Because of the abuse and murder, she is emotionally damaged. She does not open up to others and does not trust easily. However, she is always seen smiling and talking to others to cover up her emotional scars.
| Personality |
"Well, let's see. I don't believe in lying, so I always tell the truth. What's the point in it? I don't get it. The one being lied to is most likely going to find out the truth sooner or later, despite what the other person says. Of course, there is the lying to make others feel better about themselves which I totally get, but I still won't lie to someone even if it's that kind. If someone asks me how they look and they look terrible, in going to tell them. Does that make me a bitch?I hope not. I don't do it out of spite, I do it to help the other person and I do it because I'm looking out for them.
I don't believe in cruelty or violence, so I treat others the way I want to be treated and try to settle disputes peacefully. I never understood why others would go out of their way to make someone else's life hell. The person is just causing more drama for themself. Really, can't you just leave them alone? Ah, violence. I've never been a fighter, but I'll fight for what I deem necessary. I won't sit and watch those I love and what I care about collapse around me. I don't believe in sitting on the sidelines. If there's a fight regarding something I'm passionate about, I'll be one of the first to join the fight. That's only if there's no way of talking it out. I'm very passionate about few things, and when I care about something, I'll protect it and give my life for it. I'm not afraid of dying, and I'll willingly give my life for what I care about."
| History |
Delaney Margaret Scott was born into the Scott family on May 1, 1997. As she grew up, she was spoiled as a result of being an only child. Her parents had given her everything she desired, as long as it was reasonable. She was content; there was nothing to complain about. That is, until her 12th birthday.
On her 12th birthday, her parents threw her a birthday party exclusively for her family and family friends. That was her best and worst memory. During presents, her parents had given her a locket. It was so simple, but Delaney fell in love. She had never had anything like it and it was priceless to her. Later that night when the twelve year old had gone upstairs to sleep, her father's former college roommate and best friend had run into her. She had trusted the male as she had grown up around him and he had never treated her poorly. That night, he started getting too close, looking at her the wrong way, and grabbing her in the wrong places. Her parents never found out, and she has never told anyone, nor does she plan on it. It was too much for her to take, but it was too painful for her to talk about. It still is. The joyous-turned-tragic event had initiated the beginning of hell for the adolescent.
Several months before her fifteenth birthday, Delaney had noticed little things happening around her. When she ran on grass, she seemed to glide. When she looked at withered flowers, they seemed to come back to life. When she touched eaten leaves, they would return to their purest, healthiest form. She didn't know what was going on, but she enjoyed it. The purity and oddness calmed her, even took her mind off of things. She secretly experimented with nature, seeing exactly what weird things would happen around her. Everything she did was for the better. She never did anything to harm anyone or another plant or creature, until it happened again. Two weeks before her birthday, Delaney's parents had gone out to dinner and left her home alone. While she was sitting in her room, she heard the door open. Paralyzed with fear, Delaney didn't move from her bed. She only watched as he entered the room. She only watched as he approached her and took his "normal" place on her bed. She went into shock as he came forward and forced himself upon and inside her. She normally didn't scream. She normally didn't cry. She normally didn't fight. But that time was different. The atmosphere was different. He was more venomous than usual, and she was broken and frantic. In the heat of the moment, she didn't see what happened. There was a thump and the weight of his body wasn't on her anymore. She didn't see where the vines had come from and she didn't know how they had gotten there. From that day on, she's had to control her emotions and push herself physically with her abilities. She doesn't want to have another outburst.
