"1300 years?" Himitsu said to herself, not really caring about the level of voice she used since there didn't appear to be anyone in the library anyway. She flipped to the page noted in the table of contents and scrolled her finger down the name list, her eyes following just behind that finger. Amelia...von Muran.., she said silently in her head as she searched. She stopped when she came across Amelia's name, though it was written in cursive and the lettering was small, it looked like it was her name at least. Himitsu wasn't exactly the best reader when it came to cursive writing or any other type of fancy font. She scrolled her eyes to the right where it listed a number of books that certain information could be found in. She said the open book on the table and picked up another book that the Record book had suggested, the title simple enough to understand; Von. As she flipped through the pages, searching for the 'M' section, she let out a large yawn. Man..It's so late, she thought to herself, realizing she hadn't had much sleep the night before.

(OOC: I read up on some of your guys posts to try and catch up on whats going on so I hope I'm doing this right)

Kota made his way through the, what he swore were 'mile-high', book cases, trailing his fingers over the fantasy novels. When he came across a book labeled 'Mountain Dragons', he pulled it off the shelf and tucked it under his arm and began to walk down the isle through the shelves of books to find a spot he could sit and read through his book. When he came to what could've been a living room in a rich persons house, he noticed a girl sitting in one of the chairs with a pile of books on the table in front of her. She seemed to be reading history book but he wasn't very sure. He put a smile on his face and approached her and picked up the open book she had laid on the table and looked at the page. "Oh, Noble record huh? That's pretty interesting." He said before setting the book back down and holding out the hand that didn't have the dragon book tucked under it. "I'm Kota Blackwood. Nice to meet you" He said with a bit of a whisper to his voice. He didn't want to disturb anyone else in the library that might be here for a late nights reading.

"Oh, Noble record huh? That's pretty interesting."

Himitsu had just noticed someone had walked up to her and picked up the record book she had set on the table. She looked up at a boy with blonde hair and the strangest amethyst eyes she had ever seen. She had a bit of a blank expression on her face until the boy introduced himself after he set the book back down and held his hand out to her. She shook his hand and then set the book she had in her lap on the table. "I'm Himitsu..and..yea I guess it's interesting. I'm just studying up a bit that's all." she said, giving a smile so not to look suspicious. "So where are you from?" she asked, trying to change the subject.

A librarian noticed some dust on the sign under the picture and then uncovered the name of the empress which was Ameliandaria.

The family tree of the von Muran family in the Records book with a brief description of the family:

The Von Muran family has reigned over the Tatonia region for over 1000 years. In the 14th century, the Von Muran family and Tatonia took over many neighboring regions. This land is today known as Almania with its capital Muran (renamed to Muradnia during the reign of emperor Murad).

Family Tree
(last five generations)
Empress Ameliandaria x Sir Faran: 5 children (Erich, Dalia, Feria, Friedrich, Hilda)

Emperor Erich x Baroness Luxia: 3 children (Murad, Kalan, Helene)

Emperor Murad x Duchess Tumaia: 2 children (Erich II, Hilda II)

Emperor Erich II x Duchess Lessia: 4 children (Erich III, Hindala, Freya)

Emperor Erich III engaged to Baroness Elise: No children yet

Under Empress Ameliandaria it says that she lived from 1877 to 1930 though suspiciously compared to the other names, there is no grave location given.

Back at Amelias apartment, Xandir had gone to sleep so Amelia went and sat down refining her newest spells. She was a master in her work and always had the knowledge to create new spells such as the outside eye. She used it to spy on Himitsu seeing that she was in a library. Amelia noticed the title of the book. "Do not dig too deep or I will have to scare you." Amelia said but unless Xandir was awake, he would be the only one to hear her.

"Awesome name." He said, still smiling. "And I'm just from a small town. It's kind of far off from here. I'm here lookin for a job." He said, picking up another one of the books Himitsu had on the table in front of her and examined the title. "Say, what exactly are you studying up for? If you want to study history on the nobles that use to live here in the city I'd suggest 'Century of Us', by Gregory Mathew. I know it sounds kind of like a dumb romance novel, but it has a lot of interesting stuff." He said, then set the book back on the table." Probably shouldn't read that one. It's just about a noble a long time ago who married some poor lady. I wouldn't even call that history if ya ask me." He said as he looked at the girl with the dark hair. "So, where is it that your from?"

Man, this kid sure does talk a lot doesn't he.. She thought to herself as Kota rambled on about another book he picked up from her table. Why had he just walked up to her anyway? To talk about history? Maybe she looked like she didn't belong in such a fancy library. Then again, he didn't look much different. In fact, he looked rather normal if she had to say so herself. "Um..Right I guess I'll pass on that one then. I'm from here in town, I'm staying at an old Inn not very far off." She said, though truth is she actually didn't have enough money to stay anywhere. Himitsu found this kid a little strange in a way. She couldn't really explain it, maybe he was just strange. "So if that book is so boring, why did you read it? You obviously know what it's about and you didn't even open it." She asked him, a little curious as to how much he knows about history. He seemed rather interested in it. "Hey kid, do you know anything about a noble with the name 'Amelia Von Muran'?" She asked hesitantly. She kept getting this feeling that someone was watching her, but it didn't seem like there was anyone else in the library at the time. She shook off the feeling and looked up at Kota.

"Oh, I didn't read this thing." Kato said with a smile, then his expression turned to a curious one. "Well actually, I guess you could say I've read it." After Himitsu asked him if he knew anything about a noble with the name 'Amelia von Muran', he gave a quite laugh. "I'm 18, actually." He said, though he didn't feel very offended. He was used to people thinking him to be a lot younger than he actually was. "Amelia...no but I have read about an Ameliandaria von Muran? Does that sound right? Her name was there in the record book." He said with a curious tone of voice. Why is she interested in some noble that died a long time ago? And who is this 'Amelia' she mentioned? He thought to himself as he let out a sigh and sat himself on the floor in front of the table with his legs crossed. If she's just studying why is she focused on one person?

18?! She thought to herself, but the surprise didn't last long after he answered her question. But in the record book it says she died in 1930...So it couldn't be Amelia.. she thought to herself, then watched the boy take a seat on the ground in front of her little table. She did feel a little irritated about him just barging in, but was far too tired to say anything about it. Instead she decided to take advantage of this boy, who seemed like he knew a lot about history. Though, he didn't really look like a book worm, there was something about him. Maybe it was the way he talked about books? Or just his strange, strange amethyst eyes. They kind of reminded her of Amelia's eyes, in a way. "So..then how much do you know about this Ameliandria von Muran?" She asked him with a curious tone of voice, trying to sound interested.

"Well, there isn't very much to tell." He said casually as he reached over and picked up the book that was sitting on Himitsu's lap. He turned it over and fumbled with it a little before setting it down on the table and turning his attention back to Himitsu. "It says she lived from 1877 to 1930. Strangely enough though, there is no grave location given for her. Although the rest of thee von Muran, except for two of her children, all have a grave location. Long ago it's said she was cursed and brought great misfortune onto her family. Due to this her family banished her. Some say, because her grave location was never given, that her curse turned her into a vampire." He said the last part with a hint of sarcasm in his voice. "Or well, some just say she gained eternal life or something like that. I don't really care too much about fake legends. The real stuff is the interesting thing. Like why wasn't her grave location ever given?" Kota stood up and walked over to the picture hanging above the fireplace and placed his finger under one of the people in the picture, then turned his head to look at Himitsu. "This is her right here, actually. Ameliandaria von Muran. I think she's rather pretty if you ask me!" He said with a smile.

Amelia watching and hearing them through her spell then facepalmed when the boy mentioned the empress Ameliandara being a vampire who possibly lives on and said: "Tsk. These kids and their wild fantasies." Amelia then noticed a librarian with a book approach them. "I have overheard your conversation and have two things that might be of interest to you. The first is a magical book written by Ameliandara herself. The pictures in them move. I personally can use magic and as a royal librarian I didn't have to go into military service. But I haven't ever seen anything like this." The librarian said. He opened the book and the first picture could have caught anyones eye. There were birds flying in a beautiful pasture full of blooming trees. The next one was a young woman with white or blonde hair but it was hard to tell. The woman walked down a path and turned back with a smile as if she was looking at a lover. Her eyes were blue and her skin was fair.

The name of the book was: "Summer with Finn" and it had a strange seal on it with a very complex design. "It seems like a memory book or photo book of some sort but its story doesnt seem to be about the empress but about a woman named Amelia and a man named Finn. I read it probably 50 times now because I was so fascinated by it." The library continued.

"By the way, in another book, there is a location of the Empresses mausoleum but after going there myself I found it too big and creepy to enter. She seemed to have a slight megalomania to want to have her body kept in a mausoleum that is 10 times the size of the von Muran mausoleum. If you want to enter it, then you will find it on the outskirts of the city." The librarian then marked a map of its location.

Meanwhile Amelia thought they were digging too deep and tapped her staff on the ground. The size of the seal went from the Esper to the royal library. Inside the library, all the books seemed to have come alive and started to fly around like birds. Then a stone statue of Erich the first came alive. The books stacked up into two walls leading the way to the three. The statue walked down the aisle and said in a demonic voice: "You shall not enter my mothers grave!" The statue pulled a sword wanting to attack the three. But Amelia made the statue weak enough so that they could defeat it with no big problems. All she wanted to do is scare them away from thinking about entering a von Muran mausoleum.

Kota looked at the librarian who approached them and showed them a couple of books they could read. One was rather interesting and, although he wasn't a big fan of romance, the fact that the pictures moved really fascinated him. "Summer with Finn?" he said then looked at Himitsu. "Do you think maybe this Amelia girl is who you're talking about? Does she look anything like-" he cut off as suddenly the library books seemed to come to life and he was confused for a moment until the books stacked on top of each other to create and a statue began to tromp down it towards them. "You shall not enter my mothers grave!" it yelled as it drew a sword onto them. This was not a very good situation for him. The magic he used would have no use in an actual battle. The librarian....well..she was a librarian..so what could she do? Kota took a couple steps back but tripped on the small table they had been sitting around and fell back over it. As he sat there he continued to stare up at the statue and it approached them. Does Himitsu have anything she could fight with? He thought to himself and looked at the girl. She didn't seem like the fighting type and she seemed kind of young. Maybe that picture book had some sort of curse on it? Someone doesn't want us finding out something.. He thought to himself and then got onto his knees. "Sorry, so sorry! Won't do anything promise! After all we were just talking about it we weren't actually thinking of going there! you made your point big, scarey, talking statue thingy! Won;t go in, nope, won't go in! You can go back to sleep now....??" He rambled on. Maybe if they showed they were no threat it would stop moving and turn back into a statue.

"The edge of the city huh?" she said, taking the books form the librarians hand and handing her a couple coins. "I'll get these then." she said as Kota began to ask her something but was interrupted as the books began to fly off the shelves. Himitsu dropped the books on the table after Kota pathetically tripped over it and landed on the floor and watched the books form an isle. Then a large statue made its way down the isle towards them with a sword in hand as it yelled to stay away from its mothers grave. Himitsu took a defensive stance and pulled out the pistol she had strapped to her right thigh under her coat and aimed it at the statue of Erich I. She clicked the hammer and pulled the trigger, shooting the thing in the legs four or five times. Though the gun was small, she was taught to cover the bullet with acid using her water magic. This increased the damage extremely and the legs of the statue began to crumble away. Aiming the pistol at the statues head this time, to more shots rang out and the head of Erich I fell and cracked to pieces at it hit the wooden floor of the library. After she put her pistol away, the statues legs crumbled away and it fell over as if it had died. Interest sparked up inside of her and she grabbed the two books and looked down at Kota. Grabbing his hand with her right one, she made a dash for the library door. "Sorry for the mess!" she called back the the librarian as she ran out onto the street, surprisingly enough the sun had already begun to rise, and made her way down an ally way, still dragging Kota around. At the and of the ally she stopped and leaned her back against the wall to rest a minute. "Now we are definitely going." she said with a smile and looked over at Kota. "Obviously there is something in that mausoleum that someone doesn't want anyone finding out about. Otherwise nothing would've happened back there." She straightened up a bit and let out a sigh. "So, you up for a little archeology?"

Kota watched in awe as Himitsu pulled out a gun and began shooting at the statue, the bullets doing more damage than they should be doing. As soon as she was able to cause the statue to tumble to the ground, he felt his hand being jerked on and he was pulled to his feet, letting out a small grunt as Himitsu began to run and he was being dragged behind. "Hey wait a minute!" he managed to gasp as they ran out onto the street. Holy crap! so fast! He thought to himself, giving up trying to say anything. When they finally stopped in an ally way, he put his back up against the opposite wall as her and breathed heavily, attempting to catch his breath. He wasn't so used to running as this girl clearly was. "Now we are definitely going." He heard her say and he looked up at her with a surprised expression, thought still too out of breath to say anything. This girl crazy or something!? He thought to himself as she spoke about the mausoleum. "What? Of course I'm not ready for entering some creepy mausoleum of some 'supposed to be dead' empress. Not to mention that statue could've killed us back there!" He said, straightening up a bit. "If you enter the mausoleum, you'll anger the spirits even more!" He said with a serious tone of voice.

Himitsu let out a small laugh. "Oh please, ghost aren't real silly!" She said with a smile. "And besides, I never said you had to come with me." This time her expression was a little more serious. "I'm going. You don't have to come with me, but this is important. I need to find out who she is. I wasn't very interested at first, but that statue back there definitely changed my perspective. There is no way that was a spirit. I've never believed in ghosts and I still don't" She said, the turned and began to walk out of the ally. "You don't have to come with me, that's completely up to you!" She said, turning her head for a moment to look back at the boy as she walked out onto the street. "What will it be history nerd?"

Amelia watched as Himitsu took the statue apart. She then sighed and said: "They never give up do they? I guess I will have to take care of it myself." Amelia didnt want them to find out about a dark past hidden in the tomb of the great Empress, called the witch empress by other nations. The great empress had wiped what she had done from history books, such as the annihilation of an extremist village by herself or sending a plague to an aggressive rival nation. It was all in that tomb and Amelia would kill to protect her familys name. So Amelia went to wake Xandir up since the sun was coming up. "Xandir, wake up. We are going to make a trip." She said it his ear. She then let a soft groan into his ear, that made every man shiver.

Kota let out an irritated sigh. I can't let her go all by herself. He thought to himself and shrugged. "Fine, I'll go with you." He said, "But, if freaky ghost start talking to us I'm running out and leaving you by yourself!" Though his words were meant to be a joke, he was a little serious too. Creepy, dark places where people are supposed to be buried weren't really his thing. But this girl was something different. She sparked his attention, and that could be a serious matter indeed. When he gets interested in someone, it can be hard to get him to stop digging up information. It was kind of a bad habit of his. Then there was this 'Amelia' girl Himitsu kept mentioning. Was she abbreviating Ameliandaria? Or was she talking about someone she actually knew? If so, why would it have anything to do with a mausoleum? These questions are what made Kota want to go with. He had to get answers. "Lead the way gun girl. You've got the map." He said, walking towards the end of the ally where Himitsu was standing.

((Skipping some so we don't have to take up a whole page just to walk through town)

Himitsu leaned her back against the gate surrounding the mausoleum and let out a sigh. She never realized how large the town was until now. Though the afternoon was still a ways off, she was exhausted for walking so long. This made her wonder a little how Kota was doing. He didn't seem very strong back at the library when the statue had attacked them. She smiled to herself, admitting it was nice to have some company while her drunk mentor was probably suffering from a hangover and who knows what Amelia was doing. Though most likely this boy didn't have any magical talent, he seemed like a some-what smart person and it was nice having someone around she could pick on. In fact, she was hoping to get the chance to scare the hell out of him after they entered the mausoleum. "So!" she said, sounding a bit breathy as she turned to face the large stone building. "I bet it's a maze in there. Got any idea what we could use to mark the paths we take so we don't get lost?" she said, turning her head to him with a smile.

(ooc: skipping o.o..okie dokie following you. Noob respects haha)

Kota looked up at the large building. This thing is a mausoleum? No way! why is it so damn big!? He thought to himself. He was thankful the sun had started to come up more, it might not be as creepy inside if there is some light. Though, the building didn't seem to have any windows. It probably went underground quite a ways and the gate surrounding it with a 'Keep Out' sign on the front made it all the more creepy. He sighed, wondering if he should actually go inside with Himitsu or not. If they ran into anything dangerous he'd be nothing but a burden to her, after all. He had always ended up being a burden when it came to fighting. "I bet it's a maze in there. Got any idea what we could use to mark the paths we take so we don't get lost?" He turned his head to look at her, his face a little confused. That's right she probably has no idea that I can use magic! He thought to himself. Though, he was a little worried that she could be a royal guard, but then again by the way she dressed she just looked like an ordinary townsmen, apart from the gun of course. "Well, I could just use my structure magic. That way I'll know exactly how the building is made." He said hesitently, hoping this girl wouldn't overreact, or worse, end up being a soldier after all.

"Xandir, wake up. We are going to make a trip."
Xandir woke up to Amelia’s voice beckoning him to wake up in his ear. He shivered and felt certain parts of his body react to this gentle blow in his ear. He sat up in bed and held the blanket over his lower body and tried to calm down so that Amelia wouldn’t see how that soft groan in his ear had affected him.
‘I’m surprised I don’t have a hangover.’ He thought to himself as he finally got out of bed and then looked at Amelia. He blushed as he remembered what had happened last night. ‘I should apologize to her and Himitsu. I was being so irresponsible last night.’ He decided now was not the time to bring that up because there seemed to be urgency in her voice. “Is something wrong Amelia? Where are we going?” He asked rubbing his eyes.

"Eh...wait you mean to say you can use magic...." Himitsu said, a little surprised and irritated at the same time. "And yet, I was stuck killing that damn statue!" She said, giving him a menacing glare, then letting out a sigh. She turned to him and smiled. At least this boy was good for something more than running away and freaking out in a dangerous situation. Still, she's never head of being able to use magic to learn the properties of a building. She'd never head of Structure Magic before and had no idea how ti would work, but it sounded rather useful. If he knew his way around in there, it would be most helpful. "Alright, we'll use your magic then!" she said, then unlocked the gate and opened it. She walked around Kota, placed her hands on his shoulders, and pushed him onto the mausoleum grounds. "So work your stuff and get us in there!" She said enthusiastically and stopped pushing him once they reach the large entrance.

At the mausoleum, a bunch of large doors opened and torches lit up as if someone was expecting them. On the walls were moving pictures, many with sound too. "That child is cursed. She isn't my good daughter anymore!" One picture said. Then another said: "I haven't ever seen anything comparable to the arcane power and archaic magic of the empress." "The people love the empress but they don't know how dark she really is, nor how many souls she had taken!" A remarkable moving picture said. It portrayed a man with a old style beard who was obviously an adviser and a young Prince Erich (the first). Then in the picture Prince Erich said: "Mother has only done these things for the safety and stability of our nation. You cannot build an empire with pacifism. Blood was a necessity!" Then there was another picture of a burning village. A woman was in the distance. Foreign soldiers were attacking her. With a simple wave of her hand, an invisible force lopped one soldiers head off. Then with another movement, a man was twisted up breaking his bones and eventually killing him. Then she grabbed the third soldier who started to age rapidly in her grip. The last part of the picture showed an evil grin coming from the woman. It was unknown if the pictures were based on real memories or were mere exaggerations to incite fear into the visitors of the mausoleum. But it was still a long way to the main room.

Meanwhile Xandir had finally woken up. “Is something wrong Amelia? Where are we going?” Xandir asked. Then Amelia grinned and said: "Just wait it is a surprise." She grabbed Xandirs hand and suddenly it was as if they had shifted to another place. It was dark where they had arrived but soon with a snap of Amelias fingers blue torches lit up. When the room became visible, there was a large room. A grave between two large statues that shared some resemblance with Amelia was on one side of the room. One statue had horns and held a large hammer in its hand. The other was more of a woman of grace with shining beauty and a look that anyone would sympathize with. A special furnished wooden table with many chairs stood in front of the grave. It was set with expensive dishes but no food. "Please Xandir, have a seat while we wait for the other guests to arrive." Amelia said. "Would you like something to drink for breakfast? Maybe milk, coffee or orange juice?"

As the approached, the doors suddenly opened and he jumped back a little, his eyes widening in surprise as torches lit up and the portraits hung on the walls argued amongst each other. "What..the hell." he whispered to himself. Something didn't feel right at all about this. The torches lit up as if they someone where expecting them..the portraits moving and talking. What are you getting yourself into? He thought to himself, thinking again whether he should enter or not. He turned his head to look back at Himitsu. "Maybe we shouldn't go in there..I have a really bad feeling." He said, his voice a little shaky. Then, as he saw the body of a man in one of the pictures twist and brake, his stomach clenched. This had to be somebody else controlling the images. There was no way this was a ghost of any kind! Could the empress Ameliandaria still be alive in there? No way! he thought to himself. She wouldn't be able to live so long stuck in a mausoleum..So then..who? Maybe that Amelia character Himitsu keeps mentioning? Could that have anything to do with it? He was starting to get a headache now. Figuring things out weren't exactly his thing either. "Maybe I should just stay out here.." he said hesitantly. He was absolutely terrified to enter this place and he surely didn't want to find out what was inside.

Himitsu took a couple steps back to keep Kota from bumping into her as he jumped back due to the door suddenly opening. As the torches lit up and voices of the portraits could be heard, Himitsu felt a spark of excitement flicker within her chest. "A grand entrance?" she said with a pleased smile. A serious expression crossed her face for a moment as she listened to the portraits argue with each other about the empress, then she smiled again and began to approach the door and stepped inside. "Fine by me go ahead and stay here!" she said, looking back and waving at him. "But there is no way I'm passing up such an invite. It would be rude after all!" She then turned and began to walk down the hallway, the portraits voices louder than she thought at first. An uneasy feeling began to creep over her. Though she was keeping her tough, stubborn outer appearance, she was actually afraid of what she was going to find in here. This was magic, so there had to be someone controlling it from the inside. As Himitsu went further and further down the hallway, she had to squint because the lights from the torches were dimming. Finally, after becoming rather irritated with the loud voices of the portraits, she came to a door. "Alright, whoever you are, where are you leading me to.." she whispered to herself as she gripped the handle and pushed the door open. It was completely pitch black and she couldn't see anything but, never the less, she took a deep breath and stepped in.

"Hey wait a minute!" Kota called as Himitsu entered the mausoleum. He stood there for a minute, having a very hard time figuring out whether he should follow her or not. There was no way of knowing how large that mausoleum could be and he knew she might end up getting lost if he didn't go with her. But then again, he was positive he would end up getting in the way if they had to fight something..or someone. Kota let out an irritated sigh. "Himitsu hold on!" He yelled and ran after her, barely catching up as she came to a doorway. He stopped and took a gasp of breath. How did she manage to get all the way to the end of the passage way in such a short time? He htought to himself, then straightened himself up a bit as she watched her open the door. He followed her in, but it was far too dark to see anything. She should've let me use my structure magic before she just walked off! Then we'd know what room we are in right now! Sheesh, she is far too persistent.. "Uhm..I can't see anything." He whispered to her, staying a good five inches a part so not to loose track of her.

The first room the two stepped in was a travel to the past. As they stepped in, a door shut behind them and it was quiet. Suddenly, the room lit up in fire. The sound of screaming could be heard. Out a window the same was to be seen as in a portrait of the burning village. Inside the room, a man rushed to them. His voice was distant as if he was a ghost: "You need to flee. She is going to kill us all!" Then the ghost faded and the fire in the room dimmed down. It was back to a mausoleum room but lit. Suddenly five undead soldiers of non-Almanian origin burst out of the ground. They were rather looking at Himitsu than Kota. "Girrrrlll. Haaaahhh." One undead soldier said with a drop of drool coming from his mouth. That was the next test: To fend of these somewhat perverted undead miscreants.
