General Appearance
Finn is slim, lean and athletic. His light brown messy hair sometimes falls above his chocolate brown eyes, though he brushes the hair off when it does. As a 21-year-old, Finn still has a young face with relatively light features, but with a defined, diamond-shaped jaw and a bright smile, though he mostly has a neutral facial expression. He is mostly apathetic towards his clothing fashion, often wearing something overly casual like a simple pullover covered by his jacket and jeans, but more often he wears the ministry Auror robes or the special padded Ministry Security uniforms with less traditional, gray heavy jackets that protect from most kinds of spells. After competing in various dueling championships since he was 16, he has a mostly faded burn on his left wrist and has also received various, almost invisible marks throughout.
{loyal, unrealistic, warm, stubborn, caring, guilty}
Finnβs strongly written communication skills and inspiring nature made him an Auror. He was naturally very caring, warm and sensitive, worrying about people easily. Harry Potter, the infamous Boy Who Lived, was one of his only close friends he had at the Ministry because Finn often preferred to work alone. He pushed himself out of his comfort zone however as he was appointed to a field leader for βHallowlightβ, the currently famous Auror team that was fending off the Death Eater attacks. His nature to look at the bigger picture and his loyalty and inspiring, passionate nature made him a good leader and along with Harry, who was proficient in leading also, they made a powerful team.
His negative traits, however, are the results of the impact of his father's death and the pressure of being part of the wizarding world's only hope. His idealism and creativity make him slightly unrealistic and rejective of ideas that don't go into accordance with his heart. Generally incapable of consistently being logical, Finn tends to daydream and focusing is very difficult without pressure. Anger and frustration will break him as passive-aggressiveness is often found when he is angered. He has a skill of preventing conflict, but often he tends to completely avoid it and pretends it isn't present. His personal problems have caused most of these negative traits, especially his guilt and stubbornness. Often acting based on inner feeling, Finn is stubborn in an illogical way. His tendencies to be guilty about the tiniest of things paired up with his trauma causes him to have constant depressive episodes and feelings of harrowing guilt, though only Harry knows about this. A habit of his is also diligently ignoring a problem in a heavily stressful situation until it is too big to solve. He rarely acts instinctively and wonders about how his actions would impact the people around him, leaving the last-minute decisions to Harry. Overall, Finn always would try to be a better person but is never really sure if he will be or if he is one, as his insecurities and his trauma plague him to this day.

Special
Prefect, Youngest duelist to win the dueling championships
I. EXCEPTIONAL AT CHARMS - His wand naturally has a talent in casting charms to the extent that Finn can hold and cast a Patronus Charm easier than most wizards. Other difficult charms can be cast by Finn almost effortlessly.
II. EXCEPTIONAL AT HEALING MAGIC - Willow wand wood and Dittany stalk also have a natural talent of healing magic, with Finn being able to cure and heal injuries that would be fatal. The radiance the wand emits can be enough to even heal cuts and gashes, though more severe wounds can also be easily healed. Together with Finn's slight knowledge of medical magic, he is exceptionally proficient at healing magic.
XXβ’ GOOD DUELLER - Winning the dueling championships with his talent in charms and proficiency in dueling, Finn can quickly cast the right spells or deflect deadly ones.
XXβ’ LEADERSHIP - As one of the field leaders of Hallowlight, Finn is a proficient leader. His inspiring and creative nature keeps the team from falling apart and together with his dueling prowess, Finn was a proficiency in leadership.
Weaknesses
I. POIGNANT - His struggle with depressive episodes and his keen sense of sadness from the trauma leads him to be emotional at times.
II. BAD AT TRANSFIGURATION - His wand may be great at charms, but transfiguration is something else.
III. ATTACHED - He is very easily emotionally attached to a person, often distracting him and making him seem clingy.
IV. GUILT - His feelings of regret and guilt are also one of the main factors of his depression.
V. DAYDREAMER - Tendencies to daydream makes him unable to focus in most situations. This is a heavy weakness as he will be distracted in situations by his thoughts and feelings and the ideas that rush through his mind.

At the age of eleven, Finn Langley was sorted into Hufflepuff. His muggle-born father and his pure-blood mother kept his magical heritage from him until he was at the age of eleven. A 'freak' at muggle school, the young boy never understood how he could do improbable things like float his pencil or launch a bully across the room, but his parents were always still frustrated, even though they knew he was going to be going to Hogwarts soon.
His loving parents said their first goodbye to him as he boarded the train for his first year. He got along with other Hufflepuffs, had a fun time, was very skilled in Charms and one of the few to have wands that didn't have a core of Dragon heartstring, Unicorn tail hair or Phoenix feather. He was an outsider even at Hogwarts.
Of course, he knew about Harry Potter being in the same year as him, but the two never met each other. Only the quidditch matches against Gryffindor when Finn would block most balls with his goalkeeping skill. Finn wasn't the most popular, but many knew his name.
His name was known for the various dueling championships he participated in, winning one when he was at the tender age of 14. He decided to keep it secret. Only his closest friends knew of his other occupations.
A relatively normal time at Hogwarts. Until year 6. Year 6 was when everything changed. Finn believed Harry. Finn believed Dumbledore. He knew that Voldemort was back long before the ministry had realized. A Death Eater attack was responsible for his father's death, right before his eyes. In the same year, the death of Dumbledore and the slow spiral to doom the Wizarding World slid down.
As he was forced to excruciate First Years with curses in Year 7, Finn joined Dumbledore's Army. He became friends with Neville and Luna, distracting the Death Eater teachers time and time again. The final battle was near.
The Battle of Hogwarts. Finn managed to convince Hufflepuff students to stay during the fight, effectively making them help in defeating Voldemort's army. The Boy Who Lived had finally vanquished the Dark Lord. The terrible period of the Wizarding World was over.
Finn continued his life, battling his struggles and guilt as he decided to become and Auror. He met Harry Potter and they became quick friends, working together as Ministry Security and as Aurors, until Sybill Trelawney's third prophecy came along.
Finn was working at Hogwarts when he heard of the news. He was ordered to report it to Kingsley Shacklebolt, who in turn assembled 'Hallowlight' after the Death Eater raid,
with Finn being at the center of attention. Finn was the leader of the newly assembled team. Whenever he was seen in public, he would be asked by reporters and journalists. He rarely had said anything except when his friend Luna, the current writer of the Quibbler, had asked him and Harry.
βThe wizarding world will always have threats. It's an eternal malediction, a candle that will never go out. It will burn forever, for violators and perpetrators who choose to commit crimes will always be abundant in this world, but if we don't fight back, the safety we all share will be lost and the world will inevitably fall. With the abundance of violators, there will always be an abundance of heroes.β
