Los Angeles appears to be a magical city as long as you’re looking from fifty feet. To any stranger who didn’t know better they’d think the city was full of magic, vibrancy, happiness and laughter but you couldn’t be any more wrong. Although the city appears to be full of shining lights that would attract thousands of tourists, Los Angeles is the birth place of one of the biggest feuds known to man.

Three filthy rich families have all set foot in the city, and have all have their eye on one thing. Conquering LA and holding the power in their hands, all whilst crumbling the other fighting families— but of course, if you want to rein victorious the prize won’t come easily. We have The Carters, fluent in business and enterprise throughout Paris, The Daniels who’ve easily succeeded in conquering London and are now on the verge of grasping the rest of England in their hands and the confident Ashers, the third and final segment to this difficult triangle with New York under there thumb.

Though the parents are strict, feisty, and fighting for dominance their children have something else on their mind. Young love. But what are the chances that you fall in love with someone from the wrong family? The chances of that happening may seem slim when you walk the earth along with seven billion other people but here, in the city of Los Angeles it happens more often than you would believe.

Teenagers will face the challenges of young love, and falling for their foe. A love so strong, and so powerful yet it is forbidden. Some may endanger themselves to take the risk and re-veil their romance to the world against their parents wishes while some will be far too intimidated and fearful of the consequences they will face, and instead— keep their relationships in the dark and hidden in the shadows. After all— what do you do when you’re torn between the person you love and your family?

Los Angeles isn’t all it looks from the outside. It’s when you enter the city that you truly find the war breaking out. But will you beone to make it through the war? Or will you crumble under the pressure?

We all know the story of Romeo and Juliet, star-crossed lovers and the hardship of good overcoming evil and we all know how it ends. This is nothing like that story. This is about the filthy rich and the constant fight for money and fame. That’s all it ever comes down to in this region. Everyone is attracted to LA’s beauty and the ongoing night life that engulfs the city. But under the radar three different families in three different suburbs are all competing for the ultimate prize, unlimited power over one of the busiest cities in America.

Who said the phrase “Rags to Riches” only happens in movies and fantasies? Obviously, you haven’t met Warren Asher yet, living breathing proof. But beware, it is said that those who suffered most were the strongest. No wonder he and his wife is slowly snatching LA with their bare hands. With that knowledge of his and tricks up his sleeves, it’s no wonder he single-handedly built an empire all by himself, with his loving wife, Natalia by his side of course. Perfect as he may be, there are always those little kinks, imperfections. The rivalry between the Elites is slowly getting the worse of him, the good side battling with the bad. Yes, he promised himself that he would give his wife everything she wanted and the best for his children. However, a side of his would always come out. Fear. Fear that he won’t be enough and he would do anything to conquer the city he knew is rightfully theirs. And that fear is slowly turning a side of him, bitterness and competitiveness getting the best of him. Natalia on the other hand, came from a rich family but was stripped off of her luxuries as she chose him, a commoner over money. And now that her life is finally fitting in to pieces with her loving husband and her children there’s only one thing she needed to do: face her past and put her ex-best friend, Vanessa, and her little sister Roxanne, who married her rivaling family in her rightful place. And maybe that’s just what the Ashers needed to take over the city, a little kink. LA and the rest of the Elites won’t know what hit them.

Power can only be achieved by means of tactic and a great mind…and maybe a little dirty trick here and there. And the Daniels, lead by Damon and Vanessa Daniels are not new to such belief. Damon, known for his power-hungry and competitiveness had taken London by storm, creating a name, a reputation and a whole new empire not only for himself but for his whole family. And besides, who doesn't know about the father of all the high class hotels around the globe? But hush, on the outside, Damon is the perfect poster child for perfection but behind all those professional smirks and daunting eyes hidden a secret; an affair with the enemies wife, Roxanne Carter. But no, not for love. For pure, utter pleasure. What can he do? War is war and there are no set boundaries. Not only that, his wife had also prospered in the industry. And with their children, whose slowly carving a new era for their name, it will only be a matter of time before LA succumb in their hands. That is, if they manage to rule out the remaining two families: Carters and Ashers. But nothing a little dirty trick can’t fix.

Channel woke up to sunlight hitting her warm brown eyes. She blinked in confusion as she looked around the room before registering in her mind that she spent the night in Marcus's room. She glanced at his long toned arm gently wrapped around her and sighed. Marcus had a habit of being cranky if she woke him up. She slowly eased out of his arms and as she quietly scooted to the other side of the bed. She sighed as she got out of his bed without stirring him. Once out she stretched her arms and legs and examined herself in the mirror. She frowned at her bed head and ran a hand through her long hair that when done hung all the way to her waist but was currently in a fit of tight Shirley Temple curls that stopped at her rib cage.

She strolled over to his bathroom and shut the door as she took a shower. She let the warm water run over her and sighed finally feeling awake. She expertly styled her hair until her soft waves cascaded tangle free and glossy down to her waist. After putting on her intimates she slid on one of Marcus's button ups which, due to her rather small size reached her knees. She went downstairs, careful to not be seen by his parents and made coffee. She was now a regular at the Daniels house, so she knew his siblings were used to her and liked her enough however his parents were not her biggest fan.

She brought the cups upstairs to Marcus's room and set it on his nightstand closest to him. She leaned down letting her hair fall like a veil onto him and kissed him lightly "Marcus baby wake up," She said sweetly. She saw him smirk and stir but not wake up and shook her head in a slight annoyance "Seriously, babe I want us to go out today like normal people. You know to like get coffee and do something couple like. Not stay in the house all day so get up." She finally said.

She grumbled slightly before settling on sitting in his chair which sat at the perfect angle in front of the window that the sun shined in. She loved that spot, it made her feel like and Angel and it looked like light was surrounding her. She closed her eyes and let it soak in as she waited for her lazy boyfriend to wake up.

Jayson had so awoken when the light shone through the white cutains over her balcony doors. She sighed as she sat and looked outside. Jayson yawned and checked the time seeing it was still fairly early in the morning. Suddenly a knock on the door drew her vision to her door. "Come in." She stated to whoever as she removed the white blanket from her legs. In came her older brother Luka who looked to have been up for a little while already. "Morning, Jay. No one else is up so I figured why not go out and eat breakfast." Jayson nodded at her brother's suggestion. "I'll be ready in a little bit." Jayson replied. Luka nodded and left to his room. Unlike his sister he had been up for a half an hour already. All he had to do was change and he'd be ready to go.

Jayon on the other hand had to shower, brush her teeth, and complete the rest of her hygienic routine for the morning along with picking out an outfit and fixing her hair. She sighed as she walked up to her walk-in closet and looked through her clothes. She stopped when she saw a a white sundress that reached her knees. It had a few buttons in the front that went down veritcally and stopped just above a white a small, thin white sash meant to be tied in a bow in the front. She looked over her shoes unsure of whether she should wear heels, wedges, or flats. She bit her lip as she finally settled with white peep-toe heels, her favorite type of heels. She put her outfit neatly on her bed and grabbed her towel then headed to the bathroom connected to her room.

Jayson gout out of the shower after a while and didn't care that she was in there for quite a bit. She cared more about being clean than rushing. She had soon finished brushing her teeth then went into her room and changed. Jayson straightened her hair and left it loose. Luka had walked in wearing a pair of jeans and a navy blue Polo shirt with converse. He rolled his eyes as he saw his sister had just finished doing her hair. Jayson didn't care that her brother wanted to have left a long time ago. She put on a bit of lip gloss and a few of her thin gold bengals. She grabbed her purse that had her phone and other needed things in it before walking out of her room.

Luka followed suit and left lightly closing the door as to not wake anyone up. "Why does it take you forever to get ready sometimes?" Luka asked and it was Jayson's turn to roll her eyes. "I take time to look proper. I may not care much for all the famous namebrands out there except for Chanel Asher's clothing line but I still want to look proper not like I just thre anything on." Jayson answered. Luka sighed and shook his head. Instead of taking either one of their cars the siblings chose to walk to them it seemed like a beautiful day so they should enjoy it. Withing fifthteen minutes they made it to their destination and sat. They chit-chatted idlly and ordered. "So what's with you're liking to Spencer and Dakota?" Luka asked. Jayson was temtped to glare at her brother. "Luka that's not any of your business besides its not that serious. I just like them I don't have just one reason besides I doubt they feel the same."

Jayson hated it when her brother questioned her but she knew luka was trying to protect her and keep her from getting hurt.

Marcus, who had previously been in the middle of a frightfully mundane dream about nothing of consequence, feels the tickle of hair against his face, and reluctantly wakes up just enough for his eyes to open slightly to get a glimpse of the beautiful young woman leaning over him, the one with the chocolate eyes and perfect mouth -which is busy on his, for a brief moment. Stubbornly, he shuts his eyes again and smirks slightly at her attempt to awake him before turning over onto his side, feigning that he is still sleeping although that he knows that the smirk certainly gave away his half-hearted charade. It is a rather childlike act, as well, given that he is just pretending to still be asleep so that he won't have to get out of bed. He has never been the sort to rise early, and anything before nine is early for the young man. There is a reason that all of his classes are scheduled for the afternoon, and it isn't so that he can take a six hour jog beforehand. As his back is facing her, Marcus misses the shaking of Chanel's head, a gesture not unlike how a parent would probably react to a stubborn child. Yes, he certainly doesn't act his age. Or perhaps he definitely acts his age, if one is to be inclined towards the belief that most people in their early twenties behave similarly to children. He would certainly be a shining example of any such beliefs.

Finally, he deems fit to roll over, twisting the sheets over his body slightly as he props his head up with his arm and looks at Chanel inquisitively after her comment. "Like normal people? How pedestrian. Let's not and say we didn't," he complains, losing the will to prop his head up and letting himself fall back into a fully laying position. Still though he is lying down, the young man keeps an alert air about him, staring up at the roof. He can smell the coffee, and grins before sitting up and grabbing the cup to take a long drink of it. "Thanks."

"Alright, I'll humor you. What do you have in mind for this 'couple-like' activity?" Marcus asks lightly, before taking another long drink of the coffee, which is helping to wake him up somewhat. The sheet has fallen to his waist, revealing a toned, but not buff, upper build. His hair is a bit of a mess, blond locks sticking out in a rather funny and erratic manner. Even in this state, he looks the part of a young man from an upperclass family. Perhaps the minimalistic but elegant decor of his room helps to accentuate this image, though. Most of the pieces are designer, but they are never busy nor over the top. Marcus's room is done in gray scale, with a few bursts of color here and there. One of these bursts of colors are his boxers, which have Bugs Bunny printed on them, revealing one of his secret pleasures: old cartoons. As in, the original versions, not the weird remakes of today.

Dakota Asher

Dakota was just having one of those days. You know, when you just don't really want to do anything? But his- annoying -loud alarm woke him up anyways, and he wasn't about to just call into work and say he wasn't going. Besides, he used the sick excuse last week to go out with some girl he had met over the weekend. Turns out she was only interested and sex and while Dakota wasn't exactly appalled to the idea, he didn't really just sleep around with people to sleep around with people. If that made any sense at all. When he realized his alarm was still going off, he reached out to smack the annoying beeping machine and it stopped for a moment, but only to start again instead announcing that it was going to be a beautiful Spring day, hot and sunny with no clouds in the sky. The twenty five year old reached behind the nightstand to unplug the radio before pushing himself out of bed and beginning to stumble towards the bathroom. It was perhaps the only good thing about living in an apartment rather than back at home, he wasn't able to fall down any stairs while he tried to stumble around in the morning, and the bathroom door was only at the other side of the room.

Less than an hour later he was under a car, working on replacing the battery. It always amused him how customers came in and saw him, immediately thinking that the well-known Asher was probably here for a new car upgrade or something of the likes, and then looks a bit further down and saw his oily, greasy navy blue work uniform. In reality, it would probably be impossible for Dakota to live on his own if he still didn't accept money from his parents every couples weeks or so, but he still made an attempt at it. Most of his fancy, designer brand clothing had been traded in for "regular"- Hot Topic -clothing, and he even moved out of the house he grew up in so that he could try and be more independent. Though he was pretty sure it just disappointed his parents, which made little sense to him but... he wouldn't argue, not with them. They had done enough arguing over the course of him growing up.

It was around nine when the boss sent him out to get something to eat, since he had skipped breakfast that morning and it was apparently starting to show. Before he left he managed to change into a comfy pair of black jeans and a Fall Out Boy tee shirt. Across the street was a small cafe that he often went into around lunch time, but it was a lot earlier this time and he wasn't quite sure if it was going to be open. Luck seemed to be on his side though, because the sign announced that they opened at eight on Saturdays. Pushing the door open, he made his way inside and sat down at the bar/counter, ordering breakfast and a drink before he spied a familiar looking duo make their way into the same cafe. "Hey Daniels!" he called out, standing up from the stool and making his way to sit next to the lovely Daniel's girl- but gosh, even the brother was attracttive. Almost everyone involved in the feud knew that the eldest Asher cared little about the pettiness of their parents, and was rather openminded about all of them.

Jayson was waiting for her food and still talking to her brother. "Jay I'm just looking out for you." Luka said. Jayson sighed in response. "I know but I have to live my life as well Luka. You shouldn't be worrying my love life and get one of your own. I see how you look at Bryn." Jayson replied to him which caused him to sigh heavilly. "Oh I forgot to tell you I got a letter from that record company. They want me to send them a demo." Jayson said excitedly but lowly as to not draw attention to themselves but inside she wanted to yell happily. Luka smiled. "Thats great Jay. " Luka was happy for his sister. He knew her dream was to become a professional singer and she's had that dream since she was four. Their father wouldn't allow his youngest to start getting involved with that while she was still in younger adolescence but as soon as she turned eighteen she started getting in contact with a record business and now she was one step closer to her dream. They continued talking until Jayson heard someone call out her last name. She turned and saw Dakota then grinned at him. Luka was tempted to glare at him for interrupting them but he saw that Jayson became even more happy seeing him so he left it alone.

"Dakota don't you work today?" She asked him confusedly as she saw his clothing. She smiled slightly knowing it was his style and thats part of what she liked about him, his uniqueness and indifference. She knew her brother mustn' have been happy seeing Dakota here and sitting next to her. Jayson was still an innocent girl in Luka's eyes and he would probably always see her that way and he felt compelled to protect her but he still wished for her happiness so even though he wasn't the happiest person seeing Dakota when he was supposed to be having a meal with just his sister he'd deal with it if it made her happy.

Jacqueline was already up by the time most of her siblings were even beginning to get up. She was one of those people who were early to bed and early to rise. People often questioned her about it, 'Why would you want to get up early? Don't you want the extra sleep? Do you have insomnia?' She couldn't help but to laugh at a little at the people who would ask her those questions. She often would answer their questions with the same answer she always gave them. 'I want to get up early so I can spend more time in the morning doing what I love. I do want the extra sleep but devotion gets you what you want in the future. Do I have insomnia? No and if I did, why on earth would I tell you?' Usually after telling them that she would flip her shiny, beautiful black hair over her shoulder and ignore them for a while. They can't get mad at her because they were the ones who decided to be nosy.

During this morning she had decided that she would just walk around in her pj's for a while. It wasn't until like 6:30 a.m. when she started to get herself dressed and ready for the day. Her outfit for the day was under wear, a tight black tank top with a white lace shirt over it, jean short shorts, some neon colored socks, and a pair of black combat boots with jewels on them where her toes were. She popped her IPod onto the dock where she could play her music out loud. This was the time where she didn't care if one of her siblings heard her music because the truth was she never really ever played it to loud and if anyone ever heard her playing her music then they must have been pressing their ear to the wall or something.

Sighing softly, her fingers moved numbly over her white laced shirt. Her gaze stayed to the ground before her one of many of her favorite songs began to play. It was a dub step song, as the song started it was as if instinct took over and her body began to move with each beat of the song. An unintentional giggle escaped her lips as she started to dance a little while she started cleaning up her mess of a room. It looked like a tornado hit it, or like one of her sister's came flying through here and messed it up. It was an absolute wreck, and her perfectionist behavior didn't like it when it didn't meet her high standards. Many people didn't get why she was this way but there was really no way to explain it to them so might as well just leave them wondering about it.

Finally she glanced over at her clock. Wow, had it really been that long? It was now 8:30 a.m. which means that it had been pretty much exactly 2 hours since the last time she had checked her clock. Here she was at 8:30 in the morning, cleaning her room and now wondering if anyone of her siblings was awake. She was also here singing along to Bob Marley it was just another thing that she enjoyed. Her voice rang out clear and beautiful around her room as she sang along to the song, "So let’s get together and feel alright." After singing along she started to hum along to it while finishing up her room. A smile spread across her face because she was actually starting off with a good day.

Zachary groaned softly, flipping uncomfortably on his soft mattress. He wanted sleep, there was no doubt about that in his mind because he had stayed up pretty damn late the night before. Right now all he was doing was tossing and turning in his bed. Sure he was falling in and out of sleep but it was becoming frustrating after you have been doing it for the past hour now. He smacked his mattress hard which caused it to make a loud noise. This was one of those times that he cussed into his plush pillow about how he was hating the fact that he couldn't sleep last night and that he didn't know why her wouldn't be able to.

When he could finally no longer take it, he shoved himself up onto his hand which made his back pop in several places. He let out a long, angry huff as he flipped himself over onto his butt and rested his elbows on his legs and then putting his face into his hands. His eyes closed tightly as if begging that he just might be able to fall asleep just like this. No matter how uncomfortable the position was he still could hope couldn't he? Of course a boy could hope but was sadly disappointed when he didn't get the result that he had been hoping for.

Once he finished just sitting there, groaning and rubbing his face he got up then half walked and half stumbled towards the bathroom. He mumbled softly about something, locking the door behind him and going over to the mirror above the bathroom sink. He splashed his face with cold water which made him jump slightly as it splashed on his bare chest. When the cool water hit his chest he couldn't help but to make a random noise. With a very tiny, weary smile he made a gun with both of his fingers and flung them in the direction of the mirror. He chuckled to himself, dropping his arms to his side as he said, "Dang you are looking irresistible. I mean come on, who could resist this sexy body." He gestured to his body, smirking a little.

For some reason he had felt the need to lift and arm, only to catch a smell of his body odor. "Oh shit," He grumbled, quickly dropping his arm back to his side and quickly making his way to a closet in his bathroom which held a bunch of towels for him. This was where he took out a towel and decided that the best idea was that he would just take a shower instead of stinking. That was the last thing he need. Wow, look at that sexy guy. Who is he? Let’s go talk to him. Oh what the! - You stink boy. Take a shower. He thought then laughed again at his thought. He slipped off the last pieces of clothes that he had on, put away the towel on the towel rack and then throwing himself into a nice warm shower.

Finally he had finished up his shower, brushed his teeth and had cleaned himself off. Now instead of smelling terrible he smelled like a mixture of spicy food and mint. He had also just changed into a graphic tee-shirt that had Metallica on it, a pair of jeans that matched the color of his shirt and a pair of expensive sneakers. He was totally ready for the day, he had put on all of his hygiene products, he had fixed up his hair and he had even given himself a pep talk. What else did he have to do? Oh that's right, he still had to go look for a job or something. So with that in mind he walked out of the door to his room and went straight for his motorcycle which was awaiting outside. Now all he had to do was avoid any type of conversation with one of his siblings who would most likely end up getting him side tracked.

Channel smiled as saw her boyfriend wake up.
He stirred a bit before saying  "Like normal people? How pedestrian. Let's not and say we didn't,"  He lazily layed back down before acknowledging the coffee she made. She was about to whine when he said "Thanks."
The comment itself wasn't weird however her boyfriend was usually very entitled so moments of appreciation were usually rare and usually signaled that she was going to get her way.
"Alright, I'll humor you. What do you have in mind for this 'couple-like' activity?" Marcus asked casually.

Channel giggled and hopped onto the bed lightly laying down on his stomach, she kissed him on the cheek before talking about her plans. "Well I was thinking we could ya know, go get a coffee at Starbucks and go for a walk. Or anything else if you want but I want to have a real date,"She emphasized the word real. "It's just with the pressure of our families we haven't been on a real couple date or done couple things. Besides Imnsick of hiding from your parents and sneaking out. Whether they like it or not I'm here and were dating. I refuse to tip tow around like a mistress around your family." She began to speed up toward the end and waited for his reaction for a second. One thing about Marcus: he doesn't take orders from anyone, including her. She quickly kissed him on the tip of his nose before walking to his dresser.

As a compromise since she stayed over his house at least three times a week he allowed her to have a few dresser drawers. She cringed at the word allowed as it popped in her head. She hated that part of their relationship. In most situations it was what Marcus said goes. Usually she didn't mind but she hated being tamed and recently it annoyed her quite a bit.

She reached in and grabbed an outfit.. Consisting of a white lace top and kaput of black shorts. Which she paired with a pair of no heel platform booties. She applied a light amount of makeup and put a head chain around her halo of dark curls. Which were begining to look less like waves and more like thick bouncy curls. She sat on the corned of Marcus's bed.

She had to admit her and him were a peculiar couple, especially when she stood next to him. What with her her exotic hair and dark features, her curvy body blessed with an hourglass shape, and her small height. While he on the other hand looked regal and the perfect combination of upper class and aristocracy. He was the perfect mix of blonde hair blue eyed genes. She was the exotic beauty and he was the untouchable upper class. She looked like she had been through a lot, which she had. But he looked like money and power, which he had.

She quickly texted her siblings so they wouldn't worry about her.

Message: hey guys I stayed the night at Marcus's house see you guys later?

Alaura had spent most of Friday on an incredibly long plane ride and instead of going to her family home, she had checked into a hotel near the airport. Exhausted from jet lag, she had crashed out before telling anyone she had flown to their new Californian home. Flying was one of Alaura's least favorite parts of her job and preferred having a couple of drinks while on board to ease her nerves. From the bill she got, Alaura could tell she had had a bit much. Her agent had flown on the same flight as her, and he had been kind enough to see her into her hotel room. Dazed and buzzed, she watched the light of the hotel lamp outline his figure. Why did her brothers not care about her as much as he did? Oh... because I make him millions of dollars.. "No one loves me..." she sighed tiredly, thinking of her family and how distant she had become with them. "Nonsense, you have millions of fans," her ever-positive agent replied. With that, he left, leaving her alone in the expensive hotel room.

Saturday morning greeted her by glaring through the windows. With a disgruntled grunt, she rolled over to see what time it was. Time for her to be in the world of the living! Joy.. Alaura closed her eyes against reality and the hangover she was dealing with. After a hot shower and an hour spent on her makeup and hair, she was ready to get dressed. Alaura dug through her Louis Vuitton suitcase and pulled out a simple outfit that would be perfect for hanging around the beach, which is where she wanted to go. Alaura made her way out of the hotel, pulling her luggage behind her.

Alaura took a cab back to her house, and grinned at Tina, the house keeper, as she walked up to the house. "You're home!" Alaura grinned, shrugging and nodding, unable to speak because she was so happy. Someone was happy to see her! "Yep! I'm home! Tina, is anyone home? I thought maybe we could go out together..." "No, Miss. Everyone is out, or... busy." Alaura knew what she meant. 'Busy' was the housekeepers polite way of saying otherwise engaged in sexual activities. Rolling her eyes, she let out an annoyed sigh. "I will unpack for you," Tina said gently, seeing the look of disappointment on her face. Alaura offered a quick 'Thank you' smile, and just as quickly it vanished. She turned and left the bag with the housekeeper, walking to the family's car garage. Moments later she was driving down the streets of California in her white maserati.
Image

Alaura pulled into one of the many VIP parking garages and decided to go on foot from there after she had reached the heart of the city. What to do... what to do.. She put on her white Coach sunglasses, in hopes that maybe she won't draw as much attention to herself. A coffee shop on the corner was calling her name, so she slipped in. After ordering her drink, she sat in one of the window seats, watching the busy world that was California flash by. Absentmindedly, Alaura pulled out her cellphone to text her brother.

To: Marcus
Message: Tina mentioned you were busy this morning. You ruined my surprise. I'm in town, the series has gone on break so it's vacation central for me. I'm bored. Come meet me? - A

She attached her location to the text, and pressed send. Repressing a sigh, she took another sip of her coffee and looked back out the window, searching the crowd for a familiar face.

Magdalena woke up to nothing other than the sound of her own phone, having Justin Timberlake's newest song, Suit and Tie, filling her ears through her pillow. She would have let it go to voicemail... If it wasn't her boss. She didn't even have time to groan before pressing the answer button and putting on a fake smile to sound positive. "Hello?" She asked as she sat up in her bed before hearing the British man on the other end, angry about something... Like always. "Maggie, where the bloody hell are you?!" God, again with the Maggie? Could he go one day without calling her Maggie? Probably not since he could barely pronounce Magdalena with having to ask her how to break it down. But, either way, he was her boss and she had to do what he said. No questions asked. So, being the best assistant she was, she checked to make sure it was her day off while answering him. "Well, sir it's my day off, right?" She asked him with a raised eyebrow on her face. "Right, right there is just one thing I need you to bring for the movie, darling." She coughed away from the phone before grabbing a pen and paper from her nightstand and began to write what she needed to do on her day off... For her boss. "I need you to the clothing designs for the designer, the script changes, starbucks for the two stars, and while you're at it, could you get me some lunch." She wrote it down before speaking to the British man. "Yes sir. I'l be there within an hour." She told him before he replied. "Good." Then he hung up on the young girl. When she put her phone on her bed, she let out a groan before getting out of her bed and seeing her two beautiful cats looking directly towards the twenty one year old. "Ever on my day off." She said to herself before walking over to her closet and picking out an outfit for the day.

After a minute of skimming through her wardrobe, she decided on a light blue dress with one of her favorite pairs of heels. She quickly slipped off her sweatpants and shirt before grabbing her dress, slipping it on and zipping the back. She breathed out before rushing to put on her shoes and looking at herself in the full length mirror she had in her large bedroom. And sighing, she wasn't the prettiest girl but the outfit was cute. She looked at her poster or Marilyn Monroe before smiling at her idol's picture. She then heard her phone go off and rushed for it, thinking it was her boss, Robert Mann but, no, speaking of prettiest... it was actually her oldest sister. Chanel. She sighed before reading it and rolled her eyes at it. She loved her sister, she did but it was just hard for her to compete with little Miss. Perfect. She was happy that Chanel found someone, she was just jealous that all her sibling had someone who at least had eyes for them and well, like always... She was just in the shadows. But, hey after turning sixteen she got used to it. Maybe that's one reason she was determined to keep her 4.0 GPA all through High School and College. At least she was the best at school in the family.

She didn't reply before slipping her IPhone into her new bag that she slipped around her shoulder and walking out of bedroom with her cats following after her. She walked down the staircase with grace, seeing that all her siblings were already gone or maybe not up yet. She didn't bother with breakfast this morning seeing that she was a on a tight deadline before actually being able to enjoy her day. She looked at her cats who looked sad once the girl opened the door. Lena smiled at her two little cats and petted both of them on the head before sighing. "I'll be back soon." She told them before shooing them away to the living room with their little climbing toy was. She closed the door behind her and walked to her rather new, light blue beetle. She unlocked the door of the driver's side before slipping in and turning the car on, once putting her seatbelt on of course.

She plugged in her phone to the car and her music started to play through the car. She turned the Ellie Goulding song, I Need Your Love up louder as she pulled away from the house and started to drive towards the designer's store which was located on her favorite place to shop, Rodeo Drive. She looked at her phone to see that she had a text saying that Mr. Mann didn't need need her to get his lunch because he was going out with his wife. "Thank you, God." She said to herself with a bright white smile on her face as she drove a little faster. She had one last thing to do before she could shop or go to the beach or anything she wanted to do. Hell, maybe she would go partying tonight, it was starting to look like a pretty good day already. After about a twenty minute drive, she was at the showroom, just looking for a place to park for at least ten minutes. After a minute of waiting for an awful driver getting out of the space, she sighed in relief before parking and rushing in to the store.

Chanel lays on top of him when he gives in a little bit by asking what she has in mind as far as couple things go, and kisses him on cheek before beginning to talk. She isn't very heavy, and he stretches out his arms to wrap around her body, holding it against his own while she chatters on about her plans for today. Towards the end of it, she strikes him as being slightly whiny about the situation, but is in a good enough mood to not be a grouch about it, as he usually would be. Even he notices the way that she rushes through the end, complaining that she feels like a mistress tiptoeing around his family, before kissing him on the nose. Marcus grabs her wrist just before she gets up and pulls her in for a kiss before allowing the dark-haired girl to spring up onto the ground and walk over towards the dresser, opening up one of the drawers that she has in his large dresser. "Tiptoeing around like a mistress? I don't know, isn't that kind of hot?" Marcus comments nonchalantly, raising an eyebrow suggestively at her before finally sitting up and swinging his legs around so that they are at the edge of the bed, his feet touching the cold wood floor of his bedroom.

He yawns somewhat dramatically and runs his fingers through already messy hair, pushing blond locks out of his face temporarily, before they fall back over his forehead. It isn't necessarily that his hair is long, but that it is straight and parted in such a way so that some strands have the tendency to fall all over the place. He's accustomed to this, however. Marcus hasn't had short hair since he was around fourteen years old and still in middle school. After that point, he grew it out, and now keeps it at this length for the most part. There have been exceptions here and there, but not very many and often followed by a long period of normality once more. He likes his hair the way it is, after all, and sees no truly compelling argument to change it.

"Well, let's rule out Starbucks, anyway. One coffee is enough for me," he decides, not an excessive coffee drinker in the least. The most that he will ever drink is one cup a day, and only in the morning. Other than that, he is content with tea or a soda. In some situations, cranberry juice is also acceptable, and he isn't particularly averse to a drink now and again. The young man walks over to his en suite bathroom and strips, taking a rather fast shower before getting out and wrapping a white towel around his face and walking back out. The process takes all of seven minutes, because, just as he isn't one for excessive amounts of coffee, Marcus isn't the type to take long showers, either. He walks over to the dresser, as Chanel now sits on the corner of his bed, and begins to sort through clothing, until deciding on an outfit. It's composed of dark dress pants and a matching suit jacket, over a white V-neck shirt and beige V-neck sweater.

After changing, Marcus turns around to face Chanel. He is about to say something, but the cell phone on top of his dresser goes off, so he checks it first. Marcus is the type of guy who, eight times out of ten, will answer a text in the middle of a conversation. He quickly scans the text from his sister, Alaura, and smirks slightly.

"Alaura's back," he informs her. "We can go for breakfast at a diner, and then meet up with her or something, okay?"

Regardless of her response, he is already sending a message back to his sister. Out of his siblings, she is probably the one he is closest to, though that may not be saying much, given that Jayson and Luka have their own clique thing going on.

To: Alaura
Message: If Chanel can come, though I think you'll be fine with that. -M

I continue to be bewildered by my own decision to schedule this class, Sienna thinks dully, though not because she dislikes this class. It's one of the standard software classes that someone in her path takes, and she actually does enjoy the content of the course. Rather, it is the fact that she scheduled it so early in the morning that leaves Sienna somewhat disgruntled each morning that she takes it. Every day of the week, Sienna has early morning classes. She did this initially so that her evenings and afternoons would be more freed up, but regretted it fairly early on. After all, the classes start at 7am, but she still jogs every morning. In the end, her schedule allows the same marginal amount of sleep that it did in high school. The young woman wakes up around 5am, jogs for 45 minutes to an hour, showers, dresses, brushes her teeth, applies makeup, and then goes to class. She usually just eats after class, or has a granola bar right after jogging. This particular class has an ending time of 8:45am, being one which lasts for an our and forty five minutes, for whatever reason, and thus she has a few more minutes before it ends. Technically, Sienna could probably leave right now, as this class ended up being one in which they were just given an assignment, but she waits those last few minutes before getting up to go.

After that, her first stop is to swing by some place that sells coffee of some sort, because she didn't grab any before class and is now in dire need of caffeine. Technically, jogging early in the morning should have woken her up somewhat, but the young woman has something of an addiction, and her head is beginning to pound for want of a drink and an apple. Granny Smith apple being the preferred type, as she likes the tartness of the fruit, especially against the other, comparatively dull, alternatives. As usual, she chooses to walk rather than drive, because Sienna hasn't really been the sort to drive around ever since her earlier high school years. She stops in a small coffee shop to grab a drink and a muffin, and settles down at a seat. All this happens before she notices one person whom she doesn't exactly like all that much, Alaura Daniels, drinking coffee at a window seat. Somewhere along the way, that blonde woman apparently got her hands on how Sienna once was, the introverted, nerdy, black sheep of the family. Ever since she found that out, Sienna has been wary of the Daniels girl. Still, they don't interact much, and so nothing has really come of it all, luckily.

Sienna takes a drink of her coffee and looks down at her phone, checking a message received from her sister a few minutes ago. It's just from Chanel, stating once again that she spent the night at the Daniels estate with Marcus, probably one of the more aggravating members of that family. Nothing he does ever seems to completely correlate with what he says, and Sienna rather dislikes the way that he seems to have her sister under his thumb. Not that there is anything she can do about it, of course.

Not responding to the text, as it probably isn't meant to be responded to anyway, Sienna opens her laptop back up and begins going through things. Out of habit, she opens up tumblr, and finds herself distracted temporarily by a variety of things on her dash, most of them fandom related. She may have boxed up all of her memorabilia, but Sienna still watches, reads, or plays some of her favorite shows/movies/games/books from time to time- guilty pleasures, if you will.

Zachary was climbing onto his black motorcycle and was putting on his helmet when he felt his pocket vibrate. This surprised him because usually his friend's didn't text him until much later in the day when they were awake or weren't busy. He slowly tugged his phone from his pocket, looking at the blue case covered IPhone. He turned on his phone, pressing in the password and scrolling through his phone until he got to his messages. He noticed that it wasn't one of his friend's that it was actually his sister whom was informing him about how she was at Marcus's house and how she would see him and their other siblings later. Rolling his eyes he didn't even bother to text her back all he did was stuff his phone back into his pocket. Only after he was sure his phone was safely in his pocket is when he started up his motorcycle, revving it with a small chuckle. He loved cars that made a lot of noise when you revved it.

After a while he sighed, finally pulling out of the drive way from his home and started his way on a job hunt. This was going to be a long day, he was sure of it. There was no reason to why it was going to be a long day it was just something he felt like it was going to be. The only thing he hoped to look forward today was that after job hunting he might be able to meet up with a few of his friend's and he would be able to go get a drink with them possibly. Who knew though, it was all determined on how the day was going to go here soon.

Image

Jacqueline moved around her room gracefully, putting up things rearranging her room the way she wanted it and singing to different songs that played on her IPod. She knew her siblings were already up by now so she didn't have to worry about going out and having to tip-toe around too much. There was no reason to when they weren't sleeping and they weren't doing something that required her to be as quite as possible. Once she finished cleaning her room as she tossed the last article of clothing into her dirty clothes hamper she turned off her IPod, put on some Green Apple scented Germ-X and then left her room quickly. She was prepared for the day, all dressed and ready to do what needed to be done. There was really nothing more that she needed to get done. As she passed by her brother Tristian she waved at him, offering him a smile and then she just skipped off like that. It was time to get out and hit the road. Driving around to see new places was something that she enjoyed to do when she has her free times. That comes in a tight second though because she mostly prefers to just dance around her room, acting like an idiot when she has free time.

Hopping into her silver Honda Insight Ex she started up her car then drove away from the large place they were staying at. Before going on her long drive that would take most of her free time she had to stop by Starbucks. This was only because she was kind of feeling the effects of getting up in the morning and also because she loved their coffee. It was something that help her wake up and become more active even if she really didn't need it. Jacqueline was one of those girls who didn't need anything to wake her up and to make her all hyper because she was usually like that most of the time. There was those times that she could control herself and she would just be all relaxed. Sometimes people thought that if she was relaxed that something was wrong but the truth was that she wasn't really all in the mood to be all hyper and stuff that day. Anything was possible. Here she was, driving to Starbucks to get a coffee and start her day.

Image

Tristian awoke a little uncomfortably, it didn't happen the way it usually did. He was a heavy sleeper, it took a lot to wake him up but today that wasn't the case. All it took was one roll of the bed and onto his wooden floor to awake him from his deep slumber. This has happened quite a few times before in the past but it never affected him until now. Before he would wake up on the ground in his bedroom, wondering how he ended up on the floor and how he couldn't have felt himself hitting the ground since his bed was pretty high up from the ground. Finally after several minutes of just lying there with his eyes closed he finally threw the covers off of him and got up.

Grumbling a little angrily he went to his clock, checking the time only to see that to him it was still early in the morning. He didn't have to get to work until noon and he was up two hours earlier than he usually was. This was not something that he liked one bit but once he was up there was really no way that he was going to go back to sleep. After fixing up his bed he grabbed out a pair of clothes from his dresser then went straight for the shower. He didn't like to listen to music or do anything but get done what he needed to get done unlike his siblings whom a few of them liked to listen to music and take their sweet time in the shower.

Once he finished his shower he dried off, throwing on the outfit that he had picked out. He looked at himself in the mirror, running a hand through his hair and sighing softly. To be honest he looked absolutely hot but that is not what he thought about himself. After staring at himself in the mirror for a while he gathered his things and went back to his room, throwing his stuff onto the floor of his room then getting his phone. Once he had his phone he left his room, waving to his sister Jacqueline who he passed on his way to the kitchen where he got out a water. He went over to the dining table, sitting down at taking slow sips of the cold water that he had just gotten from the fridge.

Finally it was time that he left, he had some time to spare so why not go to the park for a little while just so he could get some fresh air before work. He could also possibly get a jog in too while he was at it. He would just have to see what happened when he got there. There was always a chance he could see someone he knew and end up walking next to them and start talking to them. That is if he wasn't too shy to talk to them, it all depended on what happened.

Alaura glanced back down at her phone as the vibrations brought her back out of her thoughts. She quickly responded that, Duh! of course it would be fine for Channel to come. After the text was sent, she proceeded to dip back into her own personal bubble. Prior to the interruption, she had been thinking about her ideal wedding. A silly thing to think about, really, when she wasn't even romantically involved with anyone, but still.. she couldn't help but imagine how the affair would play out. She imagined a blow-out wedding, one that would put the Kardashian and Princess Kate's weddings to shame. For that one day, she would be a true princess, like her father always called her. Alaura continued to plan the fine details of her dream wedding until she had come back around to the fact that she wasn't dating anyone at the moment.

Brushing her fantasies aside, she turned her thoughts to the feud that had brought her family to this obese and sun burnt country. She looked out the window at the sunny California weather and suddenly longed for the cool rain of England. Was power really all there was to her life? She became and actress and a model originally because she liked it... now that it was all backwards politics and hectic schedules... why did she stay? For the fame? For the lack of privacy? Alaura took another long drag from her coffee to sooth the thoughts in her head. Surely she was more than just a pretty face! She graduated grade school with honours, after all. She picked up her cellphone again, checking to see if her brother had texted back just yet, but of course he hadn't. After all, it had only been about four minutes since she texted him, and he was probably on his way already anyway. Patience was never really her strong suit. She glanced around the coffee shop, noticing one of the Asher girls. Channel's sister, but not the fashion forward one. Uninterested, Alaura turned her attention back to the window and the busy rush of people outside.

To occupy her time, Alaura began to speculate about the lives of the people around her. I bet you have four children, and a devoted wife... in Cleveland, who has no idea about your Brazilian mistress here in California... you dirty dog, she thought to herself as she watched a man in a business suit hurry across the crosswalk. And you, well, you live at home with nine cats.. and I bet you're registered on at least four different dating sites... The red headed woman in her late forties was hailing a taxi. People watching was one of her favorite pass times, though admittedly she was almost never right. Life was never like the movies, and people just weren't as interesting as she wished they would be. No, sadly, mostly everyone just went about their mundane 9-5 jobs, day in and day out. And that's why I act, she concluded to herself. I never want to be another straw of hay in the stack. I want to be the needle.

Luka was irked by his sister's sudden change in topic and people to talk to so he decided to excuse himself. He walked outside of the diner and stayed out front. He leaned against the brick wall and took out his phone. He texted his sister Alaura. It had been a while since he's last spoken to his other younger sister so he figure now would be a good time. 'Hey sis, How have you been?'. After sending the text a sudden idea came to mind. He started typing up a text to everyone in his contacts which was all the elites and a few others. 'Party tonight at the Daniels household. Bring afriend be there at eight!' after sending the text he was genuinely happy with himself. He knew his parents would be out tonight at some function so the house would be adult-free for hours. Perfect timing for a party. Now all he had to do was get Jayson to help him buy the things needed for the party and set up. In minutes a party was planned out fully in his head and that was just how Luka Daniels worked at times, impulsively and recklessly.

Alaura felt her phone buzz back to life in her palm, and upon inspection she was slightly taken aback. Luka's name flashed on the screen. Raising a surprised eyebrow, Alaura swiped her thumb across the screen, opening the two text messages. The first was a simple text asking how she had been, and the second was one regarding a party at their estate, one that he had sent to everyone. " Bring a friend," as she read over the detail she felt her heart twist a little. A friend? Did she really have one of those? Sure, she had friends, but... who did you invite to a party like this? Generally her agent would be her go-to wingman for such a shindig, but for this particular type of party... More importantly, what would she wear?

Immediately her mind jumped to all of the other A-Class upper crust females. What would they be wearing? She decided instantly that nothing in her closet would due, and stood from her spot at the window. Mentally, she prepared a checklist for what she needed to get done within the next hour or so. 1. Find the Perfect Dress. 2. Find a Friend. It seemed simple enough.

After combing through fifteen different stores and trying on countless shoes, she had settled on an outfit. A part of her wished that the party would be a masquerade theme. Mostly because she adored the time era and loved a good excuse to wear something overly extravagant. As she pulled to a stop light the image of her ideal masquerade mask fluttered into her mind and she couldn't help but smile. Suddenly remembering that she had yet to text her brother back, she pulled out her phone and quickly responded to his original text.

To: Luka
Message: Hey there stranger. I've been great! I'll be home tonight! See you there (: - A

Now, back to my checklist...Let's see... thought to herself as she continued on her way. 1. Find the Perfect Dress. 2. Find a Friend. A frown pulled at her lips as she drove toward her family's estate. A friend... why was this so difficult?

Alaura vaguely recognized that she was somewhere near where the Asher's lived when she pulled to a stop light again. A sexy purring sound roared to life beside her as a motorcycle pulled up beside her. Zachary Asher. Since her window had already been rolled down to let in the California breeze, she didn't really have any protection from being seen, so she smiled. A... friend? "Hey, Zach!" She called, pulling her courage together. Forcing herself to hold the smile even though she felt extremely nervous, she continued.

"Hey, um.. There's a, well my brother's throwing this little party tonight...At our estate.. He said to bring a friend... you want to come?" she asked, speaking loud enough to be heard over the rumbling purr of his bike. She kept smiling, and because she's an actress it appeared to be completely natural and warm. On the inside, her heart was pounding. She didn't deal with rejection very well, and if he refused, but showed up to the party anyway, well... that would be extremely embarrassing.

Jayson was beginning to eat and have idle chit-chat with Dakota when suddenly her phone made a sound signalling a message. She saw it was Luka's message for a party and she had raised an eyebrow. She quickly finished eating and bid Dakota farewell at least for now if he was going. She had no idea what type of party it'd be but knowing Luka such things didn't matter. She sighed as she walked out of the diner. In times like these She'd usually go to one of her sisters but Eleanor was god knows where and Alaura may be back home. She could also go to Chanel but if she was going to the party she had to figure out what she was going to where first. Jayson finally decided it may be best to just to go to her sister Alaura.

With that in mind she texted her, 'Hey sis can you help with my wardrobe for the party? Oh and I have great news I want to tell you that I think you can help me with.' after sending the text she sighed. Jayson knew Luka had texted everyone he pretty much knew and seeing as how it was at their estate many people would dress formally. 'I wonder if its a ball.' Jayson thought. She took out her phone once again and texted Luka. 'Big bro what type of party is it?' after sending the text she quickly made it home. She knew Marcus and Chanel should probably still be home so she went up to Marcus' room. "Chanel, Marcus did you get Luka's message yet?" She asked through the door. Jayson wasn't one to invade someone's privacy by just walking in someons' room unannounced. On the other hand Luka was and has done it multiple times to his siblings. Jayson wondered momentarily if he had done it to Marcus and Chanel. She shook her head to rid herself of those thoughts as they didn't matter right now. What mattered at the moment was the issue of the party.

Zachary sped down the road, loving every minute of the wind hitting his helmet and the occasional bug smashing against it which left a long smear across the piece of glass. He rolled his eyes, stopping at a stop light that had now come into his path. Sitting up he glanced around, noticing a car next to him and it just had to be no one other than the beautiful and talented Alaura Daniels. Acting as if he didn't really notice her he revved his bike a few times, just trying to be obnoxious because of how loud it was and also because he loved revving his engine when he was stopped at lights.

It wasn't until Alaura had finally spoken up that he pushed the piece of glass up from him face so that he was able to fully look at her even through his motorcycle helmet that protected his head if anything happened. "Oh hi," He murmured as he shifted slightly on his bike. Acting as if he hadn't totally noticed that her car was next to his bike he smiled at her. "What's up Alaura?" He asked over his bike, trying to start up some kind of conversation even though the next thing she said gave him the idea that she already had a conversation in mind.

"Hey, um.. There's a, well my brother's throwing this little party tonight...At our estate.. He said to bring a friend... you want to come?"She had asked him. "A party? Is that so?" Zachary asked, keeping a smile on his face even though it grew a little at the mention of a party. Of course just by looking at Zachary there was no doubt that he was a party animal and loved going to them. I mean who wouldn't want to go to parties? Especially ones started by the Elites? Those were the most unforgettable parties. Shrugging he thought about if it was a good idea or not to go with Alaura. Little did he know that he was probably already invited to the party but he was just being so damn loud with his bike that he didn't even hear his notification on his phone go off to signal that someone had texted him.

Finally after a while of considering this he nodded to her, "Sure." He said over the loud purr of his bike. "I wouldn't mind going to a party. Wait I am going with you right?" He asked her curiously. That would suck being that one person who just kind of stood around like a lot of people did when they didn't have a friend to talk to or anything like that. That rarely happened to Zach though because well he was an Elite. "Also what type of party is it? Like what's the theme?" There were a lot of questions he had and he would love the details but he didn't know if she was busy and was even going to be answer his questions before the light changed. "Hey Alaura," He said quickly, "are you doing anything right now or soon?" He knew it was probably a random or weird question but because the light was going to change soon and mostly because he wanted something to do other than go looking for a job he might as well try and get her to go out for coffee or something if they had the time to. This also could give him the chance to get all the details on the party if he could.

Alaura could feel a blush threatening to ruin her cool appearance as he replied, "A party? Is that so?" Why couldn't she be that smooth? 'hey, um..' is that really all she could come up with? God, I'm an idiot.. After a moment of her desperately trying not to squirm in her seat, nervous of his answer, he added a simple "Sure." Relief flooded her system instantly. By luck, or fate, she wouldn't be the awkward kid standing at the sideline holding her elbows while everyone else drank or danced together. After all, it was a party, and people tend to cliche up. Most of the recent parties she had been to involved premiers for her new releases or season finales. Those parties were not exactly similar to the Elite parties, which involved a lot more liquor and drama.

She offered him a genuine smile, "Awesome." "I wouldn't mind going to a party. Wait I am going with you right?" His question caught her off guard, and this time she was unable to stop the blush from blooming in her cheeks. "Uh.. Well, Luka said to bring a friend, and I guess since I asked you.. yeah." She laughed a little, a light and airy sound between the purr of his bike and the hum of her engine. The way he had phrased the question made her feel better. It was much better to hear 'I'm going with you, right?', over something such as 'wait, am I going with you?'. "Also what type of party is it? Like what's the theme?" he asked. Good question.. She paused, not really sure what to say. Thankfully, his charming smile never faltered and he added, "Hey Alaura, are you doing anything right now or soon?" She glanced up at the light, fearful of it's authority. "No," she lied.

In reality she had been booking it home in an attempt to call one of her personal hair stylists to make her hair perfect for the evening. Looking at him now, though, she would rather just do it herself and get to steal a few moments of his time. Her blue hues took in the way he straddled over his bike. God bless America... Just then, her phone vibrated in her lap. Upon glancing down, she saw her little sister's name flashing across her screen. Odd. Was there some sort of Daniels emergency going on, or maybe Luka and Jay have joined a family outreach program. After thinking about it, Alaura realized it didn't really matter. She liked getting texts from them.. at least someone was thinking of her.

Quickly bringing herself back to reality, she returned her attention to the Elite beside her. "No, I'm not. There's a starbucks up here on the right... meet me there?" She didn't get the chance to see if he agreed or not, because the light had already changed and her ears were filled with the loud bellow of an angry BWM. Wincing, she reluctantly sped off. The Starbucks were exactly where it had always been, and she pulled in and parked by the outside seating area. She slipped out of her baby and leaned against the white hood of the car, waiting for him to park.

Pulling out her phone, she quickly glanced over the message from her baby sister.

From: Jayson
Message: Hey sis can you help with my wardrobe for the party? Oh and I have great news I want to tell you that I think you can help me with.

Biting her lower lip, she responded quickly.

To: Jayson
Message: Hey! Yeah, sure. I should be home in a little while... do you know what theme Luka is going with? Txt me with it asap? And what news? <3 - A

With the message sent, she tucked the device into her pocket and looked up to look for Zachary. She smiled and nervously tucked a piece of hair behind her ears. If he wants to match or something, I'm going to have to buy a whole new dress.. if Luka has some crazy theme in mind... I'm going to have to buy a whole new dress... Damnit.. Mentally kicking herself for being in such a rush to buy something, she made note to try and be more patient and get all the facts first next time.

Zachary listened to her and noticed her reactions to what he had said or asked her. Sometimes she surprised him, knowing she was an actress and all it was a wonder why she couldn't just act her way through things. Or wait, was that what she was doing right now? No, probably not it was probably just something to reassure him or something like that. He did noticed that she looked relieved when he agreed to go with her though. A soft chuckle escaped his lips as he glanced up to the still red light and he revved his bike. Smirking a little he looked at her again, suddenly putting almost all of his attention on this one girl.

"Awesome." Alaura said and he noticed her genuine smile. He noticed how he had caught her off guard with the question about if he was going with her or not. It wasn't like he didn't want to go with her and had hoped that she didn't think that he had no intention on sticking around with her. An attractive smile came to his face when he saw her blush, holding back a comment about the blush on her face he listened to her response. Smooth, he thought to himself. Friends, good so it wasn't like some kind of relationship type deal because he wasn't good at those. There were always attractive girls at almost every corner and he can't help but to be very tempted to fool around with one of them while in a relationship. That was a constant problem with him when it came to relationships, he just couldn't stay honest. Blinking a few times as he snapped out of his slight dazed state. She was saying that she didn't know what the theme was, and that could be a bad thing because he needed to know just in case he needed to go shopping for a new pair of clothes so he didn't look like that odd person who didn't get the theme.

Nodding, he looked back at a frustrated soccer mom who was practically yelling at her two sons who were fighting over a toy in the very back of the van. Returning his gaze to the Elite, "No, I'm not. There's a Starbucks up here on the right... meet me there?" Before he even got to the chance to respond to the blond beauty she had already sped off and was on her way to go to Starbucks. Raising an eyebrow and questioning what had just happened for a moment he grumbled loudly when the soccer mom behind him honked her horn. "Oh I'm going cool your jets woman!" He roared, sliding the piece of glass down and setting himself just as he sped off towards the Starbucks where she was going to be.

Upon arriving he took a parking spot next to her car, with a suddenly screech he stopped next to her, grinning to himself. With one quickly moment he had his bike turned off and was now taking off his helmet. He put it on the back of his back, looking at her and waiting for a second. "Did I mention you had a nice car?" It was a random subject to be on but he hadn't really had time to say anything about her car until now. His eyes went to her car, looking it over approvingly before he slipped off his bike. He leaned against his bike after putting its kickstand up but didn't moved anywhere until she was ready. "Ready for some coffee or something that you like. Oh yeah by the way, I'll pay for it." He smiled warmly at her as he pushed a strand of brown hair from his face. Even though his hair was a little messy he still couldn't stand when strands of hair would fall into his face.

"Did I mention you had a nice car?" Alaura glanced down at the vehicle she leaned against as she listened to his compliment. "It's my dad's," she admitted openly, "but thanks. I like your bike, I've always wanted one but... I don't have the time to learn, and can't risk damaging the money maker," she joked, indicating her face with a wave of her hand. "Ready for some coffee or something that you like," he asked. No, actually I just had a cup and don't really care for another one... "Sure, sounds great." She flashed him a smile as she pulled her weight from the Maserati. She made her way to the door and couldn't help but laugh as he added, " Oh yeah by the way, I'll pay for it." Alaura stopped, turning to look at him in the doorway. She was a little taken aback by the proximity, but managed to keep her cool. "I know."

It wasn't that she was overly cocky. She knew boys liked to pay for things, as their mothers raised them to do so... and the simple fact was, she could afford to buy the entire coffee line if she wanted to. Still, the idea of an Asher paying for a Daniels made her stomach turn a little. What would mother say? Deciding that it was just coffee, she mentally agreed to stick with her previous statement and allow him to be a gentleman, regardless of his bloodline. After ordering an iced coffee and her guilty pleasure, she led the way outside to one of the tables. The iron cafe chair was cold against her legs, as it sat under a dark green umbrella. The cool of the metal felt good against her skin in the heat of the California sky.

Image

Biting into the chocolate covered strawberry on her napkin, she took a glance around the afternoon patrons of the cafe. Seemingly normal and boring enough people, as always, aside from the devilishly handsome male who joined her. After she had swallowed, she set the leafy greens of the strawberry onto her napkin and addressed Zachary. "I haven't gotten a text back from Luka yet, so no word on the theme... Knowing Luka," Which, admittedly I don't very well... "it will be some sort of 'dress to impress' theme." She took a sip from her caramel macchiato, and let her blue hues trail over his figure. Why did her parents hate his so much? More importantly, what started this stupid feud anyway? Was it really that important who got the bragging rights?

Pushing the unpleasant thought of their family rivalry, Alaura decided it was best to not bring that up. "Thank you," she said softly, toying with the lid to her cup. "For the coffee, and agreeing to come with me to the party." Her sky colored orbs turned upward toward him, peeking up at him. "Your girlfriend isn't going to show up and get the wrong idea or anything, is she?" she added, playing it off as though she hadn't just secretly asked if he was seeing anyone right now or not. Not that it mattered, since he was an Asher and she was a Daniels... And although he was the lesser of the two evils, the fact remained that her father would come unglued if he saw them so much as have coffee together. "I may be an actress, but I prefer to leave my drama on the set," she concluded, smiling down at her coffee. Oh, if only it were that simple.

Zachary ran a hand through his hair then nodded once when she mentioned that the car she was driving was he dad's car. Of course it was. He thought with a soft smile, he should have known that. "but thanks. I like your bike, I've always wanted one but... I don't have the time to learn, and can't risk damaging the money maker," She had added at one point and time. This comment made him glance back at his bike. "Oh that piece of junk? Yeah it's a good bike, but I’m hoping for a different one here soon." He looked over at her then smiled genuinely. "You know, I could take you for a ride some time on it if you wanted me too." He offered smoothly. Soon after a few more words that were exchanged both Elites had slipped into the coffee shop and were now waiting in line for the coffee.

After standing in a very short line they had ordered, she had ordered an iced coffee and something else that he had forgotten about while he just ordered a regular coffee. Just the way he liked it, especially this early in the morning. He paid for their items without even thinking twice about it. He had the money so why not just use it? It wasn't like his parent's would really notice that he bought coffee for a Daniel's daughter.

This was when he remembered that he was having coffee with the Daniel's daughter. His father wouldn't be too happy that this was going on, but who said he even cared? Sure in some ways he supported this thing, though, other times he just wanted to live his life a little. Zach soon made his way over to the table where Alaura was sitting, taking a seat across from her he smiled a little as he took a sip of his coffee. "I haven't gotten a text back from Luka yet, so no word on the theme... Knowing Luka," She informed him, "it will be some sort of 'dress to impress' theme." With a shrug he could only respond with, "That's ok. I am in no rush to find out what the theme is. If it is a dress to impress type of theme I won't have to worry about that because I have a lot of things I can wear that would impress people." He said in a soft tone for once. Turning his coffee around 360 degrees he looked at Alaura, a chuckle escaped his lips once.

When she thanked him for buying her coffee and coming to the party with her, he nodded as nonchalantly as he could. This was a common thing for him sometimes it wasn't like it was a huge deal. Well at least other than the fact that there was a huge feud going on between their families. "Your girlfriend isn't going to show up and get the wrong idea or anything, is she?" Somehow she was able to slip that part randomly into their conversation. After several seconds of choking he shook his head at her and smacked his chest once. "Girlfriend?" He asked then smirked little. "I may be an actress, but I prefer to leave my drama on the set," Rolling his eyes playfully at her. "I don't have one to be completely honest. If you don't want any drama other than on the sets you act on then maybe I shouldn't go with you because I know I would cause a lot of drama if your boyfriend happened to catch me with you." He was being completely serious. There was no way he could count how many times he had almost gotten the crap beat out of him just because he was with one of his friend's at a party or something. It was all because the guy's girlfriends wouldn't tell them about the party and he would end up almost being the one in trouble because of it. Needless to say he was now trying to prevent those problems from happening again. His smirk turned back into that charming smile as he leaned back in his seat and took a sip of his coffee.

Alaura watched as a seagull tried to look as adorable as it could, trying to impress the four year old across the way. The toddler was eating a piece of bread that would no doubt make a lovely treat for the bird. She was pulled from her temporary distraction by Zach’s voice. "I don't have one to be completely honest.” He was joking right? Someone that looked like him, single? Then again… she wasn’t anything close to ugly herself, and yet she wasn’t seeing anyone either.. “If you don't want any drama other than on the sets you act on then maybe I shouldn't go with you because I know I would cause a lot of drama if your boyfriend happened to catch me with you," he concluded.

Alaura laughed a little, tucking the rebellious lock of hair that had fallen into her face behind her ear. “You’re right, but I think we’ll be safe since we broke up last year. I’m pretty sure he’s good and over me by now. I know I’m over him.” Alaura watched him, admiring the way his smirk melted into a cool smile. I wonder if what they say about him is true, she thought to herself. The word on the street about the male Elite was that he was a professional heartbreaker. He couldn’t stay faithful to save his life, so they said. He was just so sweet… could he really be that bad? “Well, now that we know neither of us will get in trouble… guess we’re on for tonight.”

She let out a little laugh and glanced back down at her phone. Someone, please tell me what the damn theme of this party is… “So, uh, anyway..” Alaura trailed off, at a loss for what to say. “I’d like to go for a ride on your bike sometime.” The words sounded blurted, and she mentally scolded herself for being so nervous around him. Alaura glanced back at the road, suddenly aware of how close they were to her estate and his. What if the paparazzi found her and shot a picture of her having coffee with him? Oh, the tabloids would explode… Taking another sip of her coffee, she washed the thought away with the sweet of her caramel macchiato.
