Ahaetulla. A land under constant threat to completely fall apart. Due to the actions of a dedicated group of mages, determined to gain power, a gate was opened, and hell is unleashed over the land. Humans have held back the advances of the demons and things they call "fell-beasts", animals corrupted by the evil, turning into demons themselves. The humans have only done so due to the work of powerful sorcerors creating a barrier between the two lands. This barrier can't hold up forever though...

And that event is what the demons hope for. Under a powerful leader, they keep a looming, ominous feeling in the back of the humans minds. Scaring some, and only taunting others. Many foolhardy heroes have tried to quell this attack, but most have failed. Only once, in legend, many ages ago, has a powerful group of heroes, deemed "The Enchanted", destroyed the pathway from Ahaetulla to hell. They killed most of the demons on this plane as well. But, unfortunately, those heroes eventually were killed by a powerful band of demons. These demons live on today, sneaking into the minds of humans, and corrupt their hearts. At least, by what the legend says. So both sides wait for the other to falter in some way to give an advantageous opportunity...
