After her careless studying, she stood up and dusted her knees off, plastered with dirt and mud. She then entered a tunnel and stumbled across rock, before colliding with a girl.
"Ow." She said aloud, and peeked over her shoulder, an attempt to see as what the room withheld. It was a bland room, covered with brown paintings, and brown trophies decorating brown tables. A lot of brown. A lot of shit. She smirked, before losing her foolish smile to discover Aidan standing in the center of the room, a fire ball flickering in his palm.
"Amethyst? You okay?" I said as I stepped closer, using the flame to examine her slightly to make sure she's alright.
((OOC: Sorry it's short -_- not really a lot to talk about at the moment. That and I just woke up so...I'm still tired.))
I really resented the idea of going inside the temple but curiosity won over and I found myself walking inside. The second my boots touched the earth inside the temple they echoed loudly, I sighed bitterly and marched on inside. I think most of the elementals are in here but I didn't care much. I explored alone not desiring the company of others. It was dark in here I guess that was a plus. I felt slightly stronger and more awake in the dark and I could finally feel half glad I came inside here. My eyes flickered across the room and I continued to walk the echo of her boots getting less and less annoying with each step.
I looked at the engravings on the walls fascinated momentarily then boredom pushed the emotion away and she continued walking deeper into the darkness.
Leona studied the two, so he was a fire elemental? Then, she assumed, she might be as well. They both seemed rather lost and particularly destructive (one had caused a cave in, the other had crashed into her without thinking) as fire types typically were. Both of them looked tired and dirty, which was a problem that Leona faced daily (there wasn't one piece of clothing she owned that didn't have a grass stain on it), but she tried to keep herself clean as much as she could.
Realizing that she was probably staring for a bit too long, she smiled and offered a hand to the girl to help her stand. "Well, you two certainly know how to make an entrance," she chuckled, continuing "My name is Leona and I am the earth elemental, it's a pleasure."
Having grown up in the 1500's Leona was quite old fashioned, though she had gotten a lot better as the ages went on, fitting in with the modern times as well as she could. She was still very polite and maintained her composure, even in the toughest of times.
She could have given them her titles and a 'proper' introduction, as she called it, but from old knowledge she knew that the fire elementals were, generally, impatient.
The dark chick was ahead of him and he could tell by her behavior that she resented being here as much as he did. Then, she became interested in the surroundings around her. She liked the dark after all, he thought. She turned to the heiroglyphics and boredom reached for face once more. She could probably sense me watching her, he realized then and stopped staring. They didn't hit it off very well.
He moved on ahead, brushing past her and finding the Earth Elemental introducing herself. Wayne was the first to step up. He hated their kind, but he didn't have to show it. "Name's Wayne." he replied before moving past her to look onward into the dark caverns.
She pictured herself back in the bar comforted by the dim lights and amused by the burn of alcohol on her throat. She could get away with anything there because.no one could stop her she was pratically immortal in that enviroment but here she was sureondes by crazily annoying elementals in a dark temple. She frowned and had a sudden longily to just pack up and.go.
"My name is Amethyst." She pulled a slim smile.
Amethyst brushed her hair behind her ear, feeling the cold air invite itself into the bared skin. She shivered, a sudden realization that she stood in front of Aidan, her feet having carried her swiftly in the immersed direction of Aidan's voice. She pressed her hand to her chest, a rapidly beating organ in constant thrumming. Amethyst strode towards Aidan, past the earth elemental and past the cool entrance, towards Aidan who was so warm. She smiled, taking the lock of hair out from the back of her hair and letting her smile fall to a grim smirk. So warm. Full of heat. She couldn't resist.
"I'm fine." Amethyst breathed, her hand closing in on the warm fabric of his shirt. She couldn't resist, nor could her resistance be converted into anything natural. Excuses ranged from being cold to other incessant things. Amethyst breathed heavily, a sudden intake of breath. Her hands fanned out in front of her, as she stared at her knuckles and thin fingers, knobby with bone and joints intermingled into a single structure.
"Oh. I-I'm so sorry Aidan. I s-should just go." Amethyst spoke quietly, folding her hands together in front of her pelvis and walking towards the exit, now open, and she abruptly glanced at Leona before walking towards the exit of the cavern with embarrassment coloring her face.
