. "Do you know what time it is Alexis?" she asked causually. Her stomache growled quietly.
"They'll probably come and get us soon though" I heard a girl speak. I also smelt smoke. I slowed my steps and peeked in there was six people in there. All varying in age, but there was 3 boys and 3 girls. I decided that perhaps they would be able to tell me where I was. So I stepped into the room they gathered in. "Besides, I'm starving." the girl that I heard had a bit of accent, reminded me of the Scottish lady that owned a pub not that far from where I slept at night. I could here her stomach rumble from here. I stayed by the door and shuffled awkwardly on the spot and fiddled with the worn sleeve of my brown hooded sweater. The sleeves where slightly longer then my leather winter coat but that was okay. I scuffed the toe of my warn sneaker on the floor and looked down as I spoke.
"Perhaps someone could tell me where we are?" I didn't speak very loudly and I was afraid that they didn't here me.
Wicca slowly walked down the long hall of The Dorm, currently she was being escorted by one of the Scientist.
"Alright you bloody savages" the Scientist growled "you all have a new recruit introduce her, make her feel welcomed and all that jazz" he pushed her into the room and walked off. Wicca scanned the room trying to memorize all the faces she have seen then slowly she cowered into a nearby corner.
