"They're called secrets for a reason....right?"

Delaney was sexually molested and raped at the age of twelve by a family friend. She was continually abused until the man "mysteriously died"; Delaney had accidentally killed him. Because of the abuse and murder, she is emotionally damaged. She does not open up to others and does not trust easily. However, she is always seen smiling and talking to others to cover up her emotional scars.

| Personality |

"Well, let's see. I don't believe in lying, so I always tell the truth. What's the point in it? I don't get it. The one being lied to is most likely going to find out the truth sooner or later, despite what the other person says. Of course, there is the lying to make others feel better about themselves which I totally get, but I still won't lie to someone even if it's that kind. If someone asks me how they look and they look terrible, in going to tell them. Does that make me a bitch?I hope not. I don't do it out of spite, I do it to help the other person and I do it because I'm looking out for them.

I don't believe in cruelty or violence, so I treat others the way I want to be treated and try to settle disputes peacefully. I never understood why others would go out of their way to make someone else's life hell. The person is just causing more drama for themself. Really, can't you just leave them alone? Ah, violence. I've never been a fighter, but I'll fight for what I deem necessary. I won't sit and watch those I love and what I care about collapse around me. I don't believe in sitting on the sidelines. If there's a fight regarding something I'm passionate about, I'll be one of the first to join the fight. That's only if there's no way of talking it out. I'm very passionate about few things, and when I care about something, I'll protect it and give my life for it. I'm not afraid of dying, and I'll willingly give my life for what I care about."

| History |

"There's not much to tell, honestly."

Delaney Margaret Scott was born into the Scott family on May 1, 1997. As she grew up, she was spoiled as a result of being an only child. Her parents had given her everything she desired, as long as it was reasonable. She was content; there was nothing to complain about. That is, until her 12th birthday.

On her 12th birthday, her parents threw her a birthday party exclusively for her family and family friends. That was her best and worst memory. During presents, her parents had given her a locket. It was so simple, but Delaney fell in love. She had never had anything like it and it was priceless to her. Later that night when the twelve year old had gone upstairs to sleep, her father's former college roommate and best friend had run into her. She had trusted the male as she had grown up around him and he had never treated her poorly. That night, he started getting too close, looking at her the wrong way, and grabbing her in the wrong places. Her parents never found out, and she has never told anyone, nor does she plan on it. It was too much for her to take, but it was too painful for her to talk about. It still is. The joyous-turned-tragic event had initiated the beginning of hell for the adolescent.

Several months before her fifteenth birthday, Delaney had noticed little things happening around her. When she ran on grass, she seemed to glide. When she looked at withered flowers, they seemed to come back to life. When she touched eaten leaves, they would return to their purest, healthiest form. She didn't know what was going on, but she enjoyed it. The purity and oddness calmed her, even took her mind off of things. She secretly experimented with nature, seeing exactly what weird things would happen around her. Everything she did was for the better. She never did anything to harm anyone or another plant or creature, until it happened again. Two weeks before her birthday, Delaney's parents had gone out to dinner and left her home alone. While she was sitting in her room, she heard the door open. Paralyzed with fear, Delaney didn't move from her bed. She only watched as he entered the room. She only watched as he approached her and took his "normal" place on her bed. She went into shock as he came forward and forced himself upon and inside her. She normally didn't scream. She normally didn't cry. She normally didn't fight. But that time was different. The atmosphere was different. He was more venomous than usual, and she was broken and frantic. In the heat of the moment, she didn't see what happened. There was a thump and the weight of his body wasn't on her anymore. She didn't see where the vines had come from and she didn't know how they had gotten there. From that day on, she's had to control her emotions and push herself physically with her abilities. She doesn't want to have another outburst.

So begins...

"I'm off!" Roselli calls out to her grandmother as she races down the stairs. There is still plenty of time before school starts, and her grandma knows that, for she gives Roselli "the look". That look that says 'what are you up to now'. Rose knows it all too well, still her grandmother thinks it best to ask "why so early? You're not the punctual type" she jokes in her heavy Spanish accent. "Ay abuela, must you be so openly suspicions of me first thing in the morning?" she teases back as she grabs her daily cup of espresso. Extra strong, just how she likes it. She takes a sip and hums softly. "I do when it's the first time you've left early for school in... well, years". Rose can't help but smile and pecks her grandma on the cheek. "Better late than never, right?" and with that she hurries out of the kitchen. "Take good care of grandma, Bacon!" she instructs as she gently pats her tiny pet pig on her way out the door.

It seems like the perfect day out today, unfortunately Roselli will have to spend the majority of it in school. Still, there's no reason she couldn't enjoy it now. The breeze ruffles her hair and dress as her purple gladiator sandals make their way up the street to a small flower shop. She quietly steps inside and buys the usual; red carnations and yellow roses, then continues on her way. Rose hates keeping things from her grandmother, she really does, but she has something important to do and telling her about it would surely worry her. The closer she gets, the colder it feels. The cemetery gates somehow look taller today. She strolls passed them, straight to the first pair of matching headstones and gently lays the roses down. She lingers a few minutes, then continues on to another headstone further down. She comes to a stop and brushes away a few leaves before setting down the carnations. "I'm back" she mutters as she crouches down in front of it. Her eyes skim over the name plate as she stares in a daze and before she knows it, 20 or so minutes have raced by. She quickly gets to her feet and rushes out. She thinks about texting Claire or Delaney, but eventually decides not to bother them so early in the morning. As she walks she feels a slight sting on her right pinky. Looking down at it she realizes she must have cut it with one of the rose thorns. With no time left to even look for a bandaid, she puts the finger between her lips and continues on her way to school.

Mina's bedroom Dining Room Mina's Bathroom

Mina awoke with a smile listening to the gentle music on her radio that had woken her up. She had an amazing sleep not once waking up for anything. She got out of bed and smiled that today was school. Oddly she enjoyed it. School was the place where she could act or even to others be normal. She wasn't weird water girl. Well thats what she thought of herself. She walked to the closet and grabbed out some clothes that she liked. At the top of her cupboard she grabbed a hat to wear and placed it all on the bed.

She walked to the bathroom and took a shower. After a refreshing shower playing with the water for a minute. She walked out and walked back to her bedroom. She grabbed her clothes and walked to behind her change thing. She changed into a blue dress and a brown belt with a hat she adored that was a beige color. She walked out and grabbed her black bag which contained her school supplies.

She walked downstairs to the dining room and sat down on one of the chairs. Her momma and her poppa were sitting on the table also. Already enjoying their breakfast that was brought to them. "Good morning momma and poppa." She smiled and watched as hermaid came over and placed breakfast on the table for her. "Good morning Mina." Her parents said in unsion. The maid Iria smiled at her. "Good morning Mina. How was your sleep?" She smiled back at Iria. "Good Morning Iria. I had a lovely sleep."

She ate her breakfast and looked at the time noticing it was time to get to school. "See you soon momma. Poppa you will drive me this morning?" She watched as her father came over towards her. "Of course I will." They hopped in the car and drove in silence. Almost towards school she grabbed out her cell phone.

Victor Fletcher
- Hey Vic, How u? R u @ school already? See ya soon, Xoxo Mina-

Delaney Scott
-Hey Del, How u? R u @ school already? Talk soon, should have walked together, Xoxo Mina-

She waved once she was dropped off and looked at the school building. Could she make another day? She walked in through the halls and walked towards her locker and opened it.

As Rosalli steps closer to the school, she immediately recognizes the Black BMW parked outside. Despite how much she wants to say hello to the Griffins, she determines that her best choice is to avoid Ophelia at all costs. So she does. She quickly crosses over to the other side of the street and makes a u-turn towards the entrance of the school. She sends a quick wave their way and steps through the big doors. On her way in she decides to text the girls after all. She takes her phone out and quickly sends out a group text.

[to:] Laney, Claire-Bear, Mina
[from] Rose
-Guess who's at school bright and early today! :3-

She heads towards her locker and smiles slightly when she sees Mina up ahead. Despite being early, there's no way Rose would ever make it to school before her. As she walks closer, she immediately spots a certain Russian walking up ahead. Not that it'd be hard to spot him, given that the sea of students part like the red sea as he walks passed them. Rose wonders if he enjoys that, or if he's ever wanted something different, like a friend maybe. She sighs softly and strolls passed him, raising her own cup of coffee and offering him alight smile. "Good morning!" and continues on her way before he has a chance to mess with her like he usually does. Not that she minds it, but something tells her he'd have something to say about her "punctuality", so she continues to walk towards her locker, just a few ahead of Mina's.

Claire couldn't help but wince as Nicholai stepped in front of her. It wasn't because of the piercing glare he gave her, that she was expecting, but from the burns that coved the top half of his body. She hadn't meant to burn him, I mean, yeah, it was coffee, but she hadn't expected it to hurt him.

Claire just sighed as her and Rose began walking down the hall to her locker. Although Claire wanted to decline taking Rose's coffee, she knew that she wouldn't take no for an answer. So she just smiled warily at her and mumbled a thank you."That's his way of communicating, huh? Well then I guess that I'll have to make a to never start a conversation with him..." Claire joked as they reached her locker.

Putting in her combination, she opened the locker and began pulling out the books she'd need for that day. Claire could hear Rosalli texting someone on her phone and a thought suddenly popped into her head. "Hey... You don't... like Nicholai, right? Like, like like?" Turning to look at Rose, she quickly added, "I mean, who you like is your business! But... please tell me that I didn't just pour coffee all over your crush's head..."

Suddenly distracted by her cell phone chiming, she turned it on to see a text from Lucy. Griffin? Opening the text, Claire couldn't help but laugh a little. She had to admit, the wording was a bit surprising coming from the younger girl, but it was pretty funny none the less.

[To: Lucy]
[From: Claire]
[msg: Well, from what I saw, Nicholai was sandwiching Rose against the lockers... and what goes better with a sandwich than coffee?]

Claire normally would never have sent a message like that to anyone, save Rosalli and maybe Delaney, but she knew that she couldn't be cold to Lucy. She seemed to innocent and sweet for that.

Turning back to Rosalli, Claire smiled a little. "Maybe I should say sorry to Nicholai later when you go to heal him," She couldn't help but smirk, of course she'd been able to tell who Rose had been texting, "You know, you're pretty easy to read.".

Bang bang bang.

ā€œNathan!ā€ she screamed as she pounded on the door. No response. ā€œNathaaaaan!ā€ she tried again, her patience being tested. Again, no response. The sixteen year old furrowed her brow and balled her fists up as she shrieked, ā€œNAAAAAAAAAATHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN!ā€ The running water quickly stopped and she crossed her arms as the bathroom door opened. ā€œWhat?ā€ he hissed at her, his soapy head peaking out from behind the door. ā€œI have to shower!ā€

ā€œThatā€™s not my fault.ā€

ā€œUh, yes it is?ā€

ā€œMaybe if you showered last night...ā€

ā€œWell maybe if you werenā€™t stinking up the bathroom last night I could have!ā€ Delaney yelled, clearly pissed. Her cousin slammed the door in her face, locking it afterwards. The girl huffed and stomped to her room to get ready for school. Unbelievable, she thought. As she rummaged through her closet and dresser drawers for clothes, she heard her mom call up to her, giving her the usual twenty minute warning. ā€œComing!ā€ Delaney hurriedly threw an outfit together and slipped it on, applying a light layer of makeup and pulling her hair up into a messy bun after. She checked herself out in the full body mirror hanging on the back of her bedroom door and rushed downstairs to the kitchen.

ā€Good morning, sunshine.ā€ Her mother smiled at her as Delaney slid into the empty seat. The table was covered in food. From eggs and bacon to cereal and fruits. Delaney raised an eyebrow at all the food and looked quizzically at her mother. Usually, Delaney and Nathan were lucky if they got an apple or a piece of toast in the morning before school. It wasn't that her parent's didn't feed them, Delaney and Nathan just never had time to eat or her parents didn't get up in time to cook. ā€œWhatā€™s the occasion?ā€ she inquired. ā€œOh, nothing. I just have a feeling today is going to be special. You know, something different.ā€ The teen just stared at her mother as she shoveled eggs and bacon into her mouth, washing it down with orange juice. ā€œWell, letā€™s just see how today plays out.ā€

Just as she finished her breakfast, Nathan came down fully dressed. He grabbed a piece of toast and munched on it as he took the rest of the eggs and started polishing them off. Delaney rolled her eyes and walked to the door, grabbing her white backpack and swinging it over her shoulder. Just as she walked out the door, she felt her phone buzz. She scrolled through her notifications until she found the texts and responded quickly to each.

TO: Mina

Iā€™m running late because of you know who. Asshole wouldnā€™t step out of the shower. -.- Iā€™ll be at school in 5! Weā€™ll walk tomorrow, alright?

TO: Rose

Let me guess. Hmm, Nic?(-;

She put her phone away as she reached school. The walk was short, only about 5 minutes considering Delaney was practically running. She walked through the doors and went to her locker, roughly 7 removed from Nicholaiā€™s. She glanced over at the male as she rummaged through her locker, getting the appropriate books for her first period class. He seemed to be looking for something, and then she noticed he was shirtless. She did a double take and pursed her lips to keep from laughing. One of, if not the scariest guy in school was shirtless. What a sight! She got her books and made her way to Roseā€™s locker. As she passed the male she noticed his shoulders and her mouth made a small ā€˜oā€™. A grin quickly formed on her face as she found her friends, Claire and Rose, ready to bombard them with questions. She quickly found them and leaned against the lockers, smiling. ā€œSo, uh...why is Mr. Tough-N-Scary shirtless? Why does he have burn blisters all over him? What in the hell did I miss?ā€

Meanwhile, Nathan made his way to his locker. He had left the house about 4 minutes after his cousin, and while he wasnā€™t late, he was certainly pressed for time. Nathan was never someone who was concerned with arriving on time, so getting to class late didnā€™t bother him. However, the unnecessary production of being late did. He hummed softly as he got to his locker and emptied his school bag. He collected what was necessary for classes and shut his locker. He shifted his books to his left arm as he took his phone out with his right and sent a quick text.

TO: Ophelia, RiRi

Do you lovely ladies already have plans tonight?(-; Or are you unfortunately busy?

He hit send and started wandering the halls. He knew heā€™d come across someone eventually, but who it would be he didnā€™t know and didnā€™t care.

Roselli laughed as Claire joked about Nic, thinking it was always nice to see her like this. When suddenly- "Hey... You don't... like Nicholai, right? Like, like like?". Saying that the question caught her off guard was an understatement. Rose could only blink and stare at her friend as she tried to figure out a way to answer that. "Dear God, no!". Realizing that must have sounded pretty bad, she attempted to clarify. "NOT that he's not likable but, I mean...". She grunts, frustrated that she can't quite explain what she's thinking, and leans against the lockers. "I just... don't think I can like anyone that way for...a long while." She decides to leave it at that, assuming Claire will understand what she means. She is very clever, apparently too clever. Or maybe Rose is just easy to read like she says. "Were you reading over my shoulder? Claire-Bear I am shocked" Rose states matter-of-factly. Really, how else would she had known what she sent him? Not that she actually minded. Or was she truly that easy to read? She hopes that's not the case.

Before putting up her phone she quickly texts Lucy back.

[From Rose]
[To Lucy]
-Let's just say Claire-bear got a tad carried away XP what am I going to do with her, I wonder u.u-
-P.s. good morning :3-

Then quickly puts her phone away and turns back to her friend. "I don't even think he'll take me up on the offer, too much of a hardass for that sort of thing I'm guessing" she jokes, and smiles when she sees Delaney heading their way. For the first time in forever, Rose had actually made it to school before her. The world can officially come to an end now. "Good morning! Who's getting to school late now?" she teases with a slight nudge of the shoulder. "And as for Nic, I think Claire-bear can clarify that for you". She said this, because there was now something else troubling her aside from the guilt of the boy's burns. Claire seemed slightly irritated and uneasy when she walked into the school earlier, and now Delaney had barely managed to make it to school on time. To others it would seem silly, but it worries her. She does a quick search of the halls, wondering if she can spot a certain someone, and indeed she does. Nathan seems uneasy as well, even if she only spots him from a distance. She immediately guesses they had yet another argument, which only worries her more.

Unintentionally tuning out of Claire and Delaneyā€™s conversation, Rosalli watches as Ophelia struts up beside Nathan and clings to his arm. She sighs, deciding to postpone her plans of talking to him. Ophelia aside, Nate is always surrounded by or with girls. Reaching him during school would be almost impossible. Still, Rose is determined. Itā€™s been bothering her more and more recently, so she has to ask him. And soon. She quickly takes her phone out and texts him.

[To Nate]
[From Rose]
[I need to ask you something, whenever you can make some time for little olā€™ me]

And just as sheā€™s about to put her phone up, it whistles loudly, nearly giving her a heart attack. She brings it back up, and Ć®s more than surprised when she sees the name on the screen. Nic? She opens it curiously and reads. Now sheā€™s not only surprised that he responded, but even more surprised that he accepted her help. She taps her finger on the side f it a few times then starts typing away.

[To Nic]
[From Rose]
[Youā€™re so very full of surprises today. Iā€™m sorry that they hurt ): but Iā€™ll take care of that for you. Even though you kind f had it comingā€¦]
ā€¦
[And as for why Iā€™m early. A wise Russian once said, ā€œthatā€™s none of your businessā€.]

She finishes up her messages with the same worlds Nic constantly uses on her and is just about to put her phone away when she's stopped yet again by another whistle. She quickly checks it, half expecting it to be Nic but sighs in relief when she sees 'Lulu' on the screen.

[To Lulu]
[From Rose]
[Sounds like a plan kiddo! Have anything in mind?]

Then quickly puts her phone away before she is interrupted yet again and tries to focus on her best friends' conversation.

She looked at her cell for the messages she recieved from, Delaney, Victor, Rose it seemed like they were all awake and moving around. It was good. They all seemed busy in their lives just escaping for a second to message her.

Claire couldn't help but laugh a little as Rosalli struggled to find words. Claire had to admit, she was a little relieved that Rose didn't have the hots for Nicholai. She didn't want to see her best friend getting hurt, and Claire wasn't sure if she could trust Nicholai with something like that. But even if Rose had said that she liked the male, Claire would have supported her, and been there for her if he ever hurt her. But when Rose told her that she couldn't like anybody like that for awhile, she just nodded. She knew that there was a reason that Rose tried to keep walls up around herself, and she knew not to push. It would hopefully come out when she was ready.

Claire just shrugged when Rose asked if she had read her text over her shoulder. Truth be told, Claire may have peeked a little bit to see the name, but the text itself was easy enough to figure out. Rose really was to nice for her own good.

Smiling at Delaney, Claire watched as she came over to join their group. Grunting as Rosalli put the story telling up to her, Claire turned more towards Delaney and smiled warily. "Well, I can't exactly say what happened before I got here. But from what I saw, Mr. Tough Guy had Rose pinned against her locker. And lets just say that I wasn't exactly in the best moods when I got here this morning... So the coffee that I'd been drinking sort of ended up getting poured over his head." Sighing as she took a sip of the coffee that Rose had given her, Claire mumbled, "Such a waste of coffee, thank god I have friends..."

Hearing her phone chime for the second third time this morning, Claire opened her phone and read the text from Lucy. She was about to reply when she got another text from the younger girl. Reading it, Claire wondered if she should say yes. She wasn't exactly the type to go out and socialize, but then again, she didn't feel quite like going home straight after school ether. Claire didn't know if her mother would even be their when she got home, but she didn't want to take any chances, plus, Lucy was a good kid.

[To: Lucy]
[From: Claire]
[msg: Sure, why not? It's not like I had any plans... What did you have in mind?]
[msg: Oh, and good morning.]

Sending the reply, Claire directed her attention back on the two girls standing next to her.

The teacher walked in, it was a substitute, their regular teacher was on vacation for a month or two, she needed a break from the trouble-making children, Lucy thought. She got two more text messages, she assumed they were from Rose and Claire, she was indeed right.

[To: Claire-Bear, Rosey]
[From: Lucy]
[msg: I don't know, my mom is doing the night shift, 2pm-11pm, wanna come to my place? I will make sure my brother doesn't bother us xP Anywho, he's probably going to Victor's anyway, so he won't be a big problem, Laney can come too If she wants :D]

The last few students started coming in, class was about to begin, she put her phone in her pocket, she was going to turn it off, but she doesn't like to miss urgent messages and missing them.

Delaney rolled her eyes playfully when Rose nudged her, ā€œI wouldnā€™t have been late if it werenā€™t for my ungodly cousin.ā€ She paused, looking down briefly before muttering, almost inaudible. ā€œReally, I donā€™t know why he has it out for me.. Delaney was never one to let others see her down, but there was something in her gut. Something was bothering her, but she couldnā€™t place her finger on it. It took a few seconds for Delaney to perk up again, pushing whatever was bothering her aside. She wasnā€™t about to let the unknown get to her. Rose started talking, directing the blondeā€™s questions about Nicholai towards Claire. ā€œNo way. What did you do?ā€ She was beaming at this point. It was obvious Claire could fend for herself; everyone knew that. It was also obvious she was extremely protective over her friends, but to take matters to such an extreme? It left Delaney in shock, and almost in a fit of giggles. Almost.

Claire told her side of the story and Delaney almost lost it. ā€œYou did not! Thatā€™s hilarious!ā€ She had to put her hand over her mouth to contain her laughter.
ā€œIā€™m never going to look at him the same again, but we can keep that on the down low. Oh, I would have killed to see that. Not just because itā€™s him, but because it actually happened. Come on, how often does something like go down? I've never seen it happen.ā€ She composed herself and shook her head slightly from side to side.

She noticed the two both going back and forth between their phones but decided to not question them on it. ā€œAnywho, what are you guys doing later? Iā€™m in the need for some major girl time. I can barely keep track of what day it is anymore, so I propose we do something later.ā€

Nathan turned his head to see who was grabbing his arm. It was none other than the one and only Ophelia. A sly smile worked its way onto his face as he joked, ā€œSo eager you had to see me to tell me instead of text me. Alright.ā€ He listened to her as he slowed his pace down. ā€œWhat do I want to do with you...Hm, well that could be a lot of things.ā€ He winked playfully at her before continuing, ā€œBut since you have a boyfriend, I suppose weā€™d have to keep whatever ā€˜itā€™ is PG-13 rated. What we do tonight depends on our other friends. Have you talked to Rista lately?ā€

Just then, he felt his phone buzz. ā€œExcuse me.ā€ He smiled politely at Ophelia before taking his phone out and checking his messages. Rose flashed across his screen and he raised an eyebrow as he opened it. He read it and typed back quickly, not trying to leave the pretty redhead waiting any longer.

TO: Rose

Good or bad? Donā€™t worry, I can always make time for you. Catch me at lunch or right after school. Iā€™m usually free around then. Lunch would be better but whatever works for you is fine with me.

He turned back to Ophelia. ā€œAh, how rude of me. Iā€™m doing alright, and how about yourself, beautiful?ā€

Rosalli frowns at her friend's slight change of mood, and of course she knows the reason. That makes her want to talk to Nathan all the more, and hopefully fix this as soon as possible. There has to be a big reason for what happened, and Rose is tired of wondering and having to sit back and watch as they drift further apart. Now she's determined to fix this. Turning her attention away from that issue for the moment, she looks at Claire and giggles a little.
"I keep telling you she's vicious!" she teases as she playfully sticks her tongue out at Clare. "But extremely reliable" she continues with a sincere smile. "And if it's a girls' night you need then you're in luck my dear!" she says cheerfully as she fumbles for her phone and navigates to Lucy's last message, then turns it so Delaney can read it. "Sounds like it could be fun, and we don't get to spend time with little lulu that often so why not?.". She hopes Clare is up for it too. Rose knows they won't be able to talk about what's bothering them around Lucy, but it's a great distraction and quite possibly just what they need. She brings the phone back up to her face and quickly responds.

[To Lulu]
[From Rose]
[Sounds like a plan! I'll drag Laney along if I have to XP]

As soon as she hits send, another message chimes in. Nate... Rose feels her stomach knot slightly as she reads, but she ignores the feeling. It's too late to turn back now.

[To Nate]
[From Rose]
[Busy as always XP Lunch it is then! I promise not to keep you away from your harem for too long]

After hitting send she stuffs the phone back in her bag and turns to Delaney with a hopeful smile. "Are you up for it?"

Nicholai strode out of his class, he didn't care that it wasn't over yet. He didn't fucking care. He had an inkling that Rose, Claire and whoever else they hung out with were still in the hallway. Walking, slightly annoyed about his pink-shirt situation... He spotted them, in a threesome type huddle. They were all giggling. All of this embarrassment was because of that woman, Claire.

He walked up so that he was behind Rose, he grabbed her shoulder.

"I was sitting in the first few minutes of Poly-sci, but then I got bored. So, I came to take you up on your offer. Heal me Rosie. . ." That last part came as little more than a heated whisper just for her. Although he wasn't sure why. He had received a text from Rista, he had carelessly left his hat at her apartment. How foolish, even more foolish of her to bring it to the school.

However right now that didn't matter, he wanted to mess with Rose. He felt like they were fairly good friends. Even if he scared her a little. Sure her body pleased him, she was definitely attractive. Unfortunately he wasn't sure if he was capable of loving someone. No one had ever made him happy before like one would expect with love.

Rose, she smelled sweet. . . Nicholai shut his eyes as he stood behind her if only just for a moment. Then they opened, no one would find that odd, but to him. . . He was taking it all in.

Rosalli has always thought that maybe Nic is secretly part ninja, because she never sees or even hears him coming. For Rose to not hear someone coming is more than unusual. But somehow he always manages to surprise her.

"Heal me Rosie. . ."

For some odd and unknown reason, this last bit made Rose's skin crawl. Why? She had no idea. Nic did this sort of thing all the time. Must have been the element of surprise. She jumps slightly, accidentally bumping into him in the process, and immediately whirls around to face him. "Nic? What-? I thought you weren't going to skip class anymore?" she said as she folded her arms across her chest. Of course she should have guessed he didn't really mean hat. Maybe the burns really did hurt him. She scanned her eyes over them and almost winced. They did look pretty bad, and the fact that he accepted her help had to mean something. Regardless of what happened, she felt somewhat responsible.

She sighs in defeat and lowers her hands to her sides. "Well I do have a free period right now..." she admits, trying to think of a place where they could go, because doing it out in the open would most likely bring unwanted attention. She also pondered the idea of taking one of the girls with her, but maybe that would just cause more trouble. "Wait, no. Go to class." she says giving it a second thought. She can't just encourage his bad study habits. "find me at lunch. I promise I'll do it then". As she spoke, she gave the burns another look over and almost immediately noticed something she hadn't noticed before. A giggle accidentally escaped her and she quickly covered her mouth. "pink?" she giggled quietly. Now there's a sight she never even imagined she'd see in her lifetime. Somehow it made him seem almost... harmless.

ā€œAm I up for it?ā€ She mimicked her best friend, putting her free hand on her hip and cocking her head to the side dramatically as she repeated herself. ā€œAm I up for it? Come on, I was born ready!ā€ She grinned and dropped her hand to her side. ā€œBut seriously, it sounds like fun. Are we going over her house or something? I havenā€™t really hung out with Lucy, so this should be fun.ā€ Delaney liked Lucy. She had never hung out with her one on one before, but they had talked in the past. Maybe she and Lucy could get close. Delaney loved making friends. The more, the merrier.

Just then, Nicholai came over and Delaney raised an eyebrow. He wanted Rose to heal him? Odd, she thought. Of all people Delaney would have never thought Nic was one to ask for help. Especially from Rose. Rose was liked by mostly everybody, so that was understood. But today seemed to be full of surprised.

ā€œHeal me Rosie..ā€ The statement from the male made Delaney cringe slightly. Something about it didnā€™t settle right with her. The scariest guy in school was asking for help and calling her friend ā€˜Rosieā€™. She was aware Nic would mess with her best friend sometimes, but sheā€™d never seen anything like this before. It struck Delaney as odd, but she smirked when she noticed his shirt. How suiting. She decided on asking her friend about Nic later on. Claire may have done it earlier today when she saw the two earlier, but she also may not have. Whatever it may be, it never hurt to ask again.

Nathan smiled, clearly amused at Ophelia. Malcolm missing in action as always. It didnā€™t surprised the male. The couple was off and on as much as Ronnie and Sam from Jersey Shore. Maybe even more, but that might be pushing it. ā€œLonely, huh? Well maybe your boyfriend should be here to watch over you so some others guys donā€™t try and steal you.ā€ As he finished his sentence, he wrapped his arm around her waist and pulled her softly closer to him. ā€œI donā€™t blame Rista. It is a pretty lame place. After all, what school isnā€™t?

When she mentioned the PG-13 rule, Nathan smirked. Just then the bell rang. ā€œIā€™m glad youā€™re enjoying my company, but it looks as if I have to get to class. Iā€™d love to stay and hang around, but I actually have to do this thing called learn. itā€™s pretty boring, but Iā€™ll text you during it so it wonā€™t be too bad. Maybe we can test out that PG-13 rule later tonight.ā€ The last part of his response was half hearted. Yes, he would like to get with Ophelia, but he would never if she was still in a relationship with Malcolm. By tonight, the relationship status of the two may be different. He slowly slid his hand across her back as he released himself from her. He didnā€™t want to go, but he would see her later. Plus, playing hard to get was something Nathan loved, but sometimes had to work harder at. He walked down the hallway away from her and disappeared in the maze of hallways.

Nathanā€™s phone buzzed and he knew it was Rose. He wasnā€™t talking to anyone else after all.

TO: Rose

Harem? That makes me sound like a whore. Iā€™m offended. You should know you come first.

He paused before sending a second message, grinning as he did so.

TO: Rose

If you want me to flirt with you too, just say so.(-;

Nathan had always appreciated Roseā€™s sense of humor and capability to joke around with him. Half the time it was almost impossible to tell his joking apart from his flirting. He wondered how Rose did it. They werenā€™t as close as they used to be, but they were still close.

His mind kept wandering back to what Rose had to talk to him about. Usually, she would just come right out and ask or say it. It wasnā€™t like her to tell him before hand that she had to ask him a question. It had to be important. Lunch was close by so he would be seeing her in no time. He couldnā€™t wait.

Rosalli halfway jogged into the cafeteria. If she was going to do it, she had to do it now. No room to be a coward. She glanced around, scanning every face until she found the one she was looking for, smiling flirtatiously at some girl of course. She half rolled her eyes and quickly headed to where he was. On the way she pulled out her phone and quickly typed out a text for Claire.

[To Claire-bear]
[From Rose]
[I need a huge favor! Keep Laney away from the cafeteria for five minutes or so? Pretty please with an extra espresso shit?? Promise i'll explain later]

As she hit sent, she realized she was getting closer to him. She unintentionally slowed her pace, until she came to a stop. Could she really do this? No, the real question was HOW would she do this? How could she even ask him without being pushed away? That's something she couldn't afford. Maybe she should have waited until after school after all...She inhaled deeply and patted her face a few times. No turning back now. After recollecting her courage, she picked up the pace again and walked up behind the girl. How do you do the being assertive thing again? She quietly cleared her throat and looked up at him.

"Nathan" she attempted to say as serious as she could manage. "I need to talk to you, now." she immediately cringed at how bossy she sounded, and even though she tried to resist with all her might, she couldn't help but to throw a quiet "please" in there. So much for being assertive. She had a feeling Nate would make fun of her for that, but she needed to get this over with as quickly as possible. Not only was Delaney probably headed towards the cafeteria now, but Nic would most likely come looking for her any moment now. She has to get it over with. She almost felt bad for interrupting his flirting...

His answer was quite true. School stuff does keep you up. But why did she have a feeling it was something else. She didn't want to think about it really it upset her. Why was she jealous? What would she be jealous about? It wasn't like she was his girlfriend or anything. Because she wasn't.

She went through the day working hard. During English and other subjects she had been working really hard. It finally came to lunch and she was starved. She walked to the cafeteria with Victor and had decided to grab her cellphone out quickly and text Rose and Delaney.

Rose
-Hey Rose, How was school so far? Anything fun happen? Maybe we could talk during lunch I am in the cafeteria, Xoxo Mina-

Deleny
-D, Whats up? At the cafeteria talk over lunch? Let me know, Xoxo Mina-

Since everything she wanted was done she got her lunch and sat down looking around to see if anyone she knew would come talk to her.

Claire couldn't help but chuckle at Delaney's answer to Rose's proposal. Although Claire wasn't exactly a master at socializing, she was sure that tonight would prove to be interesting. In answer to her question regarding the location of the get-together, Claire said, "Yeah, Lucy said that It'd be at her house." She was about to open her mouth to add more when she heard a sudden voice.

Claire could only hope that she wasn't gaping at Nicholai as he got all cozy with Rosalli. Honestly, the strangeness of it was enough to keep Claire from doing a repeat of this morning, that and we all saw how her last stunt had ended up. Claire couldn't help but feel slightly uncomfortable as Rose agreed to meet the male during lunch to heal him. Rose had told Claire how she felt about Nicholai, but how did he feel about her?

Then, not long after the male in the pink shirt had walked off, Rose took off down the hallway. Honestly, Claire loved the girl, but sometimes, she wondered just what on earth she was thinking. Not long after the girl had taken off, Claire got her text. Sighing internally, Claire thought to herself, 'Wonderful, cause I'm great at distractions.' But realizing that it must have something to do with Nathan, Claire turned to smile at the lone girl standing next to her. "Hey Delaney, would you mind walking to the bathroom with me?" Turning, Claire began walking towards the restrooms furthest away from the cafeteria. Hopefully Delaney wouldn't question where the brunette had run off to to much.

Claire asked Delaney to go to the bathroom with her, and Delaney agreed. As they were walking, Delaney paused and turned her head to look at the vacant hallways that directed towards the cafeteria. ā€œWait, why are we walking away from the cafeteria if there are bathrooms next to it? We have lunch now so wouldnā€™t it make sense if we just went to those?ā€ She didnā€™t mean to sound rude or anything, but what she was saying made sense. It seemed ridiculous to go to the bathrooms furthest away from their later destination. She waited for Claire to respond, looking back and forth between her friend and the direction of the cafeteria as she did so.

The sixteen year oldā€™s phone went off and she checked to see who had texted her. She unlocked her phone and typed out a quick response to Mina.

TO: Mina

Iā€™m not at the cafeteria yet, but Iā€™ll be there soon! Iā€™m heading to the bathroom with Claire, but save me a seat? Please and thanks (-:

Lunch finally rolled around, but Nathan wasnā€™t hungry. He usually never was around that time. He saved his daily feast for when he got home. To him, lunch was a time to scope out the cafeteria for girls and friends alike, but mostly friends. Girls were everywhere, and he didnā€™t flirt with just anyone. Truth be told, he would rather be around his friends in school than random females. Speaking of girls, Nathan spotted a very cute cheerleader sitting with her friends in the corner of the room. He smirked and went over. Then again, some girls seemed to be worth talking to.

He didnā€™t get far as Rosalli came over to him, but he didnā€™t mind. Yes, the two were supposed to talk during this period. Before then he had to pass the time somehow. He looked up from the girl when his friend came over and he smiled immediately, but that smile faded when she spoke. She sounded urgent but desperate, as if what they were going to discuss could change the world. Well, maybe their world. This wasnā€™t like her. Something had to be seriously wrong or bothering her. ā€œYeah, sure.ā€ His voice was low and steady, and he jerked his head to a table in the corner, motioning for them to go over there. The table was secluded in the far opposite corner of the cafeteria, right by a window. The two walked over and he sat across from her. ā€œWhatā€™s up? Is everything okay? Whatā€™s bothering you?ā€ There were times he could read her like a book, when he knew what she was thinking and how she was feeling, and sometimes could accurately guess what she was about to say. This wasnā€™t one of those times. He was concerned; it pained him to see his friend like this.

Then his stomach knotted. Why? Nothing had been said or done. Why was he getting anxious over a simple talk with his best friend? An idea popped into his head, and he feared the worst. It better not be.. he thought. Before she could jump fully into detail about what was concerning her, he spoke, unable to hold it back. ā€œWait,ā€ he paused. He didnā€™t want to ask. He didnā€™t want to even think of the topic. He didnā€™t want to think of a confrontation. He didnā€™t want another fight, and he didnā€™t want a friendship being left in shambles. He sighed and continued slowly with his words; "Does this have to do with Delaney at all? He obviously cared about what his best friend had to say, but he wasnā€™t ready to deal with his cousin.

Lucy walked out of her class and pulled out her lunch, just a sandwich with some ham and cheese as she walked to the cafe, she looked for Rosalli, Claire and Delaney, she sat down next to Mina and pulled out her phone

[To: Rosie, Claire-Bear, Laney]
[From: Lucy]
[msg: Hey, where are you guys? I'm with Mina and you guys are nowhere to be seen]

"Sorry Mina, my manners are so lost today, Hello!" a bubbly smile appeared on Lucy's face before getting a text from Ben. She rolled her eyes, expecting for it to be a message like "I forgot to get my lunch, can you go to my locker and get it for me?" or something among those lines. Then she read it and put on a surprised face, "Hm... Interesting..."
