Beautiful darkness...
Christiana finds strenuous physical activity unfit for a lady such as herself. Her unwillingness at times to run or use a weapon make her appear snobbish, stubborn, and lazy to others. During a mission she is often the one bringing up the rear due not only to her frailty but simply because she refuses to keep up with the quick pace of her companions. Her sweet smile and politeness belie a very aloof and sometimes selfish girl. Underneath the lovely exterior exists an entirely different person that no one else truly knows. She enjoys long strolls at sunset and the stillness of night.
Power: Like her personality, Christiana's power is quite contradictory to her looks. She can manifest darkness and shadow into physical being and control it. Thanks to her mentors, she has become quite proficient in the use of her power and is able to warp shadows into spheres of dark energy and shoot them as well as create dark shields to protect herself (which is very necessary considering she refuses to wear armor or physically dodge attacks). In complete darkness she can cloak herself in shadows and remain invisible as long as she doesn't move. She has been working on creating small creatures out of darkness, but has so far been unsuccessful. Obviously, in the day time her powers are generally useless and she becomes especially vulnerable. It is not until the shadows grow long at sunset that she can unleash her power.
Christiana was born in the forest to proud Exiled parents. Her parents worked hard to instill within her a sense of superiority and pride when they discovered her powers on the night of her ninth birthday. They claimed it was a "present", a gift; something that should be cherished, not scorned. Her parents told her of the injustice put upon her people, and as soon as she was old enough she swore she would join the battle to take the throne from the lesser creatures that had dared to oppress her mighty race. She now works with the increasing number of Exiled that wish to exact their revenge on the ones who killed their brethren... that is, when it's convenient for her.
